Trump defends Arpaio pardon by trashing Clinton, Obama clemencies.

WASHINGTON — President Trump on Monday defiantly defended his pardon of former Arizona Sheriff

Joe Arpaio by attacking controversial acts of clemency by Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.

"I stand by my pardon of 'Sheriff Joe,'" Trump declared at a joint press conference

with Finnish President Sauli Niinistö at the White House.

The president said he had done some research into past controversies over presidential

clemencies "because I assumed that somebody would ask me the question."

Pulling a white piece of paper from his suit pocket, Trump said he "wanted to look at

some of the other people that were pardoned over the years," then read a list of controversies

over clemency.

He cited Marc Rich, one of the 140 pardons Bill Clinton issued on his way out the door

in January 2001.

The fugitive financier decamped to Switzerland after being charged with evading $48 million

in taxes and trading oil with Iran in violation of U.S. sanctions.

Trump said Rich "was charged with crimes going back decades including buying oil from

Iran while it held 53 American hostages" and "he was pardoned after his wife donated

hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Clintons."

Rich's former wife, Denise Rich, was a top contributor to the Democratic Party, and also

gave money to Hillary Clinton's Senate race in New York.

Trump accused Clinton of pardoning "dangerous criminals," citing Susan Rosenberg, a member

of the Weather Underground terrorist group.

She was tied to a 1981 armored car robbery that claimed the lives of two police officers

and a guard.

The president also pointed to Clinton's decision to commute the sentence of convicted

drug trafficker Carlos Vignali.

Trump hit Obama for commuting the sentence of "criminal leaker" Chelsea Manning,

calling that a "horrible, horrible thing that he did," as well as the sentence of

Oscar López Rivera, a member of the radical Fuerzas Armadas de Liberación Nacional (FALN)

Puerto Rico independence group behind a deadly bombing campaign in the 1970s and 1980s.

"Sheriff Joe is a patriot, Sheriff Joe loves our country, Sheriff Joe protected our borders,

and sheriff Joe was very unfairly treated by the Obama administration," Trump said.

He did not say Arpaio was innocent of the charges against him.

The president's decision to pardon Arpaio, announced Friday night as Hurricane Harvey

began its devastating march into Texas, drew angry responses from elected officials, civil

rights advocates and Latino-Americans.

Arpaio, an early and fervent supporter of Trump's presidential campaign, had been

convicted of criminal contempt last month for failing to obey a federal judge's order

to stop targeting Latinos on the basis of their suspected immigration status.

It was just the latest tangle with the law for the self-styled "America's toughest

sheriff," whose tactics met time and time again with court rebukes and cost taxpayers

millions in settlement fees.

The news followed the late-Friday disclosure of Trump's plans to bar transgender individuals

from serving in the military — an information pileup that stoked suspicions of a "Friday

news dump," a term that refers to the time-honored practice of minimizing the attention an announcement

gets by making it late on Friday.

Trump rejected the notion on Monday.

"In the middle of a hurricane, even though it was Friday evening, I assumed the ratings

would be far higher than they would be normally," the president said.

Bill Gates Just Admitted That Trump is Right And Issued Major Warning

We all are still in shock of the situation that is happening in Barcelona.

Major lives ended due to a single terrorist attack.

This is a clear proof of how the world not only America is having issues with immigrants.

They became a global problem that requires drastic sanctions.

Some of them are terrorists and religious fanatics.

Attacks like this one today proves how they are not innocent at all.

They are not seeking a better place to live, they are only seeking a better place to bomb

due to their sick beliefs.

UConservative reports that Bill Gates understands the severity of this problem and that's

why he warned Americans about the possible chaos that could happen if immigrants keep

coming to our country.

The Microsoft founder showed his support for President Trump's ban.

According to Gates, Europe is already overwhelmed by immigrants and they are trying to put an

end to the migration problem.

What Gates suggested was that world leaders should make it difficult for migrants to reach

Europe.

This will help all the countries to put an end to all the immigrants entering the countries

on a daily basis.

Gates spoke about the problem Angela Merkel caused.

He said:

"On the one hand you want to demonstrate generosity and take in refugees, but the more

generous you are, the more word gets around about this — which in turn motivates more

people to leave Africa.

Germany cannot possibly take in the huge, massive number of people who are wanting to

make their way to Europe."

This is exactly why the leaders need to start listening to Trump.

This is why they need to issue their own travel ban.

Europe must secure their borders day and night in order to avoid a similar scenario like

the one that happened today.

Innocent people suffer because of someone's sick mind.

Let's all hope that soon this problem

will

be solved.

Taxes and Texas: Two Big Challenges for Trump This Week - Duration: 3:18.

BENNETT: Get ready for what promises to be of course another wild week at the Trump

White House. Last week ended with a Friday night flurry -- a news dump after

8:00 p.m. -- with the president of course pardoning former Arizona sheriff joe

arpaio. A very controversial pardon -- this president's first pardon. And trump... and

yet another move on Friday night pivoting toward his base. As we've said

here before it is all about the base. He knows he needs it for re-election and he

is doubling and tripling down every day to try to keep the base happy. On Tuesday

the president is scheduled... scheduled.. to travel to Texas to view the hurricane

damage in Houston, Corpus Christi of course -- that entire area on the Gulf

Coast where it was hit hard by Hurricane Harvey over the weekend and continues to

be hit hard. Interestingly, on Twitter over the weekend, the president

essentially declared victory -- really on Saturday morning -- that his administration,

local authorities, state authorities, had defeated the storm. So with heavy rains

continuing in the Houston area and really all across Texas and Louisiana,

the president is going, even before the storm is over -- it will still be

raining on Tuesday in the Texas- Louisiana Gulf Coast. So is the president

going to go soon? Will the president even be able to go? It's a huge huge logistical

footprint when any president goes anywhere, be it across the street to get

coffee or to view hurricane damage. So it's a very open question as

the rains get worse, especially in the Houston area, if the president

prematurely declared victory here. The next day, on Wednesday, the president is

scheduled to deliver what will be one of his first major domestic policy speeches.

He'll go to Missouri, in Springfield. He is going to talk taxes. Now the president

will be there to sell ideas -- not a plan, because there is no Republican tax

reform plan. We know what it will be centered on, what

its main focus will be: lots and lots of tax cuts for businesses, for the

middle class, but also for the wealthiest Americans. That will be controversial

That will hurt chances of getting Democratic votes. But the president will

not be selling a bill. White House officials and the tax writing committees

on the Hill have only begun to start talking about a plan.

There is no plan. So the president will be laying down markers and expect the

tax riders on the hill including the chairman of the committees to be

listening closely to what the president might demand be in a bill. This is a big

moment for the Republican effort. They struggled on health care, taxes should be

an easy one for Republicans to put something together and pass -- especially

because tax cuts are really, really a cornerstone issue for Republicans. They

didn't get it done on health care. If they can't get it done on tax cuts, let's

see if Republicans start to move away and really distance themselves from the

president.

Breaking Trump Busts State Giving 72 Million In Medicaid To Ineligible People - Duration: 13:50.

Breaking Trump Busts State Giving 72 Million In Medicaid To Ineligible People

The Department of Health and Human Services recently released an audit which says that

almost $72 million in Medicaid payments were given to ineligible people in Kentucky.

The state didn't determine the eligibility status for Medicaid benefits and the agency

didn't keep paperwork about citizenship status.

Although states must verify the citizenship status of the people who want to receive Medicaid

benefits, Kentucky determined the eligibility status for Medicaid benefits without any documentation.

Free Beacon reports: "The state agency did not always meet Federal and State requirements

when making eligibility determinations because of both human and system errors," the report

states.

"The state agency did not always perform, or maintain documentation that it had performed,

identity-proofing because of both human and system errors related to processes implemented

in response to the ACA that affected eligibility determinations for non-newly eligible Medicaid

applicants."

If a person applies for Medicaid benefits through the state marketplace, the person

must go through identity-proofing.

Although the person should give their birth date and Social Security number during the

application, the audit discovered that the state didn't provide documentation for 13

beneficiaries.

"On the basis of our sample results, we estimated that during our 6-month audit period,

approximately 8 percent of non-newly eligible beneficiaries in Kentucky were potentially

ineligible, and approximately 3 percent of federal payments were made to those beneficiaries,"

the report states.

"As a result, we estimated that Kentucky made federal Medicaid payments on behalf of

69,931 potentially ineligible beneficiaries totaling $72,763,721," Free Beacon reports.

The auditors and the state agency suggested Kentucky provide the documentation that shows

verified citizenship and identity.

According to Stephen Miller, the commissioner at the state agency, the Kentucky Department

for Medicaid Services admitted that mistakes were made

Free Beacon reports: "When informed of the issue, the Department for Medicaid Services

utilized staff communications and training to reinforce correct procedures. The state

appreciates the opportunity to comment on your recommendations," Miller said.

"We believe the issues identified have been successfully corrected."

It is not fair that some people pay for Medicaid benefits while others don't and still receive

it.

Hopefully, Kentucky will correct this

mistake soon.

Bikers For Trump Just Confirmed Phoenix Anti Trump Protesters Worst Nightmare - Duration: 13:50.

Bikers For Trump Just Confirmed Phoenix Anti-Trump Protesters Worst Nightmare

Because liberals are poisoning people's minds without a break, there are 14 organizations

planning to protest against President Trump's rally in Phoenix on Tuesday.

The President is going to be over there at the Phoenix Convention Center to hold a rally.

According to sources, the anti- Trump groups are planning to scream at the arena one hour

before the President steps on the stage.

Fortunately over there a counter- protest will occur in support of the President.

Ijr reports that when the Bikers for Trump Arizona heard about the planned protests,

they sent out a "call to action" to members:

"Donald Trump is coming to the Phoenix Convention Center to hold a rally.

There have been plans for Charlottesville sympathizers to protest.

We need our bikers to show up and keep people safe."

[…]

"They are supposed to start at 6:00.

We think we need to be there by at least 4:00.

That is when the doors open.

If there are people outside waiting to get in, we don't want anyone to harass them.

Protesters have a right to protest, but they don't have a right to threaten or intimidate.

That is why we need to be there."

One of the group's members, Jim Williams, told KPHO-TV they aren't attending the rally

to "start anything."

"We don't want anybody hurt, we don't anybody intimidated or anybody to stay away

from the rally because they're afraid there's going to be some violence showing up," Williams

added.

Additionally, another group is planning a "Stand for Patriotism" rally to counter

what organizers are calling "anti-American and hate groups."

"Let's counterprotest them and stand up for God and country," the organizers of

the rally stated.

Hopefully, the dueling protests will remain peaceful, but the bikers and pro-America protesters

will be countered by groups like Democratic Socialists of Phoenix and Desert Progressives,

according to The Washington Times.

Trump is going to be so much happy after hearing this.

The liberals are funding the protests in order to harm him and their people only listen to

their orders.

Unlike the people who are Trump supporters and proud Patriots.

They will always be there to support him because they love him.

Good luck

against

these bikers.

Ted Nugent Shows Trump The Easy Way To Publicly Humiliate A Hollywood Liberal - Duration: 11:26.

Ted Nugent Shows Trump The Easy Way To Publicly Humiliate A Hollywood Liberal

Rock musician and conservative commentator Ted Nugent had some brutal words for singer

David Crosby.

Crosby called out Nugent for being "not good enough" to be in the Rock and Roll

Hall of Fame.

During an appearance on "The Fox News Specialists," on Wednesday, Nugent called Crosby's criticism

a "badge of honor" and hurled several other insults at him as well:

"With all due respect to David Crosby — if any is due — here's a bloated carcass

that has abused his body all his life.

He is a repository for every drug and chemical known to man.

And if he doesn't have that much respect or soul, then his criticism [of] me is a badge

of honor.

He can kiss my a**."

Crosby and Nugent's feud began because Ted Nugent told a radio host in Albany that the

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame didn't induct him because he is a conservative.

Seems reasonable enough.

He specifically referred to Rolling Stone co-founder Iann Wenner.

Wenner is a very overt liberal and hates the second amendment.

She is also a part of choosing the inductees.

"I'm on the board of the directors of the NRA [National Rifle Association]," Nugent

said last week.

"Jann Wenner hates the Second Amendment so that's the only reason I'm not in the

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame."

When qustioned on Twitter about Nugent's claim, Crosby dubbed Nugent as an "a**hole"

and said that it was Nugent's lack of talent that stopped him from entering the Hall of

Fame.

When Fox News host Eboni Williams asked Nugent whether he would be in the Hall of Fame if

he were a liberal, Nugent said he would be "too stupid to carry

on a conversation" if

that

were

the case.

Kellyanne Conway Complains That The Media Isn't "Forced" To Be Nice To Trump - Duration: 4:23.

Officials within the Trump White House are still furious about the fact that the media

is actually reporting the truth about what Donald Trump is actually doing as president

of the United States.

Obviously, any time the president is in trouble, Kellyanne Conway comes trotting out.

She goes to Fox News this past Friday and she laments the fact that the media is not

forced to cover the president in a positive way.

Take a look at the clip.

A couple nights ago on television, he said he wondered whether or not the president was

fit to be president, fit to serve.

If James Clapper is watching right now, what's your message to him?

It's such an absurd analysis, playing armchair psychiatrist.

It's not just him.

It's a lot of people on TV.

I remember ... I'm old enough to remember when news stations reported the news and didn't

just have a parade of pundits going out there and opinionating and rendering their opinions,

pontificating and conjecturing.

I think it leads to analysis like this because people end up with very little to say.

They're not compelled.

They're not forced.

Nobody demands that they actually report facts-

Is this over the line?

Kellyanne?

Pardon me?

Is this over the line?

[crosstalk 00:01:15]

Yes, of course, it's way over the line.

It's way over the line.

The media and other opinion leaders, they were way too afraid of President Obama and

his administration.

They're not afraid enough here, meaning they say, "Well, this is just our job to report

the facts and hold people accountable."

That's not what that is.

I won't repeat what they're saying because it gives it oxygen.

I have an idea for Kellyanne Conway and really anyone within the Trump administration.

Instead of being angry at the media for not covering Trump positively, how about you look

at your guy, Donald, and wonder why he's not doing anything positive for the media to talk

about?

Fox News is the only media outlet that covers Donald Trump positively with the exception,

of course, of Washington Post and New York Times whenever Donald Trump decides to bomb

somebody because the media loves a good war.

When it comes to what the other outlets are reporting, they're not saying anything that's

not true.

They're not out there saying Donald Trump is just a horrible human being and that's

the end of the story.

They're adding some context.

They're letting us know why they think that and they're backing it up with facts and figures

and statistics.

Now, admittedly, MSNBC does spend a hell of a lot of time talking about the Russia thing

rather than reporting on some of the real horrible things that the president's actually

doing at the moment.

Right now, since Donald Trump can't stop talking about Russia himself, they're talking about

it as well.

For Kellyanne Conway to come out and say that it's sad that the media is not forced to cover

the president positively, and then say that they were never this hard on Obama, I don't

know if you know this, Kellyanne, because you're not very bright, but you were actually

talking to a couch full of human beings who spread the lie and hosted guests who spread

the lie that Barack Obama wasn't even born in the United States, or that he was somehow

a secret Muslim.

People on that couch who criticized his every move every single day for absolutely no reason

whatsoever.

Don't you dare get out there and say that they were never this bad to Obama because

you're talking to the people who were the worst to him, who spread lies about him far

worse than anything anyone has done about Donald Trump.

The media does not have an obligation to be nice to anyone.

The media has an obligation to the American public to tell the truth.

I'm sorry that that truth doesn't fit into your little world view where Donald Trump

is king and he can do no wrong.

Because here in the real world, all we're seeing coming out of the White House is mistake

after mistake after mistake.
