Despite the non-stop obstruction from Democrats and the GOP establishment, President Trump

keeps pushing forward – and it looks like his persistence is about to pay off BIGLY.

President Trump and congressional leaders have agreed to a border wall funding showdown

after the upcoming November midterm elections and if he plays his cards right, it could

result in $5 billion, more than twice what the White House initially sought.

While appropriations bills are moving at the fastest pace in over 20 years, with many expected

to be approved by Oct. 1, the start of the fiscal year, Homeland Security funding for

the wall is likely to be delayed, said officials.

Plans are already underway to approve temporary, "stopgap," funding that will cover Homeland

until its new spending is approved after the wall funding fight.

However, in a good sign for the White House, the Senate has already locked in the $1.6

billion Trump sought this year in wall construction funding in a bipartisan vote and it will be

included in the stopgap bill.

The House is likely to approve $5 billion for the wall, matching Trump's top level

wish and setting up negotiations with the Senate.

Threats of a shutdown over not getting full funding for the wall by Oct. 1, however, threaten

to disrupt the plan agreed to at a recent White House meeting between Trump, McConnell

and House Speaker Paul Ryan, according to a key official.

Should Trump shift and shut the government down, Democrats would likely make demands

for their support and that would include funding for their pet projects.

"A shutdown scenario becomes a lot more expensive," said a congressional negotiator.

To convince the president against a shutdown, officials are pointing to the pledge to push

for more border wall funding after the election.

Post-election negotiations could go fast because knowledgeable sources said that Senate Majority

Leader Mitch McConnell would approve $5 billion, as would other GOP leaders.

Republican Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, who heads the appropriations subcommittee funding

the wall, for example, told the West Virginia Metro News that she is working to get as much

as $5 billion.

"In talking to the Border Patrol, they seem to feel that is an amount that they could

absorb and work toward securing the border that way.

We are trying to find the money, but that's not easy.

We are in heavy discussion right now," said the West Virginia Republican.

And House and Senate aides said that if Trump makes a public case for more spending he could

get it quickly in the post-election talks.

on Chinese goods.

The Wall Street Journal reports that the measures could be announced as early as Monday.

The Trump administration is set to announce additional tariffs on Chinese goods worth

some two-hundred billion U.S. dollars.

Citing a senior government official,... the Wall Street Journal reported over the weekend

that the new tariffs could come as early as Monday local time.

It also explained that the new tariffs, as instructed by President Trump, will be set

at ten percent,... lower than the initial figure of 25 percent.

President Trump has signaled numerous times during the past weeks that he could slap additional

tariffs on a wide range of consumer goods manufactured in China.

Aside from such measures,...

U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin has made clear that high-level talks aimed at

alleviating the trade tensions between Washington and Beijing will be held late next week.

While the U.S. aims to squeeze Beijing,... the Trump administration's additional tariffs

could jeopardize the discussions,... and lead to fresh retaliation from China.

The trade war was initiated by Washington's 25 percent tariff on 34 billion dollars worth

of Chinese goods in July,... prompting China to hit back with its own levies on American

goods worth the same amount.

TRUMP SENDS IN THE FEDS – HUNDREDS OF ILLEGALS ROUNDED UP

When Democrats in California passed a law earlier this month declaring their state to

be a "sanctuary state," they assumed this meant that Donald Trump's Immigrations and

Customs Enforcement officials would be powerless to deport illegal aliens there.

Unfortunately for these liberal California nitwits, however, they just learned that they

were dead wrong.

San Francisco Gate reported that ICE officials have begun preparing for a massive sweep in

San Francisco and other Northern California cities in which federal officers would like

to arrest 1,500 illegal aliens.

A source familiar with the operation said that in doing this, ICE is hoping to send

the message that immigration policy will be enforced in the sanctuary state.

The campaign will reportedly be centered in the Bay Area, and it could begin in the next

few weeks.

The source, who requested anonymity, said that if it is successful, the operation would

be the biggest enforcement action of its kind under President Trump.

The source went on to explain that the operation will target people who have been identified

as targets for deportation, including those who have been served with final deportation

orders and those with criminal histories.

This number may increase, however, if officers come across other undocumented immigrants

in the course of their actions and make what are known as collateral arrests.

This comes months after California Governor Jerry Brown SB54, which enacted a statewide

sanctuary law.

Liberal supporters of the bill said that it allows undocumented immigrants to cooperate

with local police and seek education, health care and other public services without worrying

they will expose themselves to possible deportation.

ICE Director Thomas Homan wasn't having any of it, however, as he said that the federal

government would not allow California to be "a sanctuary state for illegal aliens,"

and would have no choice but to "conduct at-large arrests in local neighborhoods and

at worksites, which will inevitably result in additional collateral arrests, instead

of focusing on arrests at jails and prisons where transfers are safer for ICE officers

and the community."

At the beginning of January, Homan warned that "California better hold on tight"

and that if local politicians "don't want to protect their communities, then ICE will."

When asked about the upcoming operation, ICE spokesman James Schwab said that the agency

"doesn't comment on future or current operations."

Former Secretary of State and Obama flunky John Kerry has put himself in some serious

hot water.

By violating the Logan Act and speaking on behalf the United States government, he has

committed a felony and opened himself up to prosecution by Jeff Sessions' Department

of Justice.

Here's the scoop from Jerusalem Post:

While the White House has confirmed that since the Jerusalem Declaration there has been a

complete disconnect between the Palestinian Authority and the Trump administration, it

turns out that the previous administration has maintained contact with PA officials.

Maariv reported that former US secretary of state John Kerry met in London with a close

associate of PA President Mahmoud Abbas, Hussein Agha, for a long and open conversation about

a variety of topics.

Agha apparently reported details of the conversation to senior PA officials in Ramallah.

A senior PA official confirmed to Maariv that the meeting took place.

During the conversation, according to the report, Kerry asked Agha to convey a message

to Abbas and ask him to "hold on and be strong."

Tell him, he told Agha, "that he should stay strong in his spirit and play for time,

that he will not break and will not yield to President [Donald] Trump's demands."

According to Kerry, President Trump will not remain in office for a long time.

Apparently, he said that within a year there was a "good chance" that Trump would not

be in the White House.

Well, by speaking to a foreign government on behalf of the United States, Mr. Kerry

committed a felony.

According to Cornell Law School, the Logan Act is as followed:

Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United

States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse

with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence

the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation

to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of

the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years,

or both.

This section shall not abridge the right of a citizen to apply, himself or his agent,

to any foreign government or the agents thereof for redress of any injury which he may have

sustained from such government or any of its agents or subjects.

And here we go again. Yet another emotionally unhinged radical leftist has heeded the call

from the mainstream media and Rep. Maxine Waters (CA-D) to attack Trump officials and

supporters. This time it is a radical progressive Democrat, known as Martin Astrof. The 72-year-old

was arrested by Suffolk County Police in Long Island, New York for making terroristic threats

against GOP candidate Congressman Lee Zeldin, President Trump, and their supporters.

Following Maxine Water's urging, Martin Astrof threatened to kill supporters of New York

Congressman Lee Zeldin and President Trump. Astrof went to Zeldin campaign headquarters

where he threatened to kill a campaign worker and other supporters.

Astrof, police said, went to the campaign headquarters of Congressman Zeldin and became

irate with a campaign worker at approximately 11:15 a.m. After threatening to kill the campaign

worker and other supporters of the GOP representative, Astrof backed his car up in an aggressive

manner nearly striking the worker. Astrof fled the scene and was arrested shortly after

in front of his Nesconset home. According to the Star-Telegram –

"Police say an angry Long Island man nearly backed over a campaign worker moments after

saying he wanted to kill supporters of President Donald Trump and U.S. Rep. Lee Zeldin, both

Republicans. Martin Astrof was charged Friday with making

a terroristic threat and reckless endangerment. The 75-year-old was jailed pending a Saturday

arraignment. Information on his lawyer was not immediately

available. A message on his home phone was not immediately returned.

Suffolk County police say Astrof confronted campaign worker Donato Panico at Zeldin's

campaign headquarters. They say he aggressively backed up his car and nearly struck Panico

before speeding off. Zeldin has represented parts of Long Island

since 2015. He says he's received threats since Trump's election.

He tweeted on Saturday that Trump's son, Donald Jr., had reached out to make sure Panico

was OK." The New York Post reported of the incident

"He was expected to be arraigned Saturday on a felony charge of making a terroristic

threat, and on second-degree reckless endangerment charges.

Zeldin, a fervent Trump backer, decried the attack on Friday night.

political opponents," he tweeted. "Donato Panico is a great American, a supporter of

@realDonaldTrump & one of my campaign vols. He should not have been targeted like this

today for his passion & involvement."

If Bob Woodward's new book, Fear: Trump in the White House, is to be believed, and we

have very little reason not to believe it, if it's to be believed, then Donald Trump

is 100% without a doubt the dumbest person to ever serve as the president of the United

States.

Now, we have learned a lot from this book in the last two weeks, and so adding on to

the list of things we've learned from the book is that while he was president-elect,

before he was actually sworn in, Donald Trump met with his top economic advisor, Gary Cohn,

and they were discussing what to do about the economy, because Trump had promised on

the campaign trail to wipe out national debt in the next eight years.

Trump's solution, and he asked Gary Cohn why they couldn't do this, was to ... Why don't

we just print more money?

Let's just put more money, give people more money.

I mean, this is the exact thing he said.

Just run the presses.

Print money.

Just run the presses.

Print money.

That was Donald Trump's solution to get the country out of debt.

Another solution he had was well why don't we just borrow a bunch of money, and then

hold on to it, and then resell it later?

According to Woodward's book, Bob Cohn walked away from this meeting and said that Donald

Trump has no understanding of the economy whatsoever.

He's just 100% clueless.

He doesn't understand how it works, and in case you're wondering why we can't just print

more money, that would cause massive inflation and it would actually cause the value of that

money to plummet to the point of being almost worthless, which would actually increase our

debt, so yeah, you can't just print your way out of this, because if you could have, we

would have done it decades ago.

Donald Trump is an absolute moron, and I have no problem saying that, because we have plenty

of evidence to back it up.

The people who disagree with it are the ones who have no evidence to show that he's not

an absolute idiot.

The big takeaway from this book, and I've said this before and I'm going to say this

again, is that this is a man that's too stupid to be the president of the United States.

But even worse than that, it's not just the fact that he's too stupid to be the president,

but he is 100% Dunning–Kruger.

He is so incompetent that he can't even comprehend his own incompetence.

That's the level that we are dealing with here, and that's the level of incompetence

that we see among a lot of these diehard Trump supporters.

I'm not saying they're all at that level, but the people who think that this man can

do no wrong, that he is right about everything, that he's going to save the country, or even

that he cares about them, yeah, they fall into the same category as the president.

This man wants to make as much money for himself personally as possible while president.

Other than that, he doesn't care about anything, and even worse, he doesn't understand anything

that he is now forced to deal with on a daily basis.

Right Wing Watch reported that while appearing on the "Freedom Friday" radio show last

week, Pastor Carl Gallups predicted that Trump will finally expose Obama's birth certificate

as a fraud right before the 2018 midterms in order to demonstrate to voters why they

cannot support Democrats.

"There are more things going on in the headline news in the last day or two that go directly

to this birth certificate thing," Gallups said.

"Folks, I'm telling you, 2018 I think is going to be huge."

"About two months ago, I said that I think people are going to go to jail in 2018,"

he continued.

"It's just in my chest, because of stuff that I had been carrying around with me that

I knew for years, and now it is coming to light.

And guess who the president is?

Donald Trump!

Well, who is he?

He is the guy that poked Obama in the chest in 2010 and dared him to put a birth certificate

up and in early 2011, he did and it became the subject of a criminal investigation and

now it has been proven, absolutely, forensically, 100 percent to be a fabricated fraud."

This comes a month after Gallups said that Trump was "getting his ducks in a row"

Two weeks ago, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio spoke out to call Obama's birth certificate

a "phony document."

"No doubt about it, we have the evidence, I'm not going to go into all the details,

yeah, it's a phony document," Arpaio said during an interview on "Cuomo Primetime."

"We have the evidence, nobody will talk about it, nobody will look at it, and anytime

you want to come down or anybody we'll be glad to show you the evidence," Arpaio said.

"So you believe that President Obama's birth certificate is a phony?"

Chris Cuomo asked.

"No doubt about it," Arpaio said.

Donald Trump doesn't do very many things well at all.

In fact there's really only one thing that he does well and that is consistently lie

to the American public.

He doesn't lie very well.

It's obvious to anybody with half a brain that what he says is not true.

That it goes against reality.

But consistently telling lies is absolutely this man's strongest trait.

According to new reports in the month of August, Donald Trump broke his own personal record

by telling 321 lies just in that month.

August 2018 now holds the record for the most lies ever told by Donald J. Trump.

Actually he beat his previous record which he set all the way back in July, the month

before August, where he told 280 lies, which broke the previous record from June where

he told 268 lies.

Each month for the past three months he's broken his own personal record for telling

more and more and more and more and more lies.

The man averaged more than 10 lies per day in August.

321 total.

More than 10 per day!

Prior to that, throughout the entire span of his presidency, his lie total had already

been at 6.4 lies per day.

Now he is approaching actually seven full lies per day to the American public and it's

increasing.

The last week of August the man told 82 lies.

Seven days, 82 lies to the American public.

Yet he still somehow has a 37% approval rating.

I know most of us out here understand that that is a very very very very very low number

for a president but there's 37% of people out there that listen to these lies and either

believe them or don't care that he's telling them.

That's a problem.

When a third, a little over a third of this country is that painfully ignorant or willfully

ignorant?

Then yeah we've got a very big problem here in the United States.

Again, that's conversation for a different day.

The biggest issue here is why this sudden increase?

Why is it increasing exponentially at this point?

Well could be several factors.

One, Donald Trump understands that his party's probably in a little bit of trouble in the

midterms so he's trying to tell more lies, make the democrats look bad, make republicans

look better, because he thinks it's going to help them in the midterms.

The other possibility, and this is the most likely one is that he's very scared about

the upcoming investigations.

He's telling more and more lies about the special prosecutor, more and more lies about

the FBI and the DOJ, more and more lies about Hillary Clinton and all of that.

He is very concerned that something is either going to happen to him or possibly Don Jr.

Jared Kushner or anyone else but mostly because he thinks it's going to happen to him.

If he had the choice he would absolutely throw one of his children under the bus to save

himself.

We know that because just last week he did it when Don Jr. allegedly asked him to endorse

a candidate who later lost, Trump 100% blamed his son, said "I didn't even want to do it.

Don Jr.

Made me do it and now look, the guy lost."

Yeah.

He'll throw his kids under the bus in a legal investigation too.

Just wait and see.

But that's the reason these lies are increasing.

Until this investigation concludes or the other investigation up in New York concludes,

or any of the other six investigations into him conclude, we're going to continue to see

this number increase.

Best guess at this point is that the number of lies he's going to tell in September is

absolutely going to dwarf the record that he just set for the month of August.

Members of the Trump administration seem to think that the public coffers, where all the

tax money from us US tax payers go, that it's just their personal fun money to do with whatever

they want.

We saw it from Scott Pruitt.

We saw it from Ben Carson.

We've seen it from Betsy DeVos.

We've seen it from Zinke and Mnuchin, everybody in this administration just seems to think

that they don't have to follow the rules and they can spend whatever they want regardless

of the consequences and this week, we got another one of those absurd spending stories.

But this time, it involved UN ambassador Nikki Haley.

It turns out that Nikki Haley on her luxury penthouse in New York City spent $52,000 of

state department money, tax payer money on curtains.

$52,000 on curtains.

Now about half of that money, almost half of it wasn't for the actual curtains, but

for the electronic mechanisms to make them open and close automatically.

22,000 of it was for those little electronic mechanisms, almost 30,000 was for the curtains

themselves.

Now, Nikki Haley, again, she lives in this luxury apartment.

It's on First Avenue.

It's right across the street from the United Nations.

I guess technically you could argue that makes sense.

We are paying $58,000 a month for her to live there.

So I hope it's convenient for her.

But this administration has to be stopped.

This is absolute and utter insanity.

Republicans, the voters, the goddam Tea Party Movement came out in force anytime the Obama

administration spent a dollar on anything, including things that were actually helpful

for people in this country.

Yet, we're paying $58,000 for Nikki Haley to live in a luxury penthouse on First Avenue

on New York, spending $52,000 on curtains, Ben Carson spending $32,000 on plates and

silverware, Scott Pruitt spending over $40,000 on a soundproof phone booth so we can't find

out what he's saying in conversations to lobbyists, Mnuchin taking a government jet to sit on

the top of Fort Knox to watch the eclipse.

If you don't think this is insane, then there's something wrong with you as well.

The government can't function like this.

We have almost 40 million people in this country living in poverty.

We're taking money from FEMA at a time when we need them the most and this administration,

the idiots that Trump has stacked his cabinet with, don't care that we don't have very much

money.

They're trying to take it all, use it to make their offices or their government paid for

apartments, just a little bit nicer.

Meanwhile, 40 million Americans wake up every day, not even knowing if they're gonna be

able to eat today.

So enjoy your $52,000 curtains in your $58,000 a month apartment, Nikki Haley, that US tax

payers are paying for.

We'll continue going about our daily lives working our jobs and paying our taxes so that

you can sit in the lap of luxury while we struggle to afford basic prescriptions to

help keep our families alive and healthy.

I hope you understand and everybody else in the Trump administration understands how disgusting

and despicable that these spending scandals truly are.

that will affect everyone.

So, there's 12 finalists up for induction this year

at the National Toy Hall of Fame.

Let's take a look at the nominees.

They include the Sled, Chalk,

Uno, Tic-Tac-Toe, the Magic 8-Ball

and the Tudor Electronic Football.

There's also the Fisher-Price Corn Popper,

-Right. -Mm-hmm. -He-Man toys,

Pinball, American Girl doll, Tickle Me Elmo,

and then the board game Chutes and Ladders.

You can vote for your favorite until next Wednesday.

The inductees will be announced on November 8.

Yes, finally.

It's time to induct another toy into the Hall of Fame.

Now, I will admit there are some weird nominees,

uh, like Tic-Tac-Toe.

That's not a toy. It's an idea.

Right? If Tac-Tac-Toe made the cut,

then you might as well nominate (bleep)-Marry-Kill.

Which is easy-- you marry the American Girl doll,

Because when we watched this story in the office,

Now, my favorite nominee, personally,

and the only black nominee, is the Magic 8-Ball. Yes.

It's, like, one of my favorite toys ever.

And I know there's some haters out there who'll be like,

"Oh, Trevor, but sometimes it just dodges the question."

I know. That's what's magic about it.

While talking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Deputy Press Secretary Raj Shah said

that President Trump's attorneys have already approved the idea of appointing a second special

counsel to investigate the FBI and Justice Department's actions during the 2016 presidential

campaign.

"FISA warrant should it be released? and what about a second special counsel?" a

reporter asked, according to Infowars.

"Presidents attorneys have addressed this and said yes to a second special counsel,"

Shah responded.

"That document along with any other that the House Intelligence Committee chooses to

vote out of its committee through its process and all the House procedures, we would entertain

like anything else."

Shah went on to say that the White House will approach further memos, including the one

created by Democrats, in the same way they handled the memo authored by Devin Nunes.

"Which is to allow for a legal review, national security review led by the White House Counsel's

Office, and then within five days the president will make a decision about declassifying it,"

said Shah.

This comes after Congressman Trey Gowdy just spoke out to slam those who are trying to

downplay the implications of the just-released House Intelligence Committee memo.

Ever since the release of the FISA memo, which makes clear that the infamous Steele dossier

was instrumental in securing FISA warrants on former Trump adviser Carter Page, liberals

have been pointing to the memo's final section.

The conclusion of the memo states that former Trump foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos

as the impetus for the FBI's monitoring of Trump's campaign, and the anti-Trump

crowd argued this point washes out the rest of the memo's implications.

Gowdy, however, wasn't having any of it.

"It is important for the American public to know if the dossier was paid for by another

candidate, used in court pleadings, vetted before it was used, vetted after it was used,

and whether all relevant facts were shared with the tribunal approving of the FISA application,"

Gowdy wrote on Twitter, according to Daily Caller.

"While this memo raises serious concerns with the FISA process, I have been and remain

confident in the overwhelming majority of the men and women serving at the FBI and DOJ,"

Gowdy added.

"As I have said repeatedly, I also remain 100 percent confident in Special Counsel Robert

Mueller.

The contents of this memo do not – in any way – discredit his investigation."

It could be just a matter of time before DHS comes with a warrant for leaders of city and

and states that encourage illegal aliens to stay in their cities without the threat of

legal arrest and deportation.

This puts mayors like Rahm Emanuel of Chicago, DiBlasio of New York and even Gerry Brown,

Governor of California.

According to the Washington Times: Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen

confirmed Tuesday that her department has asked federal prosecutors to see if they can

lodge criminal charges against sanctuary cities that refuse to cooperate with federal deportation

efforts.

"The Department of Justice is reviewing what avenues may be available," Ms. Nielsen

told the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Her confirmation came after California's new sanctuary law went into effect Jan. 1,

severely restricting cooperation the state or any of its localities could offer.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Tom Homan says those policies put his officers

and local communities at more risk because they have to arrest illegal immigrants out

in the community.

Homan told The Washington Times last July that he wanted to see local officials charged

as complicit in human smuggling if they shielded illegal immigrants through sanctuary policies.

Mr. Homan repeated that demand in an interview with Fox News earlier this year, setting off

a firestorm of criticism.
