mean the U.S. should use nuclear weapons against North Korea.

"I'm not talking about us using nuclear weapons.

I'm saying that they have areas where they're developing missiles," Trump said.

"We virtually tried to bribe them into stopping and they're continuing to do what they're

doing.

And they're laughing at us.

They think we're a bunch of dummies.

I'm saying that we have to do something to stop."

Trump continued, "Do you want to do it in five years when they have warheads all over

the place pointed at Washington D.C., and New York City, is that when you want to do

it?

Melania Trump And Karen Pence On A List Of Women Trump Appointed To High Ranking Positions - Duration: 3:19.

The GOP on Friday posted a set of photos to its official Instagram account celebrating

some of the women President Donald Trump has appointed to "senior-level government and

campaign positions" as part of a tribute to Women's History Month.

"Contrary to mainstream belief, donald trump has appointed more women to senior-level government

and campaign positions than previous administrations," the caption read.

"He's empowering ALL Americans with his winning agenda.

Take a look at some of these leading ladies".

On that list were First Lady Melania Trump and Second Lady Karen Pence, neither of whom

hold appointed positions.

The list also included: Ivanka Trump, the president's eldest daughter and senior adviser;

Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the White House press secretary; Nikki Haley, the US' ambassador

to the United Nations; Betsy DeVos, the Secretary of Education;

The first and second lady's inclusion on the list didn't go unnoticed by some Instagram

users.

Recent data also contradicts the assertion that Trump has appointed more women to high-ranking

positions than his predecessors.

The Center for American Women and Politics found that women hold just 22%, or five out

of 23, of the Cabinet-level positions in the Trump administration.

Meanwhile, 30% of former President Barack Obama's cabinet consisted of women during

his first term, and 35% in his second term.

The last time fewer women filled the highest-ranking positions in an administration was during

former President George W. Bush's first term, when just 19% of his cabinet appointees were

women.

In his second term, that number rose to 24%.

The GOP's official Instagram account included first lady Melania Trump and second lady Karen

Pence in a post Friday celebrating women that President Trump had appointed to political

positions.

While the first and second ladies are not political appointees, the Republican Party

said in an Instagram post marking Women's History Month that Trump is "empowering ALL

Americans with his winning agenda," showing photos of the leading female figures.

"Contrary to mainstream belief, @realdonaldtrump has appointed more women to senior-level government

and campaign positions than previous administrations," the post reads, adding, "Take a look at some

of these leading ladies."

The GOP included photos of several female Trump political appointees, including White

House counselor Kellyanne Conway, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos and U.S. ambassador

to the United Nations Nikki Haley.

A photo of Ivanka Trump, who is serving as an adviser in the White House, was also included.

President Trump released a statement Thursday marking International Women's Day touting

the work he's done for women since taking office.

The White House also announced that the first lady would be presenting an award to women

who have advocated for women's rights around the world.

Outrage After Trey Gowdy Exposes Secret FBI Plan To Overthrow Trump — Dems Are Furious!

Over the past few weeks, it's become blatantly obvious that White House Special Counsel Robert

Mueller's investigation into President Donald Trump's alleged collusion with Russia is

nothing more than a witch hunt.

Now, South Carolina Representative Trey Gowdy has finally had enough.

Western Journalism reported that Gowdy went on Fox News on Monday night with fellow Republican

lawmaker John Ratcliffe to talk about the newly discovered text messages that add to

accusations that the FBI may be harboring anti-Trump bias in their investigation of

Russian collusion.

The text exchanges were between FBI agent Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page, who

was his mistress.

The texts make it clear that Stzok and Page have an intense dislike of Trump, with the

agent even implying that a "secret society" exists among federal agents to prevent Trump

from entering the White House.

"We know about this 'insurance policy' that was referenced in trying to prevent Donald

Trump from becoming president.

We learned today about information that after — in the immediate aftermath of this election

— that there may have been a 'secret society' of folks within the Department of Justice

and the FBI, to include Page and Strzok, that would be working against him," Ratcliffe

said.

"I'm not saying that actually happened, but when folks speak in those terms, they

need to come forward to explain the contexts with which they use those terms."

"It's the day after the election and it's the same two people who were discussing a

little bit later in the texts the damage they had done with the Clinton investigation and

how they could 'fix it' and make it right," Gowdy said.

"That is a level of bias that is stunning among law enforcement officers."

In another damning text message, Strzok suggested that there was some sort of "insurance policy"

in place in the event that Trump were to win the presidency.

"I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy's office …that

there's no way he gets elected — but I'm afraid we can't take that risk.

It's like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you're 40," the married

Strzok wrote to Page.

Last week, the Department of Justice announced that it had somehow lost five months worth

of texts between Strzok and Page.

The DOJ said that all texts between Dec. 14, 2016, to May 17, 2017, were no longer available,

and Republicans immediately called foul.

"It is possible these text messages that are missing, perhaps they really were lost.

Perhaps it is another strange coincidence," Ratcliffe stated.

"It makes it harder and harder for us to explain one strange coincidence after another."

We can only hope that Gowdy, Ratcliffe, and their fellow Republicans are able to get to

the bottom of this and finally put a stop to Mueller's witch hunt against Trump.

U.S. President Donald Trump answered North Korea's offer for talks with a quick "yes",...

Speaking on Saturday, local time, with reporters at a campaign rally for a Republican congressional

candidate in Pennsylvania, President Trump said that his upcoming meeting with North

Korean leader Kim Jong-un could be very fruitful or it could come to nothing.

"Hey, who knows -- if it happens, if it doesn't happen, I may leave fast, or I may sit down

and make the greatest deal for the world and for all of these countries...and including

North Korea, and that is what I hope happens."

He said that the precondition for meeting is that North Korea should not fire any missiles

in the meantime, and implied he thinks the North actually wants to denuclearize and make

peace.

"They are not sending missiles up, and I believe that, I believe that, I really do.

I think they want to do something, I think they want to make peace, I think it is time."

President Trump also said that many countries have showed support for the historic talks

as well.

In two separate tweets, Trump said that Chinese President Xi Jinping appreciated Washington's

diplomatic efforts, and that Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was also very enthusiastic

about talks with Pyongyang.

Though the meeting is likely to be held by the end of May, the venue hasn't been decided

yet.

Foreign media including the Washington Post report that the White House is already preparing

for the groundbreaking talks, suggesting a wide array of possible locations including

the U.S., North Korea, the demilitarized zone, or even a third-party country.

photographs aboard a nuclear submarine is speaking out about the circumstances surrounding

his criminal prosecution, which was initiated under the Obama administration.

Kristian Saucier, the sailor who was jailed for the national security violations, made

pointed accusations against former president Obama for the sentence, while former Secretary

of State Hillary Clinton evaded criminal charges for similar infractions.

Saucier provided an exclusive interview with Fox News.

"The president has pardoned Kristian Saucier, a Navy submariner.

Mr. Saucier was 22 years old at the time of his offenses and has served out his 12-month

sentence.

He has been recognized by his fellow service-members for his dedication, skill and patriotic spirit.

The president is appreciative of Mr. Saucier's service to the country," Sarah Sanders said

at a press conference.

"That was the press secretary yesterday," Fox News reporter Pete Hegseth said.

"Well, former Navy machinist joins us now for an exclusive interview.

Sir, thank you very much for joining.

What it must have felt like today… to wake up as a free man.

You were a felon yesterday.

Today you're free.

How are you feeling?" he asked.

"Pretty good," Saucier said.

"We're very grateful to the president for following through with his promise to

help our family out.

He is an amazing man, and this is just one of the many great things that he's done

in his term.

You know, I got to speak with him briefly yesterday and what an amazing guy.

Just to be able to take time out of his busy schedule to speak with me and to turn my family's

life around and give us our lives back."Then Saucier took the opportunity to slam the Obama

administration for the mishandling of his case and asserts that the only reason they

went after him was to divert the attention away from Hillary Clinton's email scandal.

"This case could have been handled at a much lower level within the military, as it

should have been because I was active duty at the time and I would have taken my punishment

the same way — like a man.

I made a mistake when I was a young kid, it was a misguided attempt to have some mementos,

and it should have never reached the level like it did.

And I believe President Trump saw that and he spoke about my case."

"It was a clear attempt by the Department of Justice… under Obama to use me as a scapegoat

to take the heat off Hillary Clinton for mishandling classified information," Saucier added.

And, let's face it folks, Saucier is 100 percent spot on with his statement concerning

his apparent malicious prosecution.

If the Obama administration was that concerned with the national security violations then

why didn't they go after Hillary?

Well, we all know that answer, and hopefully, now that President Trump is in office he will

make sure that Hillary Clinton is put behind bars and serves her sentence for being the

criminal we all know she is.

Service chief Suh Hoon returned home Sunday afternoon after wrapping up their two-day

visit to Washington... during which they relayed North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's summit invitation

Upon arrival at Incheon International Airport, Chung credited the Korean people's support

for the inter-Korean summit scheduled for late April... and the U.S., North Korea summit

planned soon afterward.

He lauded the leadership of Presidents Moon and Trump... and North Korean leader Kim for

his "courageous decision.

President Moon's National Security Advisor and National Intelligence Director... who

had traveled to North Korea earlier in the week for a historic meeting with North Korea's

Kim Jong-un... were in Washington for the last two days to discuss the outcome of their

Pyongyang trip with U.S. officials.

Chung and Suh are now expected to brief President Moon on the details of their Washington visit

after which the NIS chief will travel to Japan... and the security advisor to China and Russia...

to discuss the latest series of developments with high-level officials there.

Trump declares 'it's time' for North Korea talks, but White House maintains hardline stance - Duration: 2:14.

President Trump declared over the weekend... it's time for talks with North Korea.

While his administration backed those words, they've also been quick to emphasize no concessions

will be made.

Kwon Jang-ho has the details.

U.S. President Trump showed at a rally on Saturday that he was fired up for talks with

North Korea, saying that he trusts Pyongyang to keep its word on halting nuclear missile

testing for now.

"I think they want to do something, I think they want to make peace, I think it is time.

And I think we've shown great strength, I think that's also important, right?"

He also took to Twitter to express these views, saying he believes North Korea will 'honor

their commitment'.

On Sunday, Trump's senior officials were out in full-force on the Sunday news shows to

support the President's stance, while emphasizing that the U.S. will not back down from its

hardline stance before the talks.

"The sanctions are staying on, the defense posture is staying the same as it is.

So, the President is going to sit down and see if he can cut a deal."

"He (Kim) can't conduct nuclear testing, he's got to stop the missile testing that he's

been hard at for the last years.

He's got to continue to allow us to perform our militarily-necessary exercises on the

peninsula, and then he's got to make sure that he leaves on the table that discussion

for denuclearization."

However, some criticism has been voiced from members of Congress, even among Trump's Republican

allies, that the deal for talks had been reached too impulsively, and that a lot of work has

to be done before they meet.

"I don't think anybody really believes that North Korea is prepared to denuclearize.

If somebody is saying -- I've heard it suggested that that's what the North Koreans have already

agreed to, I would question that."

Meanwhile, National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster is slated to brief the United Nations

Security Council on Washington's talks with the South Korean envoys, as well as meet with

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Monday.

Trump's resolve for talks seems firm, but it remains to be seen whether Kim Jong-un

will act as promised, and what sort of progress will be made when the two leaders meet in

May.
