Breaking: Trump�s DOJ Makes Historic Move Against Planned Parenthood

President Donald Trump�s Department of Justice announced an investigation into abortion provider

Planned Parenthood over alleged sale of tissue and body parts from abortions, Fox News reports.

The allegations originally came to light in a series of undercover videos by the Center

for Medical Progress starting in 2015 in which a number of Planned Parenthood officials were

caught negotiating prices for fetal tissue, among other issues.

A letter from the Department of Justice obtained by Fox News shows that the government is formally

requesting unredacted documents from the Senate Judiciary Committee�s investigation into

the abortion provider.

According to the Washington Examiner, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley

of Iowa only provided the Department of Justice with a redacted copy of documents from the

committee�s 2016 investigation of Planned Parenthood and its practices

In the DOJ letter, Justice Department Assistant Attorney General for Legislative Affairs Stephen

Boyd Boyd requested that Grassley and ranking minority member Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California

turn over the unredacted version of the documents.

�The Department of Justice appreciates the offer of assistance in obtaining these materials,

and would like to request the Committee provide unredacted copies of records contained in

the report, in order to further the Department�s ability to conduct a thorough and comprehensive

assessment of that report based on the full range of information available,� Boyd wrote.

Boyd noted his reasons for asking for the documents was �in order to further the department�s

ability to conduct a thorough and comprehensive assessment of that report based on the full

range of information available.�

The eventual report that emerged from the Senate Judiciary Committee�s 2016 hearings

� �Human Fetal Tissue Research: Context and Controversy� � recommended that the

Department of Justice and FBI investigate Planned Parenthood�s dealings with fetal

tissue further.

However, given that the report was issued under the Obama administration � when Loretta

Lynch was at the helm of the Justice Department � little or nothing was going to be done

about it.

Things are different this time around, especially when you consider we�re dealing with an

administration that has openly stated the position is that life begins at conception.

Needless to say, conservatives were happy:

This time, Planned Parenthood is going to be facing a serious investigation for the

practices its employees admitted to on camera.

That�s not good news for Cecile Richards or her abortion mill.

For those who still place a value on the sanctity of life, however, this is the news we�ve

been waiting for for a long time.

The DOJ has never gone after Planned Parenthood like this � and it�s about time.

The president wasn�t afraid to keep mentioning the name of Jesus or tell America the truth

about the Christmas season: it�s all about the birth of Jesus Christ.

�Each and every year at Christmas time we recognize that the real spirit of Christmas

is not what we have, it�s about who we are � each one of us is a child of God,� Trump

continued, according to LifeSite News.

�That is the true source of joy this time of the year.

That is what makes every Christmas �merry,'� he stated.

Trump has always upheld that God plays a major role in the very core of our country.

Even during his presidential campaign, the president called for �Merry Christmas�

to become the norm once again instead of the secularized, �Happy Holidays.�

While the mention of God and prayer is being erased from schools and the public square,

the president is once again reaffirming the Christian values that undergird our nation.

National security blog, The Intercept, reports Tuesday that the White House is considering

a proposal to draft a network of friendly "spies" within the federal government,

in an effort to combat what they believe are seditious "Deep State" employees, within

the federal ranks, subverting the administration's agenda.

According to the report, the proposal is for a wildly extensive spy network designed to

report back on official intelligence gatherers, and provide a check on entrenched national

security officials who have agendas of their own, counter to the president's.

"Pompeo can't trust the CIA bureaucracy, so we need to create this thing that reports

just directly to him," a source told the Intercept.

"It is a direct-action arm, totally off the books.

The whole point is this is supposed to report to the president and Pompeo directly."

The proposal would also, reportedly, create a new, separate, unofficial agency that could

operate in places like North Korea and Iran — where the United States has an interest

in collecting intelligence but can't because of formal, longstanding diplomatic policy

(though it's not clear the United States already doesn't have one of those because

it's not as though they'd publicize it).

The White House has long sought a way to combat the influence of remaining Obama-era officials

inside the massive government bureaucracy that is the Department of Justice.

Trump officials have spoken regularly about "leaks" within the system, and have worried,

quite publicly, that certain officials are deliberately undermining diplomatic and intelligence

efforts.

This week's revelation — that an FBI agent on Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team,

and former FBI Director James Comey's before that, had to be removed from investigations

over his anti-Trump sentiments — has probably done little to assuage the White House's

fears.

Several sources close to the report did cast some doubt on a Trump plan to wire the entire

CIA and spy on the spies, saying that the president has entertained a number of proposals

on how to neutralize "deep state" threats, and this was merely one of many.

When the greater part of the spies is set up, the odds of leaks will lessen incredibly.

The expectation is that Donald Trump will be given (starting now and into the foreseeable

The White House Christmas tree lighting has become an increasingly secular affair in recent

years, even given the holiday that it's supposed to celebrate.

And why not?

After all, the Obama administration did everything in its power to avoid uttering the very word

"Christmas," much less celebrating what the season really meant.

Things are a bit different in the White House now, and evangelist Rev. Franklin Graham definitely

took note of it.

In a Dec. 1 Facebook post, the son of the legendary evangelist Billy Graham praised

President Trump for his "strong, outspoken stand" and urged Christians to pray for

his success.

"Never in my lifetime have we had a president willing to take a strong, outspoken stand

for the Christian faith like President Donald J. Trump has," Graham wrote in the Dec.

1 post.

"Whether you are Protestant, evangelical, Orthodox, Catholic–all Christians need to

get behind him with our prayers."

Graham then embedded a video of President Trump's speech at the tree lighting, which

sounded markedly different than anything you were used to hearing from President Obama.

Take a look:

"For Christians, this is a Holy season — the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior

Jesus Christ," Trump said in his remarks.

"The Christmas story begins 2000 years ago with a mother, a father, their baby son, and

the most extraordinary gift of all, the gift of God's love for all of humanity.

"Whatever our beliefs, we know that the birth of Jesus Christ and the story of this

incredible life forever changed the course of human history," the president continued.

"There's hardly an aspect of our lives today that his life has not touched: art,

music, culture, law, and our respect for the sacred dignity of every person everywhere

in the world.

"Each and every year at Christmas time we recognize that the real spirit of Christmas

is not what we have, it's about who we are — each one of us is a child of God.

"That is the true source of joy this time of the year.

That is what makes every Christmas 'merry.'

And that is what we remember at today's beautiful ceremony, that we are called to

serve one another, to love one another, and to pursue peace in our hearts and all throughout

the world," Trump noted.

Indeed, given a former president more prone to saying "Happy Holidays" than "Merry

Christmas," Trump's speech was a stand for his Christian values that we haven't

seen any president take in quite some time.

Franklin Graham noticed, and so did we.

recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital city, the president released footage fully

exposing their hypocrisy.

Trump made history Wednesday by announcing that the U.S. would be moving its embassy

from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, something former president's only talked about doing but

never had the guts to actually do.

Following criticism from leftists who said Trump made a reckless decision, the president

uploaded a video compilation to his Twitter account showing former Presidents Bill Clinton,

George W. Bush and Barack Obama also promising to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.Jerusalem

is still the capital of Israel and must remain an undivided city accessible to all," Clinton

said in 1992.

"As soon as I take office, I will begin the process of moving the United States ambassador

to the city Israel has chosen as its capital," Bush said in 2000.In 2008, Obama echoed a

similar tune saying, "I continue to say that Jerusalem will be the capital of Israel.

And I have said that before and I will say it again."

The video then shows Trump speaking at The American Israel Public Affairs Committee in

2016, where he promised to "move the American embassy to the eternal capital of the Jewish

people — Jerusalem."Trump actually honored his major campaign promise — which three

former presidents also said they would do — and yet Trump is the one excoriated by

the media.

It's pathetic, but thankfully Trump is exposing the left's hypocrisy on this issue and proving

that he was the only president brave enough to make this decision.

Moving the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem may take a few years, but it shows that Trump

is taking steps to bolster the United States' already strong relationship with the Jewish

state.Israel has learned that it now has a true friend in the White House, and this historic

move by Trump solidifies Israel's position as owner and ruler of the holy city.

Democrats are siding with the terrorist-supporting Palestinians because they are angry that Trump

actually had the guts to do what former presidents before him never could.
