Trump news on Youtube Sep 6 2018

On Wednesday, an explosive op-ed about President Donald Trump was published in

'The New York Times' and you had better believe the late-night hosts had plenty to say

on the subject. The piece was written by an anonymous senior Trump administration

official who claims to be part of the "resistance" to Trump but not from the left and said,

in part, "Many Trump appointees have vowed to do what we can to preserve

our democratic institutions while thwarting Mr. Trump's more misguided impulses

until he is out of office." On CBS's 'Late Show' Stephen Colbert addressed the

mystery surrounding the author of the opinion piece, and took the opportunity to

poke fun at the revolving door of employees the White House has seen since

Trump stepped into office. Referring to the vague revelation that the writer was "a

senior official in the Trump administration whose identity is known to us and

whose job would be jeopardized by its disclosure," Colbert quipped:

Pondering just how many people there could be in the current administration who

believe in its policies and goals yet still think the president is a dangerous idiot,

Colbert came up with this simple equation.

Colbert's guest, former Secretary of State and onetime Democratic presidential

candidate John Kerry, also shared his thoughts on the 'Times' piece, saying that it

"scared the hell out of him," before offering some sobering words. "You know what

it really means, Stephen, is that we don't really have a president," Kerry said.

"We have a president who is there but he's not capable of doing the job or living up to

the responsibilities." Over on Comedy Central's 'Daily Show,' Trevor Noah expressed

shock at what the news could potentially mean. The host exclaimed, "Holy shit.

There's a secret group of people within the White House actively working to

curb President Trump, which is wild, because this means this whole time we've

been dealing with the watered-down version of Trump!"

Noah also said the op-ed and its author's admission that "it may be cold comfort in

this chaotic era, but Americans should know that there are adults in the room,"

did not make him feel any better. "Before this, I knew there was turbulence," Noah began.

He then concluded his comparison by joking about this potential solution to

the hypothetical scenario.

On ABC's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!,' Kimmel joked that he had cracked the case of

the authors hidden identity.

The late night host also pointed out that some Internet users have picked up on the use

of the word "lodestar" in the piece. "That's not a common word, lodestar. Not a lot of

people use that word," Kimmel explained before offering video evidence of Vice

President Mike Pence using the word…..like, a lot.

"Wouldn't that be something if it was Mike Pence?" Kimmel asked. "This is gonna drive

Trump absolutely nuts. Can you imagine what it must be like to have a job at

which almost everyone who works for you thinks you're a complete idiot?"

On NBC's 'Late Night' Seth Meyers also addressed the op-ed piece, paying homage

to the best-selling board game "Clue."

Also on NBC, 'The Tonight Show' host Jimmy Fallon joked about the situation saying,

He then pulled out his best Trump impression to imagine how the Commander-in-Chief

might have reacted to the news of the op-ed being published.

Trump's actual reaction, came via his favorite social media platform on Wednesday night

with the president tweeting, "Does the so-called "Senior Administration Official" really

exist, or is it just the Failing New York Times with another phony source?

If the GUTLESS anonymous person does indeed exist, the Times must,

for National Security purposes, turn him/her over to government at once!"

On Thursday morning, POTUS took to Twitter once more to write, "The Deep State

and the Left, and their vehicle, the Fake News Media, are going Crazy -

& they don't know what to do."

#1 Way to Reverse Trump's Global Harming - Duration: 6:38.

If we were actually honest with ourselves

we'd admit that we still have

an irrational fear of quicksand. Or that

we're powerless to cheese. Or that one

time we got a great deal on a pair of

jeans at a thrift store and realized

while showing them off to friends that

they were actually women's jeans. Why is

it so tight like right here? And we may

also admit that environmentally speaking,

Trump and his Congress are giving the

Royal f--- job to Mother Nature. Welcome

to Naughty Politics! I'm your host, Brad Lee.

Now when it comes to the environment,

Obama isn't exactly worthy of the

pedestal most liberals put him on. He did

some awesome: he promoted regulation--- hey

Karl, can we--can we cut it with the

graphics? Let me do my thing? All right,

those were Obama's good things. But he

also did some awful: he wavered on the

Keystone pipeli---Karl! Let me do my thing!

I'm trying to do my thing and you're not

letting me do my thing! Let me do my

thing!! Trump, though. Holy shit, Trump. He is

on another level.

He is a wartime president and the enemy

is the environment.

Trump has---don't, Karl. Don't. Trump has---

what are you doing you piece of sh--?

This is my show!

(acoustic guitar plays softly)

Holy sh--! Who's got a cheese? Who's got a

f---ing package cheese? I know for a fact

that one of you motherf---ers has a

pack of cheese. That was a running list

from National Geographic of all of

Trump's environmental awful from not even

600 days in office. With all of this, and

more to come in mind, I hope you agree

that it's f---ing imperative that we, you

and I, and your hot friend, and your

medium looking friend, we all need to do

everything in our power to help protect

this planet and the lives of those of us

who can't move to Mars. Because that's

what this comes down to. Helping to

protect people's lives and local

economies crippled by giant storms,

droughts, fires, floods, etc. Whatever your

reason is, I hope you agree that we need

to step up to help the peoples, places,

animals, and plants of this beautiful

world. Now there are things we can do as

a people that will make major strides in

reducing the earth's temperature, but I

as an individual can't force my state to

adopt wind farming. What are do you doin' today?

I was just gonna farm some wind. Brad's

making us do it. To make changes that big

we need to do the most important thing

we can do regarding basically all issues:

vote. Vote for candidates who believe

that humans cause climate change and

that we need to take action like the day

before tomorrow. Wait! That's today! Sh--!

Giant companies wouldn't spend millions

to swing elections if voting wasn't

important. They've paid top dollar to make

climate change a political issue so

their puppets can spout bullshit like,

"The science is unclear." "The verdict is

still out." "What is a verdict?" I can't

stress enough how truly important it is

to vote. Vote! Vote! Vote! Come on Karl! But

chances are we can't vote right now and

maybe we're feeling helpless. Well we're

not. We are not helpless. We, on a

micro-level, can do three things to make

a giant impact in reversing Trump's

Global Harming. Number one. Food wasted.

Cutting down on food waste is the number

one thing we can do to reverse climate

change. Why? Because rotting food releases a

f--- ton of methane into the atmosphere

and methane is far more potent than

carbon dioxide in warming the planet.

Food waste happens on so many levels. A

third of the food raised or prepared

doesn't make it to our spoons, forks, sporks,

or forkoons. A third! Some produce is

left in the field because demand isn't

there. No one will buy it. An enormous

amount is thrown out before shipment

because it's not pretty enough.

Other times grocery stores and

restaurants order too much for fear

their customers will be upset if they're--

Out of eggplant?!? What kind of restaurant run's out of eggplant?!?

And once we buy the food we often throw

it out because we think it's bad, we

forget about it, or we overestimate at

the store how much we need. But on top of

produce there's the milk we thought had

gone bad or meat that doesn't look fresh anymore.

So here are five things we can do to

reduce food waste. Number one: make sure

something is actually bad before garbaging

it. With meat, if it's not smelly or slimey, cook it and eat it.

That's my grandpa's rule. Another rule of

his: ranch dressing. You're really gonna throw out limp lettuce?

The entire purpose of ranch is to help

you forget about the f---ing taste and

texture of lettuce! Number two: don't

forget about it in the fridge. This helps

our bank accounts and the planet. It's

all happened to us. Driving back home to

introduce your girlfriend of almost two

years to your parents, only to be told

that you can't sleep in the same bed

with her because you're not married and

it will desecrate your parents home and

something about the Bible. And your dad

tells you to let it go but you can't let

it go and you lose sleep because you

can't let it go and you remember the bag

of spinach you left in the back your

fridge. We've all...we've all been there,

but we can do things like keeping food

that will go bad quicker at the front of

the fridge to prevent forgetful food

waste. Number three only by the amount we

need. People who plan their meals and

write a list are far less likely to over

buy. Dana Gunders, author of "Wasted," a

game-changing 2012 report that put food

waste in the spotlight, says, we should

definitely make a list, but also ask

ourselves when we're going to cook it.

She says we're often aspirational in the

grocery store and making a list and

questioning our aspirations will lead us

to choose a different major than studio

art. You were you were right dad. Number

four: don't freak out when the grocery

store or restaurant you're patronizing

is out of something you want. You're out

of kale? What's your name? Karen? How the

f--- am I supposed to make kale chips

without kale, Karen? If we are more

forgiving, if we just buy or order

something else without sass, there'd be

less overbuying by stores and restaurants.

And finally, number five: buy ugly produce, the

misshapen types with maybe a bruise or two.

Dude! Ms. Shapen. She was the best! Open

book tests. She was a bit lumpy but still a

babe! Ask your grocery store where

their ugly produce or reduced-price

section is, and if they have one, buy from

it. If they don't, ask them to get one and

choose the produce others won't because

that's what will get passed over and

release methane in a landfill. The most

impactful thing we can do to reverse

global warming is cutting down on food

waste. And those are five ways to do it.

Thanks for watching video one of "The

Naughty Politics Top Three Ways to

Reverse Trump's Global Harming. Be sure

to watch video two. It's shorter and I'm

giving away a prize. Wow. Ms. Shapen. She

had this thing on her neck, but such a sweetheart.

We used to call her sweet thing. No. That was sweet

neck thing. Yeah, we were...we were mean.

Trump Loses His Mind Over Staffer Who Wrote NYT Op-Ed - Duration: 3:45.

Donald Trump is absolutely furious about the New York Times op-ed that came out this week

allegedly written by a member of the Trump administration.

And because Donald Trump doesn't know who this anonymous staffer is, he is absolutely

losing his mind trying to find who this person could be.

Now so far we have had people like Mike Pence and Pence's chief of staff have to come out

and say, "No, no, no.

It 100% is not me."

Mike Pence was one of the early suspects I guess, because of the use of the term "lodestar."

Kellyanne Conway's name has also been floated out there as somebody who could have possible

written this thing, because as people have pointed out, she's relatively young, she could

still have a future in DC, her husband hates Trump, she's got kids she's got to care about,

so she still needs a career once she leaves here.

But I don't think it's them.

I think this is likely somebody who's a little bit of a smaller fish.

Somebody who's name you wouldn't ever recognize if they came out and said "Yes, it was me."

I could be wrong, we don't know, it's all speculation and that's why Trump is losing

his mind.

He tweeted out first and foremost that, "Obviously the failing New York Times has published this

thing.

They're horrible.

This person is gutless, but if indeed this person does exist the New York Times has to

immediately hand them over to the federal government for national security purposes."

Now, I don't know about you, but I don't see how in anyway what this op-ed has to say or

what this person wrote in the New York Times, how that is a national security issue.

This is just a person talking about their job inside the White House.

Yeah, whether you agree with it or disagree with it, whatever, but there's nothing of

national security importance written in that particular op-ed that wasn't already available

to the public.

So yeah, I'm going to have to go ahead and disagree with you on that.

And again, it obviously has nothing to do with national security.

You just want to know where the rats are.

You want to find out who you can trust within your administration and let me give you the

best answer possible Mr. Trump, the answer is nobody.

You can't trust anybody.

Everybody's out to get you.

That may not be true, but really the rest of the people in this administration do have

to be concerned about their futures.

You know, you have young staffers there.

People in their late 20s or early 30s, that have 30, 40 more years of work ahead of them.

We already know that many of these staffers who have left are incapable of finding new

jobs because nobody wants to hire anyone who worked for the Trump administration.

Hell, reports have come out saying they can't even find dates because nobody wants to date

a member of the Trump administration.

So this op-ed was an effort by this person, probably on behalf of several other people,

to save face.

To save their career, and hopefully cement their conservative roots inside of DC, so

that they can go on and work again in the future for a think tank, Republican members

of Congress, maybe another Republican president, who knows at this point.

But the important thing is that Donald Trump doesn't know, and he's going to be living

in fear until this person finally comes forward and says, "Yes.

It was me," but until then Trump can't trust anyone in his administration.

N. Korean leader says he plans to denuclearize within President Trump's first term - Duration: 2:26.

Kim Jong-un made it clear that Pyongyang is committed to getting rid of its nuclear weapons.

And for the very first time, the North Korean leader even unveiled a denuclearization timeline.

Park Hee-jun shares with us his remarks.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has once again reiterated his willingness to denuclearize.

South Korean National Security Advisor Chung Eui-yong, during a press briefing at the Blue

House on Thursday,... said that Kim remains very much committed to making the Korean Peninsula

nuclear-free.

"Chairman Kim Jong-un reaffirmed his stance towards denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula,...

and expressed his willingness to closely cooperate with South Korea, as well as the United States,

to achieve it."

Earlier Thursday,... North Korea's state-run media KCNA reported that North Korea remains

determined to establish peace and denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula.

It said the two Koreas should continue efforts to realize the goal of denuclearization,...

but did not elaborate on the details of how that would be achieved.

But during his meeting with the South Korean delegation,... Kim revealed that he plans

to achieve this within U.S. President Donald Trump's first term, which ends in January

2021.

Never before has the North Korean leader presented a potential timeline on denuclearization.

And according to Chung,... the North Korean leader asked that he deliver his good will

to the U.S., shown through the destruction of the Punggye-ri nuclear test site, of which

two thirds is irreversible,... and the shutdown of the Tongchang-ri missile launch site, which

means the country will no longer be able to test long-range missiles.

Kim says that if the U.S. takes measures that acknowledge the efforts made so far,... he

will accept stronger steps on denuclearization.

"I think that is a good sign from North Korea.

But we have to pay close attention to what kind of agreement the U.S. and North Korea

are going to make to achieve denuclearization.

So the importance of the summit from September 18,... is going to be how South Korean President

Moon Jae-in is going to tell Kim Jong-un that he has to have formal nogotiations between

the U.S. and North Korea.

What's left now,... is how President Moon Jae-in will drive denuclearization at the

upcoming inter-Korean summit,... and whether that summit will provide a potential breakthrough

in the nuclear deadlock.

Park Hee-jun, Arirang News.

Come potrà gestirlo?»

TRUMP NEEDS TO FIRE ROBERT MUELLER AFTER THIS - Duration: 14:08.

TRUMP NEEDS TO FIRE ROBERT MUELLER AFTER THIS

Robert Mueller is no friend to President Donald Trump.

But that doesn't mean that he will be overly helpful to Democrats.

Democrats just realized that after being forced to admit what we always knew about Robert

Mueller.

Robert Mueller's investigation is extremely one-sided.

It is Donald Trump vs. his enemies in a legal battle over the future of the United States

government.

If Trump wins, it at least appears as though he will keep control over the federal government.

His polling numbers are much stronger than they were before he defeated Hillary Clinton

anyway, and his approval within the Republican Party is at all-time historic highs at this

point in his presidency.

But if he loses, all of that could come crashing down.

If Robert Mueller can provide compelling enough evidence that Trump's campaign colluded

with Russia it is bad news for Trump supporters.

It doesn't matter if Trump actually colluded with Russia; it matters if Mueller can convince

the public he did.

But regardless of whether that happens or not, one thing is clear, the investigation

will not put the controversy involving the 2016 election behind us.

Former Federal Prosecutor Joseph Moreno explained this in an opinion article at The Hill.

Moreno is not someone with partisan ties; he has sided for and against the Trump administration

throughout the Russia collusion investigation.

He points out the fact that the conclusion of the investigation will likely make no sides

happy in the end.

The anti-Trump left is hoping that Mueller provides some smoking gun proving a massive

conspiracy between all facets of the Trump government that brings down Trump and everyone

close to him.

Trump supporters are hoping that Mueller provides zero evidence of any wrongdoing from any party.

In reality, Moreno believes that something in the middle will come out, and that it will

be unlikely that Trump will be indicted on any front.

Without an indictment, the only front of punishment for Trump will be impeachment, which will

be virtually impossible without a Democrat takeover during the upcoming midterm elections.

Any Republican voting to impeach Trump would be committing political suicide.

In order for any Republican, outside of a lame duck situation, to consider voting to

impeach Trump it would take a very high level of evidence that he did anything wrong.

And unless Mueller provides some sort of smoking gun, that will be unlikely to happen.

Moreno also explains that the real battle to impeach Trump will take place in the public

debate.

Public opinion would need to be turned against Trump before any real talk of impeachment

could occur.

That would mean that Republicans would need to turn on President Trump.

Right now that doesn't seem likely to happen..

Nearly 90 percent of Republicans currently approve of President Trump.

At the 500-day point in the Presidency only one Republican president has held a higher

approval rating, with that being George W. Bush in the wake of 9/11.

Impeachment seems less likely by the day, and even Democrats are being forced to realize

this.

Do you think Democrats have any chance at impeaching President Trump?

Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
