Trump Demands Congress End 'Chain Migration', Visa Lottery to Protect Americans

The following is the official transcript of President Donald Trump's weekly address

from The White House.

The address was delivered Saturday.

My Fellow Americans,

This week I signed the National Defense Authorization Act — a historic step forward to rebuild

our military.

Now, it is critical for Congress to pass the Clean Government Appropriations Bill that

fully funds our Military Needs.

We must not play politics with our troops — we should pass a clean funding bill and

leave the politics aside.

We must protect our nation.

I'd also like to take a moment today to discuss our immigration system, and how we

can reform it to make it work for everyday Americans.

Our current immigration system helps special interests, but hurts American workers, taxpayers

and national security.

For decades now, U.S. immigration rules have been based on an outdated system known as

Chain Migration.

Under chain migration, foreign nationals can come to the United States and bring in unlimited

numbers of foreign relatives.

A single immigrant can begin a chain that could ultimately bring in dozens of increasingly

distant relations.

Because these individuals are admitted solely on the basis of family ties — not skill

or not merit — most of this immigration is lower-skilled, putting great strain on

federal welfare.

And because there is no real selection criteria, the current system is totally incompatible

with national security.

This week, a terrorist exploded a pipe bomb on a busy subway passage during rush hour

in New York City, injuring innocent Americans.

This individual arrived through chain migration.

In October, another terrorist drove a truck into pedestrians and cyclists in New York

City, killing 8 people and wounding many others.

That individual came through a visa lottery.

It is time to create a merit-based immigration system that makes sense for a modern economy

— selecting new arrivals based on their ability to support themselves financially

and to make positive contributions to U.S society.

Base it on love of our country.

We want people that come in, that can love our country.

This process begins with Congress passing a bill to end chain migration and also end

the visa lottery.

I have called on Congress to do exactly that.

Ending chain migration and also ending the visa lottery will allow us to have commonsense

immigration rules that promote assimilation and wage growth.

It also promotes, most importantly, safety.

It'll help Americans both old and new to thrive, flourish and prosper.

Thank you, and God Bless America.

Thank you for watching this video.

BREAKING: He Betrayed Him… NOW Trump's Set To FIRE HIS A*S!!! - Duration: 6:29.

President Trump has enough to deal with when dealing with crazed liberals, but you would

think that members of his own administration would back him. Well, evidently that was a

wrong assumption as Trump has found out over the past year, as Attorney General Jeff Sessions

has refused to do anything about the rampant corruption in the government.

During the presidential campaign, Trump promised that he would go after Hillary Clinton for

her dirty deeds over the years. However, despite the public support, Sessions has refused to

go after "major" cases involving former President Barack Obama or 2016 Democrat presidential

nominee Hillary Clinton. This refusal to crack down on these corrupt individuals has caused

frustration on the conservative side as we watch these criminals walk free.

Not only has Sessions refused to investigate those crimes, but he has also recently balked

over the need to appoint a special counsel to investigate the Justice Department after

shocking revelations concerning the FBI had come to light.

In a recent statement, Sessions stated that while he's concerned about recent allegations

of bias within the FBI, "sometimes things that might appear to be bad in the press have

more innocent explanations, so fairness and justice should also be provided to our personnel."

Then before that ludicrous statement, Sessions again in November pushed back against the

need to appoint a special counsel to investigate the disgusting anti-Trump dossier that was

paid for by Hillary Clinton and the DNC that was used as the premise for the ridiculous

Russian collusion narrative.

With all of these instances of Sessions seemingly dropping the ball to investigate these crimes,

the calls for the attorney general to step down are all growing. One of those people

is Fox News contributor and former Republican House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz

who has argued that Attorney General Jeff Sessions should step down on a recent appearance

on Fox News. Here is more from Newsmax:

Former House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz, Saturday called for Attorney

General Jeff Sessions to be removed from office, saying that may be a cure for the "deep

systemic problems" in the Department of Justice.

"It pains me to say this a little bit [but] I don't think the attorney general is up

to the job he's doing," Chaffetz, now a contributor for Fox News told the "Fox

and Friends Saturday" program. Sessions "had to remove himself from everything"

involving President Donald Trump and that led to the appointment of Robert Mueller as

special investigator in the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election,

said, Chaffetz. He also criticized the attorney general for

not taking on a more active role in digging up information about several controversial

figures at the DOJ, including Agent Peter Strzok, who was removed from the investigation

after a series of anti-Trump text messages between him and a fellow agent were discovered.

Chaffetz said that Sessions also had told him that he would not prosecute Bryan Pagliano,

Hillary Clinton's former chief tech staffer, who had refused a Congressional subpoena to

testify about the 2016 Democratic nominee's use of a private email server.

Sessions had also refused to make documents on the Fast and Furious scandal public following

the death of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, Chaffetz said.

So, why would Sessions be balking at investigating crimes in our country? The only logical explanation

that one can come up with is that he is just another member of the swamp that is protecting

his own, and the evidence to support that theory is massive.

In an article penned on Zero Hedge, the questions that Sessions could be asking to those involved

in the recent FBI scandal are numerous, and here are some examples.

Was Peter Strzok innocently calling Trump "a f*cking idiot" and a "loathsome human"

before investigating him? Did FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe's

"damage control team" innocently change their conclusion that Hillary Clinton's

server was "possibly" hacked, rather than "reasonably likely" – language which

significantly altered the seriousness of Clinton's mishandling of classified information?

Were all references to the FBI working with other members of the intelligence community

on Clinton's private server innocently scrubbed from Comey's exoneration statement – making

it look like a much smaller investigation? Before he was demoted for doing so – did

senior DOJ official Bruce Ohr innocently meet with MI6 spy Christopher Steele who assembled

the salacious 'Trump-Russia' dossier, and then also innocently meet with Glenn Simpson,

co-founder of opposition research firm Fusion GPS? Fusion commissioned Steele to create

the dossier, which relied on senior Russian officials.

Did Fusion GPS innocently hire Bruce Ohr's CIA wife, Nellie Ohr, to gather damaging information

on President Trump? If there weren't such innocent explanations for everything, one

might think Nellie Ohr could have possibly passed information from the DOJ to Fusion

GPS and vice versa. Did Hillary Clinton and the DNC innocently

pay Fusion GPS $1,024,408 through law firm Perkins Coie, which then paid Steele $168,000?

In addition to the 'Trump-Russia' dossier, did Fusion GPS innocently arrange the Trump

Tower "setup" meeting between Trump Jr. and a Russian Attorney? Or attempt to link

Donald Trump to billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein? Or try to push the debunked claim

that a secret email server existed between Trump Tower and Moscow's Alfa bank – which

Alfa bank executives are suing Fusion GPS over?

Of course, more questions can be asked, but this is a good place to start, wouldn't

you say? At any rate, it is evident that Sessions is

no longer useful in his position and should step down to allow someone else to do it properly.

The American people deserve to see justice, and if Sessions if not going to deliver on

that promise, then he needs to step aside for someone who will.

It is time to drain the swamp, and it starts with Jeff Sessions.

Trump administration sets new rules on U.S. visa waivers - Duration: 0:35.

The Trump Administration has announced new requirements for countries... like Korea and

Britain whose citizens are allowed to travel to the U.S. under a visa waiver program.

Those 38 countries will have to introduce tougher screening processes at airports, checking

traveler data against U.S. counterterrorism information.

The U.S. will also crack down on countries whose citizens abuse the visa waiver program

by staying in the U.S. for longer than the allowed 90 days.

Last year,... nearly 150-thousand people from waiver countries failed to leave on time.

Trump will spend $5 billion on anti-Russian psychotherapy (Ruslan Ostashko) - Duration: 6:21.

Trump will spend $5 billion on anti-Russian psychotherapy.

My dear fellow citizens, congratulations!

The President of the United States Donald Trump has signed into law the 2018 defense policy bill authorizing a large Pentagon budget.

A significant portion of this important document is dedicated to the containment of us, i.e. Russia.

It seems that there is no cause to rejoice. They consider us the enemy;

they will be trying to hurt us as much as possible and to thwart us anywhere they can. Furthermore, it has been announced to the whole world

that we – i.e. Russia – is the source of evil, meldonium, hackers and military threat for the freedom-loving European countries.

The Americans and we happen to inhabit the same planet.

They are not planning on flying off anywhere. We also are not in a hurry to move some place else.

We will have to live together on this globe.

In order for us to live well, we will have to understand how our transatlantic partners perceive the surrounding reality.

They perceive the reality pretty much in this way: anyone they set their eyes upon

is either a source of profit or a threat, which needs to be bludgeoned on the head until his dead corpse turns into a source of profit.

Some countries such as Great Britain were fortunate enough to get appointed to the position of a small jackal,

whose function is to bite those Washington considers a threat hoping later to get a piece of the corpse.

Unfortunately, or, as I look at it, fortunately, we do not have an option to turn into an American jackal.

They dislike us too much: we are too distinct,

and Washington establishment considers us too dangerous even when we are at our most peaceful and domesticated behavior.

This means that under any circumstances they would prefer to see us not just in the coffin but, rather, on the chopping block.

They have already chopped us with the butcher knife in 1990s – the whole country is still covered with scars.

That is why when I am reading the American documents I do not want to find that Russia is considered a source of profit;

I want to see everything related to Russia marked in red and minus signs.

And the bigger the expenses associated with those minus signs, the more confident we should feel.

The desire of the Washington administration to spend a lot of money to contain Russia

is equivalent to an independent audit of the effectiveness of our foreign and defense policy.

If Washington has such a desire, this means we passed the test.

It is impossible to calculate how many billions of dollars out of the US military budget will be spend directly on Russia.

The budget does not specify that a particular aircraft carrier would be built to counter a specific country.

However, appropriation categories could be evaluated to understand how much money is earmarked for specific programs.

And here there is a lot about the Russian threat.

The Pentagon 2018 budget allocates $4.6 billion to contain threats in Europe.

I believe everyone understand that in Europe we are the ones that are meant to be contained.

Fighting the Middle Eastern terrorism that threatens Europe is, of course, not a task for the American military.

Particularly keeping in mind that financing the aforementioned terrorists is likely listed in the budget of their colleagues from the CIA.

Therefore, the American military in Europe will be containing specifically the Russian threat.

Special attention will be paid to the Baltic countries.

Every time I see the Americans allocating money to the Baltic countries I feel a gnawing suspicion:

Could the Americans know something about Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia we do not know?

I do not understand why would we be annexing the Baltic countries?

I do not know anybody who thinks that we absolutely need to conquer the Baltic states.

I do not see any political or economic sense in such an action.

We don't have enough of sardines or what? Or we have no ports?

However, the American politicians and generals want to spend money specifically on the defense of these countries.

Hard to understand but big empires might have their own big idiosyncrasies.

But on the other hand, considering how inefficiently the American Army spends the money,

those $100 million allocated to the Baltics would be enough, to support, perhaps, two or three battalions.

A trifle, but still might give pleasure to the leaders of the Baltic countries, and they will have something to brag about before their voters.

If we look at all anti-Russian expenses as a unit and at their justification, we come to an astonishing discovery:

the American experts and military openly state that the aim of this program is to build confidence of the NATO allies that the Americans would defend them when necessary.

I have a bad news for the American NATO allies in Europe:

the Americans will double-cross them at the first opportunity,

the same way they double-crossed their Syrian allies exposing them to the bombs of the Russian Air Force;

the same way they betrayed their Kurd allies to Erdogan and the Iraqi Army.

The Europeans having watched the events in Syria

are beginning to suspect that the military roof they are paying the US for is in reality leaking.

So, now the Trump administration has to conduct psychotherapy sessions, wipe their noses,

change pumpers, dispense sedatives and beg to stop the hysterics.

That won't help. The Europeans are already signing agreements among themselves about mutual defense without the US;

Juncker and Merkel are making statements that the safety of Europe is the responsibility of Europe itself.

Translating this from the diplomatic to the human language, it means that the Americans are no longer trusted or believed.

The moral authority is completely and irrevocably lost; it cannot be recovered for the price of $5 billion but Trump will try.

NATO is slowly breaking up, and so in the future the US will have more than one reason to fear us.

North Korea mocks 'old LUNATIC Trump' in fiery USA nuclear WAR threat - Duration: 2:57.

North Korea mocks 'old LUNATIC Trump' in fiery USA nuclear WAR threat

said America was "frightened" by despot Kim Jong-un and warned them to back off or face "destruction".   A statement published in a Pyongyang-based newspaper hit out at , who has adopted a hard-line stance during this year's nuclear crisis.

The opinion piece in Minju Chosen, one of North Korea's several propaganda rags, told Mr Trump to temper his policy with the hermit state.

The piece claimed America was terrified after a series of North Korea missile tests this year, the most recent of which used Kim's most powerful weapon yet.  It said: "Frightened by the DPRKs successful test-fire of ICBM Hwasong-15, old lunatic Trump talked about 'way of serious approach'.

"War maniacs of the US are urging 'Congress to discuss the issue of 'preemptive attack' on the DPRK, referring to the need to 'withdraw American citizens' from south Korea, only to make a war against the DPRK an established fact.

" The article said this was a "loud of rubbish" and claimed America's "nuclear war maniacs" suffered from "death-bed symptom".   It said the USA needed to "behave with reason" or face "destruction".

The statement concluded: "The Trump cults talk about 'military counteraction' is just ridiculous as it is incapable of judging what the declaration means.

"We warn him once again that if his regime resorts to military counteraction after losing discretion, it will face a tougher countermeasure by the DPRK and fall deeper into a quagmire.

"The Trump-led US authorities should behave with reason, well aware of where they are standing and what they are doing.

"They had better cool their heads heated by war hysteria and be prudent if they dont want to meet bitterer disgrace and destruction." Earlier this year Donald Trump promised to deliver fire and fury to North Korea if they did not cease their nuclear acceleration programme. .

BOMBSHELL Out Of San Francisco… Anti-Trump Judge Going To PRISON!!! - Duration: 6:00.

BOMBSHELL Out Of San Francisco…

Anti-Trump Judge Going To PRISON!!!

Another one bites the dust… this time in the 9th circus….err I mean 9th circuit.

A prominent judge in the US appeals court has now been accused inappropriate sexual

conduct or comments by a total of nine women.

The latest allegations against Judge Alex Kozinski of the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals

go back decades and include women who met him at events, according to the Washington

Post.

The 67-year-old judge based out of Pasadena, California was appointed to the bench by former

President Ronald Reagan in 1985 serving the 9th Circuit for 32 years.

Seven of those years were served as chief judge from 2007-2014.

A child of Romania immigrants that survived the Holocaust fleeing to America, Kozinski

is an essayist and judicial commentator in addition to sitting the bench on the 9th US

Circuit Court of Appeals with essays in publications such as Slate, The New Yorker, The New Republic,

and National Review.

He is known for his irreverent opinions and his clerks often win prestigious clerkships

at the U.S. Supreme Court.

The Post reported that six former clerks and externs on the appeals court had accused Kozinski

of subjecting them to inappropriate comments or exposing them to pornography, as well as

four women who say he touched or kissed them against their will.

Retired US Court of Federal Claims judge, Christine Miller has accused Kozinski of grabbing

her breasts during a car ride in 1986 after a legal community function in the Baltimore

area.

According to Miller, Kozinski got grabby hands after she refused to go to a motel with him

and have sex.

Miller states –

"'He said if you won't sleep with me, I want to touch you, and then he reached over,

and — this was the most antiseptic — he grabbed each of my breasts and squeezed them."

Emily Murphy states Kozinski once tried to convince her and other clerks to work out

while naked after she mentioned that the court's gym appeared to regularly be used by employees.

Another accuser is Leah Litman, a law professor at Univerity of California, Irvine.

Litman claims the judge spoke of just having had sex, then pinching her side as well as

her leg while they were in a restaurant together the evening before they were to appear together

on a judicial panel at her school in July.Yet a third lawyer not identified by name claims

Kozinski approached her at a 2008 legal event held in Los Angeles while she stood alone.

He then proceeded to kiss her on the mouth and give her a tight bear hug with no warning

or invitation.

According to the Post, the woman's husband did confirm the incident in question, however,

they said nothing due to Kozinski's powerful position and a belief that nothing would be

done because of it.

Another accuser by the name of Heidi Bond a former law clerk from 2006-2007, said the

judge showed her porn on multiple occasions, including pictures of naked college-aged students

at a party and a flipbook which a woman's naked body parts had to be matched up to the

corresponding bodies.

When asked why nothing was said at the time, she responded with "I mean, who would I

tell?

Who do you even tell?

Who do you go to?"

Kosinski vehemently denies the allegations, issuing a statement through his attorney indicating

he believed all of this was a misunderstanding based on his "unusual sense of humor"

and he deeply regretted that his 'unusual sense of humor caused offense or made anyone

uncomfortable.'

"I have been a judge for 35 years and during that time have had over 500 employees in my

chambers.

I treat all of my employees as family and work very closely with most of them.

I would never intentionally do anything to offend anyone and it is regrettable that a

handful have been offended by something I may have said or done."

Now as a result of these allegations the 9th Circuit has opened a misconduct inquiry.

In a letter to Chief Justice Roberts, 9th Circuit Chief Judge Sidney Thomas said it

is the practice of the appeals court to investigate published allegations of misconduct.

As a result, the circuit initiated a formal inquiry.

In an effort to ensure impartiality inasmuch as it can do so, Thomas asked the chief justice

to transfer the complaint to another circuit so judges that do not sit with Kozinski would

conduct the inquiry.

On Friday, Roberts did just that by letter routing the misconduct inquiring to the Judicial

Council of the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York.

According to NPR –

Since the Post's report last week, two other former clerks on the 9th Circuit who did not

work for Kozinski, including Slate columnist Dahlia Lithwick, have published accounts of

their own encounters with the judge.

The Washington Post reported Friday night that nine more women say he "subjected them

to sexual comments or other conduct, including four who say he touched them inappropriately."

One of Kozinski's current clerks has resigned, a spokesman for the court told The Associated

Press.

This is not Kozinski's first time facing misconduct charges either.

In 2008, the Los Angeles Times reported on a publicly accessible website the judge maintained

full of sexually explicit photos and videos.

Like this current misconduct inquiry, this one was also transferred to another court

where Kozinski was subsequently admonished for exhibiting poor judgment in maintaining

material that could prove "an embarrassment to the federal judiciary."

This existence of this inquiry tends to lend credence to the women's claims of sexual

impropriety on the part of Kozinski.

BREAKING NEWS From White House… Trump Family Just Got The BEST NEWS EVER!!!! - Duration: 5:30.

BREAKING NEWS From White House… Trump Family Just Got

The BEST NEWS EVER!!!!

While some have criticized the First Lady her approval rating has climbed close to 17

points since her husband Donald Trump took office in January of this year.

Now close to 54 percent of those who were polled say they have a favorable view of the

First Lady.

However, those same people say they view the President unfavorably.

Interesting correlation.

Gallup has now indicated the president has a 41 percent approval rating.

Only a one percent increase since January.

The Daily Mail reported,

"The percentage of people who view him unfavorably has also risen by one percent from 55 to 56.

It is an increase from last week when, in a separate study by The Pew Research Center,

31 percent said they liked him.

Melania's boosted popularity is evidence of an encouraging increase since the start

of the year when, not long before accompanying her husband to his Inauguration ceremony,

her approval rating sat at 37 percent.

The same number viewed her unfavorably.

Now, 33 percent have that view.

She has proved less polarizing than her husband – while 13 percent said they had no opinion

of Melania, only 3 percent said the same of the president.

In January, 26 percent said they had no view of the incoming First Lady, demonstrating

that her efforts over the last year have led most to form an opinion of her."

Melania spent the first half of the year quietly, residing in New York City with her son Barron

to ensure he saw out his school year without disruption.

Her public engagements were few and she rarely spoke in public.

But since relocating to The White House in the summer, Mrs Trump has embraced a more

proactive stance.

She has proved a hit with foreign leaders and their partners and has consistently dazzled

sartorially.

Indeed, so unwavering is her commitment to fashion that she chose to fly to disaster-struck

Houston to offer hurricane relief in a pair of $500 Manolo Blahnik stilettos.

Countless photo-ops with children in hospitals and at festive White House events have seasoned

her first year as First Lady."

The First Lady during her time in the White House has focused on anti-bullying initiatives,

Children's Hospitals and their patients, as well as spending time with veterans, their

children, and their families.

While every First Lady has their own pet projects they work on she has certainly carved her

own space in history for what she wants to work on.

Many view the First Lady and the Trump family as an asset to the President.

While President Trump has always been more crass and rough around the edges his family

has been the exact opposite.

Well educated, kind, cultured, generous, and by all accounts lovely to be around.

Ivanka Trump, Barron Trump, the Trump grandchildren, and Melania Trump are perfect examples.

Newsweek reported,

"Just before the Trumps became the first couple on January 20, the first lady-elect

had the country split in opinion: About 37 percent viewed her favorably and 37 percent

unfavorably, with 26 percent undecided.

About a year later, only 13 percent of Americans still have no opinion of the Slovenia-born

former model, and her unfavorables have dropped a bit, to 33 percent.

"Melania Trump's favorability advantage … is consistent with Gallup's findings

that recent first ladies are, on average, more popular than their husbands," pollsters

said in a statement about their December 4-11 questioning.

"This is likely because a first lady's role is more ceremonial and generally much

less divisive than that of the president."

Trump is indeed a notably unpopular president.

A Gallup spokeswoman told Newsweek that Trump's current approval ratings, now in the mid-30s,

are the lowest among the modern presidents, including Eisenhower, Kennedy, Nixon, Carter,

Reagan, the Bushes, Clinton and Obama, in the first year of a first term.

That said, even the best-liked presidents have trouble keeping up with their spouses

in the popularity contest of U.S. politics.

"Michelle Obama and Laura Bush outpaced their husbands, holding an average 12-point

and 17-point edge in favorability, respectively, over their spouses," Gallup noted.

Melania Trump is currently about on par with those predecessors; Hillary Clinton averaged

one point lower favorability than her husband during their White House years.

Melania Trump has taken some heat during the course of her first year as first lady, including

for delaying her move from Manhattan to the White House and even some of her fashion choices,

but the nation is clearly warming to her."

Sometimes transitions are difficult so it is not surprising that the First Lady had

a drastic spike in her approval rating.

She is almost a year into her duties and she is getting used to them and carving a space

for herself.

Perhaps she just needed some time to transition into her role in order to fully feel comfortable.

Now she is killing it and doing her roles as First Lady extraordinarily well.
