Trump accuses FBI leadership amid row over memo New video

Five Minute Unfakery - Trump's Parents in Klan Robes - Duration: 4:52.
Our friend Darren found some really persistent fakery.
It's easily debunked, but it keeps getting shared and passed around.
So rather than just look at the debunking.
we're going to also look at the comments and the reactions people have that might help us understand
why it persists.
Here it is. It's Donald Trump, and
appears to be him with his parents donning Klan robes.
So it's
January 20th 2017, that's a year ago, and it's been shared
163,000 times. That is a lot of reach for just one post.
Let's take a closer look. If we right click, and when you search for Google... Google for images...
Here it is: visually similar images. We click on that,
Salisbury News. Down here in the related images,
there's the original. You can see it's the same shot. It's just been doctored.
And going further, just doing a search, I found Shaun King has claimed absolutely that this photo's
not real. So if you're on the left and you want to pass it around as real, Shaun King is going to help
dispel that myth.
But it's not just that, again, this image exists,
it's also the reactions, so let's take a look at those.
We'll start here:
"This dude has enough stuff to call him out on... no need to photoshop KKK outfits on them. Just makes the argument fake."
"That is your real president you see him in all his glory with his mama and his daddy"
Or what about this one. "I was just about to say I heard that pix was fake, but it still showed their true colors"
This kind of comment disturbs me, too:
Yes, its photoshop...but
fact of the matter... his father was arrested at a KKK rally... so
even though the pic is not real... it might as well be" That's dangerous thinking. Have you heard people
defend fake news on the premise that "Well. It sounds true"?
This comment provides a little bit of hope: "Come on. y'all... if this picture really existed
don't you think it would have been on every news channel in the world...
(shaking my head)"
some people who doubted it and called it fake were called names, and they pushed back.
"I understand y'all hate for Trump..Hell
I don't like the guy,
but the picture is fake. That doesn't make someone a coon for pointing that out.
Not everything people share on Facebook is real. People photoshop things to start things with people.
Nobody is letting this man pass because the picture is fake."
Now, there's someone who can separate their feelings from the facts at hand.
Here's someone who shared the original photo that the photoshop came from: "Stop spreading disinformation.
It makes people question everything else you post. I mean unless you're into that kind of stuff."
This is a long comment,
but I think it sums up a lot of the concerns that I have: This is weird.
You knowingly bear responsibility in spreading a fake picture, with followers who further spread it. There's no honor in that,
regardless to agenda. There are many factual things that depict Trump as the true sad man who he is.
I could never feel good about promoting a lie after it has been brought to my attention as such - but you seem fine with providing misinformation.
There are people who likely look to you with respect as to knowledge. That can be lost. No worries;
I won't be revisiting this thread to read any responses. I'm done here."
This is the comment that concerned me the most:
"There should be a way to stop people from spreading this kind of rubbish."
And I think most of us agree that fakery, especially this kind, is a bad thing.
But it's exactly this kind of well meaning, but short-sighted, thinking that leads to bad policies, and
overreaching programs with tons of unintended consequences.
There were people commenting on this image
who said that "Well, it might not be an accurate picture, but it's the truth.
It's representative of the truth."
And that makes me ask: Do you recognize the same sort of comments when people on the right are talking about
Nancy Pelosi or
Maybe Al Sharpton? We have to be committed to the truth first. Especially if we want
people to be committed to the truth about, say, the President, or other people on the right.
It doesn't matter whether they're left or right.
It matters whether it's true or not.

Former FBI Director James Comey Calls Team Trump "Weasels & Liars," Gets Brutal Surprise
Former FBI Director James Comey let loose on President Donald Trump and company, calling
them "weasels and liars" after news broke that Trump would not honor the FBI's request
to redact all names in the FISA memo.
Now, Comey's getting a brutal surprise.Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey is officially
unhinged.
According to The Gateway Pundit, Comey lit up Twitter with a nasty verbal assault on
his political enemies, calling them heinous names like "weasels and liars," while
invoking the name of Joe McCarthy.
"All should appreciate the FBI speaking up.
I wish more of our leaders would.
But take heart: American history shows that, in the long run, weasels and liars never hold
the field, so long as good people stand up.
Not a lot of schools or streets named for Joe McCarthy," Comey wrote.
All should appreciate the FBI speaking up.
I wish more of our leaders would.
But take heart: American history shows that, in the long run, weasels and liars never hold
the field, so long as good people stand up.
Not a lot of schools or streets named for Joe McCarthy.James Comey's pathetic tweet
was obviously directed at the Trump administration and Republican lawmakers who revealed on Thursday,
February 1, 2018, that no redactions would be made to the FISA memo prior to being released.
I can't believe this man was Director of the FBI for nearly four years.
Trump's decision to sack this deep state hack couldn't have come a moment too soon.
Apparently, I'm not alone in those sentiments.
After Comey lost his mind on Twitter, a number of American patriots took part in delivering
a nasty surprise he obviously didn't expect, as they smacked him with a brutal response.
Below are a few of our favorite tweets.
Twitter user Joey Mann kicked things off with a statement we can all agree with, tweeting,
"YOU ARE A TOTALLY POLITICAL HACK WHO OBSTRUCTED JUSTICE!"
Joey's right.
Why Comey insists on bringing further shame to himself and those around him is anybody's
guess.Dennis Michael Lynch joined in with some very sobering truth.
"But Jim, history will also show the Obama era was a dark period in US history where
the rules were broken and gov't officials lied to the American people.
Names listed will be Obama, Clinton, Lynch, and Comey.
In other words, you are an asterisk," he wrote.
Well said Dennis, Comey probably hasn't had the truth spoken to him in a number of
years.
But Jim, history will also show the Obama era was a dark period in US history where
the rules were broken and gov't officials lied to the American people.
Names listed will be Obama, Clinton, Lynch and Comey.
In other words, you are an asterisk.Another Twitter user named "Imperator_Rex" had
one of my favorite tweets, which read, "Your crimes will be remembered for CENTURIES after
your tweets are forgotten, Comey.
Americans will associate your name with the worst scandal in US history.
For GENERATIONS.
'James Comey – a stain on American history'.
That's going to be your legacy."
For good measure, Congress should draw up legislation with new checks and balances for
the FBI and all other government agencies.
The Comey Act would be a good name for it.
Deplorable Basket Weaver wrote, "Shut up @Comey You're a dirty cop who did a disservice
to all Americans.
A quivering man afraid of the wrath of the Clinton cartel.
Now you want to act righteous in the 11th hour?
The actions of a desperate man trying hard to clean his soul.
Too late!"My favorite tweet came from Tiffany Denny.
"Comey, who are you calling Weasels and liars?
You drafted a letter about HRC letting her off before you even interviewed her!
Practice what you preach, sir!
You're just mad because you and your cronies got caught for being dishonest and deceitful!"
she wrote.
I completely agree.
Comey should fry for his part in helping Hillary Clinton get away with a mountain of crimes.James
Comey deserves every last bit of backlash he's receiving for his criminal behavior.
His relentless narcissism is typical of political elites.
There is going to be a day of reckoning where every last deep state hack is exposed and
prosecuted.
I think Rep. Devin Nunes said it best in his recent letter to the FBI, where he wrote,
"Once the truth gets out, we can begin taking steps to ensure our intelligence agencies
and courts are never misused like this again."
Former FBI Director James Comey was part of the misuse of our intelligence agencies and
courts.
It's time for him to drop the self-righteous indignation act.

Dropping of U.S. ambassador pick raises concerns over Trump administration policy on North Korea - Duration: 2:22.
There has not been a U.S. ambassador to South Korea for over a year now, and the post seems
set to remain vacant for a while... with the White House dropping its latest nominee.
The unexpected more raises a lot of questions especially pertaining to Washington's policies
concerning the Korean peninsula.
Kwon Jang-ho delves deeper into the issue.
The withdrawal of Victor Cha as the Trump administration's nominee for the U.S. ambassador
to South Korea has brought surprise and concern to the Korean peninsula.
The reasons behind why the Georgetown University academic and former advisor to George W. Bush
was dropped is unclear, but differences in opinion on issues such as North Korea, and
the South Korea-U.S. FTA, have been cited.
An op-ed in the Washington Post on Tuesday, written by Cha himself, shed a little more
light on those differences.
Cha said he had warned the White House against a preventive military strike, saying it would
risk hundreds of thousands of lives, and that other options were available.
It's highly unusual for an ambassadorial nominee to be dropped this late in the process, especially
after Washington had received official approval from Seoul over his appointment.
Cha's comments have sparked concerns that Washington's preparations for a military conflict
are further ahead than previously thought.
But observers say that although military options remain on the table, the current circumstances
with Cha do not necessarily point to any imminent danger.
"He's not saying that the administration is going to do this, but that there are some
people both within and outside of the administration that are contemplating this idea.
So, yes, we should give weight to the importance of the implications that may arise, but to
say that this is what the White House will do, I think is going a little too far.
The process of finding and appointing another nominee for ambassador to South Korea is expected
to take several months, and the prolonged absence will continue to raise questions about
communication between the two allies, while the situation with North Korea remains tense.
Seoul will likely keep a close eye on the situation, as any appointment could hint at
the direction of Washington's future policies towards the Korean peninsula, but it seems
the Trump administration is willing to wait to find someone who will toe the party line.

"Comedian" John Kerry Fat Shames Trump, Gets Roasted With Brutal Dose Of Reality - BreakingNews24 - Duration: 34:23.
"Comedian" John Kerry Fat Shames Trump, Gets Roasted With Brutal Dose Of Reality
Wannabe comedian and former Secretary of State John Kerry recently attempted to fat shame
President Donald Trump. Now, the only thing people are laughing at is the response Kerry
got as he was roasted with a brutal dose of reality.
John Kerry (left), President Donald Trump (right) (Photo Credits: YouTube/Jimmy Kimmel
Live/The Tonight Show) After a disappointing four years as head of
the State Department, Democrat John Kerry is spending his time poking fun at better
men. He recently spoke at the Alfalfa Club dinner in Washington, D.C., where his "fat
joke" about the President didn't earn him the response he was hoping for when it
hit social media.
According to Breitbart, Kerry attended the 105-year-old black-tie banquet on Saturday,
January 27, 2018, where the club's 200 members made up of "influential" politicians and
business executives gather to drink, listen to live music and try to tell jokes. When
it was Kerry's turn to stand up and impress everyone, he made a "fat joke" about President
Trump and sat down.
I'm not trying to make Kerry look stupid because he's a 74-year-old liberal who never
got over a failed presidential run in 2004, he's doing a great job of that by himself.
I'm just pointing out that taking a cheap shot at our President, in a room full of Trump-hating
political elites, doesn't make you as brave or witty as Kerry might assume.
In his senile rant, Kerry made a joke referencing the results of Trump's most recent physical
examination and equating it to the birther movement where Americans had legitimate disputes
over Barack Obama's alleged foreign birth.
"Despite the pressure he's under, the White House physician says President Trump
is in great shape — a trim 239 pounds. Personally, I just won't believe him until he produces
his long-form girth certificate," Kerry said.
Now, to a room full of drunk asshats who despise Trump, that might be hilarious, but once Kerry's
"fat joke" hit social media, it was time for him to get a dose of brutal reality.
In response to Twitter user AllAmericanGirl, who posted an article on Kerry's "girth
certificate" joke, viewers viciously roasted Kerry, and below are some of our favorite
comments.
Russell Ramstad sarcastically wrote, "Get this clown a late night comedy show!"

I'm not going to lie, I almost died laughing when I read in the news that Kerry broke his
leg because he fell off a bicycle. Karma's a bitch!

Twitter user Michael Stephenson shared a picture of Kerry's doppelganger and said, "Oh

DO Ranger said, "So fat shaming is now ok? The level of hypocrisy with politicians in
DC is astounding." Do Ranger has a point. Liberal politicians are always condemning
discrimination in one shape or another. Kerry just looks like an ass for making this statement
about Trump.
So fat shaming is now ok? The level of hypocrisy with politicians in DC is astounding.
— DO Ranger (@DORanger) January 29, 2018
One Twitter user named Ken McGann brought Kerry's past as a "war hero" into the
conversation, saying, "It is probably stored with your Bronze Star you got for writing
anti-war pieces." Of course, McGann is talking about Kerry's brief stint in Vietnam on
a patrol boat where he claimed to be a pretty awesome G.I. Joe. The truth later came out
as soldiers who knew Kerry in Vietnam exposed him for a fraud. To top it all off, Kerry
went before the Senate in 1971 to testify about atrocities committed by American soldiers
in Vietnam.
It is probably stored with your Bronze Star you got for writing anti-war pieces.

My favorite comment was posted by Twitter user The Original Myiq2xu, who pointed out
what a douchebag Kerry is by simply quoting him: "You know education, if you make the
most of it, you study hard, you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, you can
do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

I highly doubt John Kerry will ever live down saying such a heinous thing about our military
men and women in 2006.
The lack of character Kerry has demonstrated over the course of his life is astounding
and not because it's uncommon, but because he doesn't see it — at least not enough
to keep it classy at a fancy Alfalfa Club banquet with America's most "influential"
people around. There's nothing like a little Twitter justice to keep dirtbags
like
John
Kerry
in check.

'US military MIGHT' and Donald Trump strength forced DESPERATE North Korea to negotiate - DAILY NEWS - Duration: 4:25.
'US military MIGHT' and Donald Trump's strength forced DESPERATE North Korea to negotiate
Donald Trump's "tough stance" and staged US "military exercises" forced North Korea to
the negotiating table that set up its participation in the upcoming PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter
Games, the vice president of a leading Asian think-tank has claimed.
Choi Kang, from The Asian Institute for Policy Studies, was eager to tell Express.co.uk that
he believed the "tough stance" of Donald Trump was partially responsible for "the
resumption of inter-Korean talks".
He explained: "It seems to me that ironically if you look at the results - the resumption
of inter-Korean talks may be because of the tough stance of the Trump administration to
a certain degree.
"Actually, it may be possible because the Trump administration has started to strengthen
the sanctions and stage military exercises, so actually this might have made North Korea
much more concerned with outside pressures."
The expert added that the latest round of sanctions imposed by the UN may have been
the final blow to despot leader Kim Jong-un and could have forced his hand to open up
to his southern neighbour.
He went on: "The last sanctions that were adopted at the UN security council are tougher
than the previous ones and have started to touch on North Korea's oil supply and labour
issues.
"So North Korea has not felt the pain of the sanctions yet but they are expecting sanctions
to get much tougher and maybe there is a desire for North Korea to dilute the sanctions by
approaching South Korea and having talks and creating a peaceful mood in South Korea as
they try and create some kind of split between the United States and South Korea.
"They like to use South Korea as a shield - the fear of tougher sanctions could have
played on North Korea's mind."
When questioned on why it has taken so long for the international community to tighten
its stranglehold on Pyongyang, Mr Kang stated that China's recent willingness to impose
sanctions on Kim Jong-un emerged after "continuous provocations" from the hermit kingdom.
He went on: "It is an issue that has been dealt with before but China was very reluctant
at that point in time.
"Of course China is much more concerned with the safety and stability of the North
Korean regime so they were very reluctant to introduce tougher sanctions on North Korea.
"But because of North Korea's continuous provocations by staging missile tests, this
actually drove the United States into being tougher and now China has started being tougher
too.
"This change in environment has led North Korea to turn to Seoul to talk about the PyeongChang
games."
During a televised speech to mark the new year, Kim Jong-un appeared to perform a drastic
U-turn on his foreign policy.
The leader spoke of "melting the frozen North-South relations" shortly before a
series of negations between the two Koreas.
He declared: "The year 2018 is a significant year for both the North and the South, with
the North marking the 70th anniversary of its birth and the South hosting the Winter
Olympics.
"We should melt the frozen North-South relations, thus adorning this meaningful year as a year
to be specially recorded in the history of the nation."
Donald Trump appears to agree with Mr Kang that if not for his "firm, strong and willing"
attitude, talks with the hermit kingdom may never have taken place.
Following the announcement of inter-Korean dialogue, he tweeted: "With all of the failed
'experts' weighing in, does anybody really believe that talks and dialogue would be going
on between North and South Korea right now if I wasn't firm, strong and willing to
commit our total 'might' against the North.
Fools, but talks are a good thing!"

Trump using North Korean defectors to target Kim Jong-un: WSJ - Duration: 0:51.
U.S. President Donald Trump has started using North Korean defectors in his North Korea
policy.
The Wall Street Journal reported that a case in point was the story of Ji Seong-ho who
had suffered greatly at the hands of the regime.
He was singled out as a guest during President Trump's State of the Union address and the
paper said Trump chose the human rights activist to raise alarm about North Korea.
In a video report, the Wall Street Journal noted that Ji, when he was pointed out, stood
up and held up his crutches... receiving the longest standing ovation during the president's
speech.
The report noted that many North Koreans are defecting to South Korea and explained these
people are some of the few informants who are aware of the grim realities in North Korea.

We need to end chain migration
