I bought a new moto G71 5G last week. Photos clicked from my new phone aren't getting backed up. I checked Google Photos from my desktop, where I saw all photos from all my previous phones are backed up, but not those from my current phone. On my Moto G71 5G, I can neither see those from my current phone, not those from my previous phones.

The first questions that comes to my mind:  is Backup and sync in the Google Photos app set to upload to the correct account (the one you use for checking on the desktop?

Even when you are signed in to the wrong account, the Google Photos app should show photos taken with the new device and stored in the DCIM folder. These should be found both in the Photos tab, and under "Library" > Photos on device > Camera.  Do you see them there?

I can see the photos on the DCIM folder, but still, everytime I open the app, I only see "Setting up your photo library".

Welcome to Google Photos Community Support Forum & thanks for your post.

 

You can extract a still frame from a video through these steps.

• Tap to open the video
• Tap once again to make the controls visible
• Tap the edit icon at the bottom
• Tap on the middle to make the frame selector visible.
• Move the frame selector. You will see a preview of the frame above the selector. Once you decide about the right picture, tap on export. 

That frame will get saved as a still photo in your collection.
