U.S. President Donald Trump said he will not rush into an agreement with North Korea, but

things, he said, will go well.

At a rally in Nevada Saturday local time, ahead of the mid-term elections, he touted

his success on the economy and North Korea, noting that there have been no more missile

tests and that American hostages have been freed.

His comments reaffirm Washington's stance that it won't rush into denuclarization talks

with Pyeongyang... and that it's optimistic about progress with the North.

A day earlier, a senior White House official said the second North Korea-U.S. summit will

likely take place early next year.

The number of people in Korea working in retail, hospitality and food service has fallen for

the first time in five years.

Data by Statistics Korea shows the number of people employed in those sectors recorded

a monthly average of 5-point-9 million between January and September, a drop of 110-thousand

on-year.

This marks the first drop since the statistics agency started compiling that figure in 2013.

But the number of workers in the public sector increased by more than 60-thousand, recording

a monthly average of one-point-one million, the highest figure since 2013.

As evidence mounted over more than two weeks that he was slaughtered and dismembered by a 15-person hit squad (with bone saw in hand) flown in and out of Turkey, the regime lied to President Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, over and over again

 Mohammed bin Salman is now going to oversee further investigation — for a month. Rarely have we seen such a patently stupid coverup for a crime of this magnitude

"After 2+ [weeks] of dissembling, the Saudi 'explanation' is not remotely credible," Suzanne Maloney of the Brookings Institution tweeted

"Nor is the MBS myth, at least not anymore." She continued: "The end result of this horrific saga is a weaker, more isolated Saudi Arabia [and] a less effective US-Saudi partnership

And no justice for the innocent victim." The administration appears willing to go along with this farce

Unbelievably, President Trump called this nonsensical explanation and stalling a "great first step" and immediately took off the table the best leverage we have, arms sales

He stressed he wanted to talk to MBS before further action, essentially offering to consult with the person many experts say must have been at least aware of the plot to snatch and kill Khashoggi

 White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders's bland acknowledgment of Khashoggi's death and announcement that the White House would continue to "follow" international investigations (that would be the Saudi's self-investigation?) reminds one of Hannah Arendt's phrase "the banality of evil

" Meanwhile, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin insists on going to an anti-terror finance meeting in Riyadh, having just canceled on a separate "Davos in the Desert" confab that he and business leaders withdrew from in the aftermath of Kashoggi's disappearance

There was no actual condemnation by the administration of this human rights atrocity, no defense of a free press or of the right of Americans (residents or citizens) to travel safely

The administration looks feckless, and if it continues down this road, will earn the ridicule and disdain of Americans, our allies and all free peoples

In allowing the Saudis to delay this long and failing to demand audio recordings allegedly capturing the murder, the administration has become an accessory after the fact, an enabler of nearly unimaginable evil

What's more, Trump looks pathetically weak. His childlike willingness to adopt a transparent lie so as to avoid taking action will certainly entice other despots to engage in similar acts of brutality

 Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), one of many 2020 possible presidential candidates, issued a blistering statement: "This is the most corrupt administration in living history

Do we need a strong response on Saudi Arabia? Absolutely. And Donald Trump is showing he is not capable

" If there is a ray of hope here, it is Congress, even one presently controlled by Republicans

The Post reports: International outrage over the killing of Jamal Khashoggi, a journalist and Washington Post contributor, has galvanized lawmakers and critics who are seeking to curb arms sales to Saudi Arabia

The kingdom is the largest importer of U.S.-made weapons and for years has come under fire from human rights group for jailing dissidents and journalists and killing civilians in a military campaign in Yemen

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), who has repeatedly urged his colleagues to end sales to Saudi Arabia, said he will fight the next Saudi arms deal that comes before Congress

Moreover, if Democrats win control of at least one chamber, they will have the power of oversight

In that case, they must demand every scrap of evidence the administration had concerning the murder

What did it know, and why, as it appears, did it feign ignorance of the crime? Pompeo, intelligence chiefs and others with knowledge of the facts must be questioned under oath

At the same time, Congress must have robust hearings enlisting human rights and national security experts concerning the Saudis' human rights abuses and the regime's influence-buying in the United States

(Every think tank, university and nongovernmental organization that accepts Saudi or Gulf-state money should be required to disclose its funding

) Finally, in addition to suspending our arms deals (which do not amount to $110 billion as Trump claims), Congress should insist on application of Magnitsky Act sanctions against all involved in this despicable crime

That should include MBS, if as knowledgeable intelligence experts say, he was fully aware of the plot and involved in the coverup

If Trump and the Republicans want to defend the Saudis, they can try. It will prove to be politically disastrous

Maybe instead of defending the indefensible and appearing utterly foolish, the president and his minions should start a review and reassessment of their already incoherent Middle East policy

Trump Personally Stopped FBI Headquarter Move To Hurt His Hotel Competitors - Duration: 4:21.

We're learning more and more as the days go by about this FBI decision to move their headquarters

from downtown Washington, DC off into the suburbs of DC, which was actually a plan that

was scrapped by this administration, I believe, in January of this year.

But, what we found out in the last few days is that the decision to not move the FBI headquarters

was because Donald Trump himself came in and made the decision to not move it.

Now, that may seem innocuous.

People say "Okay.

Well, yeah, he's the president.

He made the decision he didn't want to move it."

Here's the thing.

First and foremost, we had ... Let's see.

Emily Murphy was a general services administrator.

Emily Murphy testified before Congress earlier this year saying that the president was not

involved in any way in the decision to not move the FBI headquarters.

Was not involved.

Lying to Congress is against the law, by the way.

We have now this week have gotten documents and even photographs of the actual meetings

that show that yes Donald Trump not only was involved, but he is the one who made the decision.

Okay.

You might be thinking well then, Emily Murphy lied.

She's a bad person and Trump made the decision but he can do that because he's president.

Right?

Not so fast.

These are actually decisions that are not made by the President of the United States

and the reason he made the decision to not move the FBI was because it would cost him

personally a lot of money.

See, the FBI right now is actually headquartered, as I mentioned, downtown DC about a block

away from the Donald Trump Hotel.

If they were to move that to somewhere else, not only would he lose potential business

of people who have to come in and do business with the FBI, but then that little slice of

property right there, that really prime spot of property, could be bought up by one of

his competitors, which is something Donald Trump mentioned.

Then, his hotel would lose a ton of business because there'd be an equally nice hotel right

across the street that they could go to instead.

Donald Trump made the decision to not move the FBI headquarters because it was going

to cost him money personally.

He did it for his business that he is not even supposed to be involved in.

We had the White House Sarah Huckabee Sanders again any time there's a lie you got to go

back and you'll find her fingerprints on it.

She said that no, no, no, the reason the decision was made is because it would be too expensive

to move the headquarters somewhere else.

What we're going to do is just rebuild it on the same spot, except for the fact, and

Huckabee Sanders didn't mention this, that the Government Accounting Office actually

said that well, it's more expensive to rebuild here than it would be to just move and build

something somewhere else.

We're losing money.

Taxpayers are losing money.

We're the ones who pay for this stuff.

We lose the money so that Donald Trump's personal bank account doesn't have to.

This story from start to finish is just another example, just another story to add to the

growing list of reasons why Donald Trump should be removed from the White House.

He is not making the best decisions based on what's best for the taxpayers or based

on what's best for the country.

He is making decisions based on what's best for his businesses and his personal net worth.

That is illegal for the President of the United States to do that.

The sooner that we can get this man out of office, the sooner we can get this country

back on the right track where they're at least attempting or giving us the façade of doing

the right thing for taxpayers instead of the right thing for their own bank accounts.

Twitter Purges 1,500 Pro-Trump Accounts For Spreading Wrong Election Date - Duration: 3:17.

Last weekend Twitter suspended more than 1,500 fake accounts on their website.

Because those accounts were actually spreading incorrect information about when election

day actually is this year.

They were out there saying that election day was November 7th, which is Wednesday.

When in reality it's November 6th, the Tuesday.

Twitter linked these fake accounts back to a pro-Trump group that they believe started

on Reddit.

And they came up with the idea, allegedly as a joke, to create these fake twitter accounts

and go out there and try to confuse the liberals and tell them that they're supposed to vote

on Wednesday instead of on Tuesday.

Now we have seen this kind of stupid propaganda propping up on social media for years now.

Usually it is meant as a joke.

You'll see the thing, don't forget, Democrats vote on Wednesday.

Republicans vote on Tuesday.

Or sometimes vise versa.

We've seen it go the other way as well.

But here's the thing good on Twitter for actually doing something about this and stopping the

spread of this nonsensical propaganda.

You know, we have enough problems in this country as it is.

Without having to deal with these little proud boys on the internet who think they're so

funny trying to trick liberals and making them try to vote on Wednesday after the polls

have closed and the elections over.

Here's the thing Republicans, Democrats aren't as stupid as you are.

I mean, not all of them are the brightest out there but as a whole really not as dumb

as Republicans.

So your little trick probably wasn't gonna work to begin with.

But this is what social media outlets need to be working on, you know, they need to stop

banning these groups out there trying to showcase police brutality which is happening at an

alarming rate on Facebook.

And they need to focus more on the propaganda that's coming out because most of it is coming

from right here in the United States.

It's misinformation and it's damaging information that actually does threaten the vitality of

our election process.

So, again, kudos to Twitter for taking the correct step here.

You've got a lot more work to do though.

There's a lot of fake accounts spreading fake information trying to disrupt the political

discourse in this country.

And I'm not talking about other countries coming in and doing this creating fake accounts.

I'm talking about the ones right here in the United States on both sides of the aisle.

We see this happening too much.

It's poisoning the political discourse.

It's creating havoc in an area where there shouldn't be havoc.

Misinformation.

The real fake news out there.

Not the stuff the president talks about but the actual fake news being spread by these

little idiots online.

That needs to be put to rest.

And these social media outlets are the only ones who can do that.

But in order to do it, they actually have to put forth a little bit of effort to help

clean up the platforms that they created.

That they've also allowed to grow completely out of control.
