BREAKING: John Kerry Just Caught Going Behind Trump's Back To Make Secret Deal With Iran
Former President Obama's Secretary of State, John Kerry and a group of his former State
Department officials, have been unofficially busy being unofficial diplomats in recent
weeks.
While the duly elected current President Donald Trump prepares to pull the plug on the infamous
Iran deal, Kerry has been lurking and clandestinely sneaking around the world trying to salvage
his pet project just ahead of its May 12 renewal deadline.
The Boston Globe reports –
"John Kerry's bid to save one of his most significant accomplishments as secretary of
state took him to New York on a Sunday afternoon two weeks ago, where, more than a year after
he left office, he engaged in some unusual shadow diplomacy with a top-ranking Iranian
official.
He sat down at the United Nations with Foreign Minister Javad Zarif to discuss ways of preserving
the pact limiting Iran's nuclear weapons program.
It was the second time in about two months that the two had met to strategize over salvaging
a deal they spent years negotiating during the Obama administration, according to a person
briefed on the meetings."
While on his clandestine unofficially official diplomatic venture Kerry has met with world
leaders from Europe including German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, EU official Federica
Mogherini and French President Emmanuel Macron in both Paris and New York, where they discussed
sanctions and regional nuclear threats in both French and English.
This type of "rogue" diplomacy is very rare for a former Secretary of State and many
may even consider it to be considered "espionage" or even "treason."
Kerry is reportedly actively working with world leaders and foreign governments to undermine
American foreign policy and try to salvage the Iran deal.
Apparently losing is hard.
As The Globe notes, the effort to salvage the Iran deal "highlight the stakes for
Kerry personally, as well as for other Obama-era diplomats who are dismayed by what they see
as Trump's disruptive approach to diplomacy, and who view the Iran nuclear deal as a factor
for stability in the Middle East and for global nuclear nonproliferation."
Foreign policy expert Michael O'Hanlon of the Brookings Institution states – "It
is unusual for a former secretary of state to engage in foreign policy like this, as
an actual diplomat and quasi-negotiator.
Of course, former secretaries of state often remain quite engaged with foreign leaders,
as they should, but it's rarely so issue-specific, especially when they have just left office."
In fact, Kerry is conducting his meetings "below the radar" because he recognizes
that they would "provoke Trump."
Another concerning aspect of the story are the parallels to the actions of former national
security adviser Michael Flynn, who was accused of violating the Logan Act by talking to foreign
officials prior to President Trump taking office.
Kerry is clearly significantly more out of bounds, in that he is functioning in the capacity
of a private citizen, and not that of a member of the transition team for an incoming president.
Yet If you believe that the Logan Act was legitimately used as a means to question Michael
Flynn, then how are you NOT demanding the same DOJ/FBI investigation against John Kerry?
There should be equal application of the law.Fox News reports –
"Kerry's reported actions immediately sparked criticism and raised claims that such
dealings with Iranian and European officials could violate the Logan Act — which prohibits
private citizens from negotiating on behalf of the U.S. government without authorization
While no one has ever been successfully prosecuted under the law, the Logan Act was raised last
year over former national security adviser Michael Flynn's negotiations at the United
Nations over a resolution with Israel during the Trump transition.
"John Kerry helped craft a flaccid deal that granted the terror regime in Tehran vast
monetary and geopolitical concessions, even as it put them on the glide path to nuclear
weapons by its own terms," Sohrab Ahmari, senior writer at Commentary magazine, told
Fox News.
"The biggest public service he can render now is to go away."
Florida Sen. Marco Rubio said Kerry's move "certainly raises Logan Act questions.'

talk about tax reform during a roundtable discussion of course today's
trip comes ahead of Ohio's primary election on Tuesday so we had a guest on
last our democratic system that the bonuses haven't gone to those workers
has really helped him NBC News broke some major news at least it appeared to
be earlier this week that the feds had wiretapped
Michael Cohen's phone's just one problem it turned out to be untrue does the
media now have a credibility crisis are they too blind
by their hatred of the president we're gonna ask Molly Hemingway next and we
have shocking new numbers about how many of your calls and texts our own NSA is
collecting you're not gonna believe it might be you might be me might be all of
us that's coming up how they lose the struck text
NBC News issuing a major correction this week on a report claiming the
president's lawyer Michael Cohen was wiretapped but that didn't stop other
networks from jumping all over the fake story they were able to get text emails
and wiretaps on his many phone lines leading up to the raid and continuing
there's evidence of a crime I don't care if you're the president's lawyer you're
the skip that same Cleveland I do you go to a judge and say I want to listen to
its phone does this show the so-called mainstream media is moving too fast to
get a scoop on anything that could be antitrump here to weigh in you senior
editor at The Federalist and Fox News contributor Molly Hemingway great to
have you up here in New York so Molly you've covered this I mean how does a
story like this happen and what does it say about the media that it has happened
often maybe there are a couple of problems one is that the media keep
using anonymous sources who keep getting things wrong and there's no
accountability when you're using it or not honest source there's no way you can
say well I know that I shouldn't be trusting this person because we don't
know who the people are involved the other issue is just this sort of
animosity toward Trump that point that make all the errors happen in one
direction this is not the first time there's been a major correction on a
story that's really big and they always go in this sort of anti Trump direction
that suggests that it's not just what happens sometimes in journalism which
sometimes stories get big reserves but there's something else going on here
that is something that we also probably saw in the 2016 election and the
inability to understand what was happening in the country and just on a
very important big story and here this is a big important story sure and
another big important story to your point when ABC News Brian Ross they got
that story wrong about Michael Flynn which is that he's prepared to testify
that you know during the campaign he colluded with the Russians that all of a
sudden the narrative was true and ABC bought it hard and really it blew up in
their face it's been happening throughout the media CNN has had a
series of problematic stories on the overall story of Russia collusion and
investigation of same including that they said that James Comey was going to
testify that he never told Donald Trump he wasn't under investigation
when he testified that he said it three times
and and again no one else no one is held accountable
no one gets fired or very rarely does anyone get fired or or we we see if the
media taking its early do we see a scoop saying Donald Trump's innocent well and
just yesterday there was that big story about the judge saying about the molar
probe you have some serious problems here it's not that I didn't get coverage
but it didn't get that hysteria that you're seeing with so many so many other
issues it's the sin of omission what they decide not to cover and the people
are wise to this we've got some new numbers from Monmouth University of poll
of the American people do traditional major news sources ever report fake news
stories seventy-seven percent of Americans today say you know what I'm
getting fake news is are they wrong to believe that and I think the reason why
those numbers are so high is that it's not just that you're seeing errors like
as we said can happen so these overall narratives are problematic I mean just
this week you have a lot of people saying this is a really rough week for
the for the White House when in fact you're seeing a lot of stories that
point in a different direction they're saying oh the walls are crumbling around
Trump no that's not happening and people can see that it's not happening and they
can see that things are going to yeah they're not down great to have you in
person Molly how good we can appreciate it all right well president Trump giving
Kanye West a shout out during his speech to the NRA because you probably by the
numbers first 534 million that's how many phone calls and text messages the
NSA collected last year according to the US intelligence agency report that's
triple the amount they gathered in 2016 next thirty thousand that's how many Big
Macs this Wisconsin man is even in his lifetime wait really
John Gorski also known as the Big Mac man has been eating two of the
sandwiches every day since 1972 and finally a hundred and thirty-five
thousand dollars later yeah that's the price tag of Megan Markos wedding dress
when she marries print area in two weeks
that Big Mac stories it bodes well for all about I think I should try it I'm
gonna I might try bring me some Big Macs all right
Kanye West made major news when he expressed his support for President
Trump and now the president is sharing his praise of Kanye because you probably
saw I doubled my african-american poll numbers from 11 to 22 so could west soon
be visiting the West Wing well a White House adviser says President Trump is on
board to host the rapper during a White House summit on race relations here to
tell us is that advisor himself on a pastor of new revival center and CEO of
the national diversity coalition for from dr. Daryl Scott dr. thanks for
being here this morning so is I mean the question really is is what happened with
Kanye West is it a tipping point a turning point for the black community
for the relations with this White House you certainly think that it's an
opportunity what do you think I think it is you know the fact that the
president's poll numbers doubled in one week among African American males as a
direct result of Kanye West expressing his like for the president shows that
you know there that the African American community is not against the president
you have to understand courage inspires courage fearlessness inspires
fearlessness there's a silent majority minority out there of African Americans
I remember during the campaign I called him the incog and Negroes these were
those that supported the president but they weren't vocal about it simply
because they did not want to push back everyone doesn't want to argue and and
and and fight over their candidate of choice but with Kanye West came out in
in bold and others to say listen I hear what he's saying
I can't think for myself I have a right to express myself and
it's reflecting in those poll numbers and so I'm very optimistic about this
once again leading to the healing of this racial divide that is in this
nation that is a politically inspired well not everyone agrees with you on
that one of those people on another network Don Lemon have this to say about
presidential take a listen critical thinking is important as a journalist
and if you cannot surmise that this president if he's not racist
he is certainly racist adjacent listen if Kanye West had said he hated
president Trump Don Lemon would have invited him on his program anything this
anti Trump CNN tries to jump on it and so I take anything down lemon and those
other race baiters on CNN I say not take anything they say with a grain of salt
well doctor did you talk about the race summit or a meeting at the White House
well what would that look like what would be the main topics of conversation
and you know would would Kanye West be invited do you think well these are
things that you know I had a discussion with the president I approached the idea
to him and he was in agreement with it he thought it would be great but once
again now we have to get into the logistics of it we have to date place
time content invitees there's a lot more to it than they just announce it and run
with it so ideally you know optimistically I would want to do it
tomorrow realistically it'll probably take place
in the fall and once again these are the things we're going to have to work
through to make sure nothing gets out of hand
that has done decent and in order and that you know the principles that are
involved from both sides from the left and the right it's going to be a
bipartisan effort but the principles that are involved will maintain their
respect for the office that the president holds is not going to be a
month slinging a fist throwing event we're going to have some
positive discourse to try to bring healing you know the president said he
said he's a unifier not a divider a bridge builder and so this is part of
his endeavor to heal this breach that once again I believe is politically it
would be an opportunity for him thank you thank you god bless all right well
coming up she says she's not running for president but Elizabeth Warren who the
president calls Pocahontas tops the lefts wishlist for 2020 so what does it
say about the state of the party we will debate and Janice Davis law

Zero Hedge reports –
Meanwhile, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accused Iran of developing a
secret project to "test and build nuclear weapons" before the 2015 Iran deal was reached.
In a global televised address, Netanyahu unveiled a cache of 55,000 pages of documents and 183
CDs, comprising Iran's alleged "atomic archive" of documents on its nuclear program;
the files allegedly prove Tehran ran a secret program, called Project Amad, to "test and
build nuclear weapons."
While Iranian leaders have long said their nuclear program is only for peaceful purposes,
Netanyahu claimed this was not the case according to tens of thousands of pages of documents,
which he said were copied from a "highly secret location" in Iran.
Those files allegedly detail Project Amad, which Netanyahu described as "a comprehensive
program to design, build and test nuclear weapons."
"These files conclusively prove that Iran is brazenly lying when it says it never had
a nuclear weapons program," Netanyahu said.
"The files prove that."
Kerry responded to Netanyahu's evidence – stating that the documents were nothing
new, and simply prove that all that's needed are inspections to ensure that Iran is complying
with the current agreement.
"Every detail PM Netanyahu presented yesterday was every reason the world came together to
apply years of sanctions and negotiate the Iran nuclear agreement — because the threat
was real and had to be stopped," Kerry tweeted Tuesday.
"It's working!"
Kerry is coordinating his push with a group of officials who were his top advisers at
the State Department, and who helped craft and negotiate the Iran deal in the first place.
The group, called Diplomacy Works, has an advisory council that includes lead Iran-deal
negotiator Wendy Sherman, former State Department chief of staff Jon Finer, and former spokeswoman
Jen Psaki. The group claims to be responsible for 100 news articles, 34 television and radio
hits, and 37 opinion pieces on the Iran question.
They do fact checks of criticisms of the agreement and blast them out to an e-mail list of nearly
4,000 policymakers and foreign policy experts.

In other words, a former US Secretary of State is working with his former colleagues to conduct
United States diplomacy with foreign leaders with no official permission.
We can only guess what the pitch is "He'll be out
in 2020, just hang on…"

NEW CLINTON RUSSIA TIES – TRUMP DEMANDS IMMEDIATE INVESTIGATION - Duration: 13:34.
NEW CLINTON-RUSSIA TIES – TRUMP DEMANDS IMMEDIATE
INVESTIGATION
Trump is sending an official request to lawmakers.
His orders?
Immediate investigation of connections between Hillary and Bill Clinton with Russia.
House intelligence is still currently looking into possible connections between Trump and
Russia even though it was already shown that there aren't any.
Well Trump thinks it time they used their time for a real investigation.
He sent them out a few tweets along the way:If any one of you was confused about "big uranium"
let's make it clear.
He is referring to a Canadian company called Uranium One.
This company has donated a lot to the Clinton Foundation.
The Clinton Foundation then made a new majority vote to sell Uranium One to the Russian Energy
Company Rosatom.
Furthermore in 2015 when this deal was made, Bill Clinton was given an amazing $500,000
to give a public speech in Russia about this project.
It was also a speech for a Russian bank backing the Uranium One project.
Then there is Podesta's incident.
He hasn't disclosed stock during his campaign which have been connected to a Russian company.
Isn't that interesting.
And here is the icing to the cake.
Democrats convinved the House Committee to investigate Trump about a possible connection
with Russia and the whole Russia election hack.
First they have a suspicious business with Russia.
Then Podesta has illegal stock transfers with Russia.
And last we have them blaming Trump to cover up their leads with Russian companies.
Smart idea, but it won't fool Trump.
Do you think there should be an immediate investigation as well?
Let's see what's under the Clinton Foundation.
Tell us what you think in the comments below.

Federal Judge Drops the Hammer on Mueller for 'Lying', Trying to Target Trump - Duration: 12:00.
Federal Judge Drops the Hammer on Mueller for 'Lying', Trying to Target Trump
On Friday morning, President Trump said the following on Twitter.
The first part is referring to the incredible job he's been doing with the economy and
the fact that unemployment is now below 4% for the first time in about 20 years.
The second part is referring to the insane Mueller investigation that has gone completely
off the tracks.
He's right it's a witch hunt.
Not convinced?
Check out what the judge in the Manafort case just said…
From Fox News:
A federal judge on Friday harshly rebuked Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team during
a hearing for ex-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort – suggesting they lied about the
scope of the investigation, are seeking "unfettered power" and are more interested in bringing
down the president.
"You don't really care about Mr. Manafort," U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III told Mueller's
team.
"You really care about what information Mr. Manafort can give you to lead you to Mr.
Trump and an impeachment, or whatever."
Further, Ellis demanded to see the unredacted "scope memo," a document outlining the
scope of the special counsel's Russia probe that congressional Republicans have also sought.
That sums things up pretty well.
Judges don't just throw that kind of accusation around either.
Every rational person watching this investigation play out realizes that Mueller doesn't like
Trump and he's doing everything he can to make life miserable for everyone who was involved
in the campaign.
There hasn't been a single leak that suggests there has been any collusion and there's
no way we wouldn't have heard about it by now if Mueller was on to something.
The fact of the matter here is that there was no collusion.
It was all a lie from the start and the only purpose of the lie was to let Hillary off
the hook for her disastrous performance.
Over the last few days, we have heard rumors swirling that Mueller might subpoena Trump.
Make no mistake.
That's is a remarkable miscarriage of justice if true.
Mark Levin explains…
From Breitbart:
So, I would take us all the way to the United States Supreme Court.
I would make Mueller and his band of Democrat prosecutors make their case all the way to
the United States Supreme Court.
If they try to subpoena him, in any way to appear before a federal grand jury, then make
them make their case against the own Department of Justice, against Supreme Court precedent,
and against the Constitution of the United States.
If it takes six months, it takes six months.
If it takes six years, then by God, takes six years.
We are not just talking about the president, which would be enough.
We are talking about protecting the office of the presidency, separation of powers.
When you look at those 49 areas of questions, there's not a single criminal statute.
There's not a single obstruction.
What has been obstructed?
They are not investigating Russia.
What it said that they are not investigating that they don't want to investigate?
Well, guess what?
He is the president, Mr. Mueller.
This isn't it one of your failed anthrax cases or one of your failed "Whitey" Bulger
cases.
This is the president of the United States.
Spot on.
There is no explanation.
This is a coordinated campaign to bring down Trump.
Period.
End of story.

Trump Looks NRA Members In the Eye, Says 4 Words That Made The Room ERUPT! - Duration: 4:55.
Trump Looks NRA Members In the Eye, Says 4 Words That Made The Room ERUPT!
President Trump was recently in Texas where he gave a speech to members and employees
of the National Rifle Association this past Friday.
He took the opportunity to discuss a variety of issues from people who belong to the base
of the Republican Party.
What he had to say had everyone freaking out but in a good way,
When referencing the men and women of Texas fighting he said,
"They had men all over the place, the [Santa Anna] army was big.
This time they were met by dozens of Texans, soldiers, settlers and ordinary citizens,
who had rushed to Gonzalez to defend their rights and their freedom as Santa Anna's
men watched from a distance, those brave Texans raised the flag for all to see."
The Daily Caller reported, "The flag, Trump explained, had a cannon
on it along with four words: "Come and take it."
The crowd bust into cheers and a standing round of applause when Trump uttered those
words.
They eventually broke out into a massive "USA" chant.
"Like those early Texans, Americans will never surrender, ever, ever, ever," Trump
added.
"We will never ever surrender.
We will never give up our freedom.
Americans are born free.
We will live free and we will die free.""
The President further discussed how Second Amendment rights are under siege and that
they need to be more protected.
It was his first speech to the National Rifle Association since the Parkland, Florida s******g
on Valentine's Day.
NBC reported,
"In his address to the group Friday, Trump renewed his pledge to possibly "harden"
public schools, arm "highly trained" teachers and guards, and improve mental health and
background checks to curb mass shootings.
Trump also boasted about the economy, hours after the announcement that the unemployment
rate had fallen to 3.9 percent for the first time since 2000.
He praised rapper Kanye West, who has sparked controversy over the past few days with a
series of political remarks, including positive comments about Trump himself — and credited
the entertainer with what he described as a surge in African-American support: "Thank
you, Kanye."
But he launched familiar attacks on immigration, the special counsel's investigation and
Senate Democrats, whom he blasted for "slow-walking" his nominees.
"In the history of this country, there has been nothing like what Democrats are doing,"
he told the crowd."
However, one group in particular that did not have nice things to say or responses to
the President's speech was the Parkland, Florida s******g survivors who are running
the Never Again movement.
David Hogg Tweeted this.
Cameron Kasky, a Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student, called the President
a professional liar when appearing on a news outlet for an interview.
He accused the President of saying anything in order to appease the crowd in which he
was speaking to.
Kasky spoke on Saturday morning on CNN's New Day.
He said,
"If he's in front of families he might say something in support of commonsense g*n
reform.
But then when he's at the NRA, he'll say something to get a big cheer."
The Huffington Post reported,
"Trump staunchly defended the Second Amendment and called the NRA a "great organization"
in his headlining speech.
It was in stark contrast to the tone he struck (when he also suggested some form of g*n control)
in the aftermath of the Parkland m******e.
Kasky further likened this year's NRA convention held in Dallas to "Comic-Con" in that
"you only really get the die-hard fans" there.
"The average Americans who are NRA members, the ones who perhaps got their membership
free with the purchase of a handgun, they're not showing up there, and they're not holding
Trump accountable for what he needs to actually talk about," said Kasky, adding that the
average NRA member "did not agree with Trump's stance on g**s.""
However, his opinion is not exactly a popular one that many agree with.
Look no further than to the millions of firearm owners in the United States of America.
At the end of the day, the people who belong to the National Rifle Association are every
day average Americans.
Those are the people who belong to the Republican party and those are the people that voted
for him.
Of course, the President is going to ensure their rights are protected, which are given
to them under the Constitution.
Expecting anything less would be foolhardy.
He is a Republican, and he is going to champion Republican ideals.
So buckle up for the next 7 years because that is never going to change.
what do you think about this?

Case Closed!
Mueller Says 'Secret Powers' Allow Him To Investigate Trump, Reagan-Appointed Judge
Demolishes Him!
Robert Mueller was assigned as a special prosecutor in May of last year.
His investigation was to bring to light whether or not the Trump election team colluded with
the Russian government to help Trump get elected.
So far, there has been very little investigating of Russian collusion and a lot of investigating
Trump, his family and everyone who works for him.
President Trump and GOP leaders have called on Jeff Sessions to close the investigation
and stop the sweeping powers of the Mueller team.
They believe that Mueller is acting way outside of the scope of the investigation and needs
to be reeled in.
Today in Federal court, the Mueller team was harshly rebuked by U.S. District Judge T.S.
Ellis III, who was appointed by President Reagan.
FoxNews – A federal judge on Friday harshly rebuked Special Counsel Robert Mueller's
team during a hearing for ex-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort – suggesting they
lied about the scope of the investigation, are seeking "unfettered power" and are
more interested in bringing down the president.
The hearing, where Manafort's team fought to dismiss an 18-count indictment on tax and
bank fraud-related charges, took a confrontational turn as it was revealed that at least some
of the information in the investigation derived from an earlier Justice Department probe – in
the U.S. attorney's office for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Manafort's attorneys argue the special counsel does not have the power to indict him on the
charges they have brought – and seemed to find a sympathetic ear with Ellis.
The Reagan-appointed judge asked Mueller's team where they got the authority to indict
Manafort on alleged crimes dating as far back as 2005.
The special counsel argues that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein granted them broad
authority in his May 2, 2017 letter appointing Mueller to this investigation.
But after the revelation that the team is using information from the earlier DOJ probe,
Ellis said that information did not "arise" out of the special counsel probe – and therefore
may not be within the scope of that investigation.
"We don't want anyone with unfettered power," he said.
Mueller's team says its authorities are laid out in documents including the August
2017 scope memo – and that some powers are actually secret because they involve ongoing
investigations and national security matters that cannot be publicly disclosed.
Ellis seemed amused and not persuaded.
He summed up the argument of the Special Counsel's Office as, "We said this was what [the]
investigation was about, but we are not bound by it and we were lying."
Judge Ellis might be the first voice of reason that we have heard out of any person on the
Federal side of anything.
When the judge asked them how they felt they had the power to indict Manafort on alleged
crimes dating back to 2005, they responded with, "the scope of there powers are secret."
Secret?
According to TheHill, Special counsel Robert Mueller is requesting 70 blank subpoenas ahead
of the trial of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort.
Mueller is making the request for the subpoenas in the Alexandria, Va., court where Manafort
is facing trial on several charges, including bank fraud.
A spokesman for the special counsel confirmed to The Hill that the filing is an additional
set of requests, after prosecutors previously requested 35 sets of blank subpoenas for the
trial.
If Mueller's powers remain unfettered, anyone around the president should be afraid.
We have seen members of the FBI, and DOJ, at the highest levels lie to get this investigation
started.
Only Attorney General, Jeff Sessions can stop the wildfire.
The only question is will he.

Federal Judge Drops Crushing Anvil On Mueller Investigation, Delivers Trump Victory - Duration: 5:28.
Federal Judge Drops Crushing Anvil On Mueller Investigation, Delivers Trump Victory.
Nice to see not all judges are partisan and some are starting to wake up and sounding
the alarm.
Yesterday a Federal judge in Virginia expressed alarming skepticism about the actions of special
counsel Robert Mueller's investigation, in the bank fraud case against former Trump
campaign chairman Paul Manafort.
To the point that he even said what everyone has known from day one, that he believes that
Mueller's motivation is to oust President Donald Trump from office.
This all went down at a tense hearing in a federal court in Virginia on Friday, where
U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III sharply questioned whether Mueller exceeded his authority
in filing tax, and bank fraud charges against Trump's former campaign manager, Paul Manafort
since all he was supposed to be doing is investigating Russian collision between the Trump Campaign
and the Kremlin.
"The vernacular is to sing," Ellis said.
"You don't really care about Mr. Manafort," the judge said.
"You really care about what information Mr. Manafort can give you to lead to Mr. Trump"
and his eventual prosecution or impeachment.
"It's unlikely you're going to persuade me the special counsel has unfettered power
to do whatever he wants," Ellis, who was appointed by Republican President Ronald Reagan,
said at a hearing on Manafort's motion to dismiss the Virginia charges."
Ellis later added that it appeared that with these charges Mueller and company are trying
to bully Manafort into flipping on Trump, and giving them information which could be
used against the president.
Manafort served as Trump's campaign manager for five months, and also faces federal charges
in Washington.
Where he is being accused of conspiring to launder money and failing to register as a
foreign agent, when he lobbied for the pro-Russia Ukrainian government.
Something which Democrat Party operatives do regularly but get away with it.
Manfort previously lost a civil suit making similar complaints about the special counsel's
investigation last week.
Manafort had filed a lawsuit in Washington claiming Rosenstein and Mueller exceeded their
authority in charging him with alleged crimes, he said had nothing to do with the 2016 campaign.
DC District Judge Amy Berman Jackson dismissed that lawsuit, saying a civil case was "not
the appropriate vehicle" for objecting to either past or future actions by a prosecutor.
Here is more on this story via Reuters:
"A WITCH HUNT"
Trump enthusiastically read the judge's comments out loud to his audience during a
speech to the National Rifle Association in Dallas, saying they echoed his longstanding
views.
He called Ellis "a very respected person."
"I've been saying that for a long time.
It's a witch hunt," he said of Mueller's probe into his campaign's ties to Russia
and whether it colluded with Russians to interfere in the 2016 election.
He also distanced himself from Manafort, calling him a nice guy but saying "he worked for
me for a very short period of time."
The sharp tone of the judge's comments could spell trouble for Mueller's case against
Manafort, and put even greater pressure on Rosenstein to rein in the Russia investigation.
But several legal experts cautioned against reading too much into the comments.
"I think there are some judges that believe that in being evenhanded, they should give
the winner a hard time, too," said James Trusty, a former federal prosecutor now with
the law firm Ifrah Law.
"At the end of the day, it's very dangerous to read the tea leaves from comments from
the bench."
Lisa Kern Griffin, a professor at Duke University School of Law and a former federal prosecutor,
said it is unlikely Ellis will dismiss the charges against Manafort because bringing
them was "almost certainly" within Mueller's broad authority.
If Ellis dismissed the charges, they would likely be reinstated by an appeals court,
Griffin said.
"I think Judge Ellis may just be putting to the government through its paces," she
said.
"That is not uncommon."
The hearing on Friday was the third time Manafort has tried to get charges against him dismissed.
A civil case alleging the Justice Department's order appointing Mueller was overly broad
was tossed last month.
He also asked for dismissal of the Washington-based criminal charges on similar legal grounds,
but there has not been a ruling.
Ellis did not rule on the motion to dismiss on Friday.
Ellis asked why a run-of-the-mill bank fraud case with no "reference to any Russian individual
or Russian bank", could not be handed over to the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern
District of Virginia.
As an example, he pointed to the FBI probe into Trump's personal lawyer, Michael Cohen,
and said the special counsel had turned that matter over to federal prosecutors in Manhattan.
Dreeben declined to discuss the Cohen case.
Ellis also complained that the bulk of that August memo he received was highly redacted.
He told Mueller's office to take two weeks to consult with U.S. intelligence agencies
to see, whether they would sign off so that he can personally review a sealed, unredacted
version of the memo.
Dreeben told him the redacted portions did not pertain to the Manafort case.
"I'll be the judge," Ellis said.
What do you think about this?

President Trump Attends a Roundtable Discussion on Tax Reform in Cleveland Ohio - Breaking News - Duration: 43:22.
thank you very much it's a great honor to be here this was the thank you so
many of those beautiful hats do we love those hats remember you have to win the
great state of Ohio and did we win the great state of Ohio and I always say I
always say this how are we doing now compared to the election and so far the
answers always been better or much better everyplace so we're doing great
and we just had a couple of meetings with some of the folks and I'll tell you
what we have great great people in this state this is a very very special place
and this is a little bit of a business roundtable today we're going to be
talking with secretary Alix a cost of Congressman Jim Rene sees as you know
running for the Senate we need his vote very badly he'll be fantastic I've known
him forever I've known Jim for a long time and he agrees with what we're doing
and he agrees he look at the steel plants and steel mills are starting to
open again I just left the president of United States steel and he said it's
incredible what's happening and you know we did a thing called tariffs and we did
on steel and aluminum and we're doing a lot of other things my group just got
back from China we're gonna have to rework trade with China because that's
been a one-way street for decades and we just can't have it happen and so we'll
do that and we have a lot of respect for President Xi and we have a lot of
respect for China but I can't go on that way and that all work out we're doing
very well on as you know North Korea we'll see what happens but we have a
meeting set up we have the location all done we have the time and place all
finished now we have the date and so I think that'll be something very special
if you remember we were into that others from the administration we're saying
that's going to be the toughest problem and certainly it's a problem but there
are many problems that will we had we broke 4% yesterday you saw
that first time and you know there are two ways of saying it you could say
first time in 20 years or first time in this century and we really were doing
great from that standpoint and we want to get we want to get our workers back
we want to get our we want to make our product here we want to make our
everything you know we this is America first now folks this is now America
first it's enough what we've been doing for the last long period of time
thank you we have make America great again we have America first you can
choose whichever one you want or you can choose both like I really want to choose
both but the choice is America first because we really and and by the way
other countries they put themselves first okay I'm not saying you know we've
had where we talked about America well the fact is we want to be first we're
gonna make our country great and you know what people from other countries
they're going to do what they have to do but we're gonna bring it to a level
playing field right now you look at our trade deficits with every country
virtually I mean I don't even have to ask I don't have to go around how are we
doing with this country or that country for the most part almost every time
we're doing badly we have deficits with everybody and don't let anyone ever tell
you that trade deficits are okay they're not okay they're not okay
we have massive trade deficits with China we have massive trade deficits
with Mexico who would think a hundred billion dollar trade deficit with Mexico
who would even think that and that doesn't include lots of other problems
you see that on the border I really thought they'd be much tougher
and better to us on the caravan didn't quite work out but that's okay that's
okay it's going to end up working out our
borders are and our laws are a mess our immigration laws are a disgrace and
Mexico has some of the toughest immigration laws in the world you can't
just go into but they allow these people to come up
through Mexico and come into our country and they know that our laws are so weak
that once they get up there it's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen
you've seen catch and release you catch them and then you release him okay
that's what it is catch if there's a Democrat rule sherrod Brown this is a
Democrat we'll catch it at least you catch a me release them and just to show
how ridiculous we have judges we have thousands of judges do you think other
countries have judges forgive them like trials that's the good news the bad news
is they never show up to the trial okay so they release them and they have a
trial and supposed to take place in a year
a year not the following day but that's okay there's only one problem
nobody ever shows up there in the country welcome to the United States and
these are the laws that we're suffering with these are were this is why you'll
see and the wall we have to build how about the wall where everyone scales the
world
now we are fixing and building walls now but we need much more money we're doing
the job right we're gonna do the job and we may have to close up our country to
get this straight because we either have a country or we don't and you can't
allow people to pour into our country the way they're doing you just take a
look at that mess that's on television right now it is a total catastrophe and
these are the laws passed by Democrats so that we have open borders they want
open borders we have to have borders if you don't have borders you don't have a
country so we're gonna have it step by step by step we've made a lot of
progress and we're gonna be making a lot of progress in that too and we have
actually you know it's very interesting in San Diego they wanted a wall but we
have the money to build well we are actually you know we got 1.6 billion for
fixing and building but in San Diego California where we have a lot of
problem you know we have a governor that's not cooperative wants to have you
know between sanctuary cities and let people come in with open borders and
everything else it's not easy for our Border Patrol people it's not easy for
our ice people how about the mayor of Oakland where she notifies them that ice
will be coming so everybody splits up and this was a well orchestrated
situation she notifies them that ice will be coming and everybody splits up
so all of that work and all of that everything to do what they had to do it
turned out to be a big bust it's very very sad and let me tell you that's
called obstruction of justice you want to know that is called total obstruction
of justice so we're getting it straightened out it will be straightened
out soon we passed the biggest taxes if you look
I mean you take a look at the tax I call it the tax cut plan you know you wanted
to go at the tax reform plan I say how come since Reagan nothing has passed
having to do with tax cuts how can and being a non-politician I'd say how is it
possible not to be able to pass tax cuts they said well it hasn't happened since
Ronald Reagan and it were near what we're doing but essentially tax cuts
even at a small level I said I don't understand you're going to reduce taxes
for people and you can't get votes they say no sir they say huh I can't
figure it out then I found out they don't call it tax cuts they've called
the tax reform well tax reform might mean your taxes go
way up it could mean a lot of bad things so I said here's what we'll do we're
gonna call this plan the tax cut plan tax cut
see you take tax cut we're gonna cut taxes we're not going to reform we're
gonna reform - so I was I couldn't believe it
I couldn't because I looked and I studied like four or five attempts and
they failed miserably so they called me up and I what - no sir what's the
official name you'd like on the bill I wanted to be called this is true they
didn't want to do it they thought it was a little hokey and I think they were
right but I wanted to be called the tax cut cut cut cut plan I actually did I
would have put it in you know that Charlie and they said that's a little
you know in front of the United States guys I said I said all right so we'll
call it the tax cut and jobs plan and we did that and we got it passed and it's
the first time the biggest in our history
and the stock market since the election the stock market is up almost 35 percent
think of it almost 35 percent and honestly and companies are doing even
better than that companies are doing better they are ready to just do numbers
that you've never seen before and we do need people coming in to account not
unemployed we need people coming in but I will tell you this we want people to
come in to power country on the basis of merit not picked out of our so we're
working on merit systems because we need people to help you know we have up in
Wisconsin we have Foxconn coming in that's friend of mine they make many of
the Apple iPhones and Apple equipment and I said to Tim Cook who is now
investing three hundred and fifty billion dollars Apple and they're
bringing much of it in from foreign lands from overseas they're bringing it
in because of our new tax plan because it gave them the incentive to bring
money so these big companies are bringing the money back and they're
investing it in the United States Tim Cook is bringing two hundred and thirty
billion dollars back from overseas money you would have never seen and Apple
spending three hundred and fifty billion dollars on new plants and a campus so
it's great so we have a lot of things happening and in Ohio you know what's
going on the auto companies are starting to come back they're starting to expand
I had I was so nice I was greeted at the airport by great people and some of them
were coal miners and one of them said they dressed in beautiful actually a
black shirt I said give me one of those I weren't aware that I ever play golf
I'll wear that shirt is beautiful it was beautiful actually but they're
proud and they were four of them and they were standing they greeted me off
the airplane there are a lot of people waiting at the airplane and I went over
they said sir were coal miners and since the day you got elected we've been
filling up the trains I said what do you do said we load trains I said well
that's description I mean I don't need better
than that that says it all said we load trains and from the day you got elected
we've been loading trains before that I said how was it they said not good there
wasn't too many trains to be loaded but he said I haven't had a day off since
the day you got elected and that's happening and it's gonna be happening
even more so so when it's all together and when everything is really set and
it's really going well it's going much better than people even understand our
military we got seven hundred billion dollars I didn't like having to do this
last budget because there's a lot of things that the Democrats put in that I
hate but I had to get money for our military our military was depleted we
weren't getting the new equipment you will see the same stories that I do and
we needed help and I got 700 billion dollars and then I got 716 billion
dollars and remember that equipment is all made here it's made in the United
States we make the greatest missile systems the greatest planes we make the
greatest military equipment and a lot of other equipment including commercial
planes but we make the greatest military equipment in the world you got to see
that recently when you saw what we did in Syria where they said oh we shut down
40 missiles I don't think so I called up I said how many were shot down none none
stealth missiles it's called stealth missiles and every single one
we shot in 109 and we had 109 hit their target and by the way France and the UK
was great they helped us they were they were with us all the way and we
appreciate that but we make the greatest equipment in the world but we had to fix
our military we also wanted something that has a tremendous impact on Ohio is
the opioid disaster drugs generally but the opioid we got six billion dollars
for opioid prevention and work and rehab and we need help we need help and we're
very very tough one of the reasons we want the strong borders a lot of this
stuff comes in from different places but it comes in from Mexico it comes along
the southern border and we're stopping it we're making it much tougher but we
can't do that unless Congress gives us the tools that we need we have to get
rid of catch-and-release we need strong strong tools we don't want the lottery
system we want a merit system can you imagine a lottery system can you imagine
it we take people based out of a lottery a lottery you think the country's
putting their finest and the lottery I don't think so
I don't think so alright think about that
and you know the problem is that these beliefs are so deep seeded in the
Democrats like a sherrod Brown there so I mean you have to we need the votes Jim
will be Fanta you're not a big lottery system and are you good okay otherwise I
have to take away my mother I say Jim I can no longer endorse you Jim now we
want to merit we want a merit system where they come in based on merit so
we're gonna get a lot of things done we have a lot of great people running I
think we're gonna do very well in the midterms the poll numbers are you know
pretty good the question is whether or not they actually say that I'm popular
could you believe it of course the fake thank you now we just had a poll 51 or
52 which came out you know very nicely and then I turn on like you know one of
the networks and I see Donald Trump who's not very popular and say what are
you talking about try Q so the poll came out that I'm above Obama Obama then no
but then you turn to the fake news and they go Donald Trump who's not very
popular I'm saying to myself how do they get away with it you know I'm not saying
hey it's going good we're doing well it actually amazes me when you can be at 51
or 52 on a poll that was very this is Rasmussen it was very accurate for the
election one of the more accurate Falls for the election and you're in that
category and you get nothing but bad publicity I mean I get nothing but bad
publicity I say how is it possible that I can do
that now it's fake publicity and some of the you know some of the I have to tell
you there's some great professionals do in that world you know I don't want to
make it like everybody but the amazing thing is that the people is smart they
get it you see the jobs now you have choice to just like we're getting the
veterans choice we're gonna have that very soon by the
way you're gonna have choice of jobs of jobs
you know people people would have one job and they were petrified to leave
that job they didn't want to leave that job because they didn't think you know
they were you know working at thing you gotta love what you do you're not gonna
be good at it you gotta love and now you're gonna have choice because there
are a lot of jobs we have a lot of job openings and and people that weren't
hiring for years and years and years all of a sudden we have jobs and you know
one of the folks that my people were so impressed with is on my left is Charlene
and I'd like to ask some of the people up here to just talk a little bit about
what the tax cuts have meant because the tax cuts have helped so many people
in such a big way and Shelley do you think I could start by maybe asking you
to say a few words my name is Charlene Thornton and I'm originally from Maine
and I moved out here to the Ohio Valley in 2002 the reason I'm here is because I
wrote a letter to you and I didn't really think it was going to be read but
it was there listening so and the subject of my letter was to let you know
that this tax cut and jobs plan was affecting us positively we also wanted
to let you know that we were here supporting you my husband Kevin was he
worked in a steel mill and it closed down in 2012 due to the company going
bankrupt so he was then there were a lot of people who actually lost their jobs
at that time our whole area was saturated with unemployed and then he
spent the next one and a half years retraining and then at the same time
searching for a job fortunately I was employed for one of those years the
first year of it I then became legally blind and could no longer work couldn't
drive and we have no transportation public in our area also it so
essentially what happened was we fell into such hard times that we had to rape
to have a surrender car to be repossessed we almost lost our home and
then we struggled every day to make ends meet we basically lived off of my credit
cards and both of our unemployment which still wasn't enough to cover finally he
found a job January of 2014 he's still with them but because of the tax cut and
the job plan they're taking out a lot less taxes than what they had been prior
to before we have actually seen in several checks two to three hundred
dollars less taxes than what they did before the plan
those are real numbers I actually went back and looked at his income in the
taxes before and after and I was amazed so it really is working so I do want to
thank you mr. president for making our lives a lot less more enjoyable
and this is my husband Kevin Kevin would you like to say something yes first of
all thank Thank You mr. president we're inviting us to giving us the opportunity
to tell you our story I've been a lifelong resident of Hubbard a small
city just northeast of Youngstown and in 2000 I started working for what would be
known as RG Steele and stayed there until it's closing in June of 2012 they
told us all to go home the mill had gone was gone into bankruptcy 50 days later
the mill was sold for scrap all of us that work there we loved that place we
really did and we were all deeply impacted there were 700 of us we all
lost our jobs I was out of work that she had said for a year and a half and it
was a brief period in time where we went with no income at all no paycheck
nothing but thankfully thankfully in January of 2014 I found employment with
the current company I'm working with and it's a great company - with great people
and room for us to always expand and grow I had a drive an hour and a half
though it's one of their facilities and I did that for three years until
recently I was able to relocate to a facility closer to life and that took
off a burden for me the compy unemployed with has been seeing huge amounts of
demand for their product they had this tax cut that we're having is enabling
them to purchase new machinery open up buildings they previously had closed and
to hire more people and I didn't think that I would ever be able to say this in
my life but I think I can now at this rate I think I'll be able to be
gainfully employed until my retirement
I've been hearing that from steel companies and in particular from us
steel where I was with the president as I said and he they're just talking about
opening plants now and so many things have changed and that's because of our
stance and also on the tariffs 25% tariffs on steel 10% on aluminum plus it
gives us the right now other countries want to negotiate with us because of it
and you're seeing things happening now again we're gonna take care of our
people we've been taking care of a lot of the world and they never appreciate
it a lot of this world never appreciated what we do we fight wars for them and we
fight all sorts of things and then they take advantage of us on trade on top of
everything else so we're gonna keep a lot of friends but they're gonna respect
us again and they've started to respect us again and that makes me feel very
good so thank you I'm sherry Schiele CEO of appliances south of Youngstown we've
been in business for 66 geum's any longer so we now have very high premiums
and also higher deductibles last year we had two medical situations involving my
son and then later on in the air my husband that required several days in
the hospital and my husband actually has more surgeries coming and what the bonus
that you made possible we were able to pay down some of our medical bills so I
just really want to thank you mr. president and the she leaves for making
it possible for our family
you know you mentioned Obamacare it's been a disaster and we are we actually
had it beaten except for one vote you remember that beautiful night it was it
was defeated but one vote changed they changed but one of those things but
we've actually done a great job because in the tax cut plan we got rid of the
individual mandate which is the most unpopular part and now we're going to be
doing other things like association health insurance and we have our great
Secretary of Labor who is in charge of that and I guess over the next few weeks
we're gonna have a very very big announcement on health care we have a
few of them because Alex azar also is going to be making a big statement so by
the time we do these various plans that we're doing and they're fantastic for
people and they cost the government relatively little and maybe I could ask
Alex Acosta to say a few words about it Secretary of Labor mr. president thank
you and uh and and and and so you know the story that you shared with us is
destroyed we've heard from so many Americans there are 11 million Americans
and their families that work for small businesses that can no longer afford
health care and that's a big big problem right and so one of the things that
folks don't know is that Obamacare puts a greater burden on small businesses in
our corporations and so the president's vision is is there a way that small
businesses can band together so they can just get the same access to health care
as the big corporations so we're working on a proposal to do just that and the
president's very focused on this and that's something that the Department of
Labor is hoping to announce in the very very near future that's gonna be
transformative 11 million Americans and their families at small businesses that
don't have access to health care that could have that access
under association health care plans and let me let me just add one one final
word that the president touched on the tax cut and Jobs Act and I just wanted
to say that the president has made promises to the American people he's
promised to cut taxes and the taxes have been cut and he's promised that we're
gonna find jobs and create jobs and the Trump economy has created since his
election 3.2 million new jobs and since the tax cuts alone the Trump economy has
created since the tax cuts alone 800,000 new jobs that's transforming lives
promises made and promises kept
Jim you know Jim Rohn AC has been really terrific he's represented Ohio for a
long time he had a successful a very successful businessman and he's now as
you know running for the Senate again sherrod Brown who does not think the way
we think and when it comes to borders when it comes to so much and remember
it's also the vote because they're gonna vote as a block and the Democrats are
very weak on borders very weak on health care the health care that they had is a
disaster and it's coming to an end very weak on you look at the borders they
don't want the wall but we're gonna get the wall even if we have to think about
closing up the country for a while we're gonna get the wall we have no choice we
have absolutely no choice and we're going to get tremendous security in our
kind but Jim has been there all the way he's
highly respected in Washington just a respected person really knows what it is
to go out and make a dollar go out and spend a dollar understands business
understands what we're doing in the country and understands what it takes to
make America great again and I give Jim my full support and Jim maybe you could
say a few words well thank you mr. president thank you and welcome back to
Ohio it's really great to have you here the first time I met you you were a
candidate from and I told you I was with you then and I've been with you every
day since it's true I appreciate what you're doing look I'm that I was a small
businessman as many of you know I created over 15 own jobs employed over
3,000 people so I understand and I'm still a CPA and I still have my CPA
license to understand what this tax law does so I was so happy when the
president said we're going to cut taxes for Americans and as I travel the state
I hear that all the time I hear it from small business owners I hear it from
employees I'm so happy these that we're hearing these stories
and I know we're going to hear some more because as I travel the state it's
working it's working in here in Ohio everywhere from key Corp who lowered or
raised their minimum wage because of these tax cuts to smokers who gave
everybody $1,000 bonus added money into their pension plan stare us right up the
road $1,000 bonus all these things
but you know it's just not the big companies either because the small
company is the little companies doing just the same thing coach truck and
tractor in Conneaut just seven people actually gave that seven person business
gave bonuses to their employees small business we also have the first federal
community bank in Dover thousand dollar bonus two full-time employees and five
hundred to part-time so it's working but you know what the greatest story is when
I travel the state of Ohio it's when I walk into a restaurant and somebody
walks up to me and says thank you thank you because I got a couple extra hundred
dollars in my check last month and now I can put a little bit more away for
college or I can put a little bit more way and pay off my car loan these are
the stories that are working this is why I'm so proud to be standing here with or
sitting here with the president and knowing that we eat together we're able
to put a tax plan together with his vision and get it passed so again thank
you for being
and I have to say I just looked at the numbers and Jim's really doing great
he's really got a big shot at doing it he's been as I said he's been a
fantastic congressman and I really suspect you're going to be a even more
fantastic senator so we need your vote we need your help so go out and help Jim
we'll get it done thank you Tony would you say a few words mr. president I want
to thank you for inviting us today really truly honored to be here I hope
you don't mind if I stutter a little bit because not a little nervous I first
want to recognize a couple of people Ohio congressman David Joyce his aide
Nick Giovanni and Ted Yates was the mayor of Twinsburg Ohio these are the
gentlemen who made it possible for me to be here today thank you my name is Toni
Kroos Garry and I'm the owner of Ohio Industrial Sales we're a small company
located in Twinsburg Ohio which is about 25 miles from here I guess just south of
Cleveland I started this company in my basement in 1978 and in July of this
year we will celebrate 40 years after working for thirty eight and a half
years I finally decided to retire and I turned the business over to my son and
named him president who happens to be in first row on the blue shirt and although
I still remain active and some of the important decisions of the company let's
call them a veto rights Todd still runs the business I try to
stay out of his way and he's doing a great job I know I know your people were
interested in having small business represented here today and I guess you
could say we're about as small as you're gonna get our company employs 13 people
14 if you include me and we have annual sales of approximately 3 million dollars
when I received the news about the tax cut I contacted our accountant to find
out how it impacted our company and I was thrilled to find out that we would
receive over a 20% tax reduction in our final bottom line that information along
with the savings that our employees got on their paycheck I decided to get
everybody in the company a $500 bonus and I know it's not the $1,000 that a
lot of the other people are getting but you can let Nancy Pelosi know that my
people appreciate the crumbs that they receive
the the additional monies that we're receiving from the tax benefits are
going to be used to to buy some new equipment and to hire some additional
employees we may even get up to fifteen or sixteen and Todd and I'll bet he's
very easy to work with right now a little bit about our company we're a
distributor for several manufacturers that manufacture high temperature
ceramic fiber products these are products that are used in applications
that range from a thousand degrees up to three thousand degrees Fahrenheit and
our services for them include die-cutting steel fabrication
distribution and also contracting we service the steel industry aluminum each
reading forging foundries chemical etc and we also have several military
contracts one if I was to make one final point I know there have been many people
in the media and some of your opposition who have claimed that your tax cut is
only benefiting the large companies and their executives well I'm here to say
that's not true we're small and we are getting we're small and we're getting
the benefit as much as any big company goes
you know you have to remember that these large companies that you keep hearing
about this is sort of you know plays it to a certain narrative but most of these
companies are owned by millions of shareholders and they're the benefits
years those are the people out there so whether it's a large company and they
have a million or two million shareholders and those are the people
that are getting that that dividend or they're getting the benefit of a stock
increase as because you look at the stock prices they're at all-time highs
but so when they hear when you hear the word the large companies most of them
are owned by millions of people so everybody is benefiting so you got to
put that down and you have to remember that very important Tony thank you very
much great job just just one final point and I hope this doesn't sound like a
commercial but I'm sincere when I tell you President Trump that we thank you
for what you're doing for our business and small businesses and I think I speak
for small businesses all over this country that we thank you for doing what
you're doing to help us make America great
I'd like to thank Tony Choice Kerry and President Trump for being here today
it's an honor and a privilege sir I have a positive story to share about the tax
cuts and it centers around my son Grayson who's one year one year old and
I was the proudest happiest day of my life due to the tax cuts our company was
able to give out a very generous $500 bonus to myself and other employees
I used that bonus to start a college savings account for my son that I would
not have been able to do at that time without the bonus also due to the extra
take-home pay in my paycheck I was about $125 a month we've been able to move him
into one of the better daycares in our area and it's just fabulous see him
growing every every single day he's learning something new
reading his favorite book it's it's heartwarming but you know the negative
spin the rhetoric from the from the media you don't hear positive stories
like that those don't grab the headlines and I just want to say I'm a damn proud
American to be here today and to be able to share that story and thank you for
all your hard work that that you do and you continue to do on a day-to-day basis
it's great keep up the great work
thank you very much thanks beautiful and that is beautifully stated - thank you
very much thank you sir please my name is Chris how to me I'm from New Franklin
Ohio I was born and raised in Texas when I was 19 I enlisted in the Marine Corps
after four years of active duty sir
after four years of active duty service I moved to Ohio with my wife and and we
decided to settle down and start a family I've been here for eight years
now and we have two beautiful daughters
Hayden and Savannah they're both at home right now and with
the rest of my family still in Texas we only get to visit them every other year
or so so because of these tax cuts we're now saving over $1400 a year which gives
me the opportunity to take my family here in Ohio down to Texas to visit my
family down there family is very important to me and my my wife and it
just means a lot to us that we are now able to do that on a more frequent basis
I am so grateful for the opportunity to be able to come here and tell you in
person thank you for what you're doing for our family you know like my husband
said we're saving over fourteen hundred dollars a year because of this tax good
and not only does that give us the opportunity to go visit family in Texas
that we don't get to see often my husband and I actually made kind of a
deal with each other when we decided we were actually going to settle down in
Ohio and not Texas in North Carolina or any of the other states we were tied to
we were gonna hold off on buying a house until we had our debt paid off you know
we wanted to get the student loans and the car loans and you know just all the
little debt that catches up with you and adulthood that we wanted to pay off
before we bought a house so not only is that giving us the opportunity to stay
closer to our out-of-state family that puts us about much closer to our goal of
actually buying our house and settling down permanently in Ohio so thank you so
much
well these the stories that you hearing all across America and there's just
nothing negative to say they're incredible people
they're savers they're workers they they're proud to pay tax they're proud
they're their you love to pay they know what what's happening but now we're
spending the money wisely also you know you have to spend it wisely at the top
but our country is doing great it's I think maybe doing as good or better than
it's ever done before and it's only gonna get better
we have tremendous things planned and we're gonna start being smart about our
relationship with other countries and others and you're gonna see tremendous
progress over the next hopefully seven years but it's not even I take seven
years it's gonna go very quickly it's gonna happen really very quickly we all
love this country we love it a lot those were incredible stories I really I
think it's just amazing to hear you could we could take almost everybody in
the room probably everybody in the room then hear a similar story but I'm very
honored to have been able to do the tax cut tax cut plan because it has led to a
lot of jobs it has led to better jobs it has led to increase salary but also not
only the increase in the salary but you have a lot left over which is money that
most people even the people up here certainly but probably most of the
people in the audience didn't expect to see or have and it's made a big
difference in a lot of lives we do a lot of these we meet a lot of people it's
made a tremendous difference and I am so honored to have been able to help and
we're gonna do a lot more over the coming year so again thank you all for
being here thank you
thank you
that's very nice I really appreciate it and your special special people and
enjoy your lives we're going to make your lives a lot better every single
year they're gonna get better and better and it's an honor to be with the people
of Ohio thank you very much thank

Teacher Of The Year Honored By Trump Immediately Stabs Him Back – Now People Want Her Stripped Of Aw - Duration: 15:23.
Teacher Of The Year Honored By Trump Immediately Stabs Him Back – Now People Want Her Stripped
Of Award
The winner if this year's National Teacher of the year award met with President Donald
Trump during a White House ceremony to present her with the prestigious award.
However, there was quite a catch that turned the congratulatory honor into a bit of a scandal
that has social media bursting in outrage.
President Trump entered and everyone applauded.
However, the teacher, Mandy Manning, remained silent and even made a dissatisfied facial
gesture when the president congratulated her.
What was perhaps the most interesting of the debacle was what the teacher was wearing.
Manning wore six badges on her black dress.
One was a poster for the Women's March that followed Trump's inauguration, one said
"Trans Equality Now" and one in the shape of an apple with a rainbow.
What could have been a wonderful moment for all teachers was unfortunately marred by bitterness
and silent protest.
A perfect moment for a conversation perhaps became a moment of division.
Here is more on what President Trump had to say via The Hill: "Trump praised Manning
and the other award finalists and teachers from each state.
"Her incredible devotion has earned her the adoration — total adoration, actually
— and respect of students and colleagues throughout her school district, community
and the entire state," Trump said during the award ceremony.
Teachers like Mandy play a vital role in the well-being of our children, the strength of
our communities and the success of our nation," he added.
Manning was not the only teacher to vocalize her concerns about the Trump administration's
education policies."
Manning teaches refugees and immigrant students at Joel E Ferris high school in Spokane, Washington,
which is a school that specializes in English language development for new refugees and
immigrant students.
A teacher who leads a classroom for teenage refugees staged a silent protest by wearing
several overtly political badges while receiving an award from Donald Trump at the White House.
Mandy Manning works at the Newcomer Center at Joel E Ferris high school in Spokane, Washington,
which specializes in English language development for new refugees and immigrant students.
Trump presented her with the National Teacher of the Year award in the East Room and praised
her "incredible devotion".
The US president said: "Teachers like Mandy play a vital role in the wellbeing of our
children, the strength of our communities and the success of our nation."
Manning wore six badges on her black dress.
According to a pooled report, they included one with a poster for the Women's March
that followed Trump's inauguration, one that said "Trans Equality Now" and one
in the shape of an apple with a rainbow.
The badges also represented the teacher of the year programme, National Education Association
and Peace Corps, where she began her teaching career.
Handing her the clear glass, apple-shaped award on a podium, Trump did not appear to
notice the badges.
He smiled as he and Manning posed for photographers.
The education secretary, Betsy DeVos; the labor secretary, Alex Acosta; and the Peace
Corps director, Jody Olsen, looked on.
Manning told the Associated Press after the ceremony that she used a private moment with
Trump to give him stacks of letters written by her students and members of the Spokane
community.
She said she told Trump she hoped he would read them, and she encouraged him to visit
her school.
"I just had a very, very brief moment so I made it clear that the students that I teach
… are dedicated and focused," Manning said in an interview.
"They make the United States the beautiful place that it is.
Manning said the letters conveyed important messages about what coming to the US meant
to the immigrants and refugees.
The long-running annual event took place against the backdrop of teachers' strikes in Arizona,
Colorado, Kentucky, Oklahoma and West Virginia amid complaints over stagnant pay.
Trump has cracked down on both legal and illegal immigration and suspended the US refugee programme
for a period.
He has demanded that a wall be built on the Mexican border to keep out murderers, drugs
gangs and other criminals."
Towards the end of the ceremony, the President went to shake Manning's hand but she seemed
to keep to herself.
It was later revealed that the teacher handed President Trump a stack of handwritten letters
from the immigrants and refugees she teaches.
She also told CNN that her main goal was to share her students' stories and to let the
immigrants, refugees, and the LGBT community know that they are wanted, that they are loved
and that they matter.
Even though she had other plans for the ceremony, the President continued to praise her for
"incredible devotion" to her job.
Did the teacher miss a chance to have a good chat with President Trump?
Was her silent protest unneccessary?
Share your thoughts on her in the comments and post this story to a teacher friend!

Trump Just Ended Amnesty for 50K People and Now They Have to GO BACK! - Duration: 3:00.
Trump Just Ended Amnesty for 50K People and Now They Have to GO BACK!
President Trump just ended amnesty for approximately fifty thousand people.
The Honduran nationals who have been allowed to stay in the U.S. since 1999, just got some
very bad news.
They now have 18 months to return home, or face deportation.
From Breitbart
President Trump is ending temporary amnesty for about 50,000 Honduran nationals who have
been allowed to stay in the United States since 1999.
In a statement by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Trump administration announced
that they will officially end Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Honduran nationals allowed
to stay in the U.S. after nearly two decades following a hurricane in Honduras.
More than 85,000 Honduran nationals have used TPS to stay in the U.S., but only 50,000 still
remain in the country.
The new directive by the Trump administration will give those Honduran nationals about 18
months to return to Honduras or face deportation.
DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said in a statement:
The decision to terminate TPS for Honduras was made after a review of the environmental
disaster-related conditions upon which the country's original 1999 TPS designation
was based and an assessment of whether those originating conditions continue to exist,
as required by statute.
Based on careful consideration of available information, including recommendations received
as part of an inter-agency consultation process, the Secretary determined that the disruption
of living conditions in Honduras from Hurricane Mitch that served as the basis for its TPS
designation has decreased to a degree that it should no longer be regarded as substantial.
Thus, as required under the applicable statute, the current TPS designation must be terminated.
Since 1999, conditions in Honduras that resulted from the hurricane have notably improved.
Additionally, since the last review of the country's conditions in October 2016, Honduras
has made substantial progress in post-hurricane recovery and reconstruction from the 1998
Hurricane Mitch.
DHS officials say the 18-month delay before
Honduran nationals are eligible for deportation is to allow for "an orderly transition"
and give Honduras time "to prepare for the return and reintegration of its citizens."
Trump has made a substantial effort to gradually return foreign nationals given temporary amnesty
through the TPS program back to their native countries.
Temporary amnesties granted to foreign national populations are often renewed for decades
by administrations even though the original intent of the TPS program is to be temporary
and not permanent.
Most recently, Trump has ended TPS for 1,000 Liberian nationals, Sudanese nationals, 300,000
Central Americans and Haitians, and 200,000 El Salvadorians.

The Journal Editorial Report 5/5/18:TRUMP NOMINEE FOR CIA DIRECTOR - Duration: 7:24.
another Trump nominee facing a contentious confirmation battle hearing
for Jena Haspel the president's pick to lead the CIA is set for Wednesday before
the Senate Intelligence Committee ahead of what the White House admits will be a
close confirmation vote Democrats are facing pressure to oppose Haspel a 33
year veteran of the agency over her role in the CIA's post 9-11 enhanced
interrogation program this as the GOP begins to make good on the president's
promise to target Democrats in the midterm elections for blocking his
nominees a new ad running in Montana this week takes on senator Jon Tester
who led the charge against dr. Ronnie Jackson to lead the VA in Montana we
value integrity and support our president but Jon Tester spread false
information about a respected Navy admiral helping DC Democrats derail
president Trump's Veterans Affairs nominee John testers been part of a DC
swamp for far too long we're back with Kim Rasul and Wall
Street Journal editorial page writer Kate bachelder O'Dell so Dan let's go
right to the tester ad what do you make of that as a as a campaign strategy and
is it fair it's a great campaign strategy and it is eminently fair
because the Democrats pulled up of not only Ronnie Jackson Mike Pompeo they're
gonna do Tokina Haspel now and many many other Trump nominees has been in a word
unfair it has been monstrous and I think they're beginning to pay a price for
that the Mike Pompeo circus was watched by
most of the American people and now we're going to see them do it again to
Jeana Haspel and I think they run the risk of energizing the Republican base
grew but bear in mind that's the big issue in the midterm elections and
they're Democrats been trying to tamp that down but now with these nominee
opposition's I think they're bringing the Republicans out Kim briefly though I
mean I think that tester must have understood what he was doing here taking
a risk and probably needed to gin up his own how do you think it plays out in
though and the the election that's a problem that every
single one of these red state Democrats faces is that the energy and their party
right now is all from the progressive left and their main rallying cry is do
not allow Trump to have a functioning government do not confirm any of these
people this is our standard and what we're going to judge you by and so
tester and others feel pressures to block these nominations problem is they
live in a state where you know the vast majority voted for Trump and if the
Republicans can energize their size on it they might have the greater argument
in the end all right kid let's turn to Gina Haspel who is she
what's what she spent her career doing well we haven't really heard from her
directly because only recently was her 33 year career at the CIA Declassified
she started on the job as a case officer in Africa and worked her way up this the
Bureau what comes up as a clandestine out of the clandestine service yeah
exactly right and she is one of the first in 50 years to move up and not be
a political appointee but to come from within inside inside the agency she's
also the first woman to would be the first woman to leave the CIA which
usually Democrats would be excited about in support but because of her
involvement in some post 9/11 enhanced interrogation the Democrats have decided
to relitigate all the entire mid-2000s again and Rand Paul is also opposing her
already correct he is and he is badly misrepresenting an episode about
destroying tapes involving whitewater explain that this is a goes back to Jose
Rodriguez who is running the ant the post 9/11 enhanced interrogation program
and later when it became really controversial he ordered that the tapes
would be just should be destroyed because he didn't want some of the
agents who were doing this to be exposed right and he asked Gina Haskell his
chief of staff at the time to draft a cable ordering the destruction of the
tapes now Rodriguez did not have the authority had not gotten the authority
from the director to do what he asked Gina to do but all the later
investigations including from Democrats on house Intel well and and also was
there not a Special Counsel investigate exactly from the Justice Department
under Air call right could turn up no misconduct from
Jena hospital or for that matter they never indicted
Jose Rodriguez either no no but he was reprimanded in the agency whereas in
this hospital was completely exonerated and as when these interrogation
techniques were applied they were legal there was a memo series of memos from
the Justice Department saying that they were legal correct that's correct and
the law has since changed and by all accounts Gina is going to say at the
committee that she has no no intention of going back to the same program
without the legal authority well this leads to the question if you are
somebody at the CAA who is test with protecting the United States and
preventing another attack and you get a memo that says you know what this is
legal for the following reasons your job is not to say well wait a minute I don't
I think that ma it's your reading of that are you sure about this in
paragraph six I mean your job is to say okay and go get the bad guys right she
followed the directions of her boss and the left one at her to behave like Sally
Gates at the Justice Department and refused to follow the law dan what do
you make of this cuz we remember when we were writing editorials about this back
more than a decade ago I mean I remember the mood at the time I don't remember a
lot of Democrats waving their hands saying oh my god don't do these things
they said make sure there's not another attack yeah I'm glad you brought that up
Paul 9/11 2001 nearly 17 years ago both towers of the World Trade Center
collapsed loaded plane of passengers flew into the Pentagon passenger plane
blown up over Pennsylvania him I upset that the CIA used enhanced interrogation
techniques against al-qaeda suspects I wasn't then and I'm not to this day and
I think most people aren't but the Democrats are now retrospectively going
to make a big issue of that and I'm not sure it's going to play all that well
for them Paul if Gina Haspel starts describing what the nature an
environment was at that time and one more point if Barack Obama had appointed
her to be CIA director she would be getting almost unanimous support in the
Senate Kim briefly do you think she's going to
get Roo it's going to be close fifty votes a tiebreaker Mike Pence
some of this may depend on whether or not the White House begins to make a
better case for her and response to this criticism and puts pressure on those
Democrats we were mentioning to support this nomination or pay a price all right
thank you all when we come back Israel makes its best case against the Iran
nuclear deal as president Trump weighs a final decision on the Obama era Accord a
hundred thousand files right here prove that they lied
when other snacks just can't satisfy

JUST IN Trump Just Dropped Life Shattering News On John Kerry – Enjoy Prison, Traitor! - Duration: 17:15.
JUST IN Trump Just Dropped Life-Shattering News On John Kerry – Enjoy Prison, Traitor!
Fox News contributor Sara Carter is now reporting that the former Secretary of state John Kerry
is under investigations over his possible roll in the Steele Dossier fiasco.
Although it was previously thought that John Kerry wasn't involved in the dossier mess
Carter has no confirmed that The House Select Committee on intelligence is, in fact, investigating
Kerry's possible roll in the fake dossier which was paid by the Democrat Party and the
Hillary Clinton Campaign.
And interestingly enough this investigation has lead to a long time colleague of Kerry's
Jonathan Winer, who served as the former envoy for Libya during his tenure at the Department
to write an opinion piece in the Washington Post on February 8 where he defends his relationship
with Steele and his role in the infamous dossier.
"The House Select Committee on Intelligence is now investigating former Secretary of State
John F. Kerry's possible role into the unverified dossier paid for by the Democratic National
Committee and Hillary Clinton Campaign, this reporter has learned.
The dossier, assembled by a former British spy, laid the foundation for the FBI's investigation
into alleged collusion between President Trump and Russia and was the essential piece of
evidence used by the FBI to get a warrant to spy on a former volunteer for the Trump
campaign.
For more than a month, the committee has been in its second phase of investigations focused
on former Obama State Department officials and their role in either transmitting information
or using information provided by former British spy and investigator Christopher Steele.
Steele was hired by embattled research firm Fusion GPS, also under several congressional
and Senate investigations.
Jonathan Winer, a long-time colleague of Kerry and who served as the former envoy for Libya
during his tenure at the Department.
Wrote an opinion piece in the Washington Post on Feb. 8, defending his relationship with
Steele and his role in the infamous dossier."
All this comes to light after Congressman Devin Nunes from California revealed to Fox
News host Laura Ingraham that John Kerry was in fact briefed about a "Second Dossier."
The Washington Examiner's own Byron York had previously reported that the Obama State
Department was being investigated to learn if they had a hand in the dossier and made
very clear that Steele was considered a "high-value source" when it came to "all things Russia."
To the point that the Obama administration used his intel on multiple reports to clients
in the department.
A book published in November by a correspondent at the Guardian, "Collusion: Secret meetings,
dirty money, and how Russia helped Donald Trump win."
Noted that Steele's 2010 work on the World Cup soccer corruption investigation won him
the trust not only of the FBI, but the State Department as well.
From author Luke Harding: The [soccer] episode burnished Steele's reputation inside the
U.S. intelligence community and the FBI.
Here was a pro, a well-connected Brit, who understood Russian espionage and its subterranean
tricks.
Steele was regarded as credible.
Between 2014 and 2016, Steele authored more than a hundred reports on Russia and Ukraine.
These were written for a private client but shared widely within the State Department
and sent up to Secretary of State John Kerry and to Assistant Secretary of State Victoria
Nuland.
Who was in charge of the U.S. response to the Ukraine crisis.
Many of Steele's secret sources were the same sources who would supply information
on Trump.
One former State Department envoy during the Obama administration said he read dozens of
Steele's reports on Russia.
The envoy said that on Russia, Steele was "as good as the CIA or anyone."
Steele's professional reputation inside U.S. agencies would prove important the next
time he discovered alarming material, and lit the fuse again.
That fuse, of course, was the Trump dossier.
It is hard for an outsider to discern clearly what is going on inside the dossier investigations
on Capitol Hill.
But it appears some investigators are looking beyond the 35 pages of reports done by Steele
for Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm working for the Clinton campaign and the Democratic
National Committee.
That were published in January 2017 by BuzzFeed.
They're looking into whether Steele did other reports about Trump, perhaps similar
but not identical to what was in the dossier published by BuzzFeed.
And they are looking into whether those reports made their way to the State Department.
They're also seeking to learn what individual State Department officials did in relation
to Steele, and whether there were any contacts between the State Department and the FBI or
Justice Department concerning the anti-Trump material.
It's not clear whether State Department activity related to Steele's Russia project
took place in the months leading up to the 2016 election, during the transition, or both.
I don't think we have ever seen more corruption than we saw during the Barack Hussein Obama
administration.
This should teach us all a lesson that we should not elect a man based on his ability
to read a speech or the color of his skin.
For now, all we can do is sit back and wait while the investigations get to the bottom
of who did what and hope we someday see the perpetrators behind bars.
