I bought an old phone Pixel2 just for the backup bcz I have two sim's and now. Since I have logged in into that phone, my photo's app have stopped syncing any photos of people that were already recognized in the app.

The first thing is to check if the images/videos are available in the web version of Google Photos. To do this, go to https://photos.google.com.

Look under the "Photos" menu, located in the left menu. If the images / videos do not appear, proceed to look for them in the "Trash".

If the resources you are looking for are there, just select them and click the "Restore" button.

Remember that images in the "Trash" are automatically deleted after 60 days. After this date it is not possible to recover them. If you delete the trash it will not be possible to recover the information.

You can review at the following URLs (I recommend you review them from a desktop browser):

An important consideration is that the "Backup and sync" option has been enabled on mobile devices. If this was not the case, the images and videos that you have deleted from your phone will not be able to recover them, at least from Google Photos.

Lastly, if the deletion process is foreign to Google Photos and responds to file management on mobile or desktop, I recommend using a file recovery app. On the Internet you can find different.

These raw-files often contain a small jpg-file for fast previewing. Probably most of these tiny jpg's are uploaded to Photos indeed, but the big raws stick on Drive and take all storage in your account.

Please download a file directly from photos.google.com via the 3 dots (not from screen) and then check on computer if is a small jpg indeed.

Or your camera-setting is on RAW+JPG: then the files on Photos have good quality and all on Drive can be deleted if the setting in the app is on Never remove both copies (on Drive and on PC).

Not much I can add. We couldn't report a bug as Google would simply reject it as the camera is not approved. You could try the failures manually from photos.google.com as that interface is usually less strict. If you haven't edited the failures or processed them differently it is hard to explain. We could take a look to see if there we could find any differences if you share an example of one which is OK and one which is not.

To assist you better, could you please let me know what exactly are you referring to when you say "make a video and code"? Are you referring to creating a movie through Google Photos? If yes, I'd suggest you to try the below steps to create a video:

On your computer, go to photos.google.com.
Sign in to your Google Account.
On the left, click Assistant.
At the top, click Movie.
Select a movie theme.
Click Get started.
Select the photos.
Click Done.

Thank you for sharing your question with the Community.

To enable the locked folder you must have Android 6 (or higher) and Google Photos updated to the latest version.

Go to the Google Photos app.
Go to a "Library".
Go to "Utilities".
There will appear the option "Configure locked folder".
Start the wizard.

Keep in mind:

The resources that are in these folders cannot be viewed from other applications.
Access to this folder uses the device's lock system.
These items will NOT be backed up in the Cloud. Very important!
If you delete Google Photos, the images and videos in this folder will be permanently deleted.

To move a resource to the locked folder:

Select the image or video.
Go to the "More options" menu (the three dots, located in the upper right corner).
Select "Move to locked folder."
Accept the action and voila.

To check your locked folder:

Go to "Library".
Go to "Utilities".
Select the "Locked folder" option.
