Trump news on Youtube Mar 16 2018

U.S. President Donald Trump's newly-tapped Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has been given

the full backing of his boss to prepare for the U.S.-North Korea summit.

Watchers say the change in personnel should accelerate the pace of organizing the unprecedented

meeting.

Park Jong-hong reports.

Just two days after nominating him as his new Secretary of State, President Donald Trump

has heaped praise on Mike Pompeo's track record.

In a press release, the White House said as director Pompeo led the CIA to confront threats

to national security posed by North Korea and put forth new methods that enabled the

interdiction of shipments that violate sanctions on the regime.

The touting of his accomplishments is seen as giving credit for his contributions to

Trump's maximum pressure campaign against North Korea.

"Pompeo is a great choice.

Nobody's closer to President Trump than Mike Pompeo."

Pompeo's formal confirmation is pending a Congressional hearing, a process that may

take some time.

But pundits say the pace toward the first-ever U.S.-North Korea summit will probably pick

up steam.

Pompeo has said he will strive not to repeat the mistakes of the previous administration

with regard to North Korea and highlighted President Trump's accomplishments.

"He leaves on the table the discussion for denuclearization.

These are, these are real achievements.

These are conditions that the North Korean regime has never submitted to in exchange

for conversation."

Known to have more hawkish views than the outgoing Secretary of State Rex Tillerson,

Pompeo is seen to be capable of taking a hardline stance on North Korea in future denuclearization

talks.

Washington Post columnist Josh Rogin wrote on Thursday that the State Department is set

regain relevance with the new incoming chief.

On the organizational side, Pompeo is leaning toward discarding much of the State Department

reorganization project Tillerson had prioritized, an effort which has been hugely unpopular.

Pompeo is expected to establish a new team inside the current bureaucratic structure

aimed at creating less havoc while still emphasizing his own priorities.

Darrell Hammond Responds to Trump's Praise of His Impersonation | THR News - Duration: 2:55.

In the early morning hours of March 2, in a post filled with typos,

President Donald Trump tweeted about comedian Darrell Hammond.

99.9 percent of the time, the correct response is: "Uh-oh that can't be good!"

But in this case, the tweet in question was a decidedly positive one

(for Hammond at least) as the president was demanding that he replace

Alec Baldwin and once again play Trump on 'Saturday Night Live.'

As POTUS put it, "Bring back Darrell Hammond, funnier and a far greater talent!"

"I couldn't believe it," said a still astonished Hammond in an interview

with The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday. The popular 'SNL' veteran

spoke about losing his coveted character to Baldwin,

the aftermath and that one crazy tweet demanding he get the gig back.

It's been more than a year since Baldwin took over the Trump role on the

weekly NBC late-night sketch show. Hammond, who worked painstakingly

at the character, says he's now fine with the decision, though that wasn't always the case.

"It was a very hard thing for me to deal with at the time," Hammond admits.

Still working on 'SNL,' Hammond took over as the show's announcer in

September 2015, replacing the late Don Pardo.

Playing Trump was an additional duty, but a welcomed one.

Hammond has since made peace with being replaced.

"I resolved that issue in my mind a while ago," he says.

"It's not like Major League Baseball where there are 30 teams that you can

do your thing for. There is just the one show. I mean, I am not delighted,

but I am not disappointed and upset. I enjoy

being around Alec and everyone there. I always did."

Baldwin won an Emmy last year for his highly-unflattering impression,

which has been blasted by Trump over and over again.

An Emmy victory was a feat the president couldn't manage playing himself

on 'The Apprentice,' as Baldwin memorably referenced in his acceptance speech last September.

"The truth is, I have known Alec for a long time and always enjoyed his company,"

Hammond says, adding that the two shared some screen time when

Hammond played Bill Clinton for a sketch last season.

"It was just a nice little moment of recognition between the two of us," he says.

Then came the tweet. Hammond can't help but laugh as he recalls that morning.

"I was just out of bed," he begins. "I put my phone in the next room,

and I started hearing it ding because I just got a text.

And then it really started dinging. And I thought to myself,

'That damn phone is malfunctioning. It must be dying.'"

And, of course, his co-workers were aware of it, too.

"Lorne swept past me in the hallway with some of his people,

and he leaned in and said, 'The president knows your name.

Yes, he knows who you are.' I don't know why, it made me laugh," Hammond says.

But when it comes to possibly playing Trump again —

presidential demand or no— the comic says that ship has sailed.

"There is no time when I said to myself, 'You know, I think I am going to

wear the cape and cowl one more time," Hammond says.

"The roads are winding and long. That was back then.

Different strokes, for different folks."

So, who do you think does the best impression of Donald Trump: Alec Baldwin, or Darrell Hammond?

Give us your breakdown in the comments.

Trump Went To See New Border Wall When A Border Patrol Showed Him A MIRACLE(VIDEO)!!! - Duration: 12:39.

Trump Went To See New Border Wall When A Border Patrol Showed Him A MIRACLE

and what was it like until you built the wall in the wall by

the way is that wall up there which is just sheet metal but still at least it

works a little bit how was it before you built the wall

so there was effectively no border in San Diego as a chaotic situation that

this fence behind me it was made out of scrap metal that the military wasn't

using that we set in place to really just delineate the border once they

needed something and it changed our environment we went from we decrease the

Hilda cross-border traffic by 95 percent but with that fence and the roads and

the lights and the technology so that's 95 percent with a scrap metal wall that

they just put together with excess material and it worked 95 percent and

that wall they can get over very easily these walls they can but you know for

the people that say no wall if you didn't have walls over here you wouldn't

even have a country you wouldn't even have a country and by the way the state

of California is begging us to build walls in certain areas they don't tell

you that and we said no we won't do it until we build the whole wall but there

are certain areas as you know where they're really wanting us to build a

wall and because the people are complaining people are pouring in so you

know they don't talk about that well I do have a preference the problem

is you have to have see-through you have to know what's on the other

side of the wall and I mean a preference is something like that the problem is

you don't know what's on the other side of the wall if you don't know what's I

mean you could be a two feet away from a criminal cartel if you don't even know

they're there now we have equipment to take care of that extra equipment etc

but if you're on that side of the wall that's the hardest wall to scale it's

got a lot of assets the problem is tell them what do you

think about the importance of see-through when I have a see-through

wall sir I know what's approaching the border before it approaches we have

great partners in Mexico the law enforcement on that side I can call them

for assistance I don't get the opportunity to get ahead of a threat if

I can't see the post and what's the danger of not having to see through one

steel metal fence behind us we learn from that and back in the 90s we went in

actually cut in boards for you see on the south side we found that

that smugglers were used to defense to hide behind and they were either rocking

our agents or they were to acquire large groups of people in our comics and then

they would just rush across the border now if you just have a pure fence now

that's a fence a very sturdy fence but coming up I noticed the first thing I

noticed with how many holes are in that fence

now they fix the holes but it doesn't look very good they just patch it with

more fence but you take a look at the fence and it's a very powerful fence not

doing the trick because they cut holes in it and then they're patching holes

all the time I'm just looking you have hundreds of

holes cut in and patched so the fence is not strong enough it's not the right

idea but for those people if you don't have a wall system you're gonna have

we're not gonna have a country there's a lot of problems in Mexico they have a

lot of problems over there and they have the cartels and the cartels we're

fighting the cartels and we're fighting them hard

nobody ever before them like we fought we fight them hard but the fact is if

you don't have a wall system it would be bedlam I imagine it's very hard to

control it just personnel sir it's a combination of all

so we'll look at it the walls where you have some three really some see-through

capability if you don't have some see-through it's a problem visible

beaurevel prototypes during his trip to California come on in please Chris

Barbera a car bat cab Cabrera sorry about that Chris national Border Patrol

council okay Chris is it true that the president said California is begging for

a wall you know I believe he did say that and I think it's uh you know we

finally got a president in an office that realizes what it's going to take to

secure this country and and building a wall is is the first step that we need

there's already a wall in Southern California or partially a wall certainly

around San Diego and it works doesn't it yeah it does work I mean you you still

have folks tunneling under the wall I think that's one of the the things

they're gonna address in these prototypes and we have bits and pieces

out here in South Texas and they work very well for us down here now what

exactly are these prototypes are they all solid walls they're all high I mean

can you describe them for us yeah I think most of them are there they're not

completely solid they have you know some of them are solid at the bottom some of

them are more solid at the top where you can see through what's going on on the

other side they're all a little bit different but I think they all have the

same specifications that they can't be cut through or broken through within a

certain amount of time and I think that's the big thing we have areas now

where where they just cut right through the wall and I hit them with a vehicle

and just like a hinge on them and it just opens up like a door and and then

the vehicles gone into the end of the country I don't think the president is

now talking about a continuous wall all the way all the way across the entire

stretch of the border he's talking about large sections of the border being

covered by a wall that correct yeah you know from what I understand that's what

it is you know we have certain areas like a big bend out here in South Texas

or in West Texas where you have a 30-foot Bluff from all the way down to

the river so to put another 30 feet on top of that what kind of you know I

don't know if that'd be the smartest thing but if you have something like a

virtual wall where you have the the technology to monitor the area so

that way when we know something or someone has come into the country we'll

be able to we have a detected we can go apprehend it a few months ago we were

hearing that the inflow of illegals across the border had really dropped it

was down like 60 70 percent what's the situation now well you know I know in

South Texas we're getting hit where we're getting hit with huge numbers

coming in on a daily basis our manpower stretched real thin we're dealing a lot

with a catch-and-release where people are coming in and we have to release

them on their own recognizance pending a court date so we're not back up to the

levels we saw in 2014 or 16 well we are starting to climb up pretty high and

it's getting pretty bad you've still got a catch and really you catch and you

still got to release correct yeah yeah and you know it's not the actual Border

Patrol that's doing the releasing we pass them off to another agency with

with ice and ero and you know from there they usually get released because

there's no detention space to house them so we are dealing a lot with

unaccompanied minors and women and children coming into this country and in

huge numbers the problem there is it occupies so much of our manpower that

we're we're stretched so thin we can't do the job that we need to do as far as

preventing everybody from coming into the country all right Chris Chris

Cabrera thank you very much for joining us sir we appreciate you being here

thank you we'll bring you the latest in just moments from Pennsylvania but first

president Trump famously did not visit California in his first year as

president with its sanctuary policies and its hostile far-left leaders Akana

who could blame him well mr. Trump finally had a valid reason to go to the

Golden State today where he took a look at the prototypes of his border wall in

San Diego and he explained why the wall is essential if you take a look at the

vents and it's a very powerful fence not doing the trick because they cut holes

in it and then they're patching holes all the

time I'm just looking you have hundreds of holes cut in and back so the fence is

not strong enough that's not the right idea but you don't have we're not gonna

have a country he was back in the construction site today I loved it

joining us now for reaction is a CEO who submitted one of those prototypes

Fischer sand and gravel CEO Tommy Fischer joins us from Phoenix okay

Fischer sand and gravel you guys have been in business for I know since 1952

it's a family family-run company and what was it like to have the president

check out the prototype today oh it was a great honor for myself and all the

employees and hopefully my dad looking down from heaven to see where we've you

know come to so to have that opportunity to demonstrate to the President and all

the people of America of what we're capable of building it was just a great

honor and I'd also like to thank your commitment and determination to keep

border security front and center with all your viewers as well Laura

absolutely well I want to play a sound bite this is the president you know he

was looking at all the different prototypes and he made like a running

commentary throughout this is part of it let's watch we're looking very much at

the wall with some see-through capability on the other side and then

solid concrete on top or steel in concrete on top the round piece that you

see up here or you see more clearly back there the larger it is the better it is

because it's very hard to get over the top it's really deterrent from getting

over the top who would think who would think but getting over the top is easy

these are like professional mountain climbers or incredible climbers they

can't climb some of these walls some of them they can those are the walls were

not using all right Tommy well which wall was he talking about

because we were watching sound bite after sound bite today of individuals

who are against this wall who were saying I can get over this I've gotten

over other structures before there's no wall they can make tall enough for me

not to get over because I'm determined to get back into the United States where

I can make some money or see my family so what makes your wall impenetrable for

the people who really want to climb it well

first of all Laura our wall is solid concrete so if your see-through you know

you're basically a fencer you can cut like president Trump was talking about

earlier with the steel and still has its purpose out on the border but basically

encased in our concrete the biggest difference is is we took vision very

very serious when we put our proposal together that's why our wall strong

enough to be backfilled so agents have a 360 degree pan of panoramic top view

down so they have the advantage and hopefully the president will get to see

that with some of the other pictures and then the difference is is we can build

through the mountains as well and we have a product that lasts a hundred and

fifty years it broke my heart today to see the president talk about fixing wall

that's been out there that's a remnant wall or something and some of that walls

only been out there or the fence what I want to say the steel fence ten years up

to 20-some years and they're replacing our wall has a hundred and fifty year

lifespan but the big difference with ours is we can we're building access

roads for the agents so you're not even getting close to our wall our wall has a

road in front a road behind and it has such a superior advantage and that's why

we were able to procure the largest bond in the history of the United States

that's sitting on Homeland Security's desks that I gave them in January for

ten point seven seven billion like I talked to you in the radio show to build

700 miles I've also placed a two hundred and seventy four million dollar bid with

land that I just purchased in California to build the first 15 miles in the most

rugged mountainous terrain to prove to the president as well as every American

if you don't have a complete border protection system you do not have

security and like you said earlier I take with great respect the president

will if he allows us to play in our team of Fisher industries to play I guarantee

and no different than Tom Brady once we get in we never come out and if we don't

perform the president can fire us and that's how comfortable and confident I

am is when people see what we really offer I love not taking sides on which

prototype is best but this is why you're a good businessman a really quick

question how many jobs are we talking and just really quick what types of jobs

are these good-paying jobs only American products and only American workers

correct all aamir all American with all American grit

we probably if we did the big project the 700 miles you're talking thousands

of jobs with us in our partners the smaller job probably a thousand jobs but

here's the big differences our product in our patent-pending system does not

need crane so when we go into the mountains Laura I promise you in 30

minutes you could be running one of our excavators pulling back those wall forms

and you would see 30 feet of perfect wall built all right Tommy Fisher Fisher

sand and gravel fascinating to see the president out there was like he's back

on the job site and a construction project thanks so much thank you god

bless you and God bless america

Federal Judge Throws Out Liberals' Holy Grail Case, Trump Triumphs - Duration: 2:46.

Federal Judge Throws Out Liberals' Holy Grail Case, Trump Triumphs

Since Trump took office, Liberals have fought his leadership tooth and nail.

Democrats have resorted to several tactics to block Trump's authority.

The overall tactical plan is to utilize the judicial system and exploit it to their full

advantage.

One way they do so is to use radical judges to stall the president's executive orders

by means of an injunction.

Another way is to sue the president and his administration on what they think is an easy

win and use the judge's ruling in their favor as a precedent for their even bigger

cases.

That's just what the state of Massachusetts did when they sued President Trump on behalf

of their holiest of holy agenda items.

But in at least this particular case, Liberals just lost big, thanks to a federal judge.

From Fox News:

A federal judge in Boston Monday threw out a lawsuit by Massachusetts' attorney general

that attempted to block the Trump administration's rules expanding exemptions from ObamaCare's

birth control mandate…

ObamaCare originally required most companies to cover birth control at no additional cost,

though it included exemptions for religious organizations.

The Trump administration's policy allows more categories of employers, including publicly

traded companies, to claim religious or moral objections to contraception.

Obama and the Left tried to force their ideals onto all Americans.

Forcing companies to provide birth control—including abortion—would have violated the beliefs

of many business owners.

Why should they pay for something they don't agree with?

Besides, can't their employees pay for their own birth control?

Liberals tried to use the birth control mandate to expand the power of government.

It would force companies to rely on government funds to pay for birth control.

Socialism at work.

But President Trump undercut the rules, giving some liberty back to Americans.

It's not a huge surprise that Liberals tried to fight back.

They hate the idea of anyone making up their own mind about this issue.

Instead, they want the government to force companies to pay for birth control and abortions.

Unfortunately for them, the federal judge sided with Trump.

Now, we can only hope that these Liberals will hole up in their safe spaces for a while

to cry it out instead of running to the mainstream media and creating the false narrative that

Trump hates women.

But I won't hold my breath.

BREAKING: Devastating News About Trump Jr And His Family – Supporters In Total Disbelief - Duration: 5:25.

BREAKING: Devastating News About Trump Jr And His Family – Supporters In Total Disbelief

President Donald Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr, has been mostly out of the spotlight

with the exception of a few well-timed tweets in response to a few of the latest controversies

liberals have put his father in the middle of.

While we saw a lot of the president's respectable oldest son early on and sporadically since

it appears that he's been focused on other things outside the public eye and his father's

presidency.

Now we realize what may have played a big part in that and are saddened to hear what

has happened.

The Trump family is no stranger to negative and inaccurate media attention which may be

why Trump Jr has been trying to avoid cameras and questions, and people peering into his

personal life.

It was just a few months ago that the husband and father-of-five had made the shocking decision

to forgo security detail he and his family received as a direct family member of one

of the most controversial presidents in history.

He did this to regain some privacy which any parent can understand.

Being an avid gun supporter and husband, he's capable of protecting himself and his family

anyway.

However, there may have been much more to this story than we realized and now he, his

wife, and children need support.

Donald Jr's wife Vanessa was recently in the news after a suspicious package arrived

at her family's home which contained a mysterious powder inside.

Not knowing or expecting that it contained potentially dangerous contents, she opened

it while several others were in the direct vicinity of her.

As a matter of safety, she and others who were potentially affected were taken to the

hospital for evaluation.

She was checked out and found to be safe from the non-dangerous substance.

Now we're learning that not all was right for a different reason and her personal situation

wasn't as healthy as we thought. The letter incident is not directly related to the bigger

issue, but came at a time when not everything was right in her life.

It's being reported that Donald Jr and Vanessa have some difficult marital issues they have

not been able to resolve between the two of them, which has them headed for divorce and

already living apart, according to multiple sources including the Daily Caller.According

to The Daily Caller, Donald Trump Jr. and his wife Vanessa are headed for a divorce,

according to friends close to the couple.

The two married in November 2005 and have five children together.

But public scrutiny of the First Family has taken its toll on Vanessa and she wants out

as soon as possible, sources say.

A friend said of the couple, "The problems have been there for a long time, the couple

had hoped to stay together during the President's time in office, but it is getting harder to

resolve their issues.

He's never there."

Page Six reports the couple has not legally separated, but they are no longer sharing

a residence.

They've gotten individual houses and have been living alone for quite some time.

A representative for the couple has not commented on the matter however sources say they're

very close to officially filing for a split with the court.Trump Jr. has been the subject

of considerable skepticism surrounding Russian collusion and questionable international business

dealings.

He and his father deny any wrongdoing and maintain all work for his father's campaign

has been on the up and up.

Friends have expressed concern over his "bold and aggressive nature on social" media and

his extremely "busy traveling."

They also say Vanessa was particularly terrified after a suspicious letter with white powder

was sent to her family's residence last month.

If it goes through, the couple's divorce will likely be a central part of the news

cycle and both will receive a considerable amount of criticism.

But friends maintain the split has nothing to do with politics.

It is unfortunate that once again the Trump family is going to be the center of attack

by liberals everywhere due to personal family issues that are not remotely uncommon in this

country.

As if having your every action and part of your life dissected by the public isn't

hard enough, they can never deal with any sort of personal family issues alone.

There is always someone butting in, making assumptions, assuming the worst while publicly

blasting those accusations as fact.

Should their differences actually come to divorce, inevitable verbal assaults on them

personally and the president as well, are sure to ensure.

The outrage and argument will be ironic since the left are infamous for their support of

non-traditional marriage.

This is something they routinely force on all Americans, going as far as to take rights

of refusal away from business owners who make decisions in support of traditional marriage.

In this event and by their own logic, leftist Trump detractors should also sympathize with

the understanding that people should accept any personal decisions others make within

their relationships that has nothing to do with strangers.

Trump entrusts Pompeo with full authority in preparing North Korea summit - Duration: 2:28.

U.S. President Donald Trump's newly-tapped Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has been given

the full backing of his boss to prepare for the U.S.-North Korea summit.

Watchers say the change in personnel should accelerate the pace of organizing the unprecedented

meeting.

Our Park Jong-hong has the details.

Park Jong-hong, Arirang News.
