Trump news on Youtube Sep 10 2017

U.S. President Donald Trump and members of his Cabinet gathered at Camp David on Saturday

for an update on Hurricane Irma, which is fast approaching the state of Florida.

The White House released photos showing them being briefed on the track and potential impact

of the hurricane.

President Trump warned people to get out of the storm's path and to heed all instructions,...

adding that safety comes first since property is replaceable.

Irma has forced millions of residents to leave their homes in one of the largest emergency

evacuations in American history.

The storm has left a trail of death and destruction across the Caribbean.

News Wrap: Trump signs $15 billion Hurricane Harvey relief bill - Duration: 4:08.

JOHN YANG: In the day's other news: Late today, President Trump signed the bill to spend more

than $15 billion in Harvey relief.

The House had given its final congressional approval earlier in the day.

The legislation also raises the federal debt ceiling and funds the government through early

December.

It's part of a deal President Trump made with Democrats earlier this week.

And much of Southern Mexico spent a tense day after a powerful earthquake struck in

the middle of the night.

It hit the Pacific coast, killed at least 60 people and turning hundreds of buildings

into rubble.

Nick Schifrin has our report.

NICK SCHIFRIN: In the dead of night, the ground shook so hard, the centuries-old buildings

crumbled.

This was once Juchitan's city hall.

It's now cut in half, and collapsed.

Old structures stood no chance against the strongest earthquake in nearly a century.

Rescuers frantically tried to save victims.

And beneath all that rubble, survivors were trapped alive, at least four under this building

alone.

City councillor Pamela Teran begged for help.

PAMELA TERAN, City Councillor (through translator): Please, the most pressing need we have right

now is to assemble enough people to help us.

We need volunteers to come and help us.

We need more people to come and help.

NICK SCHIFRIN: The nearby hospital also collapsed.

Doctors triaged victims in the streets, and used the lights of cell phones to stitch up

the wounded.

By dawn, heaps of rubble had replaced a once proud neighborhood.

The mayor called this the city's most terrible moment.

The 8.1-magnitude quake struck just before midnight off Mexico's Pacific coast.

Hardest hit were nearby Oaxaca and Chiapas states, but the ground shook as far as the

capital, Mexico City, more than 650 miles away.

There, tremors lasted for nearly a minute.

Panicked residents huddled in open streets.

WOMAN (through translator): It was horrible.

I never felt something so ugly.

It was small at first, but then it started shaking a lot.

Once we went downstairs, it shook even stronger, and it felt like we were being wrung like

clothes in a washing machine.

That was terrible.

NICK SCHIFRIN: In Mexico City, local TV showed firefighters beginning to clear collapsed

buildings.

Already, there have been 20 aftershocks.

And there may be more to come, warned Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto.

ENRIQUE PENA NIETO, Mexican President (through translator): We have asked the population

to be on alert.

It's probable there will be another.

NICK SCHIFRIN: The earthquake preceded a natural disaster Mexico could forecast, and is bracing

for, Hurricane Katia and 110-mile-an-hour winds are expected make landfall early Saturday.

Back in Juchitan, the damage is daunting.

But even as the destruction was still fresh, a resident found a Mexican flag and made sure

it could still fly.

A city whose center has been destroyed is now promising to rebuild.

For the "PBS NewsHour," I'm Nick Schifrin.

JOHN YANG: In Myanmar, there is word that, in the past 24 hours, another 100,000 Rohingya

refugees fled into Bangladesh.

The U.N. reports that makes 270,000 in two weeks.

They're running from army attacks in mostly Buddhist Myanmar.

Today, thousands of Muslim protesters gathered in Jakarta, Indonesia, demanding that Myanmar's

government stop the violence.

Hundreds more in the Philippines demonstrated outside Myanmar's embassy in Manila.

The U.S. Supreme Court will have to decide if grandparents of people already in the United

States are exempt from President Trump's travel ban on visitors from six mostly Muslim nations.

The administration has interpreted an earlier high court ruling to mean that grandparents

and other close relations are not exempt.

But, on Thursday, a federal appeals court in San Francisco disagreed.

And on Wall Street today, the Dow Jones industrial average gained 13 points to close at 21797.

The Nasdaq fell 37 points, and the S&P 500 slipped three.

For the week, the Dow and the S&P lost a fraction of 1 percent, and Nasdaq was down a little

more than 1 percent.

Between the Scenes - Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un: The Daily Show - Duration: 1:39.

- You know when Donald Trump, I sometimes wonder,

when Donald Trump watches Kim Jong Un, and then

he's like "he's crazy, he's unreasonable, he's wild."

sometimes I wish someone would be like, "you see him?

"that's how we see you."

Like it's because Donald Trump doesn't get to see himself,

which I understand is a concept.

I remember Kanye West once said his only regret in life

is that he'll never get to see himself perform, alright?

Which I understand, I understand what Kanye's saying.

You can't experience yourself

because you are being yourself,

and like Donald Trump doesn't get to know

what it's like to be worrying about Donald Trump.

But Kim Jong Un is the best example,

and to see his face whenever Kim Jon Un's,

he goes "I told him not to do it, he still, who is he?"

and you're like, "that's you."

You know how Donald Trump is, I don't know

if you've ever seen a baby see

another baby loosing its shit, have you ever seen that?

I remember when I had my baby brother,

like when he was really young, and I'd go around

and he'd be like throwing tantrums and stuff,

and then another baby would be like (cries),

and then my brother would stop and he would look

like, what's going on there?

And you can see it in his face, he's like what, what?

And then he'd look at me and be like, "the baby,

"why the baby make noise?"

and I'm like, "that's you, asshole, that's you."

(upbeat tune)

Trump Says GOP Has A "Death Wish" Because They Won't End The Filibuster - Duration: 3:41.

in the past week or so Donald Trump has seemed a little bit schizophrenic I

guess you would say about where he actually stands with his policies with

his decisions and even which party he actually supports there's a big uproar

among the Republicans when he decided to actually go with the Democrats and

support an increase in the debt ceiling you know to avoid a government shutdown

but on Friday morning of this past week Donald Trump took to Twitter as he

always does and started bashing Senate Republicans again this time he said that

they clearly have some kind of death wish because they refused to change

Senate rules and get rid of the filibuster because according to Donald

Trump there's eight Democrats in in DC I guess who are controlling the entire

government those eight Democrats who he didn't name unfortunately control

everything because of the filibuster they're able to stop legislation dead in

its tracks because Republicans are too spineless according to Trump to get rid

of that filibuster well let me explain something to you Donald Trump I know you

don't know very much about American politics or really anything in the world

here's how it works if Senate Republicans decide to get rid

of the filibuster that's going to be the end of their rule in the Senate because

what's gonna happen is they're gonna start passing all of this horrible

legislation that you promote and it's gonna cost them their re-election bids

American citizens overwhelmingly have not supported any of the major

initiatives that the Republicans have been pushing since January of this year

they didn't like the health care bill they do not like the tax cut plan they

do not want a wall they want government agencies funded they're not happy about

the budget they want normalcy they want policies that actually help American

citizens but the Republicans aren't pushing that so you take away that

filibuster they pass this horrible legislation they can start looking for

new jobs furthermore the ones that do survive

re-election or who aren't up for re-election yet if the Democrats take

over are about to be in for a whirlwind of progressive policy just zip and

the Senate and Republicans know they can't risk that because if they do

suddenly oh my god millionaires and billionaires gonna have to pay more in

taxes and that's gonna mean less money to go in the coffers of Republican

politicians so before you get on Twitter and start bitching about the way things

are in the Senate and how the rules work and talking about things that you

generally do not understand please know that there are bigger pieces at work

here than just Republicans not wanting to end a filibuster they don't want to

end it because for the most part they're not all completely stupid they know how

dangerous that could be they understand the ramifications that will come to

their party if they do that and at this point they also understand the

ramifications of supporting you which is why you're finding it less and less

likely that you're gonna have any friends in the United States Senate and

believe me if impeachment ever happens you're gonna wish you hadn't sent out

all those angry tweets talking about how spineless and pathetic those Republican

senators really are because they're gonna be the ones that tip the scales

that get you out of office if you're thinking about subscribing to our

Channel I strongly encourage you to do that but if you're not thinking about

The Trump Infrastructure Plan – Sell It All To Corporations And Let Them Profit From It - Duration: 4:04.

One of the more, I guess, ambitious things that Donald Trump talked about relentlessly

on the campaign trail was the need to invest in American infrastructure.

Now, this was one of those talking points that he would throw out there that actually

did get some liberals and some independents saying, "You know what?

That's actually a really good idea."

Because it is a really good idea.

But like most things, a lot of us didn't believe him for one second when he was actually going

to do this.

After all, the infrastructure has been crumbling since George W. Bush took office.

He did nothing, Obama did very little if anything at all, so why should we expect anything different

from Donald Trump?

Well, apparently, Donald Trump does have a close to one trillion dollar infrastructure

plan that he actually wants to put in action.

The unfortunate part of it is that it's going to make things so much worse here in the United

States.

Because Donald Trump's plan is not necessarily to spend on trillion dollars, sending construction

workers out there to fix our roads, and bridges, and buildings.

It's a one trillion dollar plan that basically involves selling off a lot of our public infrastructure

over to private corporations who can then repair it and then charge us for using the

things that we've been using our entire lives completely for free.

The things we paid for with our tax dollars.

That is Donald Trump's infrastructure plan.

He wants to privatize the whole damn thing, sell it to corporations, and then let them

charge us for using it.

Again, we've paid for it.

That's where our taxes go.

Those are our roads and our bridges.

We've been paying money for years to the government to fix them, not to sell them off to corporations.

This was actually what Mike Pence did as governor of Indiana.

They had a huge infrastructure problem, but rather than investing state money or asking

the federal government to come in, he decided to sell it off.

One of the biggest things, I believe, was interstate 69 running through Indiana.

He sold it off.

And the company that bought it, that took it over, did a horrible job rebuilding it.

And of course, people were then charged to use it.

Imagine having to go to work every single day using roads that you usually do, and then

suddenly you realize you've got to stop for a toll.

And then a couple feet further, there's another stole because there was another intersection

and more people got on it.

That's what we're looking at here.

Privatization here in the United States has never worked.

When the federal government tries to privatize something or use a private company, these

government contracts to come in and do something instead, it hasn't worked out.

It hasn't worked out since the Civil War.

That's why we have key Qui tam laws in the United States because military ... The US

government, excuse me, has been getting ripped off by contractors since at least the Civil

War.

It's a system that never ends.

Any time a corporation sees that they can get their hands on a lucrative government

contract worth billions of dollars, they're going to jump at that opportunity, provide

the bare minimum in services, and pocket all of the rest of it.

And that is what Donald Trump wants to do with our infrastructure, an infrastructure

that is becoming dangerously inadequate, inept, and decrepit.

It needs to be fixed.

It doesn't need to be privatized.

Unfortunately, the only thing Republicans in this country know how to do is to sell

their problems to somebody else and let those other people make a killing off of it.

And then the Republican doesn't have to worry about it anymore.

Trump's EPA Attacks Reporter For Covering Environmental Damage Of Hurricane Harvey - Duration: 4:24.

One of the more disturbing side effects of the massive flooding that was brought to the

state of Texas from Hurricane Harvey is the fact that Texas is obviously home to a lot

of oil companies, a lot of oil activities, a lot of chemical companies, and a lot of

Superfund sites, which are highly toxic areas where toxic waste resides, where human beings

cannot function inside of that little Superfund site.

With this massive floodwater has come an insane amount of toxins being released both into

the atmosphere and into those floodwaters, that then travels all over the flooded areas,

specifically with these Superfund sites.

A few days ago the Associated Press ran a story talking about the fact that the EPA

had not yet gone to inspect these Superfund sites on the ground.

Meanwhile, the reporters of the story actually did.

They saw this toxic sludge seeping out into the floodwaters, going God-knows-where, because

nobody within the Trump administration or the Trump EPA cares enough to actually go

in there and do something.

What was the EPA's response to all of this?

Instead of saying, "Hey, we understand.

We're working on it.

We're devising a plan," they decided to issue a press release where they attacked the reporter

by name for the Associated Press, saying, "How dare you say that we're not doing anything

or we're not taking this seriously?

We've been doing good things with the Hurricane Harvey response, and we flew over a couple

of those Superfund sites and we saw flooding in only 13 out of, like, 30."

That wasn't the point of the article, EPA.

First of all, the EPA has not even said who wrote this particular response.

They refused to tell us who wrote it, or who authorized it, or who signed off on it.

Furthermore, the reporter specifically said, "You haven't gone to these sites to see the

damage," and the EPA says first of all, "Reporter, you're a jerk," and second of all, "No, it's

okay, 'cause we were in an airplane thousands of feet above it, and we looked out the window

and saw what was happening."

Well, that's not good enough.

It wasn't good enough for George W. Bush when he flew over the damage of Hurricane Katrina

and we got that very sad picture of him looking out a window.

You have to go there.

You have to find out what's happening.

You have to put boots on the ground to go fix this issue.

This is highly toxic, carcinogenic waste that is seeping out into those floodwaters.

More importantly, as the AP pointed out, the people rescuing other people in those floodwaters

need to know if they're wading waist-deep through toxic waste, because that is what

is happening right now, folks.

We have seen numerous explosions from chemical plants and oil refineries in the wake of Hurricane

Harvey which are releasing countless carcinogens and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere,

not to mention releasing them into the floodwaters and into the environment.

These Superfund sites are doing the same thing, except on steroids, because there's no big

explosion to bring people's attention to it.

It's just toxic sludge that slowly melts and dissipates into that floodwater, going anywhere.

This is something that needs to be addressed.

We've got to clean up these Superfund sites, not just in Texas, but all over the country.

We have to start paying attention, and more importantly, everyone, we actually have to

start caring about it.

Most people in this country don't even know what a Superfund site is.

They don't know what it means, but it sounds superfun.

It's a toxic waste site that has the potential to poison countless American citizens.

We have to get this fixed.

We have to start taking care of the environment, because if we let the environment die, human

beings aren't going to be too far after that.

Trump's Lawyer Says He And Kelly Are The Only "Adults In The Room" In Trump Admin - Duration: 3:59.

Earlier this week, White House Special Counsel Ty Cobb, who has been one of Donald Trump's

personal lawyers in the past, got into an email exchange with a business owner where

he told that business owner, in a manner of speaking, because the two went back and forth

relentlessly, with Cobb losing his temper more than once.

But he did explain to this business owner that look, it would be great if there were

other adults in the room in the Trump Administration, in addition to me and Kelly.

What Donald Trump's lawyer, Ty Cobb, is saying here is that he himself, Ty Cobb, and Chief

of Staff Kelly are the only two adults in the Trump Administration.

Now, I'm sure Trump's lawyer did not mean to say that during this very heated email

exchange, but he did it to defend why he took the job within the Trump Administration to

begin with.

Because they needed more grown-ups there.

They needed people to steer them in a better direction, a more mature direction, and that

is exactly what Ty Cobb and General Kelly claim they've been trying to do.

And we've actually seen that Kelly is trying to do that with Donald Trump.

But all of that underscores the larger point.

Trump's own lawyer believes that he and General Kelly are the only two grown-ups within that

Trump Administration an Administration that does include Donald Trump himself.

And that's the part that Americans need to be paying attention to.

When you have these people who work so closely with the President, saying that when they're

in a room with him, they're still the only adults, that Donald Trump is essentially acting

like a child, that his staffers have come forward and said we have to handle him with

kid gloves.

That's a problem.

That's not the kind of behavior that we should expect or even tolerate from a sitting President

of the United States, and yet many people in this country think it's perfectly fine

that Donald Trump acts that way.

That he has to be treated in that manner.

Well, it's not.

That's the guy who has access to our nuclear codes and, at a whim, could launch a nuclear

attack against anyone in the world, because there's no checks and balances for something

like that.

We need grown-ups and honestly, judging from the email exchange, which you can read in

the link to below this video, Cobb is not one of those grown-ups.

He is a guy who is just like Donald Trump.

He loses his temper, he lashes out at any kind of criticism, doesn't offer any firm

examples or facts or figures or statistics.

He argues purely with emotion and doesn't take anyone else's feelings or situations

into account, much like Donald Trump.

There are no grown-ups in this Administration.

Maybe General Kelly sometimes, but Trump himself doesn't even like to listen to Kelly.

As soon as Kelly leaves the room, he likes to call Steve Bannon on his personal cell

phone without General Kelly knowing about it.

Donald Trump is a guy who could not be trusted.

He couldn't be trusted as a business leader.

You probably wouldn't trust him, leave him alone in your house.

And he sure as hell can't be trusted as President of the United States.

And that is the big take-away from this email exchange with Trump's lawyer.

That is what he was hinting at when he said that he and Kelly were the only adults in

the room and that is what we're dealing with today.

A President man-child that no one in this country, no one in the world should give their

full trust to, because he has proven time and time again, he's really not a trustworthy

kind of guy.

Trump's Anger Rules The Day – Reports Say He's Lashing Out Angrily At Top Aides - Duration: 3:13.

In the last week, basically as August came to a close, there have been several different

news reports from various different news outlets talking about Donald Trump's growing anger

problem within the West Wing.

According to all of these different reports, and different people interviewed who with

the Trump Administration, including Gary Cohn, Donald Trump is getting so angry about the

horrible month of August that he had, and he is taking out that anger on top aides,

officials and White House staff.

He is walking around screaming at people, yelling at them, berating them, because he

himself screwed up so badly for the entire month of August.

Some of the things that he's pissed off about include Charlottesville and the fact that

many people within his own Administration are still angry at the President for his lackadaisical

neo-Nazi sympathizing response to the crisis.

He's also mad about his response to Hurricane Harvey.

He's mad that people didn't line up and support him for doing so much to help these people.

Keep in mind, Donald Trump turned the entire Harvey response into a commercial, basically,

for the hats that he's selling on his website.

He didn't go to the disaster zones.

The White House even had to come out and admit that after he traveled to Texas.

He never saw an inch of floodwater.

He didn't even get rained on, and he didn't see any damage.

He didn't meet with any victims.

I can understand why he'd be a little mad that the press isn't fawning over his handling

of this, when he refused to even acknowledge that it happened.

He's still made about his Phoenix rally having such poor attendance.

The capacity for the auditorium that he was in was 4,200, and he had about 4,100 people

show up, and a lot of them left halfway through or at least well before the thing ended.

He got so mad, he even fired the event coordinator who put it on.

Trump's anger is a massive issue.

You should not have someone who can't control their emotions in charge of our nuclear codes,

in charge of our foreign policy, in charge of our domestic policy.

Hell, I wouldn't even let somebody with those characteristics be in charge of my dogs for

a day.

Yet, here we have this man, walking around screaming at people who had nothing to do

with his failures, in charge of this country.

We need to look at ourselves at this point and realize what we did wrong, what led us

to Donald Trump.

Not just in the 2016 election, but in all of the years before that.

We need to really find out how we got here so that we can prevent something like this,

prevent a person like Donald Trump, from ever again holding the office

of the Presidency.

White House Admits Trump Will Use Immigrant Children As Bargaining Chips For Border Wall Funding - Duration: 4:44.

On Tuesday of this week, Donald Trump forced Jeff Sessions, the Attorney General of the

United States, to come out and talk to the American public and let them know that they're

potentially going to end the DACA Program, the Dreamers Program, which would lead the

deportation of more than 800,000 immigrant children that have been living in the United

States since at least the year 2007.

"They have six months," is what a very giddy Jess Sessions explained to us at the podium

on Tuesday, "They have six months and then we're gonna revisit the program."

But later on in the day, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders came out

and made things a little bit more clear for the American public because when she was pressed

by CNN's Jim Acosta about what that means, that six months, they're gonna revisit it,

Sarah Huckabee Sanders explained it this way.

She said, "Look, there's lots of big things we need to do with immigration, not just a

tweak here or there but big reforms.

Obviously, Donald Trump's border wall is a big part of that and so the President is kinda

hoping to use DACA to work with Republicans and Democrats who wanna save the program to

get funding for his border wall."

So in a not-so-roundabout way, Sarah Huckabee Sanders admitted that Donald Trump is using

these 800,000 immigrant children as bargaining chips against Republicans and Democrats in

order to get funding he needs for his border wall.

Now, we understand that in American politics, things get dirty and there's always this kind

of quid pro quo, tit-for-that type thing.

We've seen funding withheld from one project because one group wants to get funding for

theirs and they won't vote for it unless flops and whatever.

This one's a little different though because we're talking about the immediate deportation

of people here in the United States, people who came over with their parents, they had

no choice in the matter.

Now after living in the United States for at least 10 years, contributing, going to

college, paying their taxes, joining the US Military, we're gonna ship them back because

Donald Trump is pissy about the funding for his border wall.

Maybe we won't ship them all back at once, maybe we'll ship over 10,000.

Maybe he'll do that to throw a little urgency into these border wall funding negotiations

with Republicans and Democrats.

Watch them get anxious as he just deports groups here and groups there to show that

he's not playing around.

He is holding these children and these young adults hostage so that he can get the funding

that he wants for that border wall, a wall which, again, won't do a single thing to stop

illegal immigration into the United States.

I don't know if Donald Trump realizes this, but we do have walls up over a lot of the

border and it doesn't even slow people down if they're really determined to get into the

United States.

It just doesn't.

Most of these people who are over here under the DACA, DACA, have not committed any crimes.

They have not been implicated in any crimes.

They've done nothing other than come over here with their parents, without a choice,

and then contribute to US society, to our economy, to our taxes, to our schools.

Donald Trump wants to send them away for no other reason than to pander to his alt-right

base and get the funding that he wants for his border wall.

The Democrats and Republicans, all of whom did not wanna see this program end, are now

stuck between a rock and a hard place because we know the Republicans are gonna cower to

Trump.

They're gonna give him the money that he wants if they can but the Democrats, they don't

wanna see these people deported but at the same time, they don't wanna fund the border

wall.

So it puts them in a horrible position to have to negotiate with the President, who's

acting more like a terrorist at this point, because he wants that border wall so bad that

he's willing to destroy the lives of 800,000 people, who have been in this country for

more than a decade, just to get his way.

Between the Scenes - Trump Experiences Hurricane Harvey "First Hand": The Daily Show - Duration: 2:20.

- I know that Donald Trump is not particularly adept

at using the English language.

I understand that, and I do not require this of him

in any way, shape, or form, okay?

(audience laughing)

I come from a country where many people don't speak English,

so I don't care about that, alright?

The thing that throws me is that Trump says,

"I experienced it firsthand.

"I experienced this firsthand."

And then, his spokesperson comes out,

Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and they say,

"Did he experience it firsthand?"

And she's like, "He met with officials,

"and they spoke about this,

"and they told him what happened,

"and that's a firsthand account."

(audience laughing)

That's like, guys, like,

we can't redefine what experience firsthand,

just say, "Oh no, he didn't mean that,"

and then we move on in life.

But now you're trying to make it seem like we're stupid

for knowing what words mean.

(audience laughing)

Do you know what I'm saying?

Like, we know what the words,

this makes me understand.

I never used to understand the story of Barcelona, alright?

Like, I went to Barcelona,

and I'm sure many of you know this.

If you don't, in Barcelona, the people there say,

"Barthelona," right?

And all the S's in the language are th-th, right?

And I thought it was just the way they speak

because of, like, a random historical thing,

but it turns out it's weirder

than just the history of the language.

There was a king of Spain or Barcelona, I think it was,

there was a king who had a lisp,

and so he couldn't say, "Barcelona."

He would say, "Barthelona."

And instead of people just saying,

"Oh, that dude's got a lisp," they were like,

"No, no, we all say, 'Barthelona.'

(audience laughing)

"This is how everybody says it."

(audience laughing)

So it's like, "Wait, so we're not just gonna say,

"'That guy has a lisp.'"

That's like, "No, no, no, no, no.

"No, no, no."

Then it's like, "It's not Barthelona, it's Barcelona."

It's like, "No, no, this is alternative pronunciation, yes?"

(audience laughing)

"Barthelona, Barthelona, si."

Like, that's what I feel like Trump is doing to everyone.

Anti-Trump Republicans Believe The Same Things As Trump – Don't Be Fooled - Duration: 4:20.

There was a very interesting article recently on Huffington Post that said, "We shouldn't

be praising these Republicans who are coming out against Donald Trump, or positioning themselves

as the anti-Trump during campaign or whatever it is they're actually trying to do."

And I agree with that, absolutely 100%, but that particular article did not go far enough

to explain why we shouldn't treat these saints or excuse me, these sinners as if they're

saints.

Here is why.

There may be a few exceptions to this, but for the most part, there are no Republicans

in Washington DC or no Republicans serving in state legislators or as state governors,

who do not believe 99% of the same things that Donald Trump believes.

I don't care what the media tells you.

I don't care that the media's lyinizing these people.

Republicans believe in the same things as Donald Trump.

Tax cuts for the wealthy, cutting entitlement programs, like Social Security, cutting programs

to help pay teachers and fire departments, and police officers, after school programs.

Cutting back on Medicaid, Medicare, Food Stamps, unemployment insurance.

Giving tax cut to the wealthy, denying that climate change exists, or admitting it exists

but then choosing to do nothing.

Those are hallmarks of the Republican Party.

Donald Trump did not invent those.

He didn't come up with any of those ideas.

He doesn't even have any idea on how to make them even more harmful for the American public.

Those are Republican Party, Republican official ideas.

That's where they came from.

So when you see a story about John McCain, what a hero coming out not voting to strip

22 million of their health insurance, right?

No, because McCain has been right there with the entire Republican Party, pushing for tax

cuts on the wealthy, which would constantly push us into a recession, fighting to take

away the benefits of struggling families.

Fighting to send us into more wars, so more of our children, our grandchildren, or our

parents can go and die overseas in a needless war.

John McCain is not a hero in politics, and it's time stop treating him as such.

The same with John Kasich, the man who disenfranchised thousands of Ohio voters in presidential elections,

to help swing the elections.

Yeah, that guy who went after those racist policies to keep black people away from the

voting booth.

That's a not a Republican hero because he stands up to Donald Trump.

These people are standing up to Trump, because they see the damage he does to their party,

not because they disagree with his policies but because they don't want him to tank their

party for good, or they see this as an opportunity for them to emerge as a leader and take over.

They are not heroes.

They do not stand against anything Donald Trump stands for.

They want the same things.

Donald Trump wasn't even the first Republican to bring up a border wall in the 2016 election.

That's been a Republican talking point for decades, folks.

So don't think that Donald Trump is sitting in that oval office coming up with these ideas

on his own.

He's not smart enough to do that.

These are long standing Republican goals that have been around a lot longer than you or

I have, and they're gonna be around a lot longer than any of you or I will be.

These Republicans out there who are fighting against Donald Trump, allegedly, they believe

in the same things, except they're just wrapped up in a not so overtly racist package.

That's the only difference between people like John Kasich and people like Donald Trump.

They are not heroes.

Let's stop treating them as such.

Trump Has No One Left – Rabbis, CEOs, Scientists, And Independents Abandon The President - Duration: 4:58.

I want to start by asking a rhetorical question here.

Does Donald Trump have any friends left?

Of course, the answer is, he's got a few, but certainly not as many as he once had,

and to be honest, not even as many as he had two weeks ago.

This past week, a group of rabbis in the United States, who hold an annual call with the president,

regardless of who that president is, decided that this year they were going to cancel the

call.

They did that because of Donald Trump's disgusting response to the violence that took place two

weeks ago in Charlottesville.

Furthermore, members of Donald Trump's infrastructure council resigned earlier this week, again

in response to his response to the attacks in Charlottesville, as well as I think a little

bit had to do with the things that he said during his rally in Phoenix.

Scientists this week abandoned the White House again.

They resigned their posts because they couldn't take the administration's constant assault

on climate change, something we've seen a lot of from the scientific community since

Donald Trump took office.

We have Catholic nuns out there calling out republicans.

Independents are starting to abandon Trump, and that is the group that he needed in order

to win, because luckily there aren't enough white supremacists in this country to solely

pick the president.

Without those independents, there's no possible way Donald Trump could win reelection.

Polls show that a majority of Americans are ready to begin impeachment proceedings.

Republicans in congress aren't willing to say that Donald Trump will be their nominee

in 2020.

John Kasich polls better than Donald Trump in head-to-head polls of republican primary

for 2020.

Bernie Sanders beats Donald Trump in a head-to-head match for president in 2020.

Do you see where I'm going with this.

There is no one left to defend Donald Trump, unless of course you count the folks at Fox

News, but that's not enough to sway voters anymore, because earlier this week, MSNBC

became the most watched cable network in the United States for the first time ever.

There's nobody left.

The White House has stopped sending out their goon squad to TV shows, because even they

can't come up with a cogent response on how to deal with the president's actions.

People are resigning from this administration left and right.

Donald Trump is alienating everyone.

A lot of it recently has to do with his response to Charlottesville, but this was happening

even before that, and it's only gotten worse since then.

Donald Trump's list of allies is dwindling, and pretty soon it's going to be down to zero.

We might even see a day when Kellyanne Conway herself has to say, "You know what?

Enough's enough.

I can't physically do this anymore."

It's only a matter of time.

The reason this is important is because when we have such an incompetent, insecure, narcissistic

president at the helm, the 25th amendment starts looking look a real possibility, if

congress decides to invoke that, if Mike Pence decides to invoke that.

And if Donald Trump continues to alienate all of his allies in this country, especially

those in congress, it's going to be very easy to remove him from office.

Trust me, I want that more than anyone, but I'm just talking about from Donald Trump's

own perspective, not a real smart move.

You're proving that you're really not a smart guy.

You should start embracing your friendships.

Maybe tone down the rhetoric a little bit.

Maybe stay off Twitter for a couple days, because the more the public sees you, the

more they get to know you, the more they read your tweets, the less they like you.

CEOs have abandoned you.

Rabbis have abandoned you.

Catholics are abandoning you.

Millionaires and billionaire donors of the republican party has abandoned you.

Independents have abandoned you, and about 20 to 30% of the republican party has abandoned

you.

Maybe it's time you stop calling that fake news, and understand that you are actually

the problem.

Trump Lied About Obama Wiretapping Him, DOJ Investigation Concludes - Duration: 5:00.

Back in March, Donald Trump tweeted out on a Saturday morning, "Just found out Obama

had my wires tapped at Trump Tower just before the victory.

Nothing found.

This is McCarthyism."

That was Donald Trump's exact tweet from March.

He accused President Obama of basically committing a felony by having Donald Trump wiretapped

within Trump Tower in an effort to find who knows what.

Now, immediately people began asking President Trump for some kind of evidence as to whether

or not this wiretap existed.

But he never offered a single shred of evidence beyond his original statement and his repeated

claims of this.

So, the Department of Justice took it upon themselves to go ahead and investigate and

find out exactly where Obama wiretapped and why he wiretapped and who authorized this

wiretap.

But as it turns out, after nearly four, five months of investigation: there was no wiretap

placed by the Obama administration into Trump Tower or on any phone line used by Donald

Trump.

Donald Trump flat out lied to the American public via Twitter that President Obama wiretapped

him.

And apparently, we had to have a Department of Justice investigation to determine that

Donald Trump lied.

Not only is this a disgusting mis-use of tax dollars to go ahead and try to investigate

another one of Donald Trump's vanity projects, like we had to investigate whether or not

pictures of his inaugural crowd were Photoshopped, but it shows just how far President Trump

will go in order to smear President Obama.

Now, most of the lies that Donald Trump has told have either been related to some kind

of policy or they've been lies of vanity, again, like the "my inaugural crowd was bigger

than Obama's," "I've done more than other presidents have in this short amount of time,"

and so on.

But they've been lies that served a specific purpose.

This lie, saying that Obama wiretapped me, doesn't necessarily serve a particular purpose.

It doesn't advance any policy, and it doesn't make Donald Trump look better.

Now, maybe, maybe Trump thought that if I say this, people will have some sympathy for

me, or they will think I'm important enough that Obama wanted to place a wiretap on me,

but that's a bit of a stretch.

This lie served no purpose for Donald Trump, so the big question is, why tell it?

Why did he wake up one Saturday morning and decide to just tweet that out?

What sparked it?

What made him make this decision?

Those are things that we the American public actually need to know, because it will give

us a better glimpse into the very fragile, deteriorating brain of Donald Trump.

This is not normal behavior.

Normal people don't just make up these wild claims and tweet them out to the public, and

we shouldn't hold our president to a lower standard than that.

We need to know why he told this lie, who inspired it, if anyone, and what we're gonna

do as a result of it.

We can't continue to just let these things go.

Yeah, we've got fact-checkers out there, but they're not necessarily holding anybody accountable.

It's not like they can take this to the Senate or the House of Representatives and say, "Okay,

you're gonna have to impeach him, because he just told a lie here."

That's not how it works; technically, there's nothing illegal about what Trump has done,

as far as his lies.

But we have to demand more.

The public has to demand more and those idiots who still say they support Trump, they have

to wake up and understand that this man is an absolute, pathological liar and he doesn't

give a damn about anyone, anyone but himself.

And his constant non-stop lies to make himself look better, are proof of that.

But again, this particular lie doesn't fit into that usual scheme and that's why this

one stands out so much.

We need more answers on this and hopefully, somebody, maybe a psychiatrist, maybe at Mike

Pence or John Kelly's urging, Trump will go talk to a mental health professional and find

out why he is incapable of telling the American public the truth.

Trump Won't Stop Attacking Republicans, And They Might Be Ready To Turn On Him - Duration: 4:30.

What do Senators Murkowski, McCain, McConnell, Flake, Graham, Heller and House Speaker Paul

Ryan all have in common other than the fact that they have horrible policies because they're

all Republicans?

If you answered that those are just a few of the Republicans holding public office that

Donald Trump has attacked on Twitter in the last few weeks, you are correct.

The list of Republican, sitting Republican Representatives and Senators that Donald Trump

has publicly gone after, both on Twitter and during speeches and rallies is growing by

the day.

No one at this point is safe.

He is blaming these Republicans for things that didn't happen, although he thinks they

did.

He's preemptively blaming them for things that have yet to happen and may not even happen.

But the more important thing is that he is doing it publicly.

He's doing it without shame and he's doing it to be a bully to get them on his side.

One of the more interesting stories that emerged this past week was that Donald Trump has been

calling many Republicans in the Senate, not just Mitch McConnell, but he was one of them,

and that happens to be the most public feud going on right now.

But he has called several Senate Republicans to yell at them for not stopping this Russia

investigation and for not going out there and publicly defending and privately defending

Donald Trump, the President of the United States.

Then he proceeds to go on Twitter and talk bad about these people, talk about how horrible

they are, how weak they are, how spineless they are, how awful they are.

Then he expects them to be loyal to him?

I've said this many times in the past and I'm going to have to apparently keep saying

it til the day he leaves office, but Donald Trump is not a smart human being.

Anyone who thinks he is, is also not a smart human being.

Donald Trump is in a position right now where there is an ongoing investigation that threatens

to take down his entire presidency.

On top of that, we're hearing an awful lot of rumblings about invoking the 25th amendment

to remove him from office, which doesn't require any kind of trial or prosecution.

You just get enough members of the House and Senate and the Vice-President to go along

with it, and boom, the President's gone.

That's something that's a very real possibility and don't think that Mike Pence isn't chomping

at the bit to get that done.

When your only hope for staying in office until 2020 are these Republicans in the Senate

and to a lesser extent the House, does it make a lot of sense to go out there and attack

them publicly?

Does it make a lot of sense to cuss them out on the phone like you did with Mitch McConnell?

I don't think there's anybody in this country that would think, yeah, you know what?

That is a winning political strategy.

Good job, sir.

I think most people are starting to look at this as what the hell is wrong with you?

Even if your personal insults and attacks weren't enough, think about the damage you're

causing to the Republican Party.

Do you think those wealthy Republican donors are just going to sit there and let you attack

their investments?

Because that's what these people are.

They're assets of major corporations and major Republican donors like the Koch brothers or

Sheldon Adelson.

They're not human beings to these wealthy donors.

They are their assets.

When you start going out there and attacking them, there's going to start to be some rumblings

of impeachment among that wealthy donor class.

The donor class that overwhelmingly supported Mike Pence over you.

Don't think that there is not talk behind the scenes with these people and possibly

even with Mike Pence because they have been meeting with him privately, of getting you

out of office.

If I were you, Mr. Trump, I wouldn't be attacking people on Twitter.

I'd be sending them flowers, telling them how nice they are and how great they are and

what a great job they're doing.

Because at the end of the day, those very people that you're attacking and alienating

and demonizing in front of the American public, those are the only people that can save your

job.

Pathetic Trump Whines - I Just Want To "Make America Great Again" - Duration: 3:26.

On Wednesday of this past week, Donald Trump sent out a week that was slightly characteristic

of him, but also slightly off in some way.

Here's what the tweet said.

"After reading the false reporting and even ferocious anger in some dying magazines, it

makes me wonder why.

All I want to do is #makeamericagreatagain."

That's right, folks.

Donald Trump is sad.

He's very upset about the fact that these allegedly dying magazines that these failing

newspapers, that are seeing higher subscriptions than ever for some reason, that they're just

so darn mean to him.

He just is trying to make America great again, folks.

What is it that you don't understand about that?

Well let me put it into put it into perspective for you, Mr. President.

Cuddling up to neo-Nazis and defending their behavior when they kill another human being

and senselessly beat other people just because they happen to be African American, defending

that, not making America great again.

Showing up in a disaster zone and not meeting with any of the victims and not surveying

any of the actual damage, not exactly making America great again.

Trying to strip 22 million people of their health insurance just so you can give a tax

cut to the wealth elite, including yourself, not making America great again.

Do you see where I'm going with this?

It's not the fault of the press, and I am tired of hearing people say that, because

it's not just the Trump administration.

There are plenty of people, definitely on the right, but even some on the left who think

the press is too obsessed with this.

The press for the first time in a long time is actually doing their job.

They're uncovering thing.

They're reporting on things that the president is doing and how it will affect the American

public.

For the first time in my adult life, I'm not completely angry with everything the press

is doing.

Are they still bad for the most part?

Yes.

But they're getting it right more often than not at this point.

Yeah, they're still going to keep pushing for endless wars based on lies.

They always do that.

It drives up profits.

That's disgusting, but that's what they do.

That's why I will never give them my full approval.

But at this point, the Trump family, republicans, and of course some liberals have to understand

that there's not a press obsession with Donald Trump.

It's an obsession with telling all of the crazy things that this madman who happens

to be our president is doing every day.

It's an obsession with telling the American public about the policies that the republicans

are pushing that are going to destroy their lives.

If that is an obsession to some of these people, then I'm okay with it.

Because again, I think that for the first time in a very long time, the press is doing

a much better job at covering the facts and telling people the important things that they

need to know so they can make informed choices the next time they have to head to those voting

booths.

Trump Still Pushing For Tax Reform Package That Will Net Him Millions - Duration: 3:25.

In the midst of everything happening right now in this country with Hurricane Harvey,

with the rise in hate, the antifa, the KKK, the neo-nazis, the protests, all of that,

it's important to not forget the fact that we actually still have policy being determined,

being debated, and being written in Washington DC.

I know Congress is still in the recess at this very minute.

They're going to be back next week, and they're going to go right back to trying to cut taxes

for the wealthy elite.

Donald Trump, since he got back from his vacation, has been working on this tax reform package

that is, essentially, a giveaway to himself, because as we've seen from the estimates,

from the CBO, this tax package put together by Trump and congressional Republicans is

just another big giveaway to the top 1%.

Average working families in this country, under the Republican tax plan, will get a

yearly tax cut of $42.

However, if you make more than $3 million a year, your tax cut will be several hundred

thousand dollars per year.

If you make more than that, then you're getting into the million tax cut a year range.

That is what Donald Trump will get.

That is what the wealthy Republican donors will get, and that is why the Republicans

have spent so many months working on this tax package.

It's one of the only things Paul Ryan is able to talk about on Twitter.

They're doing it because this is their last best hope.

They failed to repeal the Affordable Care Act, because they turned that into a massive

tax cut for the rich.

Now, they're just going straight to the source.

If they fail on this, that could be the end of the Republican rule in Washington DC, because

those wealthy donors, they want one thing, lower taxes, because they want more money

in their pockets.

It's not because they think its burdensome.

It's not because they can't afford it.

It's because of pure greed.

Nobody exemplifies that better than President Trump.

That's why he's pushing for this package, because it's going to give him a ton of money

back in his pocket, and the rest of us get about $40 bucks year.

That's not worth it.

Whenever Republicans come forth with a tax plan like this to cut taxes on the wealthy,

it leads us into a recession.

It does not create jobs.

Every study that's looked at these tax reform packages tells us that it does not create

any new jobs in this country.

This is an issue that is purely about greed.

It's time for people to do just like they did with the healthcare issue, call you senator,

call your Congress person, let them know that you will not stand for another Republican

tax package that's just a giveaway to the wealthy elite.

If they don't hear that backlash, if they don't see people getting angry, then they're

going to push forward with it, and claim a massive victory in 2017.
