Trump Still Hasn't Released His Tax Returns, What's He Hiding? - Duration: 3:45.

It's been nearly a year since the disappointing election of November, 2016, where Donald Trump

secured enough electoral votes to be elected President of the United States.

In the 12 months that have essentially passed since Donald Trump won that electoral vote,

he still hasn't released his tax returns to the United States public.

At every opportunity, Republicans in Washington, D.C. in the House and Senate have voted to

shield his tax returns from being released to the public.

Trump has said the reason he didn't release them is because he was under audit and he's

not allowed to.

That's not true.

You can absolutely release your tax returns if you're being investigated by the IRS, if

there's an auditor, if there's anything going on.

You can always release them.

The IRS has made it perfectly clear that they're not the ones holding up Donald Trump from

releasing his tax returns.

Why, after 12 months past the election, are we still talking about this?

Because it's still an issue.

Transparency is very important in the federal government and if we don't have that, it just

leads to wild speculation.

For example, we do know somebody who has gotten his hands on at least part of Donald Trump's

tax returns that the rest of the United States public hasn't had access to, and that person

is Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller.

Mueller recently met with officials within the IRS to go ahead and get his hands on some

of those Donald Trump financial records that the rest of us are just dying to see, because

he believes that there is some evidence of criminal wrongdoing within those financial

statements.

To be perfectly honest with you, there is not a single part of me that doesn't believe

that the reason we haven't seen those tax returns is because they hold the key to bringing

down the Trump Administration.

I firmly believe if we saw those financial statements, if we saw those tax returns, there

would be ample evidence within there to bring down the Trump Administration and put Donald

Trump in prison.

Why do I believe that?

First of all, because he's adamant about hiding them.

Talk to any police officer and they're probably going to tell you the same time.

It's a mantra that most of them go by, only the guilty hide.

That is exactly what Donald Trump is doing right now.

He is hiding those tax returns because there is obviously something in there he does not

want us to see.

Maybe it's criminal activity, maybe it's something as simple as the fact that he's not worth

as much money as he told us he is and he's trying to protect his fragile male ego at

that point.

Whatever it is, he doesn't want us to know.

While it would be refreshing for him to release these tax returns, or for Republicans in D.C.

to stop shielding him from the Democrats who are trying to force the release of these tax

returns, what is comforting, at least to an extent, is knowing that the people investigating

the Trump Administration do have access to these tax returns.

I hope that they find whatever it is they're looking for in there so that we can finally

put an end to the Donald Trump nightmare here in the United States.

DONALD Trump is being forced to seek out help from Russia to take down North Korea amid

fears of World War 3.

Vladimir Putin's regime is becoming the kingmaker as the knife-edge crisis worsens

between Washington and Pyongyang.

Russia is said to be increasingly becoming Kim Jong-un's preferred ally as China cracks

down on North Korea.

US diplomats are reportedly being forced to seek out Putin – believing he can be more

valuable than anyone in tackling Kim.

War fears have reached fever pitch in region as US General James Mattis warned of a "massive

military response" as he visited the border of North Korea.

Kim has responded by promising to detonate a H-bomb over the Pacific, a move that could

spark nuclear war.

Russia has been calling for peace in the region, but has been accused of providing backdoor

support for the regime.

Frosty relations also rage between the Kremlin and the White House as Putin is accused of

fiddling with the US election.

Washington's top envoy to North Korea Joseph Yun reportedly said he wants to increase ties

with Moscow to tackle Kim.

Trump accused Putin of hurting US efforts to tackle North Korea – while at the same

time praising China.

The US president said: "China is helping us and maybe Russia's going through the other

way and hurting what we're getting.

"I think we could have a good relationship.

I think that the North Korean situation would be easier settled."

Russia shares a border with North Korea on its eastern frontier, and the two sides are

traditionally strong allies.

Putin himself met with Kim's father Kim Jong-il, and Russia supported the state during

the Korean War.

Previously, Russia demanded the US stand down from North Korea as the Kremlin warned US

escalation could spark war.

Moscow is reported to have hosted "back channel" talks between the US and North

Korea at a disarmament conference.

Russia remains at odds with the US over hacking accusations as well as the war in Syria, the

annexation of Crimea, and military build-ups in Baltic.

I was draft age during the Vietnam War, and as far as I was concerned, LBJ was the enemy.

I hated him, because I didn't agree with the war, and he could send me to my death.

It wasn't until I got older, and I matured, and I spent a ton of time in politics that

I really started to appreciate and understand what he was able to accomplish.

Had it not been for the Vietnam War, he would've been one of the, gone down as one of the great

presidents of all time.

Now, you can't take the Vietnam War away. It was there.

So it's like the tale of two presidencies.

I don't think he can learn anything, because he doesn't seem to want to learn.

To have the House and the Senate and the courts and the presidency, and not be able to move

your agenda forward is, it's like criminal.

Lyndon Johnson had to buck his own party to get the civil rights bill moved into law.

He did it.

He did what he needed to do to get things done, because more important than his presidency,

more important than his party, was the country, and doing something for the country.

I think many people in the country were lulled into a sense of complacency, that we felt

we were on a glide path.

I mean, you looked at Brown v. the Board of Education in '54, the Civil Rights Act in

'64, the Voting Rights Act in '65, Loving v. Virginia in '67.

And then we have the president of the United States, an African American, Barack Obama.

And so, there's a sense that we were on this kind of glide path.

And then along comes a guy who starts stoking this lie, this propaganda about delegitimizing

the president of the United States, saying he's not a real president because he wasn't

born here.

And all of a sudden, this undercurrent of racism starts bubbling up to the surface.

You know, the positive spin on Donald Trump is that he's unearthed all of this hatred

and bigotry, and it says to us we need to do a lot more work.

And I think we are moving towards that.

We are seeing the browning of America, and that's a good thing.

That's a good thing, because that means we'll become one.

But a lot of people are frightened of that, and they don't like that.

And that's one of the ways you can move an electorate.

You make them fearful of the other, and you exploit it.

And that's what happened in this last election.

Top Trump general swoops on North Korea border to STOP Kim Jong-un firing nukes

Former US general James Mattis, secretary of defence, visited the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) today to demand Kim stands down from the brink of nuclear war.

In a rare and provocative move, Mattis, a retired US Marine Corps general, condemned the "threats posed" by Kim and his "oppressive regime".

North Korean provocations continue to threaten regional and world peace and despite unanimous condemnation by the United Nations Security Council they still proceed, Mattis said.

He accused the tyrant of depriving his citizens of "freedom", "welfare" and " human dignity" in the pursuit of nuclear weapons that could cause "catastrophe".

Standing beside his counterpart, South Korean defence minister Song Young-moo, he vowed to preside over the "denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula".

"We stand shoulder to shoulder with you and the Korean people in confronting the threats posed by the Kim Jong-un regime," he said as Young-moo watched on.

He noted the "stark difference" between North and South Korea, whose vibrant democracy and free society has allowed the country to thrive.

His highly unusual speech came after Pyongyang warned the world its threats to test a hydrogen bomb above ground should be taken "literally".

Speaking after Mattis, Young-moo described North Korea's missiles and nuclear bombs as "weapons that can't be used". If it does, it will face retaliation by the strong combined force of South Korea and the US, he said.

But striking a softer tone, Mattis said the Trump administration does not want conflict, saying: "Our goal is not war." Instead, Mattis said the aim is to carry out the "verifiable and irreversible" removal of nuclear weapons from the Korean peninsula.

North Korea has repeatedly frustrated the Trump presidency by testing nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles in defiance of international condemnation. Trump is due to make a highly anticipated visit to South Korea next month in a symbolic show of support.

The US President was also scheduled to tour the DMZ, but is now expected to abandon those plans, a White House official said this week.

Trump has previously threatened to "totally destroy" North Korea, whose sixth and largest nuclear test provoked fury across the globe.

But when asked about the trip at a press conference on Wednesday, Trump was coy, replying: "I'd rather not say, but you'll be surprised.".

Speaking to US and South Korea troops today, Mattis said the US is "doing everything" to find a diplomatic solution to the North Korea crisis.

However, he said "our diplomats have to be backed up by strong soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines". Meanwhile, the US has dispatched three nuclear-powered aircraft carriers to the region ahead of Trump's visit on November 7.

Warships USS Nimitz, USS Theodore Roosevelt and USS Ronald will take part in rare war drills planned to coincide with Trump's visit next month.

Researchers, journalists and conspiracy theorists were left fuming yesterday as the US withheld 300 files from the highly classified documents about the killing of John F. Kennedy.

The US President had assured all of nearly 3,000 documents would be opened to the public after 54-years. But around 10% of the files were held back as Trump caved to pressure from the the CIA and FBI.

The spy agencies have to be allowed to redact the files to protect spies and codenames – and requested more time to make the changes.

Trump has now reassured JFK conspiracists that "everything" will be opened – assuring they are being released "very carefully". However, he is reportedly unhappy with the level redactions according to a White House source.

"It really stinks to high heaven." Seb Gorka The US President has taken an interest in the files being released, and had said he would not block them being opened.

Conspiracy theorists believe the withheld documents may hold the juiciest information about the killing of JFK. Today, Trump tweeted: "JFK Files are being carefully released. In the end there will be great transparency.

"It is my hope to get just about everything to public. A source told CNN the US President was believes the agencies are "not meeting the spirit of the law and is fuming with the level of redactions.

Already revelations about the JFK killing have emerged as people around the world trawl through the once-classified documents. KGB sources claimed Vice President Lyndon Johnson was responsible for the killing, and the Russians suspected the shooting an attempt a coup.

Meanwhile, a British reporter was tipped off about big news"just 29 minutes before the assassination on November 22, 1963.

Former top Trump aide Seb Gorka said: There's only two reasons you would do that redaction right now, the reasons are you protect active operations or you protect sources and methods – neither of those can be true 50 years later – so what is it? "Something embarrassing.

Officially, JFK was shot while riding in his open-topped motorcade in Dallas, Texas, by lone gunman Lee Harvey Oswald. Oswald is believed by some conspiracy theorists to be just a fall-guy for a wider plot to kill off the US President.

The gunman was killed himself by Jack Ruby while leaving a police station following his arrest in Dallas.

Other theories suggest there was a second shooter – with even a surgeon who treated JFK saying he believed there was another gunman. It likely even after the full release of the files, conspiracy theories will persist.

Trump's Opioid Announcement Will Do Literally Nothing To Solve The Crisis - Duration: 4:26.

On Thursday, after months of saying he was going to do this, this is actually something

he was supposed to do about six months ago, Donald Trump finally decided to declare a

national health emergency over the opioid crisis here in the United States.

That's great that he decided to finally do that.

After all, 175 people are dying every single day in the United States as a result of overdoses

on prescription opioids.

However, his declaration of a national emergency literally does nothing to solve the problem.

Currently, the fund that is set up to help deal with this crisis, the amount of money

in that fund stands at $57,000, which is about $7,000 short of being able to give everyone

in this country, their families, who have died of opioid overdose, $1,000 each.

We're not even to the point of funding where we could pay the victim's family $1,000 because

there's no money in the fund.

Trump's declaration of a national health emergency does nothing to increase that funding.

States can ask for more money, but they could literally do that anyway.

Donald Trump's announcement on Thursday was nothing but fluff, nothing but "Look at me,

look how great I am, look how serious I'm taking this issue that I told you I was going

to act on six months ago."

It was a pathetic attempt by a failing president to act for a moment like he was some kind

of decent leader here in the United States.

Meanwhile, an opioid executive actually got hauled off to jail yesterday for the role

that he played in pushing doctors to prescribe more opioids.

That's how we solve this problem.

It's not just the manufacturers, it's the distributors, the people out there pushing

these pills on American citizens.

Declaring a national health emergency is great.

It raises awareness about it, but if you're not going to fund the program, if you're not

going to hold those responsible liable, then don't bother.

There are people, there are attorneys, there are lawyers, judges, law enforcement officers

and even doctors coming forward who are trying to hold the actual responsible parties responsible

for it.

That's why yesterday, in the midst of this grand announcement, nobody talked about the

fact that one of the distributing company owners went to jail, has been arrested, and

is now going to face a criminal trial for his role in pushing this.

This is as big, if not potentially bigger, than what happened with the tobacco lawsuits

in the 1990s.

Donald Trump is not taking this seriously enough.

The American public doesn't seem to understand how serious this crisis truly is.

Go look at some of the hardest-hit areas with this, Kentucky, West Virginia, Ohio, Illinois.

They understand what's going on and they know that President Trump's declaration is not

going to do anything to solve the problem.

We need real leaders with real ideas taking real action on this issue.

Right now, the only people who have that kind of persona, that kind of power, are the trial

lawyers that are trying to recover for the victims here and stop making states and cities

pay for the fact that drug company CEO's and distributor CEO's are pushing these pills,

killings hundreds of people a day, and sticking the cities and states with the cost of having

to care for those victims.

It's the lawyers out there that are working on that, not the Trump Administration, not

the Republicans in Congress and not Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price.

We have some real heroes out there in this story, but it's certainly not anyone within

the Trump Administration.

Russian "Troll Farm" Worker Claims Russia Created Fake Sex Tape w/ Clinton Lookalike To Boost Trump - Duration: 4:10.

Recently The Daily Beast interviewed Alan Baskaev who claims to have been a worker at

a Russian government funded or sponsored troll farm and part of their job was to go out prior

to the 2016 election, post pro Trump, anti Democrat things all over the internet, but

according to the interview with Baskaev, one of the things that his group put together

was a fake sex tape showing a Hillary Clinton look alike engaging in sexual activities with

a black man.

According to Baskaev, the goal was to release this fake sex tape prior to the election in

order to damage Hillary Clinton's chances of winning.

Baskaev, himself, told The Daily Beast that he thought they had a sensation on their hands

when they created, allegedly, this sex tape.

Now, obviously the sex tape never got released to the public, thank God.

To be honest, we don't even know for sure if they actually created it.

However, the fact that this guy Alan Baskaev came out and said that they did at least shows

at some point they had thought about it, whether or not they actually executed it and obviously,

they did not release it to the public, but that just shows you the depths to which these

groups, these little troll farms were willing to sink in order to sway the United States

election.

Again, Baskaev claims that the troll farm, troll factory, whatever you want to call it,

that he worked for was backed by the Kremlin.

Again, we don't know for certain if any of the claims that this man has made are accurate,

but considering everything that we have seen up to this point, as far as evidence of online

ad buys, online trolling, it seems highly probable that Baskaev is in fact telling the

truth here.

I for one, am very happy that this sex tape did not get released.

Not because I think it would hurt Hillary Clinton, I think it would be pretty damn obvious

that it wasn't her having sex with a black man on video, but for the most part because

this country has already stooped to such new grotesque levels in our electoral politics,

that I honestly don't even know that I could handle anything like that happening right

now or even a year ago, but the one thing that is clear is we do have to put a stop.

We've got to find a way to shut down these troll factories, wherever they're located

in the world, even if they're here in the United States.

We've got to get rid of the actual fact news.

The Breitbarts, the Alex Jones, the Daily Callers, not the CNNs or the New York Times.

Those are legitimate news outlets.

Yeah, they push for war, but occasionally they also report something that happens to

be accurate, unlike Breitbarts and Daily Callers and Alex Jones and Fox News organizations.

We have a very real problem in this country and it comes both from the inside and from

the outside from these troll farms and if they're capable of putting something like

this together, like faking a sex tape between an elected official or a wannabe elected official

and someone else, that is a very real concern that we need to take seriously because something

like that could absolutely, not only destroy a person's political career, but destroy their

personal life as well.

We've got to get to the bottom of this and we've got to put a stop to it in order to

save our democracy.
