Trump news on Youtube Dec 15 2018

And finally, tonight, some good news.

While President Trump is obviously the subject of numerous investigations and lawsuits at

the moment, one of the most important cases against the president has flown largely under

the radar and that would be the lawsuit against the president for violating the emoluments

clause of the US Constitution.

Now, according to the emoluments clause, the President of the United States is not allowed

to accept any gifts or money from foreign officials in any form.

Since Trump has not divested from his companies and still receive the profits, any foreign

official staying on one of his properties is essentially paying the president an emolument.

Thanks to a slew of recent rulings by district judges, the suits against the president for

violating the emoluments clause can proceed.

And in the weeks since this announcement, hundreds of subpoenas have been issued to

Trump properties demanding information about the president's finances and his business

profits.

If the president is found to have violated the emoluments clause that he stands very

little chance of facing any actual punishment.

But what could happen instead is that he would be forced to fully divest from his properties,

stop recieving any and all profits from the Trump organization, and he could no longer

profit off being the President of the United States, which is exactly what needs to happen.

The president has clearly been using his office for personal gain, but if these suits are

successful, he may finally have to choose between the money that he loves so much and

the country that he claims to love so much.

DONALD TRUMP BLEW THE WHISTLE ON ROBERT MUELLER'S WORST CRIME - Duration: 13:10.

DONALD TRUMP BLEW THE WHISTLE ON ROBERT MUELLER'S WORST CRIME

Robert Mueller was appointed as the special counsel in the Russia investigation for one

reason only.

And that was to dig up something – anything – the swamp could use to impeach the President.

But Trump is fighting back and blew the whistle on Mueller's worst crime with two tweets.

Bloomberg politics recently broke a story that a source familiar with the investigation

revealed Mueller was going to speed up his investigation into Russian collusion and could

produce indictments by the fall.

Bloomberg reported:

"Special Counsel Robert Mueller is preparing to accelerate his probe into possible collusion

between Donald Trump's presidential campaign and Russians who sought to interfere in the

2016 election, according to a person familiar with the investigation."

The article listed 13 former and current Trump officials that Mueller may haul in on charges.

Currently, Mueller is preparing for trials in Virginia and Washington, D.C. against former

Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort for financial crimes that predated his work for

President Trump.

But President Trump threw a flag on Mueller's investigation when he tweeted:

"When is Bob Mueller going to list his Conflicts of Interest?

Why has it taken so long?

Will they be listed at the top of his $22,000,000 Report…And what about the 13 Angry Democrats,

will they list their conflicts with Crooked H?

How many people will be sent to jail and……

….persecuted on old and/or totally unrelated charges (there was no collusion and there

was no obstruction of the no collusion)…And what is going on in the FBI & DOJ with Crooked

Hillary, the DNC and all of the lies?

A disgraceful situation!"

The number of conflict of interests on Mueller's team is outrageous.

One of the prosecutors – Andrew Weissman – attended Hillary Clinton's 2016 Election

Night victory party.

Another Mueller investigator – Jeannie Rhee – did legal work for the Clinton Foundation.

Rhee also has forked over $16,000 in campaign contributions since 2008, including $5,400

– the legal maximum allowed – to Hillary Clinton's Presidential campaign.

James Quarles has donated $33,000 to political candidates, with the overwhelming majority

being lavished on Democrats.

Mueller team member Kyle Freeny is a former Justice Department official who defended Obama's

illegal executive amnesty in court.

And Mueller himself is a walking conflict of interest.

When James Comey was Deputy Attorney General, he formed a bond with Mueller who was then

the FBI Director.

The two were described as "brothers in arms."

Now Mueller is tasked with making a criminal case out of his friend being fired.

It's an outrageous conflict of interest and an abuse of prosecutorial power.

Trump is correct to blow the whistle on this nonsense investigation.

Critics are wondering what Mueller has been doing for the last year.

Investigating Russian election interference was his mandate.

If his investigation has not produced any results for over a year, why is it still going

on?

And given the rampant conflicts of interest on the Mueller team, fair-minded Americans

would just dismiss his findings as nothing more than partisan hackery.

Rudy Giuliani Says Trump's Crimes Are OK Because "Nobody Got Killed" - Duration: 6:59.

Well, we knew it was only a matter of time before Republicans came out and said, the

Donald Trump's crimes really aren't that big of a deal.

People have been predicting this for months, and Rudy Giuliani, Donald Trump's personal

lawyer.

No, not the one who just got three years in prison.

The current lawyer for Donald Trump said this week to the daily beast that Donald Trump's

crimes are no big deal.

In fact, this is his exact quote, a nobody got killed.

Nobody got robbed.

This was not a big crime.

So according to this man that allegedly went to law school and allegedly has passed the

bar, if you don't kill somebody and you don't rob somebody not, not a crime, is that.

Is that really the argument you're trying to make here, Rudy Giuliani, because if it

is, there are thousands upon thousands upon thousands of inmates in the United States

who would also like to use that defense to get released from prison.

Not to mention the fact that would also mean we need to go ahead and open up the doors

and your little migrant detention facilities because those people haven't killed anybody.

They didn't rob anybody in.

Technically they only committed misdemeanors if they crossed the border illegally.

Trump committed a felony and you're trying to write that off.

Hell, we need to rework the entire criminal justice system based on Rudy Giuliani's reasoning

here.

So if you're in prison right now and you didn't kill somebody and you didn't rob somebody

in the eyes of Giuliani, you're free to go.

That's what he's telling us right now.

Now here's the thing again, everybody predicted this was going to happen, but it signifies

what's happening with Donald Trump's defense right now.

They can no longer argue that the man did not commit a crime.

That's important.

That is the most important thing right now.

So instead they're trying to downplay and say that that crime wasn't that bad.

It's not like each chop somebody's head off, right?

I mean, come on.

There is much worse crimes out there.

Then campaign finance violations and multiple campaign finance violations and obstruction

of justice and possible conspiracy to a subvert campaign.

Finance laws, right?

That's not murder.

No.

Giuliani listened and listened.

Well, okay.

There's more than two laws in the United States.

There's not just a law saying you can't kill somebody in a law that says you can't rob

somebody.

We have a very complex criminal justice system here in the United States and to an extent

it is very much broken, but when it comes to the law that your client broke, it is black

and white.

He knew it, he broke it, he didn't care, and it's your job to defend him and if you want

to walk into that courtroom one day and say that, come on, Jerry, he didn't kill a man.

Let's all get out of here.

Yeah, that's not gonna.

Go over very well.

Certainly not with the jury, not with the judge, and probably not even with your client.

And also, quick reminder here, you don't have to say anything because all of these little

excerpts that you give to the media, all your tweets, all your interviews that can be used

by prosecutors in a courtroom to signal that you knew your client committed a crime.

So my best advice is that you just kind of need to shut your mouth if you want to be

able to actually help your client.

Now, personally, I don't want you to be able to help your client and I don't think you

can help your client.

I don't think if you had kept your mouth shut this entire time, you'd be helping your client

because you're that bad app, the law, but for the love of God, you are really making

things so much worse for this man.

And I can't imagine what is going to happen to you and your reputation when you personally

send

this

defense

down

the drain.

Trump Halts Research Into Cure for HIV: Dec 14 Debrief - Duration: 3:01.

The Trump administration just blocked research into a possible cure for HIV.

Officials in Bermuda and Brazil are seeking new ways to prevent LGBTQ equality, but there's

good news on the horizon in Botswana and Taiwan.

And as the year comes to a close, we're looking ahead to LGBTQ advances and red flags

in 2019.

We'll have the week's top LGBTQ news & how it affects you on Weekly Debrief.

Weekly Debrief is made possible by everyone who pledges a dollar or more a month on Patreon.

Head over to patreon.com/mattbaume or click the link in the description to check out the

rewards available to backers.

Researchers in Montana have identified a way that HIV might be prevented from taking hold

in the body.

They were due to begin trials of a new antibody this fall -- but it's just come to light

that the Department of Health and Human services has put an end to that research, because it

involved embryo tissue.

Even though the tissue was obtained legally through abortions, that's apparently too

much for this administration, and used that as justification for shutting the study down.

HHS claims that this is just a "pause" in the research.

But you can't just freeze medical studies like this and then pick up exactly where you

left off.

Even if the study was allowed to go ahead, it would take at least a year to get back

to where it was when the administration stopped it.

And in the meantime, more people will suffer, waiting for a cure.

In Brazil, newly installed fascist president Jair Bolsonaro is shutting down the country's

human rights ministry.

In its place will be a new office, run by a national religious figure, that will monitor

minorities and LGBTQ folks.

And the government of Bermuda is pursuing a last-ditch effort to block marriage equality.

It's likely to fail, but it means more months of delays before citizens can get equal rights.

Botswana has set a date for a hearing to end the country's criminalization of homosexuality.

Mark your calendar for March of 2019 for that.

Also in March, Taiwan is expected to introduce a marriage equality bill at long last.

Although voters there rejected equal rights for LGBTQ citizens, legislators are forging

ahead with reforms that would make Taiwan the first country in Asia with the freedom

to marry.

And finally, civil rights groups are looking ahead to likely LGBTQ legislation in the US

in 2019.

New York, Ohio, Virginia, and Florida are likely to see debate on non-discrimination

measures.

And lawmakers in Georgia and Texas will probably introduce turn-away-the-gays and bathroom

bills.

Again.

Among the groups monitoring possible legislation is Freedom for All Americans.

This week's action item is to connect with them at FreedomForAllAmericans.org.

There's a litigation tracker there to keep you informed, and you can sign up for crucial

updates.

Melania Trump Accuses Media Outlets Of Using The Trump Name To Further Their Careers - Duration: 4:39.

Earlier this week, Melania Trump gave an interview to Fox News, Sean Hannity, where she talked

about the fact that she's angry at the media, much like her husband, because there are a

bunch of opportunists.

In fact, she's mad that they are using the name Trump, whether it's Donald, Melania,

Ivanka, Don Jr, or little Eric.

They're using the Trump name to further their own career to further their own cause.

They're piggybacking off that name, Trump, just to get a little more exposure because

they believe they can get something out of using that name.

Now, this may have been one of the most tone deaf interviews Sean Hannity has ever conducted

because if there's anybody who's using the Trump name to further themselves, it's Melania.

I mean, look right now we have ample evidence.

Your husband's even admitted that he's just cheats on you constantly, constantly, and

you're just totally cool with that.

Why?

Because you want that last name because you want that money and I hate to have to even

say that about you, but you're a horrible human being.

So really, I don't feel any remorse for having to say it because let's not forget that Melania

Trump, along with her husband many years ago, was avidly pushing the birther conspiracy

against Barack Obama.

Melania Trump may seem nice when she sits and does these interviews, but she is not.

She is absolutely a rancid, horrible human being.

And if her husband wasn't sitting on probably a couple billion dollars, she wouldn't have

put up with all the bullshit that he's pulled and bullshit that he is actually admitted

to.

Now we know he had these affairs and if he had these, the likelihood of him having even

more is incredibly high.

She knows about it.

She just doesn't care.

It's the same woman that recoils whenever he touches her.

We've all seen video of that.

She doesn't like him at all, but she stays there because having that Trump name at the

end of her first name is hugely beneficial to her and whatever the hell her current career

may be.

She is the opportunist.

She is the one who is cashing in on the Trump name.

And if you're mad about the media talking about the president of the United States,

then you're also a complete moron because that is what the media is supposed to do.

Do you think Obama got a free pass from anybody in George W dot Bush did or Bill Clinton?

No.

That's what the press does because it's their job.

And as for the comedians talking about your husband, oh dear comedians making jokes about

the power structures in Washington DC.

This must be the first time that's ever happened ever.

Right?

Hell, even Gallagher used to make jokes about the president's back in the eighties and seventies

cub on.

You got comb with a little bit more evidence than that.

But I think what really happened during your interview with Sean Hannity is that you let

a little truth slip out.

You are disgusted by the people who are trying to use the Trump name to further their careers,

but the person you're most disgusted with

is yourself.

Trump Has TOTAL Meltdown, Cancels Christmas Party For Reporters - Duration: 3:47.

Well, the war on Christmas is well underway at this point, but it turns out the people

actually waging the war on Christmas might be the current occupants of the White House.

Donald trump has decided that he is not going to throw the annual Christmas party for members

of the media this year.

It had been a long standing tradition at the White House throwing a Christmas party for

members of the press showing a little bit of goodwill and then moving on.

Donald trump can't even muster enough goodwill to be in the same room as these people or

God forbid, let them enjoy themselves for a little bit and he decided to cancel Christmas

for the White House press corps.

Well, I can't even say he canceled Christmas for the White House press corps because apparently

he is still going to do a Christmas party for certain members of the press.

Just it's only going to include the ones that are favorable to him, which includes most

of the people on Fox News and Fox.

Fox News are the folks who reported that there is going to be a separate little smaller Christmas

party.

Some of us are going to it, so that's actually what's happening right now.

Donald trump didn't do this because they didn't have the resources or because he hates all

the media.

He did it because he is a petty and spiteful human being that did not want to give that

kind of honor or pleasure to members of the press who go out there and accurately report

on his administration every single day.

Never in my lifetime have I seen a president this hostile towards the media.

I mean George W dot Bush got ripped by these people all the time, but he is still had enough

courage to go to the White House correspondence dinner to sit there and be mocked and ridiculed

and roasted and he laughed about it.

Same thing with Obama.

He even did interviews on Fox News who hated him, but Donald Trump can't even muster the

courage to throw these people a holiday party.

Now tell me, does that sound like the people who are trying to preserve Christmas or do

they just want to make it about themselves and all their little buddies over at Fox News?

So maybe this year there actually is a war on Christmas.

It's just that in an m night Shyamalan kind of twist.

cuts that we passed last year under our new tax cuts any distressed area that is

designated as an opportunity zone will receive massive incentives for private

sector investment including zero capital gains tax on any investment held for at

least ten years we're honored to be joined today by the person who led the

fight to include Opportunity Zones in the tax cuts and Jobs Act and that is

Senator Tim Scott thank you

we're also joined by Roger campus of the minority Business Roundtable

along with Jimmy Kemp thanks fellas appreciate it that's great

pastor Daryl Scott friend of mine for a long time Bishop Perry Jackson Harry

it's great and local officials from Baltimore Maryland Norfolk Virginia and

Allegheny County Pennsylvania for decades job growth and investment have

been concentrated in a few major metropolitan areas this has created a

geographic disparity have very big one in many cases where some cities have

thrived while others have suffered chronic economic and social hardship

with opportunity zones we're drawing investment into neglected and

underserved communities of America so that all Americans regardless of zip

code have access to the American dream governors know their local needs best

following the enactment of our tax law America's governors designated nearly

9,000 neighborhoods as opportunity zones from communities in the rural West

Virginia to suburban Arizona to inner-city Chicago the Treasury

Department has estimated that as a result of these tax incentives private

businesses will invest 100 billion dollars in Opportunity Zones and that

will be incredible this council will support communities like East Baltimore

where posture pastor Donte Hickman is helping lead a groundbreaking project in

the newly designated opportunity zone I'd like to invite pastor Hickman to say

a few words about today's initiative he's been an incredible leader a man of

faith and somebody that we all believe very strongly in pastor please

Thank You mr. president I am here today thanking you in advance for funding and

resources that you will direct to the urban and distressed communities like

Baltimore the executive order you signed today will make it possible for us to

work with your administration on a common goal of investing to restore

people as we rebuild properties in neglected communities as pastor of the

Southern Baptist Church and through our Mary Harvin transformation Center

Community Development Corporation in partnership with other faith-based

stakeholder institutions developed the East Baltimore revitalization plan

addressing development needs of over 100 acres just north of Johns Hopkins

Hospital and was recently approved and adopted by the City Planning Department

of Baltimore our area has been federally designated as an opportunity zone and

this bipartisan legislation can leverage public and private funding towards

community revitalization your influence on federal agencies and private entities

through this executive order will enable distressed communities like Broadway

East and Baltimore to obtain investment needed to capitalize and bridge funding

gaps to create sustainable health wealth housing educational recreational grocery

and employment opportunities it will strengthen small emerging and other

businesses as well as enable financial support of historically black colleges

and universities like Wiley College in Marshall Texas where I attended mr.

president I want you and every agency and potential investor to know that in

Baltimore and in particular Broadway East Baltimore that we have the plan we

have the property we have the people we have the professional expertise and we

have the prospectus to jumpstart your urban initiative Baltimore is prepared

to be a demonstration project for a national urban revitalization strategy

we look forward to working with your administration on rebuilding opportunity

in our urban communities that have suffered from disinvestment and

dilapidation for decades and we welcome you to come to Baltimore to see the

potential transformative impact of your leadership and investment through this

executive order thank you thank you pastor today we are also proud to be

joined by one of America's most admired business leaders the co-founder of the

television network BT Bob Johnson Bob please

Thank You mr. president I'm here to applaud you on two things one you may

not even know about but Tim Scott just recently your Department of Labor signed

a historic document that created something called Auto portability Auto

portability is designed to reduce retirement leakage among low income 401k

account holders who tend to cash out and mr. president you should know this 60

percent of African American Hispanic Americans cash out of their 401k account

when this program the policy that secretary Costa initiated along with my

company is implemented along with the big financial record keepers the

fidelity's the Vanguard's this program will put close to 800 billion dollars

back in the retirement pockets of minority Americans so I just want to

applaud you better now getting to the getting to the most

important thing most of all most of you probably know that I started be ET on a

half a million dollar loan from a guy named John Malone that $500,000 and that

John Malone put in to be et allowed me along with a lot of other minority

employees and others to build a four billion dollar business what this proves

is the época see mr. president of a program that allows capital to flow to

places where people are seeking an opportunity and I am convinced that this

program where the tax incentives flowing out of the Treasury Department to

business people will cause people to invest money where before they saw risk

now they will see opportunity and that combination of putting money into

communities will allow for those communities to become vibrant to become

safe to create ownership and most important to contribute to the

well-being of this country I'm a fundamental believer that there are

business solutions to social problems the opportunities our program is that

and I applaud you and Tim Scott particularly upon it thank you

thank you very much Bob under my administration we are fighting everyday

for all Americans African Americans and Hispanic American poverty rates have

reached their lowest levels ever recorded in the history of our country

african-american and Hispanic American unemployment have recently achieved the

lowest rates ever recorded african-american youth unemployment has

reached the lowest rate ever recorded that's pretty good Bob isn't it and

we're pretty good last year alone we lifted 1 million Americans out of

poverty which is a record we have launched a cutting-edge campaign to

provide skills and job training to nearly 6.5 million Americans we are

fixing disastrous trade policies that gutted middle class communities and we

are expanding real educational choice for our students as part of our

commitment to building safe and prosperous communities the Senate will

soon vote on our landmark criminal justice reform package that we've all

been working very hard on you have been working very hard on it

the first-step Act it's called this legislation will give former inmates and

nonviolent offenders the chance to become productive contributing law

abiding citizens but we have much more work to do the White House opportunity

and revitalization Council will drive our ambitious agenda and drive it very

very powerfully no citizen will be forgotten no community will be ignored

and no American will be left on the sidelines to achieve our national

destiny we all must unlock the potential of all of our people not just some of

our people together we will take our nation to new heights by realizing the

full promise of America for every citizen in our magnificent land with

that I would like to invite secretary ben Carson to the podium before I signed

the executive order I'd also like to ask Tim Scott to say a few words great

senator and then we'll sign thank you very much Ben first

well thank you mr. president for that introduction for all of you for joining

us today for this most important executive order signing today the

nation's unemployment rate is at a 49 year low jobless rates among African

Americans down to a record low of 5.9% wages on the rise while we can all be

proud of these achievements one challenge has remained there are still

communities in our country that have seen little or no new investment in

generations during his inaugural address President Trump declared that the

Forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer it is

critical that every American shares in the gains of the past two years today

the president is establishing the white house opportunity and revitalization

Council through an executive order I'm pleased to chair this council consisting

of members across 13 agencies whose mission is to jumpstart the development

in urban and rural communities through the creation of opportunities zones

located in economically distressed communities across this country

opportunity zones are home to approximately 35 million Americans the

Department of Treasury estimates that the opportunity zone legislation could

attract over 100 billion dollars in private investment which will go a long

way to spur on jobs and economic development this kind of medicine is

precisely what a doctor would prescribe to heal communities we're nearly one in

three people live in poverty and unemployment is nearly twice the

national average too often new investments into

distressed communities are here today and gone tomorrow by offering incentives

that encourage investors to think in terms of decades instead of days

opportunity zones ensure that development is here today

and here to stay this long-term approach means that new growth becomes consistent

growth and new jobs become steady jobs the result is an innovative market and

place-based approach that creates a when when for investors and distressed

communities alike the council will help improve the efficacy of this process and

is ready to consider more than 150 actions to better target streamline and

coordinate federal programs and opportunities owns these are still early

days as in terms of the work of the council and Opportunity Zones but the

groundwork has been laid the seats the president has planted are growing and

the promise they hold to improve places long forgotten in the lives of those who

call these places home and with that I in fact senator Scott who was

instrumental in creating his owns after which time the president will perform

the deed I just want to take the time to thank the president for his hard work

and his dedication to people living in distressed communities as a kid who grew

up in a single-parent household mired in poverty living in one of these

distressed communities on the first hand the value of hope being brought into

communities under this administration mr. president under your leadership what

we've seen happen in the last several months is unprecedented

you could think first about Opportunity Zones but you and I had a conversation

about the zones over a year and a half ago you immediately jumped on board and

took the lead and because of your leadership opportunities owns that will

help distress communities over 8,700 throughout this country is a reality the

average poverty rate in those zones are 31% because of your leadership because

of your foresight in your vision we now see hope defending on these zones number

two you think about what Bob Johnson spoke

about the ability to positively impact retirement security and communities of

color has increased because of your proactive stance on keeping those

dollars in retirement accounts number three we think about the power of

Education the greatest chasm in this nation is caused by two primary issues

one is family formation we can't do much about that in government but number two

is education your focus sir is changing lives

that you may never meet but it's happening every single day in America

and finally your strong advocacy for criminal justice reform to come to the

floor of the United States Senate with without any questions without your

leadership our Senate would not have made the decision to take it up in 2018

so when it passes the credit starts at the White House and starts with

President Donald

thank you god bless you and God bless america
