Air Force To Recall Up To 1,000 Retired Military Pilots After Trump Unexpectedly Revises Sept 11 Exe - Duration: 4:53.

Air Force To Recall Up To 1,000 Retired Military Pilots After Trump Unexpectedly Revises Sept

11 Executive Order

by Tyler Durden

In an unexpected development, President Donald Trump has signed an executive order allowing

the Air Force to recall up to 1,000 retired pilots to address what the Pentagon has decribed

as "an acute shortage of pilots," Fox News reported.

The order, which Trump signed Friday, amends an emergency declaration signed by George

W. Bush in the days after the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks.

The Air Force is only allowed to recall up to 25 pilots under current law.

The order signed by Trump temporarily removes that cap for all branches of the military.

A Pentagon spokesman, Navy Cmdr.

Gary Ross, said in a statement that the Air Force is currently "short approximately 1,500

pilots of its requirements."

That number includes approximately 1,200 fighter pilots.

"We anticipate that the Secretary of Defense will delegate the authority to the Secretary

of the Air Force to recall up to 1,000 retired pilots for up to 3 years," Ross said.

"The pilot supply shortage is a national level challenge that could have adverse effects

on all aspects of both the government and commercial aviation sectors for years to come."

Currently, the Air Force has no plans to take advantage of the recall.

The Air Force does not currently intend to recall retired pilots to address the pilot

shortage.

We appreciate the authorities and flexibility delegated to us, Ann Stefanek, an Air Force

spokeswoman, told Fox News.

Now, the question is, will the order inspire some retired pilots to come out of retirement

voluntarily, like this guy.

Read the full text of the order below:

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United

States of America, including the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.),

and in furtherance of the objectives of Proclamation 7463 of September 14, 2001 (Declaration of

National Emergency by Reason of Certain Terrorist Attacks), which declared a national emergency

by reason of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, in New York and Pennsylvania and

against the Pentagon, and the continuing and immediate threat of further attacks on the

United States, and in order to provide the Secretary of Defense additional authority

to manage personnel requirements in a manner consistent with the authorization provided

in Executive Order 13223 of September 14, 2001 (Ordering the Ready Reserve of the Armed

Forces to Active Duty and Delegating Certain Authorities to the Secretary of Defense and

the Secretary of Transportation), it is hereby ordered as follows:

Section 1.

Amendment to Executive Order 13223.

Section 1 of Executive Order 13223 is amended by adding at the end: "The authorities available

for use during a national emergency under sections 688 and 690 of title 10, United States

Code, are also invoked and made available, according to their terms, to the Secretary

concerned, subject in the case of the Secretaries of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, to the direction

of the Secretary of Defense."

Sec. 2.

General Provisions.

(a) Nothing in this order shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect:

the authority granted by law to an executive department or agency, or the head thereof;

or

(ii) the functions of the Director of the Office of Management and Budget relating to

budgetary, administrative, or legislative proposals.

(b) This order shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability

of appropriations.

(c) This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive

or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its

departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

Trump to urge Xi to make good on commitments to rein in North Korea: White House - Duration: 0:52.

And the U.S. plans to keep the heat on North Korea in the coming weeks...

We are learning that President Trump will urge his Chinese counterpart to make good

on his commitments to rein in North Korea,... when he visits Beijing early next month.

A senior White House official says Trump will call on President Xi Jinping to fully implement

UN Security Council resolutions against the regime and even take further steps to pressure

Pyongyang.

The official adds that the U.S. wants China to do more to comply with two of the latest

UN Security Council resolutions that were unanimously approved-- including by China

itself.

President Trump has frequently asked China to contain North Korean leader Kim Jong-un

-- a strategy that has failed to stop the regime conducting a nuclear test and firing

ballistic missiles over Japan last month.

After Relentlessly Bashing Trump All Summer, Hollywood Gets Just Deserts From Middle America - Duration: 24:35.

After Relentlessly Bashing Trump All Summer, Hollywood Gets Just Deserts From Middle America

Hollywood just got served by Middle America.

Just got verbally abused by the silent majority.

Just got a wakeup call much bigger and more severe than what the NFL got.

For if American's can agree on one thing is we all work too much.

We all work too hard for too little money.

And when we want to unwind and spend money on entertainment that last thing we want to

hear is real world problems like politics.

But there goes Hollywood ignoring the people, preaching to the liberal choir, making themselves

feel important, and literally killing the golden goose.

According to Market Watch, after relentlessly bashing Trump all summer the box office numbers

for the critical summer season and in.

And they are bad.

Beyond bad actually, they are terrifying.

Hollywood is getting crushed, and like Kathy Griffin, is having to go overseas to recoup

their investments and most aren't even doing that.

Summer duds like "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales," "Baywatch"

and "Snatched" got crushed domestically and barely got by overseas.

Tom Cruise, one if the most bankable stars working, had a new movie out called "American

Made," and it failed miserably.

Blade Runner 2049" was supposed to be a hit.

It missed, costing the studio untold millions.

CNN Money has an even more shocking report.

The AMC (AMC) theater chain saw its stock sink more than 25% in August citing slow ticket

sales.

Regal Entertainment (RGC) reported to Wall Street that it would miss earnings and saw

a huge drop in share price.

Imax (IMAX) announced it was cutting almost 15% of its employees.

Ouch.

Share this if you agree that Hollywood better clean up its act before it gets

in

too deep.

Trump Discovers Easy Way To Stop Rats Fleeing Failed Caliphate From Returning To Europe To Commit A - Duration: 24:35.

Trump Discovers Easy Way To Stop Rats Fleeing Failed Caliphate From Returning To Europe

To Commit Acts Of Terror

ISIS is on the run.

The rats are literally abandoning ship.

Raqqa just fell.

They have been routed in Iraq.

They have been reduced to a bunch of rats floating on a piece of driftwood.

With nowhere to go and no safe harbor on the horizon.

This is what we wanted – a total rout and we got it, thanks to Trump and his new plan

to take the fight to them.

Bit with each victory comes problems.

And a big one is what to do with all the foreign fighters who came from Europe to join ISIS.

These are the guys committing most of the terror attacks in Europe and the reason Trump

has no choice to get tough.

These desperate fighters are doing everything they can to sneak back into Europe where they

can easily blend in with their French passports.

And once there, with a valid European passport, they can easily enter the US.

Thankfully General Mattis has discovered the easy way to stop this from happening.

According to the Daily Mail, the top envoy for the American coalition fighting ISIS,

Brett McGurk, just announced Trump's and Mattis' plan.

Kill them.

Right there in the desert.

Stop the virus from spreading.

No exceptions.

He said it is vital to kill all foreign terrorists to stop them from returning home and mounting

attacks back in Europe.

"Our mission is to make sure any foreign fighter who is here, who joined ISIS from

a foreign country and came into Syria, they will die here in Syria," McGurk said.

"So if they're in Raqqa, they're going to die in Raqqa."

France Defense Minister Florence Parly was not afraid of the liberal backlash, and for

every good Trump idea there is bound to be a liberal backlash, to agree with Trump in

public saying,

"If the jihadis perish in this fight, I would say that's for the best."

It should be noted that no European government has gone on record to confirm whether they

will actually let their citizens who went to fight with ISIS return.

It is a tough issue because they are citizens.

So while they won't say it publicly, except for the French, all Europe is secretly hoping

Trump can clean up this mess before it gets back to them.

And he will.

P.S.

Liberals, this is why we need the travel ban.

Share if you agree with Trump's plan and are a little shocked that Trump could crush

ISIS in 8 months and Obama couldn't do it

in years.

BOYCOTT NFL's Thursday Night Attendance Spells Doom For Protesting Players Paychecks

(Pics)

Remember "Field of Dreams?"

The Kevin Costner surprise hit movie about baseball, sports, life, patriotism family,

etc.?

It did well and didn't have one player disrespecting America.

As IJR is reporting last night's NFL game turned into the "Field of Nightmares"

for the NFL so low was the attendance.

Look, the NFL and the players and their agents and their sponsors can

say what they want.

But pictures do not lie and the house was empty, the dream is dead, and the protesting

players will soon get hit in the paycheck.

Owners rely in TV money which is down but that is shared between teams.

The owners get huge revenue that they do not have to share from their home games.

Seat licenses (total scam), tickets, sky boxes, beer, food parking.

They rake it in hand over fist but only if people show up.

And as we have seen throughout the season people are not.

Last night was probably the worst example and it means the trend is going down and

the NFL should start panicking.

If not now when?

When it is too late to arrest the fall?

Last night's game was huge too.

A big rivalry between the Kansas City Chiefs who are atop the AFC West standings and the

Oakland Raiders who need to gain ground and quick.

It was an excellent game with playoff implications that came down to the last play.

Translation: the house should have been packed and the stadium rocking.

Here is the thing the players forget.

Because the NFL is so violent no contract is guaranteed.

Not even the big stars (they get signing bonuses) have long-tern guaranteed money.

So after the year is over the the revenue is down the owners can simply cut players

and renegotiate contracts.

Or threaten to do so.

Look money talks and if the revenue is down, unlike other sports leagues, the owners are

not burdened with onerous contracts.

In other words stand

and respect the flag or

it

is

about

to cost you.

Comedian Anish Shah Meets President Donald Trump - Duration: 3:23.

It has been a crazy year for politics, in this country all over the world.

In America, Donald Trump is President. That's crazy. I think it

started last summer. It may have started in Britain last summer when they Brexited.

Britain just left the European Union.

They just left! Honestly, as an Indian and as an American, I was stunned to see

Britain just voluntarily leave a place. Who knew that could happen?

It's like Britain said, "I bet we can do the craziest thing a developed

country has ever done," and that America was like, "Challenge accepted, nerds!"

We elected Donald Trump. Donald Trump is the President of the United States.

Now I'll tell you a little side story. Last year during the election.

I met Donald Trump. I was doing a charity gala and he was there in the audience

and so after I got off stage someone took me over and introduced me

to him. And I was polite so I said you know, "It's nice to meet you Mr. Trump."

and I put my hand out. Now I don't know if you know this Donald Trump

is a little bit of a germaphobe. So I put my hand out and he said, "It's nice to

meet you." Now I was nervous so I got confused in

that moment and I just...I shook his finger guys.

I shook his tiny, tiny figure. It was so tiny. I can't even tell you. True story.

So tiny. But Donald Trump is the President now. It's crazy. But I will tell you

what's even crazier is that America has never had a female President. Never.

And that's amazing to me because ladies you know how to get shit done. I learned this

at a very young age. Like I have a sister. She's eight years younger than me.

Her name is Sarina and even though she's eight years younger, from the moment that

she was born she's been cooler calmer and more

collected than me. For example when I was 14 I was sobbing. I was crying in the

living room because my parents were screaming at me for getting the worst

report card I had ever gotten in my life. They're screaming at me. They're saying

things like, "How dare you walk in this house with five A's and one B. You get the

hell out right now!" Alright. They're screaming at me. I'm crying. And my

six-year-old sister walks up, sees the scene and just takes control. She walks up

and she goes, "Shhh," and then she just glares at my parents and she walks over

to me and she says, "Anish bhai, I don't want you to cry. I brought you a

candy." And she put a little candy bar in my hand and I said, "Thank you, Sarina," and

I put it in my pocket and she said, "No you eat that candy bar now. It'll make

you feel better," and so I did. I put it in my mouth and she sat down and she held

my hand while I chewed it. And then I finally swallowed and this little

six-year-old gets up and she walks up to my parents and she says, "Listen, I don't

know what's going on here, but if he gets to eat a candy, so do I."

And she just shoved a Snickers in her mouth.

Took the wrapper, just mic dropped it, walked out of the living room. It was a amazing. So good.
