Trump Demands Congress End 'Chain Migration', Visa Lottery to Protect Americans

The following is the official transcript of President Donald Trump's weekly address

from The White House.

The address was delivered Saturday.

My Fellow Americans,

This week I signed the National Defense Authorization Act — a historic step forward to rebuild

our military.

Now, it is critical for Congress to pass the Clean Government Appropriations Bill that

fully funds our Military Needs.

We must not play politics with our troops — we should pass a clean funding bill and

leave the politics aside.

We must protect our nation.

I'd also like to take a moment today to discuss our immigration system, and how we

can reform it to make it work for everyday Americans.

Our current immigration system helps special interests, but hurts American workers, taxpayers

and national security.

For decades now, U.S. immigration rules have been based on an outdated system known as

Chain Migration.

Under chain migration, foreign nationals can come to the United States and bring in unlimited

numbers of foreign relatives.

A single immigrant can begin a chain that could ultimately bring in dozens of increasingly

distant relations.

Because these individuals are admitted solely on the basis of family ties — not skill

or not merit — most of this immigration is lower-skilled, putting great strain on

federal welfare.

And because there is no real selection criteria, the current system is totally incompatible

with national security.

This week, a terrorist exploded a pipe bomb on a busy subway passage during rush hour

in New York City, injuring innocent Americans.

This individual arrived through chain migration.

In October, another terrorist drove a truck into pedestrians and cyclists in New York

City, killing 8 people and wounding many others.

That individual came through a visa lottery.

It is time to create a merit-based immigration system that makes sense for a modern economy

— selecting new arrivals based on their ability to support themselves financially

and to make positive contributions to U.S society.

Base it on love of our country.

We want people that come in, that can love our country.

This process begins with Congress passing a bill to end chain migration and also end

the visa lottery.

I have called on Congress to do exactly that.

Ending chain migration and also ending the visa lottery will allow us to have commonsense

immigration rules that promote assimilation and wage growth.

It also promotes, most importantly, safety.

It'll help Americans both old and new to thrive, flourish and prosper.

SHARE. 16, Saturday Night Lives opening sketch envisioned what President Donald Trumps first official Christmas in the White House might be like. And Scarlett Johansson made a cameo on SNL as Ivanka Trump, the First Daughter of the nation in the episode.

SNL often focuses on Trump (regularly played by Alec Baldwin) during its opening sketch, but this one pulled out all the stops for the holiday.

In the sketch, various members of the Trump administration (played by various SNL cast members) stopped by the White House to bring ornaments for the shame Christmas tree representing former employees.

Cecily Strong reprised her role as First Lady Melania Trump, along with Kate McKinnon, who played double duty as both Kellyanne Conway and Attorney General Jeff Sessions (dressed as the Elf on the Shelf).

Leslie Jones took on the role of recently departed White House staffer Omarosa Manigault-Newman. In the sketch, Baldwins Trump called Ivanka his favorite daughter upon Johanssons arrival into the scene, and he asked her where her husband Jared Kushner was.

She replied: Hes packing a go-bag before the FBI arrives.

Ill always remember the one time I heard him talk. Ivanka brought him two ornaments: One of Republican Alabama senate candidate Roy More and a Mad Ball, meant to be a Steve Bannon ornament.

As I said, theres a special place in hell and were all there, she said in the sketch.

Eric and Donald Jr. dropped by as well with ornaments for the tree. had a complex cut-out with several ex-White House staffers and Eric was proud of his macaroni star (made with cooked macaroni).

McKinnons Jeff Sessions, though, had the most important ornament of them all: The trees star, which is an angel/snake with the face of Robert Mueller.

As the White House cued up some Christmas music, Trumps ears perked up when he heard The Apprentice theme song.

Turns out, Jones Omarosa returned to the White House window, holding up a boom box playing the theme song (referencing the classic 80s film Say Anything.). Omarosa made another appearance during Weekend Update as well.

The episode was hosted by comedian Kevin Hart and the musical guest was the band Foo Fighters. This isnt the first time Johansson has taken on the role of Ivanka Trump.

The actor hosted SNL back in March and played the First Daughter in a parody fragrance commercial for Ivanka, called Complicit..

The story is in a word terrifying

2016 election to help his candidacy and hurt the bit of Hillary Clinton

Trump's refusal to acknowledge that fact is according to sources in the Post story

Entirely attributable to the fact that he believes doing so would somehow invalidate or weaken his victory in his presidency

this paragraph up high in the post story is a stunner the result is without obvious parallel in US history a

situation in which the personal insecurities of the president and his refusal to accept - what even many in his

Administration regardless objective reality have impaired. The government's response to a national security threat

the repercussions radiate across the government

Is that every single person in a position to know has been unequivocal about the fact that Russia views its?

2016 interference as a massive success and predicted that the country will be back in 2018 and

2020 with even more sophisticated meddling efforts it's not a Republican thing or democratic thing it really is an American thing

former FBI director James Comey said of the Russia threat in testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee in June

they're going to come for whatever party they choose to try and work on behalf of and they're not devoted to either in my

2018 election facing that future interference from an adversarial foreign power the u.s.

fact Trump called Putin on Thursday after the Russian leaders year ranked press conference

He said very nice things about what I have done for this country in terms of the economy

but he said also some negative things in terms of what is going on elsewhere Trump said on Friday morning the

Primary point was to talk about North Korea

Since Donald Trump was elected as president, the left has been doing whatever they can

to remove him from office.

These spiteful liberals cannot accept the fact that Trump is in fact, the president

and beat Hillary Clinton, so instead, they will continue to fan the flames of division.

The first tactic the left focused on was the bogus Russian collusion story, and as time

passed the entire narrative began to blow up in their faces.

Every time the left thought they had a piece of so-called "evidence" to tie Trump to

the Russians it turned out to be a Clinton operative which has only frustrated the Democrats

to no end.

Now, these hateful individuals are focusing on a new tactic to remove President Trump

from office, and if we are not careful, they may get their wish.

Over the past few weeks, we have witnessed an influx of sexual assault allegations coming

out against politicians on either side of the aisle.

Roy Moore, the Republican candidate for Alabama Senate, was hit with sexual assault allegations

stemming from 40 years ago.

Even though the claims were hardly corroborated and the chief accuser conceded that she did

lie the damage was already done, and Moore lost to the ultra-liberal Doug Jones last

night.

Soon after Moore was accused of sexual impropriety, the #METOO campaign took hold as women logged

onto social media recounting their stories of sexual assault at the hands of high powered

politicians.

Then allegations against Democrat Senator Al Franken and Congressman John Conyers emerged,

and the two resigned from office.

Now, you may be asking yourself how does this tie into pressuring President Trump to step

down from office?

Well, the answer is quite simple.

If the left can get enough women to come forward accusing President Trump of sexual assault

they can do their best to force him to resign from office.

And, that is the entire purpose of the sudden influx of sexual assault allegations against

politicians rearing its head at this time.

Due to the decaying culture and values of America and Donald Trump's agenda to restore

many of those values, Donald Trump is hated and despised by a large sector of the population.

They have been trying to find ways to prevent Trump from taking office and then ways to

get him out of office now that he has been inaugurated.

Democrats had put their hopes in the Russian election interference investigations, but

so far, that seems to be backfiring on them as there has been more evidence linking the

Clinton campaign with the Russians than the Trump campaign.

One House Democrat believed he could lead an effort to impeach President Trump and remove

him from office, but that effort was soundly defeated with the majority of Democrats voting

to table the resolution.

So, how can they possibly get rid of Trump?

'Me too'!

Several women tried to prevent Trump from winning the election by making sexual allegations

against him, but Trump denied the allegations and believed they were handled since no hard

evidence was ever presented.

Now that the 'me too' craze is causing several members of Congress to resign suddenly,

over a dozen women have banded together to make sexual allegations against Trump and

immediately, some Democrats in Congress began calling for Trump to resign.

Trump has responded by saying that the allegations are not true, they're fake news and he denies

all of the allegations.

So, who will Congress believe – Trump or his accusers?

If Trump is guilty, then Democrats need to be reminded how they vehemently defended Bill

Clinton and refused to vote him out of office during his impeachment hearing.

I'm not condoning the behavior, but right now, Trump is the best thing that could happen

to America and we need him in the Oval Office.

Now, no one is saying that politicians that are found guilty of sexual assault should

remain in office, but just an allegation should not ruin a man's career.

There is a reason that there are a statue of limitations and if these women were genuinely

assaulted by a politician or a person in power, there is no reason that there should not be

a paper trail to corroborate it their story of abuse.

After years of silence, these women should not be given a platform to destroy someone

based on what political office these men are for now, and that goes across the board.

If these are the tactics that the left are going to use to silence their opposition you

can bet they will use them harder in 2018 and of course, in 2020 with the next presidential

election.

Make no mistake folks, this is a war we are in and it is now the time to fight back against

these tactics or we can say goodbye to the United States.

Just recently, Former FBI Assistant Director James Kallstrom appeared on Fox Business News

where he called out the FBI agent Peter Strzok to be imprisoned for insulting the President

of the US.

During the show, the host Liz MacDonald questioned Kallstrom, "What can an FBI official, an

FBI agent do to stop a president from getting elected?"

On this, Kallstrom answered, "Well, I think he can do what [Strzok] tried to do."

"He can fabricate things, he can make up stuff, he can lie, he can be a total moron."

"He can recruit others — you know, he belongs in Leavenworth this guy, in my personal

view."

"I don't have all the facts, but from what I know, he belongs behind bars this guy,"

the former FBI official explained clearly.

"These things cannot happen in a democracy," he made it clear.

"This week, Fox News published a portion of the approximately 10,000 texts messages

sent between FBI agent Peter Strzok and lawyer Lisa Page.

Among the messages is an exchange revealing Strzok and Page discussed an 'insurance

policy,' against a Trump presidency.

The kicker?

Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe may have not only been privy to the conversation, but

a part of it."

This discussion happened in one of the offices.

Just a few days back, on Wednesday, Fox News reporter Bret Baier took to Twitter to make

his statement:

"Text-from Peter Strzok to Lisa Page (Andy is Andrew McCabe): "I want to believe the

path u threw out 4 consideration in Andy's office-that there's no way he gets elected-but

I'm afraid we can't take that risk.It's like an insurance policy in unlikely event

u die be4 you're 40."

Lisa Page, his mistress and FBI lawyer actually played Strzok's game answering with a text

message, 'Trump should go f**k himself'.

Immediately after this scandal, Strzok was kicked out of Mueller's investigation but

it is too late.

When an agent in an investigation reveals fragile content to other party and when he

acts so biased, the whole investigation is compromised and should be closed right away.

US Attorney Risks Life To Expose "Brazen' Plot To "Frame Trump" For Disturbing Crime

It is always a huge story when someone decides to come out and expose corruption that may

be in any way connected to Hillary Clinton.

Recently the former U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, Joe DiGenova, did an

interview on Tucker Carlson Tonight, at the risk of ending up as one of the latest Clinton

connected "suicides," and he made it quite clear that the FBI is clearly biased and full

of corruption

New details are coming out almost daily on how the former FBI Director, James Comey,

as well as many others, did all they possibly could to erase any evidence of Hillary Clinton's

guilt, and since that failed, it seems to be turning into a set-up to frame President

Trump.

The head of the special investigations committee, Mueller, seems to be in control of the crazy

train, and his right hand man, Strzok, is now front and center for questions being fired

by none other than Trey Gowdy.

According to The Western Journal :

Newly revealed details regarding partisan bias at the FBI are evidence of a conspiracy

to absolve former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and "frame" President Donald Trump,

a former U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia said Friday.

Speaking on Fox News' "Tucker Carlson Tonight," Joe DiGenova said he thinks officials

in the Obama Justice Department tried to ensure that Clinton wasn't punished because they

wanted her to prevail in the 2016 presidential election.The goal of this "brazen plot,"

he said, was "to exonerate Hillary Clinton because of an animus toward Donald Trump."

If that didn't work, the objective was "to frame the incoming president for either a

criminal act or impeachment."

Calling this display "disgusting," he said everyone involved who still works for

the DOJ or FBI should be fired.Even beyond that, he argued that a federal grand jury

should be impaneled "to investigate the conduct of … everybody in the Obama Justice

Department who even touched this."

DiGenova was responding to recent revelations many have interpreted as evidence that DOJ

officials went easy on Clinton while holding strong anti-Trump biases.

On Thursday, Republican Sen. Ron Johnson, chairman of the Senate Committee on Homeland

Security and Governmental Affairs, released to the public a draft of former FBI Director

James Comey's statement regarding the Clinton email investigation.

The draft was dated May 2, 2016, two months before the FBI interviewed Clinton.

But it still indicated that Comey knew he would not recommend that charges be filed

against the former secretary of state, according to Newsweek.

"Comey sold his soul to the devil," DiGenova said in response to this report.

He claimed he has heard from agents currently with the bureau who "cannot abide by what's

going on."

Moreover, in Comey's draft, Clinton's actions were originally described as "grossly

negligent."

FBI official Peter Strzok, though, changed the wording to "extremely careless."

While there is no established criminal penalty for handling classified material in an "extremely

careless" manner, Clinton may have faced criminal charges if the FBI had characterized

her actions as "grossly negligent."

Strzok is the same official who was removed from special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia

probe due to anti-Trump text messages he exchanged during the election with bureau attorney Lisa

Page, with whom he was having an extramarital affair.

One of those texts seemed to suggest a contingency plan in case Trump won the 2016 election.

"I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy's office — that

there's no way he gets elected — but I'm afraid we can't take that risk," Strzok

wrote on Aug. 15, 2016, referring to the possibility of Trump being elected.

"It's like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you're 40."

Republican lawmakers and others believe "Andy" may be a reference to FBI Deputy Director

Andrew McCabe.

DiGenova said Friday that these texts and others expressing similar sentiments are "frightening."

"They conspired to frame the incoming president of the United States, and it's a frightening

and disgusting prospect that FBI officials, senior FBI officials, would do this," he

said.

The revelation about the texts is one of the reasons the House Intelligence Committee wants

to question McCabe.

McCabe was supposed to appear before the committee on Tuesday, but at the last minute he pushed

back his testimony.

The abrupt cancellation came after the revelation that Nellie Ohr, the wife of DOJ official

Bruce Ohr, used to work for Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm that created the

infamous Trump-Russia dossier.

Previously, it had been reported that Bruce Ohr met on several occasions last year with

Fusion co-founder Glenn Simpson and Christopher Steele, the former British spy and FBI informant

who produced the unverified dossier.

It's not like we were under some kind of ignorant impression that our Government wasn't

corrupt to begin with, but it never ceases to surprise me how deep each and every Democrat

seems to be in the cesspool which is Washington.

There seems to truly be no level they won't sink to, and then they act horrified when

we figure out what their game is.

Exposure of their actions and illegal activities is becoming almost the norm when attacked

by these dirty politicians, and it is a relief to see so many people in positions to do something

about it finally taking it seriously.

It won't be too much longer until everything comes out fully and as the saying goes, it

all rolls down hill.

Let's hope that everyone on that hill is hit hard and held accountable for their actions.
