You can see all albums shared with you (if you "joined" them) in https://photos.google.com/sharing. But there you also see all albums you shared with others, and I do not know of a way to distinguish between both.

Trying to find out what makes the difference I found in my main account:

In my main account no album in https://photos.google.com/sharing shows a text starting with "You".
I created a few new (shared) albums for testing:

Creating a link gives an album with text "Link shared" (not correct: I only created a link).
I shared with 1 user using the 'Share" icon: text changes to "2 people" (me and one invitee)
After the invitee "joined" the album, it became "name (of invitee) and 1 other (me, the owner)"

I did the same with another account, and there it seems to behave like yours:
