UN Votes 128-9 To Condemn US Decision On Jerusalem, Trump's Response Is PURE GOLD - Duration: 3:48.UN Votes 128-9 To Condemn US Decision On Jerusalem, Trump's Response Is PURE GOLD
On Thursday, all eyes were on the United Nations as it prepared to vote on a resolution condemning
President Donald Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel by moving
the U.S. Embassy.
When all was said and done, the UN voted 128-9 against President Trump.
However, his response was pure gold.Ahead of Thursday's vote, U.S. Ambassador to the
U.N. Nikki Haley warned that the U.S. would be "watching" who went against the president.
Additionally, President Trump told the press on Wednesday, "We're watching those votes.
Let them vote against us.
We'll save a lot.
We don't care.
But this isn't like it used to be, where they could vote against you and then you pay
them hundreds of millions of dollars and nobody knows what they're doing."
On Tuesday, Haley had tweeted that "the U.S. will be taking names" of the countries
that vote to support the resolution and that Trump had asked her to report back on the
nations "who voted against us."
She also penned a letter to most of the 193 U.N. member states, in which she warned the
U.S. would retaliate against countries that vote in favor of the resolutions.
Trump, during a Cabinet meeting in Washington on Wednesday, said: "We're watching those
votes.
Let them vote against us."
"We'll save a lot," he said.
"We don't care."
[Source: NBC News] Haley, in a scathing statement before Thursday's
vote, said the U.S. would remember who stood with them and raised the issue of American
financial support for the U.N.
"The United States will remember this day in which it was singled out for attack in
the General Assembly for the very act of exercising our right as a sovereign nation," she said.
"We will remember it when we are called upon to once again make the world's largest
contribution to the United Nations," Haley warned.
"And we will remember it when so many countries come calling on us, as they so often do, to
pay even more and to use our influence for their benefit," Haley added.
"America will put our embassy in Jerusalem.
No vote in the United Nations will make any difference on that."
Still, when the final vote came in on Thursday, it was not the news Trump wanted to hear.
The final result of the vote is in, and it was not in favor of Trump.
In fact, the U.N. voted overwhelmingly to condemn his Jerusalem decision.
How bad was it?
The resolution passed with 128 nations voting to disapprove Trump's stand with Israel,
while only nine supported the president.
In addition, 35 countries abstained.
[Source: IJR] While the vote was a major slap in the face
to the Trump administration, it holds no actual weight because the U.S. has veto power, and
in response, Trump has effectively said that he "does not care" which way the UN voted
because it will be vetoed. The vote serves as an important indicator, though, as to which
foreign governments stand with the United States and our sovereignty, and which foreign
bodies do not.
Needless to say, former President Barack Obama never would have stood up to the UN this way.
He was also too busy kowtowing to foreign leaders to back our closest ally, Israel.
President Trump, on the other hand, puts America and her allies first.
This is a welcome departure from what we endured during the eight years of the Obama administration,
to be sure.

Developing: Trump Personally Declares War on UN, Doubles Down on Haley Statement. - Duration: 2:48.Developing: Trump Personally Declares War on UN, Doubles Down on Haley Statement.
The Arab nations of the world are not happy with America's decision to recognize Jerusalem
as the capital of Israel… but President Donald Trump and U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley
just sent an epic message that was heard loud and clear at the United Nations.
Earlier this month, Trump stunned the world by announcing that the U.S. was recognizing
Jerusalem as Israel's capital and would be moving its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.
In response, the United Nations tried to undermine that decision with a resolution scolding America.
Instead of caving in, Haley and Trump doubled down, and drew a clear line in the sand.
Haley firmly pointed out that the United States gives huge sums of money to nations around
the world — and if the U.N. really wanted to tell America where to put its own embassy,
the stream of cash would probably stop.
"The United States will not be told by any country where we can put our embassy," she
declared on Twitter.
"At the UN we're always asked to do more & give more," the tough former governor
continued in a public post.
"So, when we make a decision, at the will of the American people, about where to locate
OUR embassy, we don't expect those we've helped to target us."
Then she issued a warning to anti-Israel nations: The free money train doesn't go on forever.
"On Thursday there'll be a vote criticizing our choice," she stated.
"The US will be taking names."
Haley can easily hold her own, but Trump decided to make sure her message resonated strongly.
At a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Trump backed his ambassador, and reiterated the stern warning.
"I like the message that Nikki sent yesterday at the United Nations for all of these nations
that take our money and then they vote against us at the Security Council, or they vote against
us potentially at the (general) assembly," he said.
"They take hundreds of millions of dollars and even billions of dollars, and then they
vote against us.
Well, we're watching those votes," he declared, according to The Hill.
"Let them vote against us, we'll save a lot.
We don't care."
Haley and Trump's message was obvious: The weak Obama era is over, and there's a new
sheriff in town.
Two of them, actually.
"Our great citizens who love this country are tired of this country being taken advantage
of – we're not going to be taken advantage of any longer," Trump declared.
"This isn't like it used to be where they could vote against you, and then you pay them
hundreds of millions of dollars and nobody knows what they're doing," the president
continued.

Tom Hanks says he would refuse an invitation from Trump to screen 'The Post' at The White House - Duration: 2:07.Tom Hanks is the star of a new movie about the release of the top secret Pentagon Papers.
Given the movie's content and how it deals with the American media, Hanks says that he's
not interested in screening the film at the Trump White House if asked.
When asked by The Hollywood Reporter if he'd respond positively to a request to screen
his new film, "The Post," at the White House, Hanks cited the events in Charlottesville,
the president's recent meeting with Navajo veterans and the Trump administration's
treatment of the media, which often calls most outlets "fake news," as the reason
for his reluctance.
"I don't think I would.
Because I think that at some point — look, I didn't think things were going to be this
way last November.
I would not have been able to imagine that we would be living in a country where neo-Nazis
are doing torchlight parades in Charlottesville [Va.] and jokes about Pocahontas are being
made in front of the Navajo code talkers.
And individually we have to decide when we take to the ramparts," he said.
"You don't take to the ramparts necessarily right away, but you do have to start weighing
things.
You may think: 'You know what?
I think now is the time.'
This is the moment where, in some ways, our personal choices are going to have to reflect
our opinions.
We have to start voting, actually, before the election.
So, I would probably vote not to go."
"The Post,' directed by Steven Spielberg, depicts the story of the Washington Post's
decision in the 1970s to publish the top secret Pentagon Papers, which held details about
the United State's involvement in the Vietnam War.
The paper ultimately decided to publish the documents despite pressure from then-president
Richard Nixon not to.
Hanks plays the paper's editor, Ben Bradlee.
While most may not have heard of a movie screening at the White House, it's actually something
that happens often for movies hoping to get a small boon to their publicity.
The White House family theater is located in the East Wing of the address and is typically
a place for the president and his or her family to watch films.
Studios often provide the White House with screenings upon request.
It's worth noting that Donald Trump has not actually asked to screen "The Post"
in the White House.

What The Tax Win Means For President Donald Trump, Now And In 2020 - Duration: 6:48.Washington by securing his first major legislative victory Wednesday President
Donald Trump demonstrated he's capable of working with his own party in
Congress and added another plank to his re-election platform the two parties
will spend much of the next 11 months in the two years after that fighting over
whether the 1.5 trillion dollars Republican written tax cut is the best
catalyst for the economy whether more of the relief should have been distributed
to the working and middle classes and whether it should have included its
repeal of Obamacare raise tax on people who don't buy health insurance
it is a fundamental challenge to this presidency can we communicate the good
news of the president's economic reforms to counter Democratic spin in the other
direction that may determine whether or not the president is reelected in 2020
said Michael Caputo who advised Trump's 2016 campaign I believe that we are
losing that war the message war he added the public is repeating Democratic
talking points true or false it's up to the Republicans now right now
because it's almost too late to move forward with an assertive and effective
communications plan this much is clear Trump and Republicans in Congress now
have a marquee achievement at the center of a shared economic and electoral
agenda it's rocket fuel for the economy Trump
said Wednesday as he previewed the basic contrast Republicans will draw with
Democrats in the midterms in the next presidential election
unfortunately the Democrats don't like to see tax cutting they like to see tax
increases the sugar rush of victory has brought
Trump and GOP leaders in Congress together in ways that might have seemed
unimaginable just a couple of months ago back then Trump like to rip Senate
Majority Leader Mitch McConnell r-ky for failing to repeal Obamacare but on
Wednesday he heaped praise on McConnell on Twitter for doing a fantastic job
both strategically and politically and the president said I could not have
asked for a better or more talented partner
Quinn for the president because the politics of a tax cut are never bad said
one official from Trump's 2016 campaign
the popularity of a tax cut it's a big win for him in polling his congressional
coalition together which he wasn't able to do up to this point on anything major
the official added
that could bode well for of efforts on an infrastructure package
in a developing deal that would enhance border security and extend protections
for people who were brought into the US illegally when they were children House
Speaker Paul Ryan r-wi is wants to rewrite the Medicare and Medicaid
programs and Trump is still negotiating with Congress over how to keep the
government funded through next September extending the children's health
insurance program in a host of other issues that weren't dealt with this year
Capitol Hill needed a win and they got it incredibly tough agenda faces the
administration when they return in January but they've proven they can get
vital things done said a person in former White House chief strategist
Steve bannon's Kemp adding that the tax cut dovetails perfectly with his
national security plan in making American industry more competitive
globally
Trump's supporters say enacting the tax cut is invaluable in part because his
2020 re-election hopes hinge heavily on Republicans ability to keep control of
Congress in the midterms if they lose either chamber his agenda will stall if
they lose both the House and Senate his first term could devolve into an
impeachment fight
now GOP candidate tangible achievement 2.2 as part of a
narrative of economic growth under full Republican control of Washington
but there's reason for Trump allies to worry that Republicans have let
Democrats get the jump on framing the law as a giveaway to the wealthiest
Americans an NBC / Wall Street Journal poll found that 24% of respondents think
it's a good idea while 41 percent think it's a bad idea
Jim Dean chairman of the liberal group democracy for America predicted that
rather than helping Trump keep Republican control of Congress the tax
cut bill will give Democrats the weapon they need to take over
it's true that they're giving millionaires billionaires and big
business a Christmas gift as they RAM the Trump tax scam through Congress
today Donald Trump and congressional Republicans are also handing Democrats
the perfect weapon for dismembering the gops House and Senate majorities in 2018
dean said in a statement one battleground will be over the
perception of a cut in the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 21 percent
Democrats argue that the windfall will be distributed to shareholders rather
than being invested in new jobs and some heavyweight publicly traded companies
have confirmed that's their plan but Trump will be able to point to other
firms that are spending on job creation
phillip bloomberg CEO of the privately held bloomberg partners said one of his
firm's companies Blumberg grain will invest in new facilities in ames iowa
Dothan Alabama in the Miami area in large part because of the tax cut those
plants will create 250 jobs he said
a past donor to Democrats who says he didn't vote for Trump
Bloomberg credited the president and administration officials with strong
advocacy for our expansion in overseas markets
there is a sea change vacating for business as opposed to the
glazed-over look he got from Barack Obama and Bush administration officials
he said
if the tax cut in Trump's recive efforts to cut federal
regulations combined to spur the economy Republicans may be able to overcome the
headwinds of the president's poor current approval rating in an energized
Democratic base
there's nothing wrong with the tooth midterm elections for Republicans that
robust growth 3.5% or more robust growth quarter after quarter can't fix
he said 2018 is going to have a huge impact on 2020 if we don't keep both
chambers this could be looked back on as the most significant achievement of his
presidency

Hillary Celebrates Alabama Election by Bashing Trump, Then Don J - Duration: 3:24.Hillary Celebrates Alabama Election by Bashing Trump, Then Don Jr Steps In
Not long after Democrats pulled off an upset win in the Alabama special election, failed
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton thought it would be a good idea to offer her
brilliant insights to Republicans.
Democrat Doug Jones recently defeated Republican Roy Moore to fill Attorney General Jeff Sessions
vacant seat in deep-red Alabama.
With many liberals claiming the victory was a referendum against President Donald Trump,
Clinton couldnt resist the opportunity to chime in with the worst response imaginable.
For me, this was a very important turning point in basically holding President Trump
and his most vitriolic, destructive advisers, led by Steve Bannon, accountable, Clinton
said, according to The Daily Caller.
Clinton lost the 2016 presidential election to Trump with a vote of 304 to 227 in the
electoral college, and shes been on never-ending book tour blaming everyone and everything
for her embarrassing election loss ever since.
It didnt take long for Donald Trump Jr., the presidents eldest son, to fire back
at Clinton for her tone deaf comments.
Replying to a tweet from True Pundit on Friday that linked to an article on Clintons comments,
Trump Jr. wrote, Hillary giving advice on winning, along with some appropriately
placed laughing emojis.
Trump Jr. also included a dig at CNN, saying he would trust Clintons advice on winning
elections over the fake news network that continues to botch big stories and mislead
the American people.
Democrats managed to beat Moore, a candidate ensnared with allegations of sexual misconduct
from nearly four decades ago, and Clinton tried to take a victory lap as if she had
anything to do with it.
Not only did Clinton get beat by then-Senator Obama in the 2008 Democratic presidential
primary, she was beaten handily in last years election by Trump.
Trump Jr. has fired over numerous tweets over the course of the year calling out Clinton
for her hypocrisy and factually incorrect statements, and he absolutely roasted her
again with his tweet Friday.
If theres anyone who shouldnt be gloating about winning elections, its the woman
who lost two presidential runs for the White House.
Please like and share this story if you agree with Donald Trump Jr.s comments about Hillary
Clinton giving advice on winning elections!

Black Unemployment Rate Under Trump is the Lowest it Has Been in - Duration: 4:08.Black
Unemployment Rate Under Trump is the Lowest it Has Been in 17 Years
The national unemployment rate for black Americans, ages 16 and over, is the lowest it has been
in 17 years, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
In November 2016, the unemployment rate for black people was at 8 percent, and in November
2017 that rate dropped to 7.3 percent a percentage not seen since the months of September,
October and November 2000.
As reported by CNS News, black unemployment rate during the Bush and Obama eras fluctuated
between 7 and 17 percent.
BLS data also shows that labor force participation among African-Americans rose from 61.9 percent
in November 2016 to 62.2 percent in November 2017.
Unemployment rate for the Hispanic demographic fell from 5.7 percent to 4.7 percent the
lowest its been in 44 years, while the unemployment rate for whites and Asians hovered
around 3 percent, roughly the same as one year prior.
The overall unemployment rate has also seen a significant decrease under the Trump administration,
dropping to 4.1 percent, a 17-year low ,The Daily Signal reported.
The White House praised the results, citing President Donald Trumps economic agenda
as the catalyst for the positive results.
All Americans continue to see results from the presidents bold economic agenda,
White spokesperson Lindsay Waters stated.
The Daily Signal noted that the U.S. economy surpassed 3 percent growth for multiple months,
even though critics of Trump claimed that 3 percent growth would be impossible.
The lefts problem is that they said there is no way to grow the economy at 3 percent,
and now they say its because of Obama, Stephen Moore, an economist who advised the
Trump campaign, told The Daily Signal.
Every economic indicator, with no exceptions, shows we are looking at forward growth.
Its very positive, and a dramatic improvement.
News of a historically low unemployment rate adds to the extensive list of economic accomplishments
under Trumps tenure.
As reported by The Western Journal, a November report released by the Conference Board showed
consumer confidence rating at 129.5 the highest recorded rating since November 2000
when the rating was 132.6.
Moreover, in November, Reuters reported that the U.S. economy grew at a faster rate in
the third quarter of 2017 than initially forecasted by economic experts.
Gross domestic product reportedly reached 3.3 percent, higher than the original estimate
of 3.0 percent, the fastest recorded growth in the past three years.
On Tuesday, Trump touted the accomplishments on Twitter.
Consumer Confidence is at an All-Time High, along with a Record High Stock Market,
the president wrote.
Unemployment is at a 17 year low.
MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
Working to pass MASSIVE TAX CUTS (looking good).

Assembly will reportedly hold an emergency session on Thursday to discuss
president Trump's decision to recognize
Jerusalem as a capital of Israel at that meeting the General Assembly is set to vote on a resolution calling on the Trump administration
to withdraw that decision according to Reuters the
vote comes on the heels of a UN Security Council vote seeking to nullify any move to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital the US
Which wields veto power on the council rejected that resolution?
Effectively killing it unlike on the Security Council
However the u.s.
Does not have the power to veto resolutions put before the General Assembly?
Riad Mansur the palestinian envoy to the UN said he hoped the new resolution would have overwhelming support in the General Assembly
According to Reuters the General Assembly resolution is not legally binding and the US would not be obligated to abide by the measure
But if it passed the resolution would exert political pressure on the US Trump's decision earlier this month to recognize
Jerusalem as the capital of Israel prompted Swift criticism from world leaders
particularly in Arab and Muslim majority countries who warned that the move could undermine stability in the region
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said last week that trumps decision effectively disqualified the u.s.

That declaration further complicates Trump's vow to oversee Israel Palestine peace negotiations
Which he has called the ultimate deal
