Trump news on Youtube Dec 26 2018

Are you still a believer in Trump? Because at any age it's marginal, right? — napacab (@napacab) December 25, 2018 "Et tu crois encore à Donald Trump? Parce qu'à n'importe quel âge, c'est rare, hein!" ARE YOU STILL A BELIEVER IN SANTA? BECAUSE AT SEVEN IT'S MARGINAL, RIGHT?!? pic

" So, I did this once to an eight-year-old, expressing disbelief that he still believed in Santa

The difference is, I was six. https://t.co/O0ZhQXnu2a — Josh Barro (@jbarro) December 25, 2018 "Bon

J'avoue: je l'ai fait une fois à un enfant de huit ans, de lui exprimer mon doute quant au fait qu'il croit encore au Père Noël

La seule différence, c'est que j'avais six ans." À voir également sur Le HuffPost:

Trump's 'poor me' Christmas Eve tweet draws mockery as 800,000 federal workers go without pay - Duration: 11:10.

Marooned in the White House on a gray Christmas Eve, unable to fly off to his beach resort in Florida to play golf, President Trump unleashed a morose tweet Monday bemoaning his fate in the world's most famous gilded prison

"I am all alone (poor me) in the White House waiting for the Democrats to come back and make a deal on desperately needed Border Security," he began

Advertisement >  It was the tweet that launched a thousand memes — including a rapidly unearthed cameo by Trump in the 1992 film "Home Alone 2," in which the real estate mogul briefly encounters Macaulay Culkin's character, Kevin McCallister, at the Plaza Hotel in New York City

Other online responses traded on Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol," especially when the uncaring miser Ebenezer Scrooge is shown the error of his ways

More than a few commentators suggested that if Trump were feeling lonely, he could visit U

S. troops in a war zone, a trip he has yet to make.  The president won't be alone on Christmas Day

The first lady flew back to Washington from Mar-a-Lago, the Florida beachfront resort where Trump had planned to spend a 16-day holiday

In the meantime, in a dozen tweets, he praised the autocratic regime in Saudi Arabia, lashed out at his outgoing Pentagon chief, said he hoped to meet North Korea's dictator again, slammed the Federal Reserve as "the only problem" in the U

S. economy and blamed Democrats for the partial government shutdown that he last week said he would be "proud" to cause

On Friday, Trump had rejected a bipartisan stopgap funding bill to keep the government open

That forced a shutdown early Saturday, paralyzing about a fourth of the federal government and forcing about 800,000 federal workers to go without pay over the holidays

It is the third partial shutdown of 2018.  At issue is Trump's demand for a $5-billion down payment to extend existing walls and fences along the border with Mexico and Democrats' refusal to pay more than $1

3 billion for a mix of border security measures.  No resolution in the impasse is likely before Thursday at the earliest, and possibly not before the new year next week

Negotiations appeared at a standstill, and congressional leaders left Washington for the holiday

Some effects were small but symbolic, including the darkening of the National Christmas Tree over the weekend

It was lit on Christmas Eve, however.  Trump renounced any notion of culpability for the shutdown, summoning his Homeland Security secretary, Kirstjen Nielsen, for a meeting Monday on border security

"Virtually every Democrat we are dealing with today strongly supported a Border Wall or Fence," he tweeted beforehand

"It was only when I made it an important part of my campaign…that they turned against it

"  Democratic leaders blamed Trump, saying negotiations have been impossible because it's never clear where the president stands

"It's Christmas Eve and @realDonaldTrump is plunging the country into chaos," Rep

Nancy Pelosi (D-San Francisco), who will become House Speaker next week due to Democratic gains in the November midterm election, said in a joint statement with Sen

Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), the Senate minority leader.  "Instead of bringing certainty into people's lives, he's continuing the Trump Shutdown just to please right-wing radio and TV hosts," they said

"The president wanted the shutdown, but he seems not to know how to get himself out of it

"  Trump's tweets included a photo of him peering at a piece of paper at his Oval Office desk while two aides — and a portrait of President Lincoln — look on

Advertisement >  "Christmas Eve briefing with my team working on North Korea – Progress being made

Looking forward to my next summit with Chairman Kim!" he wrote of the photo.  By all accounts, the nuclear talks with North Korea have broken down

Despite Trump's claims after he met leader Kim Jong Un in Singapore last June that Pyongyang had committed to give up its nuclear weapons, the country's official news media said Thursday that it would do so only if the United States "completely eliminated" its own nuclear threat

Trump's blizzard of Christmas Eve tweets ranged from self-congratulatory to self-pitying in a now-familiar dynamic for a president who tends to claim either victory — or victimhood

In some, he tried to reassure his supporters — and perhaps himself — to ignore the waves of criticism that followed his abrupt decision to withdraw all U

S. troops from Syria, blindsiding allies and lawmakers and persuading his secretary of Defense to quit in protest

"AMERICA IS RESPECTED AGAIN!" he tweeted.  A nosedive in the stock market — it fell an additional 653 points on a shortened trading day Monday for its worst Christmas Eve ever — has been a particular sore point for Trump, who long claimed credit for the 10-year bull market that crested in October

Apparently thinking of the golf he isn't playing, Trump tweeted that the Fed — the nation's complex central banking system, created to control monetary policy — "is like a powerful golfer who can't score because he has no touch — he can't putt!"  The president's attacks are seen as a threat to the Fed's traditional independence in assessing economic data and setting interest rates

He has personally castigated the Fed chairman, Jerome H. Powell, over the decision to raise its key short-term rate four times this year

Trump apparently also was still smarting from Defense Secretary James N. Mattis' scathing resignation letter last week

The retired four-star Marine general all but accused the president of endangering U

S. security by undermining military alliances and abandoning allies.  On Saturday, Trump dispatched his secretary of State, Michael R

Pompeo, to tell Mattis that he couldn't quit on Feb. 28, as he planned, because he's being fired Jan

1.  Mattis had offered to stay two more months to provide a "smooth transition" to a successor and to attend a NATO defense ministers' meeting in Europe, where Trump is widely distrusted

After several prominent lawmakers endorsed Mattis' call for bolstering military alliances like NATO, Trump complained Monday about "those few Senators who think I don't like or appreciate being allied with other countries

"  "They are wrong, I DO," he tweeted. "What I don't like, however, is when many of these same countries take advantage of their friendship with the United States" in military affairs and trade

"General Mattis did not see this as a problem. I DO, and it is being fixed!" he added

Melania and Donald Trump Sing Christmas Hymns During A Late Night Mass At The National Cathedral - Duration: 4:05.

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania attended a worship service on Christmas Eve.

The first couple arrived at Washington National Cathedral for a late service on Monday night

after answering calls from youngsters phoning the NORAD Santa Tracker.

Trump put business on pause as he and Melania joined in singing Christmas hymns like 'O

Come, All Ye Faithful' at the cathedral that bills the Christmas Eve Holy Eucharist as

'one of the most beautiful services of the year'.

Despite a day of travel, Melania Trump looked stunning in a dark blue, high-necked dress

and deep red heels, ready to take calls.

This forced First Lady Melania to fly back to Washington D.C. from the Mar-a-Lago resort

in Palm Beach on Monday.

Melania was the only member of the family in attendance with President Trump at the

service, according to a White House pool report.

Melania Trump: Former model flashes legs after rushing back to spend Christmas with Donald.

MELANIA TRUMP, 48, joined her husband Donald Trump, 72, in Washington last night as the

presidential couple attended Christmas Eve mass at the National Cathedral.

In the same day the pair fielded calls from the NORAD Santa Tracker and, as ever, Melania

looked incredibly stylish.

Melania Trump fulfilled a double bill of duties as Donald Trump's wife on Christmas Eve

yesterday.

The First Lady attended a service at the National Cathedral in Washington alongside her husband.

They arrived about 11pm.

Melania had previously flown with son Barron to Mar-a-Lago in Florida for the Christmas

holiday but then travelled back on Monday to join her husband after Donald was forced

to cancel his trip to his West Palm Beach-based home due to a government shutdown.

At the cathedral yesterday Melania wore a long black coat as she held hands with Donald.

The coat fell past her knees and was done up, thus hiding the rest of her outfit from

view.

She braved bare legs and added a pop of colour with a pair of dark red heels.

No jewellery could be seen around her neck but her hair fell in her trademark waves around

her shoulders.

Also on Christmas Eve, the US President and Melania spoke with children who called the

NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) Santa tracker in the State Dining Room of

the White House in Washington.

The popular tool uses technologically-advanced satellites to track Santa Claus as he and

his reindeers gallop through the skies.

The NORAD Santa Tracker is immediately distinguishable for its 3D model of Father Christmas and his

reindeer that move in real-time.

She wore a three-quarter-length sleeved dark dress with a high neck which featured buttons

leading down from her collarbone on her right shoulder.

The former model's shapely legs were on full display and were elongated by a striking

pair of red high heels.

Her nails were painted a neutral pale pink and she boosted her trademark dark eye make

up as well as pink lipstick.

Donald wore a classic suit and red tie as the pair sat by the festively-adorned fire

speaking to the children.

It has been revealed that the billionaire's wife apparently does not receive any gifts

from her husband.

Various reports have revealed that Donald does not give Christmas presents.

What is more, Donald doesn't even open his own gifts when he is given then.

He told Page Six in 2005: "Everyone gives me presents and I never open them.

I'm like a bad-present person."

A source told Hollywood Life: "Melania says he's next to impossible to buy for.

Often they don't exchange gifts at all for Christmas."

Trump claims positive progress made with N. Korea - Duration: 0:59.

newse US President Donald Trump took to Twitter over the holidays after being

briefed by his top nuclear envoy they returned from a visit to Seoul he

uploaded a photo of himself with the State Department's Special

Representative for North Korea Steven vegan and National Security Council

official Allyson Hooker and wrote Christmas briefing with my team working

on North Korea progress being made looking forward to my next summit with

chairman Kim referring of course to North Korean leader Kim jong-un

this comes after beacon announced plans to review US policies on providing

humanitarian aid to the regime and said the u.s. is looking forward to

discussing the next steps with Pyongyang sources also say vice president Mike

Pence made a recent decision to call off a speech on North Korea's human rights

abuses and this shows the u.s. is concerned about alienating the regime

OH BOOM!! TRUMP JUST DROPS MASSIVE BOMBSHELL OVER GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN!! TOP DEMS ON THE

RUN!

now to the shutdown standoff as the president blames the Democrats tweeting I am all alone

poor me in the White House waiting for the Democrats to come back and make a deal on

desperately needed border security at some point the Democrats not wanting to make a

deal will cost our country more money than the border wall we're all talking about crazy

joining me now haven't Sheridan GOP strategist and former spokesman for the MIT Romney campaign

and RNC and Robin burrow former Obama campaign regional director and Democratic strategist

thank you both for joining me on this

Christmas Eve wonderful to see you both let's talk a little bit about the timeline this

is what Mick Mulvaney had to say and I think was Fox News Sunday Senate went into recess

until at least Thursday that doesn't mean it beat before Thursday till we get here something

back but I don't think things are going to move very quickly here for the next couple

days he's talking about the next couple days could we see things

potentially stretch into a week potentially several weeks Robin what do you think you

know I honestly do yeah I'm generally a glass has pulled a half-full kind of guy but I think

this is gonna take a while and you know we've we've given part of the way on this deal but

it's not anywhere near the five billion dollars that President Trump wants I think we're gonna

have to meet somewhere in the middle I suspect that we're gonna get a deal on a border fence

if you notice the president's most recent language is saying that also and I think that

that might appease some Democrats because look we were for the secure Fence Act in 2006

on a bipartisan manner I think we can make progress there Molly well it's interesting

you bring that up

there's been a lot of talk about semantics whether if they can just slide wall out of

the documents that are being passed and forth they could come to some sort of compromise

what do you think Kevin it is that the compromise that will have to happen and once things slide

into this new year will Democrats hold out until Nancy Pelosi steps in yeah we're not

gonna have any negotiations at any real negotiations I think itself she's uh she's sworn in on

January 3rd and and she can you know get the approval of the new members that she's gotten

her caucus that are very obviously left-leaning and are not going allow her to do any negotiating

with the White House on this whatsoever at some point though she's gonna have to stand

up to her base and say look we can't shut the government down indefinitely

forever for what we're talking about here is just a few billion dollars it's it's not

you know this isn't gonna solve the problem of all border security but at the end of the

day what are we talking about we're talking about a few billion dollars especially between

the 1 and the 5 I mean it's a keep the government shut down forever for that I mean it's it's

not much and it seems like we're talking a lot about wording as well there's a fairly

new statement here from leader Pelosi and Schumer on the Trump shut down as they you

know as we'll talk about branding and which sides to blame it says Christmas Eve and prison

Trump is plunging the country into chaos the

stock market tanking in the president waging a personal war on the Federal Reserve after

he just fired the Secretary of Defense instead of bringing certainty into people's lives

he's continuing the Trump shutdown just to please right ring radio and TV host meanwhile

different people from the White House are saying different things about what the president

would accept or not accept to end the Trump shutdown so they're really billing this as

the Trump shutdown but once Nancy Pelosi steps in and begins to take over then does the blame

shift a little bit what are the what would the American people think if this goes on

for too long Robin you know honestly it's that's that's a great

question because it's gonna be our problem and you know we just gained 40 seats in the

house that's great but if we don't actually get progress and get work done we're not going

to be able to keep those seats headed into 2020 and 2020 is gonna look not so great for

us presidentially if we can't actually deliver and get work done that's going to require

us to work across the aisle and start giving these Americans some of these reforms that

they want that's how Trump came into office because he was the anti politician so we've

got to get our head the message through our thick heads as Democrats that we've got to

work across the aisle and get something done Molly here's what one Democrat had to say

senator dick durbin take a listen the president just a few days ago said he was proud to author

a shutdown of his own government that he was elected to be the commander in chief and chief

executive it really is in the president's hands to decide he says it's an issue of border

security I think we know better it's an issue of his own political insecurity political

insecurity you know this is something that going back and forth that they have often

targeted the president as being and calling him a toddler that sort of thing that sort

of language being used political insecurity that this is a bone that's being thrown to

the right what do you think Kevin what

do you think that's the sort of language that's being used as we work towards potentially

you know we would hope a solution that's Democrat spin look the border being insecure it's a

problem that goes back and it's too blunt and both parties are to blame for going back

20 years or more I think you know this is a symbolic issue we're talking about a few

billion dollars to to start some some serious structure at the border whatever you want

to call it but the either the American people have lost faith in both sides of Congress

because neither has done anything on it and both have played political games with it I

would argue that you know there was a real shot in 2005 when Democrats were supporting

border security for instance to get a real compromise done on it and

they they bailed on it and they took the issue and they thought it was good politics and

they've run out of ever since and to some extent they've they've continued to win on

it until 2016 with President Trump brought the issue up or then candidate Trump brought

the issue to the to the American people and actually won on it when nobody thought it

was possible so now it's a mainstream Republican issue but look we're gonna have to get security

at the border there's a reason why there's 1520 million people in this country illegally

they got here somehow and some of its coming over the border you need to stop that border

you got to stop the drugs you've got to stop the smuggling so yeah the shutdown will be

watching certainly

and then the coming days potentially into the week following and who and who knows how

long really but that border issue we'll be watching for a much longer time have a feeling

of Kevin Sheridan Rob enviro thanks so much for joining us Merry Christmas Julian thanks

president Trump working to hammer out a deal with lawmakers as the government remains partially

shut down Democrats though showing a not much sign of budging on stopping the border wall

it will never pass the Senate not today not next week not next year so mr. president president

Trump if you want to open the government you must abandon the wall plain and simple all

right so what will it take to strike a deal here here to weigh in on that GOP strategist

Liz Copeland and democratic

political commentator Jonathan Harris guys thanks for coming on this morning Jonathan

want to start with you it looks like the White House has come down quite a bit it looks like

they're offering around two and a half instead of five for fencing and some security is that

gonna play for Chuck Schumer I hope it doesn't according to Chuck Schumer won't play he said

he's not Trump is not getting a wall and I hope if the Democrats can stick to that then

know hopefully alone they already received billions of dollars in the 2016-2017 budget

for border upgrades they don't need this this is about a campaign promise it's not about

border security yep Liz you know the Democrats say that they don't want the wall the wall

does not work but they're willing to spend money on border

security what what is it that they want to try to secure the border that hasn't been

tried before I'm not quite sure I don't know what anyone knows what's going on I think

most of this for the Democrats is just theatrics you could think about in the past 40 years

Congress has only been able to pass the federal appropriations bill one time in four instances

and so when they didn't do that essential government services continued on here we have

Democrats once again willing to shut down our government all in the name of illegal

immigration it doesn't make any sense especially when you consider that people

they're really hurting furloughed government employees statistically more often than not

are Democrats they're not Republicans yes Jonathan now I want to ask you this you know

there's there's a lot of numbers thrown around about the cost of illegal immigration in this

country the president puts a number at like 200 million a year or I'm sorry 200 billion

a year a lot of people say that's grossly inflated but even moderate modest estimates

are in the billions the Democrats right now are really angry over spending five billion

dollars but they ignore the billions that that illegal immigration costs this

country is it fairly obvious to you that this is just about not having a wall and not letting

the president win here well again like I said in the 2016-17 budget they were given bill

of dollars they I think they spent what about six percent of it to upgrade the security

at the border so again I I don't think his concern is about security I think it's about

going back to all these rural parts of the country and going look see I told you I was

gonna get the wall look I'm so strong I can negotiate but instead he's not wanting to

upgrade the fencing that we already have in some of the existing security measures we

already have so I to me it's it's far more about that than

anything else in the idea of blaming the shutdown on the Democrats when Trump clearly said earlier

this month that he would be proud to shut down the government would take full responsibility

for it is absurd yeah Liz same question to you do you think that this the Democrats really

care this much about five billion dollars or is this about making a political point

I think it's about making a political point and to be clear there's nothing wrong we should

want candidates who uphold their campaign pledges once they're in office that's what

President Trump said he was gonna do that's what

he's going to do so as far as I'm concerned when the Democrats say that this isn't a good

use of taxpayers time or money I think that's absurd having strong borders is very important

and there are 11 million illegal immigrants in this country right now the most important

thing that we can focus on to secure in our southern border Liz right back to you real

quick do you think a deal gets done and then what do you think it looks like well incoming

acting chief of staff said that we could expect for this to carry only well in 2019 I'm thinking

somewhere between a third or the fourth week of January we should see a break but I think

the president is

gonna hold strong and commit to making sure that we get funding for the border okay and

Jonathan to you last word I I hope they don't I hope the Democrats stay firm on this and

I hope that Trump is forced to back down on this there's quite a bit of things we could

do in this country with five billion dollars from education infrastructure it's not about

a border wall this is about him trying to keep a promise to his voters that should have

never been made to begin with okay there you have it both sides thank you guys very much

for your time this morning we appreciate it Merry Christmas Merry Christmas Christmas

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT ROCKS DC TRUMP EXPOSES MASSIVE MUELLER COVERUP - Duration: 11:51.

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT ROCKS DC TRUMP EXPOSES MASSIVE MUELLER COVERUP

Robert Mueller is about to make his move.

The special counsel has been digging around for something to use against the President.

And reports are surfacing he is about to blindside Trump with this bombshell indictment.

Mueller has been building a case that the Russians were behind the hacks of the DNC

and Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta's email.

No evidence has been made public that would back up those claims.

In fact, the Nation magazine published a report by NSA experts who determined the hack was

an inside job.

But Mueller is determined to prove it was the Russians – because if it wasn't the

Russians, that means there was no collusion – and is set to indict Russians hackers

and possibly their paymasters.

NBC reports:

"SPECIAL COUNSEL ROBERT MUELLER IS ASSEMBLING A CASE FOR CRIMINAL CHARGES AGAINST RUSSIANS

WHO CARRIED OUT THE HACKING AND LEAKING OF PRIVATE INFORMATION DESIGNED TO HURT DEMOCRATS

IN THE 2016 ELECTION, MULTIPLE CURRENT AND FORMER GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS FAMILIAR WITH

THE MATTER TELL NBC NEWS.

MUCH LIKE THE INDICTMENT MUELLER FILED LAST MONTH CHARGING A DIFFERENT GROUP OF RUSSIANS

IN A SOCIAL MEDIA TROLLING AND ILLEGAL-AD-BUYING SCHEME, THE POSSIBLE NEW CHARGES ARE EXPECTED

TO RELY HEAVILY ON SECRET INTELLIGENCE GATHERED BY THE CIA, THE FBI, THE NATIONAL SECURITY

AGENCY (NSA) AND THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY (DHS), SEVERAL OF THE OFFICIALS SAY.

MUELLER'S CONSIDERATION OF CHARGES ACCUSING RUSSIANS IN THE HACKING CASE HAS NOT BEEN

REPORTED PREVIOUSLY.

SOURCES SAY HE HAS LONG HAD SUFFICIENT EVIDENCE TO MAKE A CASE, BUT STRATEGIC ISSUES COULD

DICTATE THE TIMING.

POTENTIAL CHARGES INCLUDE VIOLATIONS OF STATUTES ON CONSPIRACY, ELECTION LAW AS WELL AS THE

COMPUTER FRAUD AND ABUSE ACT.

ONE U.S. OFFICIAL BRIEFED ON THE MATTER SAID THE CHARGES ARE NOT IMMINENT, BUT OTHER KNOWLEDGEABLE

SOURCES SAID THEY ARE EXPECTED IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS OR MONTHS.

IT'S ALSO POSSIBLE MUELLER COULD OPT NOT TO MOVE FORWARD BECAUSE OF CONCERNS ABOUT

EXPOSING INTELLIGENCE OR OTHER REASONS — OR THAT HE FILES THE INDICTMENT UNDER SEAL, SO

THE PUBLIC DOESN'T SEE IT INITIALLY.

THE SOURCES SAY THE POSSIBLE NEW INDICTMENT — OR MORE THAN ONE, IF THAT'S HOW MUELLER'S

OFFICE DECIDES TO PROCEED — WOULD DELVE INTO THE DETAILS OF, AND THE PEOPLE BEHIND,

THE RUSSIAN INTELLIGENCE OPERATION THAT USED HACKERS TO PENETRATE COMPUTER NETWORKS AND

STEAL EMAILS OF BOTH THE DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL COMMITTEE (DNC) AND CLINTON CAMPAIGN CHAIRMAN

JOHN PODESTA.

THE RELEASE OF EMBARRASSING DEMOCRATIC EMAILS THROUGH WIKILEAKS BECAME A PROMINENT FEATURE

IN THE 2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, CITED AT LEAST 145 TIMES BY REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE DONALD

TRUMP IN THE FINAL MONTH OF THE CAMPAIGN.

AT ONE POINT HE PUBLICLY URGED "RUSSIA" TO FIND AND RELEASE EMAILS TRUMP BELIEVED

WERE MISSING FROM DEMOCRAT HILLARY CLINTON'S PRIVATE SERVER."

Mueller has been asking witnesses if Trump knew about the hacked emails and if he coordinated

in their strategic release.

NBC also reports he may name some Americans as unindicted co-conspirators to pressure

them to cooperate.

But since Mueller is indicting Russians, there is no chance there will ever be a trial.

So he will never have to make his evidence public.

This looks like another scheme to ratchet up the pressure on witnesses to turn over

anything they know on Trump so Mueller can twist it into something he can use to recommend

Congress impeach the President.

We will keep you up to date on any new developments

in this story.

Pres. Trump claims positive progress made with N. Korea - Duration: 0:52.

U.S. President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Christmas Eve after being briefed by his

top nuke envoy that returned from a visit to Seoul.

He uploaded a picture of himself with the State Department's special representative

for North Korea Stephen Biegen, and National Security Council official Allison Hooker,...

and wrote: "Christmas Eve briefing with my team working on North Korea, Progress being

made, Looking forward to my next summit with Chairman Kim."

This comes after Biegun announced plans to review U.S. policies on providing humanitarian

aid to the regime, and said the U.S. is looking forward to discussing the next steps with

Pyeongyang, during a Seoul-Washington working group meeting.

Some sources also claimed Vice President Mike Pence cancelling a speech on North Korea's

human rights abuses last week is proof America is concerned about angering or alienating

the regime and further derailing nuclear talks.
