Trump news on Youtube Jan 14 2019

US President Donald Trump has lashed out at reports that suggested he tried to

conceal details of his private meetings with his Russian counterpart Vladimir

Putin for more on this and other news from around the world let's turn to our

know around so Adam tell us more my mother report by The Washington Post

over the weekend claimed president Trump went to what it called extraordinary

lengths to conceal the specifics of his conversations with Putin this apparently

included taking away notes from the interpreter present at meetings in 2017

the post also said there was no record of his private to our discussion with

Putin in Helsinki last year the report came amid an FBI probe to see whether

Trump was acting as a Russian agent either intentionally or unwittingly the

inquiry came after the New York Times reported federal investigators were

concerned about transfer havior after he fired James Comey as FBI director in a

phone call with Fox News on Saturday Trump blasted the recent reports he said

he was quote not keeping anything under wraps and that any and that he couldn't

care less he added he had what he called a great conversation with Putin in

Helsinki about very positive things as he put it such as the economy he also

claimed anybody could have listened to the meeting however he didn't flatly

deny the allegations in the reports Democrats again raised serious questions

about Trance relationship with Moscow with some saying Putin's policies were

being quote parroted by Trump Republicans defended the president

Breaking News Today - Trump fails to DENY is Putin's secret agent but labels the question the most i - Duration: 6:37.

President Donald Trump has blasted the notion that he is a secret agent for Russia, following a report that the FBI had investigated that possibility in 2017

One day after the New York Times made the claim, Fox New's Jeanine Pirro posed the question to Trump in an interview on Saturday night, asking: 'Are you now or have you ever worked for Russia, Mr

President?' 'I think it's the most insulting thing I've ever been asked,' Trump replied

'I think it's the most insulting article I've ever had written.' 'It was a great insult, and the New York Times is a disaster as a paper,' Trump said

Citing unnamed former law enforcement officials, the Times reported that the FBI opened the combined criminal and counterintelligence probe into Trump in May of 2017

Trump fired Comey on May 9, 2017, citing a letter from Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein that sharply criticized Comey's handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation

However, the FBI grew concerned that Trump was acting on behalf of Russian interests by firing Comey, the report claims

Trump dismissed the notion in Saturday's interview, but without ever directly denying that he was working as a secret agent for Russia

Trump said he fired Comey because 'he was a terrible liar, and he did a terrible job as the FBI director

' 'And, obviously, nothing was found,' Trump said of the alleged investigation. No evidence has publicly emerged in the 20 months since Comey was fired that indicate Trump is a secret agent, or that he engaged in a criminal conspiracy with the Russian government

'I can tell you this, if you ask the folks in Russia, I've been tougher on Russia than anybody else,' Trump said

Robert Mueller took over the FBI investigation when he was appointed special counsel soon after Comey's firing

The overall investigation is looking into Russian election interference and whether Trump's campaign coordinated with the Russians, as well as possible obstruction of justice by Trump

The Times says it's unclear whether Mueller is still pursuing the counterintelligence angle

Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani told the Times he had no knowledge of the inquiry but said that since it was opened a year and a half ago and they hadn't heard anything, apparently 'they found nothing

' Trump has also repeatedly and vociferously denied collusion with the Russians.Trump also responded to a new report from the Washington Post claiming that he confiscated his translator's notes about at least one of his meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and ordered the linguist not to discuss the conversations with other top U

S.officials.Citing unnamed current and former U.S.officials, the Washington Post reported on Saturday that Trump had taken extraordinary measures to conceal the contents of his meetings with Putin

The Post claims that Trump confiscated his translator's notes after he and Putin first met in person on July 7, 2017 on the sidelines of the G-20 summit in Hamburg

The leaders spoke for about three hours, and then-U.S.Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and the U

S.interpreter were present for the meeting, as well as Russian Foreign Minster Sergei Lavrov and Putin's translator

'I'm not keeping anything under wraps - I couldn't care less, it's so ridiculous,' Trump fired back in the interview with Pirro

'Anybody could have listened to that meeting, it is open for grabs. The whole Russia thing it's a hoax, it's a total hoax, everybody knows it

' 'Think of it, I had a one-on-one meeting with Putin, like I do with every other leader

I have many one-on-one, nobody ever says anything about it, but with Putin they say, 'Oh what did they talk about?' We talked about very positive things,' Trump added, saying that Israel was among the topics discussed

Trump also said: 'The Washington Post, that's basically the lobbyists for Amazon - [Jeff] Bezos has bigger problems than anybody right now, but Bezos uses that as his lobbyist

Donald Trump orders U.S. Army to find money for his wall, which could drain Everglades funding - Duration: 5:55.

Ahigh-ranking civilian official with the U.S.Army confirmed today that the White House has ordered the military branch to find money to build a wall on the Mexican border, DailyMail

com has learned.Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army Ryan Fisher, whose U

S.Army Corps of Engineers could be involved in the wall's construction if President Donald Trump declares an emergency, said in an exclusive interview with DailyMail

com that the country faces a national security issue.'Look, we're facing a national security issue,' he said

'We're waiting for more orders.' If the wall were to be green-lighted, however, Fisher hinted that major civil engineering projects like flood control, dyke repairs and fish and wildlife restoration could end up delayed or temporarily stopped during the wall's construction

Fisher appeared today before 200-plus Florida environmental activists at the annual Everglades Coalition Conference in Duck Key to talk about Everglades restoration, the re-establishment of a cleansing natural water flow in a 734-square-mile area besieged by development

The giant swamp west of Miami has been ailing, according to scientists, and the water supplies for nearly 10 million residents as well as dozens of animal species are under threat

Recently, algae blooms in Everglades waters caused by overdevelopment and agriculture overflew toward the state's Gulf and East coasts and caused respiratory problems for residents, fish kills and a tourism slowdown

After years of wrangling, state and federal authorities hatched one of the largest-scale hydrologic restoration projects ever and started construction of reservoirs, flood control devices and canals at the projected cost of $20 billion

If Trump were to declare the wall a national emergency and force the Corps to build it, one of the key agencies in the restoration could see its Everglades funding dry out

'I shouldn't make any comments on the wall because I might find that I'm contradicting myself as soon as I check the news on my phone,' said Fisher, a political appointee who worked as a legislative director for Vice President Mike Pence when he served as U

S.Congressman.'But the president has asked us whether, if he declares the wall an emergency, we'd be ready

'We assured him we'd be ready.' The Corps then would have to be selective on which routine project it would discontinue

'We would need to decide whether other civil works project are not essential to national defense,' Fisher said as some activists grumbled

Fisher was asked whether building the wall could take money away from the giant anti-pollution Everglades project

He didn't rule out taking the Everglades money but tried to reassure the audience that the project is important

'We assured the president we would find the money (for the wall), but we would have to take money away from unobligated projects,' Fisher repeated

He hinted that that the Everglades restoration is among those.'Everglades Restoration, however, is well advocated among politicians and activists in Florida,' he said, telling the audience not to worry

He told DailyMail.com: 'We're not at a point where we are choosing projects. But, the (Everglades) restoration could be considered a non-essential project

' Like many worried activists in the Keys, Celeste De Palma, the director of Everglades policy at the Florida Audubon Society, said she was surprised by Fisher's admission

'(Fisher's) remarks are interesting, and it's interesting he volunteered the information,' she said

Trump MOCKS Jim Acosta Over BORDER WALL VIDEO Then All Hell BROKE LOOSE On CNN(VIDEO)!!! - Duration: 11:01.

Trump MOCKS Jim Acosta Over BORDER WALL VIDEO Then All Hell BROKE LOOSE On CNN

here are some of the steel slats that the president's been talking about right

here as we're walking along here we're not seeing any kind of imminent danger

there are no migrants trying to rush toward this fence here in the McAllen

Texas area no sign of the national emergency that the president has been

talking about as a matter of fact it's pretty tranquil down here okay

so here I am in front of a wall and there are no illegals crossing eggs some

people

some people some people might call that cause and effect but not Jim they have

nothing to do with each other you know he should do more of this you know Here

I am holding an umbrella in the rain and my god I am dry clearly there's no rain

now when I put on these sunglasses suddenly the sun's glare is gone

obviously the Sun has gone missing but I wonder if Trump appreciated the

sales pitch oh my god I don't care I don't care what you think of Trump you

could put him on Rushmore for that alone as for poor Jim that wasn't even the

worst part of his week

yesterday man who promised at the roll the whole truth and nothing but the

truth so help you God I advise you to

make sure that goes viral this is why by the way this is why I'm one of the only

people around here at the time of day I explained the gutless alternative

information additional facts and I explained it many times and don't you

put it back in my face for all the corrections at your networking issue I

have a public service announcement and now a public service announcement if you

happen to come across too fleshy prune sized orbs rolling down Pennsylvania

Avenue please put them on ice and promptly returned them to Jim Acosta

this has been a public service announcement so the crisis is now a

circus how did this happen well we know that the media makes everything worse

including even politics which is already the worst thing ever politics is the

invisible gas that seeps into any discussion Dillons Jim Acosta botched

this attempt to take down of the president here are some of the steel

slats that the president's been talking about right here as you can see yes you

can't see through these slats to the other side of the us-mexico border but

as we're walking along here we're not seeing any kind of imminent danger there

are no migrants trying to rush toward this fence here in the McAllen Texas

area as a matter of fact there are some other businesses behind me along this

highway there's a gas station Burger King and so on but no sign of the

national emergency that the president has been talking about as a matter of

fact it's pretty tranquil down here pretty tranquil because walls work Jim I

think he just made the president's point for him Greg that was paid for by the

Donald Trump 2020 a reelection campaign I mean he's in a spot at a wall and says

see there's no problem dumber than we initially thought which

says a lot or I'm thinking this could be a really long prank like you know Andy

Kaufman when Andy Kaufman pretended to be this

in character all the way till his death I think that he is playing this role and

by the way it's amazing look the media has no credit credibility on

this issue because just weeks ago they called this a humanity in humanitarian

crisis right there were people rushing the border there were caravans or people

died their suffering and then when Donald Trump agrees and says this is a

humanitarian crisis they turn it into this mocking tone what crisis there's no

crisis here look at this wall I mean they're the biggest hypocrites it is

hard not to despite it's hard to like them it's easy to despise the problem is

that Obama called this a humanitarian crisis Trump tweeted that out and the

media is on record so many times as having defended him and so many times as

having come in to defend Chuck Schumer and all those Democrats that voted for

border security that now they're panicked about how they can flip that

now to hate Trump for espousing the very same things that all those Democrats did

that the media backed them up on that's their problem I don't get that at all so

the media of all of them gather down there to look at the photo-op here and

you have the Border Patrol and they make an announcement that 90% of the traffic

comes in this sector where there's no barrier okay six only six percent of the

traffic comes where there is a barrier you'd think the media would take an

expert opinion like this and maybe write it down in one of their news stories and

show hey the experts on the ground say walzwerk

no they that's that's again that's how you distort numbers here's what here's

the reality there's not a wall across most of the border Jesse I understand a

very specific sector I think really slows down okay let's let me just say

the media went down there the President himself and I think a lot of the anger

at the media came from the session with anchors that was supposed to be off the

record New York Times reports the president said he didn't

give the speech on Tuesday night he didn't want to go to the book didn't see

the purpose and then point at the people behind him Kelly and Conway Sarah

Huckabee Sanders bill shine and said these people think it's a good idea

apparently he didn't but here's the reality you have a situation that

violated the off the right we also then if you know what I thought this was the

most transparent president ever have it on the record you guys certainly mind

reading now you know exactly what he's thinking at every time any retweet see

what so you retweet he doesn't retweet the meeting he repeats her retweets Brad

Pascal Don Bonjean Oh Charlie kochenko okay so Trump is active on social media

Thank You Juan Dana yes so you have these off-the-record things and and then

you go down there for this opportunity to showcase the border the media is

following along do you think this is gonna make any impact with the press

whatsoever well what the thing about the the author record being violated I that

is I don't think it was that egregious necessarily I would not like it if it

happened to mean but I also would not be surprised if there weren't other people

who were calling Maggie Haberman the New York Times reporter and telling her that

exact same thing because we know this is what happens the White House will say

that's not true and then three months later you find out that is exactly what

happened the government shutdown continues at this hour is the debate

over a border wall enters its fourth contentious week

neither side in this has shown any sign of willingness to compromise this

remains a stalemate as of now the very definition of it or at least that's what

it seems like from the outside in fact this debate is over we're not getting a

barrier along our southern border we can't not now not ever that possibility

was permanently destroyed today by a fact seeking missile of truth launched

by one of our country's premier cable news outlets in a single devastating act

of journalism CNN killed the wall took their biggest guns to do it the network

dispatched his chief White House correspondent slash moral philosopher

slash Renaissance poet Jim Acosta to the us-mexico border specifically to the

town of Kalen Texas once on the ground in

McAllen Acosta wasted no time in proving once and for all that walls don't work

watch the stand up that changed history here are some of the steel slats that

the president's been talking about but as we're walking along here we're not

seeing any kind of imminent danger there are no migrants trying to rush toward

this fence here in the McAllen Texas area no sign of the national emergency

that the president has been talking about as a matter of fact it's pretty

tranquil down here you see that take that you nativist bigot freaks you

creepy wall obsessives Jim Acosta just spanked you he was there not in some

cushy air-conditioned studio in Washington with the rest of the Talking

Heads but in the field on the scene doing the kind of hard-boiled

shoe-leather reporting that has made Jim Acosta a household name a casa went

right to the wall itself the very wall he finds immoral and is often argued

against at press conferences and what Jim Acosta found there will shock you

not a single illegal alien was anywhere near that wall there was no tent city

there were no predatory gang members or coyotes ms-13 not there

there was no sad suffering caravan everything was just fine whereas Jim

Acosta so memorably put it the area around that steel barrier was pretty

tranquil see that's what you get when you build walls America tranquility and

that's the last thing we need more of in this country more peaceful bucolic

scenes like that wait I can't really been seen on its point could it now it's

getting confusing left to call Jim Acosta once he gets back from his latest

mission and clear this up in the meantime no we just want to give you

some idea of how stupid and buffoonish the wall coverage has been recently in

case you missed it thank you god bless you and God bless america

Second Kim-Trump summit likely to be held in Vietnam: Reports - Duration: 1:53.

Hope are high that North Korea and the United States will soon hold their second summit.

And there's lots of speculation about where it might happen.

Many reports are pointing to Vietnam.

Our Park Hee-jun has the details.

Choices for the second North Korea-U.S. summit appear to be narrowing down to a select few

locations.

The Japanese paper Yomiuri Shimbun reported Sunday... that U.S. President Donald Trump

suggested to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un... that they meet in mid-February in Vietnam.

The report says that although various venues, such as Indonesia and Mongolia are also being

considered,...

Vietnam is the most likely But North Korea is yet to respond.

The Straits Times also reported that Vietnam is the favorite.

Sources in Washington told the Singapore-based news outlet that the shortlist may be down

to Vietnam and Thailand,... and that both of them have offered venues.

But the report adds that the Thai government plans to hold a general election by March,

which could interfere.

And according to CNN last week,... the White House has already surveyed locations in Hanoi,

Bangkok and Hawaii.

The inter-Korean truce village of Panmujeom could be another option.

Citing diplomatic sources...

South Korean news agency YTN reported... that officials from the U.S. State Department went

It also said North Korea has been demanding the meeting be held there for safety and logistical

reasons.

Nothing has been announced as of yet.

But at the start of the year,... Kim and Trump both expressed strong hopes for a second round

of talks.

Washington also announced on Saturday, that it will ease restrictions on humanitarian

assistance to Pyeongyang,... which is being viewed as a conciliatory gesture ahead of

the summit.

And so observers speculate that the details may be sorted out in the not too distant future.

Trump Hires Army Of Lawyers To Protect Him From Mueller - Duration: 3:46.

With all of the talk recently about Donald Trump's border wall, his address earlier this

week, meeting with the Democrats has misspelled tweet about California fires and FEMA.

Uh, it's easy to forget that the man is still under these massive investigations that threatened

the legitimacy of his entire presidency.

It's easy for the public to forget that, but you know, who hasn't forgotten it.

Donald Trump himself.

In fact, this whole wall government shutdown business has been a great distraction for

him to beef up his legal team behind the scenes without the public paying attention.

According to reports, the White House has hired at least 17 more lawyers in order to

fight off the upcoming Mueller report from the Special Prosecutor's office.

17 new lawyers basically amassing an army of attorneys to help fight back whatever is

going to come out of the Robert Mueller report, which the administration expects could come

as soon as the beginning of February.

So we could just be a couple of weeks away from this final report coming out.

We could also, based on past investigations into presidents, be several years away from

the final report coming out.

That's the scary thing we don't know, but this administration is sure as hell preparing

themselves to fight off whatever happens and one of the jobs that these lawyers are trying

to do is figure out how Donald Trump can block the release of the report from the American

public.

Now, if he is able to do this, I promise you, fear not there is going to be away for this

stuff to get leaked out to the press.

You know somebody is going to get their hands on it and it's going to become public.

Whether it's somebody that worked on the team, somebody inside the government trying to be

a hero or hell, maybe just the Democrats subpoenaing it, getting it and then releasing it.

Either way, if Trump tries to hide it, the hiding is not going to last very long, so

that's not something that I'm even particularly worried about.

Plus if he attempts to do that, just go ahead and add one more tally mark to the list of

things we can impeach him for.

But here's the thing, the molar report, while a lot of people's a us, the big one, we got

to wait for that.

When we got to wait for that one, even I've said that in the past, there are still plenty

of impeachable offenses that the president has already committed that we know about that

we could impeach him for.

We technically don't even need that.

We do not need the molar report.

I mean, we already know he's individual one and the Michael Cohen, a campaign finance,

uh, uh, criminal activity, we know that we know about the charitable fraud that took

place with his organization, which is also a crime.

Those are known and those are 100 percent impeachable offenses and those are happening

up in New York where he can't pardon himself or his kids.

That's what's so great about those.

Nonetheless, he seems to be focused on the molar report, which to me kind of tells us

that this one would be the most damaging to his ego.

Not necessarily his presidency, but two is ego.

Because we have seen this man do all sorts of things that have undermined the legitimacy

that have been borderline impeachable offenses since the day he became president.

The only thing he cares about is his ego, so there must be something that they know

about in that molar report that's just at the very least going to make Donald Trump

look like a pathetic and weak individual.

Trump Campaign Staffers Try To Rig 2020 Convention To Avoid Embarrassing Trump - Duration: 4:11.

If you remember back to the 2016 Republican convention where they officially nominated

Donald Trump to be their nominee for president, um, there was a time when never Trump republicans

kind of started making a Ruckus on the floor because they did not want Donald Trump to

be the nominee.

It was embarrassing for the would be president and most of these people, it turns out were

supporters of Senator Ted Cruz.

And when Ted Cruz gave his speech and did not endorse Donald Trump in that speech, it

made Trump angry.

And that's not something that he is forgotten in the years since that 2016 convention.

So now the Trump campaign is trying to actively influence the process and essentially rig

the upcoming 2020 convention in Charlotte, North Carolina so that Trump does not get

embarrassed again.

Now I have to start by saying I think it's really cute that they think that this guy

is still going to be in office in 2020 able to run for president again.

But nonetheless they're doing everything they can to rig the process and keep out any person

who doesn't blindly support Donald Trump.

And here's how they're doing it.

Recently you had former White House aide, a nick trainer.

He started this initiative on behalf of the Trump campaign after working closely with

Trump for quite a while, and what they're doing is they're going out right now with

the state Republican parties electing their leaders, you know, these are the leaders that

are going to take them into the 2020 convention and they're trying to influence the process.

They're creating these teams to go out, go to these states, talk to the people running

for the party leader, makes sure they're diehard Trump people, and if they're not, then they're

supporting the other people in the party who are Trump supporters who also want to be the

state party leader.

They're doing the same thing with staffing for these state Republican parties because

all of them are going to be sending delegates to the convention.

And that's the other piece of the puzzle.

We don't want any non Trump delegates.

We don't want any never Trumpers out there holding up your state sign.

So they're actively getting involved in the delegate selection process to make sure that

Donald Trump doesn't get embarrassed at the 2020 convention.

Uh, they're also in some states we've seen so far trying to change the rules so that

nobody can challenge Donald Trump.

A Republican challenger could not emerge to challenge Donald Trump.

So they're trying to rig the entire system, not just to protect this man, but to protect

is very fragile ego.

Donald Trump cannot stand descent.

He cannot stand not being surrounded by blind loyalists.

That is what he is all about.

It doesn't matter what policies it is, it doesn't matter what business venture, as long

as the people around him tell him they love him, he is good to go.

He is good to go and he's been that way his entire life because there is something severely

psychologically wrong with this man.

All you have to do is feed his ego and he will embrace you.

And that's what he wants to happen at this Republican convention in 2020.

He wants to walk into a room of thousands of people and have them just faint in adoration

for him, and then he will embrace them.

Then he will tell them he loves them and they're so great, but if there is dissension in the

ranks, if there's a raucous on the floor of never Trump republicans, that not only is

that going to make them unhappy, but it's also gonna make him very sad because his fragile

little ego is going to take another hit when he realizes that most people in this country

really can't stand him, and more importantly, can't wait for him to not be president anymore.

Trump Just SHOCKS EVERYONE With HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT On BORDER! Nobody SAW THIS Coming

today president thank you stand thank you for the courage we pray for this

wisdom today to be increased as we hear from around the nation which way to

thank for your guidance blessed be the patrols that are on the border of those

that are putting their life on the line we pray for the victims families of

people who have suffered and lost loved ones because of the crisis that we're

dealing with in this room today give us grace and give us help in the time of

need in Jesus name we pray thank you Pastor very beautiful so we're here

today to address the humanitarian and security crisis on our southern border I

just got back it was a sight to behold not pretty very dangerous drugs are

flowing across human traffickers you think of that as an ancient crime it's

not an ancient crime it's more prevalent today in this world far beyond the

United States it's a world crime given to us very much by the internet and bad

people the Internet has made things in many ways better in many ways much worse

but human trafficking grabbing women in particular and children but women taping

them up wrapping tape around their mouths so they can't shout or scream

tying up their hands behind their back and even their legs and putting them in

the backseat of a car or a van three four five six seven at a time they don't

go through checkpoints they go through areas that don't have a wall or don't

have a steel barrier they go up to the

checkpoint and before they get to it they make a right or a left depending on

where they are and they go out into the desert or out into the land and they

find the first area that doesn't have anything blocking its way and they have

many highways all over the place you can see it all over the place and it's not

good and the only way you're going to stop it the only way to stop it without

question is with a very powerful wall or steel barrier this is part of what we've

just finished this is a section that we're doing this is what we've designed

since I've been in some of the wall that they put up over the years which by the

way should have been put up whether it look good or not should have been put up

a long time ago we inherited a lot of problems whether it's North Korea

whether it's the Middle East whether it's a lot of other things we took over

a lot of problems and we're straightening them out one by one one of

the big problems we have is our border our southern border and we're going to

take care of it now the easy solution is for me to call a national emergency I

could do that very quickly I have the absolute right to do it but I'm not

going to do it so fast because this is something Congress should do and we're

waiting for the Democrats to vote they should come back and vote they want to

go home they're probably home by now and Nancy and Chuck and all of the folks

that could settle this thing in 15 minutes

I used to say 45 minutes now I say 15 minutes it's so simple we need money for

a barrier if we don't have a barrier we're just wasting all of the other

money there's no technology that's any good I think you'd say that

you know that better than anybody most of you guys

know without the barrier you don't have security without the barrier you have

people driving it loaded up with drugs with smuggled people with all sorts of

things that you don't want to know about so we need a barrier that's very simple

meaning we could also do a much more major form of immigration reform and I'd

look forward to doing that along with many of the people at the table

including our vice-president and we look very much forward to moving on that but

first we have to get a barrier because it all doesn't work without protection

the Rio Grande area where I was yesterday you just have to look at it to

see how dangerous it is El Paso Texas went from one of the most unsafe parts

or cities in the United States to one of the safest cities in the United States

as soon as they put up the wall they built a wall and fencing apparatus that

blocked people so they went from one of the most dangerous cities to one of the

safest cities all within a very short period of time

it's common sense folks everyone knows it works everyone knows it's not

expensive they say it's been evil well so is the wheel medieval I looked at all

the vans and all of the serious equipment that they surrounded me with

yesterday the Secret Service the police the Border Patrol ice every one of those

had the wheel well they say wheels are medieval too but some things don't

change wheels and walls and they haven't found

an alternative to either of those two right they haven't found an alternative

so we want Congress to do its job we want the Democrats to come back and vote

wherever they may be I haven't left the White House except to go to Iraq for a

very short period of time where I had great experience actually I've met some

great people some great generals we have great ideas having to do with Syria it's

working out very well knocking the hell out of Isis and we'll

bring in our folks back home and we're gonna always have a presence it's

working out very well a lot of things are working out well North Korea is

working out very well a lot of things are working out well but the southern

border is something that should be easy so what we're not looking to do right

now is national emergency what we wanted to be the absolute right to do it in

many ways it's the easy way out but this is up to Congress and it should be up to

Congress and they should do it and if they can't do it if they yell that we

can't do it there's no way we can vote for security there's no way we can vote

for safety all Nancy and Chuck have to do is tell me and you know what we'll

start thinking about another alternative but this is one of the easy votes

they'll ever have it's very simple and then we go on to major reform on

immigration and I look forward to that because after 50 years of talking about

it they should have done it and frankly previous presidents should have done the

wall it should have been done not just section small sections the problem with

doing the section of wall as they come around it so the wall works for the area

that is but when you have the big openings they just come around it and we

can't allow that to happen so we have great plans I met yesterday with the

Army Corps of Engineers you know we're building the wall right now as we speak

somebody said oh but we had a billion six and they haven't spent it the reason

we haven't spent it it's because the contractors are building it and unlike

governments and this government in particular I like paying after it's

built on set up before it's built they I learned that a long time ago in building

buildings you look your contract to do the work and then you see if they did a

good job and if they didn't do a good job don't pay them and if they do a good

job pay them fast so a lot of a lot of fables were told a lot of lies

were told so we're building wall as we speak we've done a lot of renovation

some of the renovation we had no choice we had to rip it down and build new wall

you'll see that in San Diego and some other areas where we actually went to a

new wall because it was almost better and cheaper in some ways than trying to

renovate old garbage it wasn't going to work and in some cases you had a good

structure you had a good basis less expensive to renovate generally speaking

and we've done a great job so we've done a lot of renovation with the new wall

and we're building the new wall as we speak and the money that they say we

didn't spend has been spent but it hasn't been paid this big difference and

when the contractors finish up they get paid and they're doing a second section

army-corps has been very impressive working with them has been great the new

wall that we've designed is really beautiful it's visual you can see

through it which you have to be able to do I mean I like to have a concrete wall

in one way but in another way it wouldn't be very effective because you

can't see to the other side so these are steel walls and in many cases steel

walls that steel that is that has concrete inside it's pumped into the

steel it's hollow and it's pumped into the steel so sort of a combination of

both which is not a bad combination so I just want to thank the people at this

table some very special people some great friends of mine as is where I

asked the Democrats to come back to Washington and to vote for money for the

wall the barrier whatever you want to call it's okay with me they can name it

whatever they can name it peaches I don't care what they name it but we need

money for that barrier I will say this the republicans have been rock-solid

they want this to happen they wanted it to happen a long time ago and and

frankly for many years I'm not just talking

about now I'm talking about four years I gave yesterday an example with Israel

for many years everybody campaigning for president said they're going to move the

embassy to Jerusalem the American Embassy to Jerusalem this one on pastor

as you know for many many years many many presidents dating back all the way

to who was the first and they never did it and I said the same thing same word

same campaign but I did it got it done and people are very happy Jewish

population and evangelicals unbelievably happy I did it I understand why they

didn't do it because it was very tough to do met with a lot of nasty talk

before I did it and then I did it and it was done and now we've just opened up

the embassy is you know long ahead of budget and and schedule a way under

budget like how about a billion dollars under budget opened it up for almost

nothing an existing building that we renovated but the fact is for years and

years I heard about the embassy going to Jerusalem and the people would campaign

they're in for four years they're in for eight years and W get it done I got it

done this is a very similar thing I've been hearing about putting a really good

wall and I in my case I like to say a beautiful office I think it makes a

difference I've seen some of the wall they put up it's so unattractive that I

can understand why other people don't want it but this is a great looking this

is a great looking structure but it's it's gonna look great it's gonna do the

trick beyond belief it's far better than anybody had projected we have it at a

much lower cost and it's better stronger it's better and you have the vision

through you have you're able to see through but we're going to get it done

and and I compare that to the embassy because they talked about it for forty

five fifty years longer and we get it done we're going to get

this done too now Republicans are rock solid I have to

hand it to Mitch McConnell every one of them Kevin they have been so strong

others I'm very impressed the Democrats are just following

politics and I'm not saying that for any reason other way I guess they're looking

at 2020 they think gee we could hurt Trump we'll have a better chance at

winning an election this isn't about winning an election this is very simply

very very simply about doing what's right for the country and we have to do

what's right for the country this is common sense this is not sending rockets

to the moon this is common sense we have to have this the country has to have

they've been talking about it for 35 years and they do little pieces a little

piece here a little piece there put a piece while we need it the people just

go around it we have to have it it's got to get done it's gonna get done now

Congress has to do its duty and the Democrats have to help us they have to

come back to Washington and they have to vote for border security they have to

vote to the safety its national security too they have to come back and app the

boat it'll take us 15 minutes and then we're going to get on to much bigger

immigration reform because we should do that we should do that I want to thank

everybody for being here we're going to have now the rest of the meaning media

thank you very much every day

got the messages that I appreciate their service to the country they are

incredible federal employees that we're talking about but many of them agree

with what I'm saying and what the people in this room were experts are saying

they don't want to see people killed because we can't do a simple border

structure and I appreciate their incredible support we have yesterday it

was I was watching this morning and reading this morning that so many people

are saying the president is doing what's right and even though it's affecting us

short-term temporarily as you know the bill was just passed which I will sign

in Congress making sure that everybody's going to be paid immediately upon when

this is over but I just really appreciate the fact that they have

handled it so incredibly well and many of them agree with what we're doing we

have no choice Steve go ahead no I said I could do it

but it's well I'll tell you what it's the easy way out but Congress should do

this this is too simple it's too basic and Congress should do this if they

can't do it if at some point they just can't do it this is a 15-minute meeting

if they can't do it I will declare a national emergency I have the absolute

right to do it it says as clear as you can now what will happen I'll be soon

it'll be brought to the Ninth Circuit and maybe even though the wording is

unambiguous just like with the travel ban it will be appealed to the Ninth

Circuit and we'll probably lose there too and then hopefully we'll win in the

Supreme Court but that's what happens you can take the most perfectly worded

document as we have in this case and they'll always bring it to the Ninth

Circuit and then you never know what's going to come out of the Ninth Circuit

and you never know what's going to come out on appeal but fortunately we have a

Supreme Court that's triggered us very fairly so I'd rather not do it because

this is something that Congress should easily do this is something that the

Democrats should do and I don't want to give an easy way out of something as

simple as this not only simple it's easy and it's going to secure our cut you

know we have a a country that is under siege you could actually get a lot of

people don't like the word invasion we have a country that's being invaded by

criminals and by drugs and we're going to stop it so I want the Democrats to

come back to Washington and vote thank you very much thank you

thank you god bless you and God bless america

Study Confirms Trump Supporters Completely Lack Compassion For Other Human Beings - Duration: 3:37.

An interesting new piece came out this week from a professor and researcher and lecturer

at the University of Pittsburgh that laid out exactly how and why Trump supporters are

so awful, and as it turns out, based on polling data, based on conversations with these people,

based on tests given to these people and compared to their voting habits, people who support

Donald Trump as a whole tend to lack compassion and empathy for their fellow human beings.

That is what this paper has determined based on all of the empirical evidence available.

Now, here's what I found interesting about this particular paper, first and foremost,

is that a Democrats and Republicans, the average Democrat and the average Republican, uh, typically

have about the same amount of compassion according to the data, you know, they both equally give

charitably, you know, typically on average a donate their time to help the less fortunate

and things like that.

However, the difference in the two, just Democrat and regular Republican, is that Democrats

tend to let their compassion help dictate their political choices.

Whereas Republicans, if their candidate does not specifically mentioned compassion, they're

less likely to let their personal compassion influence their political choices.

Differences, Trump supporters the die hard.

Trump supporters do not have that compassion in their daily life that the typical Republican

does.

According to the paper they do not give charitably, they do not concern themselves with the welfare

of others and they do not wish to see others less fortunate.

Succeed.

They have no compassion.

They are true sociopath's.

Now, the paper does not necessarily use that term, but I am going to use that term because

it is accurate.

They do not view or have any kind of sense of the emotions of others and if they do,

they don't care about them.

Nothing matters outside of the person itself.

That is true sociopathic tendencies among these diehard Donald Trump supporters.

Now, none of this is surprising.

I mean honestly, this is something I have been saying for over a decade at this point

and that is that Republicans do not care about people and this paper does confirm that as

well.

Even the ones who do have compassion in their daily lives, they do not let that compassion

influenced their policies or their political choices that people they vote for.

So what good is compassion in your personal life?

If you're going to go out and vote somebody who says, we're going to kick people off food

stamps, we're going to cut social security.

We're going to burn down this planet and everyone living on the coast is going to suddenly have

to deal with an extra two to three feet of water in their living room.

That's not compassion.

You can't have compassion in one area of your life and not the other.

You can't turn it off and on.

Democrats don't according to the data, but Republicans do, but even those republicans

who can turn it on and off are nowhere near as bad as the die hard Trump supporters who

don't even have an ounce of compassion in them.
