Trump news on Youtube Nov 25 2018

Turns out the election's rainbow wave was even bigger than we thought.

Republicans are pushing for an end to LGBTQ-friendly policies in youth programs and a North American

trade deal.

Taiwan votes on marriage equality this weekend.

And the international community is mobilizing, a little bit, to protect queer citizens from

a government purge in Tanzania.

We'll have the week's top LGBTQ news stories and how they affect you on Weekly Debrief.

Now that the dust is settling from the election, we're getting a clearer picture of just

how large the rainbow wave truly was.

Over half of the LGBTQ candidates running in the midterm won their races.

That's 244 out of 432 candidates, many to major national offices.

That puts queer leaders in a strong position to protect queer Americans in 2019.

And they'll have their work cut out for them.

Over the last two years there's been a surge in homophobic policies adopted at every level

of government.

An investigation in Iowa has revealed that the Trump administration pushed the youth

training program 4H to drop queer-friendly policies.

4H had previously established guidelines ensuring equal access for LGBTQ youth, but Trump's

Secretary of Agriculture ordered them to reverse course.

Thanks to viewer Max Bader for sending in the tip about that story.

Also this week, Republicans pushed to remove LGBTQ workplace protections from a deal with

Canada and Mexico.

The agreement, which covers a wide range of trade issues, currently includes a non-binding

recommendation that countries work to end employment discrimination.

That's proven too much for Republicans who are insisting it be removed.

The agreement is scheduled to be signed November 30.

Taiwan will vote on marriage equality this weekend, and at the moment the polls look

encouraging.

One survey showed support at around 70%.

If the measure passes, Taiwan will become the first country in Asia to recognize the

freedom to marry.

And the international community is reacting strongly to government crackdowns on LGBTQ

citizens in Tanzania.

With some authorities there calling for a purge of queer Tanzanians, this week the World

Bank and the country of Denmark announced that they will withhold financial support

for the country.

Human rights groups are calling on other donors, like the US, to follow suit.

For this week's action item, follow the work of the nonprofit Equality Now.

They're keeping a close eye on the situation on Tanzania, which is quite dire, and they're

applying pressure to governments and financial institutions to withhold money until Tanzanian

government ends the violence against queer people.

As always, let me know about stories that need covering @mattbaume on Twitter and in

the YouTube comments.

TRUMP FAMILY MAKES DEVASTATING ANNOUNCEMENT – NATION STUNNED

The First Family was hit was some especially difficult news that they were not expecting.

It's particularly devastating to one of them that now, without warning, Donald Trump

Jr is trying to come with the grips with the sudden and unimaginable void in his life.

The First Son took his grief to Instagram in a heartbreaking post where he shared his

mourning and memories.

As the most reliable and balanced news aggregation service in the world, RWN offers the following

information published by the trusted news source Faith Family America:

The Trump family is currently mourning the loss of a dear, close friend.

Jason Hairston, a former professional football player who later founded a successful hunting

gear company called KUIU, sadly passed away at only 47 years old.

According to TMZ, the cause of death was immediately unknown.

However, Fox reported that Hairston had been battling CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy)

symptoms since playing as a linebacker.

A post of shock over the sudden loss appeared on Twitter:

"I am absolutely shocked and heartbroken.

??R.I.P. to a legend and forever a role model of mine.

@kuiu Nation will forever miss you Jason Hairston" Later, Don.

Jr. posted a heartwarming tribute for the late NFL player on his Instagram account.

He called Hairston an "inspiration" to the outdoors community and, additionally,

shared his gratitude for the experiences he shared with his old friend.

"Jason, I have no words.

I will always remember our adventures and sharing a campfire with you.

They will be some of my fondest experiences in the outdoors," Don.

Jr. began.

"You were and will continue to be an inspiration to all outdoorsmen and women for generations

to come."

"Thanks for the friendship and the memories buddy," he added.

"I'm going to miss you.

R.I.P."

Hairston appeared to be very close with President Donald Trump's oldest son.

Just weeks before his death, Hairston accompanied Don.

Jr. on a fishing trip in the Yukon.

Don Jr posted a pic of his trip on Instagram with the caption:

Was able to get out on the water for a bit before we left camp in the Yukon.

Caught some great Northern Pike.

Just awesome fish who hit hard and fast.

Love the look on @jasonmhairston's face in the second pic.

That's the "I realize I'm about to lose the fishing competition to Don" look…

Not that anything with this crew would ever get competetive??????????????.

Previously, Hairston has visited the White House with his family.

He has been photographed with both President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.

Please keep the Trump family in your prayers as they are mourning this tragic loss.

BREAKING TRUMP MAKES HIS MOVE AGAINST ROBERT MUELLER - Duration: 13:37.

aBREAKING: TRUMP MAKES HIS MOVE AGAINST ROBERT MUELLER

Robert Mueller turned Donald Trump's life upside down.

The special counsel is working to frame the President.

And he just got one step closer to his goal with this guilty plea.

Robert Mueller Scores A Victory Robert Mueller won an important victory.

He forced former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort to plead guilty to two felony counts.

Mueller won a conviction on eight counts of financial crimes in a trial in Virginia earlier

this month.

Manafort was to face a second trial in Washington, D.C. related to his lobbying work in Ukraine.

However, he cut a deal instead since he was likely to lose again.

Journalists declared Manafort's guilty plea a major development.

That's because Manafort agreed to cooperate with Mueller as part of his deal.

Anti-Trump journalists believe Manafort held the smoking gun.

They think because he worked with pro-Russian politicians in Ukraine that he is the key

to any collusion.

In addition, these fake news reporters bought into the Christopher Steele dossier.

Steele claimed in the dossier that Manafort plotted with the Russians to rig the election.

Manafort had attended the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting with the Russians who were promising

dirt on Hillary.

The meeting turned out to be a waste of time.

The Russians did not turn over any "dirt" on Hillary.

They wanted to lobby the Trump campaign on lifting sanctions against Russian adoption.

But anti-Trump journalists hoped Manafort would provide evidence that Donald Trump,

Jr. told his father about the meeting.

That would allow Mueller to indict Manafort for lying to Congress.

Mueller's Win Falls Apart While the media bragged that Mueller scored

a major victory, they also covered up one truth.

Mueller did not charge Manafort with collusion.

Manafort pleaded guilty to crimes that took place years before he worked for Trump.

Press Secretary Sarah Sanders pointed out Manafort's guilty plea had nothing to do

with Trump's victory.

"This had absolutely nothing to do with the president or his victorious 2016 presidential

campaign," she said.

"It is totally unrelated."

Additionally, Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani noted one point about the deal.

Manafort's lawyers said it had nothing to do with Trump.

They said Manafort had no evidence of collusion.

Giuliani wrote:

ACCORDING TO SOURCES CLOSE TO MANAFORT DEFENSE: "THE COOPERATION AGREE DOES NOT INVOLVE

THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN….THERE WAS NO COLLUSION WITH RUSSIA."

ANOTHER ROAD TRAVELLED BY MUELLER.

SAME CONCLUSION: NO EVIDENCE OF COLLUSION PRESIDENT DID NOTHING WRONG.

Manafort Threatens A Clinton Ally Manafort's deal is trouble for Tony Podesta.

Podesta is the brother of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta.

He worked with Manafort on lobbying in Ukraine.

Prosecutors say Podesta broke the law.

They claim he did not register as a foreign agent.

Manafort pleaded guilty to this law as well.

Many experts believe Manafort did not flip on Trump.

They believe his real value is helping Mueller build a case against Podesta.

We will keep you up to date on any new developments

in this story.

BREAKING HORRIFYING TRUMP IMPEACHMENT ANNOUNCEMENT - Duration: 24:18.

BREAKING: HORRIFYING TRUMP IMPEACHMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

Deep State agents launched their most deadly plan to impeach the President.

But Sean Hannity saw what was coming next.

And he said the ten words that saved Donald Trump from impeachment.

The Deep State Leaks A Bombshell The New York Times sent Washington reeling

when they published a bombshell story.

Their story reported that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein lost his cool after

Donald Trump fired FBI Director James Comey.

Rosenstein could not handle the media blowback after Trump used Rosenstein's memo as the

basis for firing Comey.

He met with disgraced FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, Deep State agent Lisa Page

and other officials.

McCabe wrote a memo detailing how Rosenstein said he would wear a wire to record Trump.

The memo also stated that Rosenstein discussed using the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from

office.

Trump supporters reacted to this story with anger.

But it proved Trump right on a number of fronts.

First, it ended the argument about whether the Deep State exists.

Members of the media claimed Trump was a conspiracy theorist for saying there were rogue forces

in the government out to get him.

McCabe's memo shows Trump was correct.

Additionally, it proved once-and-for-all that the Mueller investigation is corrupt.

Rosenstein appointed Mueller.

The reporting made it clear that Rosenstein wanted to bring down Trump.

Critics believe this proves Rosenstein appointed Mueller with the sole goal of destroying the

President.

Sean Hannity Speaks Up Some Trump supporters demanded that the President

fire Rosenstein.

His actions were disloyal at best, and treasonous at worst.

Other Trump supporters smelled a trap.

Sean Hannity went on the air Friday with a message.

He said Trump should not fire Rosenstein.

"I have a message for the president tonight," Hannity said.

"Under zero circumstances should the president fire anybody."

Hannity claimed his sources let him in on the secret behind the New York Times story.

The leakers wanted to bait Trump into firing Rosenstein weeks before the election.

They hoped it would boost the Democrats and their quest to impeach Donald Trump.

"The president needs to know it is all a setup," Hannity said.

"He needs to know that regardless of whether he steps in or not, and I would argue he should

definitely not, the deep state tonight is crumbling from within at this very hour."

Trump May Still Fire Rosenstein Trump did a radio interview Monday morning

with Geraldo Rivera.

He said he was waiting for all the facts before making a decision.

"I don't want to comment on it until I get all the facts," Trump said.

"I haven't gotten all the facts, but certainly it's being looked at in terms of what took

place.

If anything took place and I'll make a determination sometime later, but I don't have the facts."

Rosenstein denied the story.

But his denial was weak.

He claimed he was being sarcastic when he said he would wear a wire.

Rosenstein also said there was no basis to use the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from

office.

However, that is not the same thing as denying you said it.

We will keep you up to date with any new developments

in

this ongoing story.

Barack Obama Trashes Trump Admin And Americans For Climate Change(VIDEO)!!! - Duration: 12:43.

Barack Obama Trashes Trump Admin And Americans For Climate Change

speaking of President Obama President Obama has his foundation summit in

Chicago yesterday he was talking about the the state of the world for the most

part and when he was speaking about reducing carbon emissions by 30 percent

with available technology as an example he started to take a shot at how the

United States has some problems maybe some mommy issues the reason we don't do

it is because we are still confused blind shrouded with

hate anger racism mommy issues we are fraught with stuff but the thing

that really we have to invest in is people as some news outlets suggested

wrongly that the comments were about the president he was clearly speaking about

talking about reducing carbon emissions according to the reportage there were

650 people there from 41 countries 17 states and 100 of them were from Chicago

and he built that facility and on the south side of Chicago where he said he

really found out who he was as a person of course we want to know what you think

about mommy issues speaking at the Obama foundation this week former President

Obama took a thinly-veiled swipe but President Trump saying America's

progress is hindered by quote hate anger racism and mommy issues you can't make

this stuff up take a look the reason we don't do it is because we are still

confused blind shrouded with hate anger racism mommy issues in a 2014 interview

with former President Bush Hannity Assam why he consistently refused to criticize

his successors take a look at his response why did you make the decision I

mean I could sit here all day and try and get you to comment on President

Obama and I'm not gonna get anywhere correct

cuz I've known you I know you're very what you do why did you make that

decision because I'm sure you have a lot to say I'd have you're not you know you

were we've talked politics before we came in you're very engaged together

what's going on I'm very aware of what's going on I don't think it's good for the

country to have a former president undermine a current president I think

it's bad for the presidency for that matter and joining me now with reaction

salem radio talk show host Larry elder and former chair of the Council of

Economic Advisers to President Obama Austan Goolsbee good evening gentlemen

you know it is rather shocking that a president would come out and criticize a

president the way we've seen President Obama do it so I am going to start with

you Austin you know there's a book the president's Club which I'm sure you're

familiar with and it documents the the unique relationship between presidents

where you know the the the sitting president will have communications with

foreign presidents because their experience is so unique having shared

the Oval Office and those those incredible decisions and burdens that

they carry and so there is a relationship that they have but Oh

President Obama from the last week or two that he you know of the race he took

every day to go out and campaign against Donald Trump he did it in the midterms

it's unheard of is it good for the country as George Bush just said well I

think he kind of makes two things I think for sure in look it's the

Thanksgivings tomorrow in the spirit of Thanksgiving let's hope that everyone

tones down the kind of personal rhetoric and to refer to mommy issues I think

stuff like that is is beyond bounds what would people say if I refuse I refuse or

daddy issues yeah but that way judge the thing is you know that this is in the

context of the President of the United States now saying some outrageous things

what is he responding to he's well for example President Trump calling it

President Obama the most ignorant president in the history of America and

when President Obama was not born in this country things about the present oh

come on okay so you're sayings justified in continuing that no fees are not

justified I'm not judging I'm not saying he's justified he shouldn't do that I

respected George Bush's approach I think that approach President Obama should

take President Vice President Cheney was much more aggressive and negative about

the Obama administration for the entire time and I respected George Bush's

approach okay so I'll go to you let me go to you Larry

what say you we're talking about presidents not vice presidents and Obama

undid the signature achievement of george w bush and that was the war in

iraq when the george bush left office he assumed that there was going to be a

stay behind force between five or ten thousand troops had predicted what would

happen if there was a vacuum obama comes in pulls out every single troop and

george w bush didn't say one word as things got worse in iraq as he predicted

it is certainly true that Vice President Dick Cheney said something but george w

bush didn't say a word ronald reagan retires he goes to Simi

Valley doesn't say a word George Herbert Walker Bush goes to Kennebunkport

doesn't say a word George W Bush goes to Crawford Texas doesn't say a word Jimmy

Carter Bill Clinton Barack Obama never stopped talking a very different

perspective Republican versus a different X presidents and you know what

Austin he may have a point it seems to be the Democrats coming out to and and I

have to say go ahead good what III don't think that that's quite

accurate the only thing else Donald Trump is

unwell it in the sense that Barack Obama did not mention President Trump by name

now President Trump nobody in the country we've talked about take a lesson

in appropriateness and lack of insulted the reasons not to insult people from

President Trump he campaigned his entire campaign was built on personal insults

of his opponents and saying about speaking about the extreme stupidity of

everyone yes you Austin with all due respect that's not the issue were

talking about we're talking about a president who comes out at during

midterms and during his last at the end of his office to do continually attack

the President of the United States and something I'm going to give you the last

word Larry elder okay okay say Austin if it makes me any happier Austin when

President Trump retires in January of 2025 with his 50 million Twitter

followers he will probably have a thing or two to say about his successor well

you were at this Obama event yesterday yes you with them at the event

fundraisers etc you were there and the former president is saying that racism

and mommy issues are contributing to lack of progress in the United States in

his own words Obama listen you have to first understand the audience it's an

audience of about 500 community organizers civic and give ik leaders and

those people that really are about promoting good there is a fork in the

road in this country it's clear you can go down this path of isolationism and

nationalism and populism or you can go down the path of doing good and giving

back in civic engagement community organization and I'll take the path of

doing good so in my opinion who he's speaking to the women of you know the

girls global align the my brother's keeper there's a whole

group of people that are really forming together okay young people that want to

give back to the society so I think you know this little statement was more or

less said in and what I would say in some ways tongue-in-cheek he didn't name

the current president right look I think it's kind of so if we're gonna talk

about racism I have a mixed-race family and the identity politics I think is one

of the biggest drivers of racism so I would throw that in there if I were

President Obama and it's telling that he didn't outraged by it we have the first

biracial president who missed a great opportunity to bring this country

together because of who and what he was half white and half black if anybody has

mommy issues it's the president I've never heard him talk about his mom

President Obama and to allege racism and mommy issues he was talking about the

president is beyond the pale you you think that that the president the former

president I should say did not well did not mention his mother deliberately I'm

just saying you know if anybody has I've never heard him talk about his mother I

just never in a public in a public forum you just think somebody has mommy issues

perhaps he should know I'm just gonna say into the holiday season you're much

better than that let's and and we should just be clear

you should read his two books which is all about his mom's out of it and bring

the politics back in it here's here he is talking about 2020 and the

possibility of metal or Rorick of what he thinks of him it felt as if he based

his statements and his positions on what he believed the reason I was able to

make a connection with a sizable portion of the country was people had a sense

that I said what I meant interesting obviously he's seen as a rising star in

your party yeah there's no question and I was quoted on this in the recent

political article on him that the excitement around bet O'Rourke is

probably nothing like we've seen since RFK and Barack Obama

there is a huge electricity in the air the

grass-roots just can't wait to support this guy whether he will run whether he

will be able to get through a primary whether he could be our next president

we have no idea but there was no question someone who is literally a

Democrat that has done that well in Texas there is certainly a national map

for him but he lost it's hard to stay relevant

when you don't have a platform so what's gonna be interesting to see is how does

he stay relevant what does he do does he run for office as he started

foundation he's going to have to keep himself in front of the public eye the

question is what's his next move yeah I agree I think also one of the reasons

that he's attractive one of the reasons a lot of Democrats including President

Obama was attractive when he first ran is that he doesn't have a record really

you know he was a state senator so people can project on them things that

they want and see what they want to see I'm a Notre Dame alum many bad years in

football and you'd always hear so the coach saying well we've got a great

offensive line or we've got a great quarterback or a great receiver and they

would still lose you know the day you've got to put points on the board there's

something to say what you know just to segue off of what bill just said the

Democratic Party has not elected a president since JFK over the age of 52

so they liked young and aspirational the Republican Party has not had someone

under the age of 55 so I would agree we like hope we like change we like

aspiration we like excitement and you know in the Republican Party the first

to experience and so we'll see what happens we'll see thank you

god bless you and God bless america

you
