Trump news on Youtube Dec 2 2018

Russia is putting on a brave face after U.S. President Donald Trump abruptly junked a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin

It's all about internal U.S. politics and "anti-Russian hysteria," Russian officials shrug

But Trump's snub was a clear kick to Putin just as he arrived at a Group of 20 summit where Western leaders banded together to denounce Russia's actions in Ukraine

So Putin turned elsewhere for attention. He subbed in Turkey's president for the time slot he had reserved for Trump, and sought to strengthen his alliance with China and other non-Western economies

And he cozied up at Friday's round-table talks to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, somewhat of a fellow outcast at the G-20 over his suspected role in the killing of a dissident Saudi journalist

Putin and Trump "said hi to each other," according to the Russian leader's spokesman — but didn't shake hands or otherwise interchange, even during the "family photo" when leaders rub elbows as they get into place and usually exchange small talk

Putin himself hasn't publicly addressed Trump's rejection, but hinted at the potential fallout if the leaders of the world's two biggest nuclear powers can't talk to each other: Putin said in Buenos Aires that the U

S. intention to opt out of a Cold War-ear nuclear pact "creates risks of an uncontrollable arms race

" As the summit opened, European leaders lined up to criticize what one called Russia's "aggression" on Ukraine — the weekend seizure of Ukrainian ships and crew members near Crimea

The Group of 7 foreign ministers issued a statement demanding the seamen's release

The standoff was the official reason that Trump cancelled his meeting with Putin, calling what's happening in Ukraine "very bad

" The Russian interpretation of the cancellation, however, echoed that of some of Trump's critics at home, who noted the move came amid new challenges for Trump in the probe into Russia's alleged role in his 2016 election campaign

"If the domestic situation and the pressure from Russophobes like Ukraine and its sponsors prevents the U

S. president from developing normal ties with the Russian president . we will wait for another chance," Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, adding "love can't be forced

" Prominent Russian lawmaker Leonid Slutsky called Trump's cancellation — announced unexpectedly on Twitter just hours before the G-20 kicked off — "a show

" He said Trump probably fears that if he meets with Putin, his domestic rivals "will call him a Russian agent

" Isolated by Western democracies, Putin pushed instead to inject new strength into the so-called BRICS grouping of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa

"The five can, for a good reason, play a more significant role in the global financial system, strive to continue the reform of the IMF and strengthen our influence in the Fund," Putin said at a BRICS meeting

He wasn't avoiding Western critics, though. Putin met France's president Friday — carefully drawing a map of Ukraine's coastline to explain Russia's claims that its seizures of the Ukrainian ships was justified — and will see Germany's chancellor Saturday

Still, what Putin really wants is to make a deal with Trump. The Russian leader, who views global politics as a cynical power play, sees himself as a consummate negotiator who can advance Moscow's interests through strong personal contacts with foreign leaders

He repeatedly voiced a belief that Trump sincerely wants to improve ties with Russia but has been prevented from doing so by his political foes

"Playing the Russian card has become a convenient tool for solving internal political problems," Putin said recently

"I hope it will end someday. Maybe it will happen in 2020 when the next U.S. presidential election is held and he will no longer have to constantly look back at those who engage in anti-Russian rhetoric

" Putin's wish list is topped by a desire to see an end to crippling anti-Russian sanctions imposed by the U

S. and its allies for Russia's annexation of Ukraine's Crimean Peninsula, its support for separatist insurgents in eastern Ukraine and other actions by Moscow

Putin also wants to talk to Trump about his intention to opt out of the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty over alleged Russian violations

Putin strongly denied any Russian breaches of the pact. The Russian leader has warned that if the United States deploys intermediate-range missiles that are currently banned under the treaty to Europe, Russia will have to target the nations that would host them

Such weapons are seen as extremely destabilizing as they take just a few minutes to reach targets, leaving virtually no time for decision-makers and dramatically increasing the possibility of a nuclear conflict over a false attack warning or technical glitch

There was a risk that the Trump-Putin meeting could have worked out badly for both of them

After the summit with Putin in July, Trump was widely criticized for failing to publicly denounce Russia's interference in the 2016 U

S. election and appearing to accept Putin's denials of such activity. More anti-Russian sanctions followed and relations soured further

TRUMP JUST BLINDSIDED CONGRESS IN GENIUS MOVE, SENDS PAUL RYAN SCRAMBLING

Washington, D.C. has been in a whirlwind this past week.

It seems as though they always are.

But this time it is because President Trump now wants Congress and the Senate to repeal

close to $1.3 trillion in the spending bill that was recently past.

Something he signed into law this past month.

However, the media has been negatively reporting on it and Congressional Democrats are none

to pleased.

It remains to be seen what will happen next and if President Trump's plan will gain

any traction.

The New York Post reported,

"Suffering from signer's remorse, President Trump now wants Congress to repeal some of

the $1.3 trillion spending bill he signed into law last month.

"We are looking at an enhanced rescission package," new White House economic adviser

Larry Kudlow confirmed on "Fox News Sunday."

The massive spending package beefed up domestic and military spending but didn't include

the money that Trump wanted to build his wall on the Mexican border and a legislative fix

to protect young undocumented immigrants under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals

program.

The bipartisan deal was forged in Congress to keep the government funded through September.

Trending: BUSTED!!

For Months!

Trump and Republicans got an earful from their base about adding to the deficit and not demanding

border wall funding.

Now, the White House is working with Congress on new legislation to undo some of the spending.

"I think the Republican Party on the Hill has finally figured out it's really not

a bad idea to trim some spending," said Kudlow, White House National Economic Council

Director.

"Because after all, spending can lead to deficits and spending interferes with the

economy.

"

"President Trump is a deregulator and a tax cutter.

We want a much more modest government role," he continued.

Trump had initially threatened on Twitter to veto the spending bill but caved into signing

the hard-fought bipartisan deal to avoid a government shutdown.

Now, the White House and GOP leaders in the House and Senate are drafting a plan to rescind

billions of dollars in spending, Axios reported Sunday.

One possible target could be foreign aid.

Negotiators set a target of a $60 billion claw back but have acknowledged a smaller

goal is more likely to pass the GOP-controlled House and Senate.

Congress returns to work this week following a two-week spring break recess."

One of the biggest concerns that people have about the rescission package is the alleged

potential cuts to the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

Funding allotments in 2017 for the fiscal year were $15.8 billion for the program.

While media outlets are saying that $7 billion will be cut from CHIP in reality they are

misrepresenting what is going on.

The money regarding CHIP is money that was never used from fiscal year 2017.

Not money that is allotted for next year and being taken away.

The CHIP money under consideration for modification never even touched CHIP and was unused from

the previous year.

The Heritage Foundation reported,

"It's a good first step toward re-establishing fiscal responsibility.

Congress should embrace it and quickly adopt the president's rescission package.

Still, the package does nothing to claw back the tens of billions of additional dollars

in wasteful spending authorized by the 2018 Omnibus Appropriations Act.

Nor is it the answer to the nation's long-term debt problem.

Congress and the president should work together on additional rescission packages that target

2018 spending and pass a fiscal year 2019 budget that rolls back the latest budget deal

and addresses the programs driving the national debt.

The president's rescission package would take back $15 billion in previously provided

spending authority.

Of that, $7 billion would come from funds provided in 2017 to the Children's Health

Insurance Program, also known as CHIP.

No authority was ever actually granted to CHIP to spend that money.

The obvious question: If the money was never going to be spent anyway, then how is it "saving"

taxpayers money to rescind it?

CHIP rescissions have been abused by Congress as one of the most common budget gimmicks

to pay for unrelated spending.

By rescinding these funds and returning them to the Treasury, they can't be used to pay

for other spending.

A further $4.8 billion in rescission comes from the Department of Energy's advanced

technology vehicle manufacturing and innovative technology loan programs.

The loan programs are remnants of the 2008 auto industry bailout.

Neither has generated new loans since 2011.

Unspent emergency funds from the 2015 Ebola outbreak and from relief provided in the wake

of Superstorm Sandy in 2012 are also in the rescission package.

The remainder of the request is spread across several agencies and programs."

But Democrats do not like the facts.

They are too busy trying to gear up to take back the majority come November.

So they are playing games in an attempt to twist the narrative to hold on to the minority

vote because it is their only chance of winning elections.

Without that vote they are done.

While it may work, the rest remains to

be seen.

AFTER RAT LAWYER BETRAYS TRUMP, DONALD UNLEASHES THE HAMMER OF JUSTICE

Cohen flipped on his old boss, but he didn't see 'The Donald' coming.

Looks like Michael Cohen is shaping up to be the worst lawyer in history.

After trying to throw Donald Trump under the bus earlier in the year, he's at it again.

The liberal media is on a roll today, excited over Cohen's recent claims.

According to reports, he pled guilty to lying to Congress over a statement he made.

This process crime has been twisted to suggest Trump was working with Russia over a business

deal in 2016.

The dishonest media is trumpeting the news like it's a smoking gun for impeachment.

But the president just dropped the hammer on his old lawyer and the lying press.

From Mediaite:

The Commander in Chief called Cohen a "weak person and not a very smart person" and

"what he's trying to do is get a reduced sentence."

It is not clear if Trump is claiming that Cohen lied to Congress in 2016, a charge to

which he has pleaded guilty, or is he claiming that Cohen is lying about the previous lying

to Congress.

At issue was the development of a Trump Tower hotel in Moscow, which Trump explained as

a "well-known project" that "everyone knew about."

Trump defended looking into the real estate development as a "deal that didn't happen"

but that if he "did do it, then there would have been nothing to it," as he was running

his business while running for president.

Again, the liberal, anti-Trump media is trying to stir up controversy where there is none.

They once claimed Trump colluded with Putin to steal the 2016 election.

There has never been evidence to prove this.

SHARE if you believe Trump is innocent!

Now, they are pointing to a failed development deal—a deal that never went through—as

evidence of electoral collusion?

They are just getting pathetic.

As the Mueller probe and the corrupt media go on and on over this, they continue to neglect

real crimes committed during the election.

Those include the antics of the Clinton campaign.

Trump was quick to call them out on it.

Did you ever see an investigation more in search of a crime?

At the same time Mueller and the Angry Democrats aren't even looking at the atrocious, and

perhaps subversive, crimes that were committed by Crooked Hillary Clinton and the Democrats.

A total disgrace!

When will this illegal Joseph McCarthy style Witch Hunt, one that has shattered so many

innocent lives, ever end-or will it just go on forever?

After wasting more than $40,000,000 (is that possible?), it has proven only one thing-there

was NO Collusion with Russia.

So Ridiculous!

That's just for starters.

Clinton committed a litany of suspicious actions during the election, including taking over

her own party a year before the nomination.

There is a long trail of evidence that she, not Trump, colluded with Russian agents to

craft a fake dossier.

That dossier was meant to smear Trump, destroying his chances at winning.

Yet where is her investigation?

Why isn't Mueller looking at the real evidence and the real crimes?

How much more evidence do we need to prove Mueller's probe

is

a witch hunt?

Moon, Trump agree next N. Korea-U.S. summit will create momentum for denuclearization - Duration: 2:18.

Now,... onto the South Korean leader's trip to the G20 Summit in Argentina.

President Moon Jae-in and U.S. President Donald Trump held talks Friday on the sidelines of

the summit.

North Korea dominated most of their discussion.

Shin Se-min has this story.

The leaders of South Korea and the United States in tune on North Korea.

Presidents Moon Jae-in and Donald Trump sat down on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in

Argentina on Friday for a frank discussion with just their translators in attendance.

They vowed to align their policies to ensure the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula

remains on track.

"President Trump, while affirming his commitment to hold a second North Korea-U.S. summit early

next year,... asked that South Korea and the U.S. maintain close cooperation so the summit

will be another historic milestone in the process of denuclearizing North Korea."

President Moon's chief press secretary explained that President Trump reaffirmed his pledge

to hold a second summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un,... and noted that Kim's

planned reciprocal visit to Seoul may create new momentum in efforts to denuclearize Pyeongyang

and establish peace in the region.

Although the two did not go into details on when Kim might travel to the South,... it's

viewed that Kim's visit would help the ongoing push for peace.

The Blue House official said the question now is on whether the North Korean leader

sticks to his pledge.

On North Korea sanctions,...

Presidents Moon and Trump agreed that keeping the regime under already imposed sanctions

is necessary until the Korean Peninsula is completely denuclearized.

While the two allies share the goal of complete denuclearization,... their approach on how

to achieve it isn't in lockstep.

Seoul has been pushing to improve ties with Pyeongyang through economic engagement,...

while Washington has been pursuing a dual policy of pressure and dialogue which has

caused friction between the North and the U.S.

"The meeting between Presidents Moon and Trump was a chance to reopen the possibility of

Kim Jong-un visiting Seoul by the years' end-- in the hope that it could give the stalled

denuclearization process another push.

Shin Se-min, Arirang News, Buenos Aires."

Trump sees "good signs" of reaching deal with China, ahead of his dinner with Xi - Duration: 1:31.

Hopes are rising that the United States and China might be able to resolve their deep

differences over trade.

Presidents Donald Trump and Xi Jinping will meet in the next 24 hours or so for talks

that could potentially bring an end to their trade war.

Cha Sang-mi reports.

President Trump hinted he was positive about the prospect of reaching a ceasefire in his

administration's trade war with China when he has dinner with Chinese President Xi Jinping

on Saturday evening, local time.

"There are some good signs.

We'll see what happens."

Speaking to reporters covering the G20 Summit in Buenos Aires on Friday,...

President Trump said officials from both countries have been laying the groundwork for a possible

deal.

"We've already spoken very hard.

If we could make a deal, that would be good.

I think we'd like to and we'll see.

But we'll be meeting with President Xi in a little while, and for the most part tomorrow

would be our big meeting."

This comes after U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said Trump and Xi would agree on a "framework"

for further talks to resolve trade tensions.

Financial markets celebrated the potential outcome, with U.S. stocks jumping on Friday

and Chinese equities-trackers ETF and FXI performing much better than recent weeks.

Yet investors say a desirable "deal" for markets would be where all further tariffs are put

on hold and the two largest economies in the world sit down to negotiate an agreement.

What do you think of US President Donald Trump's behaviour?

It is not in my place to judge presidents' behaviour.

I assume that Donald Trump, in his characteristic manner, posted a tweet from which the entire world learned the news.

I doubt that this step will help in resolving a whole range of important international issues.

Of course, love cannot be forced.

If the domestic situation and the pressure from Russia-haters such as Ukraine and its sponsors prevent the US President from building a normal relationship with the Russian President, which we have repeatedly supported, we will wait for another opportunity.
