The Trump administration will announce its decision on whether the United States will

pull out of the Iran nuclear deal on Tuesday.

President Trump tweeted that he will make the announcement at 2 p.m. Eastern Time from

the White House.

He has long threatened to pull out of the 2015 deal,...which lifted certain economic

sanctions on Iran in exchange for curbs on Tehran's nuclear program.

The announcement comes ahead of the May 12th deadline in which he has to decide whether

to continue the sanctions waiver or leave the agreement.

Sen. McCain Does Not Get The News He Wants To Hear In Fight With Trump - Duration: 4:29.

Sen. McCain Does Not Get The News He Wants To Hear In Fight With Trump.

Arizona Sen. John McCain was dealt a tough blow in his ongoing fight with President Donald

Trump.

The president has been silent on Sen. McCain since the elder statesman has been on his

deathbed with a rare form of brain cancer.

But that did not stop a supporter of both the senator and the president from calling

out McCain, on his wish to keep President Trump from his funeral.

Retiring Republican Senator Orrin Hatch of Utah told Politico that he wants Sen. McCain

to invite President Trump to his funeral.

The 84-year-old senator said that he finds it "ridiculous" that Sen. McCain wants

to carry his grudge against the president to his grave.

"I think it's ridiculous," Sen. Hatch said.

"Well, he's the President of the United States, and he's a very good man.

But it's up to [McCain].

I think John should have his own wishes fulfilled with regard to who attends the funeral."

Hatch also said that he does not think that McCain will return to the Senate.

"That's what I've been told," Hatch said.

"I don't know.

I hope he does, I hope he can."

After the Politico story ran, Sen. Hatch reversed course and said, via a spokesman, that he

"spoke out of turn about Senator McCain's status," spokesman Matt Whitlock said.

"He's been pleased to hear reports that Senator McCain is in good spirits, and hopes

to see him back in Washington soon."

But the truth is that Sen. McCain's inner circle is making his funeral arrangements

because his health is deteriorating quickly, The Daily Mail reported.

Meghan McCain, who is the senator's daughter and a co-host of ABC's "The View," said

on Twitter on Friday that she was headed home to Arizona to be with her family.

Meghan has been absent from "The View" for more than a week as she deals with her

father's health.

"Thank you all again for your prayers, patience, understanding, and compassion during this

time.

It means the world to me and my entire family," she wrote.

She added that she will be "going home to Arizona to be with my family will be back

on TheView Tuesday."

On Instagram, she shared a picture of her and her father and said "My father @SenJohnMcCain

is in stable condition – he continues to inspire me every day with his intense grit

and determination.

Thank you to the doctors at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix and to everyone who is praying for

him.

🇺🇸."

In excerpts from his new memoir "The Restless Wave," McCain took some parting shots at

the president.

The excerpts were released days before it was reported that the senator's office had

informed the White House that President Trump was persona non grata at the senator's funeral.

"I'm not sure what to make of President Trump's convictions," he wrote.

"He threatened to deliberately kill the spouses and children of terrorists, implying

that an atrocity of that magnitude would show the world America's toughness."

He also has an issue with the president's stance on refugees.

"The way he speaks about them is appalling, as though welfare or terrorism were the only

purposes they could have in coming to our country," he said.

And McCain is not a fan of the way the president goes after the media.

"His reaction to unflattering news stories, calling them 'fake news' whether they're

credible or not, is copied by autocrats who want to discredit and control a free press,"

he wrote.

He was also angered by the president comparing Russian President Vladimir Putin's killing

of political opponents to that of American politicians when he said, "We have a lot

of killers too."

Sen. McCain said, "It was a shameful thing to say, and so unaware of reality."

The president is wise to not tweet about, or speak about, his issues with Sen. McCain

and the snub from his funeral.

The senator is still a war hero and a man who has served for decades in the Senate.

He was the flag bearer for the Republican Party in the 2008 presidential election.

No good can come from going after a dying man.

It is possible that Sen. McCain is attempting to goad President Trump into striking back,

knowing that anything he says could be used against him by Democrats in 2020 and helping

him be defeated would be a shot at the president from beyond the grave.

But whatever the reason, discretion is the better part of valor in this case.

What do you think about this?

Kurtz:Trump eyes Lewandowski for Kelly's job amid White House infighting - Duration: 4:26.

Corey Lewandowski is having a big time comeback it's just under two years ago

Lewandowski combative controversial was unceremoniously dumped as Donald Trump's

first campaign manager after he had essentially guided him to the brink of

the nomination those were some dark days for Lewandowski but as with many people

who the president gets rid of he did remain on sort of the fringes of the

orbit and they continued to talk the president continued to seek his advice

and now according to my sources if the White House chief of staff's job should

become open Lewandowski is a candidate for that job president has actually

discussed the possibility of Corey Lewandowski becoming his White House

chief of staff now it's probably unlikely that will happen and I'll

explain why in a moment first of all let's look at why the job might be open

it's no secret in Washington in the White House anywhere really that John

Kelly has a very strained relationship right now with this president Kelley

came in and kind of a high the general who was going to impose military

discipline on the White House and that worked for a while but inevitably there

were strains between the president and the general and that was exacerbated

this week when NBC reported that story that Kelley according to unnamed sources

repeatedly referred to donald trump ism as an idiot and the Kelley put out a

statement saying that's total BS they have a candid relationship kind of

little dip low speak there my sources say there's no imminent

breach coming up but nobody really expects Kelley to last that much longer

so Lewandowski is somebody who makes Trump comfortable and he has been

traveling with the president on political trips and at the weekend rally

in Michigan he actually was called up to the stage and president was praising him

he was seen Cory on TV and Cory has only had one campaign and he wanted so he's

one for one kind of airbrushing the fact that deve was then fired and so here's

the situation if this were to come to a head

Lewandowski I think is reluctant to take the job based on what I'm hearing from

my sources for one think it would be a huge pay cut he spent about the last two

years building a business as a Washington consultant doing the speaking

circuit and all of that at the same time you know it would be

very very hard for a guy as close to the president's quarry to turn it down the

president offered it also Accords got four kids to support and so you know the

lucrative lure of the private sector is not inconsiderable

at the same time Lewandowski knows people in the White House tell me that

if this job were to go to court Louie deskey that as much as half the staff

would quit it's not so much that they have a visceral dislike for the guy

although some may not like Corey Lewandowski but some in the White House

believe that with no government experience that he simply doesn't have

the ability to handle as challenging and complex a job as chief of staff and if

that happened Cory would want to bring in his own people and there'd be a

wholesale turnover so a president knows that if he were to go this route to make

this change he would essentially be blowing up his White House staff you

don't just bring in one person at the top there'd be a lot of wholesale

changes but the president is focused on the midterms and he does obviously you

know with the increasing possibility that Democrats may take the house at

least I think he wants a more politically attuned chief of staff but

the downside there of Lewandowski would end up doing this is that the

Republicans get clobbered in November he would get much of the blame so it's

probably the odds are against this happening but it's not impossible as I

say they've discussed it's also possible if Kelly leaves is the president all

have no chief of staff or will appoint somebody who's not really gonna run this

staff but be more of an outside ambassador the world but no matter how

you slice it given the level of Vice to traveling together the fact that he's

sort of back in the inner circle whether he gets the title or not Lewandowski is

back as a trusted adviser to President Trump who as you know sometimes runs

through advisors rather quickly sometimes being on the outside on the

fringes of the Trump world is the safest place to be

you

Kurt Russel Just SHOWED Celebs It's Time To Shut Up About Trump! - Duration: 2:36.

Kurt Russel Just SHOWED Celebs It's Time To Shut Up About Trump!

Since the second that Donald Trump was declared as our next president, liberals have not stopped

complaining about the outcome, even after more than a year with him in the White House.

The despicable display reached the height of annoyance during every ego-stroking awards

ceremony since President Trump was elected.

All have turned into a Trump-trashing session for pissed of celebrities to get far too much

off their chest about our unapologetic leader.

However, not everyone in Hollywood shares the same opinion as the most outspoken offender,

Meryl Streep, as Kurt Russell just showed her and all of Trump's other famous foes

that it's time to shut up about our president.

If you haven't heard much from Russell lately, it's because he falls into the rare category

of celebrities who isn't crying over Hillary Clinton's loss and doesn't feel that he

needs to make his political opinions known.

He's simply doing what he's paid well to do and wishes others in the biz would too.

Since they continue to throw tantrums and trash Trump on a public stage, Russell reached

his breaking point and finally fired back hard.

"This is a business that's heavily promulgated by people who have a politically liberal bent,"

Russell began in his blistering beratement of these overpaid crybabies after what Streep

said at the Golden Globes.

"I don't begrudge them that.

I'm a libertarian; frankly, I think my liberalness goes far beyond theirs in a lot of ways,"

he added, as reported by the American Lookout.

"But yeah, we think differently, and maybe that's cut me out of some things.

I don't care," he said before dropping a brutal announcement on these Streep and

her lemmings that left them burning.

After Rosie Won't Stop Committing Felonies To Oust Trump, She Gets Nasty Surprise - Duration: 6:30.

After Rosie Won't Stop Committing Felonies To Oust Trump, She Gets Nasty Surprise

Rosie O'Donnell lashed back late last night after it was discovered that she had allegedly

committed multiple felonies using aliases and different addresses to break campaign

finance laws.

The hefty comedian was caught red-handed, which pissed her off, so she doubled down.

Instead of stopping, insane Rosie illegally donated another $100,000 dollars screaming

she will "oust President Donald Trump."

This caused O'Donnell to get a nasty surprise she won't ever forget.

The war against President Donald Trump took a bizarre turn yesterday after Rosie O'Donnell

was caught committing multiple potential felonies by making illegal donations on a Democratic

National Committee website called "Act Blue."

The New York Post broke the story based on campaign finance filings that every candidate

must submit and make public.

They reported, "Rosie O'Donnell made illegally over-sized campaign donations to at least

five Democratic federal candidates, according to a Post analysis of campaign filings."

What makes Rosie's illegal donations so criminal is she clearly had the intent to

break the campaign finance laws which state the maximum donation to one campaign is $2,700

dollars.

"Filings show O'Donnell gave a combined $5,400 in contributions over the limit to

the five candidates and used five different New York addresses and four variations of

her name," added The New York Post.

In fact, the crazed leftist activist and rabid Trump hater regularly donated, giving over

$90,000 for the 2017-2018 election cycle to 50 different Democratic federal candidates

and committees, filings show.

O'Donnell clearly was out to get around the campaign finance laws, but she's figured

out a stealth alibi.

The Trump-hating actress told The New York Post in an e-mail, "My anxiety is quelled

by donating to those opposing Trump [and] his agenda — especially at night — when

most of these were placed."

You see where she is going with this, right?

She was blinded by her anxiety and sleepless nights induced by a new malady called "Trump

Derangement Syndrome."

She was temporarily insane with anxiety and had no idea what she was doing.

Rosie woke up this morning totally unhinged over the accurate reporting.

You see, she's a hero, and so breaking the law is her noble effort to oust Trump.

Rosie went insane tweeting, "as a salute to the ny post writer – who found sinister

ways to warp the truth – i will click away tonight – so i can hit 100,000 – #donateWHATuCAN

#RESIST #TrumpColluded."

The nutjob celebrity included a screenshot showing that she was up to $75,500 dollars

as she went on a potential illegal donating binge.

But there's more.

She posted 10 other tweets proving she was on a rampage on the "Act Blue" website,

donating to 10 different Democratic candidates or funds.

Here's an example: "It's time for transformative leadership in Georgia, powered by all of us.

Rosie doesn't believe that laws apply to important celebrities like her.

Of course, when a Republican like Dinesh D'Souza does one time what Rosie has now done multiple

times, he landed in jail.

D'Souza is a conservative pundit and filmmaker famous for the scathing documentary "2016:

Obama's America."

Some of you may recall that he was convicted of a felony for a lot less.

His one-time donation totaled $20,000 dollars.

He had to pay a $30,000 fine and was sentenced to eight months in jail with the help of Barack

Obama's good friend, corrupt U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara, who President Donald Trump

fired.

Keep in mind D'Souza was speaking just hours before Rosie goes on her next binge of illegal

donations.

Her sick admirers were celebrating that she was "resisting Trump" and doing so illegally.

Rosie re-tweeted this post, "@Rosie doing everything she can legal or illegal, to save

this country.

Respect!"

Well, Americans were waking up shocked to learn Rosie was so brazen about ousting Trump

that she would condone and continue to break the law to do it.

Patriots pushed back hard at Rosie giving her a nasty surprise.

On Twitter, the hashtag #ArrestRosie is going viral as Americans let the Trump hating celebrity

know, she's not getting away with anything.

Christopher Montgomery tweeted to Rosie, "How do you warp a criminal act?

Because you got caught.

Oh but i'm a celebrity i have special laws for me, Don't I!

Do you prefer vertical or horizontal stripes?"

"I'd like to reply but do I use Rosie, Rosey, Rosee, O'Donnell, O'donnel, O'donel,

or O'donell?

Who cares if you gave too much…you knowingly used fictitious names," chided "TravisAndersonImages,"

clearly being sarcastic referring to Rosie using aliases.

"Bugsy" tweeted to Rosie, "So, if you didn't know you were exceeding campaign

contribution limits, why did you use different names and addresses?

Asking for a friend."

Well, like all good leftists, cheating and breaking laws don't matter if "the end

justifies the means."

Rosie was hammered all morning long by pissed off Americans who are sick and tired of these

nutjobs who buy into conspiracy theories about Trump.

O'Donnell has stated that she only gets her news from Rachel Maddow, even dreaming

of "going on a double date" with the Trump hating MSNBC host.

Maddow's nightly show has committed itself 100% to pumping unsubstantiated lies about

the president "colluding with Russia," ignoring the real news he was cleared of those

bogus charges by the House Intel Committee.

Regardless of O'Donnell's brainwashing, she is not above the law.

All law-abiding Americans should be outraged at her demented behavior and her disgust for

our laws.

Let all your friends know it's time to arrest Rosie, she has gone way too far in her delusional

quest to oust our president.

And the President is concerned."

After listing all the issues the President is dealing with like foreign affairs and our

economy, Sessions says, "this thing [the Mueller probe] needs to conclude."

1 "The House Intelligence Committee on Friday declared that it found "no evidence" of

collusion between the Russian government and Trump campaign during the 2016 presidential

Trump is Gearing Up to Give Dems This BRUTAL ULTIMATUM in Order to Fund #TheWall - Duration: 11:59.

Trump is Gearing Up to Give Dems This BRUTAL ULTIMATUM in Order to Fund #TheWall

President Trump has had it with the obstruction over the border wall.

Our country is in dire need of law & order and border security, and the Democrats, who

want to build a new political base of "illegal voters," are fighting him every step of

the way.

So, President Trump is ready to shut down the government over the funding of his border

wall.

From The Blaze

President Donald Trump suggested Saturday that a government shutdown might be needed

to secure his proposed wall for the U.S.-Mexico border, ABC News reported.

What happened?

"We're going to get the wall, even if we have to think about closing up the country

for a little while," Trump said during a tax reform roundtable meeting in Cleveland

on Saturday.

"We're going to get the wall.

We have no choice."

Trump did not specify what he meant by "closing up the country," according to the report.

But he told supporters last month that there could be an autumn shutdown if Congress fails

to meet his funding demands on border security.

The president wrote on Twitter this week that the border is "under siege," adding: "Congress

must act now to change our weak and ineffective immigration laws.

Must build a Wall.

Mexico, which has a massive crime problem, is doing little to help!"

Our Southern Border is under siege.

Congress must act now to change our weak and ineffective immigration laws.

Must build a Wall.

Mexico, which has a massive crime problem, is doing little to help!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 4, 2018

One week ago, Trump also suggested a shutdown over the border wall.

His comment came in reference to a "caravan" of migrants seeking asylum in the U.S.

"I really thought they'd be much better to us and tougher on the caravan.

Didn't work out that way," Trump said in the report.

"They allow these people to come up through Mexico and come into our country."

The migrants entered the U.S. several days ago and their requests for asylum are under

consideration.

The president also used the event as an opportunity to support Rep. Jim Renacci (R-Ohio), who

is running for U.S. Senate.

He was seated alongside Trump on the stage.

Trump said Renacci is "doing really great" and "has my full support," the report

stated.

"We need your vote.

We need your help, so go out and help Jim," Trump said.

Anything else? Trump also participated in an RNC fundraiser

in Cleveland, where he spoke to 250 people and helped raise $3 million, ABC News reported.

Trump Just Went NUCLEAR and Put John Kerry ON NOTICE - Duration: 2:06.

Trump Just Went NUCLEAR and Put John Kerry ON NOTICE

What the heck is former Secretary of State John Kerry doing?

Kerry is working to undermine our president's foreign policy stance with Iran, by negotiating

and advising the State Sponsor of Terror in the shadows.

President Trump called out the failed Secretary of State, who helped negotiate the disastrous

"Iran Nuke Deal," as possibly breaking the law.

From Washington Examiner

President Trump on Monday criticized former Secretary of State John Kerry for his role

in creating the "very badly negotiated" Iran nuclear deal and engaging in "possibly

illegal shadow diplomacy."

"The United States does not need John Kerry's possibly illegal Shadow Diplomacy on the very

badly negotiated Iran Deal.

He was the one that created this MESS in the first place!" Trump tweeted.

The United States does not need John Kerry's possibly illegal Shadow Diplomacy on the very

badly negotiated Iran Deal.

He was the one that created this MESS in the first place!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 7, 2018

 The president was referencing a report from

the Boston Globe that detailed how Kerry, who served as secretary of state under former

President Barack Obama, has been working to preserve the Iran deal.

Kerry has reportedly met with Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif and other European officials

in an attempt to salvage the deal.

Trump often criticizes the Iran nuclear deal and must decide by this Saturday if the U.S.

will remain in the agreement, which was negotiated by the Obama administration and signed in

2015.

The president has indicated he will withdraw from the deal if it is not altered.

Reports of Kerry's actions have raised claims he violated the Logan Act, a more than 200-year-old

law that bars citizens from acting on behalf of the U.S. in negotiations with foreign governments.

No one has ever been prosecuted under the Logan Act.

Happening: "Trump To Announce Iran Deal Decision AT 2 PM" - Duration: 11:36.

we begin with a fox news alert it is decision day on the Iran nuclear

deal President Trump set to announce whether he will follow

through on his threat pull out of that landmark agreement negotiated by his

predecessor good morning to you I'm John Scott and I'm Melissa Francis big days

so will he mix it or fix it less than three hours from now the president will

reveal his plan for the Iran deal an agreement he's blasted for years calling

it a disaster among other things are you or P and allies still strongly back this

agreement which could collapse if the u.s. withdraws well critics cite very

real concerns about trusting Iran the Iranians have been lying lie every time

their lips move they're lying the Iranians were working with the North

Koreans until just a few weeks ago on their nuclear program and their ICBM

program and the Europeans who simply want to get keep things as they are for

the trade value the fact is if we sanction them again we ought to sanction

anybody else who does business with them that'll stop the euros from helping to

bail them out while they cheat on this program chief White House correspondent

John Roberts is live with more John John good morning to you gauging

the percentages between Nick's or fix Nick's would appear to have the edge

right now that the president would still like to fix it the overall with a deal

that takes care of everything that Iran is accused of doing its

short-term nuclear program its long-term nuclear program its ballistic missile

program and its destabilizing behavior the White House is playing this one very

close to the best today we do know that the president within the last hour spoke

to French President Emmanuel macron and we understand that the jcpoa joint

comprehensive plan of action was the centerpiece of that phone call the

president also spoke to President Xi of China this morning the jcpoa might have

come up at that phone call we're told was mostly about trade and North Korea

certainly though the president has made no secret of the fact that he does not

like this deal and indications are at this point that he will not sign a new

waiver of sanctions the waivers that he and the president obama had signed every

90 days under the terms of the agreement of this deal and

that could begin the process of the United States pulling out of the joint

comprehensive plan of action White House legislative affairs director mark short

saying as some saying a short time ago here on fox news that it would be no

surprise if the president pulled out listen it's kind of hard to think that

Iran is following the the spirit of the deal and so I think the president has

been clear about his demands for for a better deal and I think that he will

make his case to the American people today the idea that Iran is cheating on

this deal took on new life after the Israeli prime minister last week laid

out intelligence and evidence that Iran had a secret program to build a nuclear

weapon still there's a difference of opinion in how to deal with this in the

administration Mike Pompeo the newly minted Secretary of State John Bolton

the national security adviser both in favor of pulling out James Madison

secretary defense thinks it would be better to stay in the president has also

heard from our European allies French President McCrone a couple of weeks ago

and again on the telephone this morning Angela Merkel the Chancellor of Germany

Teresa made the UK prime minister all urging him to stay in and then seek a

second deal to deal with those other three items that I talked about Iran

threatening to restart its nuclear program if the u.s. pulls out of the

jcpoa when he met with president Park rone last month the president warned

Iran against doing that listen here won't be so easy for them to restart

this president they're not going to be restarting anything they restarted

taking up big problems bigger than they've ever had before and you can mark

it down they restart their nuclear program they will have bigger problems

than they have ever had before thank you very much everybody

the president also taking aim at former Secretary of State John Kerry after

reports that he has been engaging in below the radar contacts with Iranian

and European leaders about the deal the president this morning saying John Kerry

has to get off the stage quote John Kerry can't get over the fact that he

had his chance and blew it stay away from negotiations John you are hurting

our country the president has been given a range of options on what to do from

his advisors I'm being told that he went through a very methodical

decision-making process and John today decision day two o'clock this afternoon

and we will have that live obviously John Roberts our chief White House

correspondent Thank You thanks New York's Attorney General resigning after

a stunning report in which four women accused him of the salting them well

they were romantically involved with him the Manhattan district attorney opening

advocate for women's issues in a fierce opponent of President Trump Laura Engel

is live in our newsroom with more on this Laura hi Melissa well the details

of the New York Attorney General's alleged misdeeds were revealed last

night in a searing article put out by the New Yorker for women alleged

Sneiderman slapped choked and abused them while they were in a romantic

relationship with him or had an encounter with him and two of the women

who went on the record say they had to receive medical attention after their

encounters which they described as assault happened

the NYPD tells Fox they have no record of any complaints filed by the women who

both told The New Yorker they were too frightened to come forward because

Schneiderman warned them he could have them followed their phones tapped and he

threatened to quote kill them if they broke up with him after last night's

story broke Nidoran issued the following statement in the privacy of intimate

relationships I have engaged in role-playing and other consensual sexual

activity I have not assaulted anyone I have never

engaged in non-consensual sex which is a line I would not cross Snyderman

resigned and stepped down saying the allegations would be too much of a

distraction for him to continue after quickly losing the support of Democratic

leaders including Governor Andrew Cuomo who spoke out this morning

listen change comes when people demand change and change comes when the problem

is revealed and exposed that is always step one if true the ironic twist

becomes his role as an outspoken figure in the need to movement against sexual

harassment which angered at least two of his accusers all

so in 2016 his office published a know your rights brochure for victims of

domestic violence and in 2010 when he was a state senator from Manhattan he

John the governor goes after the Attorney General and the Attorney

General tenders his resignation it doesn't usually happen that quickly not

usually but these were really some pretty horrific allegations for all the

everything that meets who has brought to light the allegations of slapping

choking multiple allegations multiple people confirming that these stories

were told at the time really hard to see how it would have played out any

differently so first I think you just have to to praise the victims here for

speaking out in the journalists who help them tell their story you know what one

thing that it underscored for me is reading my part where one of the alleged

victims says that her friends urged her not to come forward because Schneider

was simply too important of a democratic politician and so that just really

underscored the fact that you know the poison of partisanship or tribalism it

really in fact either party whether that's Democrats who originally defended

people like you know dismissed allegations against Bill Clinton or

Republicans who dismissed them against Roy Moore or even Donald Trump so I

think that is one lesson to take away from this yeah Trump obviously no fan of

Schneiderman Schneiderman was going after Trump all in court on several

issues but it brings to light this tweet the Donald Trump sent out in 2013 so

we're talking five years ago he writes Weiner is gone Spitzer is gone

next will be lightweight Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is he a crook

wait and see worse than Spitzer or Weiner that was put out on September

11th which has its own hallmarks of 2013 do you know anything about

the now president knew them I do not so you don't know if that was speculation

or if he had heard a rumor or if you had heard something more than that when you

put that out what you see a lot of Democrats saying now is they're saying

hey Al Franken for very for much much much less worse things he's gone you

know now Schneiderman for very horrific allegations is gone well people like in

Missouri there are very horrific allegations against the Missouri

Republican governor Eric Greitens who is refusing to step down you know they

would point out that multiple allegations of you know sexual assaults

against sitting president Republican president Donald Trump he is still in

office so I think that you'll have both sides you know pointing fingers here but

what really underscores is not this isn't a partisan issue that that

malfeasance can can occur near the party and as you point out hats off to Ronan

Farrow who is the guy who exposed Harvey Weinstein and and now it's the Attorney

General of the state of New York yeah he's in a really excellent job I think

Jane Mayer also working the story you know he without without a dog and

journalists to help these stories come to light even with the bravery of the

victims you don't know if they ever would have felt comfortable enough to

have spoken out I think in many of these cases especially the Weinstein case that

they wouldn't have I think and in terms of the political impact of this you know

I don't know if this will have any impact on New York politics

Governor Cuomo spoke out very quickly calling for Schneiderman's resignation

Cuomo does face a primary challenge from the left from a feminist Cynthia Nixon

so you wonder if this just sort of maybe alter the environment the way people and

viewing this race and maybe just think they're sick of the whole system and

they want someone fresh that could have an impact helping someone like some yeah

because the the early polls showed are way behind but that race is getting a

bit tighter so kind of interesting to watch and we will be John McCormick from

the Weekly Standard John thank you thank you Attorney General Jack sessions with

some very tough talk on immigration what he's now threatening to do to those who

enter this country illegally pussy I age nominee Gina Haskell back on the Conn

Capitol Hill ahead of tomorrow's confirmation hearing why some charge

she's the target of a smear campaign by Democrats as the White House back sir to

the hill we wanted to get a fair hearing a thorough hearing and we're very

confident that not only will all of the members of the Senate see what the rest

of us see and certainly even some of the people that have held that position see

but that G knows more than qualified to to run Italy the agency

Rep. McCarthy: Trump Can Negotiate Better Deal to Prevent Nuclear Iran - Duration: 6:11.

let's bring in House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy sir there's there was

never a lot of bipartisan support for this deal at least on Capitol Hill

President Obama declined to put four put it forward for a vote because they said

they wouldn't have had the vote so they took action unilaterally and now the

President of the United States the current president Donald Trump is going

to apparently reverse that decision your thoughts today well my thought is

remember this is this is not a treaty and this is probably the problem with

the agreement even if you look back on those who we respect and have seen this

you go to condi rice former Secretary of State she said she never would have

signed this agreement she also said if the president does pull out it's not the

end of the world because I think from what you're hearing if the President

does end up pulling out you have a number of days here for Iran to come

back and actually negotiate a better deal if the whole concept of this

agreement was to keep Iran for having a nuclear weapon the agreement does not

stop that at the end of it they would be allowed to have it they continue to test

their ballistic missiles they take the billions of dollars that were provided

to them to fund terrorism around the world I think it's only appropriate that

the world together comes involved and gets a better agreement or make sure

Iran does not have a nuclear weapon and this is something the president

campaigned on remember and if it did come to the floor the only bipartisan

vote that would have taken place was it would have voted this down that's why it

was never a treaty right which was it never should have been moved forward as

an agreement because it was always in jeopardy with the next administration is

the White House asking the Congress to try to pass anything now after this step

that the president takes today no they haven't asked us anything yet I've been

briefed on a few things the president will do today but our own Foreign

Affairs have had hearings on this as well and remember here we are with North

Korea now sitting down with South Korea something the past administration wasn't

able to do as well I think President Trump understands foreign policy able to

get people together that haven't been in the past and if our main goal here is

not to have Iran to have a nuclear weapon I would trust this president to

actually get it done and I think you would have

look at this Agreement differently if that's your goal to set out to make

happen I see I see your point of view on that how do you respond to critics who

say that the president by withdrawing from this deal that if the previous

president made that it makes talks with North Korea harder because it looks like

the president the United States isn't able to confirm that the United States

will keep its word in the future now United States keeps its word to any

treaty we go forward with and remember this is not an agreement that was agreed

to by President Trump what I would look at is is quite the opposite if the

president says he's going to do something he would follow through with

it just as he would move the embassy to Jerusalem just as other presidents

promised they would but they would not do that

so I think because the president does keep his word that's the reason why Kim

jong-il is talking to South Korea as well and the one thing I would look at

you would want to create a treaty with America because that's what we keep

agreements was always the argument against this and what's more importantly

if America when it was President Obama said he wanted to stop Iran from a

nuclear weapon but would agree to a treaty our agreement not a treaty that

would allow it to happen I think America loses credibility in the long run with

that what would you say to your constituents and people across America

who are maybe not steeped in the details on the Iran deal but they are concerned

about rising gas prices and what this might do to the summers gas prices going

forward well what I tell my voters in California the reason the gas prices are

rising in California because the Democrats raised that the tax on it and

we have an initiative on the ballot to actually even peel those 12 cents so we

won't be paying in California a dollar higher than those in other states as

well and and America is becoming energy independent so no we're moving in the

right direction and the one thing I would say any American why would they

want to give Iran money for their oil if they're going to fund terrorism

throughout the world that we watch time and time again I know as an American I

would never want that you know I'm waiting for the president he's going to

step to the lectern any moment now then diplomatic reception room we'll take

that to you live just a non international question for you

going forward it's you tomorrow there's several primaries that are today I'm

sorry that's the boys that are happening all across America Republicans

I just curious where you think you are in the midterms because you know the a

lot of conventional wisdom would say that the Republicans are definitely

going to lose a house in this midterm election year it's not unusual for a

sitting president for his party to lose seats in a midterm looking ahead at some

of your candidates going forward and what their positioning how are you

feeling about their chances today I actually feel very good because you know

why unemployment is at three point nine percent it hasn't been this low in 18

years 48 out of 50 states just had their energy bills lowered because our tax

bill millions of people just got a bonus we have actually on human trafficking

shut down Backpage and others the opioid crisis we're moving 60 bills to do

something with that if you ask the American people how they feel is the

omit is America going in a good place this is CNN 57% say yes to that the last

time that happened that was back in the early 2000s so you know what I think

it's election today it's no doubt we'd keep the majority and the thing that

actually promises that more is because Nancy Pelosi even today said if they win

the majority she would become Speaker and she would raise your taxes right she

said she would roll back what President Trump put forward so and we're gonna

talk about that later in the show House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy thanks

for joining me thank you for having me Dina

you

Seth Meyers Says Trump's Lawyer Wanted Him to Apologize on Air for WHCD Jokes | THR News - Duration: 1:46.

"And then, of course, there's Donald Trump."

Once upon a time, in February 2015, a late-night host invited a presidential hopeful

to be a guest on his show.

Unfortunately, the soon-to-be POTUS candidate would only agree to to the offer

if the late night host apologized for the jokes he'd made at the

2011 White House Correspondents' Dinner. And so, sadly, we never got to see what it

would be like if Donald Trump appeared on NBC's 'Late Night with Seth Meyers.'

Meyers was the host of the annual White House Correspondents' Dinner in 2011

where he made jokes about Trump not going through with a presidential campaign.

For example…

"Donald Trump has been saying he will run for president as a Republican,

which is surprising, since I just assumed he was running as a joke."

In a Politico interview with Meyers published Tuesday, Meyers reveals that he ran into

Trump at the 'Saturday Night Live' 40th anniversary special,

and extended the invitation to the now-president.

"[Trump] said he was receptive to coming in the beginning," Meyers said.

"There were some caveats he had that we were not interested in doing."

One of those caveats was a non-negotiable demand that the NBC host apologize

for the jokes he had made at Trump's expense four years previously, such as this one.

"Donald Trump often appears on Fox, which is ironic because a

fox often appears on Donald Trump's head."

When Meyers revealed that it was Trump's personal attorney Michael Cohen

who tried to do the negotiating for the on-air apology, Politico's Edward-Isaac Dovere

asked Meyers if the lawyer offered to pay him "large sums of money."

This was obviously in reference to Cohen's hush payment to Stormy Daniels to

allegedly hide a relationship between her and Trump,

however Meyer says it "never got that far."

Meyers added that he believed his initial WHCD joke

"right up to the moment where [Trump] won."

As did many, Seth. As did many.
