Trump news on Youtube Mar 15 2018

And to tell us more about Tillerson's firing and what impact this could have on U.S.- North

Korea dialogue, as well as U.S. foreign policies,... we're joined now by Dr. Bong Young-shik, a

researcher at the Yonsei Institute for North Korean Studies.

Good to see you.

Pleasure to be here.

1- So it was a rather abrupt end for Mr. Tillerson as he actually learned that he had been fired

on Tuesday morning... when a top aide showed him President Trump's tweet.

And before we go into this further,... first tell us what does the U.S. Secretary of State

do?

What are his or her main duties?

2- More attention has been on Tillerson's dismissal considering that a potential U.S.-

North Korea summit may take place by May

and

Tillerson

was

the President's chief foreign affairs adviser.

3- So then let's talk about CIA Director Mike Pompeo who has been appointed to replace Tillerson

as Trump's chief diplomat.

What kind of figure is he and what can we expect from Pompeo in regards to U.S. foreign

affairs?

4- There are voices of concern though, especially at a time when President Trump and North Korean

leader Kim Jong-un are moving toward dialogue.

Pompeo is known for encouraging Trump to be hawkish on North Korea.

5- What are some positive aspects of Pompeo though when it comes to U.S.-North Korea relations?

6- Pompeo was also the one who communicated closely with his South

Korean counterpart Suh Hoon... when

South

Korea engaged with Pyongyang during and after the

PyeongChang Winter Olympics.

7- But we can't help but worry about the worst case scenario, which would be the U.S.-North

Korea talks ending with no effective deal,... which could result in both sides choosing

the military option.

8- Meanwhile, South Korean Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha will be meeting with U.S. Deputy

Secretary of State John Sullivan, after Tillerson's abrupt dismissal.

What impact could Tillerson's dismissal possibly have on bilateral cooperation between South

Korea and the U.S.?

9- So, what path do you think the U.S. will take

from here on... when

preparing

for a possible summit

with a new U.S. Secretary of State?

Thank you

for your time today.

Always a pleasure.

'Trump Broke Him,' Crying Chuck Schumer Makes Shocking Admission About POTUS - Duration: 27:06.

'Trump Broke Him,' Crying Chuck Schumer Makes Shocking Admission About POTUS

President Donald Trump is keeping his promises to put America first.

Now, "Crying" Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has cracked, making a shocking admission about

our President that no one saw coming.

Chuck Schumer (left), President Donald Trump (right) (Photo Credits: YouTube/CNBC/The Tonight

Show) According to Daily Caller, Democrat Chuck

Schumer (D-NY) stood on the Senate floor on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, to bend the knee

to our brilliant President for his masterful intervention to keep American tech giant Qualcomm

American.

Schumer unabashedly praised Trump for stopping Broadcom, the Singapore owned, China-backed

tech company, from taking over the U.S. chipmaker Qualcomm due to the national security risks

that would have come along with the takeover.

This is a blow to China and a clear message to foreign governments who have been stealing

U.S. technology for years that a new sheriff is in town.

"Let me say unequivocally, President Trump and his administration made the right decision

on blocking Broadcom from taking over Qualcomm," Schumer said.

"We all know that China has been rapacious about trade and very smart.

They look for places where they can steal our best technology."

This is a different tune for Schumer who has locked horns with Trump on nearly every issue

from gun rights and tax reform to immigration.

Despite being ideologically opposed to the President, Schumer was apparently ready to

recognize Trump's fine leadership in regard to the proposed tech takeover.

I would not be surprised in the least to find that perhaps Schumer himself or close political

allies had a lot to lose in the event that Broadcom succeeded.

Thanks to Trump's decision to put the smackdown on Singapore and China, the U.S. tech industry

has a huge reason to celebrate.

The President's order came on Monday, March 12, 2018, which mandated that Broadcom and

Qualcomm cease all activities related to the takeover.

Had the takeover been allowed to transpire, it would have constituted one of the biggest

tech mergers in history, with an estimated value of $117 billion.

The administration's decision, in this case, should serve as an example to foreign governments

and companies who set their sights on U.S. firms in the future.

According to Breitbart, the President's decision followed an investigation conducted

by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. (CFIUS), which discovered that Broadcom

had planned a hostile takeover of Qualcomm through stock purchases and proxy votes in

early 2018.

The committee is made up of select members of Trump's cabinet and Secretary of the

Treasure Steven Mnuchin.

Thanks to their hard work, our President was able to look at the merger with a wealth of

information and make the right call.

The decision to investigate the merger was based on classified and unclassified information

gathered by the Treasury Department.

Notably, U.S. owned Qualcomm is the biggest manufacturer of critical semiconductors that

power electronic devices.

Smartphones and servers are among some of the most technologically advanced devices

containing Qualcomm's chips.

The tech giant is also known as a global leader in the research and development of 5G networks.

One of the more sensitive issues involved in the merger involves classified contracts,

which Qualcomm has with the Department of Defense and other agencies.

Why on earth would we want a foreign government like Singapore or China to be in control of

those kinds of resources?

The Treasury Department released a letter on March 6, 2018, which read in part.

"Qualcomm has become well-known to and trusted by, the U.S. government … Having a well-known

and trusted company hold the dominant role that Qualcomm does in the U.S. telecommunications

infrastructure provides significant confidence in the integrity of such infrastructure as

it relates to national security."

The Trump administration needs to re-evaluate the capability of foreign governments and

companies to invest in U.S. owned businesses.

For decades, our country's industries have been left wide open to what, in reality, amounts

to a foreign invasion.

I don't often share similar opinions with "Crying" Chuck Schumer, but when he stands

on the Senate floor praising President Donald Trump for a smart move, I can't help but

nod

in agreement.

Trump may tap Larry Kudlow as economic adviser - Duration: 0:33.

President Donald Trump has reportedly tapped economic analyst Larry Kudlow to head the

White House National Economic Council.

Anonymous sources told The Washington Post on Wednesday that Kudlow accepted Trump's

offer to take over the position Gary Cohn left earlier in March.

As of Wednesday morning, it was unclear when Trump would make the official announcement.

But according to CNBC, it could come as early as Thursday.

Kudlow was considered to be the front-runner for the job.

He's worked in media and informally advised Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Trump fires Tillerson... bringing disarray to Washington and Seoul over North Korea - Duration: 2:43.

U.S. President Donald Trump has fired his Secretary of State.

The sudden turnaround is causing concern in Washington and Seoul, with the critical summit

between the U.S. and North Korea set to be held in a matter of weeks.

Kwon Jang-ho has this report.

In a tweet, U.S. President Trump announced that he was firing Rex Tillerson as Secretary

of State and nominating CIA Director Mike Pompeo instead.

There were conflicting reports over whether Tillerson was told during his trip to Africa

or whether he discovered his fate from that message on Twitter.

Either way, he confirmed his departure in front of the press later.

"My commission as secretary of state will terminate at midnight, March the 31st.

I'll now return to private life as a private citizen, as a proud American, proud of the

opportunity I've had to serve my country."

The sudden nature of his departure was unexpected, but not surprising.

The relationship between Tillerson and Trump had been on the rocks for several months,

and some were surprised he had lasted this long.

However, there are concerns over the disarray and uncertainty that this change brings, especially

with critical foreign policy issues up in the air, most urgently the landmark U.S.-North

Korea talks slated for May.

"Until Pompeo is confirmed by the senate, he is not the Secretary of State.

The question here is, will Mike Pompeo be appointed before May, and if so, does he have

preferences about who should be leading the arrangements for the talks.

Then, how much time will the new team have to make these arrangements with North Korea."

For Seoul, the immediate issue was whether Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha would visit

Washington as scheduled on Thursday, as she had planned to meet Tillerson.

The foreign ministry confirmed that the visit would go ahead, saying that she would meet

with the deputy secretary, John Sullivan, citing the need for continued communication

between the two administrations at this important time.

Planning both the inter-Korean talks and the U.S.-North Korea talks will likely require

close cooperation between the Seoul and Washington to make sure they are on the same page on

what to get from Pyongyang.

"The problem is the process, the process of denuclearization.

What will be the process that the U.S. would accept with Pompeo as the new Secretary of

State.

The South Korean government has proposed a two-step process; freeze and denuclearization.

I don't think the U.S. would be satisfied with the first step for freeze."

Pressure will be on Kang to swiftly establish a productive relationship with her new Washington

counterpart over the next two months.

Mueller's Star Witness Against Trump Busted Partying With Bill Clinton - Duration: 27:06.

Mueller's Star Witness Against Trump Busted Partying With

Bill Clinton

Robert Mueller's Russia witch-hunt, which should have ended MONTHS ago just took another

hit.

Turns out the "star" witness Mueller put in front of the grand jury to testify on foreign

influence was busted in photos partying with Bill Clinton on a swanky island vacation.

That sounds like a real "credible" witness, right?

From True Pundit

The Clinton's get busted again.

It's a never-ending saga that somehow always seems to out do itself.

Special counsel Robert Mueller is getting the cooperation of a Lebanese-American businessman

with ties to Arab royalty in his probe of foreign influence on the Trump presidential

campaign, including the possibility of a back channel between the Kremlin and the Trump

transition team.

George Nader testified last week to the Mueller grand jury.

Mr. Nader is an adviser to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan of Abu Dhabi, the de facto

ruler of the United Arab Emirates.

According to The Times, Mr. Mueller is investigating whether Emirati money found its way to the

Trump campaign, which would be illegal.

That sounds very official and all but perhaps Mueller might ask his new star witness in

the Trump investigation what he was doing partying on an exclusive island resort with

Bill Clinton.

Especially when The Clinton's have been caught helping fund the bogus Trump dossier

which helped launch Mueller's probe.

Optics here.

Very bad.

And you haven't even seen the all the pictures yet.

During Trump's transition to the White House, Bill Clinton was at a lavish resort in Punta

Cana in the Dominican Republic with Nader.

That was BEFORE the Mueller investigation.

You do the math.

Clinton is seen here kicking back at a beach day in Jan. 2017 in Palmilla, Bayahibe, an

exclusive haven of warm waters and refuge, near the so-called Paso de Catuano, very close

to Isla Saona.

This resort is only in accessible by private boat.

Hillary did not travel with Bill during this junket.

Can't you tell?

Looks like a credible witness.

Just another chapter in the Mueller Russian investigation.

Conservative TV commentator Larry Kudlow named Trump's top economic adviser - Duration: 1:39.

U.S. President Donald Trump has named conservative economist Larry Kudlow as his new top economic

adviser.

It's left to be seen how Kudlow,... who advocates free trade,... will impact Trump's tariff

plans.

And as President Trump continues his trade war narrative,... the EU is urging him to

engage in trade talks, not trade war.

Kim Hyo-sun tells us more.

CNBC television commentator Larry Kudlow will become the Director of the National Economic

Council,... replacing Gary Cohn,... who resigned after opposing President Trump's decision

to impose tariffs on imported steel and aluminum.

The conservative economist, who also served as an advisor to the Reagan administration,

is a supporter of free trade.

Therefore,...

U.S. media is speculating that he could clash with President Trump over tariffs and trade

deals.

Meanwhile,... Trump took to Twitter on Wednesday to say that Washington will not turn a blind

eye to unfair trade practices,... a message that could be aimed at many U.S. allies, including

South Korea and the European Union, for going against his tariff increase,... and even reviewing

whether to file complaints to the World Trade Organization.

As President Trump continues his trade war narrative,... the EU is urging Washington

to revive trade talks rather than initiating a trade war.

It strongly criticized his decision to impose tariffs,... saying it undermines longstanding

trans-Atlantic ties,... and added that the economic bloc is preparing potential countermeasures

against American goods.

Kim Hyo-sun, Arirang News.
