Breaking News :TRADE WAR BEGINS, Brussels and China FURIOUS as Trump signs off steel tariffs

Trump says U.S. to be flexible on tariffs to true friends - Duration: 2:35.
U.S. President Donald Trump has signed an executive order imposing 25 percent tariffs
on steel imports and ten percent on aluminum.
As he previously alluded to, Mexico and Canada are likely to be exempt pending the outcome
of ongoing negotiations on NAFTA.
Park Jong-hong reports.
In the end, President Trump stuck to his guns.
This despite fierce protests from trading partners and even collective concern from
members of the Republican party who claim the measures would weaken the competitiveness
of U.S. industries.
"Today, I'm defending America's national security by placing tariffs on foreign imports of steel
and aluminum.
We will have a 25 percent tariff on foreign steel and 10 percent on foreign aluminum when
the product comes across our borders."
But he held off a decision on Canada and Mexico saying that negotiations are ongoing on NAFTA.
He said if the U.S. strikes a deal, there will be no tariffs for the two countries but
if talks fall apart, the U.S. will terminate NAFTA and start all over again.
He did say that he's optimistic a deal would be reached.
In any case, Trump said 15 days remain until the tariffs take effect and exemptions will
be made on a case-by-case basis considering "fairness on trade."
President Trump spoke at length about how the U.S. industry had been taken advantage
of over the years.
He said millions of U.S. workers had been laid off as plants closed all across America
ravaged by the unfair trade practice called dumping.
He said this was not just a disaster for the economy but also national security.
In the future he added there will be many cases of reciprocal tax which is virtually
a tit for tat in tariffs between trading partners.
The tariff decision deals a blow to Korea which will have to come to grips with Trump's
move.
Seoul's Trade Minister Kim Hyun-jong has been meeting with Congressional and Senate leaders
pitching the message was that Korean steel is not a threat to the U.S. steel industry
and is actually contributing to the U.S. economy through local investments.
In the next 15 days, Korea plans to make a final pitch to try to minimize the tariff
impact.

Trump says U.S. to be flexible on tariffs to true friends - Duration: 2:37.
U.S. President Donald Trump has signed an executive order imposing tariffs of 25 percent
on steel and ten percent on aluminum.
But, backtracking on an earlier "no exceptions" stance, Trump has decided to grant an exemption
to Mexico and Canada... for now.
That could change, though, depending on the ongoing negotiations on the North American
Free Trade Agreement, NAFTA.
Park Jong-hong reports.

REPORT: John McCain Secretly Plotted To Have Trump Impeached By Confronting Him With Dossier(VIDEO)! - Duration: 3:56.
John McCain Secretly Plotted To Have Trump Impeached By Confronting Him With Dossier
questions obviously remain about that shadowy back-channel handoff to
Republican Senator John McCain of the unverified dossier prepared by former
British mi6 spy Christopher Steele who was as you remember working for Glenn
Simpson's firm fusion GPS tonight chief intelligence correspondent Catherine
Herridge talks with a former senior British diplomat who says he was right
in the middle of all of it my mission was essentially to be a go-between and a
messenger to tell the senator that such a dossier existed Fox News spoke to Sir
Andrew wood at the Halifax International Security Forum in Canada as Britain's
ambassador to Moscow from 1995 to 2000 would witness the end of Russian
president Boris Yeltsin and the rise of Vladimir Putin just after the election
in November 2016 Senator John McCain spoke at the same security conference
Wood says he was instructed by former British spy Christopher Steele to reach
out to the senior Republican about the unverified Trump dossier Senator John
McCain a fine man would insist he never read the dossier that his good friend
and longtime colleague prepared it was commissioned by opposition research firm
fusion GPS and funded by the DNC and Clinton campaign focused he came to me
to tell me what was in it and why it was important she made it very clear this
was raw intelligence but it needed putting in the proper context before we
could judge it fully July and August are critical months in the Clinton email and
Russia investigations in July then FBI director James Comey recommended against
prosecution for Clinton's mishandling of classified information we are expressing
to justice our view that no charges are appropriate in this case and the same
month the FBI opened the Russia probe in August Woods says Steele briefed him on
the dossier he'd already been in contact with the FBI and
he said there was corroborating evidence in the United States from which I
assumed he was working with an American company British court records obtained
by Fox News show steel was directed by feuding GPS founder Glenn Simpson to
push the research to five American media outlets I've never heard of mr. Simpson
I have heard of fusion as the name of the people that Chris was referring to
when he referred to working with some people in the team in the United States
three weeks after Donald Trump won the presidential election at the Canadian
Security Conference the details were finalized for the dossier handoff to
Senator McCain along with the senator Sir Andrew wood and McCain Institute
staffer David J creamer attended the Canadian conference British Court
records state McCain told Cramer to get a personal briefing from Steele outside
of London and then returned to Washington DC fusion GPS would provide
Senator McCain with hard copies in January Senator McCain gave the dossier
to the FBI that already had its own copy from Steele the senator's office had no
comment and referred Foxx to a previous statement that said he could not judge
its accuracy Kramer's not responded to multiple requests for comment a year
after the election here on Capitol Hill some lawmakers complain it's roadblock
after roadblock they even accused the FBI and Justice Department of slow
walking documents about the dossier even though President Trump's political
appointees are running both departments did the FBI pay for a dossier on the
president questions about the dossier or something that are better taken up in
separate settings in Washington Catherine Herridge Fox News thank you
god bless you and God bless america

BREAKING : One Big Lie Could Land James Comey And Anti-Trump FBI Agents In Prison - Duration: 3:28.
One Big Lie Could Land James Comey And Anti-Trump FBI Agents In Prison
The corruption at the FBI has become the biggest scandal in American politics.
Former FBI Director James Comey and former deputy director Andrew McCabe are neck deep
in trouble.
And now they have to worry about one big mistake landing them both in prison.
Special counsel Robert Mueller has aggressively pursued charges against Trump associates on
process crimes.
He forced former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn to plead guilty to making false
statements to the FBI even though the FBI did not believe he was lying.
And now that could come back to bite Comey and McCabe.
Comey acknowledged that he purposefully leaked four memos of his conversations with the President
to a friend so they would end up in the press and lead to the appointment of a special counsel.
An Inspector General report will allegedly cite McCabe for misleading investigators about
press leaks he engineered during the Hillary Clinton email investigation.
George Washington Law Professor Jonathan Turley writes that the standard set by Mueller may
have put Comey and McCabe in legal jeopardy:
"IN THE CASE OF MCCABE, HE REPORTEDLY DENIED ANY INTENTION TO MISLEAD INVESTIGATORS ON
THE LEAK TO THE WALL STREET JOURNAL.
MCCABE WOULD NOT BE ALONE IN THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT'S OWN ALLOWANCE FOR AN IN-HOUSE "EXCULPATORY
NO."
AS I HAVE PREVIOUSLY WRITTEN, COMEY WAS IN VIOLATION OF FBI RULES WHEN HE REMOVED MEMOS
LINKED TO THE INVESTIGATION AND THEN LEAKED THE INFORMATION TO THE MEDIA THROUGH A FRIEND.
THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT HAS INDICATED THAT THESE MEMOS WERE FBI DOCUMENTS REMOVED BY
COMEY WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL.
MOREOVER, FOUR OF THE SEVEN MEMOS THAT COMEY REMOVED ARE NOW BELIEVED TO BE CLASSIFIED.
SINCE HE REPORTEDLY GAVE FOUR MEMOS TO HIS FRIEND, COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR DANIEL
RICHMAN, TO LEAK TO THE MEDIA, AT LEAST ONE DISCLOSED MEMO MAY HAVE BEEN CLASSIFIED.
IT IS A CRIME TO REMOVE OR RELEASE CLASSIFIED INFORMATION.
WHILE COMEY COULD HAVE LEGALLY GIVEN THE INFORMATION TO A CONGRESSIONAL COMMITTEE OR ALERTED THEM
TO THE EXISTENCE OF THE MEMOS, HE CHOSE TO REMOVE THE MATERIAL AND LEAK THE INFORMATION
TO THE MEDIA.
COMEY IS ALSO COOPERATING WITH MUELLER AND THERE IS NO INDICATION THAT HE IS FACING A
CRIMINAL INQUIRY.
WHILE MCCABE WAS WORKING UNDER COMEY, IT IS NOT CLEAR IF COMEY KNEW OF THE ALLEGED LEAK
BY MCCABE.
IN A MAY 2017 CONGRESSIONAL HEARING, COMEY WAS ASKED IF HE HAD "EVER BEEN AN ANONYMOUS
SOURCE IN NEWS REPORTS ABOUT MATTERS RELATING TO THE TRUMP INVESTIGATION OR THE CLINTON
INVESTIGATION" OR WHETHER HE HAD "EVER AUTHORIZED SOMEONE ELSE AT THE FBI TO BE AN
ANONYMOUS SOURCE IN NEWS REPORTS ABOUT THE TRUMP INVESTIGATION OR THE CLINTON INVESTIGATION."
COMEY REPLIED, "NEVER" AND "NO."
If Comey and McCabe do not face charges, then it will prove that there is one set of standards
for swamp insiders and another for Trump and his team.
Which is just further proof that the Mueller probe is nothing more than an anti-Trump witch
hunt.
Trump supporters argue this is all the evidence Trump needs to shut this nonsense down immediately.
Do you think Trump should fire Mueller?
