Trump news on Youtube May 18 2018

president Trump facing big foreign policy challenges including North Korea

Russia the Middle East and just in time for all these developments our friend

anchor of special report Bret Baier has a new book out that parallels today's

headlines it's called three days in Moscow Ronald Reagan and the fall of the

Soviet empire lucky for us Brett is right here in New

York with us Brett welcome thank you so tell tell us about the parallels well

there's a lot of parallels in the moments the challenges there are

obviously very different personalities but Reagan used a lot of bold language

that Washington foreign policy establishment kind of really had a

problem with back in the day I thought it was too aggressive and in that case

you know Donald Trump's tweets are similar in that way we'll see if Donald

Trump follows the the guidelines of these summits and how he got up from the

table if it didn't work I do want to bring in the book you know the book is

here and it came out this week and I saw you while talking about the books and

how Jesse is so prolific in his reading so I brought the young readers which

also comes a big print at the same time

you can color in the back doors by Brett Baier the monologue shushing that is

creepy is this the creepiest thing it's a hard

candy Valley it almost looks like you but because it's not like you it's just

freaky I keep it you know I take this everywhere that's really I travel on the

subway with it I've had three companies say they really want to they really want

to do this yeah but I think you should do it for the Children's Hospital

charity you know what you should do is do a promotion with your book on Twitter

that if somebody shows a receipt of buying your book they are part of the

auction for the bear

what is going through your mind when you get the five tossing to you at 5:59

essentially it is one of the most scary parts of the day especially if it's gray

yes just assume it's gonna rhyme Dana ponch she just says I don't have any was

there instances and not just with this summit that Ronald Reagan had the one

that you write about here yeah but were there instances where one of the parties

threatened to call it off yes Reykjavik they got up and left so it goes Geneva

Reykjavik and then Washington DC and Moscow and the reason this one is

important in Moscow is the final one and he speaks to Moscow State University

students about freedom and democracy and not like hitting them over the head that

we're better than you but sort of like a Pied Piper like come and see why the

West is the way to go you know what's interesting on that point I mean

obviously I think back I was covering the Reagan White House this is

perestroika and he makes tremendous inroads with Gorbachev but now we're

dealing with Putin and Putin has rejected the West and all of our offers

and help in terms of coming in to the Western world capitalist yeah it's a

totally different he's trying to recreate the Soviet Union expansionism

and Mikhail Gorbachev was a different leader and Reagan saw that and that's

why I negotiated with them a little fact in here Reagan and Gorbachev in Red

Square when they're walking around Marlin Fitzwater whispers in his ear and

says all these people around you they're not civilians they're KGB officers yeah

and one of them was believed to be Vladimir Putin knew you're killing three

days

so the title three days in Moscow I thought it was about Trump's visit for

the pageant is really thrilled with some news of the day just with you we just

did a block on the Trump Tower meetings on jr. and the transcripts that came out

and I'm just curious if you know some people are saying oh there's tons of

stuff in here that could really change the tide others saying it's a big

nothing burger I think that was Jessie what do you think is there anything new

here I do think that's what Dana pointed out I'm at the Penn afford notes is

actually really interesting the the notes in the meeting I also think that

Don jr. there's a lot of calls for him to come back up and testify because

there's some hazy memory there at the same time you look at this New York

Times piece about operation what does it crossfire hurricane and in deep in there

it says a year later there's still no evidence of you know any the Trump

officials colluding with Russia and I think both sides of this investigation

we have a lot to learn and we're probably months away can I just be on

behalf of America say no one cares okay no one cares

the bear doesn't even care tab so Senate Intel comes out and says much

differently than house Intel oh yeah Russia interfered and they favored Trump

does that matter what matters that they put it out and they were backing up the

intelligence community in in what they were put on a bipartisan report in a

bipartisan report and we're gonna have senator Lankford on special report

tonight to talk about that's a good guest yep Jesse you know I realize that

you love books so I want you to ask your toughest question now that we have bret

baier right here how will you handle the fact that Gutfeld might outsell you with

the monologues I like that he plugs my book

you got to kill me book out there you got the Gutfeld thing coming up yeah

Ainsley's got a book out we have a lot of books how will you feel if you don't

outsell all I'll feel like that bear those bears feeling pretty good right

now it's in the best seat my house my lap

right there before we go just on a personal note what do you hear from

Charles Krauthammer office so I had this email the other day he's doing better

his doctors say he's turned the corner and he hopes to be back in you know in

the panel and on the panel great good here's wishing you all the best Charles

I know you watch and does he watched as he watches watch and he watches the fine

I hope you merit ourselves Charles it's a little late for that I'm only a bear

with a human face huh that's true yeah this is where I am again yeah do you get

aggravated no I think it's good you know I can always hear you laughing because I

think you're trying to do a serious show

you

Robert Mueller Discovered One Phone Call That Is Devastating News For Trump - Duration: 11:36.

Robert Mueller Discovered One Phone Call That Is Devastating News For Trump

Robert Mueller is desperate.

His collusion investigation is a hoax and he's scrounging around for anything he can

use to make the case that Congress should impeach Donald Trump.

He's discovered one phone call that could be bad news for the President.

Mueller is zeroing in on the Trump administration's response to the story that a Russian lawyer

promised Donald Trump, Jr. dirt on Hillary Clinton in exchange for a meeting.

The lawyer lied.

There was no dirt—the lawyer wanted to lobby the campaign about lifting sanctions on Russia

adoption.

It was another supposed bombshell that fizzled within hours of its publication.

So Mueller – in his zeal to destroy the President – is focusing on a phone call

between Trump, top aide Hope Hicks, and former legal team spokesmen Mark Corallo, where they

discussed the administration's response to the story.

Corallo alleges that Hicks claimed the emails that Trump, Jr. eventually made public would

"never get out" and alleges that this meant she was trying to obstruct justice with

the President on the phone.

The New York Times reports:

"THE CONFERENCE CALL WITH THE PRESIDENT, MR.

CORALLO AND MS.

HICKS TOOK PLACE THE NEXT MORNING, AND WHAT TRANSPIRED ON THE CALL IS A MATTER OF DISPUTE.

IN MR.

CORALLO'S ACCOUNT — WHICH HE PROVIDED CONTEMPORANEOUSLY TO THREE COLLEAGUES WHO

LATER GAVE IT TO THE TIMES — HE TOLD BOTH MR.

TRUMP AND MS.

HICKS THAT THE STATEMENT DRAFTED ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE WOULD BACKFIRE BECAUSE DOCUMENTS

WOULD EVENTUALLY SURFACE SHOWING THAT THE MEETING HAD BEEN SET UP FOR THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN

TO GET POLITICAL DIRT ABOUT MRS.

CLINTON FROM THE RUSSIANS.

ACCORDING TO HIS ACCOUNT, MS.

HICKS RESPONDED THAT THE EMAILS "WILL NEVER GET OUT" BECAUSE ONLY A FEW PEOPLE HAD ACCESS

TO THEM.

MR.

CORALLO, WHO WORKED AS A JUSTICE DEPARTMENT SPOKESMAN DURING THE GEORGE W. BUSH ADMINISTRATION,

TOLD COLLEAGUES HE WAS ALARMED NOT ONLY BY WHAT MS.

HICKS HAD SAID — EITHER SHE WAS BEING NAÏVE OR WAS SUGGESTING THAT THE EMAILS COULD BE

WITHHELD FROM INVESTIGATORS — BUT ALSO THAT SHE HAD SAID IT IN FRONT OF THE PRESIDENT

WITHOUT A LAWYER ON THE PHONE AND THAT THE CONVERSATION COULD NOT BE PROTECTED BY ATTORNEY-CLIENT

PRIVILEGE."

Hicks' lawyer strongly denied this allegation and labeled it as false.

The Times also reports:

IN A STATEMENT ON WEDNESDAY, A LAWYER FOR MS.

HICKS STRONGLY DENIED MR.

CORALLO'S ALLEGATIONS.

"AS MOST REPORTERS KNOW, IT'S NOT MY PRACTICE TO COMMENT IN RESPONSE TO QUESTIONS FROM THE

MEDIA.

BUT THIS WARRANTS A RESPONSE," SAID THE LAWYER, ROBERT P. TROUT.

"SHE NEVER SAID THAT.

AND THE IDEA THAT HOPE HICKS EVER SUGGESTED THAT EMAILS OR OTHER DOCUMENTS WOULD BE CONCEALED

OR DESTROYED IS COMPLETELY FALSE."

Mueller's interest in this episode shows how desperate he is to destroy Trump.

Even if the initial statement to the media was misleading, that is not a crime.

If a special counsel was appointed every time a politician shaded the truth to the media

there would be 535 special counsels investigating every member of Congress.

Mueller digging into this meeting exposes that he is holding no cards.

If he really had any evidence of collusion or obstruction he would be pursuing that instead.

Investigations are supposed to be conducted in pursuit of evidence to prove a crime was

committed.

The Mueller probe is an investigation in pursuit of a crime.

Trump is being investigated because his real "crime" was winning the election against

the wishes of the political establishment.

So they are using this fake news Russia probe to try and tear him down.

It's an illegitimate assault on Democracy and it should be shut

down immediately.

thoughts in the comment section.

Appeals Court Denies Trump's Bid to Pause Discovery in Zervos Defamation Lawsuit | THR News - Duration: 2:02.

A New York appeals court has refused President Donald Trump's bid

to pause discovery in the defamation lawsuit brought

by former 'Apprentice' contestant, Summer Zervos.

Zervos is suing the president over comments during the 2016

presidential election. After tape was published of Trump boasting

to 'Access Hollywood''s Billy Bush about grabbing women's genitals,

Trump denied ever assaulting women. As Trump came under

fire for his comments, several women including Zervos came forward.

Zervos accuses him of kissing her twice in 2007 and attacking her

in a hotel room. Trump responded that he "..never met her at a hotel,"

and attacked allegations from his accusers as

"100 percent fabricated and made-up charges,

pushed strongly by the media and the Clinton campaign."

In her lawsuit, Zervos claims she's been branded as a liar.

Trump argued that the U.S. Constitution didn't allow this case

to proceed right away thanks to the Supremacy Clause.

Trump's attorney, Marc Kasowitz, posited that the clause means

"that state governments, including their courts,

refrain from interfering in the operations of the federal government."

New York Supreme Court Judge Jennifer Schecter allowed a

defamation lawsuit in March, writing "No one is above the law."

The Opinion stated, "Nothing in the Supremacy Clause of the

United States Constitution even suggests that the President

cannot be called to account for wrongful conduct that bears

no relationship to any federal executive responsibility."

Looking to take advantage of this decision, Zervos' lawyers have

sent out subpoenas. Trump has been given until

May 29th to respond to a demand that he be deposed.

Trump hoped to delay everything by pushing New York's

appeals court for a stay on the case, but that won't happen.

The appellate decision also could be meaningful to third parties,

in particular, MGM, which is facing a demand for 'Apprentice' footage

and documents showing any inappropriate comments from Trump

towards women. It's possible that MGM may

look to quash the subpoena or attempt to limit it in scope.

For more news on this decision, head to THR.com.

Ex United States Attorney Drops Bombshell Obama CIA Chief Pushed Operation to Frame Donald Trump - Duration: 10:54.

Ex-United States Attorney Drops Bombshell Obama CIA Chief Pushed Operation to Frame

Donald Trump

Kirsters Baish|

Recently, we have been watching as the leftist Trump/Russia collusion narrative unfolds right

before our eyes.

This ridiculous narrative was the match that fueled the fire for special counsel Robert

Mueller's investigation.

Even after a year-long investigation into the allegations that Donald Trump had colluded

with the Russians during the 2016 presidential election, there has been "no credible evidence"

of such actions.

Any "evidence" that the special counsel has come up with, such as the falsified dossier,

has been thrown out.

During an appearance on Fox News this past Tuesday, former United States Attorney General

Joe diGenova touched on the lack of evidence.

DiGenova appeared on Laura Ingraham's "The Ingraham Angle," blaming former Obama administration

CIA Director John Brennan, and claiming that the whole thing was a set up in order to frame

Trump.

DiGenova explained, "It was abundantly clear that there was no legitimate basis even for

a counter intelligence investigation, let alone a criminal investigation.

It is quite obvious that John Brennan was at the head of the group of people who were

going to create a counter intelligence investigation against Trump by creating false information

that was going to be fed through Carter Page, and fed through George Papadopoulos so that

it would be picked up, reported back to Washington and provide the basis for a counter, a fake,

counter intelligence investigation.

And it was all Brennan's doing.

And that is why the Justice Department is viciously fighting revealing everything they

can about the source in London, who everybody knows the identity of."

Laura then asked the diGenova to expand on new reports on an unnamed source from London.

This source allegedly gave up the information that was used to launch the investigation

into Trump.

the former U.S. Attorney General explained, "The source in London was another person

who was feeding false information to George Papadopoulos and others about collusion which

did not exist."

As you saw in the video, former federal prosecutor Sidney Powell also appeared on the show.

She talked about a different aspect of the beginning of the collusion narrative and the

Clinton Foundation/DNC funded dossier.

Western Journal reported on Powell's comments:

She noted how the FBI had granted access to a handful of private contractors, likely to

include Fusion GPS, to sift through raw intelligence gathered under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance

Act.

This was then passed on to Steele and others and recycled back to the U.S. intelligence

community with a false air of legitimacy to help form the narrative used as the basis

for the investigation into Trump.

DiGenova picked up on what Powell had mentioned and pointed out that there had been two opinions

issued by the FISA court in opposition to that illegal practice of allowing private

contractors access to the sensitive raw intelligence data.

DiGenova stated, "All of that was designed for the unmasking and the leaking of the names,

and that was all done by private contractors.

The FISA court objected to it and it never stopped."

Brennan has made it clear in the past that he is not a fan of President Trump, so it

isn't hard to see where diGenova would say that he tried to "frame" Trump.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that we will find out the truth one the Justice Department's

Inspector General has released their final report.

UNFOLDING: Trump Just Busted Obama In Massive Crime 'Bigger Than Watergate' – It's

About To Get UGLY!

Leakers to the mainstream media news source, the New York Times, confirmed in a story that

the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) ran a spy operation on the Trump campaign

during the 2016 presidential election involving government informants, secret subpoenas, and

possible wiretaps.

This story comes just ahead of the release of the pending Department of Justice inspector

general report on the FBI's actions during the 2016 election.

Many speculate this leak is a public relations attempt to paint the FBI's efforts in the

most flattering light possible.

Yet many Americans believe there is no spin that can make this story into making the actions

of the FBI acceptable.

The FBI is supposed to be an apolitical agency, yet they have been discovered spying on the

Trump campaign through phone records with "at least one" human asset.

President Donald Trump took to Twitter to speculate on the news, stating – "Wow,

word seems to be coming out that the Obama FBI "SPIED ON THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN WITH AN

EMBEDDED INFORMANT."

Andrew McCarthy says, "There's probably no doubt that they had at least one confidential

informant in the campaign."

If so, this is bigger than Watergate!"

The NYT reports – "The F.B.I. obtained phone records and other documents using national

security letters — a secret type of subpoena — officials said.

And at least one government informant met several times with Mr. Page and Mr. Papadopoulos,"

while citing "current and former officials" as their source of information. The revelation

of "at least one government informant" appears to confirm a Washington Post story

last week in which leakers revealed that the FBI had a "top secret intelligence source"

— a U.S. citizen who likely lived overseas — who had spied on members of the Trump

campaign for the FBI.

Many speculate that this person could possibly be Stefan Halper, a foreign policy expert

and Cambridge professor who is connected to the CIA and its British counterpart, MI6.

The story reveals that the code name for the investigation on the Trump campaign was "Crossfire

Hurricane," based on a Rolling Stones song.

Nowhere in the story, however, is there evidence of any collusion during the campaign.

The story states that Trump's former national security adviser, Michael Flynn, was about

to be cleared in November 2016, until he took actions after the election that the FBI wanted

to examine.

The story also asks the persistent and burning question – "The question they confronted

still persists: Was anyone in the Trump campaign tied to Russian efforts to undermine the election?

A year and a half later, no public evidence has surfaced connecting Mr. Trump's advisers

to the hacking or linking Mr. Trump himself to the Russian government's disruptive efforts."

WaPo's report came out as House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) was

fighting the Justice Department for access to information on the source.

After a battle between Nunes and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein over the release of

classified information that was so top-secret that the DOJ refused to show Nunes on the

grounds that it "could risk lives by potentially exposing the source, a U.S. citizen who has

provided intelligence to the CIA and FBI" – the agency finally relented after Nunes

threatened to hold Attorney General Jeff Sessions in contempt.

Thus allowing Nunes and Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) to receive a classified briefing.According

to the Wall Street Journal's Kimberley Strassel, the source meant "the FBI secretly had a

person on the payroll who used his or her non-FBI credentials to interact in some capacity

with the Trump campaign."

"This would amount to spying, and it is hugely disconcerting," she wrote in a piece

last Thursday.

The NYT story offers conflicting reports as to what the FBI has previously stated regarding

the ongoing investigation into the Trump campaign.

They have previously stated the investigation began with information that Papadopoulos had

told an Australian diplomat he knew that Russians had stolen emails that would be embarrassing

for Hillary Clinton.

According to what leakers have stated to the NYT previously, an investigation was opened

"within hours" into the Trump campaign on July 31, 2016.

The FBI immediately dispatched two agents to London to conduct an interview with the

Australian diplomat who spoke with Papadopoulos.

This means that the FBI officially opened an active investigation before even formally

interviewing Papadopoulos.According to the leakers, it was not until two days after the

investigation actually began that agents summarized their interview with Papadopoulos which is

considered a significant break with diplomatic protocol" — and subsequently sent the

summary back to Washington.

Except now the NYT story is glossing over this rather glaring discrepancy by claiming

the agents' report "helped provide the foundation" for the case, rather than they

sparked the case itself which was the initial claim.

These discrepancies and apparent holes in the official narrative appear to confirm that

the FBI opened an investigation into the Trump campaign based on other information.

Perhaps the "top secret intelligence source" though the exact source is currently unknown.

Strassel also questioned when the investigation really began, and why.

She wrote: "…when precisely was this human source operating?

Because if it was prior to that infamous Papadopoulos tip, then the FBI isn't being straight.

It would mean the bureau was spying on the Trump campaign prior to that moment.

And that, in turn, would mean that the FBI had been spurred to act on the basis of something

other than a junior campaign aide's loose lips."

The NYT story also appears to be incredibly vague on when exactly FBI agents began looking

into the Trump campaign, simply stating it was "days" after their investigation on

Hillary Clinton's email server ended.

Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey announced he would not seek charges against

Hillary on July 5, 2016, and the FBI officially launched their investigation on July 31, 2016.The

NYT story claims the investigation was sparked by suspicions over some campaign members'

pre-existing connections with Russia before they joined the campaign.

Yet doing business with Russia is not illegal?

Breitbart reports of these so-called Russian ties: "Flynn, a retired three-star general,

was once paid $45,000 by Russian outlet Russia Today for a 2015 speaking engagement; Paul

Manafort — a veteran Republican strategist — had lobbied for pro-Russian interests

in Ukraine long before he joined the Trump campaign; Carter Page had previously worked

in Moscow and Russian spies had tried to recruit him.

In Papadopoulos's case, he "seemed to know" Russia had "political dirt" on

Clinton.

The FBI also found Trump's behavior suspicious, although he was not under investigation.

FBI officials were also alarmed by reports that wrongly suggested that Trump's campaign

had tried to change the GOP's stance on Ukraine in a way favorable to Russia.

The Times' story also confirms the FBI used the salacious Steele dossier in addition to

"F.B.I. information" to obtain a wiretap on Page.

Democrats have tried to downplay the FBI's reliance on the document.

The story reveals the FBI — instead of alerting the Trump campaign that it might be a target

of Russian influence operations — went to lengths to hide the investigation."

Former Deputy Attorney General Sally Q. Yates claimed during an interview with the NYT that

they did not want word of the investigation to leak and potentially impact the 2016 presidential

election.

Yates stated: "You do not take actions that will unnecessarily impact an election,"

she said.

No, instead they chose to secretly spy on the Trump campaign as mentioned above, via

phone records, secret subpoenas, and at least one informant.

The story also manages to downplay the actions of FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok, who played

a key role in Hillary's email investigation, as well as the Trump campaign investigations.

As Breitbart reports – "The story claims that the FBI did not reveal eagerness to investigate

Trump, citing one of Strzok's text messages to FBI lawyer Lisa Page, with whom he was

having an extramarital affair. The Times quoted Strzok as texting Page with, "I cannot believe

we are seriously looking at these allegations and the pervasive connections."

In reality, he had texted Page "OMG I CANNOT BELIEVE WE ARE SERIOUSLY LOOKING AT THESE

ALLEGATIONS AND THE PERVASIVE CONNECTIONS."

Mollie Hemingway of the Federalist called a spade a spade and states the NYT report

is little more than "an attempted whitewash" of FBI behavior.

The story also shows former CIA Director John Brennan taking an active role in pushing the

investigation along and actively sharing intelligence with Comey showing that the Russian government

was behind an attack on the election.

Yet, other reports reveal Brennan briefed then-Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV),

who then urged Comey to investigate the Trump campaign in an August 27, 2016 letter that

could be shared with media — even though there was already an open FBI investigation.

Another separate report recently published by the American Spectator's George Neumayr

said that leaked news stories in the British press showed that Brennan's spying on Trump

began around April 2016.

"As it became urgently clear to Brennan that Trump was going to face off against Hillary,

Brennan turned to 'intelligence partners' in Europe for dirt on Trump.

But they didn't have any, save some pretty skimpy material on 'contacts' between

Trump campaign officials and Russians.

From April 2016 to July 2016, according to leaked stories in the British press, he assembled

a multi-agency taskforce that served as the beginnings of a counterintelligence probe

into the Trump campaign.

During these months, he was 'personally briefing' Obama on 'Russian interference'

— Brennan's euphemism for spying on the Trump campaign — and was practically camped

out at the White House.

So in all likelihood, Obama knew about and had given his blessing to Brennan's dirt-digging."

Trump-Hater John McCain Disqualifies Haspel - Duration: 12:04.

Trump-Hater John McCain Disqualifies Haspel For CIA Chief, Gets Rude Awakening

Arizona Senator John McCain recently lashed out at Gina Haspel, who is President Donald

Trump's pick for CIA chief, saying her track record of torturing terrorists is "disqualifying."

Now, the Trump-hating senator is getting a rude awaking that you won't want to miss.

On Wednesday, May 9, 2018, McCain sent out a message on Twitter basically voicing his

opposition to Gina Haspel's pending appointment as the new CIA Director.

"I believe Gina Haspel is a patriot who loves our country & has devoted her professional

life to its service & defense.

However, her role in overseeing the use of torture is disturbing & her refusal to acknowledge

torture's immorality is disqualifying," McCain wrote.

I believe Gina Haspel is a patriot who loves our country & has devoted her professional

life to its service & defense.

However, her role in overseeing the use of torture is disturbing & her refusal to acknowledge

torture's immorality is disqualifying.

https://t.co/ocDtdqU2Sx

— John McCain (@SenJohnMcCain) May 10, 2018

First of all, McCain's admission that Haspel is a patriot who "loves our country" does

not excuse him from scrutiny over saying that she isn't qualified to lead the CIA.

The simple fact of the matter is that Haspel was responsible for running a division of

the CIA that conducted torture techniques on terrorists to extract vital information.

Haspel should be thanked for her sacrifices, hard work, and willingness to lead the CIA.

Instead, hacks like McCain want to disparage her for doing a job that so very few people

have the fortitude to perform.

Perhaps McCain, like many other Washington, D.C., swamp creatures, became too comfortable

in his plush office and too far removed from the reality of what our intelligence agency

community deals with.

Furthermore, McCain is forgetting that he supported former CIA Director John Brennan

who had the same track record as Haspel.

Larry O'Connor, the host of the Larry O'Connor Show on WMALDC, reminded the senior Arizona

senator that he voted for John Brennan — who had the same "torture" record as Haspel.

"But Senator, with all respect, you voted FOR John Brennan who had the same record on

rendition and enhanced interrogation as Ms. Haspel.

Respectfully, why the double standard?"

O'Connor wrote.

But Senator, with all respect, you voted FOR John Brennan who had the same record on rendition

and enhanced interrogation as Ms. Haspel.

Respectfully, why the double standard?

https://t.co/AQM43yHWq4

— Larry O'Connor (@LarryOConnor) May 10, 2018

I could not agree more.

Why does John McCain apply a double standard to Gina Haspel when he gladly supported John

Brennan when he was appointed as the CIA chief.

The truth is that McCain has a long history of working for the Democrats and their agenda.

His opposition to Haspel is nothing more than one of his last opportunities to take a cheap

shot at Trump.

McCain is obviously grinding an ax that likely has very little do with Haspel directly.

Another good argument could be made here as to why America needs Congress to pass new

legislation on term limits.

Guys like McCain should not get to stick around past the time that they are actually useful

to our government.

He's simply spent too much time lurking around the Senate and throwing his weight

behind all the wrong causes.

Notably, McCain recently admitted that if he had to do it all over again, he would still

give the Steele dossier to former FBI Director James Comey.

The man simply has lost his moral compass.

For whatever reason, he still clings to his Senate seat under his failing health condition,

and it is incomprehensible.

A person of conscience would relinquish their seat to someone better able to serve their

constituents.

To my point, there aren't really any jobs out in the real world where you get to stay

in your position at a time where you are no longer productive.

Why can't Americans expect politicians to follow the same rules by which most of us

live?

Senator John McCain should have retired a long time ago, but again, that would take

some kind of self-reflective character.

In my opinion, voters in Arizona should have a fully capable and productive elected person

in McCain's spot.

John McCain's attack on Gina Haspel is just another example of his visceral hate for President

Donald Trump, who he recently said he does not want at his funeral.

McCain announced in April 2018 that he will not be seeking re-election for another term.

In my opinion, this is good news for everyone, not only in Arizona but

across

the country too.

Rudy Giuliani: Trump Wants to Give His Side of the Case - Duration: 9:29.

Mayor Rudy Giuliani scrambled early changed outfits right up to Laura

Ingraham she'll to help us out through the wingull tagamet tangle men's which

are the Muller investigation thanks so much for joining us so the quick

turnaround mr. mayor nice to be with you always

all right first off on some of the things you revealed last night when you

were sitting down with Robert Muller and others he made it clear to you there was

Robert Muller when he said I can we don't believe we can indict a sitting

president was he trying to get your guard down as if what are you afraid of

guys just bring him in no I don't think so I came up this way we we I asked him

specifically if they if they realized or acknowledged they didn't have the power

to indict both under the Justice Department memo which gives them their

power in essence confined stare and under the Constitution and he said well

he did he he would answer and one of his assistants said they acknowledge they

had to be bound by Justice Department policies and then the next day or the

day after they clarified it for Jay Sekulow who was with me at the meeting

that they didn't have the power to indict that what they would eventually

do is write a memorandum and give it to the Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein

and we never got to the issue with subpoena he I think he had raised that

earlier with with John Dowd but it didn't come up with me but we're pretty

comfortable that in the circumstances of this case they wouldn't be able to

subpoena him personally really well there's no Supreme Court decision that

really is right on on point there are several decisions around it

for example they could probably require documents to be produced that's what was

required of Nixon and we've produced 1.4 million documents they could probably

require you to testify in a civil case possibly even as a witness in a criminal

case but they can't let they can't require you to testify and what would be

your own case because after all it's it's all about a possible impeachment

impeachment has to come before indictment and that's that's a law not

just in the United States that's the law that governs for most heads of state in

the world so so essentially your team is saying hey mr. Mallya you

cannot subpoena him to get him to come and talk to you because that would

violate article 2 of the Constitution and executive privilege so it's a no

right well also it would violate the just Department policies and he is

specifically appointed under those policies so he has to follow those so we

could go to court and challenge anything that he did that was violative that

those policies look he's being challenged by Manafort looks like

successfully to produce his authorization to indict Manafort that's

not clear that he has it so I don't think he wants to battle with us on that

there isn't there is a narrow set of circumstances you can't understand the

president wants to testify I watched it he wants to give out give

his side of the case that she believes is the truthful one he keeps saying to

me I never talked to any Russians I had nothing to do with any Russians what is

this nonsense about Russians and about obstruction of justice what he says very

simply is I'm just expressing my opinion mm-hmm I can't say that Comey is doing a

bad job I'm obstructing justice if I decide that

the director of the FBI is doing a bad job that that's ridiculous so he wants

Comey you've been critical of him about leaking his memos you say he needs to be

you can fire FBI agents for leaking less sensitive things and not fire him for

give me a break call me I mean even you can't stretch the truth that far you go

Liberals Criticize One Thing About Trump's New Embassy - Duration: 11:07.

Liberals Criticize One Thing About Trump's New Embassy.

You Won't Believe This.

Once again, liberals are complaining about President Donald Trump.

As he fulfills another big promise from his campaign, they try to distract the public.

This latest attack reveals how desperate and pathetic they've become, and patriots everywhere

are laughing at them.

We know the left-wing media is stupid.

Their unending hatred of President Trump has made them all but irrelevant.

Why should anyone take their "coverage" seriously, anymore?

They've spent the good part of a year and a half reporting on things like Trump's

ice cream preferences and White House rumors.

When they do try to report on "real" issues, all we get is made up controversies about

Russia or an old porn star.

The mainstream media still can't get over Trump's victory.

They have made it their goal to undermine his presidency at every step.

Every time Trump wins something for the American people, they downplay it, distract from it,

or outright ignore it.

Some estimate the media's coverage of the President to be 90% negative.

So much for journalistic integrity.

Despite all of that, the President continues to make good on his promises.

One really big one was achieved this week.

During his campaign, Trump promised to move the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.

It would be a clear sign that America acknowledges Jerusalem as the true capital of Israel.

Even though Congress voted to do so years ago, no President was willing to actually

do it — except for Trump.

When President @realDonaldTrump announced that it is time to officially recognize Jerusalem

as the capital of Israel, he fulfilled another campaign promise, in addition to those that

go back 25 years….

pic.twitter.com/P7M2dEx2qT

— Dan Scavino Jr. (@DanScavino) December 7, 2017

Yesterday was the ceremony that officially unveiled the U.S. embassy's new home in

the ancient city.

It was another important promise kept by President Donald Trump.

Every America who respects and supports our ally in the Middle East celebrated the achievement.

Except, of course, liberals.

Even though they claim to support the Jewish people, they had little good to say about

the historic event.

Instead, much of the media focused on a 30,000+ riot of Palestinians outside the border.

They focused on the backlash by Israel's enemies, in order to discredit Trump and Israel

itself.

But that's not even the end of it.

Numerous liberals took to Twitter to complain about the embassy.

What do you think they were upset about?

The cost of the building?

Security?

Maybe they are upset with our ambassador, David Friedman?

It was none of that.

They didn't like the size of Trump's name on the plaque outside.

Seriously.

Now they're criticizing the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem because "'Donald J. Trump'

is in a larger font than 'Jerusalem, Israel'" on the ceremonial plaque [Source: Twitchy]

On the new U.S. embassy plaque, "Donald J. Trump" is in a larger font size than "Jerusalem,

Israel" pic.twitter.com/OIkW2NJF9x

— Josh Rogin (@joshrogin) May 15, 2018

I mean, seriously Josh?

This man is a columnist for the Washington Post and a political analyst.

But he's so petty he complains about the font of Trump's name.

Pathetic.

But don't think it was just this fake news peddler.

Many more liberal idiots joined the chorus.

This happened https://t.co/00tPSP0lBQ

— Chris Cillizza (@CillizzaCNN) May 15, 2018

To you, it's public service.

To him, it's a branding opportunity.

https://t.co/YcXdXJY1mU

— Will Saletan (@saletan) May 15, 2018

Says it all.

This wasn't about support for Israel, it was about Trump's ego.

And it was a bad decision.

And innocent people died.

Were killed.

It's an embarrassing and shameful day for both US and Israeli leadership.

https://t.co/r2kuNE8v5y

— Michael Simon (@mbsimon) May 15, 2018

Yeah, it was about Trump's ego.

Because all of the hate he got from the America media was really worth it, to see his name

displayed on a tiny plaque outside a government building.

I guess Michael Simon has never seen this:

I don't think Donald Trump needs his ego to be stroked by something much smaller in

comparison.

(Don't buy what he said about "innocent people" dying.

The 50 people who died were terrorists who attacked Israel's border.

They flung Molotov cocktails and fired guns at Israeli soldiers.

These are the people Michael Simon calls innocent.)

Of course, there were stupid responses, like this:

This physically pains me.

@realDonaldTrump YOU DO NOT OWN THE UNITED STATES.

This is not a Trump Hotel.

It belongs to the people.

#gross https://t.co/UE03VjkxoD

— teri weinberg (@TeriWeinberg) May 15, 2018

This physically pains you?

Kid, you should see a doctor, because something ain't right.

Oh, and the embassy belongs to the people?

Then I guess it shouldn't display the name of the President, like every other government

building.

Naturally, as liberals complained about fonts, patriots were laughing.

That's all they got left, friends.

Font sizes.

https://t.co/8b0YLSYOnD

— Mike Cernovich 🇺🇸 (@Cernovich) May 15, 2018

Also, two scoops of ice cream.

https://t.co/3Qt11fIMvl

— Arthur Schwartz (@ArthurSchwartz) May 15, 2018

It's clear the liberal media has no credibility left.

They can't even honestly report on something so significant.

The U.S. embassy move is a major win for our ally in the Middle East.

It is a sign that America means business in supporting Israel.

Every American should be celebrating.

But the bitter, enraged left, so petty and childish, cannot.

The worst they can do is bicker about the size of Trump's name on the wall.

Just imagine how big it'll be on the border wall.

Giuliani: Mueller Can't Indict Trump - Duration: 12:57.

it is America's number one cable morning news show and you are watching her right

now welcome aboard the 7 o'clock hour of Fox and Friends Ainsley's in England and

you thanks for joining us Mayor Rudy Giuliani scrambled early changed outfits

right up to Laura Ingraham show to help us out through the wingull tagamet

tangle mince which are the Muller investigation thanks so much for joining

us for the quick turnaround mr. mayor nice to be with you always

all right first off on some of the things you revealed last night when you

were sitting down with Robert Muller and others he made it clear to you there was

Robert Muller when he said I can we don't believe we can indict a sitting

president was he trying to get your guard down as if what are you afraid of

guys just bring him in no I don't think that I came up this way we we I asked

him specifically if they if they realized or acknowledged they didn't

have the power to indict both under the Justice Department memo which gives them

their power in essence confined state power and under the Constitution and he

said well he did he he would answer and one of the assistants said they

acknowledge they had to be bound by Justice Department policies and then the

next day or the day after they clarified it for Jay Sekulow who was with me at

the meeting that they didn't have the power to indict that what they would

eventually do is write a memorandum and give it to the Deputy Attorney General

Rosen Steve and we never got to the issue with subpoena he I think he had

raised that earlier with with John Dowd but it didn't come up with me but we're

pretty comfortable that in the circumstances of this case they wouldn't

be able to subpoena him personally really well there's no Supreme Court

decision that really is right on on point

there are several decisions around for example they could probably require

documents to be produced that's what was required of Nixon and we've produced 1.4

million dot they could probably require you to

testify in a civil case possibly even as a witness in a criminal case but they

can't let they can't require you to testify and what would be your own case

because they have to roll it's it's all about a possible impeachment impeachment

has to come before indictment and that's what that's a law not just in the United

exceptions of doj policy with

the approval of Mueller's boss,

in this case, rod Rosenstein.

My next guest wrote those rules,

Neil katyal.

He points out the rules do

provide for exceptions to doj

policy with the approval of the

special counsel's boss, rod

Rosenstein.

Mr. Katyal, you worked at a doj

with the same internal policy

about not indicting a sitting

president.

Why should that be different

>> I think the first thing to

point out is that we -- just

consider how low the president's

bar is here, what he's saying.

We've gone from, Russia, what's

Russia?

Or stormy Daniels, who's that?

What's the $130,000?

To, oh, you can't indict me, I

have a get out of jail free

card.

And that's a remarkable thing.

We're talking about the

president of the United States

saying that.

There's a large number of

reasons to be suspect about what

Mr. Giuliani has said, apart

from the fact that details and

facts aren't exactly his strong

the story just seems very

incomplete, because the special

counsel rules, as you just said,

Ari, do absolutely permit

Mueller to indict the president,

but he has to seek the

permission of the acting

attorney general rod Rosenstein

>> Are you familiar with a

situation, though, where the

acting attorney general would

authorize directly contradicting

standing guidance from the

office of legal counsel which is

sort of the doj's doj?

>> Absolutely.

So when we wrote the rules, we

had in mind a situation in

which, you know, there are some

doj policy, something like that,

that would preclude the special

counsel from doing his job.

And in an appropriate

BREAKING: President Trump Just Made Immediate Order To Jeff Sessions…YES!

President Donald Trump suggested on Wednesday that Attorney General Jeff Sessions consider

prosecuting Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf for "obstruction of justice" because she warned

illegal immigrants in February about potential Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)

raids, Breitbart reports.

During a White House roundtable event with elected officials and law enforcement officials

from California who oppose the state's sanctuary laws, Trump said, "You had a thousand people

together, many of them were illegals, criminals… and she informed them and they all fled."

"I mean, you talk about obstruction of justice, I would recommend that you look into obstruction

of justice for the mayor of Oakland, California, Jeff.

She informed them, and they all fled — or most of them fled — and that whole operation,

that took a long time to put together.

To me, that's obstruction of justice.

And perhaps the Department of Justice can look into that, with respect to the mayor.

Because it's a big deal out there, and a lot of people are very angry about what happened.

There was a lot of hard work and a lot of danger involved.

And that was a terrible thing."

~ President Trump Trump continued: "Schaaf advises thousand

people… they're told 'get out of here, the law enforcement's coming.'

And you worked on that long and hard and you got there and there were very few people there.

To me that's obstruction of justice and perhaps the Department of Justice can look

into that, with respect to the mayor, because it's a big deal out there, and a lot of

people are very angry about what happened."

Trump added that "there's a lot of hard work and a lot of danger involved" in immigration

enforcement and Schaaf's alert "was a terrible thing."

ICE went on record stating that because of her, "gang lookout yelling 'police'"

over 800 illegal aliens got away during their investigation.

Now she wants to take our money and provide the illegal aliens with free college and housing

and a free ride for them.

Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told Fox News.

Hell be there, and hell be ready" White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee

Sanders said of Trump in a Fox News interview Wednesday, adding that North Koreas threat

to back out of a denuclearization summit isnt out of the ordinary.

"Were ready to meet, and if it happens thats great, but if doesnt well see

what happens," she said.

"If it doesnt well continue the maximum pressure campaign that has been ongoing"

The summit is set to take place June 12 in Singapore.

North Korea has threatened to pull out of next month's peace summit with Washington

if the US insists on the peninsula hurriedly giving up its nuclear weapons without offering

immediate sanctions relief.

After blaming joint South Korean-US military exercises for the country's decision yesterday

to cancel a planned summit with the South and to suspend talks, the North revealed another

source of anger: National Security Advisor John Bolton's comments from his appearance

Sunday on CNN's State of the Union, where he suggested that North Korea must "commit

to denuclearization" to help it "become a normal nation."

Kim Kye Gwan, a vice foreign minister and a top North Korea disarmament negotiator,

said the regime was disappointed by the US's articulation of its goals for the summit,

according to a statement published Wednesday by the state-run Korean Central News Agency

via Bloomberg.

Kim expressed anger toward Bolton and other US officials, adding that the North rejects

the "Libya model" where a state surrenders its weapons first then receives incentives

like sanctions relief.

"If the U.S. is trying to drive us into a corner to force our unilateral nuclear abandonment,

we will no longer be interested in such dialogue and cannot but reconsider our proceeding to

the DPRK-U.S. summit," Kim said.

He added that Trump risked becoming a "more tragic and unsuccessful president than his

predecessors" if he didnt accept North Korea as a nuclear power.

Kim Kye Gwan said the North had already declared its willingness to denuclearize the peninsula

- but that it must not be counted on to act first.

"If the Trump administration corners us and tries to force us to give up nuclear [weapons]

unfairly," it says, "we will not be interested in such talks anymore and cannot help but

reconsider having the upcoming DPRK-U.S. summit."

North Korea added that it wouldn't be satisfied with "complete, verifiable and irreversible"

denuclearization as well as the dismantling of nuclear and chemical arms, per Nikkei.

One North Korea expert said observers shouldn't panic: The sharp rhetoric is more likely a

negotiating tactic than a legitimate threat to scrap the talks.

Jin Chang-soo, president at the Sejong Institute, said North Korea's remarks are more like jockeying

ahead of the summit with the U.S., and not a serious threat to pull out of the meeting.

"North Korea and the U.S. agreed on the big picture, but they still have different ideas

on a detailed process.

Pyongyang is trying to boost its negotiation power with such actions," Jin said.

In a statement, the South Korean government said North Korea's decision to suspend talks

was "regrettable."

"It is regrettable that the North has suspended inter-Korean high-level talks with no consultation

with us," said Baik Tae-hyun, a spokesman for South Korea's Unification Ministry.

"The government has a firm will to carry out the Panmunjom Declaration faithfully, and

urges the North side to come to the table quickly for the peace and prosperity of the

Korean Peninsula."

China, meanwhile, called on both sides to "avoid further provocation."

"The amelioration of the situation on the Korean Peninsula is hard won and should be

cherished," foreign ministry spokesman Lu Kang told reporters in Beijing.

For now Kim's gambit appears to be working: on Tuesday night, the US said that it would

consider withholding B-52 bombers from its joint military drills with South Korea in

a bid to appease the North.

Should Pyongyang say it demands more, will Trump - visions of a Nobel Peace Prize dancing

in his head - appease Kim again, and if so, how?

WATCH: Bill Gates Says Donald Trump Didn't Know the Difference Between HIV & HPV

MSNBC's Chris Hayes showed a video on his show on May 17 featuring Bill Gates talking about Donald Trump's confusion.

Gates told a crowd that Trump asked him on several occasions if HPV and HIV were the same things.

Gates, who is legitimately a billionaire, was speaking at a recent meeting for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Gates went on to talk about Trump referring to himself in the third person and a dramatic entrance that Trump made in a helicopter at a meeting the pair had.

Gates is shown in the clip to say, "He wanted to know if there was a difference between HIV and HPV.

So I was able to explain that those are rarely confused with each other.

" At that point, the audience bursts into laughter.

To be clear, there is a huge difference between HPV and HIV.

HPV is the most common sexually transmitted infection in the United States.

It is usually harmless and goes away on its own.

In rare cases, HPV can lead to genital warts and cancer.

HIV stands for Human Immunodeficiency Virus, it's the disease that causes AIDS.

According to Planned Parenthood, "It's a virus that breaks down certain cells in your immune system (your body's defense against diseases that helps you stay healthy).

When HIV damages your immune system, it's easier to get really sick and even die from infections that your body could normally fight off.".

This video comes a year after six members of Trump's HIV/AIDS committee resigned amid claims that the president didn't care about the disease.

The Daily Beast reported in 2015, that after his divorce from Ivana Trump, Trump would only date women who would submit to an AIDS test.

ABC Execs Demand Roseanne Stop Talking About Trump - Duration: 10:54.

ABC Execs Demand Roseanne Stop Talking About Trump, Her Response Sent SHOCKWAVES Through

Studio!

American TV fans were ecstatic when they found out Roseanne would return to regular programming

with a new season.

Her show was well received, gathering millions of viewers, and hitting hard on political

humor while hammering home a few good points in each episode.

It didn't take that long for ABC to come after Roseanne Barr and give her a scathing

message about her pro-Trump character.

However, the president of ABC, Channing Dungey, didn't expect to hear the response Roseanne

had for him after he demanded that she slow her roll on the political commentary and pro-Trump

agenda.

Dungey seems to want Roseanne to stop with the political aspect and resort to strictly

comedy – even though political humor is extremely funny and worked very well for her

show up until now.

Dungey wants the show to lean away from politics for now on.

Conservative fans might not like that as much because the millions of fans who were happily

watching the show could see their new show faced with a forced agenda to change Roseanne's

show.

John Goodman would likely agree that he and Roseanne need to continue doing what worked

best to get excellent viewership in the millions.

Don't let ABC get you down.

Roseanne shocked them with a stunning reply that put her fans at ease when she posted

this on Twitter.

Fox News provided more details on the demand from ABC: "ABC entertainment president Channing

Dungey put the kibosh on "Roseanne" remaining political in the second season – apparently

ditching the strategy the network touted only two months ago.

Dungey said that the show will lean away from politics next season during a conference call

with reporters as part of the network's upfront presentation.

Upon learning the news, conservative media icon Matt Drudge tweeted, "Corporate cannibals

stripping Roseanne of her fun."

The return of "Roseanne" featured a debut episode in which characters argued about the

2016 election, with the show's namesake representing the conservative viewpoint.

As the season concluded, politics appeared less frequently on the sitcom.

"I think that they're going to stay on the path that they were on toward the end

of last season, which is away from politics and toward family," Dungey said during the

network's upfront presentation after the call, according to TheWrap.

The site added that Dungey said ABC's goal is to be "as diverse and as inclusive as

possible … across all metrics."

"I think that one of the things that was fresh for us with 'Roseanne' on the air

is that it is focusing (on) a family that is in a different economic status than some

of the other family comedies that are on the air," Dungey reportedly said.

The show, starring Roseanne Barr the pro-Trump title character, drew plenty of eyeballs when

it premiered on March 27, shocking the industry with over 27 million viewers in Live+7 in

delayed ratings.

Shortly afterwards, ABC President Ben Sherwood eagerly rolled himself out to The New York

Times after the successful return.

At the time, Sherwood claimed that ABC executives had a meeting the morning after the 2016 election

about how they could better reach Middle America.

"We looked at each other and said, 'There's a lot about this country we need to learn

a lot more about, here on the coasts,'" Sherwood told the Times in a feature headline,

"'Roseanne' Reboot Sprang From ABC's Heartland Strategy After Trump's Victory."

An ABC spokesperson said the network is "definitely not" ditching the heartland strategy when

reached by Fox News."

ABC might want to remember that Roseanne's show brought millions of viewers to their

network and likely increased their ratings on the days that her show aired.

Her statistics to open the series this year was stunning, but slowed slightly, although

it seemed like her show continued to perform as her fans became loyal viewers as her season

went on.

The next season might have the hands of the ABC president grappling their show like a

wrestling move, but Roseanne wants her fans to know that she's not backing down and

she will continue to provide as best of a show as possible.

Do you think Roseanne will continue with her political jabs and humor or will she be forced

to dial back towards a strictly family based show?

What's wrong with having a little bit of political humor if the ratings continue to

do well?

Should Roseanne demand control of her show as long as the ratings are up?

Donald Trump UNLEASHES HELL On Rosie O'Donnell After She Threatens Ivanka - Duration: 13:24.

Donald Trump UNLEASHES HELL On Rosie O'Donnell After She Threatens Ivanka

Over the past year, comedian Rosie O'Donnell has allowed her deranged hatred for President

Donald Trump to completely consume her.

This week, the comedian resurfaced once again, this time to bash his daughter Ivanka.

Unfortunately for Rosie, however, she quickly learned that attacking the president's daughter

is never a good idea.

Mad World News reported that Rosie took to Twitter this week to call Ivanka a "dumbs*t

Barbie."

"heartbreaking to watch US SANCTIONED murder on television – as dumbsh*t barbie and ken

smiled for the cameras – horror – pure horror – what has the USA become under this

lunatic #TrumpCrimeFamily," Rosie tweeted.

Rosie was referring to the protests that took place after President Trump moved the U.S.

embassy to Jerusalem in Israel.

Ivanka flew to Jerusalem to attend the opening of the embassy with her husband, Jared Kushner.

Rosie is trying to victimize the Hamas protesters, when in reality, they are not victims at all.

Last week, Hamas terror chief Yahya Sinwar called on hundreds of thousands of protesters

to storm the Israeli border.

Former IDF spokesman Avi Mayer took to Twitter to remind the world that the violence at the

Gaza border was neither spontaneous or popular.

"There is nothing 'spontaneous' or 'popular' about today's violent Hamas-led riots on

the Gaza-Israel border.

Hamas terror leader Yahya Sinwar said *four days ago* that the group was planning a massive

breach of the border fence today.

Why isn't that being reported?"

Mayer wrote.

Unfortunately for Rosie, President Trump wasn't about to take her attacking his daughter.

Trump himself took to Twitter to fire back at Rosie and her liberal cohorts, calling

them out for how wrong they are about the situation in Israel.

"Can you believe that with all of the made up, unsourced stories I get from the Fake

News Media, together with the $10,000,000 Russian Witch Hunt (there is no Collusion),

I now have my best Poll Numbers in a year," Trump tweeted.

"Much of the Media may be corrupt, but the People truly

get it!"

Top Democrat Surrenders To Trump, Delivers Long Awaited CIA Victory - Duration: 12:43.

Top Democrat Surrenders To Trump, Delivers Long-Awaited CIA Victory

We've seen this happen since day one of Trump's White House.

The President has selected some of the best and brightest to serve in his administration.

But every time, and I mean every time, the Democrats dragged their feet through the approval

process.

It's obvious they can't prevent Trump from picking the people he wants.

He has the power to select his cabinet and leaders of key agencies.

All they can do is either vote yes or no.

If they reject someone, he'll just pick someone else they'll hate.

The Democrats know this.

So, they deliberately drag out the approval process.

Like petty children, they delay voting so that Trump doesn't get his people in place.

There are still hundreds of appointments waiting to be confirmed.

Senate Democrats have the audacity to go on vacation before voting.

Perhaps one of the most important votes is on Gina Haspel, Trump's pick for CIA director.

You'd think this would be a slam dunk.

Haspel has served in the agency for years.

She has ample experience and leadership skills.

Also, she'll be the first female head of the CIA.

Why wouldn't democrats—who claim to be feminists—support her?

Instead, the left made it clear they weren't happy with Haspel.

Until today.

A top obstructionist just announced he's changing his vote.

Which gives Trump another win.

From IJR:

President Donald Trump's CIA director nominee, Gina Haspel, received a major boost on Tuesday

after securing the vote of the Democratic vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee,

paving the way for her to become the first female director of the CIA.

"I'm going to support Gina Haspel's nomination to be Director of the CIA.

I also respect my colleagues who have made a different decision," Sen. Mark Warner

(D-Va.) wrote in a statement on Tuesday…

Last week, Warner expressed concern over Haspel's nomination, urging her to fix her "unacceptable"

lack of transparency during the confirmation process…

However, Warner's backing of Haspel on Tuesday, along with Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (D-N.D.), means

the acting director is all but certain to be confirmed following a Senate vote next

week.

Democrats just don't want Trump to succeed.

They will fight him, tooth and nail, even if that means America suffers as a consequence.

The CIA needs a strong, uncompromising leader.

President Trump picked the right person for the job.

But the Democrats don't care.

They'd rather delay her appointment, forcing the agency to suffer.

Many Democrats used Haspel's stance on interrogation methods as an excuse to reject her.

It's a flimsy pretense.

What the CIA does to acquire information is never pretty.

The starched shirts in D.C. have no business questioning what they are up to overseas.

They work they do keeps American lives safe.

That should be enough.

Yet Democrats put on a dog and pony show, just to delay a vote confirming Haspel.

They used her support of waterboarding as a big issue.

It's not.

They are just pathetic children.

Warner's support for Haspel is great.

But it's no surprise.

He must be getting pressure from voters over the delays.

As more time goes on, the American people will be asking questions.

Why can't the Senate approve Trump's picks?

Why are they taking so long?

Maybe we need to elect new people who can do their job.

The rest of Congress needs to wake up and learn from Warner.

Obstructing

the President's agenda is

only going

to hurt you.
