Trump Just Made A Massive Move Against Mueller The Day After Losing The House Of Representatives - Duration: 2:32.

In a stunning turn of events, President Donald Trump abruptly demanded Attorney General Jeff

Sessions resign the morning after the midterm elections, finally making his move against

the man who ultimately failed to fulfill what the President saw as his purpose — protecting

Trump and his team from the consequences of their meddling in the 2016 election and their

alleged collusion with agents of the Russian Federation.

The firing of Sessions paves the way for Trump to appoint a new Attorney General willing

to lick his boots and obey his orders — like Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), for instance — which

would then open the door for the firing of Special Counsel Robert Mueller and the suppression

of the results of his two-year-long investigation into the Donald Trump campaign and administration.

The president has long resented Jeff Sessions for recusing himself from the Trump-Russia

investigation in March 2017 after evidence of his secret meetings with Russian Ambassador

Sergey Kislayak became public knowledge.

"I put in an attorney general who never took control of the Justice Department.

Jeff Sessions, never took control of the Justice Department.

It's sort of an incredible thing," complained Trump in an interview with FOX and Friends'

Ainsley Earhardt.

"Jeff Sessions recused himself, which he shouldn't have done or he should have told

me.

Even my enemies say that Jeff Sessions should have told you that he was going to recuse

himself and then you wouldn't have put him in.

He took my job, and then he said, 'I'm going to recuse myself.'

I said, 'What kind of man is this?'"

Sessions, a notorious white supremacist, knew that his failure to recuse himself would interfere

with his real goal — to use the Justice Department to escalate the "War on Drugs"

and impose his racist agenda on an unwilling populace.

Seeing as Mueller was rumored to be presenting the results of his investigation to the Justice

Department as soon as this afternoon, it's no surprise that Trump is wasting no time

before making his move.

His appalling behavior at this morning's press conference, the reports that the President's

son is likely facing indictment, and the speed at which he's moving indicates that Trump

is terrified about what Mueller is about to do — and makes him appear all the more guilty.

Latin Comic Legend Paul Rodriguez Comes Out as a Trump Supporter! - Duration: 2:19.

Latin Comic legend Paul Rodriguez has come out as a Trump supporter in a new TMZ candid

video.

During an interview with TMZ at the airport, Rodriguez admitted that, even though Trump

says some things "the wrong way," he still supports him, but he prefers to keep politics

out of his comedy act.

Rodriquez went on to say, that he is an immigrant to this country, and that his parents came

here legally.

"I'm an immigrant myself.

My parents came in the right way.

They stood in line for days."

From Yahoo

As for which of Trump's policies resonates with him most, he said, "America should

protect its borders, you know?

I know a lot of Mexican-Americans are going to disagree with me.

It's not that I don't care about the people who obviously want to immigrate to this country,

but you can't let everybody in.

I'm an immigrant myself.

My parents came in the right way.

They stood in line for days."

He continued: "That's very rare to find a Mexican-American who's a Republican.

At least people can look at me and know that it's not that I don't love this country.

I'm an immigrant.

I love this country."

Rodriguez said he was expecting backlash over his comments.

"It's a terrible thing for me to say this," he admitted.

"I will pay the price for it, but as long as we're able to speak our minds, I think

I should have the right to be wrong in your opinion."

And while he also said that "any entertainer shouldn't get into politics because half

of the audience is going to hate you," he broke his own rule — and his most Instagram

was subsequently filled with hate comments about Trump.

For instance:

"Please tell me you aren't a trump supporter?

If so time to unfollow."

"One thing is being republican but another thing is being a trump supporter, I truly

hope you're not a trump supporter or you lost a fan."

"F*** Donald Trump!!!

& F*** YOU TOO!!"

Although Rodriguez is a Trump supporter, he said his vote in 2020 isn't set.

If Trump "says one more thing," then the comedian said he is "really going to change"

his vote.

Democrats Take Back the House, Trump Fires Jeff Sessions - Monologue - Duration: 4:41.

-Let's get to the news.

President Trump held a press conference today

after Democrats took back control of the House.

People thought he would be mad, but I don't know.

I thought he was pretty energetic and upbeat.

-Here we go.

-Well, if you don't mind Mr. President --

-Come on. -This caravan...

-We need the people -- -Your campaign --

-Wait, wait.

That's enough. Put down the mic. You are a rude, terrible person.

-In Jim's defense, I've traveled with him and watched him.

He's a diligent reporter

who busts his butt, like the rest of us.

-Well, I'm not a big fan of your's either.

You aren't the best.

-Why are you pitting Americans against one another, sir?

-Peter, what are you? Trying to be him?

I don't why you'd say that.

It's such a racist question. -There are some people --

-That's such a racist question.

It's a racist question.

I don't know who Lil Jon is. -He was on "The Apprentice."

-I don't know. Oh, he was? Okay. Oh, I see.

Quiet, quiet, quiet.

-Where are you from, please? -Japan.

-Say hello to Shinzo.

-Well, that's definitely a man

who was up all night watching cable news.

That was either a press conference

or a demonstration of every side effect of CHANTIX.

President Trump this afternoon

fired Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Wow. You know it was a rough election for Republicans

when even the ones who weren't running are losing their seats.

That's right. [ Cheers and applause ]

That's right.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions stepped down today.

Apparently, he's been on a stool this whole time.

[ As Sessions ] Little help. Little help.

[ Normal voice ] Attorney General Jeff Sessions

wrote, in a letter to President Trump,

"At your request, I am submitting my resignation."

Okay, but if it's at his request,

then it's not a resignation.

That's like saying that you're breaking up with someone

because you don't like the way they threw you out of the house.

President Trump said today that after last night's election,

the Republicans defied history

and expanded their Senate majority.

Of course, it's easy to defy history

when you literally don't know any of it.

President -- [ Cheers and applause ]

President Trump said this afternoon that he will adopt a

"war-like posture" if House Democrats

move to investigate him personally.

That's right.

He's going to develop bone spurs in his feet.

MSNBC apologized last night for airing footage

of Democratic Senate candidate Beto O'Rourke cursing.

They also apologized for airing footage of Ted Cruz, period.

"We are terribly sorry.

while a coffee chain in America

Trump's Acting Attorney General Helped Run A Business That Defrauded Inventors - Duration: 3:04.

So Matthew Whitaker who is at present our Acting Attorney General after Donald Trump

kind of forced Jeff Sessions to resign.

We've already talked about the fact that Whitaker is a guy that wants to end the Mueller probe.

He has expressedly said so in an op ed, and actually laid out the blueprint for how he

would do it.

Everybody knows about that part though.

But what a lot of people may not know is that Whitaker is also a professional fraudster.

Last year, even before he joined Jeff Session's staff at the DOJ, an op ed ... Not an op ed,

an article came out explaining just what a fraud Matthew Whitaker truly is.

And here's what happened.

Whitaker sat on the Board of Directors, was getting paid on the Board of Directors of

a company called World Patent Marketing.

World Patent Marketing was one of those places that told inventors out there in the United

States send us your idea.

We're going to help you get patented; we're going to help you get marketing; we're going

to help you make this into the next billion-dollar idea here in the United States.

So thousands of wannabe inventors, wannabe, you know, innovators in the United States,

sent their ideas down to this company, paid them thousands of dollars while Whitaker was

sitting on the board and then they did nothing.

They pocketed these people's money, and they didn't do anything.

They did nothing that they promised.

And we know they did nothing that they promised because that's what came out from a Federal

Trade Commission lawsuit against this company.

So the federal government itself had to step in and sue this company that Whitaker was

on the Board of Directors of because they were scamming consumers.

They were scamming people with good ideas because they themselves didn't have any good

ideas and the only way they knew how to make money was to take advantage of people with

good ideas.

It actually gets even worse than just that.

While on the Board of Directors, there was one inventor who submitted a bad review of

the company to the Better Business Bureau.

Whitaker, on the Board of Directors, sent this guy a letter and said the following,

basically he threatened him.

He said, "I am assuming you understanding that there will be serious civil and criminal

consequences for you."

Understand that we take threats like this quite seriously.

He also used his weight as a former prosecutor to try to get this guy to take down his review

or retract it to the Better Business Bureau.

That's what happened.

Okay, the guy realized he got scammed.

Told the BBB and then Whitaker flies off the handle, sends him a letter threatening him

because he exposed what this company was actually doing.

And ladies and gentlemen, this is the man who as of right now and for the short-term

foreseeable future is going to be our Attorney General of the United States.

Hallie Jackson Thinks Dems Will Deliver an Onslaught of Subpoenas to Trump - Duration: 5:25.

-You have made quite an effort to be here,

because I saw you live at 2:00 a.m.

on the White House lawn last night.

That's in D.C. That's not here.

-It's 3 1/2 hours away. -3 1/2 hours away.

So, talk me through -- 'Cause you were on

"The Today Show" this morning. -Right.

-So, what was your schedule, then,

after you wrapped at 2:00 a.m.?

-So, go home, pack a bag, hop a flight,

first shuttle out of Washington to come here, "Today Show,"

I did my show for MSNBC, and I don't know if you heard,

the President held a press conference today.

-Yeah, he did. [ Light laughter ]

-And so, we did special reports for that for NBC News,

2 1/2 hours. This thing was long.

It was his longest press conference ever.

And then, I was doing a pre-interview

with one of your producers for this show,

and Jeff Sessions resigned. -Yeah.

-And then, we hopped off the phone

and went back in it for that.

-There's so much to unpack there.

Let's start with Sessions, in that he did not mention it.

Donald Trump did not mention it

during a hour and a half press conference.

-Well, he was asked... -Yes.

-...about him very specifically. -And yet chose --

But there's obviously something he knew was happening.

What is your take on this? -Yeah.

-What are you hearing from your sources

as far as was this a forced resignation?

-100%, the President asked Jeff Sessions to resign.

Jeff Sessions handed him that resignation letter,

which said, "You asked me to resign.

Here is my resignation letter." [ Laughter ]

This is not surprising. This was expected.

This has been rumored, if you guys follow the news,

rumored for months and months.

That doesn't mean it's not still significant, right?

This is a really sort of critical moment here.

Because if you look at the arc of where Republicans were,

for example, back last year, remember when Lindsey Graham,

the Senator, said, "There will be holy hell to pay

if Donald Trump fires Jeff Sessions."

Lindsey Graham has certainly changed his tune

as Republicans have come to accept, I think,

kind of reluctantly that relationship is just broken.

It's broken beyond repair.

So, what I'm hearing, what we're hearing

from our team at NBC News, is that Jeff Sessions

may not be gone from the political world.

He's considering possibly, per people close to him,

running for his old Senate seat back in Alabama.

-That Doug Jones seat. Right.

-Going up against Doug Jones.

So he may end up back in Washington,

perhaps working with or against President Trump again.

-I don't think he'll ever work against President Trump.

That is my takeaway.

I feel as though most of the Republicans who've shown

any resistance to him ultimately are never going to

truly resist anything Donald Trump tries to do.

-The interesting thing about Jeff Sessions is,

there's a lot of headlines --

Listen, this all matters as it relates --

A lot of it matters as it relates

to the Special Counsel investigation, right?

Which Jeff Sessions recused himself from.

That was, in the eyes of the President, the original sin,

the thing he could never forgive Jeff Sessions for.

But here's the thing -- if you look at the DOJ,

they've actually implemented almost more

than any other agency, Donald Trump's agenda.

-Yeah. -Jeff Sessions has done exactly

what Donald Trump has wanted him to do.

So there's this really interesting, I think,

split or dichotomy between the political sphere,

the political side of it, and then the policy side.

-I want to ask about the fact that Donald Trump --

You know, the Russia investigation

is the reason he fires Jeff Sessions.

Obviously, that's a little bit more stressful for him now

that the Democrats have taken back the House

and they have this power of oversight.

Do you think --

Obviously, based on the press conference today,

it struck me that was a man who was a little stressed out.

Is it likely that that's what stressing him out?

-Part of it, yeah. -Yeah.

-Listen, for the first time, he's now in Washington,

he's inside the White House,

and he is facing a check on his power.

That has not happened for him before.

So, I think he's in this mode where he's looking around,

and that's what we're hearing from folks is --

[ Cheers and applause ]

And he's seeing, "Hey, now Democrats do control

the House of Representatives."

There will be an onslaught of subpoenas,

and that's a hassle for West Wing staffers.

You have to deal with that.

It's paperwork, it's time, it's energy,

and it's also something that Donald Trump knows

is going to be coming.

Now, what he did today was issue, essentially,

a threat to the Democrats.

Like, "Hey, I'll work with you on infrastructure,

I'll work with you on trade, but not if you come at me

about my tax returns," for example.

Nancy Pelosi didn't seem so keen on that when she spoke, so...

-Well the thing I would say why he wouldn't be keen on it,

and this is just based on everything

he's ever said or done, I don't believe

that he's actually gonna be honest on that deal.

Right? Do actually see --

Do you think if Democrats laid off tax returns

he would actually make a deal on infrastructure?

-So, here's what I can say.

This is a president and this is a person --

and I've covered Donald Trump for his campaign, his candidacy,

the transition, the presidency now.

He is somebody who has issued threats

and not always followed through with them,

and that's just the facts of the case.

So there's not a lot of past history to point to

that the President would necessarily follow through

on the threat that's he's making today.

-You've been in a lot of press conferences.

Were you watching today at that mayhem,

and was part of you jealous that you weren't there?

Or were you more super-relieved that you were safely far away?

-Oh, my God. I was crawling out of my skin

making phone calls this morning like, "I got to skip Seth.

I got to go back."

But I had to be in New York anyway for my MSNBC show.

We have an awesome team at NBC News,

and so they were out there repping NBC.

I will say this, though. Watching, and we were sort of

on set doing the analysis piece for NBC News for our stations

throughout the day.

There were moments --

That was tense and uncomfortable.

That's not a hot take.

That's, like, a very lukewarm take.

-Yeah. -A press conference

that is not normal for the East Room, necessarily.

But the attacks on the media and the way that he has

these sort of moments and interactions,

that actually does well for him among his supporters,

and that's something to remember,

that that actually plays for him.

Trump Starts Lashing Out As He Grows More Depressed And Afraid - Duration: 3:22.

According to a new report by Vanity Fair's Gabriel Sherman, Donald Trump is feeling increasingly

depressed and angry.

And this depression/anger was on full display on Wednesday when he gave that disastrous

press conference, screamed at Jim Acosta, told another, I believe it was April Ryan,

told her that her question against him was racist, and not to mention his asking Jeff

Sessions to resign, his erratic behavior all through the day Wednesday was absolutely evidence

that Donald Trump is freaking out internally.

But we didn't even necessarily need all that evidence, because as Gabriel Sherman said,

those in the White House, the people that he's spoken to in the last 48 hours, are easily,

readily available to admit that yeah, Donald Trump is freaking out.

And it's because the Democrats took the House and because the walls are closing in with

the Mueller investigation.

And Trump's not only worried about himself, according to these White House sources that

spoke with Gabriel Sherman, he's also worried about Don Jr.

Because among the circles in the While House, and we had reported on this last week, they're

worried that Don Jr. is going to be the next domino to fall with the entire Mueller investigation,

along with Roger Stone.

There's much less concern about him among the Trump family because he doesn't share

the last name of Trump.

Now Don Jr.'s lawyer says that Don Jr.

Himself has never said that he's worried about going to prison or that he's the next one

to go down, blah, blah, blah.

But those in the White House say Don Jr. and Don Sr. know exactly what's coming.

They know that they cannot continue to hide and that's why we're seeing things like the

resignation of Jeff Sessions, the take-over of the DOJ by Matthew Whitaker, the erratic

behavior at that press conference where he was just lashing out and yelling and insulting

anyone who asked him a question.

Not only is this not normal behavior for a sitting US President, it's also just not normal

behavior.

I mean, we have to stop looking at what Trump is doing and saying, "This isn't Presidential."

We need to start saying, "This isn't how a rational human being operates."

Because that's what we're dealing with right now.

It's not just a difference of opinion.

It's a difference of morality and humanity at this point.

Donald Trump appears to be losing his mind over all of the bad things that are coming

his way, because he's been such a horrible human being.

Things are going to get much worse.

The firing of Jeff Sessions was the beginning, not the end, not the middle.

It's the beginning.

Over the next few days, expect more shoes to drop.

But as I've pointed out multiple times, Mueller has his bases covered.

He's farmed out a lot of the prosecutions.

There's a lot of sealed indictments that we do not yet know about, and there's little

that this administration can do to stop or even put the brakes on this entire investigation.

And I think Trump knows that and I think that's one of the biggest reasons he's freaking out

right now.

Mass Protests Planned After Trump Fires Jeff Sessions To Hinder Mueller Probe - Duration: 3:44.

Shortly after the mid-terms concluded, or at least most of the races concluded on Wednesday,

Donald Trump announced that Matthew Whitaker was going to be the new acting Attorney General

for the United States because he had asked Jeff Sessions to resign.

Now, Donald Trump has had beef against Jeff Sessions since the day that Jeff Sessions

recused himself from the Muller investigation.

In fact, that whole thing is the reason we even had to have a special prosecutor in the

first place, because Jeff Sessions couldn't and wouldn't do it.

Literally, the one good thing this man ever did in office, and he just paid for it with

his job.

Had he been corrupt as well, or least as corrupt as every other member of this administration

in the cabinet, he'd still have a job.

But again, decides to do one good thing in his life and then pays for it with the best

job he ever had.

But nonetheless, in response to the firing of Sessions, there are mass protests taking

place today at 5:00pm local time, depending on where your timezone is.

It's supposed to be 5:00pm across the board.

But these protests are not to mourn the loss of Jeff Sessions, no.

These protests are to protect Robert Muller and the office of the special prosecutor's

investigation into Donald Trump.

Because here's the thing, the reason Jeff Sessions had to go, again, is because he recused

himself and Donald Trump wants this investigation to go away.

He had repeatedly called on Sessions to end.

But, oh no, he's recused himself.

He's a coward.

He's weak.

He's harmful to this administration.

Donald Trump hated Jeff Sessions, because of that on decision, so he decided to get

rid of him, replaces him with Sessions' chief of staff, Matthew Whitaker, a guy who actually

wrote an op-ed explaining exactly how he would get rid of Robert Muller just a year and a

half ago.

And here is exactly what he'd do.

He wants to defund it.

He wants to pull all the money out of it, so that they can't go any further than they

already have.

There's nothing illegal about that, and there's certainly nothing that's gonna show the public

like, "Well, I didn't end it.

I just had to cut their funding because it's costing us so damn much money."

Something Donald Trump himself has been tweeting about.

So, they think they can use this as a better avenue to halt the investigation without,

technically, halting it.

Well, the good news is, I'm pretty sure you could find plenty of wealthy donors out there

willing to give some money to help this investigation continue.

I mean, after all, George Soros pays all the protestors, so I'm sure he could pay enough

to keep this investigation going.

I'm kidding about that, but that's just how silly republican conspiracy theories get.

But nonetheless, people are afraid right now and they have every right to be.

We are witnessing what many have called the slow motion Saturday night massacre, getting

rid of Jeff Sessions was just the first step.

And remember, the reason Rod Rosenstein was even in charge of that investigation was because

Session recused himself.

But now, Whitaker's in charge.

Rosenstein is no longer overseeing it, and Whitaker is going to have full control over

what happens from this point forward.

He should recuses himself, but he won't recuse himself.

Because he know if he does, that's the end of his job as well.

These protests are important.

These protests that are happening today show us that the American public is not going to

sit by while this administration continues to dismantle the rule of law in the United

States.
