Trump news on Youtube Dec 3 2017

the memo team Trump in shock as Flynn flips president Trump was pitched into a

deepening crisis on Friday as his former national security adviser Michael Flynn

pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI and announced that he was cooperating with

the team of investigators spearheaded by Special Counsel Robert Mueller the news

which broke early on Friday morning delivered a seismic shock to the Trump

team terrible was the verdict of one source close to Trump speaking on

condition of anonymity the source added that Mueller's success in getting Flynn

to flip was very dangerous for the president the likelihood of Flynn

cooperating with Mueller had been on the rise since Thanksgiving when his

attorneys had told lawyers working for UMP that they could no longer share

information but the confirmation that the former national security adviser had

been turned by Mueller was a political and legal bombshell the atmosphere of

crisis gave rise to chaotic moments at one point a small group of reporters at

the White House assembled for a schedule of pool spray jargon for a brief

opportunity for photos and a shouted question or two as Trump met the Libyan

Prime Minister in the Oval Office they were then led back to the briefing

room without being led into the meeting there is no pool spray they were told by

White House spokeswoman Lindsey Walters Trump on Saturday morning told reporters

he's not worried about the Flint developments what has been shown is no

collusion he said when asked about Flynn there's

been absolutely no collusion so we're very happy the news all but obliterated

the coverage of a significant step forward for Republicans on Capitol Hill

as the Senate passed the party's tax reform plan the first significant

legislative achievement since the GOP took control of a unified government in

January the president's personal lawyer Ty Cobb put a positive spin on the Flynn

news in a statement he emphasized that Flynn had served as national security

adviser for a less in a month and also described him as a

former Obama administration official Cobb insisted that nothing about the

guilty plea or the charge implicates anyone other than mr. Flinn but behind

the scenes the atmosphere and trumps orbit was different

it makes the White House staff very nervous because no one exactly knows

where the investigation will lead next said one GOP strategist with close ties

to the administration Flynn's decision to cooperate comes

against the urgings of the President himself Yahoo News reported that Flynn

told supporters in April that Trump had encouraged him to stay strong the

previous month Trump had tweeted Mike Flynn should ask for immunity and that

this is a witch-hunt excuse for big election loss by media and beams of

historic proportion the argument that the Mueller investigation is a witch

hunt is now close to untenable legal documents filed in relation to Flynn's

plea deal assert that he lied to FBI agents about his conversations with in

Russian the ambassador to the US Sergey cos lyac during the transition

period after Trump's election victory according to the documents Flynn falsely

told the FBI that he had not asked the Russians to refrain from escalating the

situation in response to sanctions imposed by then President Obama he also

falsely denied encouraging Russia to derail a resolution at the United

Nations that was critical of Israel Mueller is boring deeper and deeper into

Trump's inner circle court documents for instance state that

Flynn had been directed by a very senior member of the presidential transition

team to contact representatives of foreign governments including Russia in

try to persuade them to delay the vote or defeat the resolution at the United

Nations multiple news outlets have reported that this person is Jared

Gunnar the president's son-in-law the Flint developments will also fuel

speculation about whether the president obstructed justice when he asked

FBI director James Comey to back off the Flint case as Comey has testified and

then fired him on Friday morning Comey raised eyebrows by tweeting a biblical

verse but let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an

ever-flowing stream Joyce Vance a former US Attorney for the Northern

District of Alabama noted that Flynn's lies to FBI agents will be widely

assumed to have some ulterior motive a false statement to the government

doesn't happen in a vacuum she said false statements happen to

cover up other problems other criminal conduct it seems very likely that Flynn

has a story to tell and now Mueller has given him the deal he was seeking or was

perhaps forced to accept of the three other people in Trump's orbit who have

been charged as part of Mueller's probe former Trump campaign chairman Paul

Manafort his associate Richard gates and former foreign policy adviser George

papadopolis only Papadopoulos is known to be cooperating with investigators

when news of Papadopoulos losses cooperation first broke in October more

senior figures around Trump took a measure of comfort from his relative

lack of standing in their world he was not regularly in contact with top level

campaign officials they insisted that is clearly not true of Flynn who was a key

campaign adviser and spoke on Trump's behalf at last year's Republican

National Convention in Cleveland where he led the crowd in a chant of lock her

up and reference to Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton Flynn's cooperation

means that Trump family members like gush nur as well as Trump himself should

he agreed to meet with investigators could be at risk according to experts

Harry Whitman a former Deputy Assistant Attorney General predicted on Friday

afternoon that Kushner and Trump are huddling with their lawyers right now

trying to figure out everything they ever said to Michael Flynn Libman added

it's not as if prosecutors are going to say Flynn thinks X what do you think if

Flynn said X and then they say why they could be in serious trouble

no one knows how much Mueller knows or whether other potential witnesses as yet

undiscovered are cooperating with him if people close to the president have

anything to hide that is in an Irving Vista for Trump

remember the central part the Flynn investigation has played in all the

maneuverings to date Whitman said well whatever Flynn knows Bob Mueller now

knows and whatever Mueller now knows eventually the country will know

Can Trump Put Hillary Clinton In Jail Over New Email Conspiracy Scandal? - Duration: 2:52.

Can Trump Put Hillary Clinton In Jail Over New Email Conspiracy Scandal?

President Donald Trump has long sought investigations into Democrat Hillary Clintons private

email server, but the billionaire Republicans latest attempt to publicize the scandal fell

flat this week.

Indeed, Trump cited a Fox News interview and report on a former inspector general for the

Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Charles McCullough, in two tweets Tuesday

and Wednesday to draw attention to accusations that thus far have only come from one source

and have not been proven at all.Trump tried to play up the accusations made by the ex-intelligence

community watchdog of a coordinated effort by Democrats, Clintons campaign

and the State Department to play down Clintons private email server and to threaten his job.

McCulloughs statements and comments about what he found while investigating emails Clinton

stored on a private server while she was Secretary of State were, on a surface level, damning.

He claimed a Clinton campaign official warned that if McCullough continued his probe he

would be dismissed from his post which President Barack Obama appointed him to should

Clinton win the presidency.

There was personal blowback.

Personal blowback to me, to my family, to my office, McCullough said.

Claiming then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper thought his findings were extremely

reckless on Clintons part, McCullough also said seven Democrats questioned if he

was politicizing the Clinton probe.

He also claimed they took umbrage with his labeling emails that went through Clintons

private server as above Top Secret, a distinction that would indicate Clinton

had endangered national security and intelligence secrets on a server not protected by the government.

McCullough explained how it was all an effort by Democrats, certain people at the State

Department and Clintons campaign to coordinate and downplay the allegations levied at the

former first lady as she aimed for the nations highest political office.

Im well-aware there was a strategic coordination between the campaign, McCullough

said, the State Department, certain officials at the State Department, certain law firms

in town, and people on Capitol Hill.

Trump lashed out at the so-called deep state the moniker branded upon longtime

government officials who conspiracy theorists accuse of political leanings whenever convenient

for protecting Clinton but neither he nor McCullough have offered any more evidence

than their own claims.

Lock her up became a signature phrase for Trumps successful campaign against

Clinton, but with little hard evidence that appears impossible at the moment.

BREAKING: Putin Just Made ULTIMATE Threat To President Trump… This Is Very BAD - Duration: 4:09.

BREAKING: Putin Just Made ULTIMATE Threat To President Trump This Is Very BAD

President Vladimir Putin warned that the standoff between North Korea and the United States

was close to spilling into a large-scale conflict and said it was a mistake to try to pressure

Pyongyang into halting its nuclear missile program.

The Russian leader, whose nuclear-capable bombers recently overflew the Korean Peninsula

in a show of force, said the situation had deteriorated so badly that it was now balanced

on the verge of a large-scale conflict.Putin refrained from outwardly criticizing President

Trump, but said the U.S. leader was not my bride, and Im not his groom.

Putin added North Korea would rather eat grass than abandon its nuclear and missile

program in order to feel safe among world leaders.

He also claimed leader Kim Jong Un was convinced he needed nuclear weapons to survive after

what happened in Iraq and Libya. At the Eastern Economic Forum held in Vladivostok this week,

Putin said that there would be no conflict with North Korea that would involve Weapons

of Mass Destruction, RT reports.

The build-up of some military atmosphere, hysteria, is counter productive, in my opinion.

It will lead to nothing, because what is happening now, of course, is a provocation from North

Korea.

This is quite obvious.

They are provoking the situation, but if they are doing it, they are not stupid people,

believe me.

So, they expect the corresponding reaction from their partners, and they achieve it.

Putin urged the U.S. and others to avoid going down a dead-end road with North Korea.

The Kremlin released a statement regarding North Korea and the United States:

Russia believes that the policy of putting pressure on Pyongyang to stop its nuclear

missile program is misguided and futile.

The regions problems should only be settled through a direct dialogue of all the parties

concerned without any preconditions.

Provocations, pressure and militarist and insulting rhetoric are a dead-end road.

Russias and Chinas ambassadors to the UN both said they were opposed to unilateral

sanctions on North Korea.

Instead, Moscow and Beijing repeated calls for the U.S. and South Korea to terminate

their so-called war games.

During the Eastern Economic Forum, Putin discussed North Korea and the United States, focusing

on warning that no WMDs will be used by the United States against North Korea.

We hope it will not come to a conflict with the use of wmds in North-East Asia,

there are possibilities to achieve the settlement of Pyongyangs problem by diplomatic means.

This is possible and MUST be done.

We must work together.

We can and must achieve positive results.

North Korea views the possession of atomic weapons and missile technology as their only

means of protection.

Do you honestly believe they will give it up now?

Russia and China have been very vocal that they are against any military action from

the United States towards North Korea.

The diplomatic means they say we must do, we have continued to use and place sanctions,

of which neither Russia or China has enforced.

We must look outside the box for the reasons behind China and Russia taking a stance against

the United States when it comes to North Korea.

China is in a power play in the South China Sea and it is the United States that is the

main road block against Chinas domination of the contested waters.

Roughly 5 trillion dollars of commerce is done through the South China Sea and China

wants it all.

Russia is furious with the United States over aiding and arming the Ukraine and putting

U.N. troops along their borders.

Tensions escalated between the United States and Russia after the Kremlin said the White

Houses decision to supply Ukraine with lethal weapons would set back peace efforts

John Dowd, Trump's Lawyer: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | CaCao TV - Duration: 9:17.

John Dowd, Trump's Lawyer: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

Akin Dowd/Business Insider John Dowds photo as it appeared on the Akin Gump law firms website (Akin Gump/Business Insider).

John Dowd is President Donald Trump's personal attorney, who got presumably unwanted media attention on Saturday after Trump made a Twitter postapparently admitting to obstruction of justice on his part, and source close to the situation claimed that Dowd was actually the author of that tweet.

Here's five things to know:.

John Dowd Got Pete Rose Kicked out of Baseball.

In 1989, baseball legend Pete Rose was banned for life from playing the game (then banned from baseball's Hall of Fame in 1991), after the discovery that Rose was placing bets on his own team.

John Dowd's late-1980s investigation into Rose's betting habits (published as "The Dowd Report") led to Rose's lifetime ban.

In 2007, when SuperLawyers.com ran an admiring profile piece on "John Dowd's hall of fame career," it focused mainly on Dowd's role representing Ted Williams (and specified that Dowd doesn't like talking about Rose at all).

Dowd said he had a great time hanging out with Williams, but investigating Rose wasn't nearly as much fun because "Once we got inside his inner circle, we saw that Pete was a much rougher character than anybody knew.".

In July 2017, Rose filed a defamation of character lawsuit against Dowd over statements Dowd made the year before, claiming that Rose had arranged for underage girls to be delivered to baseball training camps so Rose could commit statutory rape with them.

In October, Rose's lawyers dropped one point of contention from Rose's suit against Dowd; specifically, the contention that Dowd's accusations had cost Rose more than $300,000 in lost endorsement deals.

Dowd Only Joined Trump's Legal Team in June 2017. Trump hired John Dowd to join his legal team in June 2017, as Robert Mueller's special counsel investigations began heating up.

Dowd brought impressive credentials with him— he was a captain in the Marines, where he served as in the Judge Advocate Division, then left the Marines to become a prosecutor with the Department of Justice, serving as a trial attorney in the Tax Division and heading an Organized Crime Strike Force in the Criminal Division.

In his Dowd Report biography, the list of people he has successfully represented includes "a U.S. district judge, a former U.S. senators, and the governor of Arizona.".

Despite these impressive credentials, Bloomberg Businessweek looked at Trump's lawyers in August 2017 and concluded "Trump's Legal Team Is No Match for Mueller's," in part because Dowd, for all his ability, brought only his own ability to Trump's team (as opposed to the far greater resources enjoyed by Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, the high-powered law firm where Dowd had recently been a partner.

Nicholas Allard, dean of the Brooklyn Law School, told Bloomberg that trying to fend off Mueller without a high-powered legal team would be like "going to a knife fight with a stick of butter in your hand.".

Dowd Represented John McCain in the Keating Five Scandal.

The collapse of the savings and loan industry was one of the major American financial scandals of the 1980s, which spawned multiple sub-scandals including the story of the so-called "Keating Five": five sitting U.S.

Senators were accused to trying to persuade federal regulators to back away from investigating Charles Keating, whose Lincoln Savings and Loan collapse cost U.S. taxpayers $3.4 billion (in late-1980s dollars).

Before Lincoln's collapse, Charles Keating was a major benefactor for various political campaigns, including the five senators accused to trying to protect him.

Of the Keating Five senators, the only one still in the Senate today is John McCain –who, when the Keating Five investigations first started, hired John Dowd as his attorney. (McCain was eventually cleared of wrongdoing.).

The other four members of the Keating Five–Senators Alan Cranston of California, Dennis DeConcini of Arizona, John Glenn of Ohio and Donald Riegle of Michigan–retired in the 1990s. Charles Keating died in 2014 at the age of 90.

After the Charlottesville Nazi Rally, he Said There was 'Literally no Difference' Between George Washington and Robert E.Lee. Lee. Or possibly George Washington. (Getty).

After the now-notorious "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, last summer, President Trump faced bizarre criticism for his obvious reluctance to unequivocally condemn even the literal swastika-waving Nazis who ostensibly were protesting the removal of a statue of Robert E. Lee.

Dowd, who was the president's personal lawyer by then, generated controversy of his own when he apparently attempted to defend his boss by forwarding an email to government officials and conservative media journalists saying "You cannot be against General Lee and be for General Washington, there literally is no difference between the two men.

" The email also said that Black Lives Matter is led by terrorists.

Dowd did not write the email; its author was Jerome Almon, a conspiracy theorist who, according to the New York Times, runs several websites alleging sundry government conspiracies, including the belief that the FBI has been infiltrated by Islamic terrorists.

He also tried (unsuccessfully) to sue the State Department for $900 million over discrimination claims. Almon told the New York Times that when he sent Dowd the email, he hoped it would ultimately come to the attention of President Trump.

Dowd Supposedly Authored Trump's Tweet to Make Trump Look Better.

On Saturday, the day after Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI, Donald Trump took to Twitter with a remark widely considered by legal observers to be an admission of obstruction of justice: "I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI.

He has pled guilty to those lies. It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!".

But according to anonymous sources speaking to various media outlets, Dowd was actually the one who wrote that tweet, thinking to help his client.

CBS News explained it this way: "Dowd meant to convey that Flynn was fired for lying to Pence and other White House officials about his conversations with Kislyak, and 'now we know' that he lied to the FBI, according to these sources.

But Dowd bungled the tweet and created confusion around Mr Trump's knowledge of events.". Not everybody bought this story, however. As one attorney noted on Twitter: "We're supposed to believe John Dowd wrote pled instead of pleaded?".

BOOM! Check Out How Much Money Trump Personally Donated To Texas.. Obama Donated NOTHING - Duration: 4:37.

BOOM!

Check Out How Much Money Trump Personally Donated To Texas..

Obama Donated NOTHING President Donald Trump will personally donate

$1 MILLION to Tropical Storm Harvey recovery efforts, White House Press Secretary Sarah

Huckabee Sanders said Thursday.

When NBCs Hallie Jackson asked if the president and his family have made any contributions

to help victims of the storm, Sanders said, He would like to join in the efforts that

a lot of the people that weve seen across this country do.

In fact, he donated a million dollars you liberal NBC scumbag ahole. From the press briefing:

Q And just one more on Harvey, Sarah.

Theres obviously been a huge outpouring of support from people all around the country

for the victims of Harvey.

Youve seen people lining up to volunteer, and youve seen people donating tens of

millions of dollars.

Can you speak to what the President and his family have done regarding donations for Harvey

relief, personally?MS.

SANDERS: Yes I can.

I had a chance to speak directly with the President earlier, and Im happy to tell

you that he would like to join in the efforts that a lot of the people that weve seen

across this country do.

And hes pledging a million dollars of personal money to the fund.

And hes actually asked that I check with the folks in this room, since you are very

good at research and have been doing a lot of reporting into the groups and organizations

that are best and most effective in helping and providing aid, and hed love some suggestions

from the folks here, and Id be happy to take those if any of you have them.

Sanders said the president is proud to support the people of Texas and Louisiana.

The Hill noted that Sanders was also asked if the funds would come directly from the

president or from the Trump Foundation.

Sanders replied, I know that the president, he said he was personally going to give, I

dont know the legal part of exactly that but he said his personal money so I would

assume that comes directly from him.

But as I said, hell pledge probably a million dollars of his own personal money to help

the people of both Texas and Louisiana.

What has Obama Or Clinton done?

Absolutely NOTHING!

As AMERICAS FREEDOM FIGHTERS reported, as usual, Obama never lets a good tragedy

go to waste, using it as an opportunity to bring attention to himself and how great he

thinks he is.

Hurricane Harvey is no exception.

In an effort to maintain relevance, Obama decides to insert himself into the disaster

relief, behaving as though he is still Commander in Chief, thanking people for their

efforts during the storm.

It seems that attention would have been appreciated by the good folks of Baton Rouge when they

were being flooded while he was actually president, except he was too busy golfing to be bothered. His

lefty loony band of sycophants were there to stroke Obamas massive ego, telling him

just how wonderful he is.

Meanwhile, here on earth?

The rest of us know better. In spite of Obama and his incessant jabbering and ego stroking,

the American people are rising up as they always do to help their neighbors.

When devastating hurricanes hit the Gulf, especially the good folks of Louisiana, the

folks of Texas have been ready and willing to lend a hand.

Now that Texas is on the receiving end and suffering at the hands of Hurricane Harvey,

Louisiana and other parts of the South are rising up to help their fallen neighbor.

The Cajun Navy has been resurrected to come to the aide of Texans in needs and

these heroes are determined to lend a hand where needed and save as many lives as they

can in the process.

They are truly the epitome of the American spirit.

Louisianans have a long memory and they definitely remember the many natural disasters that have

struck their home from hurricanes, floods, tropical storms, and other acts of nature,

Texans have come to the aid of their Eastern neighbors time and time again.

Now Louisianans are glad to repay that kindness with folks from around Baton Rouge, Lafayette

and other parts of the state with members of the Cajun Navy springing into action to

help folks in need.

Many of these folks spent last August helping wading around south Louisianas floodwaters

in boats to help the good folks of Baton Rouge as they were dealing with the effects of massive

floods.

Now they are packing up their boats and headed west to help rescue Texans caught in the floods.

Trump Just Pulled The Plug On Obama's "Bad Muslim Deal" Overnight – Let The Riots Begin! - Duration: 5:09.

In the last days of Barack Obama's administration, he did all he could to continue to destroy

America.

The list of disgusting things Obama did before Donald Trump was inaugurated truly turned

conservative America's stomach.

However, there is one deal that Obama struck that may not see the light of day, and it

could not happen at a better time.

Over the last several months there has been an increase in terrorist activity from refugees

around the world.

Countries such as England, Sweden, and Germany have been regularly attacked by Islamic extremists,

and there appears to be no end in sight.

Instead of these countries ending these insane refugee programs that are putting citizens

at risk, they continue to allow these terrorists to flood through their borders.

America was facing the same dilemma under the Obama administration, as he did all he

could to destroy America with sick policies.

In Obama's last days of his presidency, he went into hyperdrive pushing one bad deal

after another.

Obama not only practically emptied terrorists out of Guantanamo Bay, but he also was busted

giving $418 million dollars of weapons to Kenya.

Another one of those bad deals Obama made in his last days of office was when he decided

to fast-track thousands of rejected Muslim refugees into America.

The covert deal was hammered out by then Secretary of State, John Kerry who did his best to try

and bring these refugees to America ahead of schedule.

Can you guess where all these refugees hailed from?

You guessed it, terrorist hotbeds such as Iran, Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Sudan.

Now, President Trump seems to be pumping the brakes on this insane deal, and you can be

sure the left will lose their minds.

Here is more from Reuters:

U.S. officials interviewing refugees held in an Australian-run offshore detention center

left the facility abruptly, three detainees told Reuters on Saturday, throwing further

doubt over a plan to resettle many of the detainees in America.

U.S. officials halted screening interviews and departed the Pacific island of Nauru on

Friday, two weeks short of their scheduled timetable and a day after Washington said

the United States had reached its annual refugee intake cap.

"U.S. (officials) were scheduled to be on Nauru until July 26 but they left on Friday,"

one refugee told Reuters, requesting anonymity as he did not want to jeopardize his application

for U.S. resettlement.

In the United States, a senior member of the union that represents refugee officers at

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), a Department of Homeland Security

agency, told Reuters his own trip to Nauru was not going forward as scheduled.

Jason Marks, chief steward of the American Federation of Government Employees Local 1924,

told Reuters his trip has now been pushed back and it was unclear whether it will actually

happen.

The USCIS said on Saturday that the program would continue but offered no details.

"We do not discuss the exact dates of USCIS' circuit rides to adjudicate refugees' applications.

However, we are planning return trips," the agency said in a statement.

"It is not uncommon for the dates of tentatively planned refugee circuit ride trips worldwide

to change due to a wide variety of factors."

The Australian Immigration Department declined to comment on the whereabouts of the U.S.

officials or the future of a refugee swap agreement between Australia and the United

States that President Donald Trump earlier this year branded a "dumb deal".

Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop said on Sunday the deal was progressing as expected,

reiterating the government had assurances from the Trump administration.

"The quota will roll over again on October 1 as I said, and I expect that the United

States will adhere to this agreement, as the president promised," she told the Australian

Broadcasting Corp.

This deal should not go through no matter what and it appears from this report it is

beginning to fall apart.

There is no reason that we should take in these refugees at all under any circumstances.

These refugees are known to be from terrorist hotspots and the last thing we need is any

more terror threats.

This deal should be scrapped and let Australia deal with the crisis they have created themselves.

Obama had no business making this sort of deal when he was on the way out of office.

President Trump has every right to deny this shoddy deal since that is what the American

people elected him to do.

The days of allowing every Muslim refugee into America need to end, and right away.

The only way we will be able to get our country back on track is by halting all these insane

policies that liberals implemented over the years.

If they want to riot because of it then so be it, they then can be arrested and sit in

jail for their own terrorist activities.

It is now the time that we close our borders until further notice, and if the left doesn't

like it, well, there is the door.

U.S. Senate approves massive tax cuts, Trump expects to finalize bill by Christmas - Duration: 0:44.

In the United States,... the Senate has approved what would be the country's most significant

tax overhaul in more than 30 years.

It was passed on Saturday in a 51-to-49 vote with no support from the Democrats and one

Republican defection.

The Senate plan would cut the corporate tax rate from the current 35 percent to 20 percent.

There would also be tax breaks for individuals, but the Senate plan still differs with the

House plan in some areas.

Some lawmakers are concerned it would add about a trillion dollars to the U.S. deficit

over the next ten years.

President Trump thanked the House and Senate Republicans on Twitter, saying he expects

the plan will be finalized by Christmas.

I think that phrase is overused a busy news day

We say it every day like today really is there's a lot going on and especially if you're checking the president's Twitter feed

And one of the things he jumped on was the fact that ABC News has now suspended

Brian Ross for a month with no pay after what was billed as a

Bombshell report on Friday morning that turned out to be fake News ABC putting out a statement

We deeply regret and apologize for the serious error. We made yesterday. This is Sunday about Friday

The reporting conveyed by Brian Ross store in the special report had not been fully vetted through our editorial standards process

That's the key part there

Which is that and we'll get to the president's reaction in a minute which is to set this up on Friday about 11:00 a.m.

The news breaks earlier in the morning that general Flynn is going to plead guilty to lying to the FBI

What does this mean well ABC goes with a special report?

from Brian Ross saying that it means that general Flynn according on a source close to him is going to turn on the President and

Say that during the campaign

themselves

By the way the way they conduct themselves and the sella tree with which they pursue anything that impugns president Trump and tries to make

But anything that would because it's not just about Brian Ross other side

ABC News says in their statement this did not go through our standards. We didn't vet this we'll wait a second

This is not a minor story. This is a major news day on Friday

It's a story suggesting there was collusion in the campaign AHA

We finally have this is it because there are people in newsrooms. Who when there's an anti-trump story that fits their narrative

They say yeah, this this must be true remember. There was one source close to Flynn and it was wrong

He was the new it's almost like they're cheerleading

You wonder why so why did it not go through that in all process we heard there

isn't as much of a process as you think maybe there is maybe they were just

Can win on taxes in the Senate off the headlines?

They wanted a rush to it so they could get that story off the headline

Jumped on that this morning saying in a tweet quote people who lost money when the stock market went down

350 points based on the false and dishonest reporting a Brian Ross of ABC News he's been suspended

Should consider hiring a lawyer and suing ABC for the damages this bad reporting has caused many millions of dollars

And we had a couple guests saying well, maybe he's half joking maybe not he says someone for that

In America you could sue anybody for anything

He's saying fake news has real-life consequences people's bank accounts went down because of a false and ideologically motivated I believe

report and here's why it matters because this is part of a bigger question about whether the investigation of President Trump has been fair and

Whether or not the investigation of Hillary Clinton and her email ever'one server ever was fair was ever thorough by mr.

James Comey who is now out there on Twitter saying that he's a voice of truth and reason

But in fact we learn overnight our own James Rosen and others are reporting about the fact that an FBI agent

Who is detailed to the robert muller probe has now been pulled?

Why is he been pulled because it turns out that he was caught sending text messages?

another FBI official that were anti-trump hate-filled

Anti-trump and pro-clinton and we learned before he was ever on the mauler probe. What was he doing yeah?

He was at he was his name is Peter stork

I think we're pronouncing that correctly may not be he's been at the FBI for years

Counterintelligence and others so this isn't his first rodeo and the first the previous two rodeos for this particular agent were the Clinton email

investigation and the FBI

Investigation into the Trump dossier that was doctored to begin with so if you've got Clinton folks paying for a dossier that makes its way

To an FBI agent who's a Clinton supporter and then before that had interviewed Hillary Clinton famously?

about her email scandal

And it was a white glove

Interview that had already been predetermined because they'd already written two months earlier that they were gonna exonerate her debrief call me about that interview

and even before

James Comey drafted that statement exonerating Hillary Clinton a couple months before they even did the interview right? This is not just any run-of-the-mill

Agent inside the FBI this guy was all over the high level very high level

Which is why representative Nunez when he heard that this person was pulled from the investigation wanted to know?

why and he was sewn walled on it looks like

They did not let him see why and it only came out now what it just came out now

Here's a statement from Devon Nunez he says by hiding from Congress and from

the American people documented political bias by a key FBI had investigated us a key part head investigator

For both the Russia collusion probe and the Clinton email investigation the FBI and DOJ engaged in a willful attempt to thwart Congress's constitutional

Oversight responsibilities to your point. Well you Rachel that you were making is this guy wasn't pulled off the the Muller

Investigation yesterday that was about six months ago

We're just now learning why he was pulled off the investigation fight Devon Nunez and others have been trying to get that information

They haven't Stonewall because it looks really bad boy

Where's this investigator has political bias?

Well hang on one second though so the agent who was mixed up in the Clinton probe and maybe didn't do a fair thorough job

Because he was Pro Clinton then goes to the molar probe and his investigating president Trump even though

He's anti Trump gets pulled from there. Where's he now what's his new job the HR department in the FBI

We're not making this up. He works at the FBI HR department in charge of Human Resources fact

That's crazy wait Greg Jarvis. We had him on and he talked about this

contempt that

Devon newness and and and others in Congress are calling for

And also we asked them what look at what we should do at this point in the investigation

Knowing what we know now about how unfair it's been

The Department of Justice the FBI and to some extent robert muller been trying to hide it from congress and

That is that constitutes contempt chairman newness of the House Intelligence Committee

Needs to pursue the contempt citation have Congress vote on it refer to a federal judge

For prosecution against rot Rosenstein and christopher ray the FBI director because they're the ones who've been

Obstructing it and I guarantee you this FBI agent Peter Stroh's when he's put under oath will invoke the fifth

How deep does the deep state go and you feel if you feel like your justice is being politicized?

Then you don't actually have the rule of law you have ideologues in government

We're willing to

Overturn and take on the sitting and elected president of the United the current head of the Justice Department attorney general Jeff Sessions put out

a statement last night after all of these facts are merged saying that he thinks this merits more review now does that mean they're just

gonna do some behind-the-scenes review in Washington that sits on a desk somewhere or

Will they?

Appoint a second special counsel that says let's figure out what happened this FBI there's an investigation into the investigation

Just to me when I look at this

I have to look at the FBI

And I say this whole thing needs to be cleaned up, and maybe that's the call for the president right now

maybe need to clean up a lot of swamps being drained but

Learn about a new swamp that you didn't think was a swamp

That's where there are people embedded in government with ideological

Motives in this case protecting the Clintons and going after that I leave you with James Comey who tweeted yesterday that he wanted to paraphrase

The Buddha three things cannot be long hidden the Sun the moon, and the truth well James called me

Did you get at the truth and the Clinton investigation doesn't sound like it the deep thoughts deep thoughts deep thoughts from Henry

I'm just quoting James Comey whose quote minute quoting or paraphrasing Buddha

Well turning now to your headlines and a few

moments ago police

Confirming one person is in custody after a driver hit and killed one person and injured at least five others in New York City

Police say the driver targeted the victims outside of a Queens nightclub reportedly after a knife fight the NYPD

Does not believe terror is suspected the incident comes just weeks after a terrorist plot a pic into a pickup truck

through a busy bike path in Manhattan killing eight people a

Spirit a moment on the basketball court medical personnel racing to save the life of a player who collapsed on the floor

And there is tremendous concern for the young man, who is

Who was on the floor there in front of the South Carolina State bench

An athletic trainer performing CPR on ty Salomon of South Carolina State reviving him as he lay unconscious

Medics say he went into cardiac arrest

He's now conscious and alert in a hospital and House GOP leaders unveiling their plan to avoid a government shutdown

The measure would give more time for a bipartisan talk on a bigger budget

Agreement Democrats say they will not vote for a bill without a plan to protect the children of immigrants

But Republicans also have some concerns some saying that they're being set up for a pre-christmas deal

producers

They were undefeated and they went down

But you guys are leading you've been leading an effort or a campaign to keep in that fourth spot

What what team has a UCF they it's Central, Florida?

They're they're one of the only maybe the only undefeated team 12 now 12, and oh they 162 to 55 yesterday

They beat Memphis number 16 team in the conference event exciting a lot of points where time gained a lot of points if you win

Every game in the season shouldn't you be in that Wisconsin was undefeated? That's what kept them in the playoff run now

They're not so what about the small schools. Let's fight feel a little guy

Let's give them the fourth spot you see the forgotten man. Have you forgotten program?

We'll see if they get a shot

Keep emailing us friends at foxnews.com about that Congress getting back to work tomorrow on tax cuts for the American people

But will they be able to deliver that Christmas president House Majority Whip Steve Scalise on where his chamber stands next

Thing back to work on tax cuts tomorrow the Senate narrowly passed the most sweeping changes to your taxes in decades

But there are still many differences to reconcile as the House and Senate head to conference committee

So will they be able to deliver that Christmas present. Let's ask GOP congressmen and House Majority Whip Steve Scalise Carson

Thanks for being here life always great to see you

I hope your recovery continues to go well obviously you've still been working hard

And you guys will continue to work hard because it's going to a conference committee. What are the key?

What are the key items that you're gonna be the house is going to be focused on delivering?

Well first good to be with you the biggest things are to lower tax rates for families

To make our country competitive again and look. I don't think anybody can overstate how important it

Is that when we cut the corporate rate right now?

We have the highest corporate rate in the industrialized world and it's killing jobs

We see thousands of jobs move overseas every year with big companies moving to Ireland, Canada

We're gonna finally stop that and reverse that trend and bring those jobs back home to America

So if you look at the House and Senate bill both of us are pretty close on that there are some areas where we disagree

I would like to see a full repeal of the death tax that's something that really hurts small businesses

It's it's probably the most unfair tax in the code

Streamlining it simplifying the code is so important in our bill over

90% of Americans will actually be able to do their taxes on a postcard so when you look at the differences

They're not that big

But there are some

Key significant differences that the House and Senate need to work out we're gonna vote Monday to go to conference committee

I'm glad that the Senate passed a bill now

Let's get the differences worked out and get that on president Trump's desk by Christmas congressman

I want to ask you a quick question

we all know you just went through yourself a horrific health scare beyond that I mean this was just a

Tragic situation and you've come back so strong when you look at the medical

Deductions that the House version as I recall wants to eliminate that deduction the Senate wants to expand it temporarily for two years

Do you think that you can really eliminate that when there are people around the country struggling with medical costs?

Well, we're gonna look at that, but one thing you've got to keep in mind in our bill

We actually double the standard deduction so right now. It's at

$12,000 for a family we go up to

$24,000 for a family that's going to cover a lot of people's medical expenses again

We're gonna look at all these other differences in conference, but doubling the standard deduction

And we have a Family Tax Credit in

Addition to other things we reinstated the adoption Tax Credit a lot of those things are gonna help

Middle-class families who have been struggling who haven't seen wage growth in a long time?

Not only under our bill is the average family gonna get over?

$1,200 a year back in their pockets from tax cuts. They're also gonna see wage growth estimates are about about

$2,500 a family in wage growth that we're gonna see just by getting the economy moving in congressman how about the repeal of the individual?

Mandate in Obamacare it was in the Senate version. Not in the House version will we see it in the in the reconcile I?

Think that's gonna be a real important point of this discussion

I would surely like to see not only the individual mandate repealed

But we need to continue moving and repeal and replace Obamacare like we passed in the House

President Trump has been really supportive of this because he sees how families are struggling under

dramatically increased costs for health care because of Obama care and the fewer choices that people have in fact in many states you're seeing where

nobody's gonna provide insurance under Obama care companies won't even write policies congressman continued

We need to continue working on that last question. We got 30 seconds are people gonna get this by Christmas

Are you gonna get it done, or is there gonna be a lump of coal in the stocking?

We're gonna get this for Christmas look. It's been a lump of coal for eight years under Obama

We finally have a great president President Trump, who wants to get the economy moving again

And what's to provide real relief for middle-class families who are struggling this bill delivers?

It'll be a great Christmas present

And you're gonna see this economy take off next year be the best New Year's resolution

We can have and the best Christmas present actually is you back healthy with your family?

We're happy for that and everybody should be thankful all across. We're blessed

I appreciate all the prayers and just lucky to be alive and really looking forward to a great Christmas Christmas confident

Thanks a lot same to y'all well

Could the household the DOJ and FBI in contempt one lawmaker says politics has tainted Trump or Clinton and Trump

Investigations, so what now we'll bring it to you

Okay, so we've all heard of Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory which shows how humans prioritize certain desires and love and belonging

Is right smack in the middle, but these days the middle isn't enough our next guest says that

expectations have shifted to make it actually higher on the pyramid Eli Finkel the author of the

All-or-nothing marriage is here

And he joins me now so you say that in your book the quote the average marriage has been getting worse over time

However, the best marriages today are better than the best marriages of earlier eras indeed

They are the best marriages the world has ever known

I think that's such great news, and so I think as I we're reading about this book

It seems like it's kind of the best practices of the best marriages

Yeah, it's it's a book that talks about the way marriage has changed over time the way

We've our expectations have changed from the bottom of Maslow's hierarchy up to the top of Maslow's hierarchy and as a result

It's harder to have a it's harder to have a fulfilling marriage than it was in the past

But for those of us who get it right the level of fulfillment is really special

Some people feel like we're asking too much out of marriage right that we want our

Partner to be our best friend to share all our hobbies to be you know super cooperative on all the duties that

Surround marriage and children, so how do we manage?

Expectations in a marriage so that we can all be happy yeah

I mean the truth is having high expectations puts puts us at risk because

The higher the expectations the more likely we are to be disappointed by what we get and it's for that reason that

Many of us are unhappy today in a marriage that would have been fulfilling for us say in the 1950s for example

But it's also

Expectations that lead us to push for something special that lead us to try to say look

We can achieve something truly great here and because we're able to push like that

We can achieve this level of fulfillment that was out of reach previously so you you talk about in the book

how we can reframe things so for example if you say my husband is late because

Then you can say he's late because he's a thoughtless jerk. Yeah well

You could change it and say you know he really wants to get home. He's just stuck in traffic exactly

We have a good deal of freedom and autonomy to decide

How we're going to try to explain?

Why he or she forgot something that was important to us?

Why he or she decided to do something generous for us, and if we want to have a fulfilling marriage?

We want to be happy in the relationship

Making generous sort of explanations for our partners behavior is a huge

Trump denies asking FBI to drop Flynn inquiry - Duration: 4:10.

You know the news US president Donald Trump has taken to Twitter to tear into the nation's FBI

Trump tweeted after years of Comey with the phony and dishonest Clinton

Investigation running the FBI its reputation is in tatters

The worst in history, but fear not we will bring it back to greatness

The attack comes as Trump denied asking the former FBI director James Comey to drop an investigation into his fired

National Security Advisor Michael Flynn Trump tweeted

I have never asked Comey to stop investigating things. Just more fake news covering another Comey lie and

Earlier Trump changed part of his story about why he fired Flynn

The former general has pleaded guilty to the federal offense of lying to the FBI. He is cooperating with the investigation

into

possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia

Trump said there had been an erosion of trust between them

But now Trump says the dismissal was because Flynn had lied to both his vice president and the FBI

Scott Lucas is a professor of international politics at Birmingham University and joins us now

Thanks so much for joining us and professor Scott now

What impact does this tweet have on Trump and Robert Mueller's investigations?

Well if you take the tweets all through the weekend what you got is an increasingly desperate trunk

That's for two reasons first of course Michael Flint's guilty plea in cooperation with Nora

Can only point upward the next target for moer will probably be Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner

And we're getting more and more evidence of contacts between the Russians and Trump's inner circle

But secondly Trump compounded this yesterday with a tweet when he said he knew Michael Flynn had lied to the FBI

he opened himself up to obstruction of justice charges, and that is of course because

he

according to James Comey told the FBI director to drop an investigation into fly and

Dropping an investigation into someone who's accused of a felony is

clear obstruction of justice

So that's why we have what Trump is doing today. He is attacking Comey. He's attacking the FBI

He's in directly attacking Special Counsel Robert Muller because the only way the only way that Trump escapes this

investigation without being forced to resign is

To undermine its credibility, and we're seeing the first wave of that okay now

What is likely to happen to Trump if he did indeed know that Flint had lied to the FBI?

We know that Moeller has been

investigating Donald Trump for months over possible obstruction of justice including the firing of James Comey as FBI director in May

if Trump

went to call me in February the day after Flynn had been dismissed and told Comey to drop the

investigation that is interference in the trust from Trump, Russia inquiry that is possible obstruction of justice

He cannot be charged with a criminal charge for that while he was president, but it is a political charge

That would probably lead to his impeachment

Okay, and just a bit more in detail. What would be next exactly for Trump will he be able to recover from this I?

Mean, I there are two fronts here one front is as we've seen with the passage through the Senate of the tax cut proposal oh

Yes, there's still some Authority for Trump. The problem is is that the Trump Russian investigation? I think will gather pace

I do think Jared Kushner could well be the next person who really would be a high-profile

Possible indictment in the spring and at that point Trump really has the final choice

Does he resign before he is impeached? I do not see him escaping the Trump Russia charges

Not as good as Robert Morris and not while we have as much evidence as we see accumulating okay

Thanks so much for that analysis. That was Scott Lucas a professor of international politics at Birmingham a University

Harvard Law Professor Dershowitz DEMOLISHED Mueller's Anti-Trump Case! – "Show Of Weakness" - Duration: 3:03.

Harvard Law Professor Dershowitz DEMOLISHED Muellers Anti-Trump Case! Show Of

Weakness The lack of proof and the abundance of arrogance

have left the liberals in great trouble after Flynn falsely confessed that he has been given

an order from President Trump to contact with a Russian ambassador.

On Saturday, Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz appeared on Fox News Channels Fox & Friends

to discuss this question and to give America a personal opinion based on his supreme legal

knowledge.

Professor Dershowitz said that former Trump National Security Adviser Michael Flynn pleading

guilty is a show of weakness showed by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

Professor Dershowitz said, Well, the last thing any prosecutor wants to do is to have

to indict his primary witness for lying. Because if you indict your witness for lying, it really

means hes not useful as a witness, he has no credibility. Im sure the prosecutor

was trying to indict him for some scheme or conspiracy that involved other people in the

White House, but there is nothing there, and he had to, finally come down and indict him

for lying, which makes him a useless witness. So, this is not a show of strength by the

prosecutor. Its a show of weakness. Its a show that they really have nothing on anybody

above of Flynn and that Flynn made the terrible mistake about lying about something he could

have told truth about. Because the two things he lied about were perfectly lawful and perfectly

proper for somebody to do during the transition. And so, I think it really reflects a weakness,

not a strength in Muellers prosecution.continued, Now, they still may be able to use him

to lead to other witnesses or to get documentary evidence or to give them leads, but hes

no good as a witness. Because hes obviously sold himself to protect his own son, and hes

prepared not only to sing but perhaps even to compose and [unintelligible] to exaggerate

if he thinks that will get him a better deal from the prosecutor. So, if Im a defense

lawyer, I have no trouble destroying his credibility on the witness stand.

After this, Professor Dershowitz concluded that Mueller is going on the domino theory,

one domino at the time. You go for the lowest-hanging fruit. You indict people for lying to the

FBI, failing to fill out the proper forms. These are forms of essentially political jaywalking,

then you squeeze them and you hope that maybe theyll give you information that would

lead to somebody higher up. But in the end, it hopes over reality. So, I would not say

this is a day for celebrating for the prosecution in the Mueller office.

He is 100 perrsent right. Mueller has shown a sign of weakness and he and his whole circle

is going down like the domino effect.

President Trump Just Dropped A Whopping 2×4 Of Reality On Sanctuary Cities, Illegals Are Panicking - Duration: 4:45.

Bombshell!

President Trump Just Dropped A Whopping 24 Of Reality On Sanctuary Cities, Illegals Are

Panicking Conspiracy to violent federal laws is a conspicuous

wrongdoing.

That is unless you are a liberal.

At that point, you have free limits to do as you wish as long as it is with the help

of unlawful migrants.

On the off chance that that arrangement of articulations sounds like gibberish, this

is on account of it is.

However, it has been a continuous supposition by the left in this fight over controlling

section to the United States.

The entire idea of sanctuary cities is lunacy.

It depends on the commence that state and local jurisdictions can choose which government

laws apply to their areas and which dont.

On the off chance that you cherish rebellion, this would speak to you.

Else, it ought to be detestable.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions put these supposed haven sanctuary cities on seeing that they

have one final chance to change their status and coordinate with government experts implementing

elected laws previously elected assets are sliced off to them.

One could ask why criminal accusations are not being sought after also.

The Department of Justice issued a statement saying it was the last chance for cities

to demonstrate compliance with 8 U.S.C. 1373.

That section, part of the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of

1996, which was signed into law by President Bill Clinton, dictates that jurisdictions

may not prohibit, or in any way restrict, any government entity or official from information

regarding the citizenship or immigration status, lawful or unlawful, of any individual.

THE CITIES BEING GIVEN THE ULTIMATUM COMPLY OR HAVE YOUR ELIGIBILITY TO RECEIVE FEDERAL

GRANTS REVIEWED INCLUDE NEW YORK, CHICAGO, NEW ORLEANS, AND PHILADELPHIA, ALONG WITH

COOK COUNTY IN ILLINOIS.

As an aside, it is fairly pleased that the Trump administration is upholding a law marked

by Bill Clinton against jurisdictions led by liberals.

As these pages have noted beforehand, this entire sanctuary city movement is simply a

voter drive by liberals.

Its an exceptionally basic arrangement.

Bring illegals into the nation.

Provide them with the haven they have to maintain a strategic distance from expulsion.

Provide them with liberal welfare benefits.

At that point figure out how to give them the privilege to vote so they can compensate

the left for their liberality with citizen stores.

Result?

Moment Democrats, maybe by the millions.

Will any of these jurisdictions change their strategies?

Most likely not.

Rather than getting inconsistency with the law, they will no uncertainty sue with an

end goal to keep their appropriations.

Note that among those cities said is Chicago, administered by previous Obama official Rahm

Emanuel.

It remains as a landmark to liberal misgovernment as it is buried in profound budgetary issues.

Be that as it may, not obviously sufficiently awful yet to influence the organization to

agree to government law to guarantee severely required sponsorships proceed.

Just look at the sort of folks these sanctuary cities are sheltering: The Department listed

infractions in which these entities refused to honor detainers to hold illegal immigrants

with criminal records.

Some of the detainers that were refused by sanctuary cities involve individuals who

are accused of very serious crimes, including arson, violent assaults, or in the case of

Philadelphia, even homicide!

Sessions has it right.

Jurisdictions that adopt so-called sanctuary policies also adopt the view that the protection

of criminal aliens is more important than the protection of law-abiding citizens and

of the rule of law, Sessions said in a statement accompanying the ultimatum.

So what we have are fiscally lashed purviews abusing government law and imperiling their

nationals so as to protect illegal aliens, some of whom are brutal lawbreakers, from

extradition.

This, in a daintily masked voter drive for the Democrats.

The left claims this whole upset unlawful immigrants and the open borders that assistance

makes the issue.

They and all others should be helped to remember this reality all the time.

What do you think about this?

Do not hesitate and write your thoughts in the comment section below.

ABC Almost Crashed the Stock Market With Fake News about President Trump - Duration: 4:31.

The Dow Jones had a down day on Friday, and America can blame ABC News for it.

On Friday, the Dow Jones session ended nearly 40 points lower for the day, but it had gotten

off to a good start.

it was up at the start of the session, and then word hit of a story by Brian Ross of

ABC News, which said then-candidate Donald Trump had personally directed Michael Flynn

to contact the Russian government.

That report directly contradicted Trump's previous statements, and made it appear as

if the President had, in fact, colluded with Russia prior to the election.

After the ABC story posted near the noon hour, the Dow Jones took a nosedive of 350 points,

as investors worried about what the bombshell meant for the Trump presidency.

Within an hour of the story being reported, several other media sources contradicted the

story.

In short order, ABC News clarified the original story, stating that candidate Trump had not

directed Flynn to contact Russian officials, but rather, it was President-elect Trump who

told Flynn to reach out to Russia.

That is exactly what President Trump said he had done, and it is something any President-elect

is expected to do.

By claiming the actions took place before the election, however, ABC News made a scandal

out of a "nothingburger."

After ABC News clarified the original story, the Dow Jones began to rebound, as investors'

fears were eased.

However, the damage had been done.

The market could not rally quickly enough to move into positive territory, and the market

closed the day in the red.

Chuck Ross of The Daily Caller provides details.

ABC News is making a significant correction to a report it did on former national security

adviser Michael Flynn that sent shockwaves across social media and financial markets

on Friday.

Brian Ross, a veteran journalist at ABC News, reported earlier in the day that a source

close to Flynn said that the retired lieutenant general was prepared to testify that during

the campaign Donald Trump instructed him to make contact with Russian government officials.

The report came out after Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his contacts during

the presidential transition period with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller found that Flynn lied to the FBI during a Jan. 24 interview

on the topic.

The stock market plummeted more than 350 points after the ABC News report, seemingly because

it undercut Trump's longstanding claim that he did not order anyone to contact the Russians

prior to the election.

The source for Ross's report appears to have been Richard Frankel, former senior aide

to Flynn and an ABC News contributor.

After Ross's segment, ABC News published an article quoting Frankel at length.

"I don't know how much General Flynn knows about any criminal activity that took place

during the campaign or in the White House," said Frankel, who retired earlier this year

from a senior role at the FBI.

"However, General Flynn was a top adviser to President Trump in the campaign and a top

adviser to him when he entered into the WH so if there are bodies buried so to speak,

General Flynn would know about them in my opinion."

The Daily Caller reached Frankel after Ross's initial report.

"I have not had discussion with the General regarding these issues.

I cannot comment in that I am with ABC News," he said through email.

Ross issued a "clarification" to his report on ABC "World Tonight," hours after the

initial bombshell allegation about pre-election Russia contacts was made on air.

"A clarification tonight on something one of Flynn's confidants told us and we reported

earlier today," Ross told ABC "World Tonight" host David Muir.

"He said the president had asked Flynn to contact Russia during the campaign.

He's now clarifying that, saying, according to Flynn, candidate Trump asked him during

the campaign to find ways to repair relations with Russia and other world hot spots.

And then after the election, the president-elect asked him to contact Russia on issues including

working together to fight ISIS."

Oliver Darcy of CNN called out ABC on the effect their story had.

On Saturday, ABC News responded to the criticism from other media outlets and the public over

their slip-up.

They suspended Brian Ross for four weeks over the incident.

At no point did ABC News use the phrase "fake news."
