Thanks for posting in the Google Photos Help Forum.

I do understand the inconvenience as the geo-tagged places of your Google Photos is missing. Therefore, I recommend trying the steps below in sequence, this may help in fixing the issue:

• Make sure your device is up-to-date.
  
• Make sure the App is up-to-date.
  
• Try restarting the App through the following steps:
  
• Go to your App Settings.
• Click stop on the afflicted App with the Force Stop button.
• Wait a few seconds to make sure the App has stopped processing, and then attempt to re-start it.
• Close the background running apps through the following steps:
  
• Go to your App Settings.
• Display the Active Apps on your device.
• Select the App you wish to close and Force Stop it.
• Repeat this step with all active Apps.
• Try clearing your App cache through the following steps:
  
• Tap the system Settings tab on the main screen of your device.
• Tap the General section of settings that is on the far right.
• Tap Storage in the General tab.
• Clear the cache data once storage calculates the data.
• Back out of the storage section. 
• Tap Applications and find the application in question.
• Tap the application and clear the cache (if available).
• Clear the data for the application if there is no cache to clear.
• Exit the settings screen and restart the device.

Simply because the print has a ratio of 5:4 while your photo has a ratio of 3:2 which is a large difference. 

So you should have cropped the photo to about this size yourself before ordering: 

Then you also would have left-out the bad background above her head. 

Nevertheless: the printservice should have shown you a preview, so you have the right to complain if that was not done. See Troubleshooting

We can do no more - no Google here, just volunteers.

Now you can stop a video playing in the thumbnail view.

 

However, first, check whether you have got the latest version of the app.

Next,

• Tap your profile icon.
• Tap photos settings.
• Tap "Phot grid playback".
• Tap the sliders in front of "Videos" & "Motion Photos" to move them towards the left & grey out.

That will stop the videos from playing while in the thumbnail view.

 I have the upload size selected to "upload original no change is quality" but still for some reason everything is uploaded and severely diminishing the quality. I have a 2 TB plan so I know storage isn't an issue.
