I am migrating all my photos from Apple Photos to Google Photos.  Some of the pictures (ones taken with a Canon Rebel) are importing with the correct date.  Photos taken with a different GPS enabled digital camera are not importing with the right date and the locations are missing.  What must I do to make sure ALL photos are imported with their CORRECT date and with location data?  This looks like a very long standing issue.  Can Google comment on whether it's being addressed or if it's been fixed?  Thank you!

It is difficult to answer this question without access to an example so that I can look at the data included in the photo and to try and replicate the issue.
 
Is it possible to share an example by uploading manually to Google Drive and sharing a link to that copy. Sharing in this way is the only way to guarantee an exact copy.
 
I will also need to know how you are uploading the photos to Google Photos, desktop Backup and Sync or iPhone/iPad Backup & sync.

When you accidentally tapped "Add to library" the easiest way to remove the photos is by going to https://photos.google.com/search/_tra_ where the photos are sorted by upload date. All the accidentally uploaded photos should be together somewhere on top.

I’m sorry, it’s not possible to recover videos permanently deleted from the Google Photos Trash. However, you may install to your Android device a deleted video recovery app https://play.google.com/store/search?q=recover%20deleted%20video&c=apps and run a scan for anything to recover.
 
In addition I recommend that you contact the Google Drive support team to see if any deleted files may be recovered. When I do that it shows only a select few pictures along with videos I've manually downloaded, which is what happens on other apps. I'm running Android 10, but this problem occured a while after I updated. The backup and sync is activated and I can see all of the photos in Google photos itself.

I did look at Google photos and no luck. Nothing in Verizon. I'm not tech savvy and so I let the Verizon employee do everything. I have a feeling she may not have checked all of the backup before doing the reset.

If you select multiple photos from Google Photos in a web form, only one is selected and the rest are ignored. This is happening in the most recent versions and wasn't the case in the past.

- Make sure Photos app is on the latest version by opening it on your Android device.
- Go to a web page where you can upload more than one image.
- Browse to your device photos and select Google Photos
- Select more than one photo and upload.

Only one image from all selected is uploaded.
