It's About Time!

President Trump's Extreme Executive Order Rocks Muslim Immigrants – Democrats, Obama

Furious

Soon after being sworn into office, President Donald Trump signed an executive order that

called for 'extreme vetting' to help get rid of potential terrorists that were hoping

to go to the United States.

That activity furnished us with the principal clear sign that Trump would not get anything

taking after reasonable and balanced coverage from the mainstream media.

Trump's sound judgment approach towards protecting our country was met with stun and

shock from the one-sided press.

Majority rule leaders took it from that point, and various them made finish jokers of themselves

while endeavoring to turn Trump's order as discriminatory in nature.

Who can overlook Sen. Chuck Schumer's (D-NY) crocodile tears while he was encompassed by

cameras and microphones?

What about House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi's (D-CA) entertaining interpretation of 'This

Land is Your Land?'

As shared by the Washington Times, we might need to keep the tissues convenient and get

ready for another agonizing chime in.

Homeland Security announced Monday that it will soon require more people to undergo in-person

interviews before they can gain a firmer legal footing in the U.S., carrying out yet another

part of President Trump's extreme vetting executive order.

While the so-called travel ban on six Muslim-majority countries has garnered most of the attention,

it was just a temporary measure designed to give the government the space to stiffen its

regular checks so it could be more adept at denying potential terrorists entry.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announced one of those new policies Monday,

saying it wants more people to have to face in-person interviews before they're giving

permanent status in the country.

It's an extraordinarily basic order that can conceivably have a genuine effect in the

fight to guard our country against potential terrorism.

Who wouldn't want that?

"You can only vet people if you have information, and one of the best ways to get information

is to talk to people and then compare that info to objective info you get from other

places," he said.

"if you don't have these interviews you're missing a fundamental step in the vetting

process."

Mr. O'Brien said the two categories USCIS has started with for mandatory interviews

both presented fraud and security risks.

In the case of relatives, he said refugees will try to sneak in extended relatives or

members of their clan who wouldn't normally qualify under the letter of the law.

Interviews will add another hurdle to the process — a move that's likely to meet

resistance from activists and immigration lawyers.

On the off chance that you have your sights set on a job, you don't simply waltz appropriate

in, choose a work area, and begin working.

Rather, you experience a screening procedure.

Is that discriminatory as well?

Whoops.

We may have given Democratic leaders another thing to add to their drivel stage.

Jobs for everybody!

No drug screening permitted!

Put a conclusion to intrusive inquiries questions!

As incredible as that may sound, it's in a similar neighborhood of the manner of thinking

behind restriction to outrageous checking.

We can't envision why Democrats experience serious difficulties offering their agenda.

CNN peed their pants as Sarah answers Acosta's question about Trump investigating CNN

Acosta asked Sarah:

"Does he value the First Amendment as much as he values the Second Amendment?"

The question was after Trump suggested that the Senate Intelligence committee investigate

CNN and other mainstream news outlets.

Sarah Huckabee-Sanders' response made the whole room SHIVER.

She pointed out a recent study that found only 5% of media coverage has been "positive"

about President Trump, despite the stock market being at al all-time high, ISIS being on the

run, and unemployment at the lowest level in 17 years.

But the fireworks started when Acosta kept interrupting her.

"Hold on..

I allowed you to finish," she said, before embarrassing him on live TV.

"You've only found 5 percent of your time to focus on some of those issues.

And frankly, those are the issues that most Americans care about, not a lot of the things

that you cover…I think we need to move towards a more fair, more accurate and, frankly, more

responsible news media for the American people," Huckabee-Sanders said.

Thornberry claims UK would STOP dealing with Trump over aggressive handling of North Korea - Duration: 2:11.

Thornberry claims UK would STOP dealing with Trump over aggressive handling of North Korea

Emily Thornberry has insisted that the UK can talk to the US without working with.

In a shocking attack on the elected leader of the US, the shadow foreign secretary said that Mr  was intemperate, inappropriate and dangerous.  This comes as the US leader tweeted last night that only one thing will work with North Korea in response to.

Tensions between the Trump administration and Kim Jong-Un has dramatically escalated in recent weeks. .

Speaking to Sky News, Mrs Thornberry said: I wouldn't ever change my tone with Trump. I would say quite clearly how we disagree on a large number of things.

Its appalling what he is doing with the Iran nuclear deal, with the Paris climate treaty.

Some people say he is deliberately acting crazy with North Korea, it makes no sense. Niall Paterson blasted this assessment of the issues for displaying a gulf between fantasy and reality. .

The Sky News anchor explained: You want to stand up to the US, but in reality, we need them, we need to maintain a relationship, especially after Brexit.

However, the Labour cabinet minister said: The US is not just the Trump; there are lots of good people there with good will.   We will work with them and make it clear that his views are not fit for the world stage.

Headline News!

President Trump Just Smashes Historic Reagan Record And Obliterated Obama's Legacy

At the point when President Trump made promises amid the campaign, boy did he mean them.

Liberals and regrettable, weak Republicans are stunned as they investigate the most recent

year.

They don't know what to do with a President who really implies what he says!

From attempting to wipe out ISIS to completion illicit migration, Trump is full-steam ahead

on following through on those promises he made amid his various rallies and occasions.

Presently it appears as though he's even beaten the old Gipper, with regards to one

noteworthy promise.

Via Washington Examiner:

President Trump is keeping his promise to cut regulations and is on a course to top

former President Reagan's record of slashing the mountain of red tape created by Jimmy

Carter, according to two independent reports.

The Competitive Enterprise Institute said that Trump has issued 58 percent fewer major

and costly regulations than former President Obama and slashed the Federal Register, the

government's rule book, by 32 percent.

And American Action Forum said that the Trump administration has saved $560 million by cutting

regulations and meeting its promise to eliminate two old rules for every new one.

"As the Trump Administration transitions into the new fiscal year and next phase of

Executive Order 13,771, it can reasonably claim net regulatory savings of roughly $560

million under the EO's first phase.

There have been some new regulatory costs, but activity on that front remains at a historically

low level," said American Action's Dan Goldbeck.

$560 million one enormous number.

This, for the most part, happens when a conservative goes into the White House.

He begins decreasing all the crazy principles and detours that Democrats have thrown that

that make American work and life unthinkable.

Regulation cost organizations millions in unnecessary entanglements.

It adds more noteworthy burdens to workers, bosses, even citizens.

All for the sake of cushioned the government's bank account.

Also, where does that cash go?

Into enlarged government projects, obviously!

Regulation is simply one more way Democrats need to charge Americans into insensibility.

It's not a colossal astonishment to find that Obama had a horrifying record with regards

to cutting red tape and unnecessary rules.

In spite of what the media needs to state, Trump is endeavoring to put the American individuals

first.

Consistently we are finding things like this, things that the media don't want you to

see.

Pence's Chief Of Staff Wants To "Purge" Members Of Congress Who Don't Support Trump - Duration: 3:55.

Not much has been said about Vice President Mike Pence's chief of staff, Nick Ayers, but

at a recent meeting with the Republican National Committee in Washington, DC, Ayers let his

feelings be known about the members of Congress who do not support Donald Trump.

Specifically, just the Republican members of Congress who aren't blindly following the

President and Vice President.

Ayers told the crowd at the RNC meeting that we need to purge these non-Trump supporting

Republicans from Congress and start backing pro-Trump people all over the country to replace

them in office.

Ayers believes that it is the job of every member of Congress who is a member of the

Republican party and some who are members of the Democratic party to blindly support

Donald Trump and Mike Pence regardless of how crazy their ideas are, regardless of stupid

they are, and regardless of how hateful these two men act in public and in private.

Ayers believes that everyone needs to blindly support the President and if you don't, you're

going to, as Ayers said, be purged.

Here's something that Ayers needs to understand.

There's not a single person in this country whose job it is to blindly support the President.

Not one.

Not even Donald Trump's wife.

It is the job of a member of Congress to act in the best interest of their constituents

and their country as a whole.

Donald Trump doesn't fall in to really either of those categories because he's the leader

of the country so you can't exactly legislate for the person above you so Ayers is just

dead wrong about everything.

Ayers's mentality represents a cancer that runs through the Republican party and it's

been running through the Republican party since at least the George W. Bush administration

and that is Republicans are a bunch of cheerleaders.

It doesn't matter who their President is, who their leader is, they are forced to blindly

support them no matter what they do.

No matter how much they disagree with it, it's their job to support them.

To their credit, the Democratic party does not do this.

I think the 2016 election was a very good example of that.

While it may not have ended very well for the party, it does show that at least we're

capable of independent thinking.

We're capable of making our own decision.

We're capable of calling out our leaders when they screw up or do something that is working

against the best interest of the rest of us.

Republicans don't have that.

Nick Ayers wants to go ahead and purge the very few members of the Republican party in

DC who've been willing to say no to Trump on a few occasions because even people like

John McCain have still voted in favor of every single Donald Trump appointee.

He voted against the healthcare bill twice.

Good for him.

He supported everything else this President pushed.

So have the majority of Republicans in Washington, DC.

There aren't really any mavericks.

There aren't any lone wolves out there trying to make things better for the Republican party.

There's a bunch of spineless yes men and yes women who blindly support the President and

Nick Ayers needs to understand that.

They might vote no on a couple issues here and there but overall, I think it's safe to

say that a majority of those people in DC have blindly supported Donald Trump and Mike

Pence since day one.

Trump Delays Rule That Would Have Prevented Price Gouging From Big Pharma - Duration: 3:14.

This past Sunday, a rule was set to go into effect that would have prevented pharmaceutical

companies in the United States from price gouging American consumers.

If they had overcharged too for medication, every single instance of that, every person

who went to the pharmacy and overpaid, they would have been fined, the pharmaceutical

company, $5,000 every single time it happened.

Why didn't this rule go into effect?

Well, Trump Administration's Health and Human Services Department decided, "No, we don't

want to do this.

Even though we understand that American citizens are paying higher prices for pharmaceuticals

than anywhere else in the industrialized world, we're going to continue to do nothing about

it."

That was basically the response given by the Trump administration.

Now let's think back a little bit.

In late December 2016, early January 2017, Donald Trump actually said he was very much

in favor of lowering prescription drug calls for American citizens and that actually got

some liberals a little interested in the Trump administration.

They said, "You know what?

Maybe let's wait and see.

Maybe he'll do something good.

Maybe he'll surprise us."

Well, there it was.

It was supposed to happen on Sunday.

On Thursday, before that Sunday, they decided "No, we're not going to do it."

How does that feel to all of the wait-and-see people out there in this country?

You feel good?

You feel happy?

You feel like he kept his promise there?

Or, do you feel like you got conned because everybody else saw it coming and for some

reason, you didn't?

I know there aren't really any wait-and-see people left out there, but I do know for a

fact that that was one of the particular issues that they were holding out hope for.

It didn't happen.

Every time Trump has been given the opportunity to do something decent for the American public,

he's failed; and he's done the opposite.

This one should have been simple, because this didn't even guarantee that they were

going to lower their prescription drug costs.

It was just going to guarantee that they weren't going to jack up the price for no reason.

That's all it did.

It was going to impose a fine on them if they did it.

Nobody was going to go to jail.

They were just going to have to pay back a little bit of money they've been stealing

from us for decades.

Trump can't even do that.

This guy is an absolute waste of space.

Unquestionably, one of the worst anti-American person presidents that we have ever had searching

this country.

That's the bottom line.

This guy sucks at his job.

He sucks at being a human being.

He sucks at having any kind of empathy towards anyone in this country.

It's time for him

to go.

Trump's Big Backfire: Trust In Media Rises As Trust In Trump Falls - Duration: 4:31.

Since, literally, the first day he was sworn in as president of the United States, Donald

Trump has made it a point to consistently attack the media as what he call fake news.

He has been telling us since day one that the press is the enemy of the American public,

that we shouldn't trust them, that they're fake, they're making things up, they're lying

to us, "Only trust Donald Trump," he tells us.

Well for a while, that big lie worked.

Trust in the press was falling at an alarming rate, while trust in the president was going

up.

But as it turns out, just like most things, there is the utility of usefulness.

And after so many times of hearing that lie, watching the footage for themselves, reading

Donald Trump's tweets for themselves, the public has finally flipped on the issue of

trust in the media versus trust in the president.

According to the latest round of polling, 48% of people in this country said they have

a great deal of trust in the United States media.

And while I know that's less than half, that's up 11 points from this past November.

So in less than a year, trust in Media has risen by 11 points.

Meanwhile, since January, trust in the president of the United States has fallen from 52% to

48% among American citizens who say they have a great deal of trust in Donald Trump.

So they're tied.

And why are they tied?

Again, Donald Trump can rail about the fake media all he wants, but we can watch what

he says on TV.

It's very hard to edit those clips to make him look bad, because he's doing a phenomenal

job of making himself look like an idiot all on his own.

We don't have to edit him.

We don't have to take him out of context.

All we have to do is show them.

Furthermore, you can't take a tweet out of context.

You can't change the wording there.

And those are all available for everybody in the public that Donald Trump hasn't blocked

on Twitter.

We've seen who you are.

And we know now that many times when you said the press was lying, that they weren't.

Why?

Because we literally went and looked at your own words about an issue.

Great example is after his trip from Puerto Rico.

He started lashing out at the fake media for twisting things about what happened.

No, nobody twisted things.

We all literally saw you throwing paper towels at people.

We heard you tell them that they're putting quite a ... throwing your budget out of whack.

We heard those words come out of your mouth.

That wasn't the media manipulating us.

That wasn't fake news story saying you said something that you didn't.

That was your dumb self saying stupid things or doing stupid things.

I think as we continue on in this Trump presidency, we're going to see those numbers continue

to slide in the direction that they're currently sliding.

Great deal of trust in the president is going to continue to fall, while the number of people

who have a great deal of trust in the corporate media is going to continue to rise.

Again though, we have to keep in mind this is the corporate media we're talking about.

They're doing a great job of covering Donald Trump.

I will give them full credit for that.

It's been phenomenal!

But when it comes to other issues, water safety, product liability, legal issues, corporations

out there putting out products that are killing us, the corporate media continues to fail

on a daily basis.

Why?

Because they are so concerned with taking down Donald Trump, and because those companies

that are out there killing us are the same ones who advertise on their networks.

So trust the media in some areas; don't trust them in others, I guess is the moral of the

story.

But for God's sake, don't ever trust a word that comes out of Donald Trump's mouth!

Trump Just Did Something No President Since Reagan Has Done, And The Media Didn't Even Notice - Duration: 14:54.

Trump Just Did Something No President Since Reagan Has Done, And The Media Didn't Even

Notice

The collective thoughts of the nation were understandably fixated on the horrifying events

in Las Vegas yesterday, but business still proceeded as normal on a number of fronts.

A new report has emerged that examines President Donald Trump's effectiveness on delivering

on one of the key tenets of his campaign.

In short, he's completely knocking it out of the park on that front.

The Daily Caller shares the details.

President Donald Trump has cut the federal regulatory burden to levels that took the

Reagan administration years to achieve, according to a new report.

A report by the libertarian Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) found the Trump administration

cut the number of pages in the Federal Register 32 percent in the first nine months of this

year.

It took former President Ronald Reagan several years to cut that many pages of regulations.

"President Trump compared to his predecessors is—so far—the least regulatory president

of all," CEI's director of technology studies Clyde Wayne Crews wrote in an updated

report on Trump's deregulatory effort.

U.S. President Donald Trump signs an executive order rolling back regulations from the 2010

Dodd-Frank law on Wall Street reform at the White House in Washington February 3, 2017.

REUTERS/Kevin Lamarque

On the campaign trail, Trump pointed out a countless number of times that the federal

regulatory environment is onerous and next to impossible to navigate.

He pledged to do something about it if he was elected.

As he's shown many times since taking office, his promises were not just hot air aimed at

securing as many votes as possible.

Crews reported the Trump administration has also cut the number of new regulations issued

this year 18 percent from the end of the Obama administration.

Included in that is a 58 percent decrease in "significant" rules that come with

a $100 million or greater price tag.

"As we continue to watch the president's progress on his economic priorities, it's

interesting to compare Trump with previous presidents, namely Ronald Reagan," Crews

wrote.

"Under Reagan, both regulations and Federal Register pages dropped more than one-third.

So far, Trump has reduced the flow of regulation even more."

It's an impressive accomplishment in a short period of time, but there's an even bigger

takeaway here.

The mainstream media and members of the Democratic Party seem to be incapable of wrapping their

heads around Trump's appeal.

While there's a number of different reasons for it that are as clear as daylight, one

of them is incredibly simple: when he makes promises, he delivers on them.

That shouldn't be a foreign concept, but the unfortunate reality is that it is.

Business as usual in the nation's capital has not been working for sometime now, and

the average American voter is sick and tired of it.

Trump has touched that nerve, but he's not using it to inflict more pain.

Instead, he's doing what he can to provide some much needed pain relief.

Trump Is About To Send In The Feds To Raid California After What They Just Declared!!! - Duration: 4:50.

Trump Is About To Send In The Feds To Raid California After What They Just Declared

California has just delivered a blow to president Trump's immigration agenda

Governor Jerry Brown signing a bill yesterday to make it a sanctuary state

to protect illegal immigrants from the feds and obstruct the president's

deportation agenda the decision follows Attorney General Jeff Sessions move to

slash federal grant funding to sanctuary jurisdictions okay congressman I feel

like you have a lot to say on this topic I'm coming to you first

I could rant for an hour about how fundamentally wrong this is from top to

bottom they literally the Democrats who owned

the Statehouse owned the governor's office they literally passed the law

that says we will not cooperate with law enforcement are you kidding me for all

the righteous indignation that Democrats put out there but you know we need to

get along we need to you need to work together we need to find bipartisan

solutions they're not going to work with law enforcement and I'm sorry but the

Obama administration is the one that released 86,000 people that were here

illegally got caught committing a crime then instead of deporting them released

them back out into the public 86,000 and they went on to commit thousands of

crimes and so when our law enforcement is trying to work just cooperate with

local law enforcement I can't believe that we had a state that passes a law

saying we will not cooperate with the federal government and the governor said

that he was trying to strike a balance between public safety and also these

people that are living in how about when there's a forest fire and then what

federal resources the feds say I'm gonna come to Kimberly with that the Trump

administration has threatened to cut off federal funding over these kinds of

legislative efforts at the state level can they legally do that and should they

yeah they should I think this is such nonsense I'm so glad I left California

nor what happened dr. Gregg and I laugh but total disaster that driver cross

country was amazing yeah this is basically an anti-trump piece of

legislation same people that were against the president when he got in so

they feel very you know that they are gonna pave the way lead the way they

said that we're gonna show the rest of the country that this is what you can do

to fight back etc I said really until there's sense

loss of lies because you're creating a gap in communication between the feds

and between local law enforcement so the people that are on the ground with the

most information about who the people are in their stays and who are

committing the crime now cannot talk to the feds

to let them know and communicate so then we're gonna see more crimes like the

loss of life of Kate Steinle so how is the governor gonna feel about

that when crimes like that that could be

prevented okay because of the revolving door because everyone takes this

hands-off approach for they care more about politics and public safety and

lives this is what the results gonna be so you know this isn't an example of

California winning it's horrific and this is one of the reasons the governor

also gave was that he didn't want these immigrants to be afraid to report crimes

to the police which you often hear from people on the sanctuary city type of

deals but Dana I'm coming to you because there's an estimated ten million

immigrants in California that's more than the entire state of Michigan more

people twenty five percent are thought to be undocumented and the governor was

very clear that these people are scared or he thinks they're in fear and they

were trying to address that what do you think how do you strike that right now

we think that law enforcement has come forward then there's a they're split you

know there are some ships right across the country who say this what California

did is absolutely unnecessary and others who say actually it is a problem because

we write them to talk with us so you know law enforcement can sort that out I

would I do want to talk about one thing in the opening you said that California

has put a wrench in president Trump's immigration agenda I actually think

they've just helped it tremendously Oh interest because now we're going to talk

about it a lot more and you might push this to the courts sooner and I think

the president Trump will win there they put fuel on the fire yeah that's right

Greg this is politics run by animosity it's pure symbolism I knew I know I know

I know the word virtue signaling is getting old

but this is one giant this is one giant virtue signal by a state how here's a

question if Democrat Democratic representatives are influenced by

illegal aliens politically demonstrating isn't that illegal foreign influence on

politics but that's just a question exactly I think it's time to invade

California and arrest Jerry Brown why how can he still be governor he was

governor when I was a kid governor now like that will be dated

Linda Ronstadt look and I think it was the days these are the governor's trying

to deal with millions and millions of people it's a really tough issue

obviously that's why they're elected exactly so not to break laws

President Trump STUNS Media With Military Announcement ENEMIES Are Panicking(VIDEO)!! - Duration: 13:19.

President Trump STUNS Media With Military Announcement ENEMIES Are Panicking

so long as you go president Trump was wrapping up a dinner

with some military leaders and their spouses at the White House and briefly

addressed reporters and hinted at some sort of oncoming storm watch this and

see for yourself here's know what this represents

the White House offered little help deciphering the president's warning

we're never going to say in advance what the president's going to do I think you

can take the president protecting the American people always extremely serious

he's been very clear that that's this number-one priority and if he feels that

action is necessary he'll take it Iran North Korea Isis or just the president

toying with reporters president Trump has about a week to decide his approach

to another deadline every 90 days the administration must tell Congress

whether Iran is complying with the major components of the nuclear agreement will

have a recommendation for the president we're going to give him a couple of

options of how to move forward to advance the important policy towards

Iran one of those options US ambassador to the United Nations nikki Haley

detailed last month she explained the administration can declare Iran is

failing to comply with the nuclear agreement though continue suspending

nuclear-related sanctions against Iran that would keep the u.s. in the Iran

nuclear deal and the agreement intact while Congress debates whether the

United States should withdraw the president's deadline on whether to take

that approach or another October 15th then there's North Korea analysts at

Middlebury Institute center for nonproliferation studies spoke to the

Wall Street Journal about how they examined North Korean propaganda and use

other publicly available tools to determine North Korea's abilities to

threaten the United States at the end of the day would you say with a high degree

of confidence that they have a compact nuclear weapon that can go on an ICBM

cannot understand why this is even a question we're talking about a missile

that can carry warhead successfully enter and hit the Continental Union yes

New York LA Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume joins me now on that

and a possible shake-up in leadership for Democrats in a moment but Brit

you're our senior political analyst so I need you to analyze yes thanks Martha

well the president is given to dropping these kind of hints and suggestions from

time to time and he seems to enjoy the the fuddled mud of those who were

listening at at what he says and he cuz he didn't clarify it sounds as if it's

possible he's talking about some kind of military action that would go against

North Korea remember just a couple days ago Martha Heather now are at the

spokeswoman at the State Department published a tweet that I saw that said

you know the North Korea will not be permitted this is not the exact words

but this is a gist of it yeah well not be printed to acquire a nuclear arsenal

either that leader happened diplomatic Lee or by force the choice is up to the

North Korea which I thought was pretty startling and you put that together with

this maybe he's hinting at something now remember Martha the the traditional view

long held by every military person I've ever talked to and anybody else who's

looked into the issue is that military action all that we would unquestionably

win any conflict against North Korea and possibly fairly quickly he's not a good

option because of the vulnerability to Seoul which is just a short distance

from the from the DMZ and the North Korea South Korea border Seoul has

focused upon it not nuclear weapons necessary but conventional weapons

artillery pieces of in such numbers that the destruction on Seoul and the loss of

human life there heavily populated area would be so great

that it is unacceptable and and means that the military action of the kind we

might contemplate is it really can't be on the table now it's possible that with

weaponry today that didn't exist before some kind of military way of dealing

with this has been devised and some plan is out there that the president was

hinting at but I don't know anything about that and and I haven't seen any

reporting to the effect that that exists and in this leaky City it's hard to

believe it's something that dramatic could be developed in total secrecy but

there you are yeah I had the same impression of course we don't know what

he meant because he didn't say but he's standing there with military leaders and

sort of dropping something like that North Korea is the first thing that that

comes to mind the only other subtext that I thought

about was you know some sort of shake up on his staff whether it be you know at

the Secretary of State position I mean there's been so much going around why

would you why would you link that to comment about doesn't he love to keep us

guessing he loves to keep us guessing exactly I want to play a little

soundbite over on the Democratic side from representative Sanchez talking

about the leadership and get your thoughts on it let's play that I don't

want to single her out I felt that Steny Hoyer Jim Clyburn all

three of them I I think that it's time to pass the torch to a new generation

they all all of the same generation and again their contributions to the

Congress into the caucus are substantial but I think there comes a time when you

need to pass that tour tonight and I think it's time a quick answer here if

you can well if you look at the electoral wreckage the Democrats have

experienced in recent elections in the House the Senate the governorships and

now the presidency it's completely understandable indeed it seems almost

inevitable that people would be looking around casting about for new leaders and

the senior leaders of the Democratic Party are pretty old Nancy Pelosi's

weapon or 70s and and and you know their president

Joe Biden who's I'm still thinking about president is old Hillary Clinton is old

so it's probably on their minds older I'm sure she's backed off by now right

thank you very much we will see what the storm is all about thanks for being here

quick break and we will be right back while standing with his military brass

the president's saying this is the calm before the storm and then press numerous

times what he really meant he said we'll see you heard him there and the press

secretary bombarded with questions with reporters trying to find out what the

storm is let's bring in our panel and start there charlie hurt opinion editor

for The Washington Times Charles Lane the opinion writer for The Washington

Post and Jason Reilly Wall Street Journal columnist and senior fellow at

the Manhattan Institute also author of the book false black power Jason let's

start with you thoughts on this and what it means in

the big picture we we don't know we know that President Trump enjoys poking fun

at the press so maybe he was joking in some way trolling though I think the

spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders made it seem that this was some reference to

something military and he has said in the past I like to keep my cards close

and is he talking about the desertification of the nuclear deal with

Iran is he talking about some action in North Korea there's so much going on in

so many parts of the world who knows we've talked about it many times

Chuck about how sometimes he does talk like this in speeches and it's almost

like coming up next week on The Apprentice you know X Y Z I mean it does

sound like that in a tease format but you are talking about potential military

action here and it's interesting to hear yes interesting it is exactly right the

president loves to stir the pot he loves and he says it over and over again in

different contexts wait and see we'll deal with that in a few days I'll have

something for you soon he likes to eat almost naturally likes to create

suspense and drama around himself and whatever he's doing one might argue

however it's a little irresponsible to do that in the context of the use of

force by the United it's of America especially when there

are these crises out there that everybody's worried about like North

Korea and at least potentially the Iran situation of the two I guess people were

more concerned he had something up his sleeve about North Korea although even

there the crisis seemed to have been abating recently so again I I don't put

a whole lot of stock in it I think it's just the kind of thing he wings all the

time but then it's true what came from the podium today from from Sanders was

seemingly confirmation that something was up my bottom line president

shouldn't talk this way because he shouldn't gratuitous ly generate this

kind of uncertainty yet there are people who look at how he handles foreign

policy and say because he is so unpredictable because he has said what

he has said it has changed the dynamic in a number of different places and I

think that's the key to it is the unpredictability you know it some people

obviously think that it's irresponsible it's certainly unorthodox but it's been

very effective in terms of you know causing adversaries around the world to

be very worried about this guy they're not sure what to take seriously what not

takes years there are people in this country who are not sure what to take

seriously and what not to take seriously for from the president and I think that

when you're dealing with an intractable insane situation like we are in North

Korea that can be a very I think if that can be a very effective tactic

all right meantime the other news today is the change in the the contraceptive

exemption when it comes to Obamacare tickle is the President believes that

the freedom to practice one's faith is a fundamental right in this country and I

think all of us do and that's all that today was about our federal government

should always protect that right and as long as Donald Trump as president he

will we are ending the attacks on your religious liberty and we are proudly

reaffirming America's leadership role as a nation that protects religious freedom

for everyone no he forecast this move earlier back in

May Jason but the HHS putting out the statement no Americans should be forced

to violate his or her own conscience in order to abide by the laws and

regulations governing our health care system today's actions affirm the Trump

administration's commitment to upholding the freedoms afforded all Americans

under our Constitution thoughts on this change well I love the Planned

Parenthood left is trying to make this into an economic issue I'm not sure that

argument really holds water even without insurance contraception is not that

expensive and there are a lot of people think it should be available

over-the-counter frankly these days I think Trump is right to do this on

religious freedom grounds it was a campaign promise too many in evangelical

groups that supported him other voters of faith that supported him and I think

it's the right thing to do because for Obama the for the Obama administration

this wasn't just about getting

contraception to women it was also about forcing employers of faith organizations

of faith to bend to his will he was not going to make an exemption for them

that's government bullying and I think Trump is right to put an end to it by

the way the reason he can do this is because it wasn't in the Obamacare law

itself it was an HHS regulation that can be rolled back yes he's fulfilling a

campaign promise to the one group in the Republican base religious conservatives

who have been the most unequivocally supportive of Donald Trump through thick

and thin so there's no surprise there but I think it's gonna be a dilemma down

the road politically because this contraceptive mandate is broadly popular

with the rest of the electorate I was looking at some poll data on it today

Marist has a pull out today that says 67% of all Republicans actually approved

of this contraceptive mandate before it's a pet cause not even of the

Republicans but a slice of the Republicans and this is the problem with

Obamacare is that now every little health issue segmented down to things

that are important to specific groups of people are now public matter of

political debate and for those of us who don't like Obamacare and don't want

Obamacare and you feel like Obamacare is going

fail ultimately this is III we don't want anything to do with we don't think

I remember anything to do with this stuff and but you now have the situation

where you have people who are convinced that contraception for example is a

guaranteed right from the government thank you

god bless you and God bless america

you
