President Trump said Friday he was surprised by allegations of domestic violence against

his staff secretary that forced the top aide to resign this week — but lauded the work

Rob Porter did and noted that that he has maintained his innocence.

"We found out about it recently and I was surprised by it, but we certainly wish him

well and it's a tough time for him.

He did a very good job when he was in the White House," Trump said.

Trump's comments Friday were the first time the president has spoken publicly about the

top aide since the allegations surfaced Wednesday in a report in the British tabloid The Daily

Mail.

Trump said he was saddened by the allegations.

"'He also, as you probably know, says he's innocent and I think you have to remember

that," Trump said in an told reporters in the Oval Office in an unscheduled photo-op.

"He said very strongly yesterday that he's innocent so you have to talk to him about

that, but we absolutely wish him well, he did a very good job when he was at the White

House."

The country was rocked when Republicans in the House Intelligence Committee released

their memo Friday.

The memo details shocking abuse of power during the Obama administration after members of

the DOJ and FBI apparently used the bogus Russian dossier, also known as the Steele

dossier, to illegally acquire warrants to spy on members of the Trump campaign.

The document names major officials within the government.

They abused their power to spy on Donald Trump's people.

Their intention was to find dirt on the campaign, in the hopes of destroying Trump's chances

at the election.

The warrants were clearly motivated by politics, but the officials within the DOJ lied to hide

that.

Democrats are scrambling to spin the news.

They've spent the last few days either ignoring the memo or trying to discredit it.

Rep. Adam Schiff is one of the Democrats trying to limit the damage, but President Trump went

after the liberal, and he wasn't shy about it.

He declared to the American people that Schiff is one of the biggest liars and leakers in

Washington, D.C.

President Trump blasted the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee Monday amid

the mounting fight over the panel's 'surveillance' memo, calling "Little Adam Schiff" one

of the "biggest liars and leakers in Washington."

The president's early Monday tweet came as Democrats, led by Schiff, continued to

condemn majority Republicans for publishing the memo claiming authorities used a salacious

anti-Trump dossier to obtain a warrant to monitor a Trump associate.

"Little Adam Schiff, who is desperate to run for higher office, is one of the biggest

liars and leakers in Washington, right up there with Comey, Warner, Brennan and Clapper!"

Trump tweeted.

"Adam leaves closed committee hearings to illegally leak confidential information.

Must be stopped!"

It's clear the Democrats will do anything to save face.

Their party has been exposed as corrupt, dishonest, and criminal.

They violated U.S. law — and the 4th Amendment — to undermine our presidential election.

There is very little they can do to change that now.

As a member of the House Intelligence Committee, Schiff has promised to release the Democrats'

version of the memo.

I can't believe they will reveal anything that hasn't already been discovered in the

Republicans'.

You can't put the cat back in the bag, Little Adam.

But, I'm curious to see how they explain away all the shocking abuse and dishonesty

exposed in the Republican memo.

Rep. Schiff tried to respond to the President's criticisms.

Like most Democrats, he lacked any real ammunition.

Instead, he resorted to empty insults and baseless accusations.

Schiff, D-Calif., fired back within minutes, tweeting: "Mr. President, I see you've

had a busy morning of 'Executive Time.'

Instead of tweeting false smears, the American people would appreciate it if you turned off

the TV and helped solve the funding crisis, protected Dreamers or…really anything else."

Has Adam Schiff been asleep for the last year?

News flash, Little Adam: Trump has single-handedly turned around the United States.

He has brought back jobs, lowered taxes, and helped bring the biggest stock market boom

in history.

The "funding crisis" is entirely your party's fault.

If the government is shut down again, the Democrats will be so damaged that they might

never recover.

So, yeah, I don't think President Trump is in any danger, Little Adam.

While you waste time releasing an insignificant memo, you take time away from settling the

budget issue.

When the government spirals into another tailspin, the country won't be blaming President Donald

Trump.

They'll be blaming you and every other liar in Washington.

TO ESTABLISH NATIONAL VETTING CENTER FOCUSED ON TRAVELERS, IMMIGRANTS TO US

CNN Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump is

expected to sign a national security memorandum on Tuesday establishing a �National Vetting

Center� aimed at improving vetting of those looking to enter the US, two administration

officials told CNN.

The presidential memorandum will give the Department of Homeland Security and other

agencies six months to establish the center, which administration officials said is intended

to streamline vetting and improve the flow of information between various federal agencies.

The memorandum Trump is expected to sign on Tuesday will not establish any new authorities

or call for any new funding to establish the vetting center, which will be an effort between

DHS, the State Department, Justice Department and intelligence agencies, a National Security

Council official said.

Trump touts economy as market tanks It�s unclear how this effort will change

the way travelers and immigrants to the US are vetted.

While the center�s efforts are largely expected to focus on visa applicants, immigrants and

others looking to enter the US, the center will also look to streamline vetting of certain

individuals who are already in the US, including those subject to deportation proceedings,

according to the National Security Council official.

Anticipating concerns from civil liberties groups, the memorandum will also establish

a standing privacy and civil liberties panel, which will have some oversight over the National

Vetting Center�s activities.

The membership of that panel will also be determined during the six-month period.

The National Vetting Center is part of the Trump administration�s broader efforts to

tighten immigration screenings, following Trump�s calls for �extreme vetting�

during his presidential campaign.

Trump has repeatedly pointed to the need for tighter immigration controls, amplifying his

calls in the wake of terrorist attacks � even when the terrorist in question was born in

the US or was radicalized after entering the United States.

Trump has also repeatedly mischaracterized US vetting procedures, suggesting during the

campaign and into his presidency that some individuals have entered the US without proper

vetting.

In railing against the current US visa lottery program, Trump has suggested individuals are

randomly selected for entry to the US, leaving out the background screening procedures they

must first pass.

The vetting center will be overseen by a board of governors that will likely include Cabinet

members, the official said.

President Trump is, quite literally, cleaning house.

In the first year of Donald Trump's four-year tenure, he's already rid the United States

of over 226,000 illegal immigrants from all over the country.

While deportations are up, arrests of illegal aliens are up too.

In fact, he's already arrested 111,000 undocumented immigrants — which is a whopping 42.3 percent

increase in arrests compared to Barack Obama's last year in office.

These stunning numbers come after strict new orders from Secretary of Homeland Security

John Kelly, who says that a single DUI will put you on their official arrest list.

"The president made it clear in his executive orders: There's no population off the table,"

ICE acting director Thomas Homan said on Dec. 5.

"If you're in this country illegally, we're looking for you and we're going

to look to apprehend you."

At Trump's first State Of The Union address, he spoke about the terrors of the infamous

MS-13 gang: "In September 2016, on the eve of Nisa's

16th birthday — such a happy time it should have been — neither of them came home,"

Trump said.

"These two precious girls were brutally murdered while walking together in their hometown.

Six members of the savage MS-13 gang have been charged with Kayla and Nisa's murders."

The parents, who were in the audience of Trump's first State of the Union address, could be

seen tearing up as the President shared the story of the slain teenagers.

"Tonight, everyone in this chamber is praying for you.

Everyone in America is grieving for you," Trump told the parents, who then were honored

by a standing ovation.

"Together we're going to restore safety to our streets and peace to our communities

and we're going to destroy the vile, criminal cartel MS-13 and many other gangs," Trump

said.

Lawmakers in Washington are currently working to achieve a plan for immigration reform,

and Trump used the address to tout his hardline immigration platform — talking about the

"glaring loopholes" in current US laws.

"Many of these gang members took advantage of glaring loopholes in our laws to enter

the country as illegal, unaccompanied, alien minors and wound up in Kayla and Nisa's

high school," Trump said.

The border is function properly too — with the amount of illegals coming into the U.S.

being a record low.

"Border Patrol agents recorded 310,531 apprehensions nationwide in fiscal year 2017, the lowest

since the 302,517 apprehensions in 1971.

CBP tallied 415,816 apprehensions in fiscal year 2016," the Immigration and Customs

Enforcement website notes.

NBC reports: ICE said "interior removals" — people

deported after being arrested away from the border — jumped 25 percent to 81,603 from

65,332 the previous year.

They rose 37 percent since Trump's inauguration compared to the same period a year earlier.

Reasons for the precipitous drop in border arrests are unclear but Trump's election

may have deterred people from trying.

Trump has yet to get funding for the first installment of his proposed border wall with

Mexico and the number of Border Patrol agents has declined as the government's struggles

to fill vacancies continues under his presidency.

Philadelphia football fans embraced their team during their first Super Bowl parade.

The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New England Patriots, 41-33, and fans rejoiced starting

at early hours of the morning on the day of the parade.

The Eagles Super Bowl parade was a massive event that saw hundreds of thousands of fans

celebrating peacefully.

People of all kinds were out celebrating together, in unison, and enjoying a day on the town

as the parade traveled from Broad Street, through center city, and then to the Benjamin

Franklin Parkway to the Philadelphia Art Museum.

Eagles Jason Kelce delivered the most prophetic speech of Philadelphia sports history.

He topped Chase Utley's 2008 World Series talk by a huge margin and had the entire city

on their heels.

But that wasn't the only highlight of the day.

That may have been the most exhilarating and loud part of the afternoon, but then something

else happened later with quarterback Carson Wentz.

Wentz cruised the Eagles to a stunning record in the regular season, but then injured his

knee.

Backup quarterback Nick Foles took over and continued the Eagles success leading the rest

of the way and to a Super Bowl victory.

Foles won the MVP and Wentz was called in for something else.

Carson Wentz was chosen to deliver a keynote speech during the National Prayer breakfast.

Even more impressive is that Wentz was chosen as the replacement for Vice President Mike

Pence.

The Vice President was in South Korea preparing for delegations during the Winter Olympics.

Wentz was chosen because he has unashamedly been outspoken about his Christian beliefs

during the entire NFL season.

Wentz just showed up as the replacement for Pence and he brought the power of God with

him!

Wentz, Trump, and God!

That's the three who brought down the house in this magical moment.

Wentz was able to deliver this wonderful talk right after participating in the Super Bowl

Parade in Philadelphia.

He's versatile on the field and off!

Inforum posted this note on their website: "Wentz was named as the keynote speaker,

replacing Vice President Mike Pence who was at the Olympic opening ceremonies in Pyeongchang,

South Korea North Dakota Rep. Kevin Cramer told The Forum

of Fargo-Moorhead that Wentz's speech to the 2,500 people attending the dinner was

"remarkable."

"He absolutely touched every heart in this place tonight," Cramer said."

Sadly to Philadelphia and the rest of the league, three Eagles players have expressed

their disinterest in visiting the White House on a traditional visit that's usually done

by sports championship winners.

Chris Long, Malcolm Jenkins, and Torrey Smith have stated they would not visit Trump if

they were invited to the White House.

They have their own specific reasons, but the trip has not happened yet and it is unknown

if they will truly skip or change their mind and attend to be with their team.

Fans call for them to be with their teammates

President Donald Trump criticized the NFL players for taking a knee during the National

Anthem.

Players responded by protesting more, some for different reasons.

Fans responded by boycotting football and causing the league to suffer some of the worst

ratings in NFL history.

The "take a knee" movement has essentially ruined part of the enjoyable moments of the

NFL.

Football is one of America's favorite sports and Sunday's are legendary in the fall and

winter.

This season's protests have turned the league into a political playground, something that

every fan seemingly despised.

Football fans want to see their players and teams perform at the highest level and keep

the politics out of their sport.

Politics doesn't mix with entertainment and we've learned that while watching football

ratings suffer.

We've also seen this in the movie/music industry as entertainers continue to bring

politics into their performances and award shows – they too suffer horrible ratings

and criticism from fans who are extreme;y disappointed in celebrities and athletes who

turn their profession into a social justice warrior platform.

Super Bowl LII may have rejuvenated football and ended the "take a knee" movement once

and for all.

Both teams were standing for the National Anthem and victorious Eagles players and coaches

expressed their "glory to God" to bring this sport back to the all American tradition

it used to be.

Carson Wentz brings his best game on the field and he brought it off the field too.

If this is the type of class that we see more of, then it's time to make football great

again!

The NFL needs more people like Carson Wentz.
