Trump news on Youtube Nov 3 2018

A federal judge has denied the Justice Department's efforts to halt legal proceedings in a case accusing President Donald Trump of violating the US Constitution – opening the door for Trump's critics to soon gain access to financial records related to his Washington, DC, hotel

Trump has been fighting multiple lawsuits that argue that foreign representatives' spending money at the Trump International Hotel is a violation of the Constitution's emoluments clause, which bans federal officials from accepting benefits from foreign or state governments without congressional approval

In a bid to prevent the case moving on to legal discovery – which would potentially unearth financial records such as Trump's income tax returns – Justice Department lawyers had asked Maryland-based US District Judge Peter J

Messitte to put the case on hold while they appeal his decision to a higher court in Richmond, Virginia

That effort failed. "This is another major win for us in this historic case," said District of Columbia Attorney General Karl A Racine in a statement

"Our next step is to proceed with discovery. We will soon provide the court a new schedule to begin the process of getting information about how President Trump is profiting from the presidency

" Messitte wrote in a sometimes blistering 31-page opinion released on Friday that the president did not sufficiently meet the requirements for an appeal midway through the ongoing case

"It is clear that the president, unhappy with the court's reasoning and conclusion, merely reargues that his interpretation of the emoluments clauses should apply instead of the one the court gave," he wrote

"The court sees no point in stating again why it concluded as it did." But, Messitte said, merely disagreeing with the court doesn't constitute a required "substantial" reason for such an appeal

Justice Department spokeswoman Kelly Laco told The Associated Press that the department "disagrees with and is disappointed" by Messitte's ruling

She added: "This case, which should have been dismissed, presents important questions that warrant immediate appellate review

" Justice Department lawyers had objected to any discovery on a sitting president in his official capacity because of separation of powers concerns, in order to avoid a "constitutional confrontation" between two branches of government

They argued that the "public interest is decidedly in favour of a stay because any discovery would necessarily be a distraction to the President's performance of his constitutional duties

The Nigerian Army Just Used Trump's Speech To Justify A Massacre Of Peaceful Protester - Duration: 2:43.

The critical role that the United States plays in setting the standards of acceptable behavior

across the world was made disturbingly clear on Friday when President Trump's viciously

cruel ramblings against innocent migrants were used to justify atrocities committed

by other nations.

Yesterday, Trump declared that "If they want to throw rocks at our military […] I

told them, consider it a rifle," referring to migrants who have on occasion thrown rocks

or other projectiles at the abusive and cruel Border Patrol agents that harass and hunt

them in the desert.

Enough is enough!

Add your name to call for Trump to be officially censored for his violent rhetoric that's led

to deadly attacks.

Just one day later, the Nigerian Army posted a video of his remarks to Twitter with the

caption "Please Watch and Make your Deductions," in an obvious effort to justify the recent

alleged massacre of 45 protestors in the capital of Abuja.

The Islamic Movement in Nigeria is a Shiite Muslim political group that regularly holds

protests demanding that the government release its leader, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, from

prison.

Zakzaky has been held without charge since 2015, when the army raided his residence,

arrested him, and massacred of 357 of his followers including three of his own sons.

His group, whose overarching goals include an Iranian-style Islamic revolution and the

liberation of the Palestinian territories, has been a common target of persecution by

both the government and from Sunni terror group Boko Haram.

While it's unclear whether or not the body count was as high as the IMN alleges it was,

multiple protestors were definitely shot and killed by the military earlier this week — and

now the government is using the Republican President's own words to justify their repressive

murders.

The President's refusal to criticize or even acknowledge the flagrant crimes committed

by the Israeli Defense Force, who killed hundreds and viciously maimed tens of thousands of

Palestinian protestors during the Great March of Return earlier this year, sent a message

to the world that said the United States no longer cares about the people's right to

peacefully protest.

Now that he's openly dancing around the idea of mowing down migrants at the border,

one shudders to think of what kind of atrocities will be committed by other repressive governments

giddy at the prospect of being able to crush dissent without having to give lip service

to basic human rights.

Trump cites N. Korea's invitation of international inspectors as progress toward denuclearization - Duration: 1:56.

We start with the ongoing international diplomacy with North Korea.

While a high-level meeting between the North and the United States is expected to take

place next week,...

U.S. President Donald Trump is again touting his administration's achievements on the regime's

denuclearization drive.

This time, he chose to highlight the North's decision to invite international inspectors

to its nuclear test sites.

Kim Mok-yeon reports.

Speaking at a campaign rally in Missouri,...

President Trump said North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has vowed to allow outside inspectors

into the Punggye-ri nuclear test site and the Dongchang-ri missile engine facility,

revealing his optimistic diagnosis on the prospects for North Korea's denuclearization.

He stressed his administration is doing well to keep the peace with North Korea, and he

took aim at the media for not giving him significant credit for doing so.

"Let me tell you, we would be in a nuclear war right now if the right person didn't come

along.

So we're doing well."

Regarding U.S. sanctions on North Korea, President Trump said his administration is willing to

remove them,... if the regime continues to make progress towards denuclearization.

North Korea is under tough international sanctions for its nuclear weapons program, and the U.S.

has vowed not to lift them until the regime completely denuclearizes.

President Trump also boasted of what he called his "very good" relationship with Kim.

He said the two sides are getting to a point where North Korea really wants to do something,

adding the world would not have to worry about millions of lives being lost in a nuclear

war.

President Trump is expected to hold his second summit with Kim Jong-un early next year, at

least six months after their first encounter in Singapore in June.

To prepare for the next summit and continue their negotiations on implementing the so-called

Sentosa agreement, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is expected to meet his North

Korean counterpart in the coming days.

Trump expects to strike good trade deal with China - Duration: 0:39.

U.S. President Donald Trump is forecasting that Washington will strike a good deal in

its trade negotiations with China.

Speaking to reporters at the White House on Friday, Trump said the two sides are getting

closer to doing something, adding a lot of progress had been made to resolve their differences.

He said that, during his phone conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping the previous

day, he could feel that his Chinese counterpart wants to make a deal.

President Trump said the deal will be fair for everybody and at the same time good for

the United States.

However, Trump's economic adviser Larry Kudlow was more cautious, saying nothing will happen

soon.

Delegations of Seoul and Pyeongyang met at the joint liaison office north of the inter-Korean

border on Friday to discuss sports exchanges.

They've decided to field joint teams for upcoming international sports events... and to bid

to co-host the Summer Olympics in 2032.

Oh Jung-hee reports.

Just as agreed by the leaders at the September summit, South and North Korea are launching

a joint bid to host the Olympic Games.

Delegations from Seoul and Pyeongyang met at the joint liaison office in North Korea's

border town of Gaeseong on Friday for sports talks, with vice sports ministers leading

the delegations.

They've agreed to tell the International Olympic Committee -- together -- of their intent to

co-host the Summer Olympics in 2032.

And the details of that, they say, will be worked on through the joint liaison office,

where officials of each side stay and communicate 24/7.

The two Koreas also decided to field joint teams for upcoming international sports events

-- namely, next year's men's World Handball Championship and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

They'll be starting consultations with the IOC and related organizations.

South and North Korea also promised to take part in international sporting events hosted

by the other... and to continue exchanges like friendly matches in various sports.

It is not an exaggeration to say that inter-Korean sports exchanges have been at the forefront

of the peace mood on the Korean Peninsula this year.

The dialogue momentum began when North Korea decided to participate in PyeongChang Winter

Olympics and Paralympics earlier this year.

And sports exchanges continued as Seoul and Pyeongyang held inter-Korean basketball friendly

matches in Pyeongyang for the first time in 13 years,... and North Korean athletes came

down to the South to take part in international table tennis and shooting competitions.

With the new action plans set out through Friday's sports talks... and the joint contact

office in operation in full swing, sports diplomacy between the two Koreas is set to

keep blooming.

Trump Canceled Backstabbing Congress' Fancy Picnic – Has Priceless Plan For All The Food - Duration: 5:09.

There was supposed to be an annual congressional picknick but since President Trump rightly

so felt like Congress didn't deserve to have one he canceled it on the spot.

"We are going to cancel and postpone tomorrow's congressional picnic," Trump said.

"It doesn't feel right to have a picnic for Congress when we are doing something very

important."

He added, "It didn't feel exactly right to me."

This is what some have all been waiting to see for decades now.

Since the backstabbers in Congress have been avoiding doing their job for decades, it's

now being reported that President Trump hypothetically took them out behind the woodshed today.

No, he didn't beat them although the Liberal mainstream media may paint it as he did even

worse to them.

But there was only one problem with the cancellation.

The preparations had already begun.

The menu is awesome.

It included ribeye Steaks, coleslaw, quinoa, spinach, black beans and a huge assortment

of pies.

Since all this food was already being prepared President Trump decided to do what's right.

Instead of throwing it out he decided to feed all of the food to Walter Reed hospital patients,

caregivers and employees at the Warrior and Family Center in Bethesda.

What a beautiful gesture, to give all that top notch food to American heroes instead

of the jokers in Congress.

Update America covered more on the canceled party and presentation of a good meal to those

who seemed to deserve it a lot more!

"President Donald Trump surprised members of Congress earlier this week when he abruptly

canceled the annual Congressional Picnic.

Basically, the president felt like they didn't deserve it.

The menu included "ribeye steaks, spinach, coleslaw, quinoa, black beans and pies."

Rather than let Congress throw a fancy picnic, President Trump's administration decided

to feed all of the food to "Walter Reed hospital patients, caregivers and employees

at the Warrior and Family Center in Bethesda," Bloomberg's Jennifer Jacobs reported.

That means America's military heroes are going to be eating very good.

President Trump has called on Democrats to stop "obstructing" and work with Republicans

to pass comprehensive immigration reform.

Earlier this week, the president signed an executive order to keep immigrant families

together.

Now it's lawmakers' turn to do their job.

"We must maintain a Strong Southern Border.

We cannot allow our Country to be overrun by illegal immigrants as the Democrats tell

their phony stories of sadness and grief, hoping it will help them in the elections,"

Trump tweeted on Friday.

"Obama and others had the same pictures, and did nothing about it!"

Trump isn't the only one who doesn't seem happy with Congress.

Their approval ratings aren't doing so well among voters either.

"It's no secret that Congress isn't exactly the most popular institution in American

government.

But now it's reaching new lows.

Congress sank to a 10% approval rating in a new Quinnipiac University poll released

on Thursday, with roughly five in six Americans saying they disapprove of the country's

legislative body.

This compares to an 18% approval rating in March.

And if you're searching for the main reason behind the drop, look no further than Republican

voters.

Back in January and March, more than one in three Republicans said they had positive views

of Congress, which is controlled by the GOP in both chambers.

But now, that's plummeted to just 14% of Republican voters who give Congress a thumbs

up.

The new numbers come after a high-profile effort to repeal and replace Obamacare barely

squeaked through the House and failed in a dramatic late-night vote in the Senate.

Congress's overall 10% approval is the lowest for Congress in Quinnipiac's history of

data back to 2003.

Using Gallup data beyond that, it's the lowest for Congress in data back to 1974.

(Congress did reach a 9% approval rating in Gallup polling in November 2013 in the wake

of a two-week government shutdown.)

And to make matters worse, Republicans were Congress's most supportive group.

The low numbers stretch across every demographic division — only 12% of nonwhites, 12% of

people under 35 years old, 11% of men, 10% of people over 65 years old, 9% of women and

9% of whites approve.

Support for Congress among independents has also bottomed out, falling from 18% in January

to just 8% now.

Democrats have remained essentially stable in the single digits."

With all the issues we are facing today it's no time for our so-called Representatives

to be taking time to enjoy a BBQ.

Especially when we have a party like the Democrats who seem intent on ruining our nation by forcing

us into open borders along with the help of their mainstream media and celebrities who

spread lies and misinformation.

HBO Just Went After President Trump In A HUGE Way Right Before Midterms - Duration: 2:58.

it's hilarious how the far left acts towards this President…yet had no problem with the

last one using Hollywood for political purposes.

The double standard in Hollywood is mind blowing.

From CNBC:

HBO isn't happy that President Donald Trump used "Game of Thrones" imagery and language

to promote sanctions against Iran.

An image of Trump posted Friday featured a text overlay reading "Sanctions are coming."

The font of the text is a near-match of the style used in HBO's mega-popular fantasy

television series.

The slogan itself appears to imitate "Winter is coming," one of the show's most popular

slogans.

In a statement to CNBC, HBO said, "We were not aware of this messaging and would prefer

our trademark not be misappropriated for political purposes."

The White House did not immediately respond to CNBC's request for comment on HBO's

statement.

It was not immediately clear from Trump's tweet which sanctions he was referring to.

But the White House's official Twitter account appeared to clarify in a follow-up shortly

after Trump's tweet that the image was intended to reference sanctions on Iran.

Trump's tweet also noted that the sanctions were "coming" on Monday, Nov. 5, when

the administration says it will reimpose all U.S. sanctions on Iran that had been relaxed

under the 2015 nuclear deal brokered during the Obama administration.

This isn't the first time Trump has run afoul of HBO's parent company, Time Warner.

The president has repeatedly hammered news network CNN, and his Justice Department opposed

AT&T's acquisition of Time Warner, which was cleared by a federal judge in June.

Some stars of "Game of Thrones," which is set to air its eighth and final season

in 2019, responded to Trump's allegedly unauthorized use of the show's likeness.

Maisie Williams, who portrays Arya Stark on the show, responded, "Not today."

Sophie Turner, who plays Arya's sister Sansa, was even more succinct: "Ew," she said.

While HBO objected to Trump's photo, the show's themes and catchphrases have often

shown up in politics.

Business Insider reported that Trump's 2016 rival, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton,

compared herself to another character, Cersei Lannister, in her memoir, "What Happened."

"Crowds at Trump rallies called for my imprisonment more times than I can count," Clinton reportedly

wrote.

"They shouted 'Guilty!

Guilty!' like the religious zealots in 'Game of Thrones' chanting 'Shame!

Shame!' while Cersei Lannister walked back to the Red Keep."

Melania Trump Racked Up a $95,000 Hotel Bill After Spending Just 6 Hours in Cairo - 247 news - Duration: 4:47.

Travel doesn't come cheap for First Lady Melania Trump.  Federal spending records indicate that during Trump's trip to Cairo earlier this month, the U

S. State Department paid $95,050 to the Semiramis Intercontinental Cairo hotel for the first lady's visit — but according to her spokesperson, she didn't even stay the night! Get push notifications with news, articles, and more! Follow Following Hooray! You'll get the latest updates on this topic in your browser notifications!  The first lady's communications director, Stephanie Grisham, told Quartz, which first reported the news, the Mrs

Trump was only in Cairo for six hours.  Grisham confirmed to PEOPLE that the first lady did not stay at the hotel overnight

Grisham also questioned where the federal spending records got its information, adding that her team is looking into where the number came from

She did not directly dispute the figure, however.  Rooms at the luxury hotel range from $119 to $699 per night, according to the Semiramis Intercontinental Cairo's website

The spending records were not itemized, offering no hints at what charges led to the bill

This isn't the first time a Trump outing has cost the taxpayers thousands of dollars

During Donald Trump's July stay at his own golf resort in Scotland, which included him hitting the links for two rounds of golf, taxpayers were left footing a $68,800 bill, according The Scotsman

Trump, his son Eric, and White House staff spent two nights at the Trump Turnberry, paid for with State Department money, the Scottish newspaper reported

The Trump Organization did not dispute The Scotsman's report that the U.S. government paid $68,800 to Turnberry to cover the cost of Trump's visit

However, a statement emailed to PEOPLE and attributed to George A. Sorial, the Trump Organization's executive vice president and chief compliance counsel, said that the company didn't profit from the stay

"For United States government patronage, our hotels charge room rates only at cost and we do not profit from these stays," Sorial said in the statement

During her trip to Africa, which included the stop in Cairo, the first lady spoke out against all of the criticisms that have been directed at her, calling herself the "most bullied person in the world

"  In a sit-down with ABC News, the first lady told chief national affairs correspondent Tom Llamas that her "Be Best" policy platform targeting online bullies is personal

"I could say that I'm the most bullied person in the world," she said in the sit-down, taped during her recent tour of Africa

"One of them — if you really see what people are saying about me."  "That's why 'Be Best' is focusing on online behavior and social media," Mrs

Trump continued. "We need to educate the children [about] social, emotional behavior

"  During the trip, the first lady was also criticized for wearing a pith helmet, a hat most commonly associated with colonialists

"I wish people would focus on what I do, not what I wear," she told reporters during a stop in Giza, Egypt

Nigerian Army Defends Shooting Of Shi'ites With Trump's 'Firearm' Video - Duration: 1:51.

Nigerian Army Defends Shooting Of Shi'ites With Trump's 'Firearm' Video

The Nigerian Army has defended its shooting of members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) by sharing a video of United States President Donald Trump issuing a warning to migrants.

The Nigerian Army had opened fire on Shi'a protesters during their annual religious trek, which led to the death of more than 40 members of the sect.

In the video, which was originally aired on November 1, 2018, Trump was recorded issuing a warning to migrants who attempt to forcefully gain entry into the country.

According to Trump, the United States would not tolerate the treatment meted out to Mexican security operatives who were pelted with stones by migrants trying to forcefully pass through its borders.

In the video, Trump said the US government will not tolerate anyone who throws a rock at the military as soldiers will "consider that a firearm" because "there's not much difference".

The Nigerian Army shared the video on its official Twitter handle on Friday morning and called on Nigerians to "make deductions".

This was ostensibly in reference to the raging debate that soldiers pelted with stoned by Shi'ites in Abuja should not have responded by firing gunshots.

A check by SaharaReporters on Friday evening revealed that the video had 'vanished' from the Twitter feed of the Nigerian Army's official handle.

President Trump Slams Dem Silence After Second Kavanaugh Accuser Admits To Fake Allegations - Duration: 2:35.

Moments ago President Trump took to twitter to address the admittedly false sexual assault

allegations created and presented by left wing activist of Judy Munro-Leighton.

Her graphic claims, which were originally made anonymously alleged that Justice Kavanaugh

and a friend raped her "several times each" in the backseat of a car.

Her original claim came in the form of a handwritten letter signed by a Jane Doe from Oceanside,

California, which was reportedly mailed to the offices of Senator Kamala Harris in California,

with no return address.

As reported by ILMF yesterday, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley referred

a second Kavanaugh accuser to the Department of Justice for a criminal investigation after

making false statement to the committee and others associated with the investigation.

Grassley's letter which provided a very detailed timeline of the events can be seen

below.

In the letter it was identified that Ms. Munro-Leighton was worried that the name Jane Doe would not

garner enough attention to her claims, she then gave her real name and a typed version

of the letter, but was afraid to come forward publicly.

In the end investigators were able to search her unique name, and identify Ms. Monroe-Leighton

as a known left wing activist who is decades older than Justice Kavanaugh, and lives in

neither Washington, DC or California.

Via phone she further confessed she was just trying to get attention, that it was a tactic,

and that it was a ploy.

Chairman Grassley's letter provided clear proof the accusation were false, by the accusers

own admission.

He has asked that the Justice Department to give this matter the utmost consideration

citing the seriousness of the issue.

President Trump has since weighed in, mincing no words when doing so.

"A vicious accuser of Justice Kavanough has just admitted that she was lying, her

story was totally made up, or FAKE!

Can you imagine if he didn't become a Justice of the Supreme Court because of her disgusting

False Statements.

What about the others?

Where are the Dems on this?" he wrote on twitter.

Top level democrats have yet to respond to the bombshell report.
