from escalating at least for a while go to you and he with the details is the

trade war between the world's two largest economies finally coming to an

their leaders met in Argentina the White House released a statement saying that

on January 1st President Trump will leave tariffs on 200 billion US dollars

worth of Chinese goods at 10 percent this means he's holding off on his

previous vowed to raise the tariffs to 25 percent the statement added that

Beijing agreed to by an unspecified but very substantial amount of agricultural

energy industrial and other products from the US to reduce the trade

imbalance Trane ago she ations are expected to continue on tough issues

including top US concerns related to forced technology transfers and

intellectual property the White House statement says that if the two countries

cannot come up with an agreement in the next 90 days the 10 percent errors will

be raised to 25 percent Chinese state councilor in foreign minister Wang Yi

also confirmed Saturday that the two leaders agreed to stop imposing

additional tariffs on each other Wang said the discussions were very

positive and constructive meanwhile according to Bloomberg economics the

Trump administration's tariffs at twenty five percent would have meant a drag on

China's GDP growth of 0.9 percentage points a year the 10 percent tariff will

mean it takes a hit of just half a percentage point either way the trade

war affects South Korea as well because many local companies rely greatly on

exports to these economies there are still risks though since the terms can

go up after 90 days Carini arirang news

Trump says China had agreed to reduce tariffs on U.S. cars - Duration: 2:07.

US President Donald Trump says China agreed to reduce and remove tariffs on

American cars as a result of a trade war ceasefire the tone of engagement over

confrontation is a welcome change for the global economy overall but some

remain cautious that the truce may only exist to help buy time

Kim Jiyeon zooms in on the issue

following the trade war ceasefire between Washington and Beijing announced

over the weekend US president Donald Trump hails sakru's once again through

his favorite means of communication social media President Trump tweeted on

Sunday that China had agreed to reduce and remove tariffs on US cars below the

current 40 percent level that we carried the same promising Tony used on board

Air Force One when he told reporters on his way back home that it's an

incredible deal that would have a positive impact on farming referring to

the trade truce he reached with his Chinese counterpart President Xi

Jingping on the sidelines of the g20 summit in

Argentina Washington agreed to delay a tariff increase on more than 200 billion

u.s. dollars whether Chinese imports to 25% from 10 percent originally planned

to go into effect on January 1st while China agreed to resume purchases

of US farm and energy commodities the two leaders also agreed to negotiate

over structural changes to China's policies on technology transfers

intellectual property and cyber theft however concerns are still hovering over

the notion on how the two biggest economies will iron out their

differences including ways to narrow their trade imbalance as they are

already presenting different renderings of their agreement the White House said

90 days of truce was agreed upon by Washington and Beijing to settle such

differences adding that if no deal is reached tariff rates will be raised to

25% as previously planned Chinese officials as was multiple state-run

media outlets have made no mention of those specific concerns or the 90-day

deadline raising speculation that both nations could end up locking horns again

Trump's remarks on second summit with Kim signal revival of denuclearization talks - Duration: 1:51.

U.S. President Donald Trump has confirmed that he's still ready to hold a second summit

with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in the next few months.

Does this suggest there is progress on denuclearization talks at all?

We'll look at that question further, but first our Park Hee-jun reports on Trump's latest

remarks.

U.S. President Donald Trump has reaffirmed that his second summit with North Korean leader

Kim Jong-un will probably take place early next year.

Speaking to reporters on his return trip from the G20 summit in Argentina,... Trump said

he expects the meeting to happen in January or February.

He also said three locations are being considered for the summit,... adding it will be held

(quote) "within plane distance."

Although he did not elaborate on whose plane he was referring to,... it raises speculation

the next Kim-Trump summit will again take place in Asia.

Asked whether Kim would visit the U.S., President Trump only said he will "at some point."

Kim Jong-un's private jet is only capable of flying to Asian countries that are not

so far from the North.

The remarks bring countries such as Vietnam, Mongolia, or Indonesia under the spotlight,...

as all three have North Korean embassies.

President Trump's comments are seen as a positive sign amid a stall in the denuclearization

talks between Pyeongyang and Washington.

Watchers say it reflects the Trump administration's unwavering commitment to maintaining dialogue

with the North.

The South Korean government has also taken the wheel in finding a way to restart the

two sides' negotiations,... as seen through the Moon-Trump summit last week.

Where working-level negotiations failed,... top-down negotiations are now adding momentum

to North Korea diplomacy.

Now it's up to the North Korean leader to make a decision.

There's a short period of time until the proposed date for the next North Korea-U.S. summit,...

and experts say only Kim Jong-un's will can make it happen.

Trump Supporters, Division, and the Downfall of America - Duration: 7:36.

I've made a point in my short online blogging career of not getting involved in Trump's

America.

That is, I have made very few comments, neither negative nor positive, about the current administration

of US President Donald Trump.

However, I made a rather offhand comment about Trump in one of my recent videos.

Specifically, I said that it wouldn't surprise me if Trump sent in a team of marines to take

care of the tribal aggressors on North Sentinel Island.

To be fair, he didn't do this.

It's just a thought that crossed my mind.

Other podcasters have said similar things.

The comment might have been inappropriate.

It might have been ridiculous — but I had the right to say it.

Quickly I found out that if you dare mention Trump in an unfavourable light, prepare to

be attacked.

Ardent Trump supporters do not like to hear dissenting voices.

One such commenter even said that he'd given a thumbs down to all my videos, unsubscribed,

and blocked my account.

Fair enough, he has the right to do so.

But isn't that a rather disproportionate response?

I made one comment, that never turned out to be true, and the Trump supporter felt that

it was worthy of the online equivalent of "disowning" me.

And that's the focus in this recording — How far will fervent supporters of Trump go?

I'll make the argument that vehement support for any leader or candidate is not good for

a country and will only bring about division, resentment, and the ultimate downfall of that

society.

Just a bit of a disclaimer first.

I don't really care whether you support or don't support Trump.

You can support who you like — I presume you are lucky enough to live in a free society

where you have the freedom to so.

I have nothing against Trump supporters, nor any other supporter for that matter.

As long as that support doesn't lead to others getting hurt, or prevents others from

having the same freedom to support the candidate of their choice.

Secondly, I'm Australian.

Who Americans choose as their president is up to Americans.

It's not my place to say who or who you shouldn't elect.

If you want a gun-toting narcissist in office, that's up to you.

I would never argue against the right of Americans, or any citizen of any country for that matter,

to choose their own leader.

However, I am going to argue that we are free to criticise your decision.

That's the very essence of a free and democratic society.

The moment that people are not allowed to criticise their leaders and/or their supporters,

is the moment that tyranny sets in.

All countries need an opposing voice.

Unopposed leaders eventually become dictators.

And just one final point before we get into it.

If an American was to criticise the current Australian leadership, I would wholeheartedly

welcome it!

Not because I necessarily disagree with the current Australian leaders, but because it's

good to have an external dissenting voice to keep our leaders honest and to alert us

of potential wrongdoings.

It's beneficial for all of us to understand the benefit of external criticism.

China are famous for telling other countries to quit meddling in their domestic affairs.

This might seem okay at a distance, but delve deeper and you can see that the current Chinese

regime are murdering people who publicly speak out against the government.

China is the world's most active death penalty country.

Now that we've got all that out of the way, I would like to comment on the ardent Trump

supporters that I have had the pleasure of dealing with in the last couple of weeks.

I've found that in general, they support everything Trump has to say — no matter

how outrageous.

If somebody disagrees with them or their leader, even just to a minor extent, they will immediately

dismiss that person as "left-wing", a "communist", a "social justice warrior",

or any other belittling remark.

The Trump supporter does not want a dissenting voice.

They want everyone to agree with them.

They want their leader to go unopposed.

And that's dangerous.

That's dangerous for the individual.

That's dangerous for society.

And that's dangerous for America.

The fervent Trump supporter thinks they are helping America.

But in actuality, they're following a line that all authoritarian governments before

them have followed.

Never say anything negative about your own candidate.

Always reject the opposition and make them look extreme in their views.

Use pejorative labels where necessary and a propaganda campaign that leads to wide public

support to achieve the ultimate goal — the criminalisation of the opposition.

This allows the current leadership to enact emergency measures to deal with such individuals.

They inevitably rescind individual liberties, remove rights of assembly and freedom of press,

and allow for the indefinite detention of provocateurs without charge or court order.

This is pretty much exactly what happened in Nazi Germany.

If you truly believe that Trump is the saviour of America and has all the answers, and you're

willing to accept his policies without question, then you have to ask yourself one important

question — Is this really what you want?

— The unquestionable support of a single leader.

I don't think that's really what you want.

Maybe you think it's the only way to bring about change, but ultimately, a single leader

without opposition will be the downfall of your country.

Trump is only a man.

He's not infallible.

He makes mistakes.

He says inappropriate things.

He uses Twitter to insult other world leaders!

In a word, he's human.

But then again, so are we all.

We all make mistakes.

We all say inappropriate things.

Many of use Twitter to insult people.

So knowing all of this, how can you possibly agree with everything Trump has to say?

He's not the saviour — he's a business-savvy individual who has found an opportunity to

become the "most powerful man on Earth".

He's used his money and his connections to become a world leader.

He knew what the people wanted, and used rhetoric to stir up division.

And with division, comes power.

He knows this.

It's what Hitler did.

It's what Mussolini did.

To some extent, it's what Putin is doing to Russia now.

Divide the people in order to conquer them — "divide et impera".

It's as old as politics and war.

It's okay to be a Donald Trump supporter.

It's okay to be a Joe Biden supporter.

But certainly, it's not okay to blindly follow your candidate regardless of their

actions and what they have to say.

Blindly following anybody ultimately leads to fanaticism and dictatorship.

None of us would want to live under the rule of an authoritarian, single-party regime.

Look at China.

Look at North Korea.

People have lost almost all political freedom.

That's not good for their countries.

It's created a culture of fear and despair.

China may have a growing economy and military, but at what cost?

If a Chinese citizen made a video like this, but instead talked about Xi Jinping, he would

be locked up, or even executed.

Opposing voices are not welcome.

Luckily as a Trump supporter, you can disagree with some of the things he has to say, and

not go to jail.

You can express your own individual opinions without fear of reprisal.

You can concede that the opposition's policy is better, but still remain a supporter of

Trump.

Rigorous debate is good and "keeps the bastards honest" as we like to say in Australia.

It's not black and white, nor should it be.

Trump supporters claim that they just want to make America great again, but by blindly

following Trump and dismissing all opposition, that's not making America great.

That's not democracy.

That's not freedom.

That's the lead-up to a dictatorship.

You can dislike this video.

You can get your friends to dislike all my videos.

You can unsubscribe and block my account.

But don't forget — democracy needs dissent.

Without dissent, there is only tyranny.

Don't let it happen.

Support America by questioning its leaders.

Make sure Trump knows who's in control — the American people.

First Lady Melania Trump has been much more affectionate with Donald Trump than usual this month, & HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY learned why

We could hardly believe it when Donald Trump, 72, and Melania Trump, 48, sweetly held hands on a number of occasions throughout the month of November, and now, HollywoodLife has EXCLUSIVELY learned what spurred their newfound affection

"Melania is always in a way better frame of mind when it's the Holidays, and she automatically feels more loving and warm towards Donald, as she does the rest of her family too at this time of the year," a source close to the First Lady shared

"Melania is a huge fan of the Holidays, especially Christmas, and ever since she was a little girl it has always been an important and big deal for her, and that's only intensified since becoming First Lady," the source added

While the holidays are bringing Melania and Donald closer than usual, the source also revealed that despite what people think, they are the ultimate team year-round

"It's not just becoming filled with the Christmas spirit that's spurring Melania on to being more affectionate towards Donald these past few weeks—they've always had this 'us against the world' mentality, and whenever Melania feels Donald is most under fire and attack is when she rallies and really comes through for him," the source continued

"Contrary to what many people seem to think, Melania and Donald's marriage is actually genuinely built on love, and when the chips are down, and Donald's back is against the wall, Melania is at her most loyal and fierce

" HollywoodLife has reached out to Melania's rep for comment.  We saw Trump and Melania hold hands when they returned to the U

S. from Paris back on Nov. 12. Then again, on Nov. 19, the couple gave a rare PDA display, as the 2018 White House Christmas tree arrived to their home

On that day, Melania greeted the tree with a smile on her face, while tightly intertwining her fingers with the president's

Aww! Only time will tell whether these PDA displays keep up, but it's nice to see the pair sharing some seemingly less awkward moments than usual
