Rudy Giuliani helps create anti Trump protest website with Twitter typo US news

Arizona web designer seizes on Giuliani mistake to promote site calling Trump a 'traitor'

Arizona web designer seizes on Giuliani mistake to promote site calling Trump a 'traitor'

Rudy Giuliani has accused Twitter of allowing someone to "invade" one of his tweets to spread an anti-Trump message, after the veteran Republican sent a message with a typo.

On 30 November, Giuliani sent a tweet criticising Robert Mueller for issuing an indictment just as Donald Trump was heading to the G20 summit in Buenos Aires. Giuliani said Mueller had done similar in July as Trump left for a meeting with Russian president Vladimir Putin, and that the actions could have been easily taken earlier or later. "Out of control! Supervision please?" declared the former mayor of New York's tweet.

Unfortunately for Giuliani, a lack of spacing between his sentences meant that Twitter automatically detected the phrase G-20.In as a potentially valid web URL operated from India, and turned it into a link. When publishing his tweet, Giuliani did not notice that Twitter had turned it blue, indicating it was clickable.

This was, however, spotted by Jason Velazquez, an Arizona-based website designer, who immediately saw the potential for a prank, and registered the domain. He then made into a real website – one with an anti-Trump message.

When Giuliani discovered this, he again used the social network, declaring that "Twitter allowed someone to invade my text with a disgusting anti-president message." Demonstrating a lack of understanding of how web hyperlinks work, he added: "The same thing – period no space – occurred later and it didn't happen."

Echoing a common cry – sometimes made by Trump himself – that Silicon Valley's digital giants are biased against Conservative voices, Giuliani suggested that Twitter had done this deliberately. "Don't tell me they are not committed card-carrying anti-Trumpers," he said, finishing his tweet with an all-caps plea for "fairness please".

Velazquez's webpage consists of two elements, displayed the message that Giuliani described as "disgusting": "Donald J. Trump is a traitor to our country" and carrying a link to coverage of Mueller's investigation. Velazquez described setting up the site as 15 minutes' work.

For their part, a spokesperson for Twitter categorically denied Giuliani's inference, stating "the accusation that we're artificially injecting something into a tweet is completely false".

Rudy Giuliani's original tweet with the typo and the link to the anti-Trump website has been shared over 16,000 times since it was published. Giuliani has served as President's Trump's lawyer, and also as his cybersecurity advisor.

Trump sends Dow Jones plunging nearly 800 points by tweeting 'I am a tariffs man' raising fears - Duration: 16:17.

Trump sends Dow Jones plunging nearly 800 points by tweeting 'I am a tariffs man' raising fears

U.S. stock markets plummeted Tuesday as a series of tweets from President Donald Trump suggested a trade war with China could resume next year despite claims of a truce and work on a long-term deal between the two countries.

The Dow Jones closed almost 800 points down at 25,027, a loss of 3. 1 per cent of its value, while billions were also wiped off the value of the Nasdaq and the S&P 500, the other two key indices.

The S&P 500 lost 90 points, or 3.2 percent, to 2,700. The Nasdaq fell 283 points, or 3.8 percent, to 7,158.

Trump said in morning tweets that he and Xi would 'probably' have a deal at the end of a 90-day timetable for talks that began on Saturday as he declared himself against free trade.

The declaration sent shockwaves through stock markets already nervous of a downturn and buffeted by fears of a tech slowdown which has seen Apple and other Silicon Valley firms lose billions off their value.

'Unless extended, they will end 90 days from the date of our wonderful and very warm dinner with President Xi in Argentina,' Trump asserted. 'China is supposed to start buying Agricultural product and more immediately.

President Xi and I want this deal to happen, and it probably will.'. He then proclaimed himself to be a 'tariffs man' in direct contradiction to his own White House's assertions that Trump is a free-trader.

'We are right now taking in $billions in Tariffs. MAKE AMERICA RICH AGAIN,' Trump said in messages. 'Let the negotiations begin. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!'.

Trump's tweets sent the market plunging. The Dow fell throughout the morning and was down by more than 700 points by early afternoon, then failed to regain any value. A further fall in value could see the year's gain lost entirely.

Among the firms hit were Boeing and Caterpillar, two major exporters which would have much to lose of trade tensions don't ease.

Bond prices soared sharply, sending yields lower, as traders shoved money into lower-risk investments. The sharp drop in yields hurt banks because it makes it harder to earn money from lending. JPMorgan Chase sank 4.5 percent.

Investors had initially welcomed the truce that the administration said was reached over the weekend in Buenos Aires between Presidents Trump and Xi Jinping. The prospect of a deal sent stocks soaring Monday.

But on Tuesday, after a series of confusing and conflicting words from Trump and senior White House officials, stocks tumbled, with the Dow Jones sinking as much as 800 points.

White House aides have struggled to explain the details of what the two countries actually agreed on. And China has not confirmed that it made most of the concessions that the Trump administration has claimed.

Trump's top trade adviser said Tuesday evening that 'hand-wringing' in the media wasn't necessary even as he admitted that the administration had sowed confusion.

'Maybe that's the fault of us not communicating,' Peter Navarro told Fox News in an appearance on Special Report. 'Maybe that's why I'm here.'.

Among the conflicting assertions that White House officials made was over whether China had actually agreed to drop its 40% tariffs on U.S. autos.

In addition, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said Tuesday on the Fox Business Network that China agreed to buy $1.2 trillion of U.S. products.

But he added, 'if that's real' - raising some doubt - it would close the U.S. trade deficit with China, and 'we have to have a negotiated agreement and have this on paper.'.

Many economists have expressed skepticism that very much could be achieved to bridge the vast disagreements between the two countries in just 90 days.

'The actual amount of concrete progress made at this meeting appears to have been quite limited,' Alec Phillips and other economists at Goldman Sachs wrote in a research note.

'The sense is that there's less and less agreement between the two sides about what actually took place,' said Willie Delwiche, investment strategist at Baird.

'There was a rally in the expectation that something had happened. The problem is that something turned out to be nothing.'.

Other concerns contributed to the stock sell-off, including falling long-term bonds. That suggested that investors expect the U.S. economy to slow, along with global growth, and possibly fall into recession in the coming year or two.

Trump and White House aides promoted the weekend deal as an historic breakthrough that would ease trade tensions and potentially reduce tariffs.

The president's top economic adviser indicated on Monday that the trade truce with China would be called off if an accord doesn't begin to 'firm up' in the next three months as he insisted that Trump would prefer a deal to tariffs.

'At the end of 90 days, they have to show significant progress,' Larry Kudlow told reporters. 'He wants a world with zero tariffs, zero non-tariff barriers and zero subsidies. That's his goal,' the president's National Economic Council director said.

But Kudlow was left with egg on his face as his boss, Trump, slapped down the claim he wanted zero tariffs in a tweet saying: 'Remember I am a tariff man.

The 90-day timetable started Saturday and will stave off a round of tariffs on Beijing that were scheduled to go into effect on Jan. 1, the White House said on Monday.

That was after Kudlow mistakenly claimed Trump would hold off on further action until April. It's by March 1 that the White House has set as the deadline for the Chinese to act.

A statement from after a dinner between Trump and Xi announced a halt in the trade war for three months, with the White House stressing on Monday that it wants to see immediate action.

Kudlow did not outline the consequences of inaction but said, 'They've gotta move quickly on all fronts. 'This is not going to be something where there is soft commitments that get kicked down the road,' Mnuchin said the same day.

Talks with China have fallen apart at other junctures, including a round of talks led by Mnuchin earlier this year.

Trump imposed $200 billion in tariffs on China as a result that he pledged to raise to $500 billion at the beginning of next year unless there's a deal.

Negotiations on the U.S. side are being led by Robert Lighthizer, the president's trade representative, Kudlow said, offering a conflicting account from Mnunchin, who'd claimed earlier in the day that Trump is in charge of talks.

'Nothing will happen without President Trump,' Kudlow explained as he spoke to reporters on the White House's front lawn.

The White House says it is cautiously optimistic after a dinner between Presidents Trump and Xi over the weekend that a deal would come out of the new push.

'The story's always been disappointing,' Kudlow admitted during a press call. 'I'm just saying the history's not been great.'. However, he said, 'I hope it has a happy ending, truly. And we have a lot of things to do.'.

Kudlow assessed during the White House call on Monday afternoon, 'We never ever got close to this. President Trump also said Monday that U. -China relations 'have taken a BIG leap forward' after he and President Xi agreed on the trade truce.

Trump used the name of a Communist Party of China farm reform program that killed tens of millions of people 60 years ago.

The Great Leap Forward was a cornerstone of Chairman Mao Zedong's move toward a socialist economy by requiring farmers to 'collectivize' their property and operations, and by forcing farm workers to take industrial jobs.

Upsetting centuries of agrarian tradition and moving farmers to factory work led to a famine that killed tens of millions of Chinese.

Government officials tried to reverse the trend by instituting farm production quotas, executing some who failed to meet minimum targets. China's economy was devastated.

Trump appeared to be unaware of the significance of his words on Monday, tweeting: 'My meeting in Argentina with President Xi of China was an extraordinary one. Relations with China have taken a BIG leap forward! Very good things will happen.'.

'We are dealing from great strength, but China likewise has much to gain if and when a deal is completed. Level the field!' he wrote.

Minutes later, the president specifically tied his self-congratulation to what he predicted will be a dramatic increase in farm exports from the U.S.

'Farmers will be a a very BIG and FAST beneficiary of our deal with China. They intend to start purchasing agricultural product immediately.

We make the finest and cleanest product in the World, and that is what China wants. Farmers, I LOVE YOU!' he tweeted.

Historians' estimates of the number of Chinese killed by the famine that resulted from the Great leap Forward range from 18 million to 55 million.

Buyers and analysts quickly pointed out on Monday that China's tariffs on U.S. farm produce are still in place, mostly 25 per cent duties on soybeans, corn, sorghum and wheat.

The so-called deal appeared on Monday to be little more than a cease-fire in what had become a protracted tariff war, with Trump and Xi agreeing pull back from an all-out trade war that was threatening world economic growth and had set global investors on edge.

This year Trump imposed an import tax of 25 percent on $50 billion in Chinese products, then hit an additional $200 billion worth of goods with 10 percent tariffs.

Those 10 percent tariffs were scheduled to ratchet up to 25 percent on Jan. 1 if the U.S. and China failed to reach an agreement to at least postpone that move.

In Buenos Aires, Trump agreed to delay the scheduled U.S. tariff increase for 90 days while the two sides negotiate over the administration's complaints related to how Beijing systematically steals trade secrets and forces the U.S.

and other foreign countries to hand over sensitive technology as the price of admission to the vast Chinese market.

In return, China agreed to buy what the White House called a 'not yet agreed upon, but very substantial' amount of U.S. products to help narrow America's gaping trade deficit with China.

If the Chinese did eventually increase such purchases, it would be warmly welcomed in the U.S. Farm Belt, where producers of soybeans and other crops have been hurt by Beijing's retaliatory tariffs.

Trump tweeted late Sunday that 'China has agreed to reduce and remove tariffs on cars coming into China from the U.S.

Currently the tariff is 40%.' There was no Chinese announcement about possible tariff cuts, and the Ministry of Commerce in Beijing didn't immediately respond to questions.

Beijing cut import duties on foreign autos to 15 percent in July but added a 25 percent penalty for U. -made vehicles the following month in response to Trump's tariff hikes.

Kudlow says that Xi indicated that 'large numbers of transactions' of agricultural, energy and industrial commodities would be accompanied by tariff reductions soon. He put a ballpark estimate at $1. 2 billion, although he noted they are private sector transactions.

In Tone Deaf Tweet, Eric Trump Criticizes George & Kellyanne Conway's Marriage - Duration: 3:36.

Eric Trump is apparently out there trying to prove that not only can he be just as dumb

as his father on twitter, but he is also the dumbest of the Trump children.

On Monday evening, Eric Trump tweeted out the following: "Of all the ugliness in politics,

the utter disrespect George Conway shows toward his wife, her career, place of work, and everything

she's fought so hard to achieve.

Might top them all, Kellyanepolls is great person, and frankly, his actions are horrible."

Now, this is in response to George Conway earlier in the day responding to one of Donald

Trump's tweets, pointing out these specific portion of the US legal code that Trump was

breaking by, congratulating Roger Stone for not flipping on him.

Eric Trump got mad that daddy was being called out and rightfully so, being called out.

Um, so he decides to go after Kellyanne Conway and George Conway's marriage, saying that

George does not respect her.

George is bad for women.

George is ruining his marriage.

Well, luckily the good folks, uh, on twitter decided to hammer Eric Trump for this and

repeatedly pointed out the fact that his father is cheated on every single wife he has ever

had, that his brother cheated on his wife with a Fox News host whom he is now dating.

And the fact that if you want to talk about who's bad for women or not treating women

fairly, then once again, look at your father, look at your brother, look at everybody else

in your entire family and for the most part Republicans across the board.

So yeah, Eric Trump got his come upins immediately upon tweeting this out.

But here's the thing, there's actually been plenty of stories done.

You know, reporters.

I've actually spent time with boats.

George and Kellyanne Conway together at their home and they're married.

Seems fine.

Yeah, they disagree about Donald Trump.

George has made it clear that he does not like Donald Trump because he doesn't like

what Trump says.

Now when it comes to the policies that Trump has put in place, when it comes to the packing

of the courts, George is cool with that.

George has no problem with that.

George is still a Republican, a hardcore conservative who thinks that corporations should have all

the power and the people should have none.

There is no difference in policy between those two human beings just like there's no difference

in policy between George and Kellyanne and that's why their marriage for the moment probably

is okay.

He just doesn't happen to like where his wife works or who she works for.

And as Eric Trump, if he ever spent any time with his actual wife would know, uh, most

spouses kind of tend to not like the other spouse's job or the other spouse's boss.

It's a common thing.

It doesn't lead to marital problems, you know, as long as it's not creating fights, it's

just, yeah, your boss seems like a jerk because you'd go home.

You talk about your boss, you only say the bad things, right?

It happens.

It is a common complaint in marriages, but it's not usually one that ends them.

But if Eric Trump wants to go out there and throw stones, he needs to remember that he

lives in a glass house and he is not going to get away with trying to paint some other

man in this country as being negative or bad for women.

When he comes from the family that wrote the book on how to be horrible towards women and

how to disrespect the marriage.

Trump Is Openly Tweeting Out His Obstruction Of Justice - Duration: 3:29.

You know, for somebody who loves to Brag about how intelligent they are, Donald Trump sure

does the dumbest things on twitter.

On Monday, Donald Trump tweeted out what is very obviously obstruction of justice and

possibly witness tampering as well.

Here is what Donald Trump tweeted out.

He said, I will never testify against Trump.

This statement was recently made by Roger Stone, essentially stating that he will not

be forced by a rogue and out of control prosecutor to make up lies and stories about president

Trump.

Nice to know.

Some people still have guts now.

I had to do the finger air quotes there because he put president Trump and guts in quotes.

Not sure why, but yes, the folks on twitter had a field day with that, but anyway, as

George Conway husband of Kellyanne pointed out, this is a very clear violation of 18

us code 15, oh, three to 15, 12, which states it is illegal to make corrupt or forceful

attempts to influence, intimidate or impede any grant or petite jurior or officer in any,

in or have any court of the United States or officer who may be serving.

At an examination or other proceeding before any United States, magistrate judge or other

committing magistrate in the discharge of his duty, Trump did exactly that with the

tweet he was letting people know he was letting other witnesses know that if you do not testify

against him, he is going to praise you and if something bad happens to you as we've seen

through tweets in the past, Trump may flow to pardon around for you made dangle that

in front of your face as a good reason for you to not go and testify against him.

His obstruction of justice is so blatant and so obvious and at this point so public that

it would be shocking if Robert Mueller does not at least come back and a final report

with multiple counts of obstruction against the president of the United States.

Now, here's the problem with that, Republicans are not going to vote to convict in the Senate

on obstruction of justice.

You gotta have more than that, so hopefully the obstruction of justice is just the icing

on the cake, as it very well should be.

Because why would you pray somebody for not testifying against you if they had nothing

to testify against you about, and that's what Republicans seem to be missing here.

You know everybody's out there praising Roger Stone from the right because he's not going

to testify against him.

Shouldn't you be concerned that he knows something that would be of value in testimony against

the president.

That's concerning you, idiots.

Trump sitting there praising him for not doing that is pretty much more evidence that he

has something worthwhile to say, but Republicans don't ever look past.

They don't ever peel back the surface and see what something actually means.

President Trump sure as hell doesn't, and he sure as hell didn't take the time to think.

You know what?

Maybe if I tweet this out, not only is it going to possibly land me in prison, but it's

going to also imply that Roger Stone knows a lot that he couldn't be telling, but because

he's so gutsy and courageous, he's not going to spill the beans.

This doesn't end well for the president of the United States, and hopefully at the end

of all this, this moron is going to tweet himself right out of office.

Looks Like Michael Flynn Gave Up EVERYTHING On Trump - Duration: 4:10.

On Tuesday evening, these sentencing memo from Robert Mueller, the Special Prosecutor

regarding Michael Flynn, Donald Trump's former national security advisor for his campaign

and his transition team was submitted to the court and it was also made public and in a

heavily redacted memo, Mueller and his team requested no jail time whatsoever for Michael

Flynn, who had previously pleaded guilty to knowingly and willfully making incorrect statements,

false statements to investigators, and here's why.

Mueller does not want Michael Flynn to have to go to prison because Flynn has been a very

cooperative witness.

Mueller has spoken to him according to these filings more than, excuse me, right at 19

times.

Nineteen times Flynn has sat down with Robert Mueller, and based on what we know from these

memos told him everything that he wanted to know.

The filings also mentioned that Flynn has actually helped out in more than one investigation,

a three separate investigation, specifically that Michael Flynn has been advising on, including

one criminal investigation that these special prosecutor's office is handling as well as

the potential Russian collusion investigation.

Here's why all of this matters.

There's two big things.

First and foremost, the reason this should terrify Trump first and foremost is because

obviously Michael Flynn is handed over every single thing that he knows.

He has been very cooperative.

Mueller and his team have been able to verify what he is told them, which is another important

piece of the puzzle and therefore because he's given them everything because he's been

honest, because he is very cooperative, they do not believe that he should go to jail.

Now, that's the second part because it's not just from Michael Flynn.

It's not just saying, all right, well, this guy helped us out.

Let's let them off the hook.

Right now.

We've got several other potential witnesses in this investigation who were refusing to

testify, refusing to cooperate.

Some who are kind of on the fence about whether or not they're going to Mueller just sent

a huge gift to all of those people saying, look what could happen.

Yeah, this guy even pleaded guilty to crimes that would result in him going to jail, but

because he was such a good little witness, he's not going to spend a day behind bars

if I have anything to do with it.

That's important.

That is signaling to all of these witnesses that guess what?

You don't have to take your chance and hope that Donald Trump's going to pardon you.

I might be able to do that myself by recommending zero days in jail for you, so why not take

a chance and come sit down and have an honest, truthful talk with me and we'll see where

that goes.

That's what should terrify Donald Trump even more than those heavily redacted pages that

indicate that flint is given Mueller, everything that Mueller could possibly want, and it also

in on a little bit of hope here.

It also gives these people hope out there who are hoping that this investigation could

take down Trump or really just shake things up for the man to the point where he resides.

It shows that Mueller is.

I've said 100 times.

No, so much more than we do right.

I mean, we didn't know most of this.

We didn't know there were multiple different investigations including criminal investigations.

I mean, to an extent we did, but we didn't know it this deep, so that's why this is important.

This is only a small part of what Mueller and his team have.

So trust the process.

Be a little patient, even though it's hard because with people like Flynn flipping with

Cohen now coming in and flipping as well, things are starting to look really, really

bad for Donald Trump.

MASSIVE ANNOUNCEMENT DONALD TRUMP BECOMES MUELLER'S WORST NIGHTMARE - Duration: 14:51.

MASSIVE ANNOUNCEMENT DONALD TRUMP BECOMES MUELLER'S WORST NIGHTMARE

Mueller thought he was closing in, but Donald is 5 steps ahead of him.

For a long time, Democrats have claimed the Mueller's probe would fix Trump for good.

In recent weeks, even Mueller signaled he was close to dropping a bombshell.

The news that Cohen—Trump's former lawyer—plead guilty to lying to Congress had the leftwing

media all giddy.

But it looks like Mueller flashed his cards, proving he was bluffing all along.

While Cohen did falsely testify before Congress, it looks like the real details coming out

have foiled Mueller's plans.

In fact, the real information only further proves Trump's innocence.

From Real Clear Politics:

Contrary to media speculation that Robert Mueller is closing in on President Trump,

the special prosecutor's plea deal with Trump's personal lawyer Michael Cohen offers

further evidence that the Trump campaign did not collude with Russians during the 2016

election, according to congressional investigators and former prosecutors…

On page 7 of the statement of criminal information filed against Cohen, which is separate from

but related to the plea agreement, Mueller mentions that Cohen tried to email Russian

President Vladimir Putin's office on Jan. 14, 2016, and again on Jan. 16, 2016.

But Mueller, who personally signed the document, omitted the fact that Cohen did not have any

direct points of contact at the Kremlin, and had resorted to sending the emails to a general

press mailbox.

Sources who have seen these additional emails point out that this omitted information undercuts

the idea of a "back channel" and thus the special counsel's collusion case.

SHARE if you think President Trump is completely innocent!

So, not only is Trump exonerated (even more) by these reports, but we see the Mueller tried

to deliberately omit those details that would clear the president's name.

Um… witch hunt?

Anyone, anyone?

Oh, and that's not all:

Page 2 of the same criminal information document holds additional exculpatory evidence for

Trump, sources say.

It quotes an August 2017 letter from Cohen to the Senate intelligence committee in which

he states that Trump "was never in contact with anyone about this [Moscow Project] proposal

other than me."

Mueller has tried to hype up his probe and make Trump guilty by association.

Perhaps he wants to extend it even further and rake in the tax dollars.

But the hard facts prove that not even Cohen communicated with Putin.

He couldn't even get the man's direct email!

And, regarding the Russian tower deal, Trump only spoke with his lawyer.

No one in Russia.

So much for this collusion theory.

When is the liberal media going to admit this Russian conspiracy is a lot of hot air?

Americans have known that for two years.

Looks

like Mueller's plans

are

about

to crash

and burn.

Trump's Plan To Crush CNN - Duration: 4:01.

Some slam it by calling it Trump TV.

But the Prez calls it America's own Worldwide News Network.

"CNN is spreading fake news," says Trump in back-to-back tweets, "something's got to be

done like starting our own Worldwide Network."

Well, that's state-run media, a Bolshevist dream.

Yet,with a destructive left-wing press, something's got to be done, and Trump keeps beating the

drum.

[Clip: "Fake news, CNN, fake."

"They can make anything bad because they are the fake, fake, disgusting news."

"CNN is fake news, I don't take questions from CNN."

"The far left media has spread terrible lies and stories about the Trump Administration

and the tens of millions people who make up our great movement.

The greatest political movement in the history of our country.

The greatest.

The greatest."]

If tunnel vision sees from the far left media, then no surprise that CNN's top guns, Jeff

Zucker, Doug Shapiro, David Levy, see eye to eye.

Add to the mix, Wolf Blitzer, Jacob Tapper, John Berman, then one wonders if perhaps a

chosen few shade their scoops with a biased twist.

Here's what Trump's got to do.

Nationalize the news.

Then bid out network venues on short term contracts to broadcasters having contrasting

political and cultural views.

This way, a diversification of discussion and debate is safe.

If not, we're stuck with you know who, pushing their own agenda, and who resort to mind manipulation

that molds opinions, suspicions, and, like Trump says, sows anger and division.

[Clip: "Yesterday's visit to Pittsburg was about coming together as a nation to comfort

and to heal.

After this day of unity and togetherness, I came home, and sadly, turned on the news

and watched as the far left media once again used tragedy to sow anger and division."

"Boo!

Boo!

CNN sucks!

CNN sucks!

CNN sucks!"

"They're pushing people apart.

It was fake and it was make-believe what they said.

I came home, looked forward to seeing it, and it was sad.

And when we talk about division this is a big part of the division, right there."]

Crush the cartel, President Trump.

There's no other way out of this 'media messaging' fray.

Crush the cartel by nationalizing the news as a public/private entity; launch a bidding

process that constrains broadcasters to criteria that ensures factual news within consigned

contrasting spheres of political and cultural views; then create a "Citizens Fact-Check

Force" that ensures accountability.

The First Amendment is then not infringed, while propaganda hits the skids.

The few gives way to the many, and Trump's legacy ends the supremacy.

You've got a mandate, Mr Prez.

Crush CNN and its fake news friends.
