Trump news on Youtube Nov 10 2018

New reports coming from the Wall Street Journal on Wednesday indicate that President Trump

will likely sign a new executive order during the week, which will be designed to overhaul

the existing US policy on asylum seekers.

The order is expected to be signed by Friday, according to sources within the White House,

and comes in response to the ongoing saga surrounding the caravans of Central American

migrants heading towards the US border through Mexico.

Last week, the president announced that he was "finalizing a plan" to combat the

continued attempts at illegal immigrants entering the country under the guise of being "asylum

seekers," and would require all seeking asylum to report to ports of entry.

"Under this plan, the illegal aliens will no longer get a free pass into the country

by lodging meritless claims in seeking asylum," Trump said during a speech last week, calling

out countries who failed to prevent the migrants during their march.

With the president departing for Paris, France, on Friday, White House officials reported

the executive order would likely be signed that morning.

Late October, appearing on the Laura Ingraham show, President Trump warned Asylum seekers

that make it to the U.S. border that he won't be building fancy 5 star accommodations for

them.

Instead, they will be staying in a "tent city" while their trials take place.

In addition, he expects very few would actually be granted asylum and clarified "if they

don't get asylum they get out…they don't usually get asylum."

As a consolation, Trump promised the tents are "going to be very nice."

From The Hill:

President Trump is expected to sign an executive order this week that would revamp U.S. policy

on asylum seekers by requiring them to go to ports of entry to apply for asylum, the

Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.

Trump could sign the order as soon as Friday morning before he leaves for Paris for a scheduled

trip, the Journal reported, citing administration officials.

Those officials also told the newspaper that the plan is for the policy to be temporary,

but they didn't provide a specific timeline.

The president said his policy would be "totally legal" even though current law allows immigrants

to seek asylum even if they don't come into the country via a port of entry.

He also said last week that the policy would be implemented through an executive order

by this week.

"Under this plan, the illegal aliens will no longer get a free pass into the country

by lodging meritless claims in seeking asylum," Trump said during a speech from the White

House.

Trump: Florida election officials 'probably' tried to cheat me in 2016 - Duration: 17:18.

Donald Trump claimed Friday that Democratic election officials in south Florida 'probably' plotted to rig the 2016 presidential election there against him, saying their slowness in submitting results indicated that only his sizable lead prevented them from trying to 'falsify' the results

The president sent a series of tweets while Air Force One was en route to Paris, blasting Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes, a Democrat, for 'finding votes' to whittle away at Republicans' leads in U

S. Senate and gubernatorial contests that they appeared to win on Tuesday.'In the 2016 Election I was winning by so much in Florida that Broward County, which was very late with vote tabulation and probably getting ready to do a "number," couldn't do it because not enough people live in Broward for them to falsify a victory!' Trump wrote

The president's effort to personalize his complaints about the shrinking victory margins of Senate candidate Rick Scott and governor hopeful Ron DeSantis came just minutes before the Republican National Committee blasted out an appeal for donations to a 'Florida Grassroots Recount Fund

''We need to ensure a FAIR PROCESS,' said the email, send under Trump's signature

Scott, the current Florida governor, challenged Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson for his seat

DeSantis is a member of the U.S. House who ran against Tallahassee's Democratic Mayor Andrew Gillum

'Rick Scott was up by 50,000+ votes on Election Day, now they "found" many votes and he is only up 15,000 votes,' Trump vented on Twitter, attributing the march toward parity '"The Broward Effect

" How come they never find Republican votes?'And he noted that Gillum conceded his race to DeSantis on Tuesday, but 'Broward County has put him "back into play"

' Gillum withdrew his concession on Thursday. Trump claimed Nelson had also 'conceded,' something several Florida newspapers incorrectly reported as Tuesday wore into Wednesday

The president's complaints came after he had already lashed out at Broward County's top election official, suggesting 'dishonesty' could play a role in handing Nelson a victory when the dust settles

Trump tweeted about that race and one in a neighboring state, snarking about Democrats' efforts to change unfavorable results

'They have had a horrible history,' he said of Snipes' department at the White House on Friday morning

Snipes has a checkered past there, including a judge's finding that she illegally destroyed ballots in a previous election

She 'has been to court' and 'she lost,' he said. The margin between Scott and the incumbent Nelson narrowed as additional ballots were located in Broward and elsewhere

The race now stands close enough to trigger an automatic hand-recount statewide.'She has had a horrible history,' Trump said of Snipes

'And all of a sudden they're finding votes out of nowhere! And Rick Scott, who won by – you know, it was close but he won by a comfortable margin – every couple of hours it goes down a little bit

'  'All of a sudden they're finding votes?' he said later. 'You mean, after the election, they're finding votes?'  Trump tweeted as Air Force One left for Paris that Georgia gubernatorial hopeful Stacey Abrams should give up her quest to force a runoff with Brian Kemp, who defeated her on Tuesday in Georgia

'@BrianKempGA ran a great race in Georgia – he won. It is time to move on!' he wrote

If Kemp's final total is 50 per cent or less of all the votes cast, he will have to battle Abrams again on December 4

The president complained at the White House about Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign lawyer Marc Elias, who is supervising Nelson's push for a recount

'As soon as Democrats sent their best Election stealing lawyer, Marc Elias, to Broward County they miraculously started finding Democrat votes,' he tweeted

'Don't worry, Florida – I am sending much better lawyers to expose the FRAUD!''Rick Scott was up by 50,000+ votes on Election Day,' Trump wrote later, but 'now they "found" many votes and he is only up 15,000 votes

"The Broward Effect." How come they never find Republican votes?' Elias also was the middle-man that year when the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee sent millions of dollars to political research firm Fusion GPS, a transaction that launched a so-called 'dirty dossier' on Trump that alleged he cavorted with prostitutes in Moscow

'They were involved with that fraud of the fake dossier, the phony dossier,' Trump said of Elias, without naming him directly

'And I guess I hear they were somehow involved, or work, with the GPS Fusion [sic] people

''You look at the dishonesty!' Trupm vented. 'Look, look, there's bad things that have gone on in Broward County, really bad things

' Scott unleashed lawsuits against Broward and Palm Beach Counties on Thursday, accusing Democrats of trying to steal the election

Both the Senate seat Scott thought was his on Tuesday night, and the governor's contest that looked all but won by Republican Ron DeSantis, are within the margin for recounts

'The people of Florida deserve fairness and transparency, and the supervisors are failing to give it to us,' Scott claimed

The lawsuit was filed about the same time Scott, as governor, ordered state law enforcement officials to investigate the Broward and Palm Beach voting operations

A spokesperson for Nelson bristled at Scott's legal maneuvering, telling CNN: 'The goal here is to see that all the votes in Florida are counted and counted accurately

Rick Scott's action appears to be politically motivated and borne out of desperation

'Elias's role in the Florida recounts will continue to be a sore spot for Republicans

'Folks involved in funding this lied about it, and with sanctimony, for a year,' Times reporter Maggie Haberman tweeted after The Washington Post linked the dossier to Elias and his law firm Perkins Coie

Kennth Vogel, another Times journalist, tweeted: 'When I tried to report this story, Clinton campaign lawyer @marceelias pushed back vigorously, saying "You (or your sources) are wrong"

'The deal was born in the spring of 2016, when Elias was approached by Fusion GPS, and lasted until just before Election Day that year

When Fusion approached Elias, it had already been doing anti_Trump research work for the conservative Washington Free Beacon during the Republican primary season

But the dossier itself was funded entirely by Democrats, using Elias as a middle-man

After the DNC and the Clinton campaign started paying, Fusion GPS hired former British spy Christopher Steele to do the dirt-digging

His work later resulted in the dossier, which made unsubstantiated claims that Trump patronized prostitutes while visiting Moscow, and that he paid them to urinate on each other while cavorting on a bed that Barack and Michelle Obama had slept in during their pown previous trip to Russia's capital city

Trump has called the material 'phony stuff,' and the White House has complained that the dossier's other unconfirmed allegations were part of the Obama-era Justice Department's justifications fo spying on Carter Page, one of his campaign advisers

Elias also led the five-month recount process that resulted in the 2008 election of former Minnesota Democratic Sen

Al Franken, who won that contest by just 312 votes. It was later determined that officials counted the votes of at least 341 convicted felons in the state's largest county

Another 52 voters cast ballots illegally in a second county.Franken resigned in disgrace last year following the publication of a photo showing him groping an actress while she slept on the way home from performing in a USO tour

Scott's emergency complaints accuse Snipes and Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Susan Bucher of being 'unwilling to disclose records revealing how many electors voted, how many ballots have been canvassed, and how many ballots remain to be canvassed

'The complaints say the counties' handling of ballots 'raises substantial concerns about the validity of the election process

''Late Tuesday night, our win was projected to be around 57,000 votes,' Scott told reporters during his press conference Thursday

'By Wednesday morning, that lead dropped to 38,000. By Wednesday evening, it was around 30,000

This morning, it was around 21,000. Now, it is 15,000.'He continued: 'On election night, Broward County said there were 634,000 votes cast

At 1am today, there were 695,700 ballots cast on election day. At 2.30pm today, the number was up to 707,223 ballots cast on Election Day

And we just learned, that the number has increased to 712,840 ballots cast on election day

In Palm Beach County, there are 15,000 new votes found since election night. 'So, it has been over 48 hours since the polls closed and Broward and Palm Beach Counties are still finding and counting ballots – and the Supervisors – Brenda Snipes and Susan Bucher – cannot seem to say how many ballots still exist or where these ballots came from, or where they have been,' Scott said

During the press conference, Scott declared there could be 'rampant fraud' in the counties ballot-counting process

President Trump, following the Scott's press conference tweeted 'Law Enforcement is looking into another big corruption scandal having to do with Election Fraud in Broward and Palm Beach

Florida voted for Rick Scott!'Senator Nelson's re-election bid now trails Scott's by just 17,000 votes, within the

25 per cent margin required for a hand recount. Nelson's campaign aides believe he will emerge victorious once all the ballots are counted

Meanwhile, a teacher in a Broward County school found a container labeled 'Provisional Ballot Box' in a storage area of her elementary school on Thursday

Lakeisha Williams, of Broward County, said she found the box Thursday at Miramar Elementary School

It was apparently left behind by election workers.'I went into the area that we use for storage and saw it in there,' Williams told the New York Post

Judge Rules That Trump Ignored The Law By Approving Keystone XL Pipeline - Duration: 4:31.

In a huge victory for those of us who care about living in a decent environment this

week, a federal judge issued a stay in Donald Trump's decision to go ahead and fast track

the Keystone XL Pipeline, here in the United States.

Judge Brian Morris is the one who issued the stay, which temporarily, yet immediately,

halts all construction on the Keystone XL Pipeline.

In his ruling, when was actually a phenomenal ruling, he said that the president and this

administration violated the Administrative Procedure Act.

What that means is that there are certain procedures that a president or any cabinet

department has to go through before approving a project.

They have to look at the risk.

They have to look at the benefits.

They also have to look, in terms of risk, at climate change and environmental impact.

According to the judge, the administration didn't do that.

When they said that, "Oh, the environment'll be just fine from this," they provided no

reasoning to give that specific analysis, like why is the environment gonna be fine?

You didn't tell us that.

You just told us that everything's gonna be cool, so we should just go with it.

That's not exactly how it works.

You violated the rule that was put in place to make sure that everybody knows exactly

what this thing is going to do, regardless of what this thing happens to be.

Here's some key takeaways from the ruling.

I want to read these, because they're very important, and very damning for the Trump

Administration.

Judge's findings here ... "The State Department, in issuing the permit, failed to analyze the

cumulative greenhouse gas emissions of the Keystone project.

The department acted on incomplete information regarding the potential damage to cultural

resources in Indian territory along the route.

The department appears to have jumped the gun."

It's not just the environmental impact of Keystone XL, it's also going through sacred

tribal lands, that they just said, "To hell with I, we're gonna do it anyway."

Yeah.

Also violated the rules put in place to prevent things like this.

"Department failed to make a fact based explanation for it's course reversal," which was when

the Obama Administration decided not to do the project and Trump did.

" ... let alone a reasoned explanation.

An agency cannot simply disregard contrary or inconvenient factual determinations that

it made in the past, any more than it can ignore inconvenient facts in the present."

That's pretty damning against this administration.

He's basically telling them that, "You had these facts that tell you this thing's gonna

be horrible, and you chose to ignore them and tell us the opposite."

Pretty bold statement there from the judge.

Finally, "The department's analysis that climate related impacts from Keystone would prove

inconsequential, needed a reasoned explanation and it did not provide one."

That's what I had mentioned previously, that they said, "No, everything's gonna be cool

with the environment.

We don't have to give you a reason, and we're not going to."

Again, under this Administrative Procedure Act, you have to do those things.

The bottom line is that this administration did not do their due diligence.

They lied to the American public.

They lied to their own cabinet department, in approving the Keystone XL Pipeline, which

will do nothing to help Americans with their energy independence.

All that oil's coming from Canada down to the Gulf Coast, to be sold overseas.

The Keystone I Pipeline, up in Canada, has had constant leaks and constant breakages,

which has lead to a lot of environmental destruction.

The Keystone XL Pipeline would not be monitored properly.

There would be flyovers, I believe, once a month.

It would create roughly 36 permanent new jobs here in the United States.

It would go through sacred lands of Native Americans.

It would pass over the Ogallala Aquifer, one of the largest fresh water aquifers serving

millions of people here in the United States.

By every possible stretch of the imagination, based on every single fact that we have, this

project would be an absolute environmental disaster.

That is why it is so important that this judge ruled, if only temporarily, that the construction

has to immediately come to a stop.

Trump Tweets a Meme at Iran & India Erects a Record-Breaking Statue | The Daily Show - Duration: 3:32.

As you probably know,

the migrant caravan coming from Central America

is now just a few short 700 miles

from the United States border.

And the welcoming committee is on the way to meet them.

Tonight a show of force with migrant caravans

at least 700 miles away.

The first wave of U.S. troops arrives at the Texas border,

creating barriers, putting up barbed wire and fencing,

an effort to keep migrants out.

WOMAN: There are reports this border deployment

could cost upwards of $200 million

by the end of the year.

$200 million?

For that money, you realize

you could fly the entire caravan first class to Scandinavia.

(laughter)

Which, by the way, would be a lot more entertaining to watch.

Yeah, 'cause then you'd see

what those other countries are really about.

It would be like, "America,

"the way you treat the needy is so heartless.

"Why can't you just...? What? They're coming here?

"Wait, wait, wait, wait. Wait, wait.

Oh, that's not gonna work with. No, yeah."

Yeah, we'll find out the Swedish word for "wall."

Uh, now don't forget. Don't forget.

Um, down on the Mexican border,

America already has the Border Patrol, the National Guard.

And you've got Space Force. Don't forget that.

So, you don't really need the army there.

But Trump will find an excuse to use the troops for anything.

You know, next thing you know, he'll be like,

"This table is so wobbly, folks.

"Let's get a troop under that leg.

Thank you for your service! Great job!"

In other news,

President Trump today officially implemented new sanctions

on Iran, and this was to punish them

for upholding their end of the Iran nuclear deal.

And his announcement was something straight out

of an HBO show.

President Trump is facing backlash this morning

for a controversial tweet

promoting sanctions against Iran.

The president posted this picture yesterday morning

with the quote "Sanctions are Coming."

The picture and the text are a knockoff

of HBO's Game of Thrones,

and its slogan, "Winter Is Coming."

Now, in response, HBO tweeted,

"How do you say trademark misuse in Dothraki?"

-(laughter) -Is, uh...?

Is anyone taking politics seriously anymore?

Really? The president of the United States

is dropping Game of Thrones memes

for harsh, economic sanctions?

Like, you know what? Screw it.

He should do that for all of his policies from now on.

Just be like, "Better Call Wall."

And "America's Got Tax-Cuts."

Oh, and of course, his signature policy--

"Orange Hates the New Black.

-(laughter, groaning) -Also...

(cheers and applause)

Also, in international news,

there's a new tallest man in the world.

He's Indian, he's made of bronze,

and he's worth a fortune.

NEWSMAN: India has unveiled the world's tallest statue,

twice the size of the Statue of Liberty.

It honors freedom fighter Sardar Patel,

who's credited with bringing the country together

after India gained independence from Great Britain in 1947.

NEWSWOMAN: The state government says that it's 597 feel tall

and cost $403 million.

$400 million for a statue.

You realize for that amount of money you could fly the caravan

back from Sweden first-class

and then pay them to put up barbed wire to block themselves.

What are you doing, India? And here's the thing,

I'm not saying India shouldn't build statues,

but why not build one of, like, Gandhi, right?

He's also famous, and he was much skinnier, okay?

Yeah. They could have saved on materials.

Same height, half the cost.

Fox News STUNS Lindsey Graham By Reminding Him He Defended Jeff Sessions - Duration: 3:22.

You know, there was a time when some Republican Senators said that they would absolutely be

shocked and angry if Donald Trump got rid of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, but that

was way back when.

I mean this was 2017, right?

And apparently all of those Republicans forgot that they said these things, including Lindsey

Graham, who was actually just confronted on Fox News about his defense of Jeff Sessions

after Donald Trump fired him, which really left Lindsey Graham shocked and confused about

them calling him out on this.

Here's the clip.

Watch Lindsey Graham's face and see his reaction.

This is priceless.

You heard the reaction from Senator Joe Manchin, and I would just remind you as many have been

reminding you today of what you said back in July of 2017.

Here's this.

If Jeff Session is fired, there will be holy hell to pay.

Any effort to go after Mueller could be the beginning of the end of the Trump Presidency

unless Mueller did something wrong.

So given where we are now, what do you say now?

So when was that?

What year?

July of 2017.

Things have changed.

So ... yeah.

So, what I've been saying for months is that everybody, ever President deserves an Attorney

General they have confidence in and they can work with.

That was almost painful, to see Lindsey Graham squirming like that, when was that, who, what,

I don't know that man, I've never seen that guy in my life, who is this guy?

Look, Lindsey Graham has done probably the most apparent about face on Donald Trump.

I mean in the first year, 2017, Lindsey Graham was out there as one of those never Trumpers,

telling the media what a horrible person he was and how he disagreed with him here and

disagreed with him there, just like that little clip we saw, if he gets rid of Jeff Sessions,

it's the beginning of the end of the presidency.

Then this year, he like most other Republicans, decided I love Trump.

He started going golfing with him.

They became best buds, Lindsey Graham even praised him for how good of a golfer he is.

Now of course, even back last year when Lindsey Graham was attacking the President, he was

still voting with him more than 90% of the time, so he never actually put up any resistance

to what Donald Trump was trying to do, he just liked to portray himself in the media

as a guy that wasn't a big fan of him.

Lindsey Graham is an absolute disgusting character who has no loyalty to his little friends in

the Senate.

He has no loyalty to the rule of law, more importantly.

He knows Whitaker's gonna come in here, try to sabotage the Mueller investigation, but

at this point it may be too late to do so.

Hopefully it is.

Hopefully Mueller has crossed his T's and dotted his I's and he's got exactly what he

needs and no amount of defunding or interference from this administration is going to effect

that.

We won't know until the next round of indictments come out or until the final report comes out.

But Lindsey Graham, actually being confronted on Fox News about his change in positions

is one of the most priceless moments that we have seen this year and it is something

that I am going to cherish for a very long time.

David Remnick Explains Why Impeaching Trump Could Backfire on Democrats - Duration: 4:47.

-So, you wrote a couple weeks ago

about how this election would be a referendum on Trump.

You wrote afterwards that this wasn't quite a blue wave,

but that it will have repercussions

for Trump moving forward.

What is -- A couple more days have passed,

and more seats than we thought have gone to Democrats

in the last couple of days. -Yeah.

-I think since you first wrote that.

-Right.

-Does it feel more like a wave now?

And how do you think Trump is feeling?

-It's like blue crush.

It's not like one of those huge tidal waves.

-Yeah. It's like a Hudson River lapping.

-Yeah. [ Laughter ]

Right up against, you know, the 79th Street pier

or something like that. -Yeah.

-But the big thing that happened

is the House of Representatives goes to the Democrats.

And that causes the chairman and the chairpeople

of all the committees to be Democrats

as opposed to Republicans, and when they were Republicans,

somebody like Devin Nunes was acting less

as an investigator of the President

and his committee as the president's personal attorney.

-Yes. -Which was a problem.

-It was a problem, sure.

-And so now you have all this investigated heat

likely to come down on the President,

which will -- let's face it -- it's gonna cause a real storm.

Because even on a good day, even on his best day...

[ Laughter ]

...the President is capable of behavior,

well, like what you were showing on the film.

-Yes. [ Laughter ]

-And now that he's gonna be quite possibly in a corner,

whether it's possibly his son might get indicted,

thanks to Robert Mueller,

or something might happen to him

or they'll look into his finances,

he's apoplectic about this.

So within 8 1/2 seconds, 8 1/2 -- maybe 8 3/4 seconds

after the election, what you had was the President

giving a press conference that was unhinged.

And he fired the attorney general, as expected,

but replaced him with a guy that is just gonna do his bidding.

So this is a recipe for disaster.

-I know you're not in the prediction game,

but what do you think is going to happen

with Mueller going forward?

Do you think -- Because there was this theory out there

that Mueller was out of, you know, established courtesies

laying off doing anything in the run-up to the election.

Now that the election is over,

do you think we're gonna see a deluge of stuff from him?

-I don't know what the deluge is going to be,

but there's obviously gonna be some action.

One thing you can say about Robert Mueller,

even though he's kept his counsel so tightly,

he's not an idiot.

-Yeah.

-And so he knows that the attorney general

is gonna get fired.

He knows the attorney general was not gonna be replaced by,

you know, Justice Brandeis or something --

you know something right-thinking and just.

I think he could have predicted this outcome.

So I think you can expect some action out of his office,

and I think he was holding it pretty tight close to his chest.

And it's gonna be a big drama.

And I think it's gonna be a drama on the level of its kind

like I experienced as, you know, as a kid, Watergate.

-Yeah. -In some form or another.

And it's -- One thing you can be sure of, Seth,

and this is the great tragedy here,

to be very serious about it,

is that we face enormous problems in this country.

We face, you know, a climate-change problem

that we can't even get our heads around

and we're going to do nothing about it

for the next year.

And then we're gonna be in the -- if it gets this far,

we're gonna be in a presidential campaign

and do nothing for another year

and it's not just climate change.

It has to do with all kinds of criminal-justice issues.

Has to do with all the things we face.

Nothing's gonna get done unless the Democrats

at least make an issue out of it

because nothing's going to come out of the president's office.

-I want to ask about this. You mentioned the Democrats.

It did seem they were more successful in this election

because they didn't make it as much about Trump.

They tried to stick with issues.

they tried to talk about healthcare.

-That's right.

-Do you think now they might fall into a trap

because they have this little bit of power?

-It's a problem. -Yeah.

-I mean, it's a tough choice.

And a lot of people in Congress, leadership certainly,

are very wary, for example, of impeachment

because they remember in 1998, of course,

Republicans impeached Bill Clinton,

and Bill Clinton's popularity shot through the roof.

That's a problem.

So, you know, what can actually help Donald Trump be re-elected?

Making his base more hardened in their hatred of the press,

of the Congress, Nancy Pelosi as a signal.

-It seems like they don't have a lot of road left to hate it more

than they already do. -It's a problem. Yeah.

Trump Considers Chris Christie for Attorney General - Duration: 4:14.

-Let's get to some news here, guys.

After firing Attorney General Jeff Sessions,

I read that President Trump might replace him

with Chris Christie.

[ Audience oohs ]

Christie was so excited,

he tore his apron off at Jersey Mike's

and yelled, "I quit!"

[ Laughter and applause ]

"I'm ready! Let's go! Enough!"

[ Applause continues ]

That's right -- Trump might replace Jeff Sessions

with Chris Christie.

Apparently, Trump was like,

"The elf didn't work -- let's try Santa."

[ Laughter and applause ]

Oh, get this.

People here in New York can't stop talking

about a rare Mandarin duck

that showed up in Central Park a few days ago.

You hear what I'm talking about? Can we take a look at that duck?

Look at this. Oh, my. [ Audience ohs ]

-Ooh! -Ow!

-That is -- That duck is beautiful.

[ Laughter ] Wow!

Uh, s-sorry, guys. Just one second.

I got to do something real quick.

[ Slow music plays ]

What up, duck? [ Laughter ]

Couldn't help but notice you there in the pond.

I just want to say I like your style.

[ Laughter ] Yeah, I new you're new in town

and probably haven't made a lot of friends yet,

so if you ever want to just chill and do duck stuff,

give me a quack. [ Laughter ]

I could come up to the park and sit on the bench

while you just kind of float there.

And maybe I could pick up a loaf of bread

and tear it into little pieces and throw it at you to eat...

if you're into that sort of thing.

[ Laughter ] I-I...

I can tell that you're not like all the other ducks.

[ Light laughter ] And...

you may have a mysterious past, but you've got the look.

[ Laughter ]

So I know this is probably going to come out all wrong,

but I just wanted to say...

[ Quack ]

[ Laughter and applause ]

[ Applause continues ]

-Whoo-hoo!

-Guys, listen to this --

a woman in Australia just gave birth to a 12-pound baby...

[ Audience murmuring ]

...without any pain meds.

[ Audience groans ]

Her doctor said, "You were amazing,"

while the baby was like,

"I am never gonna hear the end of this."

[ Laughter and applause ] "This is -- I mean,

This is my story now." [ Applause continues ]

Guys, I'm getting an update from an earlier story.

I'm not sure if you've heard this,

but there's a rare Mandarin duck in Central Park, and...

[ Laughter ]

...it turns out the duck has gone missing.

-[ Gasps ] [ Audience ohhs ]

-Oh, my God, I'm sorry, guys. One -- One sec.

[ Slow music plays ] [ Laughter ]

What up, duck?

[ Laughter ]

Classic you. [ Laughter ]

Even when you're on the run, you got the whole city talking.

[ Laughter ]

You don't have to explain yourself.

You're wild, and you were meant to fly free.

And I-I know it's getting cold,

and you're -- you're probably flying

somewhere warmer right now,

as I send this message through the airwaves,

but...I'll never forget you.

And I hope you don't forget me.

And, hey, no matter what this crazy world throws your way,

always remember...

[ Quack ]

[ Laughter and applause ]

[ Applause continues ]

Hey, guys, I saw that

"The Grinch" is in theaters this weekend.

I'm excited to have "The Grinch."

[ Cheers and applause ]

And -- And get this -- they just added an emotional new scene

where Jeff Sessions reunites with his family in Whoville.

-Aw! -Yeah, it's really good.

[ Laughter and applause ]

Finally, you guys,

it's time for "Tonight Show News Blenders."

This is where we take real headlines

and blend them together

to see how much weirder we can make them.

I'll show you what I mean.

For example, if you blend the stories

"Fans Upset After 'Dancing with the Stars' Elimination,"

"Trump Fires Jeff Sessions, Quickly Shuffles Staff,"

and "Truffle Season Doing Well"...

you get,

"Trump Quickly Eliminated from 'Dancing with the Stars'

After Doing the Truffle Shuffle."

[ Laughter and applause ]

See? -Yeah, I get it.

[ Applause continues ]

-Next up, if you blend the stories

"Under Armour Staff Uses Company Credit Card at Strip Club"...

[ Laughter ]

..."Ted Cruz Warns of Visit from Illegal Aliens,"

and "Pop-up Shops Teach Farm-to-table Cooking,"

you get

"Ted Cruz Visits Alien Strip Club,

Pops Up Under Table."

[ Laughter and applause ]

[ Applause continues ]

And here's the last one -- if you blend the stories

"Guys Mow 'FU45' into Lawn,"

"Joe Biden Emerges From Voting Booth, Goes Viral in Minutes,"

and "Bill Gates Says

Toilets Have Chilling Effect on Environment,"

you get,

"After 45 Minutes, Joe Biden Emerges From Toilet,

Says, 'FU, Chili's.'"

[ Laughter and applause ] That's some wild stories.

Guys, we have a great show tonight.

Give it up for The Roots! -Let's go, man!
