U.S. President Donald Trump's push to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital is met with

strong resistance at the UN.

According to our No Aram, a resounding majority of members defied unprecedented threats by

Washington... to vote for a withdrawal of that decision.

Widespread defiance of President Trump's declaration on Jerusalem was already apparent at Monday's

UN Security Council meeting when all other nations apart from the U.S. backed a resolution

calling on Trump to rescind his move.

That was eventually vetoed by America and therefore didn't get adopted.

That sparked the Palestinians and their Arab and Islamic supporters to seek Thursday's

General Assembly vote.

Results were 128 in favor, nine against and 35 abstentions.

The vote came despite warnings from the U.S. ambassador that Washington was willing to

sever its hefty funding to the world body.

(English) AP - 7002294 / 1 "When we make generous contributions to the

UN, we also have a legitimate expectation that our good will is recognized and respected.

When a nation is singled out for attack in this organization, that nation is disrespected.

What's more, that nation is asked to pay for the "privilege" of being disrespected.

Haley said the U.S. will put its embassy in Jerusalem regardless of the vote.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also said afterward that he totally rejects

what he called the "preposterous" resolution.

But, he took the time to thank nations that chose to abstain.

Those who voted in favor included many U.S. aid recipients including Jordan and Egypt,

as well as many American allies.

President Trump's threat of cutting foreign aid had raised the stakes at Thursday's emergency

meeting and triggered accusations from Muslims of U.S. bullying, blackmail and intimidation.

Arab, Islamic and non-aligned nations rejected his warnings and urged a "yes" vote.

The non-binding resolution states that any decisions regarding the status of Jerusalem

are "null and void" and must be cancelled.

Looking back on a year of resisting Trump - Duration: 3:30.

The entire 2016 election sparked civic engagement and participation in American democracy like

we haven't seen in generations.

I, Donald John Trump do solemnly swear

We're out here to send a clear message to

Trump-Pence supporters that their bigotry and hate is not welcome in our country.

We reject the president elect!

When Donald Trump won in November 2016, many people all over the country woke up shocked.

People felt like they had to do something to express themselves because voting wasn't enough.

Hundreds of thousands of people have gathered to demand equal rights.

We will not go from being a nation of immigrants to a nation of ignorance.

We started the year with a bang right after the inauguration with the Women's March, January 21st.

The streets across the United States and cities across the United States were flooded with

pink pussy hats, people marching, chanting.

Donald Trump has got to go!

Estimates are that three million people marched around the United States as well as abroad.

The next big march in Washington was the March for Science.

Turned out about 100,000 people here in DC who stood in the what ended up being the pouring

rain for much of it, cheering on Bill Nye the Science Guy.

A week later, exactly a week later, was the People's Climate March which was a hot sunny day

And that march turned out about 200,000 people in Washington D.C.

The resistance is the response to the three different components of American politics today.

that has not meaningfully engaged with local communities.

the way that dark money has infiltrated politics in America.

The way that he actually announces his work in many cases insights what we call moral shocks,

which is that he attacks people, he attacks ideas

He hasn't just sparked once.

He sparks consistently.

The legal battle over President Trump's proposed travel ban continues.

People ran to airports.

A whole bunch of lawyers went out and were volunteering their time to people who were being held.

And that was just fascinating.

And then there was the march for racial justice and that was the most recent case of

people actually marching.

I think that a lot of people who are engaging in the resistance are focused more on participating

in other activities other than marching again.

Kill the bill!

The numbers of people who report going to town hall meetings has gone up.

People talking to their elected officials has also gone up, so that while people may

be marching less, they're engaging just as much, if not more.

One of the things that people always ask me is, why march?

What's the point?

How do you know if it's successful?

Well marching on Washington is not going to get somebody to lose power.

And you can't get a bill passed by marching on Washington.

But if marching on Washington helps create this sense of collective identity where then

people go from marching on Washington back into their districts, that's exactly how politics

in America is supposed to work.

Zionist Group Awards Trump its Highest Honor 'No President Has D - Duration: 9:51.

Zionist Group Awards Trump its Highest Honor: No President Has Done More to Promote

Zionism

Washington, D.C.

While President Donald Trump has often referred to himself a friend of Israel,

he has now been officially recognized for that stance by a pro-Zionist group that advocates

for Jewish nationalism.

On Monday, the Friends of Zion Museum presented President Trump with its Friends of Zion Award

at the White House.

No president in history has ever built such an alliance for the State of Israel and

the Jewish people, and no president has courageously stood up for the State of Israel on the global

stage as you had Mr. President, declared Dr. Mike Evans, founder of the Friends of

Zion Museum.

President Trumps historic recognition of Jerusalem will secure his place in history

as the first American president to take that step since the founding of the State of Israel

in 1948.

We believe no American president in history has done more to defend the Jewish people

in the United Nations, Evans added.

The Friends of Zion Museum is located in Jerusalem and works to push the Israeli agenda while

attempting to legitimize the taking of Palestinian lands.

One of the biggest moves, celebrated by Trumps Zionist backers, was his recent announcement

recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Zionist allied Evangelicals lauded the Trump administrations staunch support for Israel.

This president is an anomaly.

He is an anomaly because he keeps his promises.

Evangelicals, conservatives across this country are grateful for the fact that he has actually

done exactly what he campaigned on, said Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research

Council.

Many people fail to understand what encompasses Zionism.

For those unfamiliar with the term Zionism, Vox explains:

Zionism is Israels national ideology.

Zionists believe Judaism is a nationality as well as a religion, and that Jews deserve

their own state in their ancestral homeland, Israel, in the same way the French people

deserve France or the Chinese people should have China.

Its what brought Jews back to Israel in the first place, and also at the heart of

what concerns Arabs and Palestinians about the Israeli state.

Arabs and Palestinians generally oppose Zionism, as the explicitly Jewish character of the

Israeli state means that Jews have privileges that others dont.

For instance, any Jew anywhere in the world can become an Israeli citizen, a right not

extended to any other class of person.

Arabs, then, often see Zionism as a species of colonialism and racism aimed at appropriating

Palestinian land and systematically disenfranchising the Palestinians that remain.

Arab states actually pushed through a UN General Assembly resolution labeling Zionism a

form of racism and racial discrimination in 1975, though it was repealed 16 years later.

Despite the Zionist position, Israel is on track to become an apartheid state.

In fact, a recent UN report noted that Israel had established an apartheid regime that

oppresses and dominates the Palestinian people as a whole.

The report Israeli Practices towards the Palestinian People and the Question of Apartheid

was commissioned and published by the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western

Asia (ESCWA) and launched in Beirut, and urged governments to support boycott, divestment

and sanctions [BDS] activities and respond positively to calls for such initiatives.

A brief history of Zionism is as follows, according to Britannica:

In the 16th and 17th centuries a number of messiahs came forward trying to persuade

Jews to return to Palestine.

The Haskala (Jewish Enlightenment) movement of the late 18th century, however, urged Jews

to assimilate into Western secular culture.

In the early 19th century interest in a return of the Jews to Palestine was kept alive mostly

by Christian millenarians.

Despite the Haskala, eastern European Jews did not assimilate and, in reaction to tsarist

pogroms, formed the ?ovevei ?iyyon (Lovers of Zion) to promote the settlement of Jewish

farmers and artisans in Palestine.

A political turn was given to Zionism by Theodor Herzl, an Austrian journalist who regarded

assimilation as most desirable but, in view of anti-Semitism, impossible to realize.

Thus, he argued, if Jews were forced by external pressure to form a nation, they could lead

a normal existence only through concentration in one territory.

In 1897 Herzl convened the first Zionist Congress at Basel, Switzerland, which drew up the Basel

program of the movement, stating that Zionism strives to create for the Jewish people a

home in Palestine secured by public law.

When the Ottoman government refused Herzls request for Palestinian autonomy, he found

support in Great Britain.

In 1903 the British government offered 6,000 square miles (15,500 square km) of uninhabited

Uganda for settlement, but the Zionists held out for Palestine.

Upon the outbreak of World War I, political Zionism reasserted itself, and its leadership

passed to Russian Jews living in England.

Two such Zionists, Chaim Weizmann and Nahum Sokolow, were instrumental in obtaining the

Balfour Declaration from Great Britain (November 2, 1917), which promised British support for

the creation of a Jewish national home in Palestine.

The declaration was included in Britains League of Nations mandate over Palestine (1922).

Revealing the intimate connection between the Rothschild family and the creation of

Israel, the head of the Rothschild banking empire, and staunch supporter of Israel, Lord

Jacob Rothschild, recently revealed the critical role of his family in the securing the Balfour

Declaration, which helped pave the way for the creation of Israel.

The Balfour Declaration, written in 1917, was an official document from the British

Foreign Minister, Lord Balfour, addressed to Lord Rothschild, a leader of the Zionist

movement in Britain at the time and Lord Jacob Rothschilds uncle.

During the television interview with Rothschild, he revealed new details about the extremely

pivotal role his cousin Dorothea de Rothschild played.

Rothschild described Dorothea, who was in her teens at the time, as devoted to Israel,

and said: What she did was crucially important.

Rothschild went on to say that Dorothy acted as a conduit between Zionist leader Chaim

Weizmann and the British political establishment.

Dorothy told Weizmann how to integrate, how to insert himself into British establishment

life, which he learned very quickly, according to Rothschild.

Rothschild explained that the manner in which the declaration was procured was extraordinary.

It was the most incredible piece of opportunism, he reasoned.

[Weizmann] gets to Balfour, Rothschild described, and unbelievably, he persuades

Lord Balfour, and Lloyd George, the prime minister, and most of the ministers, that

this idea of a national home for Jews should be allowed to take place.

I mean its so, so unlikely.

According to former Israeli Ambassador Daniel Taub, the Balfour Declaration changed the

course of history for the Middle East.

Rothschild said his family at the time was divided on the idea of Israel, noting that

some family members didnt think it was a good thing that this national home be established

there.

In her book, Against Our Better Judgment: The Hidden History of How the U.S. Was Used

to Create Israel, Alison Weir exposed the fact that numerous drafts of the declaration

were presented to Zionists in the United States prior to the document being finalized.

Weirs book notes that one of the primary inducements offered to British leaders to

issue the Balfour Declaration was the Zionist claim that they would bring the U.S. into

world war I on Britains side if the British would promise to enable the Zionist colonization

of Palestine.

The deeply intertwined relationship between modern Zionism and the Rothschild banking

empire cannot be overstated.

Without the Rothschild familys vast influence and direct assistance, Israel very well may

have never been created.

It seems that contrary to popular opinion, Trump isnt opposing the globalist and Zionists,

but rather, operating at the behest of his Zionist billionaire overlords, such as Jacob

Rothschild and billionaire casino magnate Sheldon Adelson, to further entrench the state

of Israel to the detriment of the surrounding Arab population who are treated as second-class

citizens.

Never Trump' Conservatives Soften to President Trump, Hail His A - Duration: 1:59.

Never Trump Conservatives Soften to President Trump, Hail His Achievements

Almost a year into the Trump administration, some conservatives who formed part of the

Never Trump movement during the campaign are softening even praising the president

for his successes in office.

New York Times readers on Sunday were treated to a column by conservative Ross Douthat a

frequent critic of Trump who wrote about Trumps underrated victory over the Islamic

State.

In the column, A War Trump Won, Douthat writes:

[I]f you had told me in late 2016 that almost a year into the Trump era the caliphate would

be all-but-beaten without something far worse happening in the Middle East, I would have

been surprised and gratified.

So very provisionally, credit belongs where its due to our soldiers and diplomats,

yes, but to our president as well.

Douthat also grills the press for not mentioning the success due to it contradicting the narrative

of Trumpian disaster. He notes that many on both the left and the Never Trump

right have feared Trumps foreign policy more than anything, and yet it has wrought

success so far.

Trump Tougher on Terrorism, Brings Back Two Words Obama Censored - Duration: 4:28.

Trump Tougher on Terrorism, Brings Back Two Words Obama Censored

President Donald Trump has proved theres a new sheriff in town when it comes to terrorism

policy, and now he has two words to show it: shariah and jihad.

What are the importance of those words? Well, according to Fox News, theyre words that

Barack Obamas Department of Homeland Security said in a 2016 report should be censored in

order to win the hearts and minds of the Muslim world.

And, in a 2017 National Security Strategy put together by the Trump White House, both

words appear a grand total of 24 times.

What a difference a year makes.

Last July, according to Fox, the DHS said that (t)he departments (Countering Violent

Extremism) efforts are an attempt to protect our nations young people from extremists

who prey upon the Millennial generation.

To do this, the DHS said that the government should reject religiously-charged terminology

and problematic positioning by using plain meaning American English when talking about

Islamic concepts.

It said substitutes should be used instead of religious, legal and cultural terms like

jihad, sharia, takfir or umma. (For the curious, takfir

is an accusation of apostasy in Islam and umma refers to the global Islamic community.)

According to Independent Journal Review, the new National Security Strategy reveals something

that should hardly surprise followers of the Trump administration: Trump & Co. arent

taking that advice.

The term jihad is used 23 times and sharia is used once. And both terms

were hardly used in passing.

The primary transnational threats Americans face are from jihadist terrorists and transnational

criminal organizations. Although their objectives differ, these actors pose some common challenges,

the report reads, according to IJR.

Among these challenges are exploit(ing) our open society, operat(ing) in loose

confederations and relying on encrypted communications to evade detection.

The report also mentioned that some groups are sheltered and supported by states and

do their bidding. Gee, I wonder who they might be talking about.

It went so far as to note that jihadist terrorists such as ISIS and al-Qaida continue

to spread a barbaric ideology that calls for the violent destruction of governments and

innocents they consider to be apostates. These jihadist terrorists attempt to force those

under their influence to submit to Sharia law.

The report, which was released Monday, is here, should you care to read it. Suffice

it to say that it was not something you would ever see under the Obama administration.

For instance, its four pillars of national security strategy are Protect the American

People, the Homeland, and the American Way of Life, Promote American Prosperity,

Preserve Peace Through Strength, and Advance American Influence.

And the first item of business under the first pillar? Secure U.S. Borders and Territory.

This, in other words, sounds like a document written under the Reagan administration and

just one year after we were being told that the way to defeat terrorism was to stop saying

jihad and shariah.

The tax reform bill will (hopefully) be a major Christmas present for conservatives

everywhere.

However, this definitely qualifies as a stocking stuffer.

Trump Eviscerates Publication After Fake News Story About Gorsuc - Duration: 3:11.

Trump Eviscerates Publication After Fake News Story About Gorsuch Makes the Rounds

If theres one lesson the mainstream media should have learned by now, its this: Dont

publish fake news about President Donald Trump.

Because if you do, hes going to call you out on it every time.

One such news outlet just learned that valuable lesson.

The Washington Post had published a piece Tuesday titled, Trump talked about rescinding

Gorsuchs nomination. In the piece, the Washington Post talked about how earlier this

year, Trump had reconsidered appointing Judge Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court.

According to the article which relies overwhelmingly on sources that are not named

but are allegedly close to the action Trump was upset that Gorsuch had distanced himself

from Trump in a meeting in February.

The report had also mentioned that Trump didnt feel like Gorsuch would be loyal to

him.

However, after the article was published, Trump took to Twitter to voice his thoughts

and they were not complimentary to the Post.

He said that he had never wavered from Gorsuch and that the report was fake news.

Additionally, he ended it by saying that The unnamed sources dont exist!

This definitely isnt the only time Trump has gone after fake news not even

this week.

Just a day later, Trump took to Twitter to talk about Republicans proposed tax cuts,

and brought up the fake news outlets again.

The Fake News outlets are very real.

Even recently, CNN has been caught spreading fake news about the Presidents son,

Donald Trump Jr.

This is one of the reasons Americans are turning to non-traditional forms of media such like

Conservative Tribune, the Rush Limbaugh Show, and other conservative outlets.

Americans simply just dont trust the mainstream media to give them the whole story.

Maybe The Washington Post will learn its lesson after this.

But we highly doubt it.

The media has one goal, and thats to destroy Trumps presidency any way they can.

We just dont think theyve figured out yet, though, that this is a president who

will fight back.

Trump May Delay Signing Tax Bill Until Early Next Year - Duration: 2:49.

Trump May Delay Signing Tax Bill Until Early Next Year

As the House prepares to hold its second vote on the final version of the Republican tax

plan, Fox Business and Dow Jones Newswires are reporting that President Donald Trump

might wait until early next year to sign the bill once it reaches his desk.

His reason?

By delaying the signing, Trump would effectively push certain spending cuts to programs like

Medicare until 2019.

At issue are so-called "pay as you go," or "pay-go," budget rules that could be triggered

by deficits in the tax bill.

Congressional Republicans are preparing a separate fix to waive the rules after they

finish the tax bill.

But - given their already jam-packed legislative schedule - if Congress fails to pass the waiver

before its year-end recess, one way to delay the cuts would be to wait until January to

sign the bill.

If successful, the waiver would likely be attached to Congress's 'continuing resolution'

bill that would keep the government funded through Jan. 19.

After the House finishes the Senate-approved version of the tax bill on Wednesday, Congress

has to complete work on a bill known as a "continuing resolution," or "CR," to fund

the government when current spending provisions expire Friday.

"If we can get 'pay-go' waived in the CR, we will sign the tax bill this year," said

Gary Cohn, director of the White House National Economic Council, at an event Wednesday morning

hosted by media company Axios.

"The president would like to sign the tax bill."

Mr. Cohn described the budget rule complication as "a technical issue."

However, Trump needs to be careful: CNBC confirmed that if Trump waits more than 10 days before

signing the bill, it will automatically receive a veto.

To be sure, NEC chief Gary Cohn said lawmakers wouldn't allow funding to lapse after Friday.

"We're going to get a CR in the next two days, and Congress is going to be on their way home

by the weekend," he said.

Trump Stops Speech and Asks Ben Carson to Pray, Lets Entire Room - Duration: 4:47.

Trump Stops Speech and Asks Ben Carson to Pray, Lets Entire Room Know Exactly Who Needs

to Hear it

The GOP-led tax reform bill that passed Wednesday was a celebratory occasion for Republicans

an occasion that President Donald Trump kicked off with a prayer.

After asking Housing and Urban Development secretary Ben Carson to lead the Cabinet meeting

in prayer, Trump urged the reporters present to stay and potentially learn something from

the experience.

You need the prayer more than I do I think.

You may be the only ones.

Maybe a good solid prayer and theyll be honest, Trump told reporters.

We thank you for the president and Cabinet members who are courageous, Carson said

during the prayer, adding that the Trump administration has opted to face the winds of controversy

in order to provide a better future for those who come behind us.

Carson, a former neurosurgeon who used to pray before every surgery, thanked the Lord

for the unity in Congress used to pass the tax reform bill that will allow the economy

to expand.

And we hope that that unity will spread even beyond party lines so that people recognize

that we have a nation that is worth saving, and recognize that nations divided against

themselves cannot stand, Carson added.

In this time of discord, distrust and dishonesty we ask that you would give us the spirit of

gratitude, compassion and common sense.

Many Twitter users were entertained by Trumps blunt jab directed at the media.

However, Trump wasnt done yet, as he tweeted early Thursday morning slamming the Fake

News Media who are actively trying to smear the tax bill.

The Massive Tax Cuts, which the Fake News Media is desperate to write badly about so

as to please their Democrat bosses, will soon be kicking in and will speak for themselves,

Trump wrote.

Companies are already making big payments to workers.

Dems want to raise taxes, hate these big Cuts!

As reported by The Western Journal, the House passed the GOP tax bill Wednesday with a 224-201

vote.

No Democrats voted in favor of the reform, while 12 Republicans voted against it.

The Senate passed the GOP-led tax reform bill early Wednesday morning with 51 GOP senators

voting for it and 48 Democrats against, in a straight party-line vote, but had to send

it back to the House for a re-vote after the Senate parliamentary discovered specific budget

violations.

Major corporations responded to the news of the vote by offering bonuses and pay increases

to employees.

AT&T is reportedly set to provide a $1,000 bonus to its over 200,000 employees upon Trumps

signage of the bill, according to Fox Business.

Congress, working closely with the President, took a monumental step to bring taxes paid

by U.S. businesses in line with the rest of the industrialized world, Randall Stephenson,

AT&T chairman and CEO Randall Stephenson said in a statement.

This tax reform will drive economic growth and create good-paying jobs.
