Trump

Declares Victory No Kneeling at the Super Bowl

President Donald Trump celebrated the fact that NFL football players did not take a knee

during the national anthem at the Super Ball.

There was nobody kneeling at the beginning of the Super Bowl, Trump said. Weve

made a lot of improvement, havent we? Thats a big improvement.

On top of that it was a good game, so a lot of good things happened, Trump said.

But there was no kneeling before that Super Bowl.

Former 49ers backup quarterback Colin Kaepernick might not have played in Sunday nights

Super Bowl, but he did celebrate the pinnacle of the National Football Leagues season

by raising money for a group named after convicted cop-killer Assata Shakur.

The Washington Times reports that as part of his post-football career Kaepernick has

been raising money for a variety of progressive causes through a program called Million Dollar

Pledge. Some of the groups are innocuous, such as pro-education organizations and campaigns

to help get kids off the street after school, but at least one, Assatas Daughters, has

more concerning roots.

Assatas Daugthers bills itself as a direct action group that carries on the tradition

of radical liberatory activism encompassed by Assata Shakur. But Shakur herself was

a member of the Black Liberation Army and in 1977 was convicted of killing a New Jersey

State Trooper in a highway shootout. She escaped prison and fled to Cuba, where she remains,

evading authorities .

The NFL has made headlines for all the wrong reason this season as hundreds of players

have protested during the national anthem in retaliation to President Donald Trumps

criticism of those that disrespected the flag. Fans began boycotting, the NFL lost millions

in revenue, and the ratings ultimately plummeted.

Scoring a 41-33 victory over odds-on favorite Tom Brady and crew, the City of Brotherly

Loves win Sunday also prevented the defending champion Patriots from claiming a sixth Super

Bowl to match the Pittsburgh Steelers for the most wins ever.

However, for the NFL and broadcasters pummeled with double-digit ratings drops this season,

the number that really matters right now is the 47.4/70 in metered market ratings that

yesterdays Super Bowl delivered. Dipping by a slight 3% from the earliest numbers of

last years Patriots 34-28 comeback victory over the Atlanta Falcons, Sundays game

is looking to be the eighth highest-rated Super Bowl ever. With more streaming options

than ever this year, last nights game is up 9% in metered market results compared with

when the Patriots and Eagles last clashed in the NFL title game, at Super Bowl XXXIX

in 2005.

However, Sundays Super Bowl also saw a decline of 5% in metered market results from

the last time NBC had the big game on February 1, 2015, when the Patriots faced off against

then-champs the Seattle Seahawks. Overall, last nights game peaked in the high-stakes

fourth quarter with a 52.2/74.

All in all, Super Bowl LII is currently the lowest rated since Super Bowl XLIV in 2010,

when the New Orleans Saints thrashed the Indianapolis Colts on CBS. That first Super Bowl appearance

and win for the Saints garnered a 46.4 in metered market ratings.

On Sunday night, the Philadelphia Eagles faced off against the New England Patriots to put

an end to what has been an incredibly political and drama-filled NFL season.

Hundreds of players have kneeled during the national anthem, President Donald Trump has

slammed players for disrespecting the flag and Vice President Mike Pence even walked

out of an Indianapolis Colts game after seeing players protest.

However, when three-time Grammy winner Pink opened up the Super Bowl despite announcing

that she had the flu and had an extremely rough rehearsal, not a single player kneeled

for the national anthem

CNN's April Ryan Calls Trump Un-American, Sanders Makes Her Laughing Stock Of Press Corps - Duration: 4:30.

CNN's April Ryan Calls Trump Un-American, Sanders Makes Her Laughing Stock Of Press

Corps During Tuesday's press briefing at the White

House, CNN's April Ryan called President Donald Trump "un-American."

In response, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders made the insolent liberal

reporter the laughing stock of the entire press corps. One week after President Trump

addressed a joint session of Congress to deliver his very first State of the Union speech,

CNN's April Ryan called him "un-American" for expressing his dismay that Democrats sat

on their lousy liberal butts during key moments of his speech.

April Ryan pressed Sarah Sanders at Tuesday's White House press briefing over the president's

tone when questioning Democratic lawmakers' behavior during his State of the Union address.

Since the State of the Union, Trump has expressed his serious disappointment with Democrats

who refused to stand during certain segments, including his touting of historic lows in

black unemployment and his comments on the national anthem.

[Source: The Daily Caller] Ryan tried to spin the situation, as members

of the press typically do, in order to make it fit one of the media's favorite narratives;

namely, that President Trump is "un-American."

Ryan claimed that is was standard behavior for one party to sit during the SOTU, insinuating

that that fact alone makes it the American thing to do.

"If it's a Democratic president, the Republicans sit, if it's a Republican president, the

Democrats sit," she said.

"What is so un-American about this, this year, after this has been going on for all

of these years?"

Ryan asked Sanders.

As usual, Trump's spokeswoman was ready with a dynamic response that put Ryan in her

place for making such an irreverent claim.

"I think its un-American not to be excited about the fact that more people in this country

have jobs than they did before, the fact that more people in this country have higher wages

than they did before, the fact that the economy is booming like it wasn't before, the fact

that ISIS is being crushed like it wasn't before," Sanders answered.

"These are things that, I don't care what party you are from, these are things that

every American should be excited about and be able to celebrate," she said.Indeed,

the Democrats showed their true colors last Tuesday night when they sat as Republicans

cheered job growth and the booming economy.

These are issues which are bipartisan, or at least they should be.

For example, everyone should be proud of the fact that unemployment numbers have hit record

lows, meaning that more Americans have jobs now than before Donald Trump took office.

Coincidentally, the only politicians who aren't happy about this have been trading welfare

for votes for years.

Now that Americans are back at work earning their own money, they're far less likely

to vote for Democrats pushing food stamps and other "free stuff."

The Congressional Black Caucus, in particular, remained seated as President Trump touted

the fact that black unemployment recently reached the lowest levels on record.

President Donald Trump highlighted the African-American employment rate during his State of the Union

address on Tuesday night, but a cutaway shot of the Congressional Black Caucus showed their

response was anything but enthusiastic.

"Unemployment claims have hit a 45-year low," Trump said during his speech.

"African-American unemployment stands at the lowest rate ever recorded, and Hispanic

American unemployment has also reached the lowest levels in history."

The camera then pivoted to a shot of the Congressional Black Caucus fully seated, offering no response

to the Republican president's statement.

[Source: Aol.]

You would have thought that the Congressional Black Caucus would have been thrilled by this

announcement, but quite the opposite was true.

Inside, every single member of the CBC was having their own personal "oh, shit" moment.

"How will we secure the black vote if blacks no longer need welfare?" they were likely

asking themselves.

Should April Ryan find herself in the mood to point fingers at someone for being "un-American,"

she ought to start with members of the Democratic Party, particularly the Congressional Black

Caucus.

Breaking News From President Trump

President Trump said the recently released memo alleging extreme intelligence abuse during

the FBI investigation into the 2016 Trump campaign "totally vindicates" him.

President Trump has made a few statements about the release of the now-declassified

memo by Republicans in control of the House Intelligence Committee saying that the document

proves the ongoing probe is a "witch hunt."

Trump tweeted Saturday:

This memo totally vindicates "Trump" in probe.

But the Russian Witch Hunt goes on and on.

There was no Collusion and there was no Obstruction (the word now used because, after one year

of looking endlessly and finding NOTHING, collusion is dead).

This is an American disgrace!

The four-page memo, written by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif.,

alleges intelligence abuse by the Department of Justice and the FBI during the 2016 presidential

campaign.

Particularly, it alleges that the two agencies requested a surveillance warrant using a disputed

anti-Trump dossier funded by Democrats, Fox News reports.

The memo said former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe testified to the committee that "no

surveillance warrant would have been sought" from the FISA court "without the Steele

dossier information."

The memo said it was not disclosed that the dossier was authored by an outspoken Trump

critic and former British spy, Christopher Steele.

"What's going on in this country, I think it is a disgrace," the president said at

the White House after the memo was released.

"When you look at that, and you see that, and so many other things what's going on,

a lot of people should be ashamed of themselves, and much worse than that."

Nunes told Fox News' Bret Baier on Friday that the release of the memo was out of "an

obligation to the American people."

"I have an obligation to the American people when we see FISA abuse," Nunes said on "Special

Report."

"These are secret courts that exist to target for foreigners, for catching terrorists, for

catching people who might be bad actors and the American citizens that are represented

before this court have to be protected, and the only place that can protect them is the

U.S. Congress when abuses do occur."

Trump has repeatedly argued that the investigation – which was taken by special counsel Robert

Mueller in May – that the probe has found no collusion from his campaign and should

be concluded.

Prior to the release of the memo Friday, Trump tweeted: "The top Leadership and Investigators

of the FBI and the Justice Department have politicized the sacred investigative process

in favor of Democrats and against Republicans – something which would have been unthinkable

just a short time ago.

Rank & File are great people!"

AFF reported yesterday:

Mueller is a crooked cop determined to take down the President at all costs.

Mueller isn't investigating Trump, but rather those involved with the egregious abuses of

power outlined in the above memo.

Since everyone who knows Mueller says he only plays by the rules, the second option is the

most likely.

In fact, below is an excerpt from a Politico story in which a former deputy for Ken Starr

stated that Mueller doesn't stray from the rules one bit.

"If we know anything about Mueller, we think we know that he follows the rules—all of

them," Paul Rosenzweig, another former Starr deputy, wrote Tuesday in the Atlantic.

Take from that what you will.

Now we just have to wait and

see

what happens.
