I have 2 folders in google drive, one of them is pictures which I upload from my camera/desktop and …

I have 2 folders in google drive, one of them is pictures which I upload from my camera/desktop and I want them to appear on google photos (lets call this folder A) and another is more sensitive pictures which I do not want them to appear in google photos (lets call this folder B). 

I currently have google backup and sync set up on my desktop and the photos are transferring fine from my desktop to my drive. I also have the sync photos and videos from google drive option checked off and it is syncing all photos on my drive to google photos. 

When I delete a photo from Google Photos, google drive gives me the option to remove or restore. When I press restore it restores it everywhere including google photos, and when I remove it removes it everywhere including google drive. 

Can someone help me so that Folder A continues to sync my photos to google photos while the photos in Folder B do not show up on google photos but remain on google drive?

I had ran out of storage & they didn't back up. Is there any thing i can do to restore these? Some of them are extremely important. If i purchase more storage would these photos appear? I don't use iOS thus waited to reply, but since no one did, I can tell you that on Android:

• there is no option to download multiple photos (I read that on iOS there is one)
• but when you open a single photo and tap i (or swipe up), you see the option "Download" ONLY for photos that are not yet on the device. That seems logical, because why would you download it when it's already there.

You can get the album only when you have either enabled "Back and Sync" options or you have uploaded them manually. In both the case use https://photos.google.com and login your account to get back those photos/videos.

Otherwise there is no way to retrieve your photos/videos, because Google Photos doesn't have hold on your phone.

The steps to take a screenshot vary between phone models & android versions. You can try the steps described below on your Galaxy A12.

 

However, if you have activated OK Google or Hey Google detection on your phone, the easiest way would be to say, "Hey Google take a screenshot". Then the Google assistant will do the work for you. However, once the screenshot is ready, upload that through Google Photos.

 

Nevertheless, the following are the standard methods to take a screenshot.

• Long press the power button & tap on the menu option "Screenshot".
• Press the volume down & power button simultaneously.
• Press the volume down & home button simultaneously.
• Press the power button & home button simultaneously.
• Pull down the notification panel & look for the screenshot option.
