Trump news on Youtube Nov 5 2018

If you've been watching the media's coverage of the migrant caravans, you'd be forgiven

for thinking that the average American would be wildly against sending troops to the border

to stop these aspiring illegal immigrants from creating some sort of ruckus.

Oh, except you're not really supposed to call them illegal immigrants.

"Migrants," really.

Or "refugees," fleeing from a life of deprivation in Honduras — a deprivation

so great they can't even seek asylum in neighboring countries like Mexico or Guatemala,

they have to come here.

The point is that nobody with a heart would encourage using American troops to enforce

border laws and if you're for something like that, you're obviously heartless.

That was the accepted party line in the mainstream media.

And then someone went and did a poll and screwed it all up.

According to a survey released by Zogby on Friday, a clear 57 percent of likely voters

think that sending troops to the border to stop the caravan is a good idea.

That would be enough of a surprise by itself, but here's another kicker: Over half of

Hispanics also agree with the plan.

President Trump has thus far proposed up to 15,000 troops to secure the southern border.

The first wave is arriving to reinforce the international bridge in Hidalgo, Texas, according

to NBC News.

"We'll go up to anywhere between 10,000 and 15,000 military personnel on top of border

patrol, ICE, and everybody else at the border.

Nobody's coming in," the president told reporters.

So, what do Americans think of this?

"A new Zogby Analytics nationwide survey of 866 likely voters, with a margin of error

of +/-3.3%, conducted 10/30/18-10/31/18, shows a majority (57%) of Americans support the

military's decision to send thousands of troops to the border to prevent a migrant

caravan, numbered in the thousands, from entering the U.S. illegally.

More than two in five disagree with the military deployment to the border," Zogby reported.

"Among political parties, Democrats were most likely to disagree (69%), but 31% of

Democrats did agree with sending troops to the U.S. – Mexico border," the survey

noted.

"Republicans overwhelmingly support (91%) sending the military to the border.

Independents were also in support of sending the military (53%), while 47% disagreed.

Men were much more supportive–43% strongly agreed, and 66% agreed overall (strongly and

somewhat agree combined).

Women were split 50/50 on the deployment of troops."

But here was the kicker, at least for people hoping identity politics would carry the day.

"Ethnicity was another area where there was more agreement than expected.

A majority of African-Americans disagree (59%) compared to 41% who agree," Zogby noted.

"Interestingly, 51% of Hispanic respondents agree with the deployment of troops to the

border to halt the migrant caravan; slightly less than half (49%) disagree.

Also, 30% of Hispanics strongly agree compared to 28% who strongly disagree.

"It must also be noted that the sample of Hispanic respondents carries a larger margin

of error (+/-10%), but nonetheless, the numbers do represent a significant finding."

The poll also found that support was fairly even across geographic regions:

"Majorities of voters in the east, south, and central regions (56-62% agree/38-44% disagree)

supported the deployment of troops.

The only region where there was a majority who disagreed was in the west (51% disagree/49%

agree)."

The poll did note that younger voters tended to disagree with the decision to send troops

while older voters agreed with it.

In that regard, however, I'm reminded of that Winston Churchill quote about being young

and conservative or old and liberal.

Either way, the Zogby survey is proof yet again that the media narrative on what America

thinks regarding illegal immigration simply doesn't match up with the facts.

Americans want our border laws enforced; that's why the laws are there in the first place.

We've seen this over and over again with issues like the border wall and amnesty.

When will the media finally admit that their take on the issue doesn't line up with reality?

Sarah Sanders Is Asked How Christians Can Support Trump, Gives Best Answer We've Ever Heard - Duration: 3:19.

Far-left Democrats have made their general disdain for Christianity very well known.

It's no secret to anyone who has even remotely kept up with their narrative in recent years.

Despite that, leftists like to bring up Christianity as some sort of barometer when criticizing

conservatives — and especially when criticizing anyone who supports President Donald Trump.

To the surprise of nobody, many liberals and Democrats only seems to applaud the merits

of Christianity when the faith can be used to attack conservatives and Republicans.

In fairness, that line of liberal thinking has certainly befuddled some Christians.

Do devout Christians sometimes struggle with supporting an organization or person who can

at times do or say un-Christian things?

While that can certainly be hard for some to answer, it was no problem for White House

press secretary Sarah Sanders.

In fact, it may be the best response I've ever heard.

In a recently published interview with the New Yorker, Sanders perfectly responded to

any and all critics who claim Christians can't work in or support the Trump administration.

"Frankly, if people of faith don't get involved in the dirty process, then you're

missing the entire point of what we're called to do," Sanders said.

Honestly, had Sanders simply stopped right there, it would have been a simply great answer.

Of course, she elaborated on the issue to further cement her point.

The New Yorker cited Trump's alleged sexual encounter with a porn star as one of the reasons

why many outsiders condemned Christians who hold high positions in the Trump administration.

Sanders again had the perfect response.

"I'm not going to my office expecting it to be my church," she said.

Again, this is a very valid point.

For many Americans and Christians, work is a wholly separate place from church.

Even if work involves unsavory accusations, Sanders is 100 percent correct to say that

believing in Christianity means she should be wanting to go into work to spread the good

word.

"You're not called to go into the places where everyone already thinks like you and

is a believer — you have to go onto a stage where they're not," Sanders said.

Sanders did clarify that she was not speaking directly about the White House, but rather

her mission as a Christian in general.

"You have to take that message into the darkest places, and the dirtiest places, and

the most tainted and dysfunctional places.

If you can influence even one person, that's what you're supposed to do," she added.

When the New Yorker writer Paige Williams pointed out that she thought Trump specifically

needed the most help, Sanders didn't miss a beat.

"We all need help," Sanders responded.

"That's the whole basis of Christianity.

No one is perfect.

We are all sinners."

That, in particular, seems to be the biggest point the media is missing.

Nobody is perfect, and Sanders clearly realizes that.

The mainstream media that's so intent on attacking the Trump administration that it

seems blind to its own flaws ought to remind itself of that every once in a while.

Donald Trump Jr Rips Apart Baldwin over Arrest 'Piece of Garbage' - Duration: 1:59.

Donald Trump Jr. slammed actor Alec Baldwin after the comedian was arrested for allegedly

punching a man during a parking spot dispute.

Unlike his father, the younger Trump isn't taking the news of Baldwin's arrest in a

benevolent spirit, going to Twitter to call the actor a "piece of garbage."

"Is anyone shocked at this piece of garbage anymore?" Trump Jr. tweeted on Friday, linking

to an article about Baldwin's arrest.

"As if the phone calls to his daughter weren't bad enough.

He's a lib so he gets chance after chance to be decent but always fails!" Trump Jr.

added.

Trump Jr.'s tweet referred to an incident in 2007 when Baldwin made headlines for berating

and threatening his then 11-year-old daughter in a voicemail.

Baldwin's temper is famous in itself, and the actor has been accused of or arrested

for assault in the past.

After news of his most recent arrest, others shared their experiences of interacting with

him.

President Donald Trump, however, simply wished Baldwin luck after hearing of his arrest.

This comes despite Baldwin being one of the president's loudest Hollywood critics — a

title that has some pretty fierce competition.

Baldwin won an Emmy last year for playing the president on "Saturday Night Live,"

a portrayal which the president has joked was an "agony for those who were forced

to watch."

While witnesses and the alleged victim say Baldwin punched another man over a parking

spot before the arrest, Baldwin has denied this, calling reports of his arrest "egregiously

misstated."

Baldwin was released from the New York Police Department's 6th Precinct on Friday afternoon.

He was charged with assault and harassment.

Obama Shows Up In Miami & Tries To Be Trump, Hecklers Teach Him Nasty Lesson - Duration: 4:11.

Former President Barack Obama flew to Florida on Friday, where he spoke at a Miami rally

for Sen. Bill Nelson and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum.

Apparently, he was still trying to be president even though his time in the White House ended

nearly two years ago.

Obama lectured voters about health care, hate, and rhetoric.

However, it wasn't long before several fed-up hecklers taught him a nasty lesson.

Barack Obama's rally in Miami on Friday was stalled multiple times by angry hecklers

who were tired of hearing the former president pontificate on issues that he did a poor job

of handling himself when he was the one in the Oval Office.

As he rallied for Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum, Obama could barely finish a

sentence without being interrupted.

Barack Obama seemed visibly annoyed by hecklers several times during a Friday rally in Miami

for Florida Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum.

In one instance, the former president stopped and told hecklers to "go support the other

candidates" and "don't come holler in here."

[Source: The Daily Caller]

"So these are all the reasons I've come down to Miami," said Obama.

"But the real reason I came down to Miami because this Tuesday might be the most important

election of our lifetimes.

Politicians will always say that, but this time it's actually true.

The stakes really are that high.

The consequences of any of us staying home really are more dangerous.

Because America is at a crossroads …"

Interrupted by hecklers at this point, Obama addressed them by asking why they were at

"my rally."

Of course, the rally was not for Obama at all; he is not campaigning for office.

However, the fact that he considered Gillum's rally to be his own speaks volumes about his

narcissism.

"Hold on a second," said Obama.

"Hold on a second.

Listen.

Here's the deal.

Here's the deal.

If you support the other candidates, then you should go support the other candidates.

Don't be here.

I never — one of the things I never understood was why if you're supporting the other guy,

you come to my rally?

Go to their rally.

Go talk about what you're for.

Don't come holler in here.

Where was I?"

At another point, Obama said the hecklers were acting from an "old playbook … one

that the powerful and the privileged turn to whenever control starts slipping away."

And, during a third instance, Obama said he looks "forward" to a "few hecklers to

get [him] back in the mood" of campaigning.

President Donald Trump also held a rally on Friday, and it was much better attended than

Obama's gathering.

"I heard President Obama speak today.

He had a very small crowd, I have to be honest.

They don't tell you that.

You know they don't tell you that," Trump said.

"We had in Houston, we had the biggest thing you've ever seen and they were saying, 'Donald

Trump spoke today in front of a few thousand people — a few thousand.

We had over a hundred thousand people that wanted to come.

We had 22,000 people in the arena," Trump said in reference to his Houston, Texas, rally

on behalf of Sen. Ted Cruz.

"But I heard President Obama speak today.

I had to listen I was in the plane and I had nothing else to do.

And I heard him talk about telling the truth.

He was talking about, 'You have to tell the truth,' and yet 28 times he said you

can keep your doctor, if you like your doctor.

You can keep your plan, if you like your plan.

They're all lies, over and over again you heard that," said Trump.

If it were up to Barack Obama, he'd still be President of the United States.

But, unfortunately for Obama and his liberal cronies, Donald Trump has systematically dismantled

the destructive policies they put in place.

Be sure to vote red this week so that we can keep this momentum going.

Republican Trump Supporter Takes Commanding Lead in CA House Race - Duration: 3:20.

A new poll that was released on Friday shows incumbent Republican Rep. Dana Rohrabacher

with a commanding 9-point lead over his Democrat challenger Harley Rouda.

The poll comes with just 2 days to go before the 2018 midterm elections.

Rohrabacher has been one of President Trump's staunchest supporters.

From FreeBeacon

Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R., Calif.) has run up a nine-point lead over Democratic challenger

Harley Rouda in his traditionally conservative Orange County district that Democrats are

heavily targeting this year.

The strong margin for Rohrabacher, coming just days before Tuesday's midterm elections,

has political analysts declaring the district a "firewall" to the Democrats' predictions

of a blue wave rushing through California and sweeping Democrats into the House majority.

"While California overall breaks in favor of Democrats and against [President] Trump,

CA-48 is proving to be the firewall holding back the blue wave," TPStrat Research's

John Thomas said of the polling data, which the firm conducted Oct. 18 through Oct. 31.

Despite TPStrat's statewide generic ballot revealing a heavy Democratic advantage in

the midterm elections throughout the state, "thus far, the 48th [Congressional District]

appears to be immune to such negative gravity.

Trump is popular, Republicans are winning the generic ballot and there is a slight edge

for the amount of voters who want Trump's agenda to be pushed in Congress," he said

in his analysis.

"This seat is proving reliably red," he added.

The survey was paid for and commissioned independent of any campaign or committee, the firm said.

With the latest positive economic news, Trump's approval rating is at 56 percent in the district,

and a generic ballot gives Republicans a 10 percent advantage over Democrats.

The survey also showed that 49 percent of voters in the district want Congress to support

Trump's agenda.

Rohrabacher has maintained this 9 percent lead for two weeks in a row, at the same time

Trump's approval ratings averaged 55 percent.

The new polling is a splash of cold water on Democratic hopes to oust Rohrabacher, an

eccentric libertarian and Trump ally who has held the seat for nearly 30 years.

Earlier this week, the Los Angeles Times ran a story with the headline, "In deepest red

Orange County, a blue flame is sparking in a district that has long supported Rep. Rohrabacher."

Despite his personal wealth and telegenic appearance, Rouda has not attracted the groundswell

of Democratic support many party operatives expected.

He has been hit with a series of negative ads for firing a cancer victim from the real-estate

firm he previously ran and sold to make his millions.

The firm also failed to disclose to franchisees of the real-estate company that a jury in

2008 had sided with the 57-year-old cancer patient and awarded her $1.85 million, the

Washington Free Beacon reported.

Trump Sent Unapologetic Message To Entire World That Could Erase Obama From History - Duration: 7:17.

We are truly living in historic times in Israel's history.

We are watching history unfold before our eyes, one that is cause for great celebration

around the world.

Not only has President Donald Trump chosen to withdraw from the disastrous Obama Iran

nuclear deal, but we are on the eve of the momentous opening of the American embassy

in Jerusalem – a move that recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and a move greatly

appreciated by the people of Israel and most Jews in the world.

Although most presidents we have seen during our lifetimes have promised to do what's

right and recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel President Donald Trump did and today

our new embassy in the Capital City of Jerusalem is now officially opened for business.

With this move, along with last week's move of withdrawing the U.S. from the debacle that

was the Iran Nuclear deal which Obama put together during his weak presidency, President

Trump has shown the world that America is back.

And we aren't about to take a secondary role ever again.

With Obama's Iran deal he destroyed 70 years of bipartisan U.S. foreign policy in the Middle

East.

His delusional deal abandoned Israel and Egypt and alienated the Sunni Muslims in the moderate

Arab states.

By making sure they all would have to deal with a nuclear Iran.

Iran is the leading state sponsor of terror and exports dangerous missiles while it supports

terrorist proxies and militias like Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Taliban all over the world.

The idea that Iran ever sought a peaceful nuclear energy program is absurd and 100%

illogical.

And even worse, when Obama decided to ignore the slaughter of Christians and the so-called

red line in Syria which he himself drafted, he opened the door for Russia to become a

dominant regional player in the Middle East.

How's that for Russian Collusion?

Here is more on this month's events via Fox News:

"We are at a truly historic moment in Israel's history, one that is cause for great celebration.

Not only has President Donald Trump chosen to withdraw from the disastrous Obama Iran

nuclear deal, but we are on the eve of the momentous opening of the American embassy

in Jerusalem – a move that recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and a move greatly

appreciated by the people of Israel.

President Trump's pullout from the Iran deal, although expected, became a virtual

certainty when Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu proved through Israel's intelligence agency

Mossad that Iran had been lying to the world as it continued to enrich uranium and develop

nuclear weapons.

Iranian documents uncovered by that same intel agency are proof positive that Iran lied.

Iran?

Lie?

Shock.

On Tuesday, the day of the withdrawal, bomb shelters opened up in the Golan Heights and

the Israeli army was on high alert as Israel braced for imminent attack.

In Israel, as we proceeded from Haifa to the Golan Heights, there were no sirens.

School buses and taxis continued to run.

In Tiberias at night, we heard the undeniable sound of rockets.

At breakfast, we found out that that indeed there had been an Iranian rocket offensive

toward Israel from inside Syria.

Israel responded with strategic precision, targeting Iranian munitions storage warehouses,

logistics headquarters and intel systems within its proxy Syria.

Israel does what Israel needs to do.

He not only sends a message to Iran but to Russia as well, that the U.S. is back as a

dominant regional player after the Obama years.

He recognizes the reality that everyone else in the west willingly blinds themselves to

– and that is that Jerusalem is the one and only capital of Israel.

On Saturday, Iranians marched against the United States, protesting President Trump's

decision to withdraw from their nuclear deal.

Maybe they should consider protesting that the $150 billion Obama gave them in cash wasn't

used to benefit them, but instead to support both Iran's nuclear development as well

as its military budget which has grown by almost 40 percent.

Obama's Iran deal destroyed 70 years of bipartisan U.S. foreign policy in the Middle

East.

His delusional deal abandoned Israel and Egypt, the largest Arab country, and alienated the

Sunni Muslims in the moderate Arab states, guaranteeing they would face a nuclear Iran.

Iran, the leading state sponsor of terror, exports dangerous missiles and supports terrorist

proxies and militias like Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Taliban.

The idea that it seeks a peaceful nuclear energy program is absurd to anyone with even

half a brain.

And as Obama turned his back on the slaughter of Christians and ignored his own red line

in the Syria sand, he allowed Russia through this vacuum to become a dominant regional

player in the Middle East.

Donald Trump's withdrawal from that deal was the United States standing shoulder to

shoulder with our ally Israel against the rest of the world.

It sent a huge signal to Iran and Shia Muslims that we stood with the more moderate Sunnis.

And although Great Britain and France had joined the United States earlier in taking

out a Syrian weapons facility, they chose this time to stand with Iran against Israel

and the United States.

Trump has reassured the world that his word is worth more than former U.S. presidents

Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Obama, all of whom made the promise to move the American

embassy to Jerusalem.

His word is worth more than any treaty and stronger than any UN resolution.

He promised and he delivered.

He not only sends a message to Iran but to Russia as well, that the U.S. is back as a

dominant regional player after the Obama years.

He recognizes the reality that everyone else in the west willingly blinds themselves to

– and that is that Jerusalem is the one and only capital of Israel.

Trump is simply putting his imprimatur on what has been history in the last 2500 years:

that Jerusalem has only been the capital of one people's country or kingdom, and that

people is the Jews.

And that country is and was Israel.

The empires that tried to destroy Israel and its capitol Jerusalem are long gone, yet the

Jews still speak the same language and practice the same religion, which is the foundation

of our own Judeo-Christian nation.

Donald Trump sent Iranians who are the descendants of Persia a message to reflect on their own

history, and that it was the king of Persia who, 1000 years before Mohammad was even born,

said that Jerusalem was the capital of the Jewish people's country.

There will be no Ottoman empires or Shia nations that will destroy Jerusalem any longer.

Donald Trump recognized history.

He, like King Cyrus before him, fulfilled the biblical prophecy of the gods worshipped

by Jews, Christians and, yes, Muslims, that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish

state and that the Jewish people deserve a righteous, free and sovereign Israel."

After Obama Calls Trump A Liar, The Don Slams The Hammer Of Justice - Duration: 1:27.

Former President Barack Obama is nothing if not arrogant.

He showed that trait on the campaign trail again this week while stumping for Democrats

in the midterm elections.

While campaigning, Obama spread falsehoods about President Trump, claiming he lies, fear-mongers

and is full of anger and hatred.

Projection much?

The one thing that Obama excels at is lying and twisting the facts.

But if you'll notice now that he is not a big man on campus he's no longer the silver-tongued

political devil he used to be.

He deceptively has his audience filmed because not many people show up to hear him speak

anymore and a number of those who do heckle him.

Trump slammed a squeaky Obama over his lies once again.

The Patriot Journal has more on this:

President Trump has kept his promises, no one should be able to deny that.

And yet, sore loser Barack Obama, seeing his legacy destroyed before his eyes, is running

around the country trying to save the midterms for Democrats.

Too bad his crowds are tiny compared to Trump's.

But the mainstream media is playing Obama's rally over and over, and how he blames Trump

for lies and fear-mongering.

Laid off workers shutdown hecklers at Trump rally - Duration: 10:05.

- We are here at Donald Trump's rally,

as you can see, here in Murphysboro, Illinois.

And we're with a delegation of workers-

- President Donald Trump!

- From all-

- The only president that has done anything for our country!

[Crowd Shouts]

- President Trump!

- We're at a rally here in Murphysboro, Illinois.

Obviously, some people don't want the stories

of what's happening to real world

Americans to be told

and we want to make sure

the real story of what's happening to

hardworking Americans is told.

Donald Trump's traveling the country

saying that jobs are pouring back.

He's saying, "The economy is booming."

That, "Wages are going up."

But the living reality of workers is very different.

These are workers who work at Harley Davidson.

They work at Honeywell.

They work at GM.

Yet they have lost their jobs.

- Donald Trump is the only person

that is stopping the offshoring.

- Oh, really?

Hey, can I interview you?

- Yeah, you sure can.

- Dena, come over! This is great. Okay.

So, would you mind...

You can put the sign down so we can see your face.

- No, I'm not puttin' the sign down.

- You want to cover your face?

- Yeah, I do. I want Donald Trump's face on the front.

- Well, that's not really an interview then.

But we'd love to have a conversation with you.

- You can interview me. I'm a coal miner.

- I'm sorry, you said Donald Trump's stopping offshoring.

- He is.

- Okay. So, how do you know that?

- How do I know that?

How do I not know that?

What's he brought back to our country?

- Where did my job go?!

- Look at the stock market, ma'am!

The stock market is at record numbers!

- It's actually tanking.

- He's brought trillions back to America.

- So, let me tell you...

Let Dena.

Just in the spirit of Democratic dialogue.

So, Dena tell us a little bit about your story

and what you would like to share

with this gentleman about your experience, your life.

- Yeah. I worked at AT&T for 22 and a half years.

- What year were you laid off?

- No. Please let her talk.

- Let me finish.

The trainers were sent to the Philippines

to train people to do customer service.

30 days later the CEO of AT&T mobility

came and told us we no longer have jobs.

He closed the center.

They sold the building.

Even the trainers were surplussed.

The Philippines took our jobs.

So, don't tell me they were brought back!

- So, Dena after you lost your job,

how did you rebound?

And how much were you making?

- I was making $22.50 an hour.

I was sixty years old.

Never collected unemployment.

Then I had to collect unemployment

and I got a minimum wage job.

- Who was the President then, ma'am?

- That was starting in 2014 and I started-

- 2014 under Barack Obama!

- That's a good point.

That's a good point.

No, no. That's an excellent point, brother.

- And it's continued!

- But here's the problem, AT&T has

gotten 900 billion dollars in federal contracts

under the Trump Administration.

Over 7000 people this year alone laid off.

So, do you think our tax payer dollars

should go to companies like AT&T

that are shipping jobs overseas?

That's a simple question.

'Cause that's why we're here.

No American tax dollars for companies

that ship jobs overseas.

You can agree with that.

- AT&T isn't just overseas.

- No. But you agree-

- AT&T also employs hundreds of thousands of Americans.

- No, no. But I'm saying should our money

go to companies that offshore American jobs?

- It's been goin' on for how long?

- So, you don't believe that?

- The only person that is taking steps-

- You think-

- To bring the jobs back.

[Crowd Cheers]

- So, the President-

- You guys don't want to see it.

You just want to keep crying and hollering,

"Oh, it happened in 2014

and it wasn't under Donald Trump,

but it's all his fault!"

- But it's still happening!

- But seven thousand layoffs and the President

could stop it right now with a stroke of the pen.

He's signed 100 executive orders.

He signed 100 executive orders.

And you're right, Barack Obama

did not sign an executive order to stop offshoring

- Obama didn't do anything!

- Hey, please stop.

[Crowd Shouts]

But here's the thing, that's right,

President Obama did not, I'll give that to you,

but Donald Trump has yet to sign

an executive order to say no tax dollars

for companies that ship jobs.

Shouldn't he do that?

Are you guys with us?

I wanted Obama to do it!

He didn't!

- My job was saved, because of President Trump.

I'm a coal miner.

Thousands of my friends got laid off.

I was one of the last coal miners-

[Crowd Shouts]

- I can totally understand why you're mad,

if your company went to another country,

because of the cheap labor or whatever.

- We want everyone to have a job back.

I'm glad you got your job back

and we want to make sure people like

Tommy Wolikow gets his job back.

So, Tommy worked at the GM plant

in Lordstown, Ohio for a decade.

So do you want to tell us a little bit

about what happened at GM Lordstown?

When were you laid off?

- I was laid off the same day

President Trump got inaugurated.

General Motors is very, very important to me.

My dad retired 42 years out there

and I worked there nine years.

I met my fiance out there.

Well, the day that President Trump

was inaugurated was my last day of work.

I was thinking in my head,

"This is probably gonna just be a little lay off.

We're gonna be back."

Almost two years later, I'm still laid off work.

But the main thing is, I went

to a President Trump rally in Youngstown, Ohio.

- You were a Trump supporter?

- Yes. Yes. I'm a Trump supporter.

President Trump said, "Don't sell your homes.

Jobs are gonna be rolling back in.

Steel mills are gonna be opened up that are closed."

And everything that he was saying,

I literally was like, "Yeah!"

I felt it.

I believed in it.

But guess what?

Two years later I've watched General Motors

close third shift down, second shift down.

Magna Seating closed third and second shift down.

I've watched Kmart close.

Sears close.

Toys"R"Us close.

All in my area. I've watched so much job loss.

And I'm here today not to fight with you guys,

to say, "Come on, President Trump!

We need your help.

We need your help in our community,

because our community is in shambles.

We have job loss.

We have the fourth highest unemployment rate

in the whole state of Ohio, Trumbull County.

We're here to ask for help."

- Tommy, you were laid off and your wife

also worked at GM, she was laid off.

So, what's it like?

What is she doing now and what's it like making ends meet?

- We both went from having great union jobs

to me, just graduated, and I got a diesel

technician degree and I got a CDL.

I went back to school.

I did what I knew I had to do.

- There's thousands of truck jobs available.

- Okay, but guess what?

- You don't have to leave Ohio-

- Hey, please be respectful!

- No, I don't want to leave Ohio,

because I have a daughter that's eleven years old

that I see every weekend.

Anytime I try to talk to her about...

Anytime I talk to my daughter about transferin'

she cries and she says she doesn't want me to leave.

I bet you guys can relate to that, right?

- We can, but you know what? I did it.

- I got two kids.

- Hey, Tommy, tell me what is it like?

- We went from being able to-

- What is your wife doing?

- She is working at Cracker Barrel making $4.15 an hour.

- And what was she making before?

- $20 an hour.

I was making 26.

- She's making how much?

- $4.15 plus tips an hour at Cracker Barrel.

She's a waitress.

And I got dozens of applications in.

I'm waiting for a phone call.

I've put the footwork in.

I went to school.

I got the degrees.

I put the applications in and I'm still waiting.

- What was the message you delivered to the Trump campaign?

- We let them know what was goin' on in our community.

We let them know that there's 3000 of us UAW auto workers.

Plus a trickle effect another seven to ten thousand

other people effected right now

and we believe that you guys have the power

to be able to do something, we're hoping.

You're the President of the United States.

We're hopin' that you can help our community.

- Have you gotten a response from the Trump

Administration or from Brad Parscale?

- Not yet, no we haven't.

- And that's why you're here,

is that not right?

- Yeah. We're here to say, "Hey, you told us

that you were gonna communicate

what we said to you to President Trump,

you talk to him on a daily basis,

and we haven't heard anything yet.

And we're waiting.

The email address that we gave you is still the same."

- I promise you this is a way for me to have a platform

to say, "Our community's in shambles and we need help."

- Trump is the one that's gonna help you.

- Why do you think I'm here?

- I'm very impressed that you're here.

- That's why I'm here.

- You know what? Taking the hat tells me

that I'm impressed that you are a man of your word.

- Yeah, I am. I am a man of my word.

- I am very impressed. Very impressed.

- Good hugs. Let's hug it out.

- That's cool man, that's very cool.

- So, we're here in Murphysboro, Illinois

having some amazing conversations with people

from all over the Midwest about the state of the economy.

We had a coal miner who said,

"Man, things are great for his family."

And we're so happy that that's true.

And then we had some other random protesters who...

didn't make a lot of sense,

but that being said, very healthy energetic debate.

Nothing violent.

It's actually constructive conversation

between the folks who are here,

who traveled to be here with Good Jobs Nation.

And the thousands of Trump supporters that are here.

Stop Blaming Everything on Donald Trump | We The Internet TV - Duration: 1:40.

Stop blaming everything on Donald Trump.

Gabriel Sherman at Vanity Fair described Trump's America as a vicious and divided place,

where a man in his 60s walked into Sherman's 15-month-old daughter

knocking her to the ground with a bloody nose.

Now, that is awful.

But Donald Trump is not responsible for the actions of that rude man,

nor is he responsible for what happened next.

When Sherman rushed over and picked her up,

the old man casually walked away as Sherman's daughter wailed.

Sherman said, "Sir, excuse me. How about an apology?"

And then the guy's nasty rich wife said,

"Well, how about you apologize to us?"

Hold on, this old man gave your daughter a bloody nose,

and all you did was say, "Sir, excuse me. How about an apology?"

And you tweeted that story out?

You didn't even make something up to make yourself look good?

Like, "Yeah, man, it took two guys and the spirit of FDR to hold me back from annihilating that guy."

Who do you think you're winning over to your side, man?

Blaming Donald Trump for your lack of testicular fortitude?

Hey, a little toxic masculinity can go a long way when defending your infant daughter and appealing to voters.

Exhibits A through Z: Donald Trump.

Come on, bro, wear the pussy hat. Don't be the pussy hat.

Hey guys, thanks for watching.

Rihanna's Music Used at Trump Rally: "Not For Much Longer," She Says | Billboard News - Duration: 1:33.

Please DO stop the music! That's what Rihanna's shouting after word broke

that President Donald Trump is apparently a member of the superstar's Navy!

"America is winning again because we are finally putting America first!"

It all started when the Washington Post's Philip Rucker tweeted out...

Everyone...except for Rihanna. Rucker then achieved what so many of us have tried

and failed to attain - a reply from Riri on Twitter..

Philip then plays it cool, considering the biggest singer in the world just quote

retweeted him, basically restating what Rihanna just said in her original tweet.

Sunday proved to be an eventful day in the world of politics for Rihanna as just

hours prior to the Twitter exchange, the woman who gave us Umbrella-Ella-Ella-ay

publicly endorsed a Democratic candidate for Governor of Florida.

It wasn't just Rihanna taking issue with Trump's rally playlists. Axl Rose was also

upset with the President over using loopholes to blast Guns 'N Roses at his events

as well.
