Trump says U.S. to be flexible on tariffs to true friends - Duration: 2:35.

U.S. President Donald Trump has signed an executive order imposing 25 percent tariffs

on steel imports and ten percent on aluminum.

As he previously alluded to, Mexico and Canada are likely to be exempt pending the outcome

of ongoing negotiations on NAFTA.

Park Jong-hong reports.

In the end, President Trump stuck to his guns.

This despite fierce protests from trading partners and even collective concern from

members of the Republican party who claim the measures would weaken the competitiveness

of U.S. industries.

"Today, I'm defending America's national security by placing tariffs on foreign imports of steel

and aluminum.

We will have a 25 percent tariff on foreign steel and 10 percent on foreign aluminum when

the product comes across our borders."

But he held off a decision on Canada and Mexico saying that negotiations are ongoing on NAFTA.

He said if the U.S. strikes a deal, there will be no tariffs for the two countries but

if talks fall apart, the U.S. will terminate NAFTA and start all over again.

He did say that he's optimistic a deal would be reached.

In any case, Trump said 15 days remain until the tariffs take effect and exemptions will

be made on a case-by-case basis considering "fairness on trade."

President Trump spoke at length about how the U.S. industry had been taken advantage

of over the years.

He said millions of U.S. workers had been laid off as plants closed all across America

ravaged by the unfair trade practice called dumping.

He said this was not just a disaster for the economy but also national security.

In the future he added there will be many cases of reciprocal tax which is virtually

a tit for tat in tariffs between trading partners.

The tariff decision deals a blow to Korea which will have to come to grips with Trump's

move.

Seoul's Trade Minister Kim Hyun-jong has been meeting with Congressional and Senate leaders

pitching the message was that Korean steel is not a threat to the U.S. steel industry

and is actually contributing to the U.S. economy through local investments.

In the next 15 days, Korea plans to make a final pitch to try to minimize the tariff

impact.

Donald Trump Openly Charges Barack Obama For Criminal Conspiracies Against Him - Duration: 3:06.

Donald Trump Openly Charges Barack Obama For Criminal Conspiracies Against Him

For quite a while, the liberal media has been pushing the fake Russia narrative.

They want you to believe that Donald Trump worked with Russia to steal the election.

There's been no evidence.

But we still have to put up with a bogus investigation.

We are learning something much different, however.

Details have come out that the previous administration was violating the law.

They were using the discredited dossier of Christopher Steele's to justify warrants

against Trump's team.

Now Trump is firing back at former President Obama and listing the charges that Barack

committed against him.

The actions that Trump is charging on Obama are nothing short of shocking.

His words will no doubt spark new demands from the American people.

From Daily Caller:President Donald Trump took aim at the Department of Justice and FBI's

decision to investigate members of his campaign during the 2016 presidential election with

a Monday morning tweet…

Trump however has consistently questioned the FBI and Justice Department's investigations

into his campaign and has decried efforts as a "witch hunt" to prove collusion with

the Russian government.

The president has also repeatedly knocked his predecessor for not taking more forceful

action against the Russian government's efforts to meddle in the 2016 presidential

election.

The President and his allies have pointed to a recent memo from the Republican committee

staff on the House Intelligence Committee which alleges broad abuse of FISA authority

to spy on former Trump campaign staffer Carter Page.

The memo showed that the FBI used the politically motivated opposition research document, known

as the Steele dossier, as justification to obtain a surveillance warrant. It doesn't

matter who you supported in 2016.

Obama had no right to interfere in the election.

He used his power to spy on the Trump administration, based on zero evidence.

He violated the U.S. Constitution, in the hopes of finding dirt to smear the Trump campaign.

All to give 'Crooked Hillary' the win.

That sounds like collusion to me.

Sounds like a violation of our democracy too.

Yet where is the investigation?

For over a year we had to put up with Mueller's bogus case.

Nothing has proven that Trump did anything wrong.

But we have evidence that Obama did worse things than Watergate.

He abused numerous government agencies to spy on Americans.

So why isn't that administration in hot water?

It's up to us to demand justice.

We Americans must not let Obama and his cronies get away with their crimes.

We must demand our leaders to launch investigations that get to the truth of the matter.

Trump says U.S. to be flexible on tariffs to true friends - Duration: 2:37.

U.S. President Donald Trump has signed an executive order imposing tariffs of 25 percent

on steel and ten percent on aluminum.

But, backtracking on an earlier "no exceptions" stance, Trump has decided to grant an exemption

to Mexico and Canada... for now.

That could change, though, depending on the ongoing negotiations on the North American

Free Trade Agreement, NAFTA.

Park Jong-hong reports.

In the end, President Trump stuck to his guns.

This despite fierce protests from trading partners and even collective concern from

members of the Republican party who claim the measures would weaken the competitiveness

Expert's take on Trump agreeing to meet Kim Jong-un by May - Duration: 7:29.

Expert's take on Trump agreeing to meet Kim Jong-un by May

Let's get an expert's take on the extraordinary events of the past few hours.

I'm joined in the studio by Woo Jung-yeop, Research Fellow at the Sejong Institute.

Thanks for joining us.

Are you surprised North Korea offered a summit so quickly and that President Trump accepted

right away?

And as a sub-question to that -- considering Trump wants

to meet by May,... do

you think all the pre-summit groundwork can

be done

in that timeframe?

How do you explain this sudden and unexpected turnaround by Kim Jong-un,... a leader Trump

has ridiculed as "little Rocketman" and against whom he has threatened "fire and fury"?

Do you think North Korea has an ulterior motive for offering this summit out of the blue?

Surely Kim Jong-un has no intention of actually giving up his nuclear bombs and ballistic

missiles...

How much credit do you give President Trump for forcing North Korea back to the dialogue

table?

His supporters will say his policy of maximum pressure has worked

where the Obama policy of strategic patience failed.

And what of South Korea now.

President Moon and Kim Jong-un are going to meet for their own historic summit

at

the end

of April.

Do these latest developments change the dynamic

of

the Moon-Kim summit?

We appreciate for your insights and it would be great to have you back in studio when the

summits (hopefully) happen in April and May.

Thank you.

S. Korean official says Trump will meet with Kim Jong-un by May - Duration: 3:16.

South Korea's National Security Director in Washington to discuss the outcome of his meeting

with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un made a rare podium announcement at the White House

following his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump.

Breaking news out of Washington: let's go live to our chief Blue House correspondent

Moon Connyoung.

Connyoung.

One startling news after another from South Korea's presidential envoys who traveled to

the North earlier this week to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

They flew to Washington hinting more surprise was ahead... and we're learning - surprise

indeed.

South Korea's National Security Director Chung Eui-yong

delivered North Korean leader Kim's eagerness to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump on

denuclearization...

President Trump apparently accepted... even giving a timeline.

U.S. President Donald Trump told South Korea's Chung that he will meet with North Korea's

Kim Jong-un by May to achieve permanent denuclearization.

Now remember, that's not a whole lot of time.

The next few weeks will be a pretty dramatic one as the first summit between the leaders

of South and North Korea in over a decade is scheduled for late April.

So, we're assuming a Kim, Trump meeting to immediately follow that.

It is a dramatic turn in events.

Did we see this coming at all?

Well, President Trump apparently stopped by the White House press room - mind you, his

first time EVER - to give the reporters a heads up saying the South Korean delegation

there to meet him will make a "major announcement" concerning North Korea at 7 pm, eastern...

that's 9 a.m. here in Korea.

The actual announcement came around 20-25 minutes after the hour - so just moments ago,

really.

South Korea's presidential Blue House is devising a statement of its own on the latest development...

we're expecting the White House to also release an official stance... so we'll have more details

and updates for you in our later newscast, Mark.

Sean Hannity: Liberal Media Bashes Trump For His Tough Talk On Fat And Short Rocket Man(VIDEO)!!! - Duration: 11:03.

Sean Hannity: Liberal Media Bashes Trump For His Tough Talk On Fat And Short Rocket Man

there's a Fox News Alert major breaking news tonight a huge foreign policy win

for president Trump little Rocketman blinks now the president's tough

rhetoric his bold action his severe sanctions they appear to be working

tonight President Trump is accepting an invitation to meet with the North Korean

dictator Kim jong-un by May and Pyongyang is agreeing to stop all

nuclear and missile tests while these talks are under way and the sanctions

they will continue Plus this is a huge development the lawyer for the uranium

one informant is confirming tonight just moments ago that in fact the FBI field

office in Little Rock Arkansas is in fact investigating the Clinton

Foundation now this comes after Democrats tried to discredit the FBI

informant with deceptive leaks we'll have a lot more on tonight's breaking

news opening monologue

alright the media liberals they're looking like complete fools tonight

because they are once again turning out to be completely wrong about President

Trump the commander-in-chief's leadership is now leading to a major

foreign policy breakthrough as it relates to North Korea this is what we

call peace through strength in action the president is causing little

Rocketman to back down now it's something the President Barack Obama

other presidents all failed to do no president Trump's tough words his

actions are now starting to yield positive results and hopefully this will

end in the protection of America and of course the world and the region in

particular now Trump's extremely tough sanctions they have now backed Kim

jong-un into a corner he was forced to capitulate now it's a long way to go

we've got to be cautious trust but verify but meeting with Kim jong-un

under the pretense that he will stop all nuclear missile testing this is a good

start now for months president Trump has been putting immense pressure on North

Korea take a look best not make any more

threats to the United States they will be met with fire fury and frankly power

the likes of which this has never seen before frankly the people

that were questioning that statement was it too tough

maybe it wasn't tough enough they've been doing this in our country for a

long time for many years and it's about time that somebody stuck up for the

people of this country and for the people of other countries and what

they've been getting away with is a tragedy

and it can't be allowed if anything happens to Guam there's going to be big

big trouble in North Korea he does anything with respect to Guam or

anyplace else that's an American territory or an American ally he will

truly regret it and he will regret it fast Rocketman is

on a suicide mission for himself and for his regime now of course the media mock

the media ridicule President Trump for daring to stand up to a brutal murdering

dictator you may remember this he wasn't a president he was a preacher up there

given his dark world view it's really frightening to hear an American

president talked about obliterating any other country the rhetoric was was was

irresponsible it was put many world leaders on edge

and frankly it was contradictory in many many places I'd call it a simplistic

axis of evil speech on steroids I mean one more time you know simplistic axis

of evil on steroids just go down in the history of weird UN speeches it is

certainly an unusual speech a weird speech Rocketman insulting kim jung-han

they would have rather defeat powd and kissed the ring of Kim jong-un or kissed

the ring of the mullahs in Iran look the reason the media did this is because

they prefer the policies of Barack Obama and Bill Clinton those are policies of

appeasement now the media wanted president Trump to get on bended knee

and beg please be nice to us but of course President Trump he didn't do that

he didn't cave he didn't bow to the liberal pressure and he stood firm as

they attacked him until in fact Kim jong-un started backing down and that

appears to now be happening and of course the destroyed Trump media they

have been embarrassingly wrong about the entire

situation just last month they were mocking member vice president Mike Pence

for not acknowledging Kim jong-un's sister at the Olympics here's how the

left the Liberals reacted and what they said back then vp mike pence was in the

stands at the olympics where he seemed to be making a silent protest by

remaining seated when North and South Korean athletes entered the stadium

under the Korean unification flag now was this the place to make that

statement or you just forget to get up was it Mike Pence said that it was

inappropriate to make political statements at sporting events if you're

in Korea you need to stand up remember the media they also were fawning over

Kim jong-un's sister who was part of a family that slaughters thousands of

their own citizens puts thousands more in death camps and millions are starving

but the truth doesn't matter to the media in this country as usual they have

been praising evil dictators for decades very sad and as for this upcoming

meeting between Kim jong-un no president Trump is showing fearlessness and

accepting the invitation I can assure you this the president Trump he will not

be repeating the same failed policies of appeasement we can go back to the 1990s

then President Bill Clinton remember he tried to bribe North Korea with billions

of dollars in energy subsidies in exchange for a promise that Kim

jong-un's father Kim jong-il would give up his nuclear program Clinton then went

on national TV patting himself on the back and saying this is a good deal for

the American people and they ended up getting nukes anyway you may remember

this is a good deal for the United States North Korea will freeze and then

dismantle its nuclear program South Korea and our other allies will be

better protected the entire world will be safer as we slow the spread of

nuclear weapons South Korea with support from Japan and other nations will bear

most of the cost of providing North Korea with fuel to make up for the

nuclear energy it losing and they will pay for an

alternative power system for North Korea that will allow them to produce

electricity while making it much harder for them to produce nuclear weapons the

United States and international inspectors will carefully monitor North

Korea to make sure it keeps its commitments only as it does so will

North Korea fully join the community of nations

well Clinton was wrong he was naive he was dumb and he was gullible because

North Korea took the money broke their promises and then they got nuclear

weapons it's a big reason why we find ourselves in the situation we were in

today and as for President Barack Obama while he borrowed from President

Clinton's failed appeasement playbook he gave the radical Iranian mullahs of Iran

or vowing to destroy America vowing to destroy Israel threatening to you know

destroy and wipe off the face of the earth Israel and burning American flags

and Israeli flags Obama gave them a hundred and fifty billion dollars and he

still allowed them to spin their centrifuges

here's Obama here's him capitulating to Tehran take a look today after two years

of negotiations the United States together our international partners has

achieved something that decades of animosity has not a comprehensive

long-term deal with Iran that will prevent it from obtaining a nuclear

weapon this deal demonstrates that American diplomacy can bring about real

and meaningful change change that makes our country and the world safer and more

secure this deal is also in line with a tradition of American leadership another

naive failed policy because just like Clinton Obama's disastrous deal is

doomed to fail they're still threatening to wipe Israel off the face of the earth

and destroy the United States of America and by the way a hundred and fifty

billion of your tax dollars go to people that hate us and we'll never make a deal

with us under those circumstances beyond naive it never works appeasement never

works now President Trump and his upcoming

meeting now from now until May the world will probably be a little bit safer the

media should be giving presidents from for that and the White House is making

clear tonight that until this meeting happens the Trump administration will

not be easing up on North Korea White House press secretary sandesara Sanders

put out a statement it reads quote President Trump greatly appreciates the

nice words of the South Korean delegation and president moon he will

accept the invitation to meet with Kim jong-un at a place in time to be

determined we look forward to the denuclearization of North Korea in the

meantime all sanctions and maximum pressure must remain and includes joint

field operations it also means that if Kim jong-un dares to resume conducting

nuclear missile tests then talks are off the table this is exactly what Ronald

Reagan said when he said trust but verify and his trust but verify policy

do I trust Kim jong-un nope do I trust North Korea and the regime absolutely

not but the president's strength made this meeting possible made today

possible made it possible for a better tomorrow and I can assure you this he's

not going to be bringing bribes to North Korea or strike a bad deal now also

breaking tonight and this is huge a massive development - a major scandal

that the media has been ignoring and we have been covering Viktoria ton Singh

who will join us tomorrow she is the lawyer for the uranium one

informant and she is confirming tonight that the FBI field office in Little Rock

Arkansas is in fact investigating the Clinton Foundation now Victoria ton

Singh is saying that her client this is the important he had infiltrated Putin's

Network in America when they were involved in bribery extortion kickbacks

of money-laundering William Campbell she's saying he was interviewed by the

FBI about the Clinton Foundation back in December last year now this comes after

Democrats tried today to damage the credibility of this informant with a

smear piece full of selective leaks and it just proves how Democrats are scared

and they will do anything and everything to protect Bill and Hillary Clinton by

the way I'd like to remind them they have the right to remain silent thank

you god bless you and God bless america
