Right After Michael Cohen Said Trump's Guilty, Rudy Giuliani Embarrassed Him On Live TV

Yesterday came the not so big news from Michael Cohen that Trump was aware of Don Jr's meeting

with the Russia lawyer – that Trump denies.

First off – who cares if he was?

I hardly think that is a crime let alone an impeachable offense.

Second, without tapes, it is "he said, he said."

And as Rudy pointed out, some has an embarrassing credibility problem.

On Thursday's broadcast of CNN's "Cuomo Primetime," Trump legal team member Rudy

Giuliani reacted to reports that Michael Cohen is willing to tell Special Counsel Robert

Mueller that President Trump knew about Donald Trump Jr.'s meeting with Russians prior

to the meeting and approved of the meeting by saying that Cohen has no credibility and

has "been lying for years."

Giuliani said, "I expected something like this from Cohen.

He's been lying all week…he's been lying for years.

I mean, the tapes that we have demonstrate any number of very serious lies by him back

a year and a half ago, including his fooling people, hiding tape recordings, telling them

they weren't recorded, lying to their face, breaking faith with them, taping his client,

which is a disbarrable offense.

I don't see how he has any credibility.

This is basically if you had a trial, and there won't be a trial here, but if you

had a trial, you would say, well, which lie do you want to pick?

You want to pick the first lie, the second lie, or maybe some new lie?

There's nobody that I know that knows him that hasn't warned me that if he's — his

back is up against the wall, he'll lie like crazy, because he's lied all his life."

Giuliani added no one will be able to corroborate Cohen's story because "it didn't happen.

major problem for the president and Donald Trump jr. who between the two of

them have denied the president's knowledge of the meeting nine times oh

it's a political problem to be sure but I don't think it's a legal problem even

if the president knew of the meeting knew exactly the role of the woman who

was there that she was representing the Russian government and even knew that

they were going to go to try to collect dirt that had already been gotten by the

Russians on Hillary Clinton that would be a political sin but it wouldn't be a

federal crime and I think if this is the best that Cohen has to offer

I don't think he's going to be given immunity by the federal prosecutors he

may have to compose and not only sing in order to get that kind of immunity case

this isn't very much from a legal point of view it's a big deal from a political

and public relations point of view but legal

it's a it's a three on a scale of ten maybe well I mean what's also

interesting about Cohen's story on this and again if it turns out to be true

he claims that there are other people present who heard that as well so if

they're under oath you know I guess you know they could back up with Cohen has

to say if in fact that and it turns out and if it turns out there are no other

people that will affect his credibility as well but I think the big picture is

that even if everything he says is true it's not a crime you know in in my new

book the case against impeaching Trump I set out a hypothetical based on this

possibility a hypothetical of even if the president actively sought material

dirt on Hillary Clinton terrible thing but even if he sought it but the dirt

had already been gathered and he wasn't asking them to hack the DNC or do

anything criminal that would not be a crime it would show quote perhaps

collusion but there's nothing in the federal code that makes collusion itself

a crime well professor I mean about those tapes you tweeted yesterday quote

I didn't say Michael avenatti was wrong but that if he's right how did he access

that confidential information talking about there being more tapes he implied

there were more Trump tapes Giuliani says there's only one with Trump's voice

gotten a hold of those tapes he did according to press reports have a

conversation with mr. Cohn at a restaurant and that raises some

questions because you know you're not allowed to speak to some buddy who's

counseled who has a lawyer and ask him do you want to work together to hurt

Trump so I I'm not I don't know whether that occurred but if it did occur I

think Michael has to do some explaining Michael well Alan let me let me say this

 He spent a decade working for the Party of Regions in Ukraine - the party of disgraced pro-Russian ex-President Viktor Yanukovych - building a deep contacts book in Ukrainian politics

 In March 2016 he accepted a role on Donald Trump's 2016 campaign team as campaign manager, a job he held for three months before resigning in August

What is he charged with?  Manafort is on trial in Virginia on tax and bank fraud charges

 He faces 18 criminal counts, which centre on allegations that he hid much of the $60 million he earned in Ukraine in undisclosed overseas bank accounts and failed to pay taxes on it

 Prosecutors also accuse him of lying to U.S. banks to obtain real estate loans in a bid to fund expensive suits and maintain a lavish lifestyle after his client, Yanukovych, fell from power in 2014 and the money stopped

 But they are seeking provide details of Manafort's work for a pro-Russian political party in Ukraine, raising the possibility that new information about his Russian connections could emerge

 Manafort has filed a motion to have details of that work excluded from trial.  U

S. District Judge T.S. Ellis said he plans to rule on whether that Ukraine-related evidence can be included after the jury is selected, a process starting Tuesday morning

A total of 16 jurors, 12 regular and four alternates, were today chosen in the Washington suburb of Alexandria after being screened for potential bias

 "Those documents are relevant," Ellis said, referring to prosecution exhibits showing the nature of Manafort's funds, but added that it was not the end of the issue

No matter who wins this fight, everybody in the United States that isn't a member of the

one percent is going to lose.

Here's what happened: Last week, the Koch Brothers held their little annual "Let's be

rich together and by politicians" retreat, and they had some unkind things to say about

Donald Trump, even though they were incredibly mild.

They said that his White House has created a lot of division here in the United States,

and that they weren't too happy with his budget because they called it "Irresponsible spending."

Well, according to Donald Trump, they may as well have just shot him in the back, because

he fired back on Twitter and said the following over two different tweets here.

This is both of them combined:

"The globalist Koch Brothers, who have become a total joke in real Republican circles, are

against strong borders and powerful trade.

I never sought their support because I don't need their money or bad ideas.

They love my tax and regulation cuts, judicial picks and more.

I made them richer.

Their network is highly overrated.

I've beaten them at every turn.

They want to protect their companies outside the U.S. from being taxed.

I'm for America first and the American worker, a puppet for no one.

Two nice guys with bad ideas.

Make America great again."

Alright, good God, there's so many horrible things to unpack for that.

"I made them richer."

You just admitted right there that all of your horrible policies have been to benefit

the top one percent, people like both the Koch Brothers and yourself.

You admitted it there, jackass.

Number two: "They want to protect their companies outside the U.S. from being taxed."

Could that be why ... of all the tariffs you've imposed ... you haven't touched any of the

goods that your businesses create, or that your daughter's businesses created?

Let's not forget that all of your crap bearing your name is made outside the country, but

you haven't put tariffs on that stuff.

You just put tariffs on everybody else's.

Don't you dare accuse somebody else of not wanting to be taxed, when you're designing

your own policies to enrich yourself.

They paid for the buses to get these idiots in George Washington outfits to show up at

Tea Party rallies.

They paid for it.

If it wasn't for that dumbing down of American politics, we wouldn't have set the stage for

a guy like Donald Trump; not to mention the fact that there are more than 40 people currently

working in the Trump administration who have ties to the Koch Brothers.

Yeah, these two groups of highly-wealthy individuals can act like they're enemies on Twitter, or

say things behind closed doors, but at the end of the day these morons feed off each

other.

The Koch Brothers laid the groundwork to create Trump.

Trump is enacting polices that make the Koch Brothers even richer.

What they're both doing is trying to vie for a little bit of good publicity, at this point.

Unfortunately, it's backfiring spectacularly for both groups.

Nobody comes out of this looking like a winner, but the real loser regardless is going to

be the American public.

We're the ones paying the price for the tax cuts.

We're the ones paying the price for these trade wars that Trump is engaging in.

The Koch Brothers aren't going to lose anything from this.

Trump's not going to lose anything from this, except maybe a few voters here and there.

But at the end of the day, the American public, the average citizen, the voters, we're the

ones who stand to lose everything.

One question has been hovering over Robert Mueller's rigged witch hunt against President

Trump.

Will Trump sit for an interview with the special counsel and his team of biased prosecutors?

Donald Trump's lawyer may have finally answered that question and what he said is very bad

news.

Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani appeared on CNN's "New Day" for a 45 minute marathon interview.

At one point, he addressed the question of President Trump sitting for an interview with

Mueller.

Giuliani stated that although Trump wants to tell his side of the story, he cannot recommend

an interview because the Mueller team is acting in bad faith.

"I think the odds are against it.

But I wouldn't be shocked because he wants to do it so badly.

And you know, on the negotiations about this, when they respond, they've been reasonable.

And then they don't respond."

"They haven't gotten back to us in 10 days over our recommendation of how to do

an interview.

I am sure they are in bad faith about an interview at that point," Giuliani continued.

….Also, why is Mueller only appointing Angry Dems, some of whom have worked for Crooked

Hillary, others, including himself, have worked for Obama….And why isn't Mueller looking

at all of the criminal activity & real Russian Collusion on the Democrats side-Podesta, Dossier?

When asked by CNN to describe Mueller's business relationship with Trump Giuliani

said it was up to Mueller to explain his conflict, but he did state the business dispute between

Trump and Mueller was serious enough that if he was the prosecutor and had that type

of conflict it would have kept him out off the case.

"I can't tell you.

I'm not sure I know exactly what the conflict is.

I have a good idea what it is, it's one that would have kept me out of the investigation,"

Giuliani stated.

Reports indicate Trump's accusations of Mueller having a conflict of interest centers

on two issues.

One is believed to be a fight Mueller had over membership dues when the then-FBI Director

resigned as a member of Trump National Golf Club in Northern Virginia.

The second is that Trump interviewed Mueller for the position of FBI Director after he

fired James Comey.

The President passed over Mueller in favor of current Director Christopher Wray.

Trump continues to correctly attack the legitimacy of the Mueller probe.

The entire investigation is based on a fake news hoax that the Trump campaign colluded

with Russia.

And it is being led by Mueller – who the President points out has multiple conflicts

of interest.

President Trump has achieved a lot in his first term.

He has lowered taxes and taken major steps towards securing our borders among many things.

But none of that comes close to one major victory Trump won on one of his biggest issues.

President Trump has had a fantastic first term compared to former President Obama.

Obama was able to do very little, with only one major victory coming to the forefront.

But that major issue was Obamacare, and while it made him look good to Obama loyalists,

the rest of America was furious, and it created a mass movement that continued into the midterm

elections, costing many Democrat seats in Congress.

In contrast, Trump has passed and implemented measures central to his platform that proved

to extremely popular with the general populace.

For that reason, Republicans are looking great going into the midterm elections, in what

will likely be a red wave.

And there is one issue that could be what propels them into that victory.

One thing that separated Donald Trump from the rest of the Republicans running for office

was his trade policy.

While the other Republicans running refused to publicly call out the unfair trade deals

the U.S. was engaging in around the world, Trump was excited to take them head-on.

He called out Europe and China specifically, making no apologies in doing so.

And in recent meetings with European leaders, he harshly made it clear that trade relations

between Europe and the United States need to be mutually beneficial.

But unlike past presidents, Trump wasn't just going to stop with talk; he followed

through on his promises.

President Trump's chief economic adviser Larry Kudlow stated that the new trade deals

negotiated between the United States and the European Union would start immediately.

This development, which is good news for any supporter of Trump's fair trade policies,

not only benefits American consumers, it proves that relations between the United States and

Europe are improving.

In recent weeks many people were critical of Trump being too tough with European leaders.

But those people, who are virtually always critical of Trump anyway, got proven wrong

yet again.

These developments on trade have only been good for Americans.

That can be easily proven by the 4.1 percent economic growth that has been seen in the

second quarter of this year.

Not only is 4.1 percent growth historic, it is beyond what almost anybody expected Trump

to be able to do.

The entire media blasted Trump, claiming that he wouldn't be able to break 3 percent economic

growth.

Of course, they were wrong, just as they were wrong about Trump's fair trade policy.

But one group of people who haven't been wrong are Trump's supporters, who continue

to stand with him through the constant media attacks waged against him.

Despite the media attacks, Trump sits at his highest approval rate since he took office

and the highest party approval rating of any Republican at the same point in his presidency

with the exception of George W. Bush, who had an approval boost in the wake of 9/11.

Trump responded by saying he was always open to negotiation and brought up one of Barack

Obama's most embarrassing moments as President – his failure to enforce his red line on

to consider a shut down if we don't get proper border security," Trump declared.

Enjeti followed up by asking if the $25 billion was a "red line."

President Trump responded "I have no red line, unlike President Obama.

I just want great border security.

Okay?"

Donald Trump won the GOP nomination and then the General Election on the strength of his

America First immigration platform.

But since assuming the presidency, establishment Republicans like Senate Majority Leader Mitch

Trump's administration has uncovered a frightening, and deadly, fact: the Department of Veterans

Affairs has been letting its hospitals hire doctors and nurses with revoked medical licenses!

Apparently this has been happening for the past 15 years.

Clearly, and for good reason, it violates federal laws.

In direct contradiction to a 1999 law that bars any VA from hiring a healthcare worker

whose licenses had been revoked in any state, in 2002 the VA distributed guidelines that

allowed its hospitals to hire doctors and nurses that had a license in one of the 50

states, even if they had, previously, been subject to a license revocation.

A report by USA Today starts out, "Veteran patients in imminent danger at VA hospital

in D.C., investigation finds."

That report goes on to explain that the conditions at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical

Center in Washington, D.C., are so dangerous that the agency's chief watchdog group actually

put out a report alerting patients about the issues at that organization.

Apparently multiple issues were found at that location, such as lack of critical supplies,

including bone material needed for knee replacement surgeries and tubes needed for kidney dialysis,

due to an ineffective inventory system.

Worse, perhaps, than the lack of an effective system was the fact that the inspector general

found that senior VA leaders knew about the problems for months but did nothing to rectify

it.

In addition to this finding, the investigators reviewed 25 sterile storage areas and found

that 18 of them were dirty.

These types of reports from the inspector general are, in fact, not commonly made, with

the last one having occurred in January 2015.

The Washington V.A.'s medical director, Brian Hawkins, has since been relieved of

his position and placed on administrative leave.

In addition to the immediate danger posed by these issues, there is the larger issue

of whether or not a government-run healthcare system, as promoted by many liberals, would

be able to provide quality healthcare to U.S. citizens.

If this V.A. debacle is any indication, it most certainly would not.

Democratic state Sen. Brad Hoylman has proposed removing the moniker "Donald J. Trump State

Park" from the 436-acre park in Westchester and Putnam counties, according to BuzzFeed

News.

Hoylman told BuzzFeed News that the "fresh outrage gives even greater impetus to strip

his name from a New York state park."

"There's no hiding from Trump's bigotry, but we New Yorkers can take a stand against

his racism and divisiveness by removing his name from public buildings and parks," Hoylman
