We are mostly user volunteers here, and have no access to accounts, etc.
This seems to be the most comprehensive source of data on recovery of Gmail addresses.
Excerpt:
Lost Password Recovery. The recover process can be started in either of two ways:
- Go to the Gmail sign in page at https://mail.google.com/ and after entering your e-mail address click the "Forgot password? link.
- Go directly to the start of the recovery process at https://accounts.google.com/signin/recovery
Try all possible recovery emails and recovery phones which you have access to. If possible, log into the recovery site from an IP address you have used previously.
Another thought, is that you MAY have saved your Google account password in the password management facility of a browser you don't use very often (Firefox, IE, Edge, Chrome...). If you think this is a possibility you might search ~password management~ with the name of the specific browser.
You will find more expertise on recovering accounts in the Gmail support forum.

Yes it is possible. Method one: if you have one account on different devices, then open Photos, and enable the AutoBackup option in the settings. All files will be uploaded to Photos in one account from different devices.

Welcome to the Google Photos Help Community!
Could you please try the following steps in a sequence to see if it helps resolve the issue:
- Clear your browser's cache and cookies.
- Try Incognito/private window and check if similar issue appears.
- Disable browser extensions one by one and see if this helps resolve the issue.
- Test to see if the issue appears on a different browser.
- Sign out and sign into Google Photos to check if the issue persists. This won't affect already backed up photos to Google Photos. Simultaneously, disable and enable the back up & sync option and then try uploading the photos.
Let me know how this works.

Thanks for posting in the Google Photos Help Community!
You may turn off the back up & sync option in Google Photos to see that it doesn't access your device photos. Alternatively, you can follow the below mentioned steps to stop Google Photos to access files on your device:
- On your iOS device, go to Settings.
- Scroll all the way down to see the list of installed 3rd party apps.
- Tap the application you want to view its accesses and permissions and simply toggle off the one (Google Photos app) you don't want to allow to access your device files.

It sounds like you're unable to view/install the new update in Google Photos though the download was successful from the Playstore. If so, I'd suggest you try the below mentioned steps which may help resolve this issue:
- Try clearing the cache and data of the Google App: Settings > Apps > Photos App > Storage > Clear Cache and then tap on Manage Space > Clear All Data.
- Log out from all the Google accounts, restart the device and log into Google Photos app using the exact email account. Then try updating the app from Playstore and check if you're able to view/install the update.

Hello mari, when you open the shared album there is a cloud icon with a down arrow. If you click on that without selecting any photos it will add the whole album to your library, Peter

Then Click on the More Icon
> Preferences > Sync My Drive to this computer > Sync only these folders.

To assist you better, could you please help me with the screenshots of the photos from your device's photo folder and the photo in Google Photos?
Note: Google Photos backs up the photo in the same way how they appear on your device. It isn't possible to edit or crop any images automatically when they get backed up from your device.

Are these photos that used to be in Google Photos (you either saw them at photos.google.com, or in the Photos app on a device other than the ones they were originally uploaded from)? If so, first check the trash, deleted images will be there for 60 days.
If they are not in the trash and you're sure they were in the Google account before, there have been some reports of Google Drive being able to restore user’s deleted photos. Below are steps that another user posted hereSteps:
- Go to Google Drive help and click on contact us.
- Select any option, but selecting Missing or deleted files is recommended. Then select Request chat option.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: Don't tell them that you are trying to restore Google Photos.

I understand your concern and this is certainly not the experience we want you to have while using Google Photos. I'd like to let you know that it isn't possible to recover the photos which are deleted from the trash folder in Google Photos. As an alternative, could you please make sure if you're able to find those photos in web version or the Android version of Google Drive under Google Photos folder? Try logging in to the same Google Accounts which is used to sign in to your Google Photos.
Also, you may try the below alternative steps to find the photos:
- get.google.com/albumarchive.
- other online photo or file storage services you use (e.g. Dropbox, OneDrive, iCloud).

Thanks for writing on the Google Photos Help Community.
I'd like to let you know that All photos and videos uploaded from a Pixel phone are stored for free in Google Photos at original quality, whether it was taken by the camera, captured in a screenshot, or downloaded from another app. Where as any photos and videos that are uploaded from other devices (Nexus, Desktop, iPhone, other Android) will count against the storage quota of the account if done at original quality and will be free at High Quality (which compresses photos).
To narrow this down, I'd suggest you to help me with the below information:
- Could you please let me know how are the photos uploaded to Google Photos (are they uploaded from your new Pixel device or any other devices)?
- Where are the photos uploaded (are they uploaded Google Photos or Google Drive)?
- Are you able to see the photos in the Google Photos app?
- Could you please make sure if the Google Photos option is turned on in your Google Drive app?

Assistant uses only your existing photos and videos. To find them - open the Photos, and select the date when the photo or video was taken, you will find your files there. After that, you will be able to create any movies, animations and collages. You can also edit the movie created by Assistant.

I see that you want to recover the deleted photos. To narrow down the possibilities, I'd suggest you to help me with the below information:
- Could you please make sure if you've backed up the photos to your Google Photos app?
- Could you please check if the photos have been deleted accidentally and moved to trash folder in the Google Photos app? This is because when the photos are backed up and deleted from the Google Photos app, they will be deleted even from the device gallery app.
Just to make sure, are you trying to recover the photos which are deleted from the trash folder in Google Photos? If yes, I'd like to let you know that it isn't possible to recover the photos which are deleted from trash folder in Google Photos. If the photos are visible in the trash folder, to recover them I'd suggest you to follow the below steps:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Photos app.
- At the top left, tap Menu > Trash.
- Touch and hold the photo or video you want to recover.
- At the bottom, tap Restore. The photo or video will be back:
- In your phone
- Into the "Photos" section of the app.
- Into any albums it was in.
