ABC Tries To Get FEMA Chief To Bash Trump Then He Drops Fact Bombs On Stunned Anchor

a lot to talk with the FEMA director

with Management Agency Brock long he is

joining us this morning and we really

appreciate we know how busy that you are

and to spend some time with us to update

us and more importantly update our

viewers so what is the latest where FEMA

is concerned preparing for hurricane

Florence hi good morning so hurricane

Florence is continuing to be a major

threat to the Carolinas as well as the

mid-atlantic I think what we've seen

overnight is a shift south and so I

never look at one single forecast and

make decisions based on that we often

evaluate several forecasts in a row and

as you've seen that the trend is it's

it's continuing to dip south the

question is whether it will it continue

to do that today

and this is a highly dynamic situation

that requires constant model you know

constant monitoring we have to

continually assess the situation and

make sure that we're pre-positioned

correctly and that's what we'll do today

but the message to citizens is clear

today is your last day to get out of the

areas that have been placed under

evacuation orders if you don't do it now

your time is going to be running out and

once the impacts of this storm start to

come in it's going to be very difficult

for first responders to get to you and

you're putting your life and you're

putting yourself in danger I hope people

hear your message sir George has touched

upon this the 10 million the funds that

were moved from FEMA to ice does that

affect your preparations at all the loss

of that that money no not at all it's

just an attempt to divert away from the

life safety issues at Florence it does

not come out of the disaster relief fund

it funds everything behind me that funds

everything in the field so it's a it's a

non-issue for us at this moment you're

actually from North Carolina so when you

are are telling people to to take cover

to get out to evacuate you know when you

speak of you were there for Hugo and 89

so it's not just as a FEMA director it's

also as a native of that area that

you're getting this message out that's

true I grew up in North Carolina about

five hours inland in Catawba County

North Carolina Hugo was moving at 26

miles an hour and if you know a her

typically holds its strength it loses

half its strength 12 hours after

landfall so as it was coming in it was

still a cat one over my house in North

Carolina and we had multiple trees down

we were out of power for multiple days

and this is setting up to be somewhat

like that this is going to be a big hit

with storm surge at the coast the worst

place to be is just north of the Isle on

the coast wherever the eye makes

landfall that's where you're gonna see

the ocean rise above 13 feet you're

gonna have damaging waves on top of that

but this is going to be unique from the

stand point that and you know the four

and five day forecast points is forecast

to lose its steering currents stall out

and we're looking at rain upwards of 30

inches in localized areas across the

Carolinas and so this is not something

to be taken lightly

the whole entire state of North Carolina

and South Carolina could be impacted by

this event in areas that are already

have received so so much rain so at this

hour what is your biggest concern right

now it's just we have to set citizen

expectations

here again it goes back to heed those

warnings uh this is nothing to be played

with particularly if you live in an area

that is vulnerable to storm surge where

the ocean this is wind driven water that

piles up in the Back Bay inland areas

and along the coast people do not live

and survive to tell the tale about what

their experience is like with storm

surge you know it's the most deadly part

of the hurricane that comes in it causes

the most amount of destruction but as

this moves in inland you know 15 20 30

inches of rain over a very short period

of time you're gonna see inland flooding

we ask people to stay out out of out of

flooded areas and shelter in place and

just be very careful please heed the

warnings heed the warnings a final

question this is something that Cecilia

and Jorge touched upon and it was a

statements that President Trump made

yesterday and also tweeting today

talking about the efforts after

Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico calling

it an incredible unsung success do you

agree with that look you know the effort

into Puerto Rico was a huge effort by

the federal government the problem is is

that FEMA is the only responder going in

and we were we were the first responder

and that's not the way that disaster

response to recovery works what you're

seeing set up now for Florence is that

you have

stayed strong you have strong state

government capabilities you have strong

local capabilities and that emergency

response and recovery is a team sport

it's a whole community effort it takes

everybody from neighbor helping neighbor

to the federal government going into

Puerto Rico we were the first responder

and only responder as I said and that's

not ideal so what are we doing to

correct that you know we have we've

hired over 1800 local Puerto Rican

citizens to start building a backbone of

Emergency Management at the Commonwealth

and local level that did not exist

before the storm and so the other thing

is is that we need to shift the

narrative about Puerto Rico to what are

we going to do with the 50 billion

dollars that FEMA is going to provide

Puerto Rico over the next couple of

years and billions more from other

federal government agencies Puerto Rico

has never had a better opportunity than

now to become more resilient and

economically viable and the question is

is that you know how do we go back in

build a resilient infrastructure and

that's what we're concentrating on we're

working with the governor day in and day

out to build a resilient infrastructure

the question is what are the provisions

that will be put into place that doesn't

allow Puerto Rico to let their

infrastructure crumble we face a

crumbling infrastructure it was rotted

in decayed and FEMA can't help that we

have to deal with the head of the deck

of cards that we've been dealt all right

thank you so much Brock long and and

hopefully there were lessons that were

learned and I know that it's a very busy

day for you and everyone there behind

you with me and we appreciate your time

all the best thank you and this morning

we have a team a director on door

America responding to this I want to

listen to what he had to say and then

ask you guys what you thought about it

so let's listen to that the 10 million

the funds that were moved from FEMA to

ice does that affect your preparations

at all the loss of that that money no

not at all it's just an attempt to

divert away from the life safety issues

at Florence it does not come out of the

disaster relief fund that funds

everything behind me that funds

everything in the field so it's a it's a

non-issue for us at this moment so a non

issue ally you think he's right yeah so

this is 10 billion Darce Cuse me 10

million dollars that came from

FEMA's operational budget and so that is

administration administrative cost

Senator Merkley called this a scandal

but it may actually be more of a case of

bureaucratic sausage-making

these are funds that are totally

separate from a twenty five billion

dollar disaster relief fund that also

exists that is separate from this and

tom was saying off-camera that it may

actually be a lot more money than that

and also the other thing to keep in mind

is that yes ten million dollars sounds

like a lot of money because it is a lot

of money if you're dealing with disaster

exactly I mean you consider giving that

money to Puerto Rico recovery efforts

would be a huge boon however this is

again money that was never meant to be

spent directly on disaster relief so

doesn't mean a home basket it's not

gonna get built somewhere necessary it's

not the denial of those services this is

a totally different bucket of money how

do you write advisor in this White House

is this political spinners is a real

story it's political spin the Department

of Homeland Security has an over forty

billion dollar annual budget so they put

it in perspective we're not talking

about ten million compared to the

disaster relief fund or even to FEMA's

one billion dollar appropriations we're

talking about internal moving of money

and a forty billion dollar so we get

that I think we're in agreement that may

not be the scandal here but I think

what's people what's rubbing people the

wrong way is the the comments from

yesterday the this is an unsung success

Justin you're just taking my next

question okay I think you're exactly

right yeah and and and giving himself a

plus grades from a mystery group of

people that haven't given him these

screams okay but let's take a moment

let's fill people and yesterday what

Jess ins was referring to at the White

House the president was asked about the

White House's response to the disaster

in Puerto Rico a year ago the response

to Hurricane Maria he said it was an

unsung success a huge success we're

gonna get into it more later but he's

been in a political Twitter battle with

the mayor of San Juan again what do you

guys make of this Tom was it an unsung

success in Puerto Rico yep absolutely

and here's the thing there's a lot of

empathy that we need to put behind this

answer so I'll try to do that very

quickly there's the loss of life there's

suffering that continues there were

conditions that were deplorable in

Puerto Rico that predate the storm that

require a whole lot of extra attention

that wouldn't normally accompany a storm

and its recovery but the actual

mobilization and logistics effort that

went into sending in federal and

volunteer resources into that island

right after Puerto Rico was not only a

huge effort it was unprecedented and it

was

run and it saved a lot of lives and of

course FEMA that's after actually were

current from suggesting that we've

gotten ourselves a year to date back

into a position in which things are rosy

in Puerto Rico in fact it took more than

ten years to recover after Katrina and

so there's a whole sense of moving

goalposts on what the president's trying

to take credit for and they're trying to

make him look like he's not

compassionate in this regard well I

think he didn't look too compassionate

to be honest he talks about a success

and he doesn't mention some of these

things I mean 83% of residents reported

in a kind of Russian post poll that came

out this week that their lives were

dramatically impacted by employment

setbacks worsening health problems

damage to homes pop loss of power for

over three months and that's almost

every single resident I mean the idea

that you can talk about the success even

if there was unprecedented response when

there was also so much hurt so much loss

of life is just makes him sort of look a

little cold I think that people were

responding to I think that's fair but

you know it's it's like the nomenclature

issue we just talked about a moment ago

it sounds like a ten million dollar

scandal at first until you dig into it

and learn the scale and the context of

it when you talk about the nomenclature

here we separate the mitigation of

planning from the response effort the

life-saving effort that we're going to

mobilize here for florence and

conversely what we mobilize for Puerto

Rico right after the storm and then we

talk about recovery separately the

recovery efforts are plagued with

bureaucracy and slowness and distrust

among contractors and people that spend

public money and on behalf of public

elected officials who are there to put

trust measures in place and so now at

this point it's almost a no-win game for

him but he's I think rightfully proud of

what he mobilized to respond and do the

life-saving mission in Puerto Rico and

so he took a little credit for it I

think maybe he's getting a little blame

but something that Tom said right at the

beginning of what you said was I want to

put some empathy behind the president's

statement I think just underscores that

it's got to be frustrating for the folks

that are communicating these things

within the White House to make the

points that Tom is making and finesse

the points that the president's making

I'm sorry to interrupt you but it's been

a lot of time in Puerto Rico and with

the people of Puerto Rico and with the

governor and they need to know that from

my experience the president does have

that behind-the-scenes off-camera

empathy for them he sent me down there a

lot and what their

dealing with I would report back to him

and he couldn't fathom it right so he

does have that sense and they should

hear that well I want to bring in I want

to bring in more of our colleagues

everyone's talking about this today it

rode a logical the wrong way raised a

lot of eyebrows and Democrats on Capitol

Hill Senate Minority Leader Chuck

Schumer was demanding an apology from

the president I want to bring in John

Parkinson our colleague up there John

what has the response been to the

president's comments on Puerto Rico and

our lawmakers going to continue to push

him on this you know we haven't seen

that much oversight on the response from

Puerto Rico if they're really upset is

there more they should be doing

yeah the Democrats have really been you

know condemning the president's comments

I spoke with Steny Hoyer the House

Democratic whip today he's very critical

of the president's comments that this is

an unsung success I think from the other

Democrats you know I talked to GK

Butterfield yesterday a Democrat from

North Carolina ahead of the storm and

while he's bracing for its landfall he

tells me that he's pretty confident in

what the first responders have done for

preparations he wants to get out of the

way let them do their job and then when

he sees problems come up that's when

he's going to step in and conduct that

oversight and so in the next few days

are you expecting lawmakers to be out

there be be in front of the cameras or

is this a moment where they really try

to take a back seat like you said sort

of is there a way to support local

authorities from behind the scenes yeah

you know some some Republicans and

Democrats that I talked with yesterday

down in South and North Carolina they

just told me that they want to be able

to be a means of communications to their

constituents when the first responders

need to get a message out they want to

be able to use the third reach to their

constituency to help convey that message

and they're really underscoring really

the dangers of this storm right you

might see a couple of inches of rain in

the first couple of days but this is

something that's going to have impact

for for weeks on end and they're really

concern that even just a couple of

inches could cause widespread damage and

widespread flooding

all right well John stick with us

because we're gonna pivot to politics

and I know you have no shortage of

thoughts and opinions on that but I want

to say goodbye to Tom bass our NBC News

contributor former advisor are there at

the White House and Ally Rubin thank you

so much over you gonna stick with us you

can talk politics too I can stick around

okay we're going to keep chit-chatting

but Tom thank you so much thank you god

bless you and god bless him

CNN's Big Lie About Trump Just Blew Up In Their Faces - Duration: 3:24.

CNN spent weeks lying about Donald Trump.

It was one of the worst lies CNN ever told.

But it just blew up in their face and now CNN is in big trouble.

CNN Works to Ban Trump Supporters CNN media reporters Oliver Darcy and Brian

Stelter launched a mission to ban Trump supporters from social medial.

They began their quest by targeting pro-Trump radio host Alex Jones.

Darcy began peppering social media companies with questions about why they allowed Jones

access to their platforms.

CNN claimed they were failing to fight misinformation by allowing Jones to post on their sites.

Apple, Facebook and Google all caved to CNN's censorship campaign.

They banned Jones from their platforms.

CNN celebrated this as a major victory because they need to control the flow of information

ahead of the 2018 elections.

Trump Responds to CNN's Censorship Campaign However, Donald Trump fought back.

He blasted the social media companies for censoring conservatives.

Social Media Giants are silencing millions of people.

Can not do this even if it means we must continue to hear Fake News like CNN, whose ratings

have suffered gravely.

People have to figure out what is real, and what is not, without censorship!

Google search results for "Trump News" shows only the viewing/reporting of Fake News

Media.

In other words, they have it RIGGED, for me & others, so that almost all stories & news

is BAD.

Fake CNN is prominent.

Republican/Conservative & Fair Media is shut out.

Illegal?

Google search results for "Trump News" shows only the viewing/reporting of Fake News

Media.

Fake CNN is prominent.

Republican/Conservative & Fair Media is shut out.

Illegal? results on "Trump News" are from National

Left-Wing Media, very dangerous.

Google & others are suppressing voices of Conservatives and hiding information and news

that is good.

They are controlling what we can & cannot see.

This is a very serious situation-will be addressed!

CNN Lies About Trump CNN's Darcy and Stelter began to lie about

Trump.

They falsely claimed there was no evidence social media companies were banning conservatives.

But Vice News ran a report showing Twitter was "shadow banning" famous conservatives.

They found Twitter was hiding their accounts in the search menu.

In the 2016 campaign, whistleblowers revealed that Facebook moderators refused to put conservative

sites in the trending news section.

But CNN's lie about social media censorship fell apart.

Alex Jones appeared on Capitol Hill and confronted CNN's Darcy.

In the video, Darcy clearly lies when he claims he never pushed for Jones to be banned.

Alex Jones has been officially suspended from Twitter.

Alex Jones was banned from Twitter reportedly in response to posting video from this exchange

from yesterday with a CNN reporter Twitter reacted to the video and banned Jones

for life.

They wrote: Today, we permanently suspended @realalexjones

and @infowars from Twitter and Periscope.

We took this action based on new reports of Tweets and videos posted yesterday that violate

our abusive behavior policy, in addition to the accounts' past violations.

While Twitter banned Jones, Louis Farrakhan and Hamas still have active accounts.

The social media giant took no action against them.

CNN was lying.

Trump was telling the truth.

President Trump Just Seized Obama Slush Fund And Gives Millions Back To Those Who Deserve It! - Duration: 6:06.

President Trump Just Seized Obama Slush Fund And Gives Millions Back To Those Who Deserve

It!

President Trump has been busily cleaning up Barack Obama's messes ever since he got

in office.

He's creating jobs, cutting taxes, nixing regulations and, in general, giving more control

back to American citizens instead of ceding it to the federal government.

That's what a president is elected to do.

In July, the Trump administration announced that it would end what it sees as an illegal

Obama-era rule that allows unions to collect dues from state subsidies intended for home

health workers, including family caregivers.

It acted as a de facto slush fund and now President Trump is giving back millions of

dollars that are owed to these workers instead of the unions.

Federal law is supposed to prohibit states from skimming money from Medicaid payments

bound for independent in-home personal care workers.

But thanks to the Obama administration, back in 2014, they created an exception, stating

that states could divert some of that Medicaid money to unions.

The flawed reasoning was that these workers effectively were public-sector employees.

That's quite a reach and in my viewpoint, not lawful or moral.

There are eleven liberal states out there that have utilized this provision to raise

more than $200 million a year for unions by taking it from health workers who often didn't

even know they were doing it, according to top GOP officials.

That's called 'theft' in my book. This would include states such as California, Massachusetts,

New Jersey, and Illinois.

Illinois is a blue state that has been at the center of recent Supreme Court rulings

stripping power from organized labor.

None of these states should surprise you in the least that they are doing this kind of

thing.

Republicans have been quick to point out that the Obama administrative exception violates

the federal Social Security Act.

It also violates the rights of home health workers.

President Trump is attempting to rectify this.

His decision means that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) have already begun

the formal process of proposing a new rule to roll back the Obama regulation. The law

provides that Medicaid providers must be paid directly and cannot have part of their payments

diverted to third parties outside of a few very specific exceptions," Tim Hill, the

acting director of the Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services, said in a formal statement.

"This proposed rule is intended to ensure that providers receive their complete payment,

and any circumstances in which a state does divert part of a provider's payment must

be clearly allowed under the law."

And if I read this correctly, notification must be given as well.

Republicans have long sought to put an end to the Obama-era rule, which many see as unethical

and illegal.

Wisconsin GOP Sen. Ron Johnson, who chairs the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs

Committee, had urged the Trump administration to take action on the issue earlier this year.Johnson

released a statement that proclaims in part that he would continue to monitor Medicaid

funding himself.

I believe him and thank goodness someone is doing this.

"Union dues skimming diverts Medicaid funds from the very people that the program is supposed

to help," Johnson (R-WI) said.

"I applaud the Trump Administration for taking the first steps to rein in this abuse.

My committee will continue to conduct oversight of CMS's stewardship of Medicaid funds so

that American taxpayers can have confidence the funds flow to those in need."

In 2014, there was a Supreme Court Ruling that home health workers couldn't constitutionally

be required to pay union agency fees because they were not public-sector workers.

It didn't stop the illegal dues skimming that has plagued the system.

Perhaps that will be rectified now. This is just the latest bad news for the unions out

there.

In June, the Supreme Court swatted them again in Janus v. AFSCME, which held that nonunion

public workers could not be forced to pay agency fees to public-sector unions, either.

From Fox News:

"It had long been illegal for unions to force non-members to pay for their explicitly

political activity, but the Supreme Court's ruling extended that prohibition to the payment

of the agency fees, saying even those expenditures amounted to unconstitutionally coerced participation

in the political activity of collective bargaining.

"In a statement, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) called the Trump administration's

move a "broad, coordinated attack against working people," and said it would hurt

minorities.

"The proposed CMS rule, combined with the Janus ruling, are two more efforts by the

Trump Administration and billionaire-funded special interest groups to silence a workforce

comprised of 90 percent women, most of whom are women of color, and to reduce the power

of working people by making it more difficult for them to join together in a union to fight

to ensure that our loved ones can get the care they need to live at home with dignity,"

read a statement by Melody Benjamin, who SEIU said is a home care worker."

President Trump has done many good things since he has been in office.

But one of the best, in my opinion, is checking the power, graft, and corruption of the unions.

SEIU can cry into their beer all they want, Trump is going to fix this.

Puerto Rico Responds To Trump By Calling Him Worthless And Crazy - Duration: 2:07.

rainwater, this wouldn't even be

the tragedy it is now.

But you're right, George

Washington university, the

school of public health using

their best science, using death

certificates came up with the

number of 2975 putting it on par

with 9/11, making it the

deadliest storm in American

history.

That's the big picture thing.

I spent time this morning with

one very personal story.

If you remember our coverage

from a year ago you remember

Miguel and Deanna.

Their home had nearly been

-- completely crushed by a

falling detention line.

They said good-bye to each

other, this couple of 50 years

of marriage.

But they survived.

Miguel had half a vial of

insulin in a powerless

refrigerator.

The V.A. Saw the report and got

him insulin.

But a few months later the

stress, the fumes from the

generator, Miguel passed away on

their 50th anniversary.

I went to check on his widow

Deanna to see how she is doing.

She told me FEMA sent her a

check for $1700 but it was in

her husband's name so she gave

it back.

They offered 20 reimburse her

for the funeral and she denied

it.

There's no profit motive.

She's most emotional about the

fact that the V.A. Gave her

husband of 50 years a military

honor at his funeral.

They gave her the flag.

She teared up when she talked

about that because ultimately

that's all she wanted, was the

respect deserved to a Vietnam

veteran.

And read I read her president

trump's tweet today, she said

how could he say something like

that?

How could he doubt that so many

people died?

It's there, everyone knows it.

He has no respect for people's

emotions.

He's worthless, he's crazy.

And these are words from a woman

very soft spoken, abuela, a

grandmother who I'm sure does

not say these things lightly but

for her it's not about getting

her husband's name on the

official death toll, which it

isn't.

Miguel, you could argue, should

be on that list.

It should be 2976 if we include

Nevada professor shoots himself to protest President Trump - Duration: 3:16.

An anti-Trump sociology professor at the College of Southern Nevada shot himself on campus last month as way to protest the president, police said

Mark J.Bird, 69, was found bloodied outside a bathroom in the Charleston campus K building with a self-inflicted gunshot wound the morning of the second day of classes August 28

Inside the bathroom, was the .22-caliber handgun he used as well as a spent shell casing

Bird also left a $100 bill taped to the bathroom mirror with a note that read: 'For the janitor,' according to the Review Journal

One college employee, who was holding Bird's hand while trying to calm him in the moments after the shooting, told investigators that Bird said he wanted to protest Trump

However, the police report did not elaborate about any specifics. He was treated for his wound and later charged with possessing a dangerous weapon on school property, discharging a gun within a prohibited structure and carrying a concealed weapon without a permit

An alert about the incident was sent to all students and faculty around 9am that morning

CSN President Federico Zaragoza wrote in a newsletter: 'I appreciate all of the expressions of concern and interest, and I pledge to keep everyone updated should the situation change

' Bird, for whatever reason, was not identified in the newsletter.CSN faculty union president Robert Manis told the Review Journal: 'They never really told the students much about it except that it was resolved on the actual day of the shooting

'When you don't give the full details, then rumors go crazy. It's unfortunate because it made the students and faculty very afraid and allowed rumors to proliferate

' Bird is scheduled to appear for his initial court hearing September 17.He is currently employed as an emeritus faculty member at the community college

BREAKING: Senate Released Unredacted FBI Text Messages – Proves Trump Was Right Entire Time! - Duration: 6:11.

BREAKING: Senate Released Unredacted FBI Text Messages – Proves Trump Was Right Entire

Time!

We are now getting reports on Monday the United States released over 500 pages of Spygate

scandal information to the public and once again internet sleuths have unearthed the

damning proof that the FBI was indeed engaged in Spygate long before they officially admitted

they had been.

As previously reported, according to far left wing "news" outlet Politico, Comey confirmed

back in March of 2017, while under oath, that the FBI investigation into the fake Trump

Russia scandal started in July 2016.

But a new timeline now suggests that the FBI illegal probe was, in fact, going on during

the peak of an alleged Russian campaign to destabilize the U.S. presidential race which

left wing outlets now claim actually helped elect President Donald Trump.

A text message released yesterday by the US Senate showed words that were redacted when

the FBI released the same texts long ago.

And as was originally suspected the texts show evidence of collusion and wrongdoing

by Obama's FBI, and Obama himself.

Some of the additional texts released yesterday were from the corrupt FBI investigator Peter

Strzok to corrupt FBI attorney Lisa Page also known as "The Lovebirds."

They state the following:

https://twitter.com/Nick_Falco/status/1003673455496052736

Here is more on the FBI "Lovebirds" and adulterers Peter Strzok and Lisa Page via

Fox News:

"Newly revealed text messages between FBI paramours Peter Strzok and Lisa Page include

an exchange about preparing talking points for then-FBI Director James Comey to give

to President Obama, who wanted "to know everything we're doing."

The message, from Page to Strzok, was among thousands of texts between the lovers reviewed

by Fox News.

The pair both worked at one point for Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe of alleged

collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Page wrote to Strzok on Sept. 2, 2016, about prepping Comey because "potus wants to know

everything we're doing."

According to a newly released Senate report, this text raises questions about Obama's

personal involvement in the Clinton email investigation.

In texts previously revealed, Strzok and Page have shown their disdain for Republicans in

general, as well as Trump, calling him a "f—ing idiot," among other insults.

Among the newly disclosed texts, Strzok also calls Virginians who voted against then-FBI

Deputy Director Andrew McCabe's wife for a state Senate seat "ignorant hillbillys."

That text came from Strzok to Page on Nov. 4, 2015, the day after Jill McCabe lost a

hotly contested Virginia state Senate election.

Strzok said of the result, "Disappointing, but look at the district map.

Loudon is being gentrified, but it's still largely ignorant hillbillys.

Good for her for running, but curious if she's energized or never again."

Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., along with majority staff from the Senate Homeland Security and

Governmental Affairs Committee, is releasing the texts, along with a report titled, "The

Clinton Email Scandal and the FBI's Investigation of it."

The newly uncovered texts reveal a bit more about the timing of the discovery of "hundreds

of thousands" of emails on former Congressman Anthony Weiner's laptop, ultimately leading

to Comey's infamous letter to Congress just days before the 2016 presidential election.

On Sept. 28, 2016, Strzok wrote to Page, "Got called up to Andy's [McCabe] earlier.. hundreds

of thousands of emails turned over by Weiner's atty to sdny [Southern District of New York],

includes a ton of material from spouse [Huma Abedin].

Sending team up tomorrow to review… this will never end."

According to the Senate report, this text message raises questions about when FBI officials

learned of emails relevant to the Hillary Clinton email investigation on the laptop

belonging to Weiner, the husband to Clinton aide Huma Abedin.

It was a full month later, on Oct. 28, 2016, when Comey informed Congress that, "Due

to recent developments," the FBI was re-opening its Clinton email investigation.

"In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails

that appear to be pertinent to the investigation.

I am writing to inform you that the investigative team briefed me on this yesterday…"

Comey said at the time.

The question becomes why Comey was only informed by his investigative team on Oct. 27, if the

Clinton emails on Weiner's laptop were discovered by Sept. 28, at the latest.

Other texts show more examples of the officials' opposition to Trump.

On Election Day 2016, Strzok wrote, "OMG THIS IS F***ING TERRIFYING."

Page replied, "Omg, I am so depressed."

Later that month, on Nov. 13, 2016, Page wrote, "I bought all the president's men.

Figure I need to brush up on watergate."

The next day, Nov. 14, 2016, Page wrote, "God, being here makes me angry.

Lots of high fallutin' national security talk.

Meanwhile we have OUR task ahead of us."

Page's meaning here is unclear, but according to the Senate report, coupled with Strzok's

Aug. 15 text about an "insurance policy," further investigation is warranted to find

out what actions the two may have taken.

The last text is from Page to Strzok, and comes on June 23, 2017, when she wrote, "Please

don't ever text me again."

It's unclear whether she was mad at her friend, or if she suddenly became aware that

they, and their thousands of texts, had been discovered."

Now keep in mind this is only the second day we have been able to see the 500 pages of

documents being released by the US Senate.

I bet if we give is a few more days, who knows what's in there and what today's Senate

Hearing with corrupt Obama FBI agent Bill Preistap will reveal.

Maybe we will get to see Comey, Hillary, and Barack Hussein Obama behind bars, and there

would be no better person to put them there than President Donald Trump, who wouldn't

pardon them in a million years!

Trump Is Now DENYING That 3,000 Puerto Ricans Died In Hurricane Maria - Duration: 4:08.

It almost seems impossible that Donald Trump could sink any lower than he already has on

Twitter with insulting people's intelligence, going after their personal appearances, things

like that, but this morning he actually managed to outdo himself when he said one of the most

horrid and disgusting things that he has ever said since become President of the United

States.

Here it is, spread out over two tweets.

"3000 people did not die in the two hurricanes that hit Puerto Rico.

When I left the Island, AFTER the storm had hit, they had anywhere from 6 to 18 deaths.

As time went by it did not go up by much.

Then, a long time later, they started to report really large numbers, like 3000..."

".....This was done by the Democrats in order to make me look as bad as possible when I

was successfully raising Billions of Dollars to help rebuild Puerto Rico.

If a person died for any reason, like old age, just add them onto the list.

Bad politics.

I love Puerto Rico!"

So Donald Trump is telling us that his negligence, the callous attitude toward those American

citizens in Puerto Rico, they're not actually dead.

They didn't die.

It wasn't storm related if they did die.

I'm sure that's consolation to all the people who buried their 2,975 relatives, loved ones,

friends, families, whatever.

Maybe they can just dig them up now because apparently they didn't die.

I guess they should go check on them.

It's true that 3,000 people didn't die in the storm, they died from what happened after

the storm.

And what happened after the storm is 100 percent Donald Trump's fault.

As the leader of the Federal Government, which makes him of government organizations like

FEMA, whose job it is to make sure we have proper disaster responses in areas like Puerto

Rico, yeah that is your fault.

They didn't have clean water, they had water filled with bacteria.

They didn't have proper infrastructure in place, and yes that is the responsibility

of the U.S.

Government to make sure that that can happen.

Hospitals were overloaded.

People who had regular illnesses could not get in because of all the people injured from

the hurricane.

Any death like that is hurricane related.

'Cause it would not have happened had the hurricane not come to the island.

The President right now is trying to deny reality and not just deny that it exists,

but also blame Democrats for what is allegedly a lie that almost 3,000 people died.

The man is absolutely insane, as is anyone out there defending anything that he says.

You're insane.

You are and so is this man.

He is not fit to be the President of the United States, not by a long shot.

This tweet is absolutely abhorrent.

Especially as we have a massive hurricane bearing down on the United States right now

and the people in that path of that storm need to understand that once the wind goes

away, once the flood waters recede, which could take weeks, President Trump, FEMA, all

the people that you think are going to come help you, they won't be there.

You're gonna have to rely on aid and generosity from your fellow American citizens.

And as for the claim that Donald Trump helped raise billions of dollars for Puerto Rico,

that is an outright lie.

There is no evidence whatsoever to back that up.

There are no campaign speeches, there were no rallies, there were no fundraisers, there

were no tweets, there is nothing to indicate that this man did anything to raise any personal

money or get people to help donate to Puerto Rico.

He is an absolute liar, he is a con man, and at this point it's pretty safe to say that

this man is absolutely insane.

TRUMP SENDS IN THE FEDS – SANCTUARY CITY LEADERS ARRESTED - Duration: 11:25.

TRUMP SENDS IN THE FEDS – SANCTUARY CITY LEADERS ARRESTED

BREAKING: Libby Schaaf, the liberal mayor of Oakland, California, has found herself

in hot water after it was revealed she may have committed a felony over the weekend when

she warned illegal aliens in her city that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)

agents were about to conduct raids in the area.

"I am sharing this information publicly not to panic our residents but to protect

them," Schaaf said in a statement Saturday night, adding that she did not know the details

about when the ICE raids would take place.

Hot Air reported that Shaaf went on to give out a link to a Centro Legal de la Raza's

website which offers information about legal rights and options for people facing detention.

"We understand ICE has used activity rumors in the past as a tactic to create fear; our

intent is for our community to go about their daily lives without fear, but resiliency and

awareness," said Schaaf.

Schaaf claimed that Oakland schools, police officers and business owners are prohibited

from assisting ICE agents.

"Oakland is a city of law-abiding immigrants and families who deserve to live free from

the constant threat of arrest and deportation," she said.

"I believe it is my duty and moral obligation as Mayor to give those families fair warning

when that threat appears imminent."

However, according to the Cornell Law School, Schaaf may have violated federal law in doing

this:

8 U.S. Code § 1324 (a) (1) (A) (iii)

Any person who, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered,

or remains in the United States in violation of law, conceals, harbors, or shields from

detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, such alien in any

place, including any building or any means of transportation shall be punished as provided

in subparagraph (B).

8 U.S. Code § 1324 (a) (1) (B) (ii)

A person who violates subparagraph (A) shall, for each alien in respect to whom such a violation

occurs in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(ii), (iii), (iv), or (v)(II), be fined

under title 18, imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.
