Trump may tap Larry Kudlow as economic adviser - Duration: 0:33.
President Donald Trump has reportedly tapped economic analyst Larry Kudlow to head the
White House National Economic Council.
Anonymous sources told The Washington Post on Wednesday that Kudlow accepted Trump's
offer to take over the position Gary Cohn left earlier in March.
As of Wednesday morning, it was unclear when Trump would make the official announcement.
But according to CNBC, it could come as early as Thursday.
Kudlow was considered to be the front-runner for the job.
He's worked in media and informally advised Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign.

BREAKING: Its Official! He's Gone Trump Just Named His Replacement
I worked with Mike Pompeo now for quite some time
tremendous energy tremendous intellect we're always on the same wavelength the
relationship has been very good and that's what I need as a secretary of
state I wish Rex Tillerson well Jeana by the
way who I know very well what worked very closely will be the first woman
director of the CIA she's an outstanding person who also I have gotten to know
very well so I've gotten to know a lot of people very well over the last year
and I'm really at a point where we're getting very close to having the cabinet
and other things that I want but I think Mike Pompeo will be a truly great
Secretary of State I have total confidence him and as far as Rex
Tillerson is concerned I very much appreciate his commitment that his
service and I wish him well he's a good man
Rex and I have been talking about this for a long time we we've got along
actually quite well but we disagreed on things when you look at the Iran deal I
think it's terrible I guess he fit it was okay
I wanted to either break it or do something and he felt a little bit
differently so we were not really thinking the same with Mike Mike Pompeo
we have a very similar thought process I think it's going to go very well Rex is
a very good man I like Rex a lot I really appreciate his commitment than
his service and I'll be speaking to r XO over a long period of time
no I really didn't discuss it very much with him honestly
I made that decision by myself Rex wasn't as you know in our in this
country I made the North Korea decision with
consultation for many people but I made that decision by myself
I actually got along well with Rex but really it was a different mindset it was
a different thinking
say it again
I respect his intellect I respect the process that we've all gone through
together we have a very good relationship for whatever reason
chemistry whatever it is why do people get along I've always right from the
beginning from day one I've gotten along well with Mike Pompeo and frankly I get
along well with Rex too and you know I wish Rex a lot of good things I think
he's going to do I think he's going to be very happy
I think Rex will be much happier now but I really appreciate his service but with
Mike we've had a very good chemistry right from the beginning
well it sounds to me I'm speaking to Teresa mate today it sounds to me like
it would be Russia based on all of the evidence they have I don't know if
they've come to a conclusion but she's calling me today as you know now we're
going to the wall we're going out to the wall we're going to be looking at the
prototype which is very important for our country but Teresa may is going to
be speaking to me today it sounds to me like they believe it was russia and i
would certainly take that finding as fat
as soon as we get the facts straight and we're going to be speaking with the
british today we're speaking with Theresa May today and as soon as we get
the facts straight if we agree with them we will condemn Russia or whoever it may
be but I have not spoken to out speak to or sometime today
we're very happy with the decision by the House Intelligence Committee saying
there was absolutely no collusion with respect to Russia and it was a very
powerful decision a very strong decision backed up I understand they're going to
be releasing hundreds of pages of proof and evidence but we are very very happy
with that decision it was a powerful decision that left no doubt so I want to
thank the House Intelligence Committee and all of the people that voted so far
I'm looking at Larry Kudlow very strongly I've known him a long time we
don't agree on everything but in this case I think that's good I want to have
a divergent opinion we agree on most he now has come around to believing in
tariffs as also a negotiating point you know I'm renegotiating trade deals and
without tariffs we wouldn't do nearly as well but Larry has been a friend of mine
for a long time he backed me very early in the campaign I think the earliest I
think he was one of my original backers he's a very very talented man a good man
and I think Larry Kudlow has a good chance I'm also speaking to many others
but I think Larry has a very good chance thank you all I'll see you I'll see you
at the wall I'll see you at the wall
thank you god bless you and God bless america

BREAKING Nothing But A TRAITOR! Trump Furious After Jeff Sessions' Dirty Little Secret Revealed - Duration: 28:52.
BREAKING: Nothing But A TRAITOR! Trump Furious After Jeff Sessions' Dirty Little Secret
Revealed
In an blatant effort to hide their crimes against this country, the Department of Justice
is pressuring President Trump to make a few changes to the "Nunes memo" before its
release.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions wants all the names of the guilty parties redacted from
the memo before it's release to the public this Friday.
Investigative journalist Sara Carter blew the lid off the effort to alter the document
on Thursday, tweeting:
"… DOJ wants all names redacted from #FISAMemo putting pressure on White House and House
Intelligence Committee, government officials say… is releasing names a threat to national
security?"
This tactic to protect themselves is just the latest in the DOJ's long history of
attempts to stop the document from being released to the public, which a source told Breitbart
would likely happen on Friday.
On Wednesday afternoon, the FBI released a rare statement saying that they had "grave
concerns" about the memo:
With regard to the House Intelligence Committee's memorandum, the FBI was provided a limited
opportunity to review this memo the day before the committee voted to release it.
As expressed during our initial review, we have grave concerns about material omissions
of fact that fundamentally impact the memo's accuracy.
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, the author of the controversial memo,
fired back in a statement of his own.
"Having stonewalled Congress' demands for information for nearly a year, it's
no surprise to see the FBI and DOJ issue spurious objections to allowing the American people
to see information related to surveillance abuses at these agencies," he said.
Check it out, per ABC News:
Meanwhile, Sessions has faced public criticism from Trump over his recusal and Rosenstein's
subsequent appointment of Mueller.
At one point last year, Trump told reporters he wouldn't have nominated Sessions to run
the Justice Department had he known Sessions would give up oversight of the investigation.
Representative Jeff Duncan tweeted Thursday that the FBI and Sessions' DOJ were right
to have "grave concerns" about releasing the memo:
"Having read 'The Memo,' the FBI is right to have 'grave concerns' – as
it will shake the organization down to its core – showing Americans just how the agency
was weaponized by the Obama officials/DNC/HRC to target political adversaries.
#ReleaseTheMemo," he tweeted.
Do you think Trump will release the memo with the names intact?
Should Trump fire
Jeff Sessions?

Trump fires Tillerson... bringing disarray to Washington and Seoul over North Korea - Duration: 2:43.
U.S. President Donald Trump has fired his Secretary of State.
The sudden turnaround is causing concern in Washington and Seoul, with the critical summit
between the U.S. and North Korea set to be held in a matter of weeks.
Kwon Jang-ho has this report.
In a tweet, U.S. President Trump announced that he was firing Rex Tillerson as Secretary
of State and nominating CIA Director Mike Pompeo instead.
There were conflicting reports over whether Tillerson was told during his trip to Africa
or whether he discovered his fate from that message on Twitter.
Either way, he confirmed his departure in front of the press later.
"My commission as secretary of state will terminate at midnight, March the 31st.
I'll now return to private life as a private citizen, as a proud American, proud of the
opportunity I've had to serve my country."
The sudden nature of his departure was unexpected, but not surprising.
The relationship between Tillerson and Trump had been on the rocks for several months,
and some were surprised he had lasted this long.
However, there are concerns over the disarray and uncertainty that this change brings, especially
with critical foreign policy issues up in the air, most urgently the landmark U.S.-North
Korea talks slated for May.
"Until Pompeo is confirmed by the senate, he is not the Secretary of State.
The question here is, will Mike Pompeo be appointed before May, and if so, does he have
preferences about who should be leading the arrangements for the talks.
Then, how much time will the new team have to make these arrangements with North Korea."
For Seoul, the immediate issue was whether Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha would visit
Washington as scheduled on Thursday, as she had planned to meet Tillerson.
The foreign ministry confirmed that the visit would go ahead, saying that she would meet
with the deputy secretary, John Sullivan, citing the need for continued communication
between the two administrations at this important time.
Planning both the inter-Korean talks and the U.S.-North Korea talks will likely require
close cooperation between the Seoul and Washington to make sure they are on the same page on
what to get from Pyongyang.
"The problem is the process, the process of denuclearization.
What will be the process that the U.S. would accept with Pompeo as the new Secretary of
State.
The South Korean government has proposed a two-step process; freeze and denuclearization.
I don't think the U.S. would be satisfied with the first step for freeze."
Pressure will be on Kang to swiftly establish a productive relationship with her new Washington
counterpart over the next two months.
Kwon Jang-ho, Arirang News.
