When President Donald Trump presided over the 95th annual lighting of the National Christmas

Tree on Thursday, he reminded everyone that Jesus is reason for the season by an invocation

at the ceremony that was openly, unapologetically Christian.

"For Christians this is a holy season, the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior

Jesus Christ," Trump said, according to CNS, standing before a Colorado blue spruce

tree that was covered by thousands of lights.

"The Christmas story begins 2,000 years ago with a mother, a father, their baby son,

and the most extraordinary gift of all — the gift of God's love for all of humanity,"

he continued.

"Whatever our beliefs, we know that the birth of Jesus Christ and the story of this

incredible life forever changed the course of human history.

"There's hardly an aspect of our lives today that his life has not touched — art,

music, culture, law and our respect for the sacred dignity of every person, everywhere

in the world."

Talk about amazing.

We haven't heard a president talk about Jesus like that in years — and it's refreshing

to hear it now.

Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke must have known what was coming when he introduced

Trump, according to The Associated Press, as "a man who loves our parks, loves our

military, and loves our country.

The man who brought 'Merry Christmas' back to our nation's capital — and you

did, sir."

The lighting ceremony was followed by an hourlong celebration hosted by NBC's "Today"

show co-host Kathy Lee Gifford and actor Dean Cane.

The Beach Boys, singer Wynnona Judd and the U.S. Navy Band also performed at the event,

ABC News reported.

Trump has made several efforts to follow through on his vow to bring "Merry Christmas"

back, and to hear him speak of Jesus this way is an amazing follow-up to that promise.

It's also a wonderful way to get the season off on to a joyous start.

Of course, liberals will will turn into grinches when they hear what the president said, but

they are rarely happy anyway.

Thursday evening Americans were greeted with quite the shock – the illegal alien who

murdered Kate Steinle was acquitted of the charges – and shortly after, his attorney

seemingly threatened the President.

Matt Gonzales is the attorney representing Jose Garcia Zarate, who was found not guilty

of manslaughter and second-degree murder despite the fact he's a seven-time convicted felon

and five-time deportee.

When Gonzales addressed reporters after the verdict from the jury was read, he arrogantly

launched into a warning that appeared to be more of a threat toward President Trump, Vice

President Pence, and Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Breitbart News reported.

Gonzales said, in part [emphasis mine]:

For those who might criticize this verdict, there are a number of people that have commented

on this case in the last couple years, the Attorney General of the United States, the

President and Vice President of the United States.

Let me just remind them that they are themselves under investigation by a special prosecutor

in Washington, DC and they may themselves soon avail themselves of the presumption of

innocence and beyond a reasonable doubt standard.

And so I would ask them to reflect on that before they comment or disparaged the result

in this case.

Aside from seemingly threatening the three most powerful men in America, Gonzales appears

to be equating the non-investigation into them with the fact that his client was convicted

of seven felonies, deported five times, and used an illegal handgun to kill an American

citizen.

While we all enjoy the presumption of innocence in America, this should have been a slam dunk

case in any rational court.

However, since Zarate is a protected class of the left and had a good sob story, he was

able to walk away virtually unscathed in what nearly every prominent legal analyst is calling

a miscarriage of justice.

But I digress.

We previously reported that both the President and AG Sessions weren't pleased with the

verdict, and both men made scathing statements once it was heard.

Additionally, it's now being reported that the Justice Department is exploring federal

charges for Zarate since the California court system didn't appear capable of delivering

justice.

"A disgraceful verdict in the Kate Steinle case!

No wonder the people of our Country are so angry with Illegal Immigration."

"The Kate Steinle killer came back and back over the weakly protected Obama border, always

committing crimes and being violent, and yet this info was not used in court.

His exoneration is a complete travesty of justice.

BUILD THE WALL!"

"The jury was not told the killer of Kate was a 7 time felon.

The Schumer/Pelosi Democrats are so weak on Crime that they will pay a big price in the

2018 and 2020 Elections."

Another person who was extremely unhappy about it all was Attorney General Jeff Sessions,

who released a scathing statement following the news.

His full statement is below:

"When jurisdictions choose to return criminal aliens to the streets rather than turning

them over to federal immigration authorities, they put the public's safety at risk.

San Francisco's decision to protect criminal aliens led to the preventable and heartbreaking

death of Kate Steinle.

"While the State of California sought a murder charge for the man who caused Ms. Steinle's

death—a man who would not have been on the streets of San Francisco if the city simply

honored an ICE detainer—the people ultimately convicted him of felon in possession of a

firearm.

The Department of Justice will continue to ensure that all jurisdictions place the safety

and security of their communities above the convenience of criminal aliens.

"I urge the leaders of the nation's communities to reflect on the outcome of this case and

consider carefully the harm they are doing to their citizens by refusing to cooperate

with federal law enforcement officers."

As you can see, neither Sessions nor Trump is happy about this case.

Mr. Gonzales would be wise to take his "victory" as a gift and keep his mouth shut, because

if Sessions does get involved, his client is screwed.

and punish companies if necessary.

China has made it clear that they will not enforce any sanctions against North Korea

nor will they allow the United States to openly take down the genocidal regime.

That is correct, they will not ALLOW the United States to strike North Korea, to end North

Korea�s quickly growing nuclear missile threat to the United States.

China�s trade with the North actually increased in the first quarter of 2017.

Overall, trade increased 37.4 percent year-over-year, with a 270 percent increase in North Korean

iron in January and February, RT reports.

China�s support for North Korea dates back to the Korean War (1950 1953), when its troops

flooded the Korean Peninsula to aid its northern ally.

Since the war, China has lent political and economic backing to North Korea�s leaders:

Kim Il-sung (estimated 1948 1994), Kim Jong-Il (roughly 1994 2011), and Kim Jong-Un (2011).

The United States administration will continue to use diplomacy and sanctions against China

and North Korea, in hopes of putting heavy pressure on China to finally force North Korea

to end its nuclear programs and rhetoric towards striking the United States.

I believe that China will never stand united with the United States against the DPRK and

therefore we are simply allowing North Korea more time to build more chemical and biological

weapons, ICBM�s and nuclear warheads.

Verdict NEW YORK � A Guyanese national convicted

of assault, criminal possession of a weapon and kidnapping is among the 55 foreign nationals

arrested during a recently concluded six-day operation conducted by U.S. Immigration and

Customs Enforcement�s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO).

ERO deportation officers in New York targeted at-large criminal aliens, illegal re-entrants,

and immigration fugitives during the operation which ran from Monday, Nov. 13 to Monday,

Nov. 20.

Of those arrested, ICE had lodged detainers on 42 of the foreign nationals when they were

in local law enforcement custody, and they were all released without the detainers being

honored.

Ten were immigration fugitives or were previously removed from the U.S.

Some of the individuals arrested during the enforcement action will be presented for federal

prosecution for re-entry after deportation, a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison.

Those not being criminally prosecuted will be processed for removal from the country.

Individuals who have outstanding orders of deportation, or who returned to the United

States illegally after being deported, are subject to immediate removal from the country.

�ERO deportation officers are committed to enforcing the immigration laws set forth

by our legislators,� said Thomas Decker, field office director for ERO New York.

�Forty-two of the 55 arrested during this operation were released from New York custody

with an active detainer, which poses an increased risk to the officers and the community.

It is important for city residents to know that although the City of New York releases

inmates with active ICE detainers back into their community, ICE will be diligent in its

responsibility to find those who come to the United States to prey upon our communities

and ultimately have them removed from the country.�

Last week�s arrestees (46 men and 9 women) included nationals from 22 countries � Mexico

(20); Jamaica (5), Ecuador (4), Honduras (3), Colombia (2), Dominican Republic (2), El Salvador

(2), Guatemala (2), Yemen (2), Bangladesh (1), France (1), Guyana (1), Jordan (1), Nigeria

(1), Poland (1), Romania (1), Slovakia (1), Spain (1), Trinidad (1), Yemen (1), Serbia

(1), Egypt (1).Although Kings and Queens counties accounted for the largest number of arrests

during the operation, ERO deportation officers conducted enforcement actions in all boroughs

of New York City, and Putnam and Westchester counties.ERO deportation officers carry out

targeted enforcement operations every day in locations around the country as part of

the agency�s ongoing efforts to protect the nation, uphold public safety, and protect

the integrity of our immigration laws and border controls.

These operations involve existing, established Fugitive Operations Teams.

During such enforcement operations ICE officers frequently encounter additional suspects who

may be in the United States in violation of federal immigration laws.

Those individuals will be evaluated on a case by case basis and, when appropriate, arrested

by ICE.

Of those arrested are:

Cedric Marston, 41, a previously removed Jamaican citizen, was arrested by ERO deportation officers

in Jamaica, New York, Nov. 20, for immigration violations.

Marstonwas previously removed to Jamaica by the legacy Immigration and Naturalization

Service March 26, 1999, following a California felony conviction for possession of concentrated

cannabis, for which he was sentenced to three years of probation.

On May 2, 2017, Marstonwas arrested by the New York Police Department (NYPD) on local

charges.

On that same date, ERO deportation officers lodged an immigration detainer with the NYPD�s

Queens Central Booking, however, Marston was released from NYPD custody, without the detainer

being honored and without notification to ICE. Marston has criminal histories in California,

Georgia and New York, and has prior felony convictions for criminal possession of a controlled

substance and falsifying business records, in addition to numerous misdemeanor convictions.

He is currently detained in ICE custody.

An alien who re-enters the United States after having been previously deported is a federal

felony charge punishable by up to 20 years in federal prison, if convicted.

Dane John, 35, a Guyanese citizen, was arrested by the NYPD June 9, 2017, on local charges.

On that same date, ERO deportation officers lodged an immigration detainer with the NYPD�s

Brooklyn Central Booking.

On June 10, 2017, John was released from NYPD custody without the detainer being honored

and without notification to ICE.

On October 16, 2017, the NYPD arrested John again on local charges.

On that same date, ERO deportation officers lodged an immigration detainer with the NYPD�s

Queens Central Booking.

John was later released from NYPD custody without the detainer being honored and without

notification to ICE.

John has an extensive criminal history, with prior convictions for kidnapping in the 2nddegree,

criminal possession of a weapon in the 2nd degree (loaded firearm), and assault in the

2nd degree (intent to cause physical injury with a weapon), for which he served seven

years in prison.

On Nov. 14, ERO deportation officers arrested John in Brooklyn, New York, on immigration

violations, and he was issued an administrative removal order.

He is currently detained in ICE custody, pending a removal to Guyana.

Hector Norales-Chavez, 20, a Honduran citizen, who was released from New York City custody

on three separate occasions since May 2017, and has 18 pending criminal charges.

He was arrested by ERO deportation officers Nov. 15, 2017, in Bronx, New York, on immigration

violations.

On May 23, 2017, Norales-Chavez was arrested by the NYPD on local charges.

On May 24, 2017, ERO deportation officers lodged an immigration detainer with the NYPD�s

Bronx Central Booking, however, Norales-Chavez was released from NYPD custody without the

detainer being honored and without notification to ICE.

On Aug. 7, 2017, Norales-Chavez was arrested by the NYPD on local charges.

On that same date, ERO deportation officers lodged an immigration detainer with the NYPD�s

Bronx Central Booking, and again Norales-Chavez was released from NYPD custody without the

detainer being honored and without notification to ICE.

On Oct. 6, 2017, Norales-Chavez was arrested by the NYPD on local charges.

On that same date, ERO deportation officers lodged an immigration detainer with the NYPD�s

Bronx Central Booking, and again, Norales-Chavez was released from NYPD custody without the

detainer being honored and without notification to ICE.

Norales-Chavez is currently detained in ICE custody, pending a removal hearing before

an immigration judge.

Olivier Deverine, 44, a French citizen, who was released from New York City custody on

three separate occasions since March 2017, was arrested by ERO deportation officers in

Brooklyn on Nov. 20, 2017.

Deverine was arrested by the NYPD March 29, 2017, on local charges.

On that same date, ERO deportation officers lodged an immigration detainer with the NYPD�s

Brooklyn Central Booking.

On March 30, 2017, Deverine was released from NYPD custody without the detainer being honored

and without notification to ICE.

On May 11, 2017, Deverine was arrested by the NYPD on local charges, and ERO deportation

officers lodged an immigration detainer with the NYPD�s Brooklyn Central Booking.

Deverine was later released from NYPD custody without the detainer being honored and without

notification to ICE.

On Sept. 3, 2017, Deverine was arrested by the NYPD on local charges, and ERO deportation

officers lodged an immigration detainer with the NYPD�s Brooklyn Central Booking.

On Sept. 4, 2017, Deverine was released from NYPD custody without the detainer being honored

and without notification to ICE.

He is currently detained in ICE custody, pending removal to France.

Peter Macura, 28, a citizen of Slovakia, was arrested by the New York Police Department

(NYPD) May 12, 2017, on local charges.

On the same date, ERO deportation officers lodged an immigration detainer with the NYPD�s

Queens Central Booking, however, Macura was released from NYPD custody without the detainer

being honored and without notification to ICE.

On July 30, 2017, the NYPD arrested Macura on local charges.

On the same date, ERO deportation officers lodged an immigration detainer with the NYPD�s

Manhattan Central Booking, however, Macurawas released from NYPD custody without the detainer

being honored and without notification to ICE.

On Nov. 13, 2017, ERO deportation officers arrested Macura in Manhattan on immigration

violations.

He is currently detained in ICE custody, pending removal to Slovakia.

This week-long enforcement operation was conducted in accordance with routine, daily targeted

operations conducted by ICE field operations teams every day to arrest criminal aliens

and other individuals who are in violation of our nation�s immigration laws.

ICE deportation officers conduct targeted enforcement operations every day in locations

around the country as part of the agency�s ongoing efforts to protect the nation, uphold

public safety and protect the integrity of our immigration laws and border controls.

ICE does not conduct sweeps, checkpoints or raids that target aliens indiscriminately.

This operation targeted public safety threats, such as convicted criminal aliens, gang members,

and individuals who have violated our nation�s immigration laws, including those who re-entered

the country after being deported and immigration fugitives ordered deported by federal immigration

judges.

Reports to the contrary create panic and put communities and law enforcement personnel

in unnecessary danger.

Any groups falsely reporting such activities are doing a disservice to those they claim

to support.

Those not being criminally prosecuted will be processed for removal from the United States.

Those who have outstanding orders of deportation, or who returned to the United States illegally

after being deported, are subject to removal from the country.

Detainers serve as a legally-authorized request, upon which a law enforcement agency may rely,

to continue to maintain custody of an alien for up to 48 hours so that ICE may assume

custody for removal purposes.

Pursuant to ICE policy, all ICE detainers are submitted with an accompanying administrative

An actual descendant of Pocahontas has weighed in on the controversy surrounding President

Donald Trump and his "Pocahontas" jokes targeting Sen. Elizabeth Warren, and you might

be surprised what she has to say.

Debbie "White Dove" Porreco is a direct descendant of the Native American legend,

and even served as Disney's model for the animated movie version of her ancestor.

When she was interviewed recently about President Trump's use of Pocahontas' name to ridicule

Elizabeth Warren, she did not hold back.

Porreco said she is a fan of President Trump, and said she once met Trump, who asked her

if his "Pocahontas" jokes offended her.

"I told him no, it doesn't offend me," she said in the interview.

After it was revealed that Warren claimed she was 1/32 Cherokee in order to get special

treatment as a college professor, many cried foul.

They called her claims of Indian heritage dubious and demanded proof.

She has yet to provide it.

That led to many mocking Warren with the nickname "Pocahontas."

Trump himself jumped on the bandwagon during his campaign for President, and has not let

up.

His comments this week during a ceremony honoring Navajo "code talkers" led to much criticism.

You won't hear any criticism from Porreco, however.

The Daily Caller reports.

In a September interview with Sky News, Debbie "White Dove" Porreco said that Trump once

asked her if it offended her that he used the name "Pocahontas" to refer to the

Democratic senator.

"I know that he uses 'Pocahontas' sometimes with Elizabeth Warren," Porreco explained.

"He said, 'well does that offend you when I use that?'

And I told him no, it doesn't offend me."

"If Pocahontas were alive today, she would be very proud of President Trump," Porreco

said.

"Just like Pocahontas was a heroine, Donald Trump is going to be our hero."

The media and Sen. Warren, who has very dubious claims of a Native American ancestry, have

called Trump's use of Pocahontas a "slur."

Sky News contrasted Porreco's comments with those of Irene Bedard, who voiced Pocahontas

in the cartoon Disney movie.

"Do I think Pocahontas would be a fan of Trump?

Oh no," Bedard said.

"Misogyny and bullying and name-calling at its finest.

It is not intelligent discourse."

Porreco, who was the model for Disney's Pocahontas character, was recently profiled

in an article in Palm Beach Daily News.

The piece explained that Porreco grew up poor on a reservation before attending college

and working as a flight attendant.

"Sometimes when I'm dining at Mar-a-Lago, I think to myself, 'You've come a long

way from that Indian reservation you started in," she said.

"Pocahontas had dreams and went to England.

My dreams brought me to Palm Beach."

The case of Jose Ines Garcia Zarate has been touted as the case against illegal immigration

killing, including murder, involuntary manslaughter, and assault with a deadly weapon with the

courts only convicting him of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

As one would imagine, the left is ecstatic – but the fact that they are celebrating

this injustice has many people downright baffled.

Seemingly saying "in your face" to those against illegal immigration, they're casting

aside the fact that Steinle should still be alive if Zarate wasn't in the country illegally.

Even worse yet, in doing so, the left has essentially spit on the woman's grave by

shrugging their shoulders and saying "it was no big deal" and "just an accident."

My guess is, they wouldn't feel that way if it was their daughter who was needlessly

gunned down by a criminal who shouldn't have even been on our streets.

However, Zarate and the left may want to hold off on celebrating as this case isn't quite

over.

In fact, President Donald Trump just got involved – and boy did he just slap the illegal immigrant

with some brutal revenge after the nasty judge let him off the hook.

Come to find out, the DOJ has been directed to look into filing federal charges against

Zarate, seeing how the sanctuary state chose to appease political correctness rather than

justice.

Although he's looking at 3 years behind bars (two of which he's already spent in

jail while his trial took place), things could be about to get a lot worse.

Justice Department spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores acknowledged Friday that the DOJ is

looking at federal charges.

She suggested a possible charge could be felony re-entry or a charge pertaining to a violation

of supervised release.

"We're looking at every option and we will prosecute this to the fullest extent

of the law because these cases are tragic and entirely preventable," Flores said on

"Fox & Friends" Friday.

She also urged local governments to "reconsider" sanctuary policies.

Then, just this morning, the president added, "The Kate Steinle killer came back and back

over the weakly protected Obama border, always committing crimes and being violent, and yet

this info was not used in court.

His exoneration is a complete travesty of justice.

But, he wasn't done there.

"The jury was not told the killer of Kate was a 7 time felon.

The Schumer/Pelosi Democrats are so weak on Crime that they will pay a big price in the

2018 and 2020 Elections," President Trump concluded, his justifiable anger palpable.

In the end, even Attorney General Jeff Sessions also lambasted the verdict.

"When jurisdictions choose to return criminal aliens to the streets rather than turning

them over to federal immigration authorities, they put the public's safety at risk.

San Francisco's decision to protect criminal aliens led to the preventable and heartbreaking

death of Kate Steinle," Sessions said.

"While the State of California sought a murder charge for the man who caused Ms. Steinle's

death—a man who would not have been on the streets of San Francisco if the city simply

honored an ICE detainer—the people ultimately convicted him of felon in possession of a

firearm," he continued.

Then, without mention of any additional charges, he added that the DOJ "will continue to

ensure that all jurisdictions place the safety and security of their communities above the

convenience of criminal aliens," according to Fox News.

America is a country of laws.

The people living in this nation come first, above all else.

If we can't take care of and protect the people here, then we have no business letting

anyone in.

There is a reason we have always had borders and immigration laws — and we need to return

to enforcing them.

The left is actively defending a repeated deportee and felon who shot an innocent American

woman in the back.

Not only does this show that political bias outranks common sense, but it shows just how

far we've fallen as a country.

When you shoot and kill someone in cold blood, you go to jail – and I strongly suggest

During a segment on Don Lemon's show, CNN commentator Ana Navarro decided that even

though she's no medical doctor, she would just invent a diagnosis in order to attack

the president.

The Nicaraguan-born contributor declared that Trump "looks weird," and took it upon

herself to claim out of thin air that the president has Alzheimer's disease or dementia.

"I can tell you from an untrained eye, it looks weird," she declared.

Wait — is "an untrained eye" now a qualification?

Please keep this woman away from Web MD.

"It makes me recall people who have early onset dementia, it makes me recall people

who are in the early stages of Alzheimer's," the CNN reporter rambled.

"His constant repetition — he goes back to the same themes over and over again.

He continues repeating the same lies, the same fabrications, picking the same fights,"

Navarro continued, apparently unaware that she had just described her own news network.

"He's been going on with the NFL now and the athletes for months," the CNN contributor

whined.

"I don't know what he's going to do when football season is over.

Start picking on what?

Kindergartens?"

Um, are kindergartners being paid millions of dollars while refusing to stand for the

national anthem in taxpayer-backed stadiums?

claimed that he had a form of autism.

Even Chelsea Clinton stepped up to defend Barron from O'Donnell and others who thought

spreading rumors about disorders was a great smear tactic.

"Barron Trump deserves the chance every child does-to be a kid," the former first

daughter wrote in January.

It seems that the left has graduated from spreading autism and Asperger's rumors to

making up claims about Alzheimer's.

Maybe they're slowly working through a medical dictionary.

Specifically, a Mediate article states that Flynn was set to "testify Trump 'directed

him' to contact Russia" and alluded that this would take Trump down.

all "fake news."

Yet again, we're seeing fake news at its finest as the left desperately grabs at whatever

straws they can in order to attack Trump.

Flynn isn't in trouble for talking to the Russians because what he did was not criminal.

soon enough, a guilty plea.

Furthermore, the leftist hack Brian Ross over at ABC claims that the network was told by

a Flynn "confidant" that the former National Security Advisor will testify against Trump.

Of course, we've seen enough times by now that these so-called "confidants" or "anonymous

sources" are just a cover for the networks to spread unsubstantiated and flagrantly false

reports – or, fake news, if you will.

As if that wasn't enough, it seems that the liberal media was completely wrong in

their reporting as Trump isn't directly involved in the slightest.

According to The Daily Caller, "Additional reporting by Fox News indicates that Flynn

was directed to contact Russians by a senior member of the transition team, not by Trump

when he was a candidate, as ABC News initially reported."

Just like that, the world was turned upside down on its head because of the fake news.

Social media ignited, the stock markets tanked, and the world was good for the left, but they're

Setting the record straight, he released a scathing statement.

"The false statements involved mirror the false statements to White House officials

which resulted in his resignation in February of this year," Trump attorney Ty Cobb said,

speaking of the Flynn developments.

"Nothing about the guilty plea or the charge implicates anyone other than Mr. Flynn,"

Cobb added in his prepared statement.

"The conclusion of this phase of the Special Counsel's work demonstrates again that the

Special Counsel is moving with all deliberate speed and clears the way for a prompt and

reasonable conclusion," Cobb continued, according to CNBC.

The left is really digging a hole for themselves.

Still, they don't realize that their own dishonesty turned the American people against

them.

Rather than acknowledge what they did wrong, they instead have chosen to deny and continue

in the same fashion, twisting facts in an attempt to suit their narrative.

Yet again, they have jumped the gun and chosen to spread fake news because they thought they

could benefit from it rather than do their research and responsibly put out the truth.

The liberal media is fake news – and at this point, they've lost all credibility.
