As the political power plays continue to ramp up into the 2018 midterm elections and the
battle to drain the swamp in Washington D.C. goes white-hot, President Donald Trump vows
to campaign furiously for Republican candidates.
He has even suggested that he could potentially show up on the campaign trail as much as seven
days a week.
President Trump stated in an interview with Sean Hannity on his radio show – "I am
going to work very hard.
I will go six or even seven days a week when we are 60 days out, and I will be campaigning
for all of these great people that do have a difficult race, and we think we are going
to bring them over the line."
President Trump has already ramped up his calendar in preparation for busy campaign
season in the highly contentious 2018 midterm elections as Republicans work to make sure
they maintain control of both the House and the Senate.
The president has already increased his campaign activity for Republicans in preparation, hosting
a rally in Florida on Tuesday and a rally in Pennsylvania on Thursday.
President Trump is urging his supporters to go to the polls and support Republicans to
assist with all hands on deck – "Making America Great Again" and assist him in passing
his America first agenda.
Yet the Resistance is alive and well, prepared to do anything in its power to flip control
of Congress back to the Democrats in November by any means necessary.
Using those anonymous sources they are so famous for the New York Times ran a recent
op-ed by an anonymous "senior official in the Trump administration" that has drawn
harsh rebuke from both sides of the aisle.
Everyone from President Trump himself to Glenn Greenwald to the Los Angeles Times has weighed
in highly critical of the author that attempts to use the newspaper to subvert the sitting
president.
The author claims to be actively working against President Trump in collusion with other senior
officials in what they call a "resistance inside the Trump administration," has now
been labeled everything from a coward, to treasonous, to nonexistent by a variety of
individuals from all political spectrums.
President Trump questioned whether the mystery official truly even exists at all and if they
do, the NYT should then reveal the author's identity as a matter of national security.
Does the so-called "Senior Administration Official" really exist, or is it just the
Failing New York Times with another phony source?
If the GUTLESS anonymous person does indeed exist, the Times must, for National Security
purposes, turn him/her over to government at once!

Instant backlash ensued from all sides.
Jessica Roy of the Los Angeles Times, definitely not a publication that would be considered
to be friendly to President Trump by any stretch of the imagination, writes in an op-ed which
appeared mere hours after the NYT piece – "No, anonymous Trump official, you are not 'part
of the resistance.'
You are a coward" For context, the full quote in the LA Times
states – "If they really believe there's a need
to subvert the president to protect the country, they should be getting this person out of
the White House.
But they are too cowardly and afraid of the possible implications.
They hand-wave the notion thusly: "Given the instability many witnessed, there
were early whispers within the cabinet of invoking the 25th Amendment, which would start
a complex process for removing the president.
But no one wanted to precipitate a constitutional crisis."
