Trump news on Youtube Dec 8 2018

North Korea's foreign minister Ri Yong-ho is in China for a three-day visit, and today

he met with Beijing's foreign minister Wang Yi.

It's expected that Wang briefed Ri on the results of last week's U.S.-China summit talks,...

while discussing Pyeongyang-Beijing bilateral relations and the recent developments on the

Korean Peninsula.

Though not confirmed, there is also speculation that Ri may meet with Chinese President Xi

Jinping.

Ri's visit to China comes as speculation rises on whether North Korean leader Kim Jong-un

will visit South Korea before the end of this year, as agreed with President Moon Jae-in

at their September summit.

MUELLER BUSTED HIDING EVIDENCE THAT EXONERATES TRUMP - Duration: 11:07.

MUELLER BUSTED HIDING EVIDENCE THAT EXONERATES TRUMP

Special Counsel Robert Mueller was just busted hiding evidence regarding Michael Cohen's

guilty plea that exonerates President Trump.

Here's what we know per Real Clear Politics via Powerline:

Mueller omitted the fact that Cohen did not have any direct points of contact at the Kremlin,

and had resorted to sending the emails to Vladimir Putin's general press mailbox.

Sources who have seen this omitted information say it undercuts the idea of a "back channel"

and thus the special counsel's collusion case.

The same criminal information document holds additional exculpatory evidence for Trump,

sources say.

It quotes an August 2017 letter from Cohen to the Senate intelligence committee in which

he states that Trump "was never in contact with anyone about this [Moscow Project] proposal

other than me."

This section of Cohen's written testimony, unlike other parts, is not disputed as false

by Mueller.

Also notable: Mueller did not challenge Cohen's statement that he "ultimately determined

that the proposal was not feasible and never agreed to make a trip to Russia."

The Moscow tower project never went anywhere because Cohen's contact, Felix Sater, a

Russian immigrant with a checkered past who was a longtime Cohen associate in New York

real estate, didn't have the pull with Putin he claimed to have.

"Though Cohen may have lied to Congress about the dates," one Hill investigator

said, "it's clear from personal messages he sent in 2015 and 2016 that the Trump Organization

did not have formal lines of communication set up with Putin's office or the Kremlin

during the campaign.

There was no secret 'back channel.'"

But that hasn't stopped rampant and unfounded speculation about a comeuppance for President

Trump by some media figures and Democrats.

Well into the 2016 campaign, one of the president's closest associates was in touch with the Kremlin

on this project, as we now know, and Michael Cohen says he was lying about it to protect

the president," said CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer."

"Cohen was communicating directly with the Kremlin," Blitzer added.

So once again it's clear the Mueller is trying to "get" Trump at any cost.

Regardless of the facts.

Mueller is also willing to withhold information, lie and more in pursuit of his nefarious goal.

Despicable.

Trump should force Mueller to put up proof of Russian collusion, or shut him down.

CNN evacuated over bomb threat - 20 minutes after Trump tweeted attack on media - News Live - Duration: 2:40.

The New York headquarters of CNN have been evacuated following a bomb threat.  The news corporation's base at the Time Warner Center in Columbus Circle, Manhattan, was evacuated shortly after 10

30pm on Thursday night, the corporation said in a statement.  The New York Police Department bomb squad is on the scene while investigations are being carried out

CNN said a call came in at 9.47pm claiming there were five bombs in the building

CNN reporter Brian Stelter tweeted: "The NYPD is investigating a bomb threat near CNN NYC's office at Columbus Circle

"Due to the threat, the office has been evacuated. Right now CNN is airing taped programming due to the disruption

"  The evacuation came a short time after Donald Trump tweeted another attack on the media

The President wrote: "FAKE NEWS - ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!"  CNN anchor Don Lemon was forced to evacuate in the middle of his live show

He tweeted: "We were evacuated in the middle of my live show. Bomb threat. We're running taped programming

NYPD is investigating. Stay tuned."  Police and fire department trucks have blocked all vehicle and pedestrian traffic on West 58th Street between 8th and 9th Avenue

The bomb threat comes just weeks after CNN was targeted in a pipe bomb scare.  The network's bureau in the Time Warner Center was evacuated in October after a package with an explosive device, addressed to former CIA Director John Brennan, was discovered, officials said

Trump advisers fear 2020 nightmare: A recession - Duration: 6:45.

pretend Donald Trump's economic officials are reassuring investors about

recent white knuckled stock market volatility while Trump's political

advisors are increasingly alarmed that the economy could present a stiff 2020

campaign headwind many of trumps political allies acknowledged up his

reelection prospects hinge in large part on how Americans judge their economic

prospects at the time of the next election and many independent analysts

say that recent market turbulence is a warning sign that the u.s economy will

likely slow and maybe even dip into recession by 2020 at the moment that

scenario could be the biggest threat to Trump's chances at winning a second term

according to interviews with aid current and former senior administration

officials and close White House advisors the president knows this better than

anyone since he is highly attuned to

fluctuations in the stock market and views as a form of polling at times

Trump has bragged about the markets performance on a near daily basis a real

estate mogul who has borrowed heavily Trump is equally obsessed with interest

rates and has closely monitored the run-up to a mid-december Federal Reserve

meeting in which central bankers are expected to raise rates political

advisors have urged Trump to build his economic message around more stable data

points than the daily volatility of the stock market such as the low

unemployment rate speaking publicly Trump allies dismissed the worries of

economic forecasters who call events like Tuesday's 700 point drop in the Dow

Jones average followed by another temporary dive on Thursday after markets

were closed Wednesday a sign of things to come any time you see the stock

market fall by 1400 points in two days there is lots of nervousness said

Stephen Moore a distinguished visiting fellow at the Heritage Foundation and

informal economic adviser to the 2016 Trump campaign but the economy is

fundamentally strong in terms of construction manufacturing and corporate

earnings I don't think they're worried about the recession I am amazed at this

many wave of recessionary pessimism that has

the media National Economic Council director Larry Kudlow said at a recent

Wall Street Journal event the evidence is quite different than these

speculations we are humming but many economic analysts also predict

the recent economic boom will soon fizzle with growth plunging below two

percent by 2020 according to an analysis by S&P chief u-s economists bath hanbô

Fino currently the economy is growing at a rate of 3.5% that squares with

cyclically trends suggesting the u.s is due for an economic downturn soon

Friday's job numbers provided little reassurance with the Labor Department

reporting that employers added 155 thousand jobs last month a figure well

below expectations of 198,000 compounding the worry is Trump's trade

showdown with China which poses a risk to the global economy over dinner at

last weekend's g20 summit Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping agreed to

pause the rescue letting trade fight for 90 days as they search for a long-term

agreement but since then Trump has shaken markets with bellicose trade talk

that means stress for Trump aids and allies planning a 2020 message they hope

to build in part around economic growth and greater prosperity for Americans

former presidents Ronald Reagan Bill Clinton and to a lesser degree Barack

Obama all vaulted to re-election with their help of a growing economy the last

one term president the late George H W Bush is widely considered to have been

doomed by recession which struck midway through his tenure while top officials

like Treasury secretary Stephen Nunn should argue that gross domestic product

and inflation are the most important metrics to track and that those figures

remain healthy other advisors say voters are focused on more tangible indicators

including wages unemployment in the housing and stock markets they know it

could be a very dangerous situation if the market volatility is hurting workers

in key battleground states through their pensions investments

it said one republican close to the white house the concern is probably at a

DEFCON 3 at this point but it will definitely spike in 2019 if there's no

real solution to the trade dispute with China during this 90-day period

part of the problem for a president obsessed with the stock market is that

no one can pinpoint what exactly is causing the drops uncertainty about

trade deals fear about rising debt or slowing economic growth Trump himself

appears to be prepping for a slowdown by identifying scapegoats chief among them

for the moment his Federal Reserve Chairman Jay Powell just last week Trump

blamed the independent Fed for the drop in the stock market as well as a recent

plan closing announcement by General Motors speaking to The Washington Post

Trump said he was not even a little bit happy with Powell whom he nominated

surround the fed Trump is more strategic about setting up the assignment of blame

than people give him credit for said a second Republican close to the White

House when asked about the attacks on Powell other advisers expect Trump to

contain be blaming Democrats for recent market weakness as he and his aides did

in the run-up to last month's midterm elections one likely target is a

presumed incoming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi who was far better known than

Powell to Americans beyond Washington added to the scapegoat list will be any

departing cabinet or top White House officials said a Republican close to the

White House he's going to blame Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross for some of these

problems once Ross leaves said the Republican and if any of his advisers

walk he'll blame them too some officials are desperately hoping for a trade deal

with China so the tariffs do not loom over consumers and companies just as the

front begins raises rates as expected and as economic growth begins to slow

but there are no guarantees that China Hawks within the administration who

scoff at Wall Street's market-driven concerns about the trade fight won't

carry the day officials are heartened however by the

thought that a real estate developer turned politician like Trump takes the

state of the economy personally it's not just a talking

point for re-election but one about his legacy said one former senior

administration official the president wants to be able to say I handled the

economy better than Obama Dave I

THIS IS IT –DONALD TRUMP HITS JEFF SESSIONS WITH DEVASTATING BLOW - Duration: 10:48.

THIS IS IT –DONALD TRUMP HITS JEFF SESSIONS WITH DEVASTATING BLOW

Reports indicate that President Trump plans to nominate William Barr as his next Attorney

General.

Barr, the former George H.W. Bush attorney general, has been critical of the Robert Mueller

Russia probe, and he also backs President Trump's decision to fire former FBI Director

James Comey.

The Hill Reporter reported that Barr, who served as US attorney general from 1991 to

1993 under President George H.W. Bush, is a well respected lawyer among Republicans,

and following his time as AG served as general counsel and executive vice president of Verizon

Communications.

The issue many Democrats and some Republicans may have with a possible Barr nomination are

statements he made in the past about Hillary Clinton, James Comey and the president's

authority to investigate the Uranium One deal.

In November of 2017 Barr told the New York Times he believed there was more basis to

investigate the Uranium One deal that Clinton was allegedly involved in, than whether or

not President Trump colluded with the Russians.

He also said that there would be nothing wrong with then Attorney General Jeff Sessions calling

for an investigation into both Clinton and James Comey in regards to Clinton's private

email server.

Twitter reacted to the news of the likely new AG.

From Yahoo News

President Donald Trump has told advisers he intends to nominate former attorney general

William Barr as his next attorney general, multiple sources familiar with the matter

tell ABC News.

The presidents' aides had previously floated the idea of Barr retaking his post in the

Justice Department, sources said, with an announcement expected next week.

The Washington Post first reported the news.

Barr did not respond to ABC's request for comment.

A source close to Barr says he is likely to accept the job if offered.

In the early 1990s, as attorney general, Barr supervised Robert Mueller in his work as the

chief prosecutor for the Department of Justice criminal division.

Barr has been somewhat critical of special counsel Mueller's investigation into Russian

meddling in the 2016 elections and has claimed there is more basis to investigate former

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for her role in approving the 2010 acquisition of

U.S. uranium stockpiles by a Russian energy company — a complicated deal that has come

to be known simply as Uranium One.

"To the extent it is not pursuing these matters, the department is abdicating its

responsibility," Barr told the New York Times.

He also supported President Trump's move to fire former FBI Director James Comey, writing

in an Op-Ed in the Washington Post that Trump made the right move.

"Unfortunately, beginning in July, when he announced the outcome of the FBI investigation

into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server while secretary of state, he

crossed a line that is fundamental to the allocation of authority in the Justice Department,"

Barr wrote

in

the 2017 article.

BREAKING, PRESIDENT TRUMP DROPPED HAMMER ON SPECIAL COUNSEL ROBERT MUELLER - Duration: 11:22.

BREAKING, PRESIDENT TRUMP DROPPED HAMMER ON SPECIAL COUNSEL ROBERT MUELLER

President Donald Trump confirmed information for reporters on Friday and then he dropped

a bomb on special counsel Robert Mueller.

Speaking to reporters as he was preparing to board Air Force One he confirmed that he

would appoint William Barr as Attorney general.

He also said he would nominate former Fox News host Heather Nauert as ambassador to

the United Nations.

He did not announce that Chief of staff Gen. John Kelly was resigning or being fired.

But he did tease that he would make a major announcement on Saturday.

"I want to confirm that Bill Barr, one of the most respected jurists in the country,

highly respected lawyer, former attorney general under the Bush Administration, a terrific

man, a terrific person, a brilliant man, I did not know him until recently when I went

through the process of looking at people.

And he was my first choice from day one," the president said.

"Respected by Republicans and respected by Democrats.

He will be nominated for the United States attorney general and hopefully that process

will go very quickly, and I think it will go very quickly.

And I have seen very good things about him even over the last day or so when people thought

it might be him," he said.

"So Barr will be nominated for the United States attorney general position.

I also want to inform you that Heather Nauert, who has done a great job working with Mike

Pompeo and others at the state Department, Heather Nauert will be nominated (as United

Nations ambassador)," he said.

"She's done work with Nikki Haley to replace Nikki at the United Nations.

She's very talented, very smart, very quick, and I think she's going to be respected

by all," President Trump told reporters.

"So Heather Nauert will be nominated for the ambassador to the United Nations.

Those are two very big ones," he said prior to teasing another announcement.

"I have another one for tomorrow I will be announcing at the Army/Navy game.

It will have to do with the joint chiefs of staff and succession.

I look forward to telling you, and I will see you later.

I will see you in Kansas," he said.

But then the president laid a bombshell on Twitter.

"We will be doing a major Counter Report to the Mueller Report.

This should never again be allowed to happen to a future President of

the

United States!" he wrote.
