Number of Companies Offering �Trump Bonuses� Thanks to Tax Cut Jumps to 250

Employees at companies of all sizes and in various industries are already starting to

bring home additional money in direct response to tax reform by the Trump administration.

Even before Americans start to determine whether Republicans were correct in predicting the

new law will result in noticeably larger paychecks, many workers have already received or been

promised a bonus of some type.

As the Washington Examiner reported, the number of firms offering an incentive tied to their

lower tax bill has reached at least 250 in the weeks since President Donald Trump signed

the bill into law late last year.

While the Republican bill received some criticism for its disproportionately steep corporate

tax cuts, many of those businesses have shown a willingness to pass some of that money on

to their employees.

Among the latest major corporations to announce such bonuses are Starbucks, Disney and Home

Depot.

Many of the firms are offering one-time cash bonuses, but some have promised additional

and potentially more long-term benefits as a result of the corporate tax cut.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Starbucks, the world�s largest coffee chain, will offer

its employees expanded parental and sick leave in addition to a one-time stock grant and

an hourly wage hike

Disney has also made a sizable and multifaceted investment in its employees in response to

the new tax rate, Fortune reported this week.

Along with giving more than 125,000 individuals a $1,000 bonus, the entertainment giant is

also putting $50 million into a program designed to help workers pay for college tuition.

About 88,000 employees will reportedly be eligible for college tuition help from the

program Disney has pledged to fund annually.

About 90 percent of Home Depot�s more than 400,000 employees are expected to receive

a $1,000 bonus the company recently promised each of its nonsalaried workers.

In a statement announcing the bonuses, CEO and President Craig Menear joined other business

leaders in crediting the lower tax rate.

�We are pleased to be able to provide this additional reward to our associates for continuing

to deliver outstanding customer service,� he said.

�This incremental investment in our associates was made possible by the new tax reform bill.�

Walmart and a number of other major corporations have made similar announcements recently,

though many other smaller employers are also joining the movement.

The conservative advocacy group Americans for Tax Reform has been keeping track of announcements

by firms offering employees an incentive tied to the tax reform bill.

Some executives at smaller companies thanked Trump directly for the new tax bill, while

many took the opportunity to recognize their employees with more than just a check.

�Because of the reduction in corporate taxes we, as will all businesses, benefit from this

tax cut,� CEO Roger C. Camp wrote to employees of his Houston construction company.

�We believe that YOU are the reason for our success.

And now that we will be giving less of our hard earned income to the federal government,

we can share some of it with you.�

Employees of Camp Construction Services will be receiving a $500 bonus with their next

check, he announced.

The total number of firms offering some type of bonus has increased a reported 525 percent

over the past two weeks.

Trump Set to Reverse Obama Executive Order on Guantanamo Bay

An executive order that would reverse the Obama-era mandate to close the military prison

in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, is set to be signed by President Donald Trump in the near future.

The president will reportedly sign the executive order during, or possibly before his State

of the Union speech on Tuesday, according to an unnamed source close to the topic.

According to a State Department cable, the order would annul the 2009 order signed by

then-President Barack Obama that called for the prison to be �closed as soon as practicable.�

As noted by Politico, members of Congress continually blocked Obama�s efforts to shut

down the facility.

However, the former president did manage to transfer nearly 200 inmates to the custody

of foreign countries, leaving only 41 detainees inside the walls of the Guantanamo Bay detention

center.

While keeping the prison operational was a major political tool for Trump during his

2016 presidential campaign, he doesn�t plan on sending any terrorists to the facility

any time soon.

�At this time, we are not aware of any plans to bring additional detainees to Guantanamo

Bay,� the State Department cable says.

�The E.O. does not signal a significant policy shift with respect to detentions,�

the cable adds.

�Rather, it affirms Guantanamo Bay will continue to remain open and serve as one of

several options the United States maintains for the detention of terrorists.�

The repeal would also remove the language used in Obama�s directive that stated prisoners

should be �returned to their home country, released, transferred to a third country,

or transferred to another United States detention facility.�

The message set to be sent to embassies across the globe also noted that the State Department

and Department of Defense will be directed to �recommend criteria to the President

for determining detention disposition outcomes for individuals captured on the battlefield.�

�Currently, the United States employs a number of different options for disposition,

including transferring individuals to host governments or pursuing prosecution in a U.S.

court,� the cable adds.

�These remain viable options.�

The New York Daily News reported that in the days before his inauguration, Trump tweeted

his thoughts on Obama�s decision to transfer hundreds of prisoners out of Guantanamo Bay.

�There should be no further releases from Gitmo,� Trump tweeted.

�These are extremely dangerous people and should not be allowed back onto the battlefield.�

Trump has stuck to those words thus far, as no prisoners have been transferred or released

from the prison during his first year in office.

As noted by Politico, the State Department and the White House have yet to respond to

a request for comment.

Methane emissions in Texas� biggest oil and gas-producing counties cratered between

2011 and 2016, according to a report from a group that promotes natural gas production.

Emissions dropped over 211,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent during that five-year

period among the state�s natural gas-producing counties, according to an analysis from Texans

for Energy.

Similar reduction levels were noted among the ten largest oil-producing counties.

�The story on methane is all about technological innovation, particularly how Texas oil and

gas producers have been able to make us more energy secure while also reducing emissions,�

Steve Everley, a spokesman for Texans for Natural Gas, said in a statement to The Daily

Caller News Foundation.

CO2e is a measure used to compare the emissions from various greenhouse gases � usually

methane and nitrous oxide � based upon their global warming potential.

Production spiked while emissions significantly decreased, the analysis also found.

Midland County, for instance, produced nearly 73 million barrels of oil in 2016, roughly

a 296 percent increase since 2011, according to the report that was conducted using the

Environmental Protection Agency�s Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program.

Technological advancements are successfully doing what regulations could only hope, Everley

said of the techniques energy producers use to extract natural gas from Texas� Permian

Basis.

�Critics of the U.S. oil and gas boom have repeatedly claimed that methane is an environmental

threat that requires new regulations from Washington,� he added.

Midland Country was not the only country in oil-rich Texas to see a dramatic emission

decrease.

Natural gas production in Webb County increased by 127 percent between 2011 and 2016, and

emissions in the county plummeted about 37,000 metric tons CO2e � or a 97 percent decline.

President Donald Trump announced in December 2017 that he would suspend or delay key requirements

of a former President Barack Obama-era global warming regulation to reduce methane emissions

on federal lands.

Oil companies have complained about the regulations since they were implemented in 2015.

The Bureau of Land Management will delay portions of the Obama administration�s methane flaring

rule until 2019 to give the agency time to review the rule.

BLM found the oil and gas industry would be �unnecessarily burdened� by a regulation

that may be rewritten.

Obama finalized the rule in 2016 as part of his plan to fight global warming.

Forcing oil companies to install new equipment to reduce venting and flaring would supplement

costs to taxpayers, officials claimed at the time.

Still, the rule was estimated to cost $1.8 billion, and was finalized during the final

weeks of the Obama administration.

Environmentalists defended the rule as necessary for cutting down methane, a potent greenhouse

gas.

Obama would not have been able to meet his Paris climate accord pledge without tackling

the country�s methane emissions.

He stated in his speech that the US stock markets are up due to his policies and programs

where the markets would be down by the opposite amount had Hillary won!

President Trump is right.

He stated that US markets are up by nearly 50% since his election.

(The Dow is up 44% since the 2016 election as of yesterday.)

He also stated that the markets have hit 84 all time highs since the election.

He actually understated the correct amount.

As of yesterday, with the Dow reaching another all time high, the Dow reached its 98th all

time high since the election.

President Trump�s stock markets hit many records in his first year in office as noted

in many previous posts here at TGP.

The stock market on Wednesday, January 17th, 2018, says it all.

On that day the Dow broke 26,000 points for the first time in its history.

As a result the Dow broke the record for the fastest 500, 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, 4,000, 5,000,

6,000 and 7,000 point increases between major milestones in the history of the Dow.

All of these increases occurred since Donald Trump was elected President.

Yesterday the Dow landed at 26,392.

The President also stated in a question and answer period that he believes that if Hillary

Clinton would have won the Presidency that the markets would be down nearly 50% because

of the business suffocating policies of the Obama Administration that the Hillary team

was sure to continue.

Next month Americans will receive more money in their checks due to lower taxes from the

Trump Tax Cut law just passed.

As time goes by, Americans will see more and more the blessing that President Trump won

the 2016 election.

On Sunday, Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen criticized a Barack Hussein Obama

appointed federal judge's order reinstating DACA as offensive for even suggesting that

ending the said program is racist.

In addition, she went as far as to rightly declare DACA unconstitutional and unapologetically

affirmed that her oath of office is to follow the U.S. Constitution.

Nielsen appeared on the show Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace discussing various issues

facing the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, but of course, a large majority of the interview

concerned the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).

DACA is an amnesty program for 800,000 illegal aliens announced by then President Barack

Obama and developed by former Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.

DACA, which is a predecessor of an even wider program named DAPA was based on the same legal

argument but instead covered over four million illegal aliens.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit ruled that DAPA was illegal and once President

Trump was inaugurated, the federal government, under his order and that of Attorney General

Sessions, dropped the remaining legal appeals and let the larger program lapse.

DACA Amnesty Chain Migration Would Exceed Four Years of U.S. Births

NEW YORK CITY, New York — The Democrats' draft Dream Act amnesty would likely add as

many chain-migration foreigners to the United States population as are added by the total

number of Americans who are born in four years' time.

As House and Senate Republicans, Democrats, the big business lobby, the cheap labor industry,

and the open borders lobby have teamed up to push an amnesty for potentially millions

of illegal aliens who are enrolled and eligible for the President Obama-created Deferred Action

for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, the impact the move would have on Americans would

be likely unprecedented.

Under the current legal immigration system, immigrants who are given a pathway to U.S.

citizenship are eventually allowed to bring extended family members, children, their parents,

siblings, and extended family members to the country.

This process, which makes up more than 70 percent of the current legal immigration,

is what's known as "chain migration."

Research by the Migration Policy Institute (MPI) reveals that under a DACA amnesty deal,

between about 800,000 and 3.5 million illegal aliens could be eligible for legalization

to permanently remain in the U.S.

Of those, MPI notes that 1.5 million of the estimated 3.5 million would be allowed to

obtain U.S. citizenship.

According to Princeton University researchers Stacie Carr and Marta Tienda, newly naturalized

Mexican immigrants in the U.S. bring an average of six foreign relatives with them.

Therefore, should all 1.5 million amnestied illegal aliens bring six relatives each to

the U.S., that would constitute a total chain migration of nine million new foreign nationals

entering the U.S.

Chain Migration of Potentially 19M Foreign Nationals Would Follow Amnesty for Illegal

Aliens -… Amnesty for illegal aliens would lead to unprecedented

chain migration of upwards of 10 million foreign nationals, under current law.

If the number of amnestied illegal aliens who gained a pathway to citizenship under

an amnesty plan were to rise to the full 3.3 million, and if each brought in three to six

foreign family members, the chain migration flow could range from 9.9 million to 19.8

million foreign nationals coming to the U.S.

This chain migration flow triggered by a DACA amnesty — where an end to chain migration

is not coupled with the plan — would be more than double the number of babies born

in the U.S. every single year, which stands at about four million a year.

Should a DACA amnesty trigger a chain migration flow of 19 million foreign nationals, it would

be more than quadruple the number of American births every year.

The chain migration of a DACA amnesty would potentially outpace the populations of American

cities like New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Houston.

Such a chain migration would boom the number of foreign-born residents in the U.S. to a

historic high.

Currently, the foreign-born population is already at historic levels, reaching 44 million

this year with no end in sight as legal immigration reductions to give relief to America's working

and middle-classes are stalled in Congress.

Trump has previously stated that an amnesty deal for DACA illegal aliens would have to

include an end on chain migration in order to stop surges of legal immigration to the

U.S., though it remains unclear how many Republicans would be willing to break from their big business

donors to help pass a law to end chain migration.

Most recently, a group of Senators released legislation known as the SECURE Act that would

end chain migration — thus reducing legal immigration to 500,000 admissions a year to

give relief to Americans — but couples the pro-American immigration reform with an amnesty

for DACA illegal aliens.

Nearly 120,000 foreign nationals have been allowed to enter the U.S. since 2005, despite

coming from countries designated as state-sponsors of terrorism, including Iran, Syria and Sudan,

Breitbart News reported.

Chain Migration Imported 120K Foreign Nationals from Terrorist-Funding Countries Since 2005

-… Nearly 120,000 foreign nationals have been

allowed to enter the US since 2005 despite coming from state-sponsors of terrorism.

In total, about 9.3 million foreign nationals have entered the U.S. since 2005 because of

chain migration, making it the largest driver of legal immigration to the country.

As Breitbart News reported, chain migration makes up more than 70 percent of all legal

immigration — with every two new immigrants bringing seven foreign relatives with them.

What we all need to keep in mind is the fact that almost a million illegals who would be

covered under DACA would account for another 23 new immigrants each, because of the idiotic

laws concerning chain migration.

That would mean that DACA would add another 19 million people to the US.

That would most certainly mean another 18 million Democrat voters in the future.

Many of which are located in the Republican stronghold of Texas.

If the GOP ever does lose the state of Texas there will never be another Republican President

again.

Let me remind you that California went to Nixon, even in 1960, and then to Reagan twice

and George H.W. Bush in 1988.

Former White House squatter Barack Obama went to great lengths to ensure that nobody knew

his past, and a newly leaked photo is giving us some insight as to why.

You see, for years, people have suspected that Obama is secretly a Muslim, and that

he merely posed as a Christian because it was politically convenient.

His actions over the course of eight years in office didn't help either, with him siding

with Islam and its followers more than America and her people, and a new photo that nobody's

ever seen before gives us some insight as to why that was.

According to Talking Points Memo, the picture was taken in 2005, and Democrats have used

every media ally they have to ensure it never saw the light of day.

In fact, get this, the photographer, Askia Muhammad, that he was forced to give the picture

"up at the time and basically swore secrecy," meaning he couldn't tell

a soul that Obama was seen with this disgusting anti-Semite.

"But after the nomination was secured and all the way up until the inauguration; then

for eight years after he was President, it was kept under cover," Muhammad said.

Well, for 13 years it worked, but not any longer.

Apparently, Obama and the leader of the Nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan, are pretty good

buddies.

In fact, the picture was taken at a Congressional Black Caucus meeting, but then swept under

the rug because it would have, and should have, harmed Obama's political future.

"I insist.

It absolutely would have made a difference," said Muhammad, when asked if he thought his

picture would have affected Obama politically.

Reached by TPM on Thursday, Muhammad said a "staff member" for the CBC contacted

him "sort of in a panic" after he took the photo at a caucus meeting in 2005.

TPM has published the photo above with Muhammad's permission.

"I sort of understood what was going on," Muhammad told TPM.

"I promised and made arrangements to give the picture to Leonard Farrakhan," the minister's

son-in-law and chief of staff.

Muhammad said he gave away "the disk" from his camera but "copied the photograph

from that day onto a file" on his computer.

"Realizing that I had given it up, I mean, it was sort of like a promise to keep the

photograph secret," Muhammad said.

Muhammad said he did not release his copy of the photograph because he thought it would

be perceived as a betrayal of that promise: "I was really, I guess, afraid

of them."

Muhammad said he thought the photograph would be "damaging politically" if it were released

and was afraid that someone might "break into his apartment" looking for it, like

"that Watergate crap."

He said he "felt a little bit more at ease" after Farrakhan in 2016 claimed that Obama

visited his home in Chicago.

Muhammad contacted Farrakhan in autumn 2017 with the "final manuscript" for a self-published

book containing the photo.

Gee, it really sounds like some great people were working around Obama at the time, doesn't

it?

picture been released, it would have been the end of Obama's White House hopes as

it's the equivalent of there being a picture of President Trump with David Duke (there's

not, by the way.

For 100 years, the Democratic mayors have a done a terrible � I mean, they�ve done

some bad work.�

Trump pointed to Democrat mayors of major cities that boycotted the meeting because

of his stance on sanctuary cities. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and Denver Mayor

Michael Hancock were among the mayors that protested the meeting.

�The mayors who choose to boycott this event have put the needs of criminal, illegal immigrants

over law-abiding America,� Trump said. �So let me tell you, the vast majority of people

showed up.�

Liberal CEO Ambushes Trump At DAVOS, Gets WRECKED As Trump Leans Back & Utters 2 Words

the left is slowly coming to terms with the fact that Donald Trump is President of the

United States and that he's not going anywhere.

Of course, that doesn't mean they'll pass up an opportunity to embarrass or humiliate

him if they can.

Although their whole "Russia" thing isn't working out, that doesn't mean they won't

be on the prowl to find some other fictitious claim in hopes of getting President Trump

impeached.

In the end, liberals have exposed themselves to be very petty — a reality that doesn't

appear to be ending anytime soon.

In fact, the CEO of the left-leaning news outlet Business Insider, Henry Blodget, decided

to prove just that by ambushing President Donald Trump, as The Daily Caller reports.

For those unaware, the president, along with several other world leaders, billionaires,

and chief executives came together to talk about a variety of economic issues at the

World Economic Forum in Davos.

Although the idea is to "improve the state of the world," as many discussions attempt

to achieve this in one way or another, it seems that one thing at the event is preventing

some from working toward that dream — President Donald Trump.

In fact, a few idiots wouldn't mind burning down his world and have even already attempted

doing so at this point.

As previously noted, Business Insider CEO Henry Blodget was at the event, where he approached

Trump, likely hoping to get himself a soundbite that would go viral.

Too bad for him, things blew up in his face just about as quickly as he issued his "gotcha

question" for the president.

Heard screaming above everyone else in the room as Trump walked by, a desperate Blodget

asked the president, "Is America great?"

Rather than go into a long drawn out response, proving that America is once again on the

right track, Trump kept his answer short by saying, "America's great" — but things

only got better from there.

Hoping to back Trump into a corner, Blodget came through with a follow-up question, asking,

"Is everybody else great?"

You see, Blodget wanted one of a few different things to happen.

If Trump didn't answer, it would suggest that he only cares about America and they'd

try to paint him as the man who told the rest of the world to piss off.

Of course, if the president suggested that other countries weren't as "great" as

America, well, you'd probably have a similar outcome.

Even worse yet for Trump, the political ramifications at an international level could be astronomical,

considering how simple and short the question was — but Trump isn't a fool.

For some reason, idiots like Blodget haven't figured this out yet, but the CEO would get

positively wrecked as Trump leaned back and uttered 2 words that shut him up for good.

"Everyone's great," Trump said while raising his hand to project his voice.

Just like that, Trump easily sidestepped the mine the liberal CEO put out there in hopes

of watching the president blow his own leg off.

When it comes down to it, Blodget's attempt was actually rather genius.

By masking what could be the next "bombshell story," that Trump hates the world, in such

a simple question that appears harmless, well, you can see why others could have easily taken

the bait.

But, while Blodget was pretty clever, President Donald Trump outdoes him.

Trump has been walking circles around the media from day one and continues to do so

today.

You'd think they'd be tired of embarrassing themselves, but that's clearly not the issue.

These attacks will never stop because the reward, at least for them, is too great should

such an attempt pan out.

Too bad for them, they better get used to losing because that's all they've been

doing these days — and, at

this point, they're getting pretty good at it.

President Trump appeared on Fox News' The Ingraham Angle, one of the network's newest

show hosted by radio personality Laura Ingraham.

If you follow along closely, Trump lays out a plan to send Hillary Clinton to prison.

It's not that difficult.

She's corrupt.

She deserves to serve time.

Here's the transcript, per Real Clear Politics:

INGRAHAM: Hillary Clinton said last night that paying for the dossier – she defended

it, basically.

She said it's different from meeting with Russians; like meeting with Russians.

She's trying to make a comparison to say – she totally defended it.

TRUMP: Well, she talked about oppo research is wonderful; oppo research – but not when

it comes to us; okay?

Oppo research for us, of course, is no good; no.

That dossier which is totally fake and made up – it's like a novel – but that dossier

is a disgrace and it should not have been allowed to be used.

And then I hear the kind of

money they spent.

INGRAHAM: $9 million.

TRUMP: I mean, it's inconceivable.

It's absolutely

inconceivable – it's horrible.
